00:01 I want to spend my life
00:07 Mending broken people
00:12 I want to spend my life
00:18 Removing pain
00:23 Lord, let my words
00:29 Heal a heart that hurts
00:34 I want to spend my life
00:40 Mending broken people
00:45 I want to spend my life
00:51 Mending broken people
01:11 Well, hello there.
01:12 Welcome to your program, 3ABN Today.
01:15 My name is Idalia Dinzey.
01:17 And it's a pleasure for me
01:19 to be with you during this hour.
01:22 Thank you for tuning in.
01:23 And, you know, you're in for a treat because why?
01:26 Because God is good, and His Word is life,
01:30 and His Word is joy.
01:32 And that is what we're gonna share
01:33 during this hour of Family Worship.
01:35 And this time, I'm not with my husband
01:37 sitting next to me,
01:39 but there is a special reason why.
01:41 But right now,
01:42 I'd like to present to you our family here,
01:44 your family of 3ABN.
01:47 So to my left, I have Janelle.
01:49 Welcome to the program, Janelle.
01:50 Thank you for asking me.
01:52 Thank you for coming.
01:54 And we have Valera Babb. Hi.
01:57 And next to me, who's this?
01:59 Xenia.
02:01 Happy Sabbath, everyone.
02:02 Happy Sabbath.
02:03 And LaDonna, welcome to the program.
02:05 Pleasure to be here. Happy Sabbath.
02:07 Happy Sabbath.
02:08 Isn't that wonderful to just put everything aside,
02:11 and come together, sit around a table,
02:13 and share of God's goodness?
02:15 Amen, amen.
02:16 I mean we've had a week,
02:18 and it sometimes, feels like it's been 10 days
02:21 in 1 day altogether, right?
02:22 Yes.
02:24 So during this hour,
02:26 we want to encourage you at home.
02:31 My husband and I went to a church
02:35 where we shared family worship ideas and all.
02:38 And one of the lady said, "You know, I'm by myself.
02:41 I never thought of doing family worship.
02:44 I don't have a family, so why would I do this?"
02:48 And so the idea was,
02:50 well, women's ministry,
02:52 you know, you can reach out to other women in the church.
02:56 And not all of us are single,
02:57 I mean, are we...
02:59 We're all married here. Yes.
03:02 And our spouses are alive.
03:04 But we want you at home to know
03:08 that we're thinking about you too,
03:10 whether you're a man at home all by yourself
03:13 or a woman, a young person.
03:15 There are ways of bringing in the Sabbath,
03:18 and just bring in some friends.
03:20 It doesn't have to be five people.
03:22 It could be two other people with you.
03:24 So what do you ladies feel
03:26 when you gather around a table to talk about God's Word?
03:29 It's so important
03:30 that you share with other people
03:33 because a lot of times,
03:34 you're the only Christian in your family,
03:36 the only one that comes to that time of day.
03:39 And when you know
03:41 you're going to be together with the Lord,
03:42 and you want to praise Him,
03:44 and you want to welcome the Sabbath,
03:46 but you're by yourself,
03:48 and you feel that you don't want to be
03:50 in your room by yourself.
03:51 And at that time, you can invite other people
03:54 because, I'm sure in your church,
03:55 they're other people like you.
03:57 That's right.
03:58 And you can make it... that you go together,
04:01 maybe a park
04:02 or to that other person's apartment
04:04 if they live by themselves or something.
04:06 And you can be together
04:08 and share what the Sabbath means to you.
04:12 Welcome it together. Amen.
04:14 Anyone else?
04:15 Well, even if it's just a couple at home.
04:18 You know, in our church, we have started...
04:19 Well, it was kind of the young people
04:21 that got it started.
04:22 Yes.
04:23 They started doing
04:25 a Friday night vespers together.
04:27 Yes.
04:28 And we've joined.
04:30 And, you know, there's a couple that...
04:33 It's just the two of them at home, you know?
04:35 And it's kind of nice.
04:37 We come together on Friday evening
04:39 and just spend some time singing and sharing testimony,
04:44 however the Lord leads.
04:46 And it's just nice to get together and share time.
04:50 That's right.
04:51 I was just thinking about
04:53 how it's a blessing to be able to...
04:56 You know, in the mornings, the things that I study,
04:59 I always feel like there's an opportunity
05:01 at some point during the day to share that.
05:02 And it's like, that's why, you know?
05:05 There's always something that God will lead me to
05:08 that I can share at some point during the day.
05:10 And I like those, you know,
05:12 gatherings like that where I can,
05:13 you know, like this is maybe that moment,
05:16 you know, when somebody needed that, so.
05:19 Definitely. Right word at the right time.
05:21 That's right. You never know.
05:22 When you're keeping something to yourself,
05:24 someone else may be in need of what you have to say.
05:27 And you don't get that opportunity
05:29 unless you invite people in and share.
05:32 Well, you know,
05:33 I just want to share the thought
05:36 that it's not always easy to just stop and be ready
05:41 to bring in the mood of worship
05:43 and have a group to worship
05:47 or take time to worship at the end of the day
05:50 because Friday, you are watching the time
05:54 because you want to keep the Sabbath holy.
05:56 So all the cooking, all the cleaning,
05:58 everything needs to be done.
06:00 And sometimes, you are...
06:02 If you have kids, you're like, "Oh, it's time already.
06:05 But, Lord, give me something to get me to break away,
06:10 you know, to free my mind
06:11 and bring it into a worship mode."
06:14 There are different ways of doing that.
06:16 And, of course, number one way is prayer.
06:19 So right now, Janelle, if you don't mind,
06:22 let's have a word of prayer.
06:24 Then we're gonna share some scripture
06:27 so you can feel the spirit
06:29 as it moves your heart to praise.
06:32 Yes.
06:33 Dear Heavenly Father, we thank You so much
06:36 for the gift of the Sabbath.
06:37 Thank You for sisters and brothers
06:39 to fellowship with.
06:41 Thank You for those out there that are seeking You.
06:44 I just pray that they would continue seeking Your truth.
06:48 And thank You now
06:49 for this opportunity to praise You.
06:52 And we invite Your Holy Spirit to be present.
06:54 In Jesus' name, amen.
06:56 Amen. Amen.
06:58 You know what, Idalia?
06:59 The Bible is very clear that the Lord not only made us
07:04 but the heavenly beings also to praise Him.
07:09 Yes. You know?
07:10 And we read that in Isaiah 6 where he says, you know,
07:13 they're continually saying,
07:15 "Holy, holy, the almighty."
07:16 Yes.
07:18 So we realize that
07:20 that's why we were made to praise Him, you know?
