Tell us about... 00:06:45.80\00:06:48.50 Now many of you have seen Mary Grace play the piano 00:06:48.70\00:06:51.47 in such a beautiful way. And Mary Grace, welcome. 00:06:51.67\00:06:55.98 We're going to get to know who she is... 00:06:56.18\00:06:58.38 a little more about you. Welcome Mary Grace. 00:06:58.58\00:07:01.02 Thank you for having us. And where are you from? 00:07:01.22\00:07:03.18 The Philippines. And I live with my adopted mom Reva 00:07:03.39\00:07:07.59 in Louisiana now. 00:07:07.79\00:07:09.49 OK. You know I talked about this before the program. 00:07:09.69\00:07:13.40 And your name is Reva Moore 00:07:13.60\00:07:15.90 and you're married and when you got together 00:07:16.10\00:07:18.00 "more grace. " I love that! 00:07:18.20\00:07:21.54 He increases grace in your life. 00:07:21.94\00:07:23.71 It's so good to have you back here. 00:07:23.91\00:07:25.67 Yes. It's been a while since we've seen you, but 00:07:25.87\00:07:28.54 the Lord is good. I want to just kind of dive into 00:07:28.74\00:07:32.11 your background a little bit more. We know 00:07:32.31\00:07:33.92 both of you are from the Philippines. My heritage: 00:07:34.12\00:07:36.02 I'm from the Visayas also. 00:07:36.22\00:07:38.42 My grandfather. So it's really good to know that 00:07:38.62\00:07:41.72 we have some connection here. Yes. 00:07:41.92\00:07:43.99 But tell us a little bit about you because you have 00:07:44.19\00:07:46.96 a journey we want to talk about 00:07:47.16\00:07:48.50 how God found you and how God led in your life. 00:07:48.90\00:07:52.57 Let's start with you, Reva. 00:07:52.77\00:07:54.10 I come from a family with ten children. 00:07:55.10\00:07:57.97 I'm #7. Wow! OK. And it's tough to go to school. Yes. 00:07:58.17\00:08:02.88 So the only way to go to school is if you can find somebody 00:08:03.08\00:08:07.32 to help you. And my father was a school teacher. 00:08:07.52\00:08:10.19 My mother took care of us. 00:08:10.39\00:08:12.52 And one day I kept praying. I said: "God, 00:08:12.92\00:08:15.32 send me somebody to help me. " 00:08:15.52\00:08:17.56 Six months I prayed. 00:08:17.76\00:08:19.29 And my sister said: "You need to look for a pen pal. " 00:08:19.49\00:08:23.00 A long time ago... that was 60-something years ago. 00:08:23.40\00:08:26.43 I was 14 years old and I couldn't go to school. 00:08:26.63\00:08:29.80 And my uncle came one day 00:08:30.01\00:08:33.01 and brought a package of old Review & Heralds - 00:08:33.21\00:08:36.71 OK - that came from Memphis, Tennessee. 00:08:36.91\00:08:40.15 I saw an address label on the package. 00:08:40.35\00:08:42.48 It was kind of torn up a little bit 00:08:42.68\00:08:44.39 so that's what made me see it 00:08:44.59\00:08:46.76 because I've been looking for pictures... no names, 00:08:46.96\00:08:49.72 no addresses. And I saw this address label. 00:08:49.92\00:08:51.59 I peeled it and I didn't tell anybody. 00:08:51.79\00:08:55.43 That night I wrote to a Beryl McLarty from Memphis, TN. 00:08:55.83\00:09:00.70 She was 75 years old. Wow! I was 14. 00:09:00.90\00:09:04.07 I have a picture there of the family. Look at that! 00:09:04.27\00:09:08.54 She sent me through high school 00:09:10.11\00:09:12.51 and college: Philippine Union College 00:09:12.71\00:09:14.85 now called Adventist University of the Philippines. 00:09:15.05\00:09:17.49 AUP? AUP. 00:09:17.82\00:09:19.45 We were there! 00:09:19.65\00:09:20.99 And I found out later it was the son - 00:09:21.09\00:09:23.56 her son - who was sending me. All that. 00:09:23.76\00:09:26.19 Dr. McLarty. 00:09:26.39\00:09:29.63 He passed away - right - some years back. 00:09:29.83\00:09:32.20 He was 98 years old by the time he passed. 00:09:32.40\00:09:34.24 And I got to come to America. 00:09:34.64\00:09:36.10 They brought me over to America. 00:09:36.30\00:09:37.64 This is why I said: "God, I'm going to serve You. 00:09:37.81\00:09:42.08 I want to give back what You've done for me. " 00:09:42.48\00:09:45.65 Wow! And that's the start of the ministry. 00:09:45.98\00:09:48.92 So you came to live with that family? 00:09:49.12\00:09:51.75 I came to live with the family 00:09:51.95\00:09:53.29 and got married a year later. 