Well before we introduce our guests Jasmine has two 00:01:41.36\00:01:46.17 scriptures that she's going to read for us. 00:01:46.23\00:01:47.57 I'll be reading from Micah 6 verse 8: He has shown you O man 00:01:47.60\00:01:52.61 what is good and what does the Lord require of you but to do 00:01:52.64\00:01:58.21 justly, to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God. 00:01:58.25\00:02:03.28 And I'll be reading as well from John 17 verses 1-3: Jesus spoke 00:02:03.32\00:02:09.06 these words lifted up his eyes to heaven and said, Father the 00:02:09.09\00:02:14.90 hour has come. Glorify your Son that your Son also may glorify 00:02:14.93\00:02:20.37 you. As you have given him authority over all flesh that he 00:02:20.40\00:02:24.84 shall give eternal life to as many as you have given him. 00:02:24.87\00:02:30.51 And this is eternal life that they may know you the only true 00:02:30.55\00:02:36.12 God and Jesus Christ whom you have sent. 00:02:36.18\00:02:39.32 Amen, amen. Well this is the goal of ASI Bahamas Prison 00:02:39.35\00:02:44.79 Fellowship Bahamas. That the ministry we'll be talking about 00:02:44.83\00:02:51.50 today. And this is the goal to come in contact with all those 00:02:51.53\00:02:56.04 to share about the true God and Jesus whom God has sent. So in 00:02:56.07\00:03:04.11 today's program we'll be learning more about ASI Bahamas 00:03:04.15\00:03:07.58 Prison Fellowship Bahamas. So let me introduce you to our 00:03:07.62\00:03:11.72 guests. Well in just a few we're going to learn a lot about 00:03:38.35\00:03:44.15 ASI Bahamas/Prison Fellowship Bahamas. But before we do that 00:03:44.19\00:03:48.59 we're going to have our special music. Jasmine who'll be giving 00:03:48.62\00:03:53.03 our special music today? 00:03:53.06\00:03:54.40 E.T. Everett and she'll be playing I Will Serve Thee. 00:03:54.43\00:03:57.47 ¤ ¤ 00:03:57.50\00:08:09.72 Amen. I Will Serve Thee. Beautiful, beautiful, right? 00:08:09.78\00:08:12.62 Yes, yes. 00:08:12.65\00:08:14.39 Thank you Sister E.T. Well if you're joining us a little bit 00:08:14.42\00:08:19.13 late we have two special guests I want to introduce you to again 00:08:19.16\00:08:23.87 We have David Williams and Ian Greene. Glad you guys could 00:08:23.90\00:08:28.14 be with us here again today. And they're with ASI Bahamas/ 00:08:28.17\00:08:33.64 Prison Fellowship Bahamas. So before we learn about your 00:08:33.68\00:08:37.55 ministry it'd be great if our viewers at home could get to 00:08:37.58\00:08:41.42 know a little bit more about you So David you start off and share 00:08:41.45\00:08:45.09 with us. 00:08:45.12\00:08:46.62 My name is David Williams. I'm from the beautiful country of 00:08:46.65\00:08:50.53 the Bahamas Islands which consist of 700 islands and keys. 00:08:50.56\00:08:54.16 Next to heaven, it's the best place to be. And so I serve 00:08:54.20\00:08:57.43 as an elder At the Redemption Seventh-day Adventist Church. 00:08:57.47\00:09:00.77 I also serve as the vice president for evangelism for ASI 00:09:00.80\00:09:03.91 Bahamas. I'm director of my non profit. It's called Uplifting 00:09:03.94\00:09:10.01 Men's Ministry and a board member of Prison Fellowship 00:09:10.05\00:09:12.75 Bahamas. And I want to say this in my introduction. What is more 00:09:12.78\00:09:17.19 important to me beyond every thing is John 17:3: That eternal 00:09:17.22\00:09:22.72 life is found in Christ and Christ alone. 00:09:22.76\00:09:26.73 Amen (in chorus). And how about you Ian. You get to share a 00:09:26.76\00:09:29.33 little bit about yourself. 00:09:29.36\00:09:30.70 My name is Ian Greene. I'm the President of ASI Bahamas. I am 00:09:30.73\00:09:35.40 married to Michelle Greene and we have four lovely children. 00:09:35.44\00:09:38.81 Believe it or not their names will surprise you because my 00:09:38.84\00:09:44.08 wife's name is Michelle my oldest daughter's name is 00:09:44.11\00:09:48.45 Marissa which is my wife's middle name. My son who's in the 00:09:48.48\00:09:52.49 middle is Ian Greene, Jr. He's married to Christina. And my 00:09:52.52\00:09:55.76 youngest daughter, her name is Michelle Greene. We call 00:09:55.79\00:09:59.23 her Shelley. So we are a close knit family. I am in the 00:09:59.26\00:10:03.70 construction business for over 35 years now. I'm also a vice 00:10:03.73\00:10:09.37 President of ASI on the Intramerican Division and as 00:10:09.40\00:10:12.44 you can see on this jacket here I'm also the president of ASI 00:10:12.47\00:10:16.75 Atlantic Caribbean Union. So again my portfolio is full and 00:10:16.78\00:10:22.38 my scripture that I always tell people is: We need to learn how 00:10:22.42\00:10:26.29 to honor our God. How do we do that? By walking humbly with him 00:10:26.32\00:10:30.93 How do we do that? Because we need to actually show mercy to 00:10:30.96\00:10:35.06 people, we need to be kind to people and we need to let the 00:10:35.10\00:10:37.73 love of Christ shine through our hearts. 00:10:37.77\00:10:39.53 Amen (chorus). Well I know that a lot of our viewers at home are 00:10:39.57\00:10:43.74 very familiar with ASI but for those viewers that don't know 00:10:43.77\00:10:47.91 about ASI, could you share a little bit about that. 00:10:47.94\00:10:51.65 Well ASI, Adventist Laymen's Services and Industry, we are 00:10:51.68\00:10:55.02 part of the global Adventist church and our territory is the 00:10:55.05\00:11:00.22 Interamerican Division. And what we do is we try and get the 00:11:00.26\00:11:06.36 church members involvement so that there are no bench warmers 00:11:06.39\00:11:09.56 in the church. When you join ASI you join an army of workers. 00:11:09.60\00:11:14.07 Rightly trained we will carry this gospel to the end of the 00:11:14.10\00:11:17.27 world. 00:11:17.31\00:11:18.64 Amen, amen. That's great. 00:11:18.67\00:11:20.01 Great. Can you share with us how long you've been involved in 00:11:20.04\00:11:23.75 Prison Ministries. 00:11:23.78\00:11:25.11 Okay for me Prison Ministries, I've been involved in Prison 00:11:25.15\00:11:28.72 Ministries now for maybe about at least 25, 30 years of my life 00:11:28.75\00:11:32.45 I mentioned to you my nonprofit men's ministry. We recognize 00:11:32.49\00:11:37.96 the statistics indicate maybe 70, 80 percent persons 00:11:37.99\00:11:41.50 incarcerated are the males. And I recognize that as Christ leads 00:11:41.53\00:11:47.67 and directs us, Christ meets us where we are. We all are sinners 00:11:47.70\00:11:50.37 born in sin. And so the same thing applies in Prison 00:11:50.41\00:11:53.98 Ministries. You asked me in terms of how long, why did I get 00:11:54.01\00:11:57.31 involved in Prison Ministries. Christ has called me to share 00:11:57.35\00:12:01.98 ministry to persons who can't give back. There's nothing 00:12:02.02\00:12:07.12 glamorous about Prison Ministries. You don't get to be 00:12:07.16\00:12:10.79 in the cameras and say what you are doing in prison ministries 00:12:10.83\00:12:14.96 and so it has to be a passion. Christ has to plant that in you. 00:12:15.00\00:12:17.17 You see. And so that where he led me into that ministry and 00:12:17.20\00:12:21.74 like how Christ met us, Christ meets us where we are. We're 00:12:21.77\00:12:25.54 bottom down and he picks us up. When you go into a prison okay 00:12:25.57\00:12:30.61 when you go into a prison most of the persons know what they 00:12:30.65\00:12:33.75 have done, okay. But what they need to hear is hope. And the 00:12:33.78\00:12:40.52 hope presented to people in prison that it is Christ. People 00:12:40.56\00:12:46.23 today are trying 12-step program 10-step program. They don't need 00:12:46.26\00:12:52.90 10 and 12-step program. You need one step. That's Jesus Christ. 