07:26 And that helps us as we go through different trials
07:30 because I feel that the enemy tries to tamper our praise.
07:36 And once he tempers are praise,
07:38 our whole continence and everything goes down.
07:43 The energy that could have been used for praise
07:45 is now used for negative.
07:47 Exactly, exactly.
07:49 Well, Janelle, you have Psalm 9:1.
07:52 Yes, I do. And let's share that.
07:55 "I will praise Thee, O Lord, with my whole heart,
07:59 I will shew forth all Thy marvelous works."
08:01 Amen.
08:04 And, Xenia?
08:05 Psalm 86:12, "I will praise You, O, my God,
08:10 with all my heart.
08:12 I will glorify Your name forevermore."
08:16 Amen, amen.
08:18 LaDonna.
08:20 Psalm 108:1, "I will praise You,
08:22 O Lord, among the peoples.
08:24 I will sing praises to you among the nations."
08:27 Amen, amen.
08:29 That is encouraging.
08:30 Each one of these texts are encouraging.
08:33 And our last verse
08:35 before we sing our song for this hour,
08:38 which is "Wonderful Life,"
08:40 we're going to ask Valera
08:41 to please read our last verse for now.
08:44 Okay, Psalm 146,
08:46 I'm going to read verses 1 and 2.
08:48 "Praise the Lord, praise the Lord, my soul.
08:51 While I live, I will praise the Lord.
08:54 I will sing praises to my God while I have my being."
08:57 Amen.
08:58 Now is that easy to do?
09:00 Are you in the mood
09:01 of praising the Lord constantly, everyday,
09:04 in the highs and lows of life?
09:07 Do you know... He wanted it, nice.
09:09 Yeah, exactly, you're right.
09:11 But, you know, don't worry about what happened this week,
09:14 it's passed us, and the Lord has blessed you
09:17 with another day.
09:19 You're completing a new day,
09:21 you are entering into a new day,
09:23 which is the Sabbath day, the day of praise and worship.
09:27 And, you know, there's a special,
09:30 special blessing when we keep the Sabbath.
09:33 But during these hours,
09:35 we're gonna just eat of God's Word
09:38 if I may say it like that because God's Word is life.
09:43 And, you know, the topic for today is...
09:47 The topic for today, I have it right here,
09:51 The Tongue,
09:52 The Power of The Tongue.
09:55 So are we using it for praise?
09:56 Are we using it for building up?
09:58 Of course, right away, you think,
10:00 "Oh, the power of the tongue is terrible."
10:02 You know, people cuttin' people, right?
10:04 Discourage people.
10:05 But today, we're gonna focus on building up each other
10:09 because we've had a rough week.
10:11 The Lord gave us victory.
10:13 The battle is the Lord's.
10:14 And here we are
10:16 sharing wonderful words of life.
10:27 Sing them over again to me
10:31 Wonderful words of life
10:35 Let me more of their beauty see
10:38 Wonderful words of life
10:43 Words of life and beauty
10:46 Teach me faith and duty
10:50 Beautiful words, wonderful words
10:54 Wonderful words of life
10:58 Beautiful words, wonderful words
11:02 Wonderful words of life
11:06 Christ the blessed One, gives to all
11:10 Wonderful words of life
11:13 Sinner, list to the loving call
11:17 Wonderful words of life
11:21 Oh, so freely given
11:25 Wooing us to heaven
11:29 Beautiful words, wonderful words
11:33 Wonderful words of life
11:37 Beautiful words, wonderful words
11:41 Wonderful words of life
11:45 Sweetly echo the Gospel call
11:49 Wonderful words of life
11:53 Offer pardon and peace to all
11:57 Wonderful words of life
12:01 Jesus, only Savior
12:05 Sanctify us forever
12:08 Beautiful words, wonderful words
12:12 Wonderful words of life
12:16 Beautiful words, wonderful words
12:20 Wonderful words of life
12:25 Amen. Beautiful words.
12:28 Thank you, Tim Parton,
12:30 for being with us and helping us out.
12:34 You know, it's a blessing
12:35 to be able to count on each other here
12:38 at the Family Worship.
12:41 Tim Parton, as you know,
12:42 he's the General Manager for the network Praise Him.
12:45 That is available.
12:47 Don't forget to download the app,
12:48 the 3ABN app,
12:50 where you can enjoy
12:52 all of the 3ABN ministry as a whole,
12:55 all the networks that are available
12:57 for you and for me.
12:59 How did you feel singing that song,
13:01 "Wonderful Words of Life?" It was a blessing to us.
13:03 Yes. Praise the Lord.
13:05 Psalms 126:2 says,
13:07 "Our mouths were filled with laughter,
13:10 our tongue with songs of joy,"
13:12 which I feel is what we just did.
13:14 Praise God.
13:16 I was like singing too
13:17 because it's like it brings that sense of unity,
13:19 you know, we're singing the same words together
13:21 and everybody has their own unique voice,
13:23 and it's like a unity.
13:24 Yes, that's right.
13:25 That will take us to Colossians 2:2, you know,
13:29 "That their hearts may be encouraged,
13:32 being knit together in love,
13:35 and attaining to all riches of the full assurance
13:38 of understanding to the knowledge
13:39 of the mystery of God, both of Father and of Christ."
13:43 You know, when we're knitting together,
13:45 we're getting together.
13:47 We never know, for example,
13:49 you don't plan a topic out
13:51 when you're inviting people over
13:53 because our experience this week
13:56 is different from each other, and different from last week.
14:00 It's incredible how Satan knows
14:03 how to throw those doubts, right, to discourage us.
14:07 I can tell you one thing.
14:08 This past week, I could have been very...
14:11 Well, I did get discouraged for, like, two hours,
14:15 and I said, "Lord, I need to break this.
14:18 I cannot give the devil the satisfaction of tearing me.
14:22 So I, in Jesus' name,
14:25 rebuke the devil and I will rejoice
14:28 in the presence of the Lord forevermore."
14:31 And the Lord was...
14:32 He just took that burden or darkness that I felt.
14:37 Now there has to be an effort.
14:39 We have to make an effort
14:40 because it's not gonna come by itself, you know?
14:46 True that somebody makes a keyword
14:48 or a song you might hear
14:50 that will snap you out of whatever condition we are.
14:53 But I just want to praise the Lord
14:55 that He put in me a spirit of praise,
14:59 a spirit of thanksgiving and of trusting this week.
15:03 So I don't know if you guys
15:04 have had that experience this week,
15:06 anything different or an answered prayer?
15:09 I find that when you're...
15:11 I'm discouraged or whatever.
