of the difficulties

that you've been seeing?

Well, you know, it's interesting

from a financial
market perspective,

a lot of people
have lost their jobs.

When you think of
the service industry,

hotels and restaurants,
they've been hit really hard.

And I think this is a good time

to think about
our family members

and those that live next to us.

And maybe it'd be a good time

to give them an
extra gift this year.

You know, the
government talks about

getting another stimulus package

and for some it's not too soon.

A lot of people are hurting

least those two sectors,

but from a
financial perspective,

it's been very
difficult for people.

And even though the
market is starting to get better

and things are starting
to rev up on the market,

people are still, you
know, looking for their job,

to get their job back.

I mean, there's a lot of changes

that businesses have been doing

because of these situations.

financial perspective,

the other thing I noticed is,

when the truck started

not coming to
the stores anymore.

The food wasn't on
the shelves anymore.

I can't remember in my
life that ever being a problem.

So, you know, we
take a lot for granted,

but this year has
really showed me that,

you shouldn't take

these types of
things for granted,

That's right.

And so being in 2021,

the Lord brought us
through a very difficult year

and now we're
entering into one now

where we could
look back and say, phew!

But we don't know
what is ahead of us,

except the Lord does.

What have you seen?

I see a lot of people hurting

and even neighbors
and in the medical field,

I see kids that are
anxious, a little bit nervous

because they see their
stress on their parents

or online learning.

There's a lot going on
and a lot of uncertainty.

And so and some of them,

you know, they're used
to having it one-on-one

with their teacher

and now they're having to do it

and figure things out on
the computer by themselves.

And so that, I see
that that's a lot of reason

why there's a
new type of learning

that's taking place for many.

Some of them are still in person

in the classroom,

however many are not,
or sometimes things change

and they're going
back to online learning.

They said many of the children
of the grades are failing.

know how to help them.

And many of them,

trying to look for a job

their job from home.

So it's a
struggle for many of them.

or talk to people on the phone

and you hear it in
their voice for sure.

and you even volunteer for
some of the community help.

The place I've
been volunteering,

they're actually trying to help,

they have a new program
where helping homeless teens.

And we don't think about that.

in the big cities a lot,

of the stresses too,

is you're in a new year,

but yet things
aren't normal yet.

We wanted to go from
last year to this year

and have normal things,

but it's gonna take a long time

to figure out what normal is.

but our lives have changed.

difficulty with change

little minute changes,

or even just a few
people having a big change.

But all of a sudden

the whole world
had a huge change.

it doesn't affect us

or we think we're doing okay,

some way or another.

So that stress,

for each individual

it's an overall
worldly stress. Yeah.

And I think to tie into that,

I've noticed also
with the young people

or teenagers too,

is many of them don't
have a purpose anymore,

or even those
that aren't working.

They want to try to
find that new purpose

because God has
created us to have a mission

or to, you
know, to be purposeful

and to have a goal to reach

and not having
that for some people.

I think that's the other
thing is how can they reach out

or how can they find
their purpose in their life.

And that's why some teenagers
are getting into things

that they
shouldn't even more so now

because of this extra stress

or not having that purpose
or goal to look forward to.

And so, if they were working
or having something to do,

they would have that
purpose and feel motivated.

There is a lot of people

who have stepped up to
create new ways to help

and to have purpose.

many of the news things,

I know it seems like
it's always bad news,

but I was always
encouraged by the good stories.

And they're still out there,

good stories of people

that are coming up with
ideas of helping and changing

and making the world better.

come from the Lord

help coming in that area.