00:12:52.93\00:12:56.54 Then everything else flows over having Christ. 00:12:56.57\00:13:00.28 Amen, praise the Lord. 00:13:00.31\00:13:01.64 You sound really passionate about this. Was there anything 00:13:01.68\00:13:04.75 in particular that inspired you to get involved in prison 00:13:04.78\00:13:07.32 ministry? 00:13:07.35\00:13:09.38 Well for me what inspired me like I said I know Christ is 00:13:09.42\00:13:13.25 calling me is being able to minister to individuals who 00:13:13.29\00:13:18.69 can't give back. Can't give you praises or get in front of the 00:13:18.73\00:13:25.50 cameras and say, David Williams did this or David Williams did 00:13:25.53\00:13:29.44 that. And so that's the motivation. When you're in a 00:13:29.47\00:13:32.41 situation like that it has to be all Christ. He has to use you. 00:13:32.44\00:13:36.88 He has to use what he's planted inside of you. Why? Not for you 00:13:36.91\00:13:40.92 but it brings glory to him. (Amen) It brings glory to him. 00:13:40.95\00:13:45.09 Because you recognize if Christ doesn't do it the transformation 00:13:45.12\00:13:48.52 of those individuals could never take place. 00:13:48.56\00:13:51.89 Amen, amen. And how has Prison Ministry evolved in the Bahamas 00:13:51.93\00:13:56.77 over the years? 00:13:56.80\00:13:58.13 Over the years in terms of prison ministry has evolved. In 00:13:58.17\00:14:03.54 the past a lot of focus was on church services per se, right? 00:14:03.57\00:14:06.31 And we recognized that we present Christ first and 00:14:06.34\00:14:10.25 foremost and then you want to equip individuals with the 00:14:10.28\00:14:13.62 necessary tools. Example: Person maybe faced with an anger issue 00:14:13.65\00:14:18.25 A person may be faced with a... they may be a sexual predator. 00:14:18.29\00:14:22.09 You know and we could name it. So no longer now in the past 00:14:22.12\00:14:27.13 when you go there, you have a church service and you leave. 00:14:27.16\00:14:29.23 Persons are being educated, they're being equipped with the 00:14:29.26\00:14:33.60 necessary tools, an aftercare program. So an individual has 00:14:33.64\00:14:37.67 been incarcerated. In the Bahamas we don't call them 00:14:37.71\00:14:40.01 inmates. We call them residents. See all of it is the power of 00:14:40.04\00:14:42.81 this mindset of corrections. So when we approach them they are 00:14:42.84\00:14:46.92 residents, right? And then we meet individuals on the street. 00:14:46.95\00:14:50.62 And they approach you. You say boy, I remember you. Said oh 00:14:50.65\00:14:53.96 yeah from the church up on the east. Our prison is located in 00:14:53.99\00:14:57.49 the east. We actually call it no longer prison. It's called the 00:14:57.53\00:15:00.60 Bahamas Department of Corrections. So evolvement takes 00:15:00.63\00:15:04.30 place that we're seeking now one of the things is what they 00:15:04.33\00:15:07.04 call a cell block ministry. Only so many individuals can come 00:15:07.07\00:15:11.11 to the church or the chapel or go to classes. But with cell 00:15:11.14\00:15:16.48 block ministries you are disbursed to the various cells. 00:15:16.51\00:15:19.11 Persons who the chances are they would never come out of there 00:15:19.15\00:15:22.42 only for an exercise period and as a result of it these 00:15:22.45\00:15:27.46 individuals are being reached with the gospel of Jesus Christ. 00:15:27.49\00:15:29.62 That's the power of the involvement. 00:15:29.66\00:15:32.93 Oh boy! How is this ministry impacting the community. 00:15:32.96\00:15:35.46 The impact of that when transformation takes place 00:15:35.50\00:15:40.97 people begin the see a difference. Prison Fellowship 00:15:41.00\00:15:43.87 Bahamas has we call it a halfway house, a transitional home. So 00:15:43.91\00:15:47.24 the impact is that when individuals have run some 00:15:47.28\00:15:51.48 programs in the prison we call it job readiness. And so what do 00:15:51.51\00:15:56.52 I do? Give me individuals who have two years left in their 00:15:56.55\00:16:01.16 time, put them in a class and we prepare them for outside. How 00:16:01.19\00:16:07.53 to fill application forms for national insurance, you call it 00:16:07.56\00:16:11.93 social services or something else. Driver's license. You may 00:16:11.97\00:16:15.60 need birth certificate, passport You may need to know now how do 00:16:15.64\00:16:20.44 you dress and interview. How do you present yourself now to give 00:16:20.48\00:16:25.35 an interview. A person who may not necessarily work for someone 00:16:25.38\00:16:28.88 I have someone comes who teaches them entrepreneurship, preparing 00:16:28.92\00:16:33.22 them, giving them steps for their own business. So all of 00:16:33.25\00:16:36.69 this is a part of the preparation that when they are 00:16:36.73\00:16:39.39 now returning back to society they are now equipped with tools 00:16:39.43\00:16:43.37 It's no longer you come out, you stand at a gate, someone picks 00:16:43.40\00:16:47.87 you up and you move on. No, we are giving you these skills now 00:16:47.90\00:16:51.17 so that from the day you step out, right, you can now go back 00:16:51.21\00:16:56.75 into society and blend in and you have some equipment, you 00:16:56.78\00:16:59.35 have some tools, you have some skills like you can become a 00:16:59.38\00:17:03.72 part of society. Another thing I'd like to highlight. Today we 00:17:03.75\00:17:05.89 have a challenge with the gender based violence, the sexual 00:17:05.92\00:17:11.19 violence you know very big with our women and children 00:17:11.23\00:17:13.36 and so again 00:17:13.40\00:17:14.73 I've been blessed with the privilege of training locally 00:17:14.76\00:17:17.37 and internationally. That I conducted a class actually 00:17:17.40\00:17:20.57 at the Bahamas Department of Corrections. 00:17:20.60\00:17:22.17 It was the first time it happened. 00:17:22.20\00:17:23.54 My class had 25 registered sex offenders, persons who have 00:17:23.57\00:17:28.44 committed violence against women and girls. And they were 00:17:28.48\00:17:35.52 equipped with tools, I use the word tools, skills. When I am 00:17:35.55\00:17:36.89 finished with them we then return them over to a 00:17:36.92\00:17:40.16 psychologist, somebody who's trained now to help prepare the 00:17:40.19\00:17:44.36 transformation. But you recognize now the greatest 00:17:44.39\00:17:46.09 transformation has to come through Christ. Outside of that 00:17:46.13\00:17:48.96 they only have these programs and you go back into society. 