15:14 If you put music
15:16 and start singing those praises to the Lord,
15:19 it's like your spirit just lifts up,
15:22 you know, it's something...
15:24 It may be because I'm a little musical
15:25 that that happens, but I mean, I feel that
15:29 it's not the same just reading the words
15:31 as to when you put them to music,
15:33 that there's something.
15:36 When you're down to the point
15:37 where you don't seem to have the energy
15:40 to be able to sing for yourself,
15:43 if you put on music, the uplifting music,
15:46 it can lift you up and give you that boost
15:49 that you need to get up
15:50 to where you can maybe join the singing.
15:52 That's right.
15:54 That's when we...
15:55 What comes to me is that God's Word
15:56 will not return to Him void.
15:58 You know, being spoken or be it a poem,
16:03 you know, that people,
16:05 that you might be able to hear or a song I mean...
16:09 At Babb's home,
16:11 they have new songs every month I think
16:14 because Danielle composes songs.
16:17 And it's amazing how the Lord has worked in her heart
16:22 and puts the words to song
16:24 that just touches every fiber in you.
16:27 So praise God for that. Amen.
16:29 Praise the Lord for the Babb family.
16:32 When we were talking about the vespers,
16:36 getting together at church, you know,
16:39 I remember it started in the pavilion, outdoors
16:42 because the weather was, you know, weather-friendly.
16:45 It allowed us to be out there, allowed you guys.
16:48 And then eventually, we had our car accident.
16:51 And I was so blessed when they called and said,
16:54 "Would you like for us to do vespers
16:56 in the apartment where you're staying?"
16:58 So...
17:00 What a blessing that was.
17:01 I always look forward to Friday night
17:04 because we were gonna be together.
17:07 Amen. We were not gonna be alone.
17:10 There may be someone that has felt,
17:12 maybe going through a loss of a spouse or something
17:15 that they're feeling alone or forgotten,
17:18 you know, you're not forgotten, you are in our prayers.
17:23 Even if we don't know you personally,
17:25 but the love of God moves our hearts
17:28 to intercede for you in prayer.
17:32 So through this program,
17:33 we are interceding and bringing you encouragement
17:38 as we share what God has done in our lives.
17:41 One of the things that I...
17:43 You know, so many things that we could share
17:45 about this topic, about the tongue, right?
17:48 But one of the ones that I wanted to share
17:50 is about the...
17:52 When there was a storm
17:54 in Mark 4:35-41.
17:59 Yeah, you probably thought
18:01 I was gonna take a story of the Bible
18:03 with women in it, but I...
18:06 You know, there's so much to share.
18:10 But anyhow, this one,
18:12 I can identify myself with this story.
18:17 So I am...
18:18 How about if we just divide it up?
18:20 You guys read two, two, two, and two.
18:26 LaDonna, you can start.
18:27 Mark 4:35-41.
18:32 Mark 4:35-41.
18:35 "On the same day, when evening had come,
18:38 He said to them,
18:39 'Let us cross over to the other side.'
18:41 Now when they had left the multitude,
18:43 they took Him along in the boat as He was.
18:46 And on the other," sorry.
18:49 "And the other little boats were also with Him.
18:52 And a great windstorm arose,
18:54 and the waves beat into the boat,
18:57 so that it was already filled."
18:58 Thank you.
18:59 Okay, and number 38.
19:02 "Jesus was in the stern, sleeping on a cushion.
19:06 The disciples woke Him and said to Him,
19:09 'Teacher, don't You care if we drown?'"
19:14 "Then He arose and rebuked the wind,
19:16 and said unto the sea, 'Peace, be still!'
19:20 And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm."
19:24 "But He said to them, 'Why are you so fearful?
19:27 How is it that you have no faith?'"
19:31 "They were terrified and asked each other,
19:34 'Who is this?'
19:36 Even the winds and the waves obey Him!'"
19:40 Well, these are the disciples that knew Jesus, right?
19:43 They were with Jesus, they walked with Jesus.
19:46 So they see or they felt perhaps alone and abandoned
19:51 because they forgot,
19:52 "Okay, Jesus is in the boat with us.
19:54 We're going through this storm."
19:56 And what provokes me
19:58 to apply this to my personal life
20:00 is that we have assurance in life.
20:03 And sometimes, we become blinded
20:04 by the big waves that are coming.
20:06 It's like,
20:08 "I'm not gonna survive this one.
20:09 I know how to swim, but I'll run out of breath
20:11 under the water," you know,
20:12 when you're going under.
20:14 But it's like there that they went to Jesus,
20:19 "Teacher, don't you care if we drown?"
20:22 It's like, "Lord, don't you care
20:23 that I'm going through this?
20:24 Please take care of it. Get it out of me.
20:27 Get it out of my life."
20:28 But He got up and He rebuked the wind
20:31 and said to the waves, "Quiet, be still."
20:34 He also tells us to be quiet and be still.
20:38 And know that, what? He is God.
20:40 That I am God. Yes.
20:42 And when we enter into the presence of God,
20:45 we see His strength, His greatness.
20:48 When we're weak, He meant He's strong.
20:52 So anyway, I don't know if this story gives you chills,
20:56 but I have goosebumps all over me,
20:58 just contemplating the greatness of this.
21:00 Just rereading Mark 4:40, where He says,
21:03 "Why are you so fearful?
21:04 How is it that you have no faith?"
21:06 Yeah.
21:07 And He wasn't, you know...
21:09 Jesus never said anything rudely,
21:11 but, you know, we could read that
21:13 and take it the wrong way
21:15 or, at least, I could.
21:16 And like, He was getting them to try to reflect
21:20 on their own fears,
21:22 and why they had fears, like, "Why don't you trust Me?"
21:24 You know?
21:26 "Yes. I'm here. I am He."
21:28 Anyone else have any comments towards the story?
21:32 I know that when I'm raising my kids...
21:36 They're old now,
21:37 but they will also have their own fears.
21:40 They're old. They're older.
21:41 They're older.
21:44 You know, once they start walking...
21:45 No, I'm just kidding.
21:47 But I remember that there was a big bull
21:52 in front of our house.
21:53 My neighbor's bull got loose.
21:56 Oh, my.
21:57 And he had these big horns.
22:00 And Samuel was by the door.
22:04 He said, "Mommy! Mommy!
22:06 There's a bull outside."
22:07 I'm like, "It's okay. It's okay."
22:09 I thought it was inside the fence
22:11 and across the street.
22:13 But he said, "Mommy, Mommy!
22:15 There is a bull."
22:16 And I ran over there.
22:18 "Okay, son."