00:09:53.32\00:09:57.89 We have two sons, but the sad thing is I have... 00:09:58.09\00:10:01.33 my first husband died at the age of 49 00:10:01.53\00:10:05.43 with a malignant brain tumor. Oh no! 00:10:05.63\00:10:07.50 Couldn't be done anything. 00:10:07.70\00:10:09.44 And I would dream... I always had these dreams 00:10:09.84\00:10:14.11 ahead of time and I kept dreaming about 00:10:14.31\00:10:16.51 building a house. We were always building our houses. 00:10:18.01\00:10:21.62 In the yard of my house there's an old unfinished church 00:10:21.82\00:10:26.55 looking like they see in the Philippines. Right. 00:10:26.76\00:10:29.09 And I said: "That's an eyesore. What is that doing here? " Yeah. 00:10:29.29\00:10:32.13 And for 8 years I would dream that. 00:10:32.33\00:10:34.93 I said... I think the Lord was trying to tell me 00:10:35.13\00:10:37.73 "Build Me a house. Build a new house... build Me a church. " 00:10:37.93\00:10:40.50 And my last dream... When my husband died 00:10:40.90\00:10:44.51 my last dream was like 00:10:45.01\00:10:48.64 a beautiful big church on this island. 00:10:48.84\00:10:51.91 And I saw where it was beautiful. As I said 00:10:52.31\00:10:58.29 and then I heard a voice a week after my husband's funeral 00:10:58.49\00:11:01.82 that said: "Build Me a church. " 00:11:02.02\00:11:03.63 Oh wow! And I said: "Where am I going to get the money? " 00:11:03.83\00:11:06.23 Then I remembered the life insurance of my husband. 00:11:06.63\00:11:11.47 I gave it all. It was supposed to be my kids' college money. 00:11:11.87\00:11:16.30 I built this church in the Philippines on this island. 00:11:16.81\00:11:21.48 I was instructed how big it is. It is there today. 00:11:21.68\00:11:25.25 You have a picture of that? It will be in the video. 00:11:25.65\00:11:29.35 In the video. Yes, yes. Wow! 00:11:29.55\00:11:31.52 That's when it started and I thought that was done. 00:11:31.72\00:11:35.32 I'd done what I needed to do, right? 00:11:35.52\00:11:37.09 So we went to the grand opening and I came back to the U.S. 00:11:37.29\00:11:42.30 I had another dream and in the dream, I'm seeing... 00:11:42.70\00:11:46.60 I saw this woman in white 00:11:48.57\00:11:51.17 and she said: "Come, I want you to go someplace with... " 00:11:51.37\00:11:56.01 She took me to this house and we went inside. 00:11:56.21\00:11:58.98 It was a wooden floor and on the wooden floor 00:11:59.38\00:12:02.05 I saw babies... naked, malnourished, 00:12:02.25\00:12:06.29 like they were abandoned there. 00:12:06.49\00:12:08.52 Every foot or every two feet was a baby just sitting up. Hmm. 00:12:08.72\00:12:13.19 In one area it was like a fenced-in area 00:12:13.40\00:12:16.67 babies a little older. And this woman in white told me 00:12:16.87\00:12:20.64 "Take care of them. " Wow! 00:12:20.84\00:12:23.41 Left me there, and I said: "What am I going to do with them? " 00:12:23.61\00:12:25.94 So I started with one baby. I bathed the baby. 00:12:26.14\00:12:30.05 I dried him up; put clothes on him. 00:12:30.25\00:12:32.51 I washed the floor and placed the baby one at a time 00:12:32.71\00:12:37.65 until I got done with them. Hmm. 00:12:37.85\00:12:39.39 I had no idea what those were 00:12:39.59\00:12:41.52 until I was trying to put a minister 00:12:41.92\00:12:45.99 to the church that I built. 00:12:46.19\00:12:48.53 OK. And I said... I wrote the mission and I said: 00:12:48.73\00:12:52.10 "Can you send three ministers? " They said... 00:12:52.30\00:12:55.00 A month later I did not hear anything and they said: 00:12:55.20\00:12:59.04 "We cannot... so many of them want to go to that church. " 00:12:59.24\00:13:05.01 And I said: "What do you mean so many? " 00:13:05.21\00:13:06.72 "Well we have in that mission alone 30 unemployed theology 00:13:07.52\00:13:12.09 graduates here. No salaries; they want to go. " 00:13:12.29\00:13:15.89 And that's when I realized. I said: "Why 00:13:16.76\00:13:19.69 are they unemployed? 00:13:19.89\00:13:21.23 I've lived in America for a long time. Why are they unemployed? " 00:13:22.13\00:13:24.73 "They have no funds. " And then I started looking 00:13:24.93\00:13:27.80 at other missions in the Philippines. Come to find out 00:13:28.00\00:13:30.64 of the 19 missions at that time 00:13:30.84\00:13:32.94 there were at least 30 to 50 unemployed theology graduates. 