00:17:49.00\00:17:54.87 And so all of this helps in the preparation and the 00:17:54.90\00:17:58.44 transformation of individuals once they're returning back to 00:17:58.47\00:18:01.91 society they are now prepared to put the test, right, or practice 00:18:01.94\00:18:09.58 what they have learned. Not only that I have a national radio 00:18:09.62\00:18:13.12 program in the Bahamas which can be viewed on Facebook, Zoom, 00:18:13.15\00:18:16.89 YouTube called Transforming Lives along with my 00:18:16.93\00:18:19.56 co-host Jackie Gardner. 00:18:19.59\00:18:20.93 So what we do we provide an opportunity now for 00:18:20.96\00:18:25.17 these individuals if they desire we take them to the schools 00:18:25.20\00:18:28.90 to talk to the young people. We take you into the communities, 00:18:28.94\00:18:32.81 we take you to the churches and we bring you on the radio to 00:18:32.84\00:18:36.14 share with others now as to what your life was like before and 00:18:36.18\00:18:42.62 now what your life is like when you met Christ and the 00:18:42.65\00:18:45.99 transformation he has taken place in your life. 00:18:46.02\00:18:48.46 Well speaking of being transformed, I think you have a 00:18:48.49\00:18:52.33 video that shows us one of the prisoners that was transformed. 00:18:52.36\00:18:55.60 Is that correct? (Right) All right, well good. Let's take a 00:18:55.63\00:18:57.57 look at that video right now. 00:18:57.60\00:18:59.13 First of all, I want to thank the Lord for this opportunity 00:18:59.17\00:19:03.57 to be standing 00:19:03.61\00:19:04.94 here. Because from what I've been through really I'm not 00:19:04.97\00:19:08.34 supposed to be here. Second I'd like to thank this group, the 00:19:08.38\00:19:11.81 Seventh-day Adventist group for what they have contributed to us 00:19:11.85\00:19:15.32 who most people have already counted out, so we really 00:19:17.35\00:19:19.15 appreciate Mr. David Williams 00:19:19.95\00:19:21.29 and the rest. We appreciate the commissioner, chaplain for 00:19:21.32\00:19:26.83 allowing this to happen. Now since being in this program here 00:19:26.86\00:19:34.70 with lesson this week and the Prisoners Fellowship group. This 00:19:34.74\00:19:38.57 has opened my eyes a lot. I thought coming to prison was not 00:19:38.61\00:19:45.05 the beginning of my imprisonment What I have learned through 00:19:45.08\00:19:48.28 Brother Williams and the others is that I was already in prison 00:19:48.32\00:19:52.19 when I was on the streets and before coming here and 00:19:52.22\00:19:54.42 taking part in these programs actually released me from 00:19:54.46\00:19:58.03 those prisons. They released me 00:19:58.06\00:20:00.36 from the prison of drugs, the prison of gang bangers 00:20:00.40\00:20:02.36 the prison of interference, feeling I have to live up to 00:20:02.40\00:20:04.67 for in me and freed me from that prison. I now realize that I am 00:20:09.04\00:20:12.77 free now in these four walls. 00:20:12.81\00:20:15.94 This program has been great and, we want to 00:20:16.21\00:20:19.88 thank you for Jesus's devices because from the demonstration 00:20:19.91\00:20:24.39 showing would benefit us a lot and take us to another level. 00:20:24.42\00:20:29.66 As a testimony of what the class and this program has done for me 00:20:32.79\00:20:35.46 I wrote this poem and I hope it translates what I have gone 00:20:35.50\00:20:40.37 through and where I'm at now. It's call Whom Shall I Trust 00:20:40.40\00:20:44.71 God Is Enough. The winds are strong the waters 00:20:44.74\00:20:48.94 are rough. Trouble overwhelms me whom shall I trust? The prince 00:20:48.98\00:20:53.38 of darkness who wants to kill us or the Lord who blew life into 00:20:53.42\00:20:58.22 the dust. For the Almighty is true and his reward is just. 00:20:58.25\00:21:01.46 The way is hard, but He built you tough. Material things 00:21:01.49\00:21:05.03 I have not much. As long as I have God I have enough. Trust 00:21:05.06\00:21:09.50 not in man like myself for in times of calamity he cannot help 00:21:09.53\00:21:14.30 Trust not in money for salvation is the true wealth. Ask the 00:21:14.34\00:21:19.54 Lord and you shall receive. He only asks that you believe. 00:21:19.57\00:21:22.28 So I put my trust in God and now I am free indeed. Thank you. 00:21:22.31\00:21:26.25 Amen, amen. Anything else you can share with us. 00:21:26.28\00:21:31.72 One of the things we want to look at we want to thank our 00:21:31.75\00:21:34.46 Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for the partnership with 3ABN 00:21:34.49\00:21:38.89 because a program like we just listened to can only happen with 00:21:38.93\00:21:42.53 facilitators there and over a specific period of time. But now 00:21:42.56\00:21:47.70 that we have formed this partnership with 3ABN we can 00:21:47.74\00:21:51.07 have programs running we call it 24/7. And it is not necessary 00:21:51.11\00:21:56.51 that a facilitator has to be there because with the wireless 00:21:56.54\00:22:00.48 boxes now we set them up. 00:22:00.52\00:22:02.58 We have some pictures of that don't we? 00:22:02.62\00:22:04.09 Yes and they can constantly run and that is the blessing now 00:22:04.12\00:22:09.49 and not only that there's an appeal even for more TVs that I 00:22:09.52\00:22:15.76 can now place these in various other areas of the prison and 00:22:15.80\00:22:18.93 they themselves now have access to these wireless boxes and so 00:22:18.97\00:22:23.64 the program can be going in five different prisons and in each 00:22:23.67\00:22:28.14 prison in different sections. You see and so that's the 00:22:28.18\00:22:30.35 blessing of a wireless box like that. You don't need the 00:22:30.38\00:22:32.95 internet. It runs 24/7. You don't have to have a 00:22:32.98\00:22:36.99 facilitator there. And so it's like they're sitting down and 00:22:37.02\00:22:39.35 watching a regular television program. And I want to say 00:22:39.39\00:22:42.62 publicly thank you 3ABN for a partnership like that with the 00:22:42.66\00:22:47.50 Prison Fellowship team, with the Seventh-day Adventist Prison 00:22:47.53\00:22:50.87 Ministries with ASI. We know that we're going to look forward 00:22:50.90\00:22:54.64 to future partnership, Bible study, 3ABN has some Bible 00:22:54.67\00:22:59.01 studies specifically designed for persons who are 00:22:59.04\00:23:02.38 incarcerated and any of the equipment that we can use that 00:23:02.41\00:23:05.38 will go a long way in bringing prisoners to accepting Christ 00:23:05.41\00:23:10.62 because above everything else having Christ and having eternal 00:23:10.65\00:23:16.66 life must be the goal because at the end of the day when 00:23:16.69\00:23:21.23 everything else has faded away if you don't have Jesus Christ 00:23:21.26\00:23:24.30 nothing else matters. 