22:19 And it was looking towards our house.
22:22 It's like, "Is he gonna come this way?"
22:24 You know, you just...
22:26 I know nothing about bulls.
22:27 But anyway, it was very scary.
22:31 Even I got scared.
22:33 And I said, "Samuel, it's okay.
22:36 Let's pray."
22:37 And when as soon as we were done praying,
22:40 the bull made an about-face
22:42 and he left the other direction.
22:44 Wow. Praise the Lord. So praise the Lord.
22:46 Yes.
22:48 So we didn't feed on the fear, we spoke about...
22:52 With God, all things are possible. Amen
22:54 We are safe in the hands of the Lord.
22:57 Sometimes, we have
22:58 those kind of moments in our lives
23:02 that we wish the Lord would come
23:05 and say, "Be still, be quiet.
23:07 Go away, calm the whole situation."
23:10 But we have to invite Him to do that.
23:12 Yes. That's right.
23:14 We have to go call Him like they went to call Him.
23:17 Sometimes, God calms the storm.
23:19 Yes.
23:20 And sometimes, He walks through the storm.
23:23 Oh, I'm so glad you brought that up. Yes.
23:25 Think of the three Hebrews in the fiery furnace.
23:29 He could have prevented them from being thrown in there.
23:32 That's true.
23:33 But in that case,
23:35 He chose to go through it with them.
23:37 Yes.
23:38 And they we're... You know, He was in that.
23:40 So even though we are facing storms
23:43 and we're saying, "God, take it away,"
23:46 maybe this is the time you need to go through it,
23:50 maybe there's something that we need to learn
23:53 to rely on Him more.
23:57 Have faith.
23:58 Or maybe it's like gold being purified in the fire,
24:02 maybe there's something
24:03 that needs to be burned off of us,
24:04 you know, like with the Hebrews,
24:06 they went in the fire,
24:07 their ropes that they were bound with were burned off.
24:11 But that was all.
24:12 I'll just piggyback off of what you're saying,
24:14 and thank you for saying that because,
24:16 you know, I feel like God's prodding me to share this.
24:18 Amen. Yeah.
24:19 So recently, we've had an issue with our house
24:22 that's been for sale for a while,
24:24 and came really close to selling it,
24:27 but it didn't happen.
24:28 And so that's been a major test of faith.
24:32 Yes. Yeah.
24:34 Those major tests of faith help us to even trust more.
24:36 Yeah.
24:38 Even when we feel like, "Lord,
24:39 I don't know if I trust you all the way,"
24:41 but then He comes and say, "Come here, my daughter.
24:44 I have greater plans.
24:47 You have no idea what I'm about to do with you.
24:50 It takes time, right?"
24:51 Yes.
24:53 In His time.
24:54 Yeah, in His time.
24:55 In His time, that's right.
24:57 Ecclesiastes 3 talks about everything happens in its time.
25:00 That's right.
25:02 Any other comment about this story here?
25:06 Okay.
25:07 Well, this story, like I showed you
25:10 or wanted to illustrate to you that we need Jesus.
25:14 Amen.
25:15 But then I was taken to Matthew 26:36-46.
25:20 And I was amazed.
25:23 I mean, okay, we've read this so many times before,
25:27 but until we are in a condition or, you know,
25:31 going through a trial or an experience in life,
25:34 it doesn't necessarily have to be a trial.
25:37 But, you know, to celebrate something,
25:39 you want to celebrate
25:41 with somebody else too, you know?
25:42 And sometimes, we're like,
25:43 "Well, we don't have anybody to celebrate.
25:45 Well, I wish I had somebody."
25:46 But here, I look at this story
25:52 that Jesus
25:53 needed or wanted to support, the moral support
25:57 of the disciples that He invited with Him.
25:59 So we'll start this way with Valera, two verses each.
26:04 Okay.
26:05 So Matthew 26, we're starting with...
26:08 Verse 36.
26:09 Verse 36, okay.
26:13 "Then Jesus came with them to a place called Gethsemane,
26:16 and said to the disciples,
26:18 'Sit here while I go and pray over there.'
26:21 And He took with Him Peter and the two sons of Zebedee,
26:26 and He began to be sorrowful and deeply distressed."
26:30 "Then sayeth He unto them,
26:32 'My soul is exceeding sorrowful,
26:34 even unto death.
26:35 Tarry ye here, and watch with Me.'
26:38 And He went a little farther and fell on His face,
26:41 and prayed, saying,
26:43 'O My Father, if it be possible,
26:45 let this cup pass from Me, nevertheless not as I will,
26:50 but as Thou wilt.'"
26:53 "He went away the second time and prayed,
26:56 'My Father,
26:57 if it's not possible for this cup to be taken away
27:01 unless I drink it, may Your will be done.'
27:04 When He came back, He again found them sleeping
27:08 because their eyes were heavy."
27:10 Okay, let's go back to that one in a second.
27:14 LaDonna, would you please read 40 and 41?
27:17 Sure.
27:18 "Then He returned to His disciples
27:19 and He found them sleeping,
27:21 'Couldn't you men keep watch with Me for one hour,'
27:24 He asked Peter."
27:25 One hour.
27:27 "Watch and pray
27:28 so that you will not fall into temptation.
27:30 The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak."
27:32 Yes.
27:33 Weak.
27:35 We can relate to that. And then...
27:36 Oh, yes, that's right.
27:38 And then Matthew 26:42-43, read it again.
27:40 Read it again? Yes.
27:42 "He went away the second time and prayed,
27:45 'My Father,
27:46 if it's not possible for this cup to be taken away
27:49 unless I drink it, may Your will be done.'
27:54 When He came back, He again found them sleeping
27:58 because their eyes were heavy."
28:01 "So He left them, and went away once more,
28:04 and prayed the third time, saying the same thing.
28:08 Then He returned to the disciples
28:09 and said to them,
28:11 'Are you still sleeping and resting?
28:13 Look, the hour has come,
28:15 and the Son of Man is delivered into the hands of sinners.
28:21 Rise, let us go.
28:23 Here comes my betrayer.'"
28:25 It's a sad story, but it's a love story as well
28:32 because Jesus didn't walk away.
28:34 He pleaded with the Lord, right?
28:37 He pleaded with the Lord.
28:38 And in that,
28:39 He asked His friends to, "Please pray.
28:44 Stand and watch and pray."
28:46 Do you need me to pray for you today?
28:49 Do you need us to pray for you today?
28:52 Praise the Lord that
28:54 we have the pastoral department,
28:55 and our prayer line
28:59 and the prayer warriors
29:01 that are thousands in different countries
29:03 that pull together and pray with you.