00:13:33.14\00:13:36.58 Wow! And these are 00:13:36.78\00:13:39.35 students working through the public. Some of them are 00:13:39.55\00:13:42.58 the only SDAs in the family - um-hmm - with a Revelation 00:13:42.78\00:13:47.29 series or something and then they get baptized. 00:13:47.49\00:13:50.19 The Lord calls them and then they are working students. 00:13:50.39\00:13:53.80 It took them 8 to 10 years sometimes 00:13:54.00\00:13:56.16 and then they graduate with no funds. 00:13:56.36\00:13:58.23 Wow! So the only way they can make a living 00:13:58.43\00:14:00.80 was if there's a crusade they'll be given like maybe $30 00:14:01.00\00:14:04.27 to help with that. 00:14:04.47\00:14:07.14 And God put that burden in my heart: 00:14:07.34\00:14:09.14 "You have to take care of them. " 00:14:09.34\00:14:10.95 And I said: "How am I going to do this? " 00:14:11.15\00:14:13.65 But for six months every 2 o'clock in the morning 00:14:14.65\00:14:17.59 I feel like Jesus would stand by my bed. 00:14:18.79\00:14:21.22 I was a widow at this time. 00:14:21.42\00:14:22.89 And He'd say: "Wake up! Wake up! " 00:14:23.09\00:14:25.39 Every 2 o'clock in the morning I felt Him waking me up 00:14:25.59\00:14:28.46 to say: "What are you going to do with them? " 00:14:28.66\00:14:30.43 And I said: "What am I going to do? " I'd just cry. 00:14:30.63\00:14:32.83 I would sit on my bed and I'd say: 00:14:33.03\00:14:35.30 "Find somebody else; I don't know what to do. " 00:14:35.70\00:14:37.77 But He kept at me. 00:14:37.97\00:14:41.34 I was still working full-time and one day God made it happen. 00:14:41.54\00:14:46.72 I was going to speak at a Gulfport Women's Ministry 00:14:46.92\00:14:50.55 meeting, and after I talked I was talking about 00:14:50.75\00:14:54.49 maybe building a church school 00:14:54.69\00:14:57.76 what came out of my mouth are these hundreds of unemployed 00:14:57.96\00:15:01.26 theology graduates. And when I went out after the meeting 00:15:01.46\00:15:05.20 there was a Filipino man. The only one! He was just visiting 00:15:05.60\00:15:09.34 an all-White church - wow! 00:15:09.54\00:15:12.57 and he had tears in his eyes. 00:15:12.77\00:15:14.44 He said: "I want to adopt 6 of them. " 00:15:14.64\00:15:17.81 What? And then there was an American doctor 00:15:18.01\00:15:20.88 that is still our sponsor today: "I want to adopt one of them. " 00:15:21.08\00:15:24.65 That started it. And I said: "OK I'll send him $130 a month. " 00:15:24.85\00:15:29.82 This was 23 years ago. Wow! It's still the same: 00:15:30.03\00:15:32.99 $130 a month. A month! 00:15:34.00\00:15:38.10 That's all we can give. What can that do? The $130? 00:15:38.30\00:15:42.30 Well it provides food for the family I guess. 00:15:42.50\00:15:45.77 I was always thinking like: "How do they eat? " 00:15:45.97\00:15:49.18 "How do they take care of their kids? " Yes. 00:15:49.38\00:15:51.41 But these are young people who have been called by the Lord 00:15:51.61\00:15:55.32 and so wanting to serve God. 00:15:55.52\00:15:58.95 Wow! That's amazing. And you came from a family of 10 00:15:59.15\00:16:03.86 so you know what it's like - yes - to not have. 00:16:04.06\00:16:08.76 We didn't have any clothes. Like if Christmas comes 00:16:08.96\00:16:13.34 if you didn't get a dress nobody does. 00:16:13.54\00:16:16.10 Wow! So I'm so appreciative. 00:16:16.30\00:16:18.71 So you know what it's like to struggle 00:16:18.91\00:16:20.78 so when the Lord laid... I think that's the reason why 00:16:20.98\00:16:23.04 the Lord laid it on your heart 00:16:23.24\00:16:24.58 because He knew what your humble beginnings were 00:16:24.61\00:16:26.95 so you could identify. Your country; your people. Yes. 00:16:27.15\00:16:31.82 He brought you to America not just to enjoy the 00:16:32.02\00:16:35.36 the benefits of America but to remember where you've come from 00:16:35.56\00:16:38.73 and give towards that. I want to talk about that 00:16:38.93\00:16:41.73 in a moment here, but I want to show this video 00:16:41.93\00:16:44.40 because it kind of encapsulates that. Yes. 00:16:44.60\00:16:46.94 Then right after that we're going to come back 00:16:47.14\00:16:48.60 and talk a little bit more with Mary. Yeah. 00:16:48.80\00:16:50.74 But tell us the inspiration behind this video. 