00:23:24.33\00:23:26.57 Amen, amen (chorus) Brother Ian let's transition to you. So you 00:23:26.60\00:23:30.94 were telling us about health ministry and that's a crucial 00:23:30.97\00:23:34.68 part of the ASI ministry. Tell us more about that. 00:23:34.71\00:23:37.11 Yes. We believe at ASI like most Adventists should the health 00:23:37.15\00:23:43.62 message is the right hand of the gospel. And in order for the 00:23:43.65\00:23:48.52 work to be effective in these last days we must be a set of 00:23:48.56\00:23:53.19 people that has a set aside health that is next to none on 00:23:53.23\00:23:56.83 the planet. Therefore we've engaged in health training in 00:23:56.87\00:24:01.97 every evangelistic outreach that we do health is included. There 00:24:02.00\00:24:05.47 must be a health nugget. There must be something said on health 00:24:05.51\00:24:08.01 We have determined to make health the number one arm of ASI 00:24:08.04\00:24:14.88 so we've had a training set in March of this year for the 00:24:14.92\00:24:18.02 entire month. Cynthia Bonas has come all the way down from 00:24:18.05\00:24:21.42 Alabama to train about 67 individuals who attended the 00:24:21.46\00:24:26.26 course. To God be the glory, it was a wonderful time. Mind you 00:24:26.29\00:24:31.13 many participants had to take time off in order to complete 00:24:31.17\00:24:34.70 this training. 00:24:34.74\00:24:36.07 We have some photos that we can show as well. 00:24:36.10\00:24:38.27 Oh that would be wonderful because at the health training 00:24:38.31\00:24:41.48 we had a wonderful time and as you can see now, this is at the 00:24:41.51\00:24:44.18 end of the training we have a health expo where we practice 00:24:44.21\00:24:48.65 what we've learned. And so imagine 67 persons going out 00:24:48.68\00:24:53.82 into the community and coming together to have a larger net 00:24:53.86\00:24:57.19 in that. This one is our large colon. It's very special. You 00:24:57.23\00:25:01.30 walk through it and you can see all the problems that you may 00:25:01.33\00:25:05.03 encounter if you had colon cancer. So it's unique. And this 00:25:05.07\00:25:09.80 is one of our training sessions where we're sitting in the 00:25:09.84\00:25:12.04 classroom. Again we have a lot of items that we do here. We're 00:25:12.07\00:25:16.75 learning how to make soap, natural soaps. So it helps with 00:25:16.78\00:25:21.88 cancer, skin disease, and the list goes on. And again we had a 00:25:21.92\00:25:26.22 wonderful time at that training session. I'm praying that next 00:25:26.25\00:25:29.16 year when we do it again we have even maybe a thousand people 00:25:29.19\00:25:33.19 there. Like my partner says, I like to think big, when it comes 00:25:33.23\00:25:39.17 to ASI projects and mission. 00:25:39.20\00:25:42.54 Speaking of thinking big, you were telling us about this 00:25:42.57\00:25:46.31 massive wellness center that's in the works or you're thinking 00:25:46.34\00:25:49.78 of building. Can you tell us about that? 00:25:49.81\00:25:51.71 Yes. Tranquility Bay is going to be a one-of-a-kind health and 00:25:51.75\00:25:57.12 wellness retreat and farm center Because in this particular 00:25:57.15\00:26:02.72 center we are going to involve natural health like Uchee Pines 00:26:02.76\00:26:08.36 and Wildwood so it'll be natural healing where we can invite the 00:26:08.40\00:26:13.84 entire world to come to the Bahamas which has the best 00:26:13.87\00:26:16.47 sunshine in the whole world, the purest air in the world and of 00:26:16.50\00:26:21.71 course when you're there you'll experience a little taste of 00:26:21.74\00:26:24.01 heaven and healing and that is unique. In order for us to heal 00:26:24.05\00:26:29.18 people we have to have the best food. Where do we get the best 00:26:29.22\00:26:32.09 food from? Natural farms. So we are going to start the largest 00:26:32.12\00:26:37.73 farms the Bahamas have ever seen We're starting with a hundred 00:26:37.76\00:26:40.96 acres of land and every year we want to add another hundred 00:26:41.00\00:26:45.93 acres of land. You know what the good news about that farm is? 00:26:45.97\00:26:48.87 (What's that?) We have somebody who is willing to take all the 00:26:48.90\00:26:52.61 food we can grow every single year. We don't even have to look 00:26:52.64\00:26:57.35 for somebody to sell the food to That in itself is an amazing 00:26:57.38\00:27:01.68 feat. God truly works miracles. And our retreat center...well 00:27:01.72\00:27:06.65 you know sometimes churches and businesses they just want their 00:27:06.69\00:27:11.19 workers or their members to take a retreat. They're not sick but 00:27:11.23\00:27:14.73 they want to do something in a large group, maybe 60, maybe 70, 00:27:14.76\00:27:19.07 maybe 120 persons. Our retreat center will be able to house 00:27:19.10\00:27:23.57 probably up to 200 individuals in one sitting. So imagine you 00:27:23.61\00:27:29.61 immersing yourself in the Bahamas on the most lovely 00:27:29.64\00:27:32.25 beaches in the world, yeah I must repeat myself. And when 00:27:32.28\00:27:36.15 we're doing things like this again it helps to build bonding 00:27:36.18\00:27:41.62 and it helps people to remain healthy. So we're not just 00:27:41.66\00:27:45.26 looking at healing but we're looking at prevention because 00:27:45.29\00:27:48.23 prevention beats cure. 00:27:48.26\00:27:49.60 Right, right, right. 00:27:49.63\00:27:51.37 Does the place also serve locals... 00:27:51.40\00:27:55.10 Oh yes. We have a special health retreat where we have two 00:27:55.14\00:27:59.07 categories. One is called premium and of course that is 00:27:59.11\00:28:02.41 going to be on the exclusive side for those who can afford it 00:28:02.44\00:28:05.85 And we have what we call a standard side of the wellness 00:28:05.88\00:28:09.88 center. And what we are planning on doing is when we open up both 00:28:09.92\00:28:15.16 centers one will aid the other so that if there's anyone that 00:28:15.19\00:28:20.53 needs help we will not turn them down. So God has a super plan 00:28:20.56\00:28:25.27 for us to help as many persons as we can. By his grace, we know 00:28:25.30\00:28:29.87 that it will come to pass. 00:28:29.90\00:28:32.61 Amen. You know our viewers at home, they love hearing 00:28:32.64\00:28:37.81 transformative experiences and I'm sure you've got some miracle 00:28:37.85\00:28:43.15 stories that you can share. 00:28:43.18\00:28:46.76 Tranquility Bay would be one of them. Why I love this one is 00:28:46.79\00:28:50.33 because it took us two years to get all the plans and the 00:28:50.36\00:28:53.06 details in set for it. Even though God gave me the vision 00:28:53.09\00:28:57.13 from [20]17 and the vision was really finalized in 2021. And 00:28:57.17\00:29:04.64 when that vision came together there were a lot of obstacles. 