It is, it is. 01:44 You can tell we don't try to coordinate colors. 01:48 We have a special topic tonight, 01:50 "Guard the Heart," 01:51 how important that is because it's easy to allow 01:56 the enemy to tramp alone ground 01:58 but we'd like to think that he is not welcomed. 02:01 But how do we do that? 02:03 We do that because we are who God says we are. 02:06 Amen. Amen. 02:08 So get us out of the way 02:09 and let God do what He does best. 02:11 Amen. 02:12 Anyway, we have a special music tonight. 02:14 We have special music with, what is it a? 02:17 What sex... 02:18 Sextet? I guess so. 02:20 A sextet? 02:22 We are gonna all sing together and we are gonna be singing, 02:24 "Standing on the promises." 02:25 And we are... 02:27 Who is playing on the piano? 02:28 We have E.T Everett, 02:29 we are just blessed by having E.T. here. 02:31 We're gonna sing the first two stanzas 02:34 of "Standing on the promises." 02:36 It's number 518 in your hymnal 02:40 and if you look at the bottom of your screen, 02:41 I think you can follow along with us there. 02:43 And just make a joyful noise with us. 02:45 We are all having some voice issues but just... 02:49 We are not gonna worry about that. 02:51 We are gonna make a joyful noise to the Lord. 02:52 Amen. 03:04 Standing on the promises of Christ my King 03:08 Through eternal ages let His praises ring 03:12 Glory in the highest, I will shout and sing 03:16 Standing on the promises of God 03:21 Standing, standing 03:25 Standing on the promises of God my Savior 03:29 Standing, standing 03:34 I'm standing on the promises of God 03:39 Standing on the promises that cannot fail 03:43 When the howling storms of doubt and fear assail 03:47 By the living Word of God I shall prevail 03:52 Standing on the promises of God 03:56 Standing, standing 04:00 Standing on the promises of God my Savior 04:04 Standing, standing 04:10 I'm standing on the promises of God 04:15 Amen. Amen. 04:16 Jason, do you want to have a Word of prayer 04:19 to open this Sabbath evening? 04:21 Absolutely. 04:23 Dear Heavenly Father, we thank You so much 04:25 for bringing us through another week 04:28 to a wonderful Sabbath, 04:30 we just ask that 04:32 You would send Your Holy Spirit to be with us, 04:35 lead, guide, and direct us unto all truth 04:37 as we study Your Word 04:38 and have this wonderful Family Worship together 04:41 and be in the homes of the viewers as well 04:43 as they study along with us, in Jesus' name we pray, amen. 04:46 Amen. 04:48 Amen. Amen. 04:49 I had a thought before I came out here 04:52 and I just want to share this with you. 04:54 Do you know what body dysmorphic disorder is? 05:00 Oh, my... 05:01 Body dysmorphic disorder is when someone obsesses 05:06 about some particular characteristic 05:10 or you know a feature 05:12 and they feel perhaps ugly when they are not. 05:15 I mean other people totally see it differently. 05:18 A good example of body dysmorphic disorder 05:21 is when somebody is bulimic and they are just... 05:25 They look like a holocaust victim, 05:27 they just had skin draped over their bones, 05:30 yet they look in the mirror and they see a fat person 05:35 and it's a total disconnect with the brain. 05:39 Although the thought that I had was that 05:42 there are a lot of people 05:44 who suffer from spiritual dysmorphic disorder 05:49 because you know, 05:50 as JD said when we first started, 05:54 we are not who we think we are 05:57 when we are new creatures in Christ, 05:59 we are not who we think we are, 06:01 we are not who other people say we are, 06:04 but we are who God says we are. 06:06 And that's something that I think 06:08 that we've all got to get over this dysmorphy 06:13 that you know it's like, 06:14 I don't know about you but sometimes I'll think, 06:17 "I am a new creation in Christ, 06:18 the old has gone and the new has come." 06:19 Oh, Lord, the old still rears its ugly head. 06:24 So tonight I want to read to you 06:26 and we will start with Jill on the scriptures. 06:29 But we are going to take some scriptures 06:31 and we're gonna pray 'em back to God, 06:33 we're gonna speak them over our life 06:36 and here is the affirmation. 06:39 "I guard my heart, for as I think in my heart 06:42 so shall I become. 06:44 I am who God says I am. 06:47 I am destined to become like Jesus. 06:50 God places life and death choices 06:53 before me daily. 06:54 I choose to believe the faithfulness of His Word 06:58 and by doing so I choose life. 07:01 For His Word preserves my life. 07:03 I walk in perfect peace because I trust the Lord 07:06 and keep my mind focused on His faithfulness. 07:09 The goodness of God is stored in my heart 07:12 and overflows to my mouth. 07:15 From my heart, I think and speak 07:18 only that which is pleasing to my Heavenly Father." 07:23 Now that isn't affirmation from the scriptures 07:26 even saying that, just that last line, 07:29 "I think and speak only what is pleasing 07:31 to my Heavenly Father." 07:34 I am so glad that God is the God 07:37 who gives life to the dead 07:38 and cause things that are not as though they already were. 07:41 And that's what we are doing here 07:43 is standing on the promises of God, 07:45 trusting and believing 07:48 that who God says we are in His Word 07:52 is who we become 07:54 when we are in Christ Jesus, amen? 07:56 Amen. Amen, wow. 07:58 Jill, I think you've got one of my favorite promises 08:01 to start off with in Proverbs 4:20-23. 08:05 I do. This is one of my favorites. 08:07 You know, Shelley, when you sent out the list 08:09 and say this is our topic, pick your favorite scripture, 08:12 pick the scripture you want to talk about, 08:14 I was so excited because I love this scripture 08:17 and I said, "If nobody else has it, 08:18 I want this scripture." 08:20 So I was very excited and let's read this. 08:23 Now you have it here in NIV 08:24 and then I'm gonna read it in the New King James. 08:26 Sure. 08:27 NIV, this is Proverbs 4:20-23. 08:31 "Pay attention to what I say. Listen closely to my words." 08:36 This is God speaking to us as His children. 08:39 Amen. 08:40 "Do not let them, 08:42 do not let My words out of your sight, 08:44 keep them within your heart, 08:46 for they are life to those who find them 08:50 and health to a man's whole body. 08:53 Above all else, guard your heart, 08:55 for it is the wellspring of life." 08:57 Now I want to read it, this is from New King James, 09:00 this is Proverbs 4:20-23. 09:03 "My son, or we could say my daughter, 09:05 give attention to my words, incline your ear to my sayings. 09:10 Do not let them depart from your eyes. 09:12 Keep them in the midst of your heart. 