00:16:50.94\00:16:53.98 It's talking about the dream that God gave you 00:16:54.18\00:16:56.48 and how that church was built. I came over here 00:16:56.68\00:17:00.25 and felt like: "I'm going to go back to school. I'm going to get 00:17:00.45\00:17:02.98 my Master's. I'm going to get this. " 00:17:03.18\00:17:04.52 And I had the dream again and this time I saw in the dream 00:17:04.72\00:17:08.32 where Jesus came and it was too late for me. 00:17:08.52\00:17:11.63 All I could say was: "Too late! Too late! " 00:17:11.83\00:17:14.66 And I put together this picture 00:17:15.06\00:17:17.90 that I put together... I think it's in there, too... 00:17:18.10\00:17:21.17 and then I just kept seeing dreams 00:17:21.37\00:17:23.61 what I will be doing in the future. All of this. 00:17:23.81\00:17:26.01 It's like God would always say: "I will be there; 00:17:26.21\00:17:28.38 I will take care of it. " 00:17:28.58\00:17:30.11 Wow! Well let's look at the video right now and then 00:17:30.31\00:17:31.88 after that, we'll come back with some continued thoughts. 00:17:32.08\00:17:35.05 Wow! Wow! 00:23:11.52\00:23:13.02 That was touching - yeah - 00:23:13.22\00:23:14.62 to see what God can do 00:23:14.82\00:23:16.49 and what He has done 00:23:16.69\00:23:18.33 through your ministry Adopt a Minister. 00:23:18.53\00:23:20.93 Looking at that the babies on the floor 00:23:21.33\00:23:24.50 were the ministers. They were the ministers. 00:23:24.70\00:23:26.47 They were the ministers from your dream. From my dream. 00:23:26.67\00:23:28.84 "What are you going to do about them? " That's right. 00:23:29.04\00:23:31.27 And out of that first, you saw 30,000 baptisms 00:23:31.67\00:23:34.61 and then 2021 80,000 baptisms AFTER COVID. 00:23:34.81\00:23:37.75 Yeah. Every year there's at least 50,000 baptisms. 00:23:37.95\00:23:41.62 And building houses for those who are unable 00:23:41.82\00:23:44.95 and providing food. And not only in the Philippines 00:23:45.15\00:23:47.29 though: Rwanda; Zimbabwe, Laos. 00:23:47.49\00:23:50.89 Wow! This is continuing. 00:23:51.29\00:23:53.19 And then also the medical aspects of it. 00:23:53.70\00:23:59.57 Oh yeah, yeah. I want to come right back to that 00:23:59.77\00:24:02.04 but I want to bring Mary Grace in here. Mary, 00:24:02.24\00:24:05.11 you're not a stranger to 3ABN. No. 00:24:05.31\00:24:07.54 But as I mentioned before and I want to reiterate this 00:24:07.74\00:24:09.98 if you're just joining us: when the Lord brought you together 00:24:10.18\00:24:12.68 it was more Grace. Mary, good to have you here. 00:24:12.88\00:24:16.99 Thank you so much for having us here. 00:24:17.19\00:24:18.79 Now we have to hear the story of how the Lord brought you 00:24:19.02\00:24:21.26 both together. Yeah, how did that come? 00:24:21.46\00:24:22.96 When I was growing up I remember that 00:24:23.16\00:24:24.99 I would pray and ask God 00:24:25.39\00:24:27.70 "I really would like to become 00:24:27.90\00:24:29.76 a missionary through my music. " 00:24:29.96\00:24:32.03 It was tough growing up. 00:24:32.23\00:24:33.77 I have... Kids would call me names. 00:24:33.97\00:24:38.01 I was rejected and all that stuff being born like this. 00:24:38.21\00:24:42.14 You were born... with a stub. 00:24:42.34\00:24:44.21 My right leg also is eight inches shorter 00:24:44.61\00:24:47.98 Really? And it only has three toes. Wow! 00:24:48.18\00:24:51.09 So I was born special I guess. 00:24:51.29\00:24:52.62 But it was really though growing up. 00:24:52.65\00:24:55.19 I was... I felt so all alone. Oh... 00:24:55.39\00:24:59.79 I cried myself to sleep 00:25:00.00\00:25:01.73 and every time I would look at myself in the mirror 00:25:01.93\00:25:03.80 I would cry. And it came to the point 00:25:04.00\00:25:07.07 where I questioned God: "What did I do so wrong 00:25:07.27\00:25:09.94 to deserve being born like this? " 00:25:10.14\00:25:11.87 However, Grandma... I am so blessed to have a Grandma 00:25:12.27\00:25:15.18 who taught me about Jesus? and she told me that 00:25:15.38\00:25:18.08 Jesus loved me regardless of how I looked. 00:25:18.28\00:25:22.02 So that's what I did. 00:25:22.22\00:25:24.09 Every time I felt alone I would talk to Jesus. 