00:29:04.67\00:29:08.14 And we just couldn't get through them. But I'm going try and do 00:29:08.18\00:29:11.58 this as quick as I can because truly this was miraculous. I 00:29:11.61\00:29:15.92 have a business partner of mine who was sitting at a restaurant 00:29:15.95\00:29:18.29 one night and we actually at Tranquility Bay were at a dead 00:29:18.32\00:29:21.96 end. We can't finish it. But he's sitting at a restaurant 00:29:21.99\00:29:24.79 and he sees a guest in the Bahamas. He walks up to her and 00:29:24.83\00:29:27.96 he says, Excuse me, why are you visiting the beautiful Bahamas? 00:29:28.00\00:29:32.37 Could you give me one reason why you're here. And she says, but 00:29:32.40\00:29:35.20 you know she's looking at him because she don't know him and 00:29:35.24\00:29:38.74 she says well I can tell you. I'm here because I'm interested 00:29:38.77\00:29:41.94 in health. He takes out a piece of paper, writes my name on it, 00:29:41.98\00:29:45.18 and writes my number on it and passes it to her and says, This 00:29:45.21\00:29:47.75 person is the person you need to contact. He walks away. She 00:29:47.78\00:29:52.49 texts me. I don't recognize the number but I respond immediately 00:29:52.52\00:29:56.29 And a couple few minutes later she calls. So I said to her, you 00:29:56.32\00:30:01.76 know my name is Ian Greene. And she said well I'm interested...I 00:30:01.80\00:30:05.70 said well I can help you. Long story short. A week later we're 00:30:05.73\00:30:09.60 in Miami where we actually met. And we're sitting down talking 00:30:09.64\00:30:13.78 Her husband actually is a developer and he hears us 00:30:13.81\00:30:19.85 talking and I mention that I'm a local contractor. So he's 00:30:19.88\00:30:22.28 talking to my brother. He stopped at that moment and comes 00:30:22.32\00:30:25.35 to the table. And when he comes to the table he said, You're a 00:30:25.39\00:30:27.86 contractor? I said yes I am. He said I'm in construction too but 00:30:27.89\00:30:30.26 obviously, we are different levels. So we began to form a 00:30:30.29\00:30:35.13 nice relationship. One month later. His job is not going the 00:30:35.16\00:30:38.87 way he wants it to go. He wants something to do for the next two 00:30:38.90\00:30:42.24 week. He said I got time on my hands. You got any projects that 00:30:42.27\00:30:44.64 you're working on that I can look at. What do you think I 00:30:44.67\00:30:47.14 said. I do. I have Tranquility Bay. I said but this is a markup 00:30:47.18\00:30:52.18 undergoing and we've been working on it for two years, we 00:30:52.21\00:30:54.28 can't finish it. I don't know if you are going to actually say 00:30:54.32\00:30:57.99 that this is something I want to look at. He said, give it to me. 00:30:58.02\00:31:01.39 I have a temp and in two weeks we'll get it back to you. Before 00:31:01.42\00:31:03.76 two weeks he calls me up. Check your email. I look at it. We 00:31:03.79\00:31:07.83 were stuck at 34 million. When he sends it back to me the 00:31:07.86\00:31:12.40 project is now at 85 million, totally completed. We now can 00:31:12.43\00:31:17.27 send it to those who have donors The first two donors that got it 00:31:17.31\00:31:22.04 their reply was this document is done professionally. We could 00:31:22.08\00:31:30.29 not have done that. That is God. Truly God stepped in when we 00:31:30.32\00:31:34.59 stopped. 00:31:34.62\00:31:35.96 Praise the Lord. Where are you in the process? Have you started 00:31:35.99\00:31:38.46 construction on the wellness center? 00:31:38.49\00:31:39.83 No, we have not. We are at another roadblock, but thank 00:31:39.86\00:31:45.10 God for roadblocks. I like to say when you have the biggest 00:31:45.13\00:31:49.00 of the roadblocks that's when God is going to walk over or 00:31:49.04\00:31:50.37 walk through them. So right now the donor who has the funding 00:31:50.41\00:31:55.31 says we need government approval and that's where we are now. 00:31:55.34\00:32:00.58 Well we look forward to hearing more, an update, later on. 00:32:00.62\00:32:02.12 Yes. I'm looking forward to when God opens that door and walk 00:32:02.15\00:32:06.72 across that wall. We can start our construction. 00:32:06.76\00:32:09.29 Now, brother David, I'm sure that you've got some special 00:32:09.32\00:32:13.76 projects that you've been working on as well. Is that 00:32:13.80\00:32:16.10 correct? Yeah. You asked the question about the miracle 00:32:16.13\00:32:19.33 stories. The one that comes to mind: In 2003, I went to the 00:32:19.37\00:32:24.37 Philippines to conduct a crusade with the former president of the 00:32:24.41\00:32:27.28 General Conference at the time there that it's called Global 00:32:27.31\00:32:30.68 Evangelism right. I think they changed it to Share Him. That's 00:32:30.71\00:32:34.58 Robert Falkenberg. And so a team of us went down. 00:32:34.62\00:32:37.85 Philippines I'm conducting the crusade in the night and because 00:32:37.89\00:32:40.16 I had this passion, Christ had put this passion for prison 00:32:40.19\00:32:43.29 ministries. It's 2003 now. I went into the prison in the day. 00:32:43.32\00:32:46.19 So in the night, I conduct one crusade which I went for and in 00:32:46.23\00:32:49.66 the day I'm going in the prison for the two weeks. And the 00:32:49.70\00:32:52.70 miracle story for me was they could not get baptized on that 00:32:52.73\00:32:56.57 Sabbath, right, because some challenges happened. But that 00:32:56.60\00:33:00.94 Sunday morning in the city, I think it's called Olongapo 00:33:00.98\00:33:05.31 watching those men in the Philippines with the chains on 00:33:05.35\00:33:09.45 their legs, okay, marching in the streets going to the 00:33:09.48\00:33:16.32 Baptismal Center for Baptism The image is still in my head today. 00:33:16.36\00:33:20.46 And they're marching along the street. Of course, it's 00:33:20.50\00:33:23.06 attracting attention. The people are stopped watching. But 00:33:23.10\00:33:26.77 they're marching in the chains going to the baptismal center 00:33:26.80\00:33:31.07 to make their decision and seal that for Jesus Christ. That to 00:33:31.11\00:33:37.95 Me, was awesome. That was worth it all. One of the things I want 00:33:37.98\00:33:41.48 to share later on in the year I was traveling to Ghana 00:33:41.52\00:33:45.35 myself, Ian Greene, and a number of us, in 2004 the Lord opened 00:33:45.39\00:33:50.29 up the door again for me to go with Global Evangelism to 00:33:50.33\00:33:53.13 conduct another crusade. And all of that crusade was a church 00:33:53.16\00:33:59.80 formed called the Amazing Grace. 