29:06 So I see that Jesus was...
29:09 not that He didn't have the help of the God the Father
29:12 because He did, all of heaven.
29:15 But He showed the need of...
29:18 Right, calling on friends.
29:20 Exactly, exactly.
29:22 So have you experienced something like this
29:25 when you had to call somebody and say, "Pray for me?"
29:27 Well, this was Jesus' humanity.
29:29 Sure. Yes. Exactly.
29:31 I mean, you know, we're told that
29:33 He has gone through everything that we go through.
29:35 Yes.
29:36 So this, you know, when you're down,
29:37 and you feel abandoned, you're not alone.
29:40 Jesus went through it too, and He experienced
29:44 His friends not necessarily being there for Him.
29:47 But He turned to His Father,
29:50 and we have that same opportunity.
29:54 I want to point out too what I get from this
29:56 is Jesus knew the outcome.
29:59 Yes.
30:00 He knew the outcome, but He still fervently prayed.
30:04 He still reached out to the Father.
30:06 You know, there's still that hope within Him going,
30:09 "If this can be taken, take it.
30:12 If it's not, let Your will be done."
30:14 And He still called on His friends,
30:15 "Pray for Me, pray for Me."
30:17 It was a faith building opportunity
30:19 for the disciples, I believe, you know?
30:21 "Pray for Me," 'cause Jesus knew the outcome.
30:23 But He still showed the faith, and the prayer, and the hope.
30:27 That is a reminder to all of us in our moments of weakness.
30:30 Oh, we have a moment of weakness.
30:33 I'm reminded of the song that's in our hymnals, it says,
30:37 "I want my friends to pray for me."
30:39 Oh, really?
30:42 And it's so important because, sometimes, we're down,
30:45 and the pressure is so much
30:49 that we can't even utter the words.
30:52 And it's so important to have friends to call.
30:54 That's why these groups is important
30:56 because you can vocalize it.
30:59 Yes.
31:00 And then people can surround you
31:02 and pray for you.
31:03 Or you can make that phone call,
31:05 and people will pray for you on the phone, you know?
31:09 And it's important that when they call us,
31:11 maybe we're not the one going through it,
31:13 but when somebody reaches out to us
31:17 that we are available.
31:18 Amen. Amen. Amen.
31:20 Well, it may be that during the week,
31:23 you know, you've had such a heavy week,
31:26 but, you know, you've been busy.
31:28 Not necessarily negative week because I am...
31:32 God is so good and so merciful
31:35 that He fills our life with plenty.
31:38 So we have our challenges, we have our ups and downs,
31:41 but, you know, it's more highs and downs,
31:43 right?
31:45 And when we speak the word, it's like,
31:47 "Okay, Lord, I will call on the Lord
31:50 in my distress, and He answers me.
31:54 Save me, O Lord from lying lips,
31:58 from the sinful tongues."
32:01 So I was just reading in Psalm 120,
32:04 but there are different texts in the Bible, His word,
32:10 that describes exactly how we're feeling.
32:12 It's like, "Wow, that couldn't be
32:14 more designed for me."
32:15 And, you know, something I've been thinking about lately
32:18 is the promises.
32:19 I was, you know, looking through this little bitty book
32:21 I had of promises.
32:23 It's like, it's really thin, and it's interesting.
32:27 Actually, ended up getting a gift
32:28 like two days later from someone
32:32 for the women's ministries at our church,
32:34 and it was a book of promises.
32:36 But promises, I'm like I know
32:37 that God saw me focused on my promises.
32:39 Amen. Yes.
32:40 You know, and that's another way
32:42 of the praise, you know,
32:43 the praises we're talking about earlier
32:44 is, you know, those promises.
32:46 Amen. Amen.
32:47 Does anyone have a text they want to share?
32:51 I know that the word of God is life,
32:55 and you may not have memorized it.
32:57 And I grew up in attending Spanish-speaking congregations,
33:02 and so when I memorize the text,
33:04 it was back then in Spanish.
33:06 And then now is Spanglish in my...
33:09 It's like, Oh, it says, "Yada, yada."
33:12 But in looking at God's Word in Colossians 4:2, it says,
33:18 "To continue in prayer,
33:21 and watch the same with thanksgiving..."
33:25 Continue in prayer,
33:26 doesn't matter what we're going through,
33:28 keep praying.
33:31 I know, I kind of was trying not to touch
33:35 on the latest events
33:39 in my life.
33:42 Well, as you know, we had a car accident
33:45 that almost claimed our life.
33:46 And it's interesting how God's Word,
33:50 even when I could not talk,
33:52 but my mind was going, and going, and going.
33:56 And I felt alone because I mean, my mind is...
34:00 I'm alert, but I couldn't say anything,
34:04 I was really down and out.
34:07 And it was just me and God, God and me, just the two of us.
34:12 And I said, "Lord, You are powerful.
34:17 Don't leave me like this.
34:19 You know, Satan wants me to stay like this,
34:22 and Satan wants me to die.
34:24 But if it's your will, Lord,"
34:27 then again, that prayer, "Fits Your will,
34:31 just take me out of this dark situation
34:33 that I'm in.
34:36 But if it's Your will for me
34:38 to fall asleep in Jesus, happily,
34:42 because I know that God will take care of my family,
34:46 and the next face I'm gonna see is Jesus."
34:49 So clinging to His word, and clinging to His promises,
34:53 and recognizing His presence.
34:57 Wow, it's like He hugs you from head to toe.
34:59 Yes.
35:01 You know, the Bible says, "Run into His presence
35:03 with thanksgiving in your heart."
35:05 Yes, yes, amen. Yeah.
35:07 So that's my strength.
35:09 Yes, so we have a prayer without ceasing.
35:12 Rejoice evermore, and it says in Psalm 50:14-15,
35:19 "Offer unto God thanksgiving,
35:20 and pay thy vows onto the most high,
35:23 and call upon Me in the day of trouble.
35:25 I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me."
35:30 So the Lord is waiting to deliver you, just ask.
35:33 He said, "Gentlemen..."
35:35 Give Him the opportunity to work in your life
35:38 and reveal or manifest His power
35:40 over your life.
35:41 Amen.
35:43 Anyone else has a text that they might wanna share?
35:46 Well, I was gonna go back to in Gethsemane,
35:49 when Jesus came back to the disciples and He said,
35:52 "Pray that you may not enter into temptation."
35:56 And to me, that is not only a command,
35:57 but a promise.
35:59 Amen.
36:00 You know, if we are in prayer, it keeps the devil at bay.
36:05 Amen. I mean, you know?