00:25:24.29\00:25:26.39 And looking back now I realize what I went through 00:25:26.59\00:25:29.42 when I was growing up it led me to God. It brought me 00:25:29.62\00:25:33.53 so much closer to Him. 00:25:33.73\00:25:35.43 I didn't have anybody but I had God. 00:25:35.63\00:25:37.57 And I realize now that He is really all I needed. 00:25:37.77\00:25:40.84 That's right! And so when I came here back in 2001 00:25:41.04\00:25:46.68 my adopted mom Reva's sister I did a concert 00:25:47.91\00:25:52.08 in Alexandria, Louisiana, 00:25:52.28\00:25:53.95 and that's where we first met. 00:25:54.15\00:25:57.19 And when we met we bonded right away. 00:25:57.39\00:25:59.79 And I praise God because He made this possible 00:25:59.99\00:26:03.83 and now I'm giving concerts for Adopt a Minister. 00:26:04.03\00:26:06.29 Now how did you learn how to play the piano? At what age? 00:26:06.49\00:26:10.97 Six years old... and Grandma, 00:26:11.17\00:26:13.70 she had to go through three piano teachers 00:26:14.10\00:26:16.77 before she was able to find one who was willing to take me. 00:26:16.97\00:26:19.81 I remember she made a bargain. 00:26:20.01\00:26:22.14 And the first piano teacher that we went to, though, 00:26:22.34\00:26:24.31 told us that we were just wasting both our time and hers 00:26:24.51\00:26:27.85 and she told us that I would never be able to play the piano 00:26:28.05\00:26:30.82 at all. Hmm. But thank God Grandma didn't give up, 00:26:31.02\00:26:33.86 you know, until she was able to find one. 00:26:34.06\00:26:35.62 And she made a bargain with the fourth teacher 00:26:35.82\00:26:37.83 and she told the teacher: "You can teach Mary Grace 00:26:38.03\00:26:40.40 even with her left hand only and I'll pay for the price 00:26:40.60\00:26:43.40 of both hands. " Wow! So the first few months 00:26:43.60\00:26:46.53 I played the piano using my left hand only. 00:26:46.74\00:26:48.40 But later on, we realized that I could also use my stub. 00:26:48.60\00:26:52.04 I modify the pieces that I play. 00:26:52.27\00:26:54.64 My stub plays mainly the melody and my left hand 00:26:54.84\00:26:57.75 picks up the rest of the chords for the right. 00:26:57.95\00:26:59.71 Wow! And we've heard your music. 00:26:59.91\00:27:01.45 I remember my first time hearing you play. 00:27:01.85\00:27:05.92 In the video, it started with this side of the piano. 00:27:06.12\00:27:09.52 I didn't see your hand and I'm hearing it: "What wonderful 00:27:09.72\00:27:11.89 music! " Then I saw that you were playing with your stub 00:27:12.09\00:27:14.93 and I thought: "What is my excuse? " 00:27:15.13\00:27:17.20 Really! My wife and I always say 00:27:17.60\00:27:20.67 "I want to take piano lessons. " 00:27:20.87\00:27:22.60 We don't do that. 00:27:22.80\00:27:24.14 We're going to eventually do that but you are an inspiration. 00:27:24.27\00:27:26.57 Oh thank you. To know that God did not... 00:27:26.78\00:27:28.64 God is not limited - 00:27:28.84\00:27:30.18 yes - by our inability. Yes. 00:27:30.38\00:27:33.45 I would say it's not our capacity 00:27:33.65\00:27:35.82 but our availability. And "I can do all things 00:27:36.02\00:27:38.89 through Christ. " Amen! Yeah. 00:27:39.09\00:27:40.49 And I know that this is His purpose. 00:27:40.69\00:27:43.09 I would like... If I can share my favorite Bible verse... 00:27:43.29\00:27:46.19 It's Psalm 139. 00:27:46.39\00:27:48.20 "For He created my inward parts. 00:27:48.76\00:27:51.23 You covered me in my mother's womb. " Ahh. 00:27:51.43\00:27:53.40 "I will praise you for I am fearfully & wonderfully made. " 00:27:53.60\00:27:58.67 Amen! "Marvelous are Your works 00:27:58.87\00:28:01.61 and that my heart knows very well. " 00:28:01.81\00:28:04.85 And it is because of... I'm sorry... I didn't mean to... 00:28:05.05\00:28:07.48 OK... that's OK. 00:28:07.68\00:28:09.02 It is because of my love for the Lord that I do what I do. 00:28:09.05\00:28:12.22 And even though I had to go through tough times 00:28:12.42\00:28:15.42 growing up, but the Lord has never left me. Never! 00:28:15.62\00:28:20.26 Yeah... He was there, and He has more than made up 00:28:20.46\00:28:25.57 for what I lacked growing up. 00:28:25.77\00:28:28.14 And He is so amazing and I love Him so much. 00:28:28.34\00:28:31.04 Wow! That's why I'm doing this: for His honor and glory. 