good enough for God.

we can't separate

because basically he's saying,

work out your own salvation
with fear and trembling,

don't rely on
yourself in other words.

And he goes on, he says
but not in your own strength,

"For it is God who works in you

both to will and to do
for His good pleasure."

So I think of this
as a two stage work.

God works in us, you
know, here's God and His will,

there's His channel of blessing.

If you're outside of His will

what God does first
is He works on your mind

through His Word,
through His Spirit

to help you begin to
desire to do His will.

And He gets your will

I remember once I told the Lord,

You know, I said, "I'm
willing to do Your will."

And what I heard in my
mind was, "No, you are not."

And I thought, oh, no.

And I said, "Lord, I'm
willing to be made willing."

And then what I heard
was, "That's all I ask."

So when we're
willing to be made willing,

God will start changing
the things that you desire

the way you think.

Now He's got you,

But something that I've
found is that that's not enough