09:14 For they are life to those who find them, 09:16 and health to all your flesh. 09:19 Keep your heart with all diligence, 09:22 for out of it spring the issues of life." 09:25 Now the word in Hebrew, "keep" is really guard. 09:29 So the NIV in that case has a better translation 09:32 with guard your heart, 09:33 like put a hedge about it, protect it, 09:36 "Guard your heart with all diligence, 09:38 for out of it spring the issues of life." 09:40 Now we will spend just a moment on the words 09:43 and how we keep them in but before we do that, 09:45 I want to turn to another scripture, 09:47 this is Matthew 15, 09:50 talking about what comes out of the heart. 09:52 Amen. 09:53 Matthew chapter 15 09:56 and we'll look at verse 19. 10:00 If I can get over there. 10:02 Matthew 15:19. 10:05 Jesus speaking, says, 10:07 "For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, 10:09 murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, 10:12 false witness, blasphemies. 10:14 These are the things which defile a man, 10:16 but to eat with unwashed hands does not defile a man." 10:18 So it's in the midst of this whole discussion 10:20 on that. 10:22 But what I see from that verse is that 10:24 sin begins in the heart. 10:26 Amen. 10:27 It's not an external action... 10:28 It is an external action 10:30 but the external action proceeds from 10:33 what began originally in the heart. 10:35 You think about the sermon 10:37 on the mount and what does it say? 10:38 Jesus says, 10:39 "Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God." 10:42 So God wants to do a radical heart change 10:46 within us inside, 10:48 and when we are changed inside, what happens? 10:51 The actions change, the words change, 10:54 how we treat other people changes. 10:56 All that comes from heart surgery, 10:58 all that comes from what takes place inside. 11:02 I was looking this up. 11:04 It talks about, "Guard your heart", right? 11:06 "For out of it spring, the well spring of life," 11:08 the issues of life come from inside, 11:10 come from the heart. 11:12 Why does the heart need guarding? 11:15 The heart needs guarding 11:16 because I do not naturally think 11:18 and look at life the way God does. 11:20 Amen. 11:22 The heart needs guarding because I am like a sheep 11:25 and I am prone to wander from God's path. 11:28 The heart needs guarding 11:30 because my heart is not just deceitful, 11:32 it's deceitful above everything else 11:34 and desperately weaken. 11:36 My heart needs guarding because it is desperately sick 11:39 or incurably weaken. 11:41 My heart needs guarding 11:43 because I cannot understand things 11:45 by my own wisdom. 11:46 My heart needs guarding 11:48 because it is the well-spring of life, 11:49 the fountain of my attitudes, my beliefs, 11:52 my aspirations and my pursuits. 11:55 It's the beginning of everything else 11:58 that we do and who we are as a person. 12:00 My heart needs guarding because the fountain 12:02 and all the streams that flow from it, 12:04 that's what I speak, 12:06 that's what I do, that's my actions, 12:08 everything comes from that central point. 12:13 The hearts needs preparing, and purifying, and pouring, 12:16 and centering, and exposing, and convicting, and cheering, 12:20 and encouraging, and comforting, 12:22 and strengthening, 12:23 and all that takes place partly due, largely due 12:27 to the work of the Word of God in us 12:29 and that was the first section of that Proverbs, 12:32 it talks about give attention to my Words, 12:36 incline your ear to my sayings, 12:38 do not let them depart from your eyes. 12:40 So to me, if I look at my heart, 12:42 my heart is wicked and I know that 12:45 and God knows that even more than I do, 12:48 so what do I do? 12:49 Mollie, Psalm 1:39. 12:51 Search me, oh, God and know my heart, 12:53 try me and know my thoughts and reveal to me. 12:57 You know, God, show me those areas in my life 12:59 that are not like You, that are not pleasing to You. 13:03 And then I love Ezekiel 36, 13:05 "God will put in us a new heart and a new spirit." 13:09 He will take away the stony heart, 13:12 take away what is unlike Jesus, 13:14 and then as I spend time in His Word, 13:18 as I claim His Word over my life, what happens? 13:22 The Word of God is quick and powerful and sharper 13:24 than any two-edge sword, the Word of God cuts, 13:26 the Word of God does that heart surgery in my heart 13:29 and life and the Word of God changes. 13:31 So you might be in home and you might be saying, 13:34 "Boy, I know my heart is dirty, I know my heart is deceitful." 13:38 But guess what? 13:39 God can change your heart. 13:41 God can come into your life, just give Him access, 13:45 let Him into your life and let Him change you. 13:48 Amen. 13:49 Yeah, that's a good word. Yeah. 13:50 That's a good word. 13:52 And you know when you think about it, 13:53 and I know, I've been through heart change 13:54 but when it happened, 13:57 was when the Lord taught me to pray His Word over my life, 14:01 to speak His Word over my life 14:04 and I think, you know, we've talked about this before, 14:07 if you're gonna guard your heart, 14:09 you got to guard your ears, 14:10 you got to guard your eyes, you got to guard your mouth, 14:15 but the things that we let in 14:18 is what we become what we behold, right? 14:22 So has anybody here been through a heart change 14:25 and you know that. 14:26 I think we all have, haven't we? 14:28 Absolutely. Amen. 14:29 You know, me being a Russian person, 14:31 when I hear the word guard, 14:33 I imagine a soldier with the arms. 14:37 So guard doesn't mean just to pay attention 14:41 or don't forget to think about it sometimes, 14:44 guard means stand there with your gun 14:47 ready to protect your eyes, to protect your ears, so... 14:52 That's very... 14:54 It's not passive, it's proactive. 14:56 Yes. 14:58 And again, you mentioned this, 15:00 guard your heart, there are only two ways 15:03 that things can get into your heart 15:05 and it's what you allow your ears to hear 15:08 and what you allow your eyes to see. 15:10 And so we have to be proactive 15:13 because this world has been programmed 15:18 to the negative, 15:20 and I've heard a little lady say 15:22 that she... 15:24 Where did that come from? 15:25 Like she had a word just pop up in her mind. 15:29 You can't walk through the mall and not hear things. 15:32 And when you hear it, it goes right into you. 15:35 So you'll pray, oh, God, 15:37 protect those things that are into me. 15:40 Amen. You know what? 15:41 As you were reading, it says, in the NIV it says, 15:44 "Above all else, guard your heart, 15:47 for it is the wellspring of life." 15:49 And as I was looking up some synonyms for wellspring, 15:53 one of the synonyms was "the seabed." 