36:06 So if we're focusing on Jesus and,
36:12 you know, keeping that prayerful attitude,
36:16 then the darts that Satan throws at us
36:18 are gonna be repelled.
36:20 I mean, not to say we're not gonna go through things,
36:22 but we're gonna feel God's presence
36:25 shielding us in through that.
36:27 Amen. Amen.
36:29 Okay, anybody else has a comment
36:31 or a Bible text to share?
36:35 When we choose to use our tongues
36:38 for construction or edifying,
36:43 we have to learn what to say to others.
36:47 And right now,
36:49 I know you ladies were not expecting this,
36:51 but we have put names in here.
36:55 First, I'm gonna pass this around
36:57 so you guys can take a name
36:59 and then I'll tell you what we're gonna do.
37:03 All right, right this way. I can ask questions later.
37:07 Can we look? Oh.
37:09 No, you cannot look. Uh-oh.
37:11 Well, you are first because you looked.
37:14 It's me. It's you?
37:17 Change with another person.
37:18 Now we know who you have.
37:21 I haven't looked at it. Okay.
37:22 What we're gonna do is just a simple example.
37:27 When you gather at church,
37:30 there are so many people that come
37:32 seeking to be filled with the word.
37:37 And I truly believe
37:39 that we women have a gift to nurture.
37:44 And sometimes, just one word or something encouraging
37:49 we can share with a person, and we don't even plan it.
37:53 It just comes.
37:55 I call those divine appointments.
37:57 So don't stay home from church.
38:01 If you have to, you have to, of course.
38:03 But I just wanna encourage you
38:06 that the Lord has given you a special something
38:11 to share with others.
38:13 So right now, Janelle, what you're going to do,
38:15 you are going to open your...
38:17 Oh, we already know who you have.
38:19 Okay,
38:20 so you're gonna share something
38:22 you treasure about the person you've got.
38:25 Well, Valera. Valera.
38:27 Valera is right here. Yes.
38:30 And what I treasure about Valera,
38:32 she's always smiling, and always positive,
38:35 and just has a really joyful spirit.
38:37 And your whole family
38:39 is just using their gifts for God,
38:41 and I appreciate that about you and your family.
38:45 Amen.
38:46 We too, we too.
38:48 All right, well, popcorn, now your turn.
38:52 LaDonna, who do you have?
38:54 I have my friend Xenia. Xenia.
38:57 There are so many things I like about Xenia.
38:59 Keep it short.
39:00 Okay, top 10. Just kidding.
39:05 Xenia is always there for me
39:10 even when I don't know that she is,
39:12 she's there for me.
39:14 She's got a kind spirit. Amen.
39:17 She's dependable. Amen.
39:21 I struggle with panic disorder sometimes,
39:23 and she's had to literally meet me
39:25 in the parking lot and park my car.
39:27 And she's always there, always there.
39:31 Thank you. You're welcome.
39:32 Amen. Very good.
39:34 Well, Xenia, you better go.
39:36 Oh, my God.
39:39 I'm not ready.
39:40 Oh, well, I have LaDonna.
39:43 Oh, amen.
39:46 I have my friend LaDonna.
39:49 And I really appreciate her.
39:51 She has a happy spirit. Yes.
39:54 You know, no matter what she's going through,
39:56 her face doesn't reflect it.
39:59 Praise the Lord.
40:00 She has scripture in her mouth, in her lips,
40:05 and so I really appreciate that.
40:07 Like was still with us.
40:09 Praise God, praise God.
40:11 Well, I guess, after Janelle, I should have said Valera
40:14 'cause she picked your name, but you go ahead and go.
40:19 All right, I have Idalia.
40:21 Oh, wow. I love you.
40:24 You're my friend.
40:28 You know, when we first moved here,
40:32 we moved 2,200 miles away from family.
40:36 At Christmas time, and I was...
40:42 Both my husband and I are really close to our family.
40:45 And we came and Idalia and a few of the others
40:49 were just welcomed us.
40:50 And it made it so...
40:52 We didn't get homesick. Wow, praise the Lord.
40:56 Then I start feeling guilty 'cause I wasn't homesick
40:58 because I was welcomed into this family so much here.
41:01 And, you know, and that friendship
41:02 has never stopped.
41:04 I really appreciate that.
41:05 I know that I can call on Idalia
41:06 for anything.
41:08 Likewise.
41:09 And she's there, and her family.
41:11 They are always a support for my family.
41:13 Amen. Amen.
41:15 We know who you have.
41:17 Guess who I have?
41:19 Janelle.
41:23 Wow, what can I say about Janelle
41:25 that I appreciate?
41:29 Really, it's a blessing that you are tender,
41:33 you are kind, and you're not...
41:39 Whenever I have an issue or, you know, need help,
41:43 you're just calm, you're calm.
41:46 Well, we can work on that.
41:48 Yes, we'll see what we can do.
41:50 Sure, no problem.
41:52 And when they can't be done, it can't be done.
41:56 And when it can, you're always there.
42:00 So I thank you for that.
42:02 You and your husband...
42:04 Oh, it's incredible how these two work.
42:07 And I love your testimony
42:09 that you have pulled together to...
42:13 Once the Lord have worked in your life
42:16 and mended your life,
42:17 that your passion is to mend other broken people.
42:20 Yes.
42:21 And that's what we need, that's what I need.
42:24 So praise God.
42:25 Who has not been blessed by each other here?
42:28 Right?
42:30 So I don't know where you folks work,
42:33 but it sure is beautiful
42:35 to be able to work with people who love the Lord.
42:39 And you know what, it's not about us,
42:42 it's about God in us that helps us
42:45 to do His will, right?
42:46 Amen.
42:48 And His will is for us to speak life
42:50 into each other's lives.
42:52 So I rejoice in that promise
42:55 that the words of the Lord is not gonna return void.
42:58 Amen.
43:00 You know, sometimes,
43:01 especially when we come to church,
43:03 and we should encourage everyone
43:05 to come to church no matter how you're feeling.
43:08 And sometimes, you just sit there
43:11 with a heavy heart.
43:12 Yes.
43:13 Just to have somebody else come and talk to you,
43:16 and put their arm around you,
43:19 I mean, they don't have to ask you
43:20 what's wrong with you,
43:22 they don't have to do anything.
43:23 Right. Just that special thought.
43:27 And I think, women are very perceptive
43:29 about these things.
43:30 You can pick up when somebody's going through something
43:34 and just to sit there with them,
43:37 and hug them or, you know, give them a smile
43:40 'cause, sometimes, people are shy
43:42 about those things,
43:44 but you are perceptive about it.