00:33:59.83\00:34:01.30 There are some photos of that... 00:34:01.34\00:34:02.77 Yes. The Amazing Grace Seventh- day Adventist Church and when I 00:34:02.80\00:34:08.04 left I assisted in helping send some funds to build that church 00:34:08.08\00:34:11.81 They are now preparing to build another church, right, and the 00:34:11.85\00:34:16.18 plan is for us to go in later on in the year to be able to have a 00:34:16.22\00:34:22.06 time to celebrate for them the anniversary when you look at the 00:34:22.09\00:34:26.83 miracles what Christ has done. And this is why I say to people 00:34:26.86\00:34:30.73 Lift Jesus up. Share the good news of salvation. You know 00:34:30.77\00:34:36.84 there's a text I love that says it's found in Matthew 16 and 26, 00:34:36.87\00:34:41.78 it says What does it profit a man, or woman, to gain the whole 00:34:41.81\00:34:45.61 world. I worked at 3ABN. I was always on the programs. I've got 00:34:45.65\00:34:50.15 six cars, I got four houses, worth 10 million dollars but 00:34:50.19\00:34:57.33 when I die I die without Christ. What did it profit anyone, me, 00:34:57.36\00:35:01.46 what did it profit any of us And then Jesus balances it. In 00:35:01.50\00:35:06.13 Matthew 6:33 He says seek first the kingdom of God and his 00:35:06.17\00:35:10.11 righteousness and what? All. I want to ask this to our audience 00:35:10.14\00:35:13.88 how much is all? It would be good if somebody could give me 00:35:13.91\00:35:17.08 a number. How much is all? You cannot give a number so when we 00:35:17.11\00:35:22.22 seek Christ's ways, his righteousness and then all 00:35:22.25\00:35:25.42 things...He gives us everything else that we need, that we want 00:35:25.45\00:35:30.39 because why? He says he'd supply our needs. And so people need to 00:35:30.43\00:35:35.70 know that above everything else eternal life that's found in 00:35:35.73\00:35:40.24 Christ and Christ absolutely alone. You know I like to give 00:35:40.27\00:35:45.04 mentor credit. He's a doctor, Leslie McMillan, right. He was a 00:35:45.07\00:35:48.04 former stewardship director of the Interamerican Division and 00:35:48.08\00:35:52.11 he shared this with me, this is important. When you and I share 00:35:52.15\00:35:58.35 the gospel wherever we go people must always know something about 00:35:58.39\00:36:04.36 Jesus Christ. What do I mean by that? Even in our regular 00:36:04.39\00:36:08.16 conversations we must allow Christ to seek the waiter. We 00:36:08.20\00:36:12.03 must leave them asking them something or sharing something 00:36:12.07\00:36:15.44 about Christ. So every conversation must be tied to him 00:36:15.47\00:36:19.31 We begin with it, in the center and end with it so that when 00:36:19.34\00:36:23.35 that individual leaves from you they must know him and have 00:36:23.38\00:36:27.35 that assurance because the way life happens now people are just 00:36:27.38\00:36:31.15 collapsing and dying. And so people must know that there's 00:36:31.19\00:36:37.16 more to this life than anything else than having that 00:36:37.19\00:36:41.70 relationship with Christ. Because guess what when it comes 00:36:41.73\00:36:43.90 down to your dying bed and my dying bed the only thing that 00:36:43.93\00:36:48.27 mattered, it's not going to matter our families, the wives 00:36:48.30\00:36:50.41 the children and all of that, we love all of that and _ 00:36:50.44\00:36:54.91 but when it comes down to dying bed you better die we call it 00:36:54.94\00:37:00.25 knowing that you have that relationship with Christ. This 00:37:00.28\00:37:03.28 is the last one I want to say. People talk about the hope. I 00:37:03.32\00:37:06.72 cannot die with a hope. That's me now. There's no guarantee 00:37:06.76\00:37:10.16 I will die with the assurance. And so the only way you can die 00:37:10.19\00:37:16.06 with Christ is you have to live in him. And so I can't die now 00:37:16.10\00:37:21.10 if I don't use him again. I can leave here right now, right now, 00:37:21.14\00:37:25.87 with the assurance that I have the salvation that's found in 00:37:25.91\00:37:31.15 Jesus Christ. 00:37:31.18\00:37:33.42 Amen, praise the Lord. Amen, praise the Lord. 00:37:33.45\00:37:36.32 We talked a lot about prison ministry. What's the core 00:37:36.35\00:37:38.95 message you want our viewers to take away and what would you 00:37:38.99\00:37:43.59 like them to do as a result? 00:37:43.63\00:37:45.53 The core message comes back to the fact that Christ can set you 00:37:45.56\00:37:50.13 free. I've heard a testimony that just recently came from a 00:37:50.17\00:37:54.57 conference in Chicago. It was a prison conference and listening 00:37:54.60\00:37:58.54 to individuals 80 percent of the person who led out in the 00:37:58.57\00:38:01.61 the seminar were persons who were formerly incarcerated. And 00:38:01.64\00:38:06.72 they all give credit to one thing: The transformation that 00:38:06.75\00:38:11.09 Christ brings. Let me give you some more stories. I know a 00:38:11.12\00:38:14.06 person very close to me. He came out of prison and he said to me 00:38:14.09\00:38:20.06 because he's at our transitional home, he said to me, Oh David 00:38:20.10\00:38:23.10 I need to look at...what do I do So I said listen to me. You need 00:38:23.13\00:38:26.43 to get Christ in your life. He has to be first and foremost. 00:38:26.47\00:38:29.37 That's just born to it. Oh I don't need Jesus man. I need a 00:38:29.40\00:38:33.14 job man. I need to find something to do. I said, fine if 00:38:33.17\00:38:36.71 that's what you want to then you go do that. But I tell you 00:38:36.75\00:38:39.41 Christ is the answer. Jesus is the answer. I got a call, he 00:38:39.45\00:38:42.75 went over there on our islands, he went to work. The next time 00:38:42.78\00:38:46.09 I got a call. That brother was at emergency room. Slit his 00:38:46.12\00:38:52.33 wrist. When I walked into the emergency room, I'll never 00:38:52.36\00:38:56.46 forget it because it was a Sabbath. And when I walked into 00:38:56.50\00:38:59.53 the emergency room and he saw me and he looked at me and he said 00:38:59.57\00:39:02.14 I just gave up. I didn't say it then to him but later on I said 00:39:02.17\00:39:07.94 to him, this is why I am saying to you, and this gentleman had 00:39:07.98\00:39:12.58 been in and out of the system. At the age of 16. At that time 00:39:12.61\00:39:16.48 he was 58, 57, 58 and I say this is why I said to you Christ is 00:39:16.52\00:39:23.83 your hope. This addiction that you're battling with, going to 00:39:23.86\00:39:26.93 this treatment center, going to this program. That's fine but 00:39:26.96\00:39:32.13 all you need is one step and that step is Jesus Christ. When 00:39:32.17\00:39:37.31 you get ahold of him he will give you power and get you over 00:39:37.34\00:39:39.51 that addiction. But even greater than that I want you to have 00:39:39.54\00:39:43.78 eternal life because to die without Christ would profit you 00:39:43.81\00:39:49.38 nothing. So that's the message that I want people to present. 00:39:49.42\00:39:52.25 You tell them that. That's the message I want you to know. 00:39:52.29\00:39:55.96 Jesus Christ will transform your life and give you the victory. 00:39:55.99\00:40:00.46 Amen. This young man did he give his life to the Lord. What is he 00:40:00.50\00:40:04.07 doing now? 00:40:04.10\00:40:05.43 I saw him two weeks before I came the answer I'm sad to say 00:40:05.47\00:40:10.04 is no. He still has not given his life to Christ He's battling 00:40:10.07\00:40:14.48 with drug addiction, in and out of the prison system. 