15:57 Ooh, I just love that word 15:59 because that's where all growth takes its speed... 16:01 That's where it gets its boost, you know, from that seabed. 16:06 So guard your heart, guard your heart 16:08 because that's where all life comes from, 16:11 you know, that's the seabed, 16:13 that's who you're gonna become, yeah, amen. 16:16 You become what you behold. 16:18 Amen. Amen. 16:19 Amen, amen. Jason? 16:21 And may I ask you, 16:23 can God help us guard our eyes and ears? 16:28 If someone or me myself, I'm drawn to watch a movie 16:34 or if I am drawn to watch that music, 16:37 so I'm on my own trying to guard my perceptions 16:42 or can God help me? 16:46 He can definitely help you, you know. 16:47 I mean we just... 16:49 We need to be willing 16:51 and we should be intentional as well, 16:54 like how you said God is taking you being proactive, 16:57 you are taking an active role, 17:00 you know, when you develop a relationship 17:02 or you cultivate a relationship with somebody, 17:04 you don't just... 17:05 You are not just sitting there like, 17:07 "Oh, she is gonna be my girlfriend or something." 17:09 You just sit there as a man and just like, 17:11 "Oh, she is my girl, you know?" 17:13 Did you ask her to be your girlfriend? 17:15 Did you take the necessary steps for her 17:20 to be your girlfriend? 17:21 These things just don't happen without willingness 17:26 and being intentional and proactive. 17:30 And I have a scripture, "Promise if you will." 17:33 A scripture promise, because this is in Psalm 119, 17:38 and this is a prayer to the Lord and it says, 17:42 "Turn away my eyes 17:44 from looking at worthless things 17:48 and revive me in your way." 17:51 So I think, in answer to your question, 17:54 yes, I think that we have to rely on God's power 17:58 but we just got to say, "Oh, Lord. 18:00 You know that this has been..." 18:01 May be it's been a steady diet of yours to watch. 18:05 Or let's say the soap operas. 18:08 And there's so many crazy and lustful things 18:12 that are going on there and may be 18:14 you've just been drawn to that, 18:15 you are hooked on it, but you can say, "Oh, Lord. 18:17 I know this isn't pleasing to you. 18:19 I know that's not what it is. Turn my eyes away from this. 18:23 Revive me according to Your Word." 18:25 God will. 18:27 Well, most certainly. 18:28 Help me to be willing to be willing to be willing. 18:30 Absolutely. 18:33 Jason, you want to take Proverbs 23:7? 18:38 Sure. What? 18:39 You looked like you were about to say something. 18:41 Oh, I am sorry. 18:42 Oh, I was just gonna say I love Romans 13:14, 18:43 "Put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision 18:46 for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts." 18:48 So to me, in addition to asking God 18:50 for the strength and the grace, He can say, "Okay, Jill. 18:53 If you get rid of that book, it won't tempt you." 18:55 You know? 18:56 If you get rid of whatever, 18:57 so I can make choices too on what's tempting me. 19:00 Yes. 19:02 So you said Proverbs 23:7, 19:04 and this is out of the Amplified Version, 19:06 "For as he thinks in his heart, so he is." 19:10 I also have another verse that I'd like to read 19:13 which is found 19:18 and if you guys would turn there, 19:21 Proverbs 27:19, and it reads, 19:25 "As in water face reflects face, 19:29 so a man's heart reveals the man." 19:31 Yeah. 19:32 You know, we've been talking about basically 19:34 by beholding, we become changed, 19:35 and so what we are allowing us as... 19:38 It's already been stated here as, you know, 19:41 what we are allowing to enter into our bodies, 19:43 what we spend time doing, how we are spending our time, 19:48 if it's watching the wrong kinds of movies, 19:50 if it's hanging out with the wrong crowd 19:53 so to speak, if it's, 19:55 you know, going to some of the wrong places, 19:57 going to the clubs, going to the bar, 19:59 or whatever the case maybe, 20:01 by beholding, you become changed. 20:03 And so your heart is going to feel the effects of that. 20:08 You know, it's like a smoke or somebody is smoking, 20:12 their lungs will reflect 20:15 that it will have the detrimental effect 20:18 of inhaling all those toxins and it will become black. 20:23 And so the heart will reflect how you are spending your time 20:29 and have what you are taking in and allowing to come in. 20:32 You know, what I like about Proverbs 23:7 20:35 is it shows 20:38 the effects stinking thinking have on us. 20:41 I liked it. 20:42 You know, if you have been told you are worthless, 20:47 I mean some children grow up hearing that, 20:49 "You are worthless, 20:50 you will never amount to anything," 20:52 and you begin to think like that, 20:53 "I am worthless, 20:55 I will never amount to anything." 20:56 Or first of all, let me tell you, 20:58 you are worth nothing less 21:00 than the price that God paid for you 21:01 with the precious life blood of His Son. 21:04 But, or if you think, 21:07 "I am special, I am just so special," 21:10 you know, and you let pride come up 21:12 in your heart, as you think, 21:15 you become, and I think 21:17 that's why it's so important 21:19 to stand on the promises of God. 21:21 I think that I know for me, 21:25 like I remember when God first was teaching me affirmations, 21:28 and in Ephesians where He talks about, 21:30 "We are sealed for the day of salvation 21:33 by the Holy Spirit." 21:35 I remember I am... 21:37 And this sounds crazy, but I just felt that 21:39 the Lord was impressing me to look in the mirror 21:42 and say these things. 21:44 So I am sitting there, speaking these affirmations, 21:46 looking in the mirror, and all of a sudden, 21:48 I looked up in the mirror and I said, 21:50 "And I am sealed 21:52 for the day of salvation by the Holy Spirit." 21:54 And I just began weeping because I am trying to look... 21:59 And I didn't have, 22:00 I never had assurance of salvation, 22:03 but I didn't feel. 22:05 See, we go by feelings, 22:07 and it's something that we've got to hold onto 22:11 what God says and just thank Him, just thank Him. 22:15 Ooh. 22:16 And sometimes I think we know ourselves so well 22:19 that it's hard for us to believe 22:22 that God's Word can be applied to our lives 22:26 because we know our shortcomings. 22:29 But that measure of faith that comes through this Word 22:33 is that this Word can change me. 22:36 Amen. 22:37 I may have been this 22:39 but through the power of God's Word in working me, 22:45 I can be changed. 