mother, praise the Lord,

She grew up very challenged.

eventually got through

to the point where
she gave me a Bible

when I was early teens,

and for years it
just collected dust.

And one day, I
decided to open up this Bible

and that started my
journey towards Christianity.

It took years and
years and years after that,

probably close to a decade

before I
understood the Sabbath truth,

and the state of the dead,

and the sanctuary
and things like that.

But I think the Lord blessed
because I was interested.

He saw that I
had an honest heart,

I was a seeker of truth.

And so He forgave
me when I stumbled,

you know, she was big on that.

But one thing that I didn't like

that she would do
when I was younger

and growing up is
try and get me to sing

sing same like you.

You know, she would pick a song

and then we'd
sing and then we'd read

and talk about what we

that there is a tremendous,

better than that person