00:40:14.51\00:40:16.71 Wow. (Pray for him) It sounds like there are some challenges 00:40:16.75\00:40:22.18 that you face with Prison Ministry or maybe even ASI. Can 00:40:22.22\00:40:26.25 you share any type of challenges you may have with us. 00:40:26.29\00:40:28.79 I'm not the person to answer that. 00:40:28.82\00:40:30.56 Well the biggest challenge ASI has in the Bahamas, I guess 00:40:30.59\00:40:36.73 maybe in some other fields or so is to inform or enlighten the 00:40:36.77\00:40:40.84 church that Adventist Laymen's Services and Industry is for 00:40:40.87\00:40:45.57 first and foremost laymen. Everybody. It's the millionaires 00:40:45.61\00:40:49.38 industries. No, it's the workers It's everybody that works in the 00:40:49.41\00:40:54.88 church. Everyone. It's from the gas station attendant to the 00:40:54.92\00:40:59.45 maid in the hotel to the supervisor on the job to the 00:40:59.49\00:41:02.59 construction worker or the construction owner. It doesn't 00:41:02.62\00:41:04.33 matter what you are. As long as you are a Seventh-day Adventist 00:41:04.36\00:41:07.16 you should be a part of ASI. Here is why. Sharing Christ in 00:41:07.20\00:41:13.20 the marketplace is not for a certain amount of people in our 00:41:13.23\00:41:16.91 church. Sharing Christ in the marketplace is for every single 00:41:16.94\00:41:20.98 Adventist. There are no back bench warmers. We all need to 00:41:21.01\00:41:28.32 get on the field and carry the ball. We all need to be a part 00:41:28.35\00:41:30.72 of the program. A lot of times I believe most of Adventists are 00:41:30.75\00:41:35.49 so comfortable hearing the program, watching the program, 00:41:35.52\00:41:38.69 they just don't want to be involved as part of the program. 00:41:38.73\00:41:44.63 Christ did not call spectators. And the one thing I must say: 00:41:44.67\00:41:49.80 What has helped me tremendously and that is paying attention to 00:41:49.84\00:41:57.78 still small voice of God. I've read the Bible over and over 00:41:57.81\00:42:01.12 hundreds of times but until I started listening to God's voice 00:42:01.15\00:42:05.59 until I started paying attention to his voice then there was a 00:42:05.62\00:42:11.56 big difference in my life. Now I believe God has called me to 00:42:11.59\00:42:15.36 call everyone in the church to become a part and listen to the 00:42:15.40\00:42:18.97 Holy Spirit because just like Brother Dave at the end of the 00:42:19.00\00:42:22.60 day you're not following the dictates of the Holy Spirit in 00:42:22.64\00:42:26.24 your heart you can know the Bible, you can quote the texts 00:42:26.27\00:42:28.04 but how is evangeliving in your life? 00:42:28.08\00:42:33.28 You know and I want to add to that and he asked the question 00:42:33.31\00:42:38.39 how I want to share with someone I want to give them here is what 00:42:38.42\00:42:42.19 happened. My spiritual mentor Dr. Leslie shared something with 00:42:42.22\00:42:46.09 me that stuck with me from then to today. He used this acronym 00:42:46.13\00:42:51.00 now but you can get your own. It's called PSRL. P stands for 00:42:51.03\00:42:57.74 prayer. First thing in the morning, I must do it every day. 00:42:57.77\00:43:01.14 This morning as soon as my foot hit the ground I get on my knees 00:43:01.18\00:43:06.55 in prayer. S I surrender to Christ, talking to me. I commit 00:43:06.58\00:43:13.79 my life to him afresh. This morning, right? So P is for 00:43:13.82\00:43:20.20 prayer, S is surrender. R is reading. So then I take up my 00:43:20.23\00:43:26.47 quarterly, my Bible, my devotional, right, and spend 00:43:26.50\00:43:32.01 time reading his word. And then the L, I listen to him, I'm 00:43:32.04\00:43:39.11 listening now to see how he's responding back to me after 00:43:39.15\00:43:42.08 reading his word. PSRL And so as a result, my point is the 00:43:42.12\00:43:46.09 tool. When men and women...you see I am I use this term I am an 00:43:46.12\00:43:51.69 Adventist in Christ. People don't need a revival. We need to 00:43:51.73\00:43:57.37 spend time with Christ. That's what we need. When you spend 00:43:57.40\00:44:00.74 your personal time in the midst of trials and tribulations, when 00:44:00.77\00:44:05.97 you go to Christ, I have that personal time, that personal 00:44:06.01\00:44:10.18 devotion, he talks to you. And he has many ways of doing it. 00:44:10.21\00:44:13.15 You see and the revival begins in you. So the revival begins in 00:44:13.18\00:44:18.62 you, and Ian Greene, and both of you and all of us in the studio, 00:44:18.65\00:44:24.69 then we allow Christ to use us. Here's what happens. We as a 00:44:24.73\00:44:30.00 people, we want to do things. Here is the secret to it 00:44:30.03\00:44:32.13 Galatians 2 and 20. I am crucified with Christ, 00:44:32.17\00:44:35.60 nevertheless, I live. Watch this. Yet not what I David. So 00:44:35.64\00:44:43.28 it is now Christ living in me and it is Christ works now 00:44:43.31\00:44:47.55 through his Holy Spirit, right? So that's how it starts. So when 00:44:47.58\00:44:52.52 stand here, Ian Greene and I here, it is not Ian, it's not 00:44:52.55\00:44:56.56 David. It is the Holy Spirit and Christ speaking through us. 00:44:56.59\00:44:59.59 (indistinct) 00:44:59.63\00:45:01.30 Every word comes out of my mouth represents him. We have our 00:45:01.33\00:45:06.27 thoughts and you have your thoughts but it is Christ. And 00:45:06.30\00:45:08.60 so when we spend time with him I mean my metaphor is not 00:45:08.64\00:45:13.11 Christ up here, Christ is on the side, Christ is walking with me. 00:45:13.14\00:45:15.51 He is in me. He's in me through his Holy Spirit. So then when my 00:45:15.54\00:45:22.42 mouth opens up it is him speaking. So when you spend 00:45:22.45\00:45:24.45 time with Jesus Christ especially in the midst of your 00:45:24.49\00:45:28.72 trials and we have trials and tribulations. And then there's a 00:45:28.76\00:45:31.43 text in Jude 24 says because people doubt their salvation 00:45:31.46\00:45:35.70 You ask the question right now how many people could put up 00:45:35.73\00:45:38.57 their hand in the church and know that they're saved right 00:45:38.60\00:45:40.07 now _ their body and we are afraid. That's why I say you 00:45:40.10\00:45:46.21 can't die with a hope. Hope is no guarantee. You could die with 00:45:46.24\00:45:48.74 assurance and Jude 24 says says Now unto him who is, what, able 00:45:48.78\00:45:52.78 to do what keeps you from falling. So then Christ dying 00:45:52.81\00:45:59.35 for us makes no sense. If my name comes up before the Father 00:45:59.39\00:46:01.16 right now, David Williams, he's innocent. Not because of what I 00:46:01.19\00:46:06.16 have done but because of what Christ has done. He's able to 00:46:06.19\00:46:09.53 keep you from falling and watch this, he presents you faultless 00:46:09.56\00:46:12.97 I want somebody to tell me what is the meaning of the word 00:46:13.00\00:46:16.34 faultless. So before the Father right now we are faultless. And 00:46:16.37\00:46:22.74 so this all comes out of a relationship is key. If men and 00:46:22.78\00:46:27.02 Women, boys and girls could spend their personal time, their 00:46:27.05\00:46:30.62 own time with Christ and Christ alone, listen to me, a revival 00:46:30.65\00:46:35.96 would take place because above everything else that Christ 00:46:35.99\00:46:40.50 wants to give you and I, that's eternal life. Everything is 00:46:40.53\00:46:43.60 secondary. The plan that Jesus died, the Son of Man came to 00:46:43.63\00:46:46.20 seek and to save that which is lost and we are in a lost 00:46:46.23\00:46:51.07 condition so Christ wants to save us first and foremost. 