22:46 We have been predestined to be confirmed to what? 22:49 Yes. 22:50 The very image and likeness of the Lord Jesus Christ. 22:51 Yes, amen. 22:53 Well, that's a high aspiration. Amen. 22:55 JD, what scripture did you bring today? 22:57 Jason, you have something? 22:59 Yes, I did. 23:00 Basically, you know, 23:02 if you have a high estimation of self, 23:04 you really need to look at Christ and His life, 23:07 how He came and He took on the role 23:08 of like a servant leader. 23:10 It was a servant leadership 23:11 or a service-type leadership role, 23:14 you know, He came in as a baby, 23:17 He wasn't born at the Ritz-Carlton, 23:19 you know, he was born in a manger 23:22 and then He had gone through so much, 23:25 He healed people, He spoke to people that 23:30 society had deemed undesirable, untouchable, unwanted, 23:34 and He took the time and ministered to them, 23:37 spent time with them, 23:38 and then suffered a painful excruciating death 23:44 on the cross for us, 23:46 and He is the creator of the universe. 23:49 So how could we have 23:52 such a high estimation of self 23:56 where the creator of the universe, 23:59 He comes and He takes on 24:02 like the most humble role 24:05 possible and period, it just... 24:08 It blows my mind like to see someone like 24:12 I guess with the nose up in the air 24:14 type of thing like... 24:16 Christ is amazing and He did all that for us. 24:20 You know, what it really strikes me day by day, 24:23 and I thank the Lord for this everyday 24:25 as I am praying, 24:26 is I've always thought of His sacrifice on the cross, 24:29 His death has been the greatest sacrifice, 24:32 and I've come to understand His greatest sacrifice 24:36 was when He humiliated Himself to become a man. 24:41 I mean, that is I just... 24:45 I thank Him for it, I am trying to understand it, 24:47 but we won't till we get there. 24:49 Yeah. We won't till we get there. 24:51 My darling? 24:53 Well, this is a fantastic one right here and, boy, 24:55 we've just been dancing around this 24:58 as we've been talking about the first with, 25:01 "Guard your heart." 25:03 Number two, 25:06 "As he thinks in his heart, so is he." 25:08 Well, how... 25:10 What is our guard? 25:11 What is the gift? 25:12 What is that that something that we need 25:15 that we are lacking so that we can guard our heart 25:18 and have the power to do it? 25:20 So I want to go to 1 Corinthians 15:10. 25:24 1 Corinthians 15:10... 25:30 "But by the grace of God 25:33 I am what I am." 25:37 Wow. 25:39 You know, I remember long, long years ago 25:43 as I was going to school, 25:45 someone, one of the professor says, 25:47 "You know, we could easily have three entities. 25:53 Who I see myself as being, 25:57 how others see me, 25:59 and then the real you." 26:01 Yeah. 26:04 We don't... 26:05 We know how God sees us but there's the real you. 26:09 Then as we are looking in here, because we are all over the... 26:13 Listen to what Paul went through. 26:15 Now this is really interesting. Let's go to verse 9. 26:18 "For I am the least of the apostles," wow. 26:22 He was at the bottom end of the ladder. 26:27 I was not worthy and the reason I wasn't worthy 26:30 is because of the bad stuff that I did. 26:32 Yeah. 26:33 Man, I look over my shoulder and there's JD Quinn. 26:38 I mean, we all have a past. 26:41 How do we get past that so that we can guard our heart? 26:44 Yes. 26:45 How can we get past that 26:47 so as I am thinking that's who I am. 26:50 It's by that wonderful word, 26:53 that wonderful gift and I read this some place. 26:55 I mean I am all over the place but I can't help it. 26:58 This is something I hadn't seen before, 27:01 I am what I am 27:02 and he goes down here "not in vain," 27:04 because he is saying as time goes by, 27:07 thank you Jesus that I didn't do this in vain 27:09 because of the gift that You gave me, 27:11 I accept it and by Your power, by Your divine assistance, 27:16 I was able to run with it 27:18 and do everything that I could do 27:20 because it was Your legs that were carrying me. 27:23 Then it says down here, he says that, not in vain, 27:27 a note of thankful relief creeps into Paul's words here, 27:30 he is glad God's grace was not wasted 27:33 when he bestowed... 27:34 When bestowed upon him. 27:36 Amen. 27:37 That man said 27:39 according to the SDA commentary here, 27:41 that we can perhaps receive some grace 27:45 but if we don't embrace it, 27:47 it could just fall to the ground 27:50 and be wasted. 27:51 He loves every one of us so much 27:53 and He wants to wrap His arms and lift us up to... 27:57 "Please be the wind underneath my wings." 28:00 Yeah. 28:02 I mean this is His gift to us. 28:04 And so 28:07 I guess that 28:08 Shelley explains grace so aptly, 28:11 but to me the word when it stuck out 28:13 and I know this, it's unmerited favor, 28:16 but what helped me was divine assistance 28:22 'cause I can see that Divine, that's with a capital D, 28:27 is there to assist me and by divine assistance, 28:31 the divine assistance of God, I am what I am. 28:35 Amen. 28:36 So all of a sudden now, 28:37 yes, we'd like to bring these three entities 28:40 that we were talking about earlier, 28:42 the way JD sees himself, the way other people sees JD, 28:48 the way God sees JD and if you can bring those 28:51 on a horizontal line there, thank you Jesus. 28:56 Amen. 28:57 I think at that particular time 28:58 you are being all that you can be in Him 29:01 because I think then you are within His will. 29:04 So great, great gift. Great gift, the grace of God. 29:09 And let me explain how this idea 29:14 that grace is divine assistance 29:16 came to me is that think about... 29:19 If we think grace is unmerited favor, 29:22 it's the unearned, undeserved gifts of God, 29:25 what were His three greatest gifts 29:27 to the world? 29:29 Jesus said that... 29:31 I mean God said, "For God so loved the world, 29:34 He gave His only begotten Son." 29:36 So Christ is His greatest gift, the Holy Spirit is the second, 29:40 and then the Word of God 29:42 is the third greatest gift of grace. 29:44 Excuse me. 29:46 So think about this, 29:50 if Jesus is working in you, 29:53 and the Holy Spirit is working in you, and by grace 29:56 and the Word of God is working in you, 29:59 that is God's divine assistance 30:02 and supernatural power unto salvation. 30:06 And so to me that sums up grace, 30:08 but anyway, all right. 30:10 I wanted to ask JD, what role does faith play 30:14 in what you were saying? 30:15 Well... 30:17 That's a good question. 