43:46 Sometimes, the best kind of support
43:47 is to just come and put your arm around someone
43:49 and just sit there with them.
43:51 I mean, sometimes,
43:53 we can mess things up by the things we say.
43:54 Exactly.
43:56 So just sitting there, it gives them opportunity
43:57 to talk if they want to.
43:58 Yes, yes.
44:00 I remember when Valera came, and she reminds me of the story
44:05 because, you know, my memory is not that good anymore,
44:08 but she was so shy.
44:11 She was so shy.
44:13 Oh, yeah, there's no way I could have done this.
44:15 I would be in tears if I did speak.
44:18 Literally, I mean, it's no joke.
44:20 Sitting around a table
44:22 and just discussing with people,
44:25 I would literally tear up and not be able to speak.
44:29 God has really brought her a long way.
44:31 Yes, yes. Thanks to her.
44:32 The Lord is good.
44:35 There's somebody pushing you along that.
44:37 Yes, you did.
44:39 I didn't know what I told her.
44:41 We were doing our church directory.
44:44 There was a church directory,
44:46 and I said, "Well, I can do that.
44:47 I can do that on my computer."
44:49 And I said, "But you have to go upfront
44:50 and make the announcement, I'll do everything else,"
44:53 I said, "'Cause I don't speak upfront."
44:54 She grabs me by the hand, she says, "You do now,
44:57 and she pulled me up."
45:01 And, you know, with God's grace,
45:03 I still don't enjoy being upfront, you know.
45:06 Yes.
45:07 You know, she's one of our leaders now
45:09 in the church.
45:11 So just manage each other in the Lord, right?
45:13 Colossians 3:16, "Let the word of Christ
45:16 dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching,
45:20 and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns,
45:23 and spiritual songs, singing with grace
45:26 in your hearts to the Lord."
45:28 And she plays the flute,
45:29 and she joins in the praise team.
45:32 Valera was one that she was always willing to do
45:36 behind-the-scenes stuff,
45:38 but it's been a blessing to see her grow
45:41 in ministry at the church.
45:43 So anymore words that you guys would like to share, ladies?
45:47 I have something that...
45:49 You know, when you told us the topic
45:51 was about the power of the tongue,
45:54 it's interesting the directions that we've been going,
45:56 but it's all about, you know, our attitude,
45:58 and our, you know, how we, like, God use us.
46:00 Yes.
46:02 And this little thing I saw, I think,
46:04 probably a while back on Facebook,
46:06 but it's called think, think before you speak.
46:09 You guys have probably seen this,
46:10 and it's an acronym.
46:12 And so is it true, the T, is it helpful?
46:17 Is it important?
46:18 Is it necessary?
46:20 Is it kind?
46:21 And, you know, I think about this sometimes
46:24 that do I actually pause before I speak
46:29 and ask would this be edifying to somebody
46:32 or any of these things that were mentioned,
46:34 true, helpful, important, necessary, or kind.
46:38 And I think that, you know,
46:39 I definitely need to be more aware
46:42 of the words that I speak and even think
46:45 because, you know, out of the heart,
46:47 the mouth speaks.
46:48 But if it comes out of the heart
46:50 and doesn't go out, it's still there,
46:51 you know, it's just not spoken.
46:54 But I want those thoughts
46:55 to even, you know, be edifying, so.
46:59 Yes, definitely,
47:00 we can think ourselves into very negative,
47:06 depressing condition or we can speak to ourselves,
47:12 you know, speak life into our lives.
47:14 The tongue is very evil, you know,
47:19 if we're not letting it be used by the Lord.
47:23 And I'm not saying that I have never complained
47:26 or, you know, said something inappropriate.
47:29 Yes, I have, many times,
47:30 and many times have I repented of it.
47:33 And yes.
47:34 Now I remember, recently,
47:36 I was just sitting there reading my Bible,
47:39 and it's like the spirit of the Lord
47:41 moved in my veins.
47:44 I was so filled with God's presence.
47:46 I was so happy, just like,
47:48 "Oh, thank you, Jesus, for just being You,
47:51 for loving me, for accepting me.
47:54 And thank You, Lord, that You are willing
47:57 to take all this darkness out of me.
48:00 Let me not forget that.
48:01 'Thy word is a lamp unto my feet.'
48:03 I don't have to walk in darkness."
48:05 So anyhow, I just want to invite everyone
48:08 to walk in His Word
48:11 because it is light unto your feet.
48:13 And it's incredible
48:16 how the Lord works in your hearts, in your mind,
48:18 and then you can minister to others.
48:21 Another thing, we're talking about encouraging other people
48:24 and what we're saying to other people,
48:26 and we neglect ourselves because we are down,
48:30 and we can...
48:31 Bring the beautiful smile and tell her,
48:34 "Oh, wonderful things.
48:35 The Lord Jesus loves you."
48:38 And here I am and it doesn't sink in.
48:41 We need to talk to ourselves also positively.
48:44 Yes, yes, that's right.
48:46 How to encourage.
48:51 Yes. Yes, right.
48:54 Anybody else have something to say
48:56 because we are going to...
48:58 What it says to do is to pray for one another.
49:03 So there's a short time on the clock left
49:05 and we just want to make sure
49:07 that we get some time of prayer.
49:09 And there are many people there
49:12 whose hearts are just filled with praise and thanksgiving,
49:18 and others are not feeling that happy at this hour.
49:23 But I want you to know that there's joy in the Lord,
49:27 the joy of the Lord is our strength.
49:29 Amen.
49:30 So we are to trust His Word because He will fulfill it.
49:34 He is not like our fathers
49:37 that used to promise and never fulfill the promise.
49:40 He is our eternal God, our creator, Father.
49:44 And so when we walk into His presence,
49:48 life changes, the environment, the atmosphere changes.
49:53 And it is a delight to walk into the presence of the Lord.
49:58 And it's a delight to invite His presence
50:01 into our lives, into our homes.
50:03 And you know what,
50:05 it's also a delight to pray for each other.
50:06 Amen.
50:08 It is, to hold each other up in prayer.
50:10 So I don't know what your struggles were,
50:13 but I want you to start speaking life
50:16 into your life,
50:17 God's Word.
50:19 I would like to pray for those people
50:21 that are suffering physically.
50:28 Ill?
50:29 Ill, okay. For the sick.
50:32 All right.
50:33 Who else is gonna pray?
50:36 Who would you like to pray for?
50:38 I'm thinking of some family members
50:42 that just are my heart.
50:44 Family members, okay.
50:47 Okay. LaDonna.
50:49 You think of physical sickness, I also think of things
50:53 that could be going on mentally and emotionally
50:55 that people don't see.