00:46:51.11\00:46:53.84 So you know (indistinct) for me now, I'm talking to me 00:46:53.88\00:46:55.98 when people talk about praying my friends pray to the Father 00:46:56.01\00:47:00.22 in my behalf if 00:47:00.25\00:47:01.58 you want to use that word that they will accept him because 00:47:01.62\00:47:05.22 Christ has healed him for what, to go back into a life of sin or 00:47:05.25\00:47:07.76 and he can heal you and he can do it or he can provide you 00:47:07.79\00:47:10.53 resources 00:47:10.56\00:47:11.89 or whatever. Christ wants you to have eternal life first and once 00:47:11.93\00:47:15.23 you have that everything else is done. 00:47:15.26\00:47:17.43 Amen. Dr. Ian how can our viewers get involved, how can 00:47:17.47\00:47:22.27 they help? 00:47:22.30\00:47:23.87 Well the good thing is ASI is an organization where we reach out 00:47:23.91\00:47:29.01 to everyone and we have pamphlets, we have information 00:47:29.04\00:47:32.88 we have our websites. So we have the local church. And as a 00:47:32.91\00:47:36.99 matter of fact I travel to every single church in our 00:47:37.02\00:47:40.32 conference, our conferences, because we have two. We have 60, 00:47:40.36\00:47:44.33 I think 67 churches in total and so we spread the ASI message 00:47:44.36\00:47:48.76 asking the church members to join ASI. The one thing I can 00:47:48.80\00:47:53.20 say that we're trying to initiate in the churches is for 00:47:53.23\00:47:55.74 members to understand that they're stewards. A lot of 00:47:55.77\00:47:58.57 members believe everything they own belongs to themselves. At 00:47:58.61\00:48:01.64 ASI we own nothing so everything that we have belongs to God. 00:48:01.68\00:48:06.35 And all we're saying to you is you can reach out to your local 00:48:06.38\00:48:09.92 church and they will reach us if we don't have a rep in that 00:48:09.95\00:48:14.09 church because we have so many churches sometimes we don't have 00:48:14.12\00:48:16.79 a local rep. But our local conferences normally carry an 00:48:16.83\00:48:21.10 ASI person who's in charge at the pastoral level and they're 00:48:21.13\00:48:24.87 connected to us as presidents or as our board. So we're asking 00:48:24.90\00:48:28.50 all of our ASI members, sorry all of our church members, to 00:48:28.54\00:48:32.94 contact your local church and ask about ASI. We are here 00:48:32.97\00:48:36.38 for you. 00:48:36.41\00:48:37.75 And how can our viewers get in touch with you. 00:48:37.78\00:48:39.88 You have contacts on a website, email address. We have our 00:48:39.91\00:48:43.42 website and I believe should be on the screen. 00:48:43.45\00:48:46.65 ASiBahamas.org by God's grace and we have contact numbers also 00:48:46.69\00:48:49.86 with that. We have an email address ASiBahamas242@gmail.com 00:48:49.89\00:48:53.43 So our members we really can, our church members really can 00:48:53.46\00:48:57.60 get in contact with us through our website and through our 00:48:57.63\00:49:00.27 email address and our phone contacts. And we'll be looking 00:49:00.30\00:49:03.34 forward to hearing from you. 00:49:03.37\00:49:04.71 Amen. And I see Brother David's contact on the screen: 00:49:04.74\00:49:07.68 DaveWilliams65@hotmail.com 00:49:07.71\00:49:09.68 Right, so they can email me. You can call me at (242) 422-6917 00:49:09.71\00:49:13.65 I'm a very open person that's (242) 433-6917 00:49:13.68\00:49:20.09 email me at DaveWilliams65@hotmail.com 00:49:20.12\00:49:22.69 ASI as we share, we talk about sharing Christ in the 00:49:22.72\00:49:28.43 marketplace and getting people involved, right? Notice our 00:49:28.46\00:49:33.44 primary, and I come back to it, is share, Christ. You see 00:49:33.47\00:49:36.87 because nothing you own belongs to you. Ian and I talk about 00:49:36.91\00:49:39.24 this and this is how Christ connects us because both of us 00:49:39.27\00:49:43.55 think big. I think big too. What we're saying is we believe in 00:49:43.58\00:49:49.68 attempting projects. I was blessed to travel to a number of 00:49:49.72\00:49:51.35 countries. I went to Ghana, to Kenya, to the Philippines, to 00:49:51.39\00:49:54.79 Uganda. How would I get to these other places. I had to do 00:49:54.82\00:49:59.59 something that is bigger than me. Failure was guaranteed 00:49:59.63\00:50:04.80 if Christ didn't do it. I didn't have the money. I've never been 00:50:04.83\00:50:09.47 in those places before. I remember when I went to the 00:50:09.50\00:50:12.87 Philippines, never been to that side of the world. But a project 00:50:12.91\00:50:15.44 so I was talking to Tranquility Bay. Whatever you attempt 00:50:15.48\00:50:18.75 it has to be so big. If I could do it then I don't need Christ. 00:50:18.78\00:50:23.42 It's like faith. I always tell them that. I don't need faith 00:50:23.45\00:50:29.92 to walk all over these studios But if I close my eyes I will 00:50:29.96\00:50:34.90 need faith. I will need it. So this is how we have to do. Your 00:50:34.93\00:50:38.37 project's got to be big enough that it will fail if Christ 00:50:38.40\00:50:41.00 doesn't do it. That's how he gets the glory. That's how I can 00:50:41.04\00:50:44.94 sit here. I watch over the air. Watch a person talk on 3ABN 00:50:44.97\00:50:47.98 I wanted to come. Had a desire. But I had to trust Christ 00:50:48.01\00:50:52.85 Amen, you have to trust Christ. 00:50:52.88\00:50:55.02 It had to be some free date and now I can sit here today. 00:50:55.05\00:50:59.55 Amen, amen, amen. Wow, powerful powerful. First half of the 00:50:59.59\00:51:06.73 program here. We were blessed. I'm sure you were blessed as 00:51:06.76\00:51:09.20 well. You know we're going to be taking a break here in just a 00:51:09.23\00:51:12.87 moment and on the screen, you'll see how you can contact this 00:51:12.90\00:51:19.64 ministry. I'm sure that many of you would want to reach out to 00:51:19.67\00:51:22.81 them. So we'll be taking a short break and you can hear more 00:51:22.84\00:51:25.41 about that how to contact them and then when we come back we'll 00:51:25.45\00:51:28.65 also have some final thoughts from Brother David and Brother 00:51:28.68\00:51:33.42 Ian. So just don't go away. We'll be right back. 00:51:33.46\00:51:37.06 If you would like more information about ASI Bahamas 00:51:37.09\00:51:42.83 you can call them at (242) 556-0492 or 00:51:42.86\00:51:49.54 (242) 433-6917.