30:18 Yeah, it's a great question to me. 30:20 Faith is... 30:21 And what is faith? 30:22 Well, faith is the thing that we can't see 30:24 and we are stepping out and grasping up... 30:27 Faith is this action that you are talking about. 30:29 That's right. 30:31 Is that, go ahead. 30:32 I like to think of faith as the ability to tolerate 30:35 uncertainty while trusting in God. 30:37 That's good. 30:39 Because, you know, as human beings 30:40 we always want to be in the know, 30:41 like we want to know everything, 30:43 we have to have an answer and a rebuttal for everything, 30:45 but sometimes we don't know, 30:47 we know God has our best interest at heart. 30:52 So it's that stepping toward... 30:54 I think through the aid of the Holy Spirit, 30:57 God's the one that has the plan for our life. 30:59 So the good seeds are being sown 31:00 if we would just say, "Feed me." 31:03 But you got to ask. 31:04 "Lord, I give you permission to work in my heart." 31:07 And I think those little seeds are being dropped into, 31:10 I mean this is... 31:11 I see these things, I got to be able to see them, 31:14 and so as I see the little seeds being planted, 31:16 and then I just pray, "Lord, get me out of the way 31:21 so that those little seeds will be irrigated. 31:23 So that I will be able to receive 31:25 the sunshine that I need to see, 31:26 and I would like to think that God with a smile 31:29 from here to here says, "Oh, that's My Son." 31:31 Amen. 31:34 But you've got to give. 31:37 You can't just sit here and those are my seeds. 31:39 Yeah. 31:40 You know, that's mine, that's mine, 31:42 and then all of a sudden things become out of whack 31:45 because you are seeing yourself one way, 31:47 other people are seeing another way, 31:50 and then God 31:51 with tears dripping down His cheek. 31:53 I love how you painted the picture. 31:55 That was beautiful. 31:56 Yeah, yeah. 31:58 So do I understand correctly that there is God's grace 32:02 that He is ready to pour over everyone, 32:05 but if we accept it by faith, then this grace is ours. 32:10 But if we don't, 32:12 then the tears run down His face. 32:16 Yeah. 32:18 Let me share Romans 8:28-29. 32:24 And I love the scripture but may I suggest 32:28 these two scriptures 32:29 were not meant to be two separate thoughts, 32:33 they have to be said together because it says, 32:37 "And we know that all things work together for good 32:40 to those who love God, to those who are the called 32:43 according to His purpose." 32:44 Let me stop there. 32:45 When I was in England 12 years ago, 32:49 was over there doing 32:51 a first edit of women's ministry thing 32:54 and then well, it was an all-church ministry, 32:59 and it was retreat for a bunch of churches. 33:02 And large crowd and I said, 33:06 "What do you do if somebody comes up to you? 33:09 You've just lost your husband, 33:11 you've just lost your two children 33:13 in a car accident 33:15 and somebody comes up to you and says, 33:17 "Sister, all things worked together 33:20 for good for those who love the Lord 33:23 and are called according to His purpose." 33:25 What would you want to do?" 33:26 Smack 'em. 33:28 Smack 'em, that's what I said. 33:30 I said, "You just want to sock 'em." 33:32 Because it's like you are in this grief, 33:35 how can God work that out for your good? 33:38 How can this be according to His purpose? 33:43 Well, see, we are only telling the first half of the A part, 33:47 here is the B part. 33:49 "For whom He foreknew, 33:52 He also predestined to be conformed 33:55 to the image of His Son." 33:57 So the way in which 33:59 God works all things together for our good 34:05 is that no matter what happens in our life, 34:08 no matter how bad it is, 34:11 He makes us a little more like Jesus. 34:16 Amen. 34:17 We are as you said earlier, I mean, the scripture says, 34:20 "This is who we are predestined to be like" 34:26 is we are predestined to be like Jesus. 34:29 So there is a purpose? 34:30 So there is a purpose. 34:31 This is... 34:33 So no matter what bad thing happens 34:35 and I had a lady, 34:37 there were about a thousand people there 34:38 and there was this lady, 34:40 you know, how people talk to you 34:41 after you've spoken, 34:42 there was a lady that just stood patiently 34:45 for may be 30 minutes. 34:48 And finally I went over to her and hugged her and she said... 34:52 I've to tell you this is my first time back 34:54 to any church event in six years. 34:59 Six years ago, 35:01 my son was drowning in a rip current, 35:05 my husband dove in to go rescue him 35:09 and I lost them both that day. 35:11 And she said, "Just as you said 35:14 someone from the church came to me, 35:18 came to my house that night and said, 35:20 'Sister, all things work together for good 35:23 for those who love the Lord'" 35:25 And she said, "I was so angry at God to think 35:30 that this is supposed to be for my good. 35:33 How could this be for my good?" 35:35 But she said, "What you just said 35:38 makes so much sense is that how God works it for our good," 35:43 is that He makes us through these things, 35:46 He can make us a little more like Jesus, 35:50 a little more dependent upon Him, 35:53 a little more accepting 35:57 of this ideas of self sacrifice in love, 36:00 a little more understanding 36:02 that this world is not our home. 36:04 So see this is part of guarding your heart. 36:08 When something bad happens... 36:11 I talked with a man the other day, 36:12 I interviewed a man, 36:14 we interviewed a man who said, "I didn't believe in God 36:18 but every time something bad happened, 36:20 I blamed Him. 36:22 I cursed Him." 36:24 And see, I think in guarding our hearts 36:28 as we come to the Word of God 36:30 and see that He really is a God of love 36:33 and how much He loved us. 36:35 When something happens that we don't understand, 36:39 we just got to before Him and say, 36:41 "Lord, I don't understand. 36:43 But I thank you 36:44 because I know You are gonna bring, 36:47 you know, somehow You can take 36:49 this twisted messed up life, 36:53 this incident 36:56 and you can make me a little more like Jesus." 36:59 And as we think in our hearts, so shall we become. 37:03 I think it's important too that, 37:05 you know, people realize that 37:06 it's not God that's causing people 37:09 to get into a car accident, that's Satan wants, 37:13 he's out to just steal, kill, and destroy. 37:16 So it's not God 37:17 that is destroying these people like this, 37:20 but God can take a tragic situation 37:24 and turn it into good, 37:25 there is blessing at the end of a tunnel. 