50:56 Okay.
50:58 And the emotional, yes.
51:00 That is so easily hidden because it's not obvious.
51:04 Put on a smiley mask and nobody knows
51:07 what's really going on.
51:08 Yes. I've been guilty of that.
51:10 I'm not gonna go back into my life,
51:15 but, you know,
51:16 there's been some very dark moments in my life.
51:19 And I mean I'm always smiling anyway,
51:23 but there are times that I just don't wanna smile.
51:26 I'm like, "Oh, Lord, put on the happy face
51:29 because I don't want to, you know, draw attention."
51:31 But inside, I'm drying up like a prune or a raisin.
51:36 So, Valera, who are you gonna pray for?
51:38 I wanna pray for those that are suffering
51:42 from loss of family or loved ones.
51:45 Okay. The grieving? Grieving.
51:47 The people that are grieving.
51:48 I know several friends
51:50 who have lost their loved ones recently,
51:52 and parents and children.
51:56 It's not easy.
51:58 Well, I would like to pray for our viewers
52:03 who are alone for the...
52:07 I don't want to classify it necessarily
52:10 for the lonely.
52:12 You're alone, you're by yourself,
52:14 and you want the Lord to use you.
52:16 And perhaps, you want to reach out to somebody else
52:20 within your congregation, and you don't know how.
52:24 You know, just gather the people
52:25 around your table and say,
52:27 "Hey, I don't know how to do this, but how about
52:30 if we start this way or that way," right?
52:32 So I think that in the order that we're seated, LaDonna,
52:36 you're gonna be praying for the mental emotional.
52:40 And Xenia, for the sick, and Janelle, family,
52:45 Valera, for the grieving, and I will end for the lonely.
52:50 Let's pray.
52:52 Dear Heavenly Father, Lord, first, I wanna thank You
52:54 for Your goodness and mercy that You renew to us every day.
52:57 God, we thank You for being with this program
52:59 as we bring in the Sabbath,
53:01 God, for the time that was shared in fellowship,
53:03 Lord, we're so grateful.
53:05 Lord, right now, we come before Your throne
53:06 and we pray for those, God, that are struggling internally,
53:10 Lord, things that people can't see,
53:12 but the battles that rage in our minds and in our hearts.
53:15 Lord, I lift these people to You, Lord.
53:17 I pray, God, that You can reach down
53:19 deep inside of them, God,
53:21 and lift them up from a place of miry clay
53:24 into Your glorious light, Lord.
53:26 What better place to be
53:28 than to be held in Your arms, Lord,
53:30 with Your protection and Your strength
53:32 drawing us up, God.
53:33 I just pray right now that those who are struggling
53:36 that are watching this program,
53:38 God, You have a way of tuning people in
53:40 when they didn't even know that 3ABN existed, God.
53:43 This word is falling on ears that You have prepared, God.
53:46 And I pray that they open up their hearts
53:49 to claim Your promises, Lord, God,
53:51 to open up Your word and to cling
53:53 to what you have inside of it for us, God.
53:56 We trust You, Lord, with our lives.
53:58 And we thank You, God, that we know
54:00 You have never left us,
54:01 You've never forsaken us, and we are never alone, God.
54:04 We trust You with all these things.
54:08 And Heavenly Father, we also want to pray
54:10 for those people that are suffering pain,
54:13 and there's ill, for many illness.
54:17 And they could be in the hospital,
54:19 maybe they're at home,
54:21 maybe they're in a nursing home,
54:22 we don't know, Lord.
54:24 But You know them, and You know their hearts,
54:27 and You know their sorrows.
54:29 And we ask in a special way
54:31 that You put Your arms around them
54:33 that they might feel Your presence.
54:35 I ask you to lift them up in spirit,
54:38 and that their pain may be lessened.
54:44 Heavenly Father, I also want to thank You
54:47 for this time we've had this evening.
54:49 I thank You for the privilege of prayer.
54:51 Thank You for sisters to fellowship
54:53 with at this table,
54:54 and brothers and sisters out in the world
54:56 that are watching this that we have that privilege
54:59 to bring Your Word to them and encourage them.
55:03 I want to lift up the families right now, Lord, we all...
55:05 Everyone at this table and everyone out there
55:07 has someone that...
55:10 The Holy Spirit will put on their hearts to pray for,
55:16 either family members that are lost
55:18 or those that are seeking, they just can't find their way.
55:22 I just pray You would give them
55:26 a special measure of Your Holy Spirit
55:27 that they would continue seeking You.
55:30 And when they have that,
55:31 they can share that with others.
55:35 Father, again, I want to thank You
55:38 for the privilege we have of coming before You
55:40 and bringing our petitions before You,
55:43 and knowing that You are there,
55:45 and that You feel each hurt.
55:48 And I want to pray special for those people
55:50 that are grieving today.
55:54 Some have lost parents, some have lost children,
55:58 or aunts or uncles
56:00 or just loved ones, close friends.
56:02 Lord, the pain and the agony that that brings them,
56:07 and I just pray that You will allow them
56:10 to feel Your presence around them
56:12 that they will turn to You and know
56:14 that You give them comfort,
56:16 and that You will slowly and just let them rest
56:22 in Your arms of comfort
56:24 and know that You were there
56:25 and that You have gone through that
56:28 You have watched Your son die for us.
56:31 And You're willing to go through that
56:32 because of Your great love for us.
56:35 So You know what we are going through.
56:37 And we just thank You for giving us that comfort.
56:40 And for being there, and hearing,
56:42 and answering our prayers.
56:44 Thank You, thank You, Father, for you are God, almighty,
56:49 our Father, our Abba, our daddy.
56:51 Thank you, Lord,
56:52 that You watch over us continually.
56:56 You never sleep nor slumber.
56:58 Thank you, Father, that You are merciful,
57:04 and You're ever present in the time of trouble.
57:08 Thank You that Yours is the battle's
57:10 and ours is the victory through Christ Jesus.
57:14 Lord, there are so many thoughts,
57:16 and needs, and praises
57:18 that come to our hearts right now,
57:20 but we want to pray for the people
57:23 who are alone at home,
57:25 who would like to minister to others and bring in Sabbath
57:30 and have such a special Sabbath experience with You.
57:33 I pray, Lord, that You will help them
57:35 to continue to walk in the way that You have for them.
57:40 Use us all, Lord, to touch each other's lives
57:43 and bring life and encouragement
57:46 as we walk these days here on earth.
57:49 We thank You for Your faithfulness,
57:50 and Your goodness.
57:52 In Jesus' name, amen.