00:28:31.24\00:28:34.14 That's right. Wow! 00:28:34.54\00:28:35.91 And so... So many verses are coming to my mind. 00:28:36.11\00:28:40.15 Paul when he says: "In our weakness His strength 00:28:40.35\00:28:42.65 is made perfect. " And so you glory in your infirmities 00:28:42.85\00:28:46.76 that the power of Christ rests upon you. 00:28:46.96\00:28:48.29 And you don't make any excuses. That's what I like about 00:28:48.46\00:28:51.39 what you do. You don't say: "Well, I can't do that. " 00:28:51.59\00:28:53.29 People only see what you can't do, but God says: 00:28:53.50\00:28:56.06 "Hey, there's no can't in Mary Grace's life. " 00:28:56.26\00:28:59.03 What a word; what a name: Grace. 00:28:59.23\00:29:01.34 You're showing people what grace is all about. 00:29:01.54\00:29:03.74 So I want to get Reva's side of this adoption 00:29:03.94\00:29:06.57 before we get together. Does she have siblings? 00:29:06.78\00:29:09.34 Yes. When she came... when I found out 00:29:09.54\00:29:14.72 this is the answer to my prayer because I said: "God, 00:29:14.92\00:29:17.22 I'm working full-time. I cannot do this 00:29:17.42\00:29:20.66 because 12 o'clock midnight I'm still working 00:29:20.86\00:29:23.49 at Adopt A Minister. You know I started with 60: 00:29:23.69\00:29:25.56 60 theology graduates 00:29:25.76\00:29:29.20 getting $130 00:29:29.40\00:29:32.30 and end up pastoring for 3 years 00:29:32.50\00:29:34.94 hundreds and hundreds of them already are employed. 00:29:35.14\00:29:37.94 And we still have about 350 00:29:38.14\00:29:40.51 mostly new now. Wow! So we keep 350. 00:29:40.71\00:29:44.58 And I said: "God, I need help. " So this is when she came. 00:29:44.78\00:29:48.38 And then God showed me again in another dream 00:29:48.58\00:29:52.49 that somebody was getting married. 00:29:52.69\00:29:54.66 Come to find out I was getting married... re-married. 00:29:54.86\00:29:57.29 And then I saw her in the dream, too. 00:29:57.79\00:30:00.56 And so with the 3 of us: 00:30:00.76\00:30:02.53 my... Mr. Moore - J. R. Moore - we do this. 00:30:02.73\00:30:07.17 D. R. does all the other stuff. 00:30:07.57\00:30:10.81 She does stuff. We kind of work together. 00:30:11.01\00:30:14.94 It cannot be done by just one. 00:30:15.14\00:30:17.15 That's right. So I do all the sending of funds. 00:30:17.35\00:30:20.72 She does all the receipts. 00:30:20.92\00:30:22.55 D. R. takes care of the house and the driving for us. 00:30:22.75\00:30:24.99 Hey, we've got a driver. 00:30:25.19\00:30:26.52 That's right. On the move for the Lord. 00:30:26.55\00:30:29.02 Wonderful. How many ministers, do you have today? 00:30:29.22\00:30:32.86 We have about 350. 00:30:33.06\00:30:34.96 Three hundred fifty! Some more are applying. 00:30:35.16\00:30:37.17 These are new graduates 00:30:37.37\00:30:38.77 but hundreds. I don't want to make a count 00:30:38.97\00:30:41.07 because it's not my work. 00:30:41.27\00:30:42.60 And I feel like there's over 1,000 already have been 00:30:42.74\00:30:47.28 so I do not count. 00:30:47.48\00:30:50.85 Right. You just say: "One more, one more, one more. " Yes. 00:30:51.05\00:30:53.48 God provides. And so always before we'd say 00:30:53.68\00:30:56.12 "Mom, I know... I know you. " 00:30:56.32\00:30:59.55 I know by name... not necessarily by face. 00:30:59.75\00:31:02.79 But the older ones I know by face and names. 00:31:02.99\00:31:05.73 So these ones now are new graduates and it's just a list. 00:31:05.93\00:31:09.96 That's right. But I met them last January. 00:31:10.43\00:31:14.50 Oh, you did? And they all came with their blue 00:31:14.90\00:31:17.94 outfits and I said: 00:31:18.14\00:31:20.84 "I wish I would remember you but maybe someday in heaven 00:31:21.04\00:31:24.31 I will say: "Yes, you were our adopted minister. ' " 00:31:24.51\00:31:27.62 Like a Schindler. Exactly. 00:31:27.82\00:31:29.92 Now this is a program... You just alluded to that. 00:31:30.12\00:31:34.09 Oskar Schindler years ago. 00:31:34.49\00:31:36.59 There's a movie called Schindler's List 00:31:36.79\00:31:38.89 how he helped so many people that were disadvantaged 00:31:39.29\00:31:41.76 during the time of the Jews. 00:31:41.96\00:31:43.30 And God just looks for once again not our ability 00:31:43.47\00:31:46.63 but our availability. 