37:28 So it's important for people to realize that 37:31 because a lot of people say, 37:32 "Why would God take this person or that person from me?" 37:36 Or why would God do such and such. 37:39 Well, it wasn't God that did it 37:41 but pray and ask Him how to move forward from it, 37:44 how to grow from it, 37:45 what lesson you can learn from it. 37:47 And I am glad you said that, Jason, 37:49 because I had a college roommate who... 37:52 She married, had a child, and her husband... 37:55 Her baby was two years old, and her husband was hiking 37:58 and he fell to his death, 38:00 and they only had been married about three or four years 38:03 and he fell to his death. 38:05 And people came to her and said, 38:06 "Well, it was God's will that he go." 38:08 And she didn't want to have anything to do with God 38:11 and it wasn't God's will. 38:13 Yeah. 38:14 I mean that was a horrible accident. 38:15 It wasn't God's will. 38:17 But it's just something that 38:18 he didn't intervene and give him a safety net. 38:21 But her husband took 38:24 an unreasonable risk in his hiking. 38:26 Yeah. 38:27 But anyway... 38:29 Mollie Sue, you've got Deuteronomy, 38:30 you've some good ones. 38:31 And when you think of... 38:33 Shelley... 38:34 Do you wanted to say something? 38:35 Oh, I was just gonna say, I think of in Genesis, 38:38 Joseph and his brothers, 38:39 and remember how cruelly his brothers treated him. 38:42 And then all the way at the end, 38:43 when God, you know, turned those events 38:45 and what did Joseph say to his brothers? 38:47 He said, "What Satan intended for evil, 38:50 God turned for good." 38:52 So you are right. 38:53 I mean all these things Satan intends for evil, 38:55 but God can still work 38:58 to bring out something beautiful. 38:59 Amen. Amen. 39:00 Could I take a quick two minutes, please, please? 39:02 Yeah, sure you can. 39:03 'Cause this is important. 39:05 In Pastoral, 39:06 probably in the last six or eight months, 39:10 we are probably now getting 50-60% 39:12 of spiritual warfare calls. 39:14 Oh, wow. 39:15 Thanks for turning around so fast, 39:17 and so as Jason was talking about here, 39:21 please, guard your heart. 39:23 Don't allow yourself to be put into a situation 39:26 where evil can win. 39:30 Yeah. 39:31 Satan is taking advantage 39:33 of every little tiny little opportunity 39:37 to bring misery into your life and of all... 39:42 We choose to believe 39:43 that we are living in the last days 39:45 of this earth's history and so he is very active. 39:48 So please be attentive. 39:51 Don't set yourself up and do stupid things 39:55 that could certainly bring consequences 39:58 that may not work in your favor. 40:00 Amen. Amen. 40:01 Thank you. 40:03 You know, we are looking at guarding our heart. 40:07 And how do you do that? 40:09 And because I think that, 40:12 you know, if we can convey anything, 40:14 it would be to urge or prompt or motivate 40:18 all of us sitting here at this table 40:20 and everyone that's listening to put themselves 40:25 in a safer place where their heart is concerned. 40:29 And how do we do that? 40:31 And that is through the Word of God 40:33 and you know, we were talking about being proactive, 40:36 you were talking about being proactive, 40:38 we can't just passively sit by and say, 40:42 "Oh, I believe, I believe." 40:43 And I want to start out. 40:45 We are going to look at Deuteronomy 40:46 and let me ask you this and go to Deuteronomy 30. 40:50 When you think of the Book of Deuteronomy, 40:53 what is it that comes to your mind, 40:54 the first thing you think of? 40:56 Blessings and cursings. Blessings and cursings. 40:58 That's true. 40:59 Well, I am thinking of guarding our heart, 41:02 and we've got to be proactive 41:05 and we've got to do it on a consistent daily basis. 41:07 So I want to start 41:11 and let me just quote that to you. 41:12 I think most people know Joshua 1:8 and it says, 41:16 "This book of the law," 41:17 and he is talking about this Word of God 41:19 right here, the Bible. 41:20 "This book of the law 41:22 shall not depart from your mouth, 41:25 but you shall..." 41:26 And here's what I wanted to get to. 41:28 "You shall meditate in it," how often? 41:31 See it's a daily walk. 41:36 Nothing is accomplished, you will not have a deep 41:39 and lasting relationship with that beautiful lady 41:42 if you don't spend time on that relationship. 41:45 And so we want a deep 41:47 and a lasting beautiful relationship 41:49 with our Lord and savior Jesus Christ, 41:51 we do it though His Word. 41:53 So we spend time in His Word day and night, 41:56 that you may observe." 41:58 You don't just read it 41:59 so that you can play Bible Trivia, 42:01 you don't just read God's Word and study God's Word, 42:04 so you would be smarter than Jill 42:06 when we have another one of those... 42:08 Oh, no, I know nothing. 42:11 No, it says, "that you may observe to do 42:15 according to all that's written therein." 42:17 That we don't just hear it and say 42:19 "That's what I wanted to get to." 42:20 It's not just hearing the Word, it's observing to do the Word. 42:25 And that's what Deuteronomy is all about. 42:28 It starts in Deuteronomy 28, where God says, 42:33 let me just read the first part of Deuteronomy 28. 42:37 "Now it shall come to pass, if you diligently do" what? 42:41 "Obey the voice of the Lord your God, 42:45 to observe carefully all His commandments." 42:49 So we're looking at the blessings in... 42:52 There are 14 verses of blessings in Deuteronomy. 42:57 That covers A to Z. 42:58 Covers A to Z. 43:00 I mean you are so blessed 43:01 you don't know what's happening, 43:02 just blessed. 43:04 Well, then the next 54 verses 43:08 is the other. 43:10 So we don't want those. 43:11 We want the blessings of the Lord. 43:13 But first and foremost, you must hear it, 43:17 and then you must do it. 43:18 And Joshua 1:8 says, 43:21 you read God's Word every day. 43:23 You don't just eat food ever so often. 43:28 But you have to grow on God's Word. 43:30 We've been predestined to be good, 43:32 formed into the image of Christ, 43:34 that is a guard of your heart 43:36 to speak of own guards 43:38 and you do that through God's Word. 43:40 God's Word is liken to seed, you take this seed, 43:44 you plant it in your heart, it takes root, it grows, 43:47 it produces seed, produces after its own kind, 43:50 and you develop the characteristics of Christ 43:54 on the inside of you. 43:55 Okay, now, the scriptures I have to share, 43:57 Deuteronomy 30:19. 44:01 "I call heaven and earth 44:03 as witnesses today against you." 44:06 This is talking to you, Jill, let me pick on Jill. 44:09 Jill, "I call heaven and earth against you 44:12 that I have set before you life and death, 44:16 blessings and cursings," 44:17 this is Deuteronomy, remember Deuteronomy 28? 