grew up hearing from my father,

my late father, about The Great
Controversy. He has been talking

about this, you know wherever he
goes. And I was just pretending

that I know what it means so I
also, tell people you know read

the book, read the book. But
I had not actually even read the

book. There was even a time
if you're familiar with the book

there's a chapter there the
title is Luther Before the Diet

and if you've read that you know
that the Diet is actually called
00:10:48.08\00:10:54.22
the Diet of Worms. So I was
flipping through the pages and

and I was looking for worms.
When did Luther eat worms in

this chapter? I was just...I
don't know what The Great

Controversy is about. My father
died in early 2017 and I was

thinking to myself the things
that he tried to share with me

I have not even read them. But
at the same time, I don't have

the passion to read. So the Lord
actually called me to ministry

I was then in medical school.
The Lord called me to ministry

during an event here, a
revival event. It's called PYC,

Philippine Youth for Christ and
it was the first time that I was

intentional in giving my life to
Jesus. And the Lord was pulling

me stronger than my desire to go
on with life with basically no

direction. And I'm not saying
that people should leave school

but what I'm saying is, if God
is calling you then go to where

he leads and this is where I
found joy and this is also where

I began to open the
book and basically 2017

was also the 500th

year anniversary, the 500
anniversary of the protestant

reformation. And
there's something in The Great

Controversy that today when
we talk about the reformation

there's so many opinions
about it. But there in The Great

Controversy we will see how
Jesus actually fulfilled his

words when he said I will be
with you until the end of the

world, until the end of the time
that you will be preaching the

gospel to all nations and...You
know the Dark Ages were a time

that the Bible was hidden from
the public. The first part of

this and for my life it was also

His words, His promises, His joy

things happened until a local

conference, a church conference,
actually said okay so the idea

we push it. And so one pastor he

he feels really passionate about
this. He what you call this, he

raised the seed money and
there was somebody who it was

her birthday but she gave all of
her birthday budget to whatever

it took two years to actually

to be printed until the first

typically. And so we knew that

people that could not be reached

full book. I was converted by

special. And so when we saw that

Someone that really has the

so we were thinking about that,

but no one just seemed to have a

we decided to hold a meeting and

So we called Josh. We had people

right? It was a Sunday evening

and I was going to be leading
out in the meeting. And it was

the time for the meeting, the

was speaking yet and let me just
say before I go on that we had

10,000 copies of chapter one.

whom I really didn't know, he

will befriend you for various
reasons. And so he described

that he was a pastor and when I
saw that he wasn't a Seventh-day

basically, I'm very interested

have time to study the Bible
with him or minister to him but

just with a small amount
of prompting he switched his

congregation over to keep the
seventh-day Sabbath. And so a