00:31:46.84\00:31:48.17 And you said: "Here I am... send me. " 00:31:48.34\00:31:50.31 And tell us about this young lady that was singing 00:31:50.51\00:31:53.34 in the video. Oh yeah. I was amazed. She was singing 00:31:53.54\00:31:55.68 on tune... not off-pitch. 00:31:55.88\00:31:57.35 Beautiful! Such compassion and conviction. 00:31:57.75\00:32:03.25 That's my oldest granddaughter Kaitlyn Sine Wallace. 00:32:03.45\00:32:06.72 And she started singing when she was like 4 years old. 00:32:06.92\00:32:09.69 She sang before she spoke. 00:32:09.89\00:32:11.89 Wow! And she started singing this... I don't know where 00:32:12.09\00:32:14.96 she learned all the songs from 00:32:15.16\00:32:16.50 but I said... we would video & I said: "I'm gonna use this one. " 00:32:16.67\00:32:21.40 So when we were putting this together I put the music... 00:32:21.60\00:32:25.67 She's 12 years old now. All right! But she can sing. 00:32:25.87\00:32:29.14 She loves to sing for Jesus. 00:32:29.34\00:32:30.68 And she always says when she prays: 00:32:30.71\00:32:33.21 "I want to share You to the world through my music. " 00:32:33.42\00:32:36.55 Now when she prays: "I want to share the gospel - 00:32:36.75\00:32:39.15 Your gospel - to the world through my music. " 00:32:39.35\00:32:42.29 Wow! That's amazing. 00:32:42.49\00:32:43.83 Now your ministry we looked at but there's a component 00:32:44.03\00:32:47.26 I want to come back to because you not only are 00:32:47.46\00:32:49.36 working with people theologi- cally and providing clothing 00:32:49.56\00:32:51.97 and food and homes for people that are disadvantaged 00:32:52.17\00:32:54.17 that can't afford one. 00:32:54.37\00:32:55.70 But there's a medical side that's just a part of the video. 00:32:55.74\00:32:58.17 Talk about that. And there's a particular story 00:32:58.37\00:33:00.54 you want to highlight. Just tell us about that. 00:33:00.74\00:33:02.91 Our ministers usually will go door-to-door 00:33:04.58\00:33:07.32 to give Bible studies or do visitations 00:33:07.52\00:33:10.19 and they will run into somebody with a huge gigantic tumor. 00:33:10.39\00:33:14.19 And they would take pictures and send to me: "Mom, 00:33:14.39\00:33:17.13 can we help them? " And I said... "You know... " 00:33:17.33\00:33:20.53 So what I would do is: "Give me their story. " 00:33:20.73\00:33:23.40 And I would send it to our newsletter and I noticed 00:33:23.60\00:33:25.80 that some of our sponsors would rather give to that. 00:33:26.00\00:33:28.30 And so they do the surgeries in our Adventist hospital. 00:33:28.70\00:33:33.38 And then there's hundreds of them already. Hmm! 00:33:33.58\00:33:37.05 Our last one here... Last night I just got a phone call 00:33:37.25\00:33:42.48 and I don't know what they're going to do. 00:33:42.68\00:33:44.02 I said: "I'm going to show his picture today 00:33:44.09\00:33:46.62 and let the Lord decide. " 00:33:46.82\00:33:48.56 Because as of now two hospitals already gave up. 00:33:48.76\00:33:53.26 They said they cannot do it. 00:33:53.46\00:33:54.96 And I said: "Well you know it's God that still 00:33:55.16\00:33:57.67 who wants to make the decision. " 00:33:57.87\00:33:59.50 If this boy said: "I don't want to die like this. 00:33:59.83\00:34:03.41 I know I will die. I don't want to die like this. " 00:34:03.61\00:34:05.64 And what do you do? 00:34:05.84\00:34:07.98 Let's look at this picture. We have a picture of him. 00:34:08.18\00:34:10.05 Oh... poor thing. 00:34:11.48\00:34:13.31 His ear is right here. OK. 00:34:13.52\00:34:16.05 He's young! Nineteen years old. 00:34:16.25\00:34:18.52 Nineteen! His name is Depoclite 00:34:18.72\00:34:22.16 and he just wants to have a chance. 00:34:22.69\00:34:26.53 So these people that donate finance these surgeries. 