44:20 All those blessings? 44:22 You get down to verse 15, all those cursings. 44:25 So it's set before us, "Blessings and cursings, 44:28 therefore," what does he tell us to do? 44:31 "Choose life, choose those blessings, 44:34 that both you 44:36 and your descendants may live." 44:40 And then I go on over 44:42 to Deuteronomy 32. 44:45 Let's look at verses 46 and 47. 44:49 It says, "And he said to them, 44:51 set your hearts on all the" what? 44:55 "Words." 44:56 All the words, it is solely, you just underline this 44:59 and stress it once again, so vitally important 45:02 that we spend time in God's Word. 45:04 The entrance of God's Word gives light. 45:08 That's right. 45:09 It gives understating to this simple, 45:11 so if light is brought into your heart, 45:14 what is driven out? 45:15 Darkness. 45:17 And how many of you think there's just not possibly be 45:18 some darkness in your life, some darkness in your heart. 45:22 There is a good chance of that in every one of us, 45:25 so as we read God's Word and study God's Word, 45:28 it drives that darkness right out. 45:30 "Set your hearts on all the words 45:33 which I testify among you today, 45:36 which you shall command your children." 45:40 Jimmy, are you hearing this, honey? 45:41 My son is running camera right over there. 45:43 Amen. Yeah. 45:45 "Your children to be careful 45:47 to observe all the words of this law, 45:50 for it is not a futile thing for you, 45:53 because it is your life, and by this word 45:57 you shall prolong your days in the land 46:00 which you cross over the Jordan to possess." 46:03 What promises? 46:04 What blessings? 46:06 I wanted to do Joshua 1:8, 46:07 just, I'm gonna finish with this. 46:09 "This book of the law 46:11 shall not depart out of your mouth, 46:12 but you shall meditate on it both day and night, 46:15 that you may observe to do 46:17 all that's written therein. 46:19 And here's the promise. 46:20 For then you will make your way prosperous, 46:23 and you will have good success." 46:25 You know, that's what I love about. 46:27 I remember and I'll say this real quick 46:29 because I want to give time to Julia. 46:32 But when I was suffering 46:34 so much for year from the constant vertigo 46:37 and I couldn't walk, couldn't talk, couldn't read. 46:40 I mean, was like a stroke victim. 46:42 And God so clearly impressed upon me. 46:46 "I set life and death before you chose life." 46:49 And it was like, I mean 46:51 I wasn't in any mood to... 46:53 I said, "Lord, I have chosen life, 46:56 Jesus Christ is my savior, 46:58 if you mean anything more than that, 46:59 you're gonna have to tell me 47:01 'cause I am in no position to figure it out." 47:04 And that's when he said, 47:07 "My Words are not idle words. 47:10 They add life into your bones." 47:12 So that's when He taught me 47:15 to get into the Word, 47:16 find His promises and pray Him back. 47:18 And He totally changed my life. 47:22 I love that. 47:23 I've never done this but I'm gonna do this. 47:25 Stand in front of the mirror and speak... 47:29 Look into my eyes and tell myself 47:31 what God's Word says about me. 47:33 That's powerful. That wasn't my idea. 47:35 I was impressed by the Lord to do that 47:37 and it was powerful. 47:39 You know, I liked what you said about, 47:41 you know, hear and do. 47:43 Imagine sitting at your house, your house is on fire, 47:45 somebody calls you and says, 47:47 "Hey man, your house is on fire." 47:50 You are like, "Yeah, I hear you. 47:51 I'll talk to you later." 47:53 And you just sit back 47:54 and you just relax and everything, 47:56 like everything is okay, 47:57 and then your house burns up with you in it. 48:00 Like if you are reading the Word, this... 48:02 What you are reading should bring about the change 48:04 like Christ working on your heart, 48:06 the Holy Spirit working on you 48:07 and pulling out your heart 48:08 when you are reading this stuff, 48:10 this should change you. 48:11 And it will. And it will. 48:13 Yes, it will. 48:14 Go ahead. Go ahead. 48:16 I just wanted to say, we want to get, 48:17 we've only got nine minutes left 48:18 and I so want to hear what Julia has to say 48:21 and then we will come back with some closing comments 48:23 if we have time. 48:24 You know, I am here among you, 48:26 such a distinguished panel, 48:28 knowing your Bible so well. 48:32 My history in the Bible is not long enough. 48:35 We know it. You are a woman of God. 48:37 Oh, praise the Lord. 48:39 We are so blessed to sit at the table with you. 48:41 Oh, thank you. 48:42 So what I am going to do, if you don't mind 48:44 I will just read my passage 48:46 and I will let your say 48:48 if there is something that you want to say, 48:50 but I believe it's a very good conclusion 48:52 to what we are talking about. 48:54 So I'll read it. 48:55 It is Luke 6:45 49:00 and onwards. 49:01 Luke 6:45, 49:04 "A good man out of the good treasure 49:07 of his heart brings forth good 49:10 and an evil man out of the evil treasure 49:13 of his heart brings forth evil. 49:16 For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks." 49:19 So we have been talking about it that we may be good 49:22 and at other times we may be evil, 49:25 depending on what we look at, 49:27 or what we hear, what we want to have, 49:30 this is what we have. 49:32 So let us go on, 49:35 "But why do you call Me 'Lord, Lord,' 49:37 and not do the things which I say?" 49:41 Which I say? 49:42 So he says some things, why don't we do them? 49:45 He asks us. 49:47 "Whoever comes to Me, 49:48 and hears My sayings and does them, 49:53 I will show you whom he is like." 49:55 And then he describes that he is like a man 49:58 who built his house on a firm foundation 50:01 and it will stay, it will not be demolished 50:04 under any hardships, 50:06 under any temptations, 50:08 under any bad things. 50:11 But he who heard God's sayings, 50:15 we are hearing it 50:16 and we are letting you know, so many... 50:18 Millions of people, many millions of people 50:21 hear them too. 50:22 Praise the Lord for 3ABN 50:25 which does it worldwide including Russia. 50:29 "But he who heard and did nothing is like a man 50:33 who built a house on the earth 50:35 without a foundation." 50:37 So I cannot say anything 50:39 better than this, you know? 50:41 I believe that just listening 50:44 and not doing is a wrong thing. 50:49 Yes, be a doer of the Word, not a hearer only 50:52 because if you hear it and don't do it, 50:55 it says you are deceiving your own self. 50:58 And I can deceive Shelley and I've still got hope. 51:01 I can deceive Jill and I still got hope. 51:04 But if I am self-deceived, there is no hope for me 51:07 because I am deceived. 51:08 So we deceive ourselves Julia 51:11 by not being a doer of that Word. 51:13 But you know you are talking about the treasure. 51:17 We store up treasure, right? 51:20 So when he says... 51:21 Luke 6:45, when Christ said that 51:24 if we've got good stored in our heart, 51:27 how do we store good in our heart? 51:29 We know there is no one good but God. 51:32 So it's as that Word gets into our heart... 51:35 That word ever hid in my heart. 51:37 Yeah, and as we accept that Word as being truth, 51:41 as being God's testimony, 51:44 you know, in 1 John 5, 51:46 it says that anybody that doesn't believe 51:48 the testimony of God, is calling him 51:52 or regarding him as a liar. 51:54 So it is important when God says 51:57 this is who we are in Christ. 52:00 It's so important for us 52:03 to say, "Lord, you know, 52:05 I just don't feel like I am there yet. 52:07 But I know my hope is, 52:11 you're gonna work all things together 52:12 for my good. 52:13 My destiny is that you're gonna conform me 52:15 to the image of Jesus." 52:17 And that's why when he says though 52:20 out of the overflow of the heart, 52:23 the mouth speaks. 52:25 Haven't you ever met somebody 52:26 that they are going through 52:30 a really bad situation 52:31 and all of a sudden they are just like 52:33 chicken little, you know? 52:34 Maybe it's somebody that's at church every Sabbath 52:37 and they look so astounding and upright 52:40 but something bad happens 52:41 and it's just like, "Oh, this guy is falling, 52:43 this guy is falling." 52:45 And they don't have any faith. 52:47 So I think it's important that 52:50 and even when we speak in disbelief, 52:53 I think it robs us of our own faith, 52:55 which is like we are disconnecting ourselves 52:58 from our faith. 52:59 You know, one thing as I was looking at this, 53:01 this is really fantastic and this is the way God works 53:04 and we were talking about a while ago, you know, 53:06 how we can take a nugget and take a nugget there. 53:09 Two things, number one, is I was looking at my... 53:12 I just went to 1 Corinthians 15:10 53:14 and I've got a sermon out of that after about 45 minutes, 53:17 the Lord just flat took over. 53:19 I had nothing to do with me. 53:20 But they are the nuggets 53:22 so if we'll just dedicate ourselves, 53:24 think about the poor man in the easy chair 53:26 and the fire burning, 53:27 you know, he had just grabbed something 53:29 that's active 53:31 and allow and incorporate in his own life... 53:33 Listen to this, Luke 6:45, we just got to, 53:36 talking about the good man. 53:38 Now let me just take what we just read here 53:40 because this is really thank you Jesus. 53:43 The good man, one who guards his heart, 53:47 the good man, who accepts the grace from God, 53:50 the good man chooses blessing and cursing, 53:53 the good man accepts life, 53:56 the good man 53:57 has God stored up in his heart. 54:00 Amen. Wow. 54:01 That is powerful. 54:02 Wow. Amen. 54:04 I mean, thank you, Jesus. 54:05 You gonna preach that tomorrow. 54:07 I recommend, you got a sermon. 54:09 Wow. 54:10 It's just wow. Just jumped off the page. 54:14 I love what you said Julia too 54:16 because talking about the good treasure in the heart 54:18 and then if we hear it 54:20 and we don't do it what happens? 54:22 Or if we hear it and we choose to walk in obedience. 54:25 You know, JD, your scripture 54:27 was one of my favorites too. 54:28 The one that you had, by the grace of God 54:30 I am who I am, what I am 54:32 and His grace towards me was not in vain. 54:34 Many times when I read that, 54:36 I almost cry. 54:38 God has extended grace 54:41 to each one of us 54:42 and what am I doing with it? 54:44 Am I making a choice to do 54:46 what He asks to walk in obedience, 54:49 to allow Him to build a deep foundation, 54:52 or am I throwing it away? 54:54 You know, we each have such a privilege 54:57 and opportunity to be loved by the creator God 55:00 to know that He wants to pour His grace 55:02 and love and mercy. 55:04 And what's my choice gonna be? 55:06 What am I gonna do with that grace? 55:07 Absolutely, absolutely. 55:09 I think it says, choose life or death. 55:11 Choose, I set life and death before you choose. 55:14 Life is what the Lord wants us to do. 55:16 Let's read our affirmation again. 55:21 I guard my heart, I am who God says I am, 55:23 it's what this is about. 55:25 I guard my heart for as I think 55:27 in my heart so shall I become. 55:30 I am who God says I am. 55:32 In other words, you are not who you think you are, 55:34 you are not who anybody else says you are, 55:36 God is the only one that knows the end from the beginning. 55:39 He knows what He has predestined for you. 55:42 I am who God says I am, 55:44 I am destined to become like Jesus. 55:47 God places life and death choices 55:49 before me daily. 55:51 I chose to believe the faithfulness of his Word. 55:54 By doing so, I choose life 55:56 for His Word preserves my life. 55:58 I walk in perfect peace because I trust the Lord 56:01 and keep my mind focused on His faithfulness. 56:04 That's Isaiah 26:3, isn't it? 56:07 The goodness of God is stored in my heart 56:12 and overflows to my mouth 56:14 and from my heart I think and speak 56:16 only that which is pleasing 56:19 to my Heavenly Father. 56:21 Let that be our aspiration. 56:23 Mollie, 15 seconds. 56:25 Your thoughts become Word, 56:28 you Words become actions, what is this? 56:30 Your actions become attitude, your attitudes become, 56:33 I may get this wrong... 56:35 Habits, habits become patterns 56:40 and your character becomes your destiny. 56:45 I love that saying. 56:48 Boy, our time just flew by. 56:49 Thank you all so much. 56:51 Julia, it was such an honor to have you join us. 56:54 Oh, praise the Lord. 56:56 Thank you and boy, honey, 56:57 that was definitely directly from the Lord. 57:00 It was, thank you, Jesus. Wow. 57:02 Amen, amen. 57:04 Jill, thank you. 57:05 Julia, Jason, Mollie and of course, JD. 57:11 Our prayer for those of you at home 57:13 is that the grace of our Lord 57:15 and savior Jesus Christ will be yours 57:18 and that the love of the Father 57:20 and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit 57:23 will be with you, not just this Sabbath day 57:26 as you are enjoying God but every day. 57:29 Thank you so much 57:31 for joining with us today. 57:33 You are a family and we love you. 57:35 Amen. Amen. |