00:34:26.73\00:34:30.77 It depends on... like we saw in the video. Yeah. 00:34:30.97\00:34:33.47 It depends. When I make the newsletter 00:34:33.67\00:34:35.67 if they say: "We want to help with this one. " 00:34:35.87\00:34:37.21 "We want to help a church building. " 00:34:37.41\00:34:38.77 So it depends on what they want 00:34:39.17\00:34:42.41 and generally it's like they would send... 00:34:42.61\00:34:45.41 I know it's for stipends. OK. 00:34:45.61\00:34:48.58 This is amazing. I'm just really taken aback by... 00:34:49.65\00:34:53.05 What's a Gumending? Gumending? Yes. 00:34:53.25\00:34:56.93 His story: This is a rebel 00:34:57.43\00:35:02.20 like in the southern part of Mindanao. 00:35:03.93\00:35:05.70 They have classes: Christians and Muslims. 00:35:07.14\00:35:12.51 And Gumending is one of those. He was 00:35:12.71\00:35:17.35 paid to kill people. Hmm! OK? 00:35:18.81\00:35:22.15 He told his story. Paid to kill people. It's on YouTube. 00:35:22.35\00:35:25.75 And one day he said a bus ran over him to kill him. 00:35:26.15\00:35:31.93 Hmm! Well, he didn't get killed. He moved 00:35:32.13\00:35:34.23 so the bus went back and tried to kill him again. 00:35:34.43\00:35:36.50 Well he did not get killed 00:35:36.70\00:35:38.03 and he was taken to one of our SDA hospitals 00:35:38.13\00:35:41.04 and there he found Jesus. 00:35:41.24\00:35:43.27 And during... while he was there 00:35:43.47\00:35:46.17 he was asked to go and attend one of those 00:35:46.37\00:35:49.74 seminars in the hospital area. OK. 00:35:49.94\00:35:52.51 And when they were making an appeal and they said 00:35:52.71\00:35:55.78 "Who wants to get baptized? " 00:35:55.98\00:35:59.32 he couldn't move really. And he said he saw his arm lifting up. 00:35:59.52\00:36:02.72 And they said: "Do you want to get baptized? 00:36:02.92\00:36:06.23 Why are you raising your hand? " 00:36:06.43\00:36:07.76 "I don't know. " 00:36:07.96\00:36:10.07 Well anyway, he got baptized. 00:36:10.27\00:36:11.60 He was sent to Mt. View College and graduated with theology. 00:36:11.67\00:36:16.04 Now he goes back every day to his people 00:36:16.24\00:36:19.97 sharing Jesus with them. Amen! 00:36:20.18\00:36:22.71 We helped him. A miracle! Wow! 00:36:22.91\00:36:25.65 He didn't even know his hand was going up. 00:36:25.85\00:36:27.65 The angel probably raised his hand. 00:36:27.85\00:36:30.32 "All that you've done, you need to give your life to the Lord. " 00:36:30.52\00:36:35.09 That's amazing. Beautiful story! 00:36:35.29\00:36:37.53 Mary Grace: what about you? You had a broken femur? Yes. 00:36:37.73\00:36:42.26 Share with us about that. That was back in 2014 00:36:42.46\00:36:45.20 and I was at Atlanta airport. 00:36:45.40\00:36:48.14 I was supposed to be going to Boston 00:36:48.34\00:36:50.01 to play in one of the churches there during their Disability 00:36:50.21\00:36:53.31 Awareness weekends, and I was getting ready to board. 00:36:53.51\00:36:57.48 Since I am wearing an elevated shoe 00:36:57.88\00:37:01.48 if I step on something even as tiny as a tic-tac 00:37:01.68\00:37:04.92 sometimes it can throw me off. 00:37:05.12\00:37:06.65 I was standing in the jet bridge, and the moment I took 00:37:07.06\00:37:09.52 my next step I fell and I broke my right femur. 00:37:09.72\00:37:13.40 I was in Atlanta all by myself. 00:37:13.60\00:37:15.56 I travel alone most of the time. 00:37:15.76\00:37:17.60 And the first 30 minutes I didn't have any pain. 00:37:18.00\00:37:21.14 You can imagine how terrified I was... I was alone. 00:37:21.34\00:37:24.04 So the first 30 minutes I didn't have any pain 00:37:24.24\00:37:27.58 so I was thinking maybe I could catch the next flight back home. 00:37:27.78\00:37:30.95 Yeah... and I prayed and I prayed. 00:37:31.15\00:37:35.92 I was terrified, and finally 45 minutes into it 00:37:36.12\00:37:40.59 the pain was excruciating 00:37:40.79\00:37:42.76 that I could not even lift my leg. 00:37:42.96\00:37:45.46 So they had to take me to a nearby hospital in Atlanta. 00:37:45.86\00:37:49.06 I stayed there for about a week 00:37:49.26\00:37:51.57 and my adoptive parents... they drove from Baton Rouge 00:37:51.77\00:37:54.30 to pick me up. 00:37:54.50\00:37:56.57 And then after that we drove back to Baton Rouge. 00:37:56.77\00:37:59.91 I saw a local orthopedic surgeon and they did an X-ray 00:38:00.11\00:38:04.35 only to find out that the bones were not connecting. 00:38:04.55\00:38:07.42 But prior to that, I had never been to a hospital 00:38:07.62\00:38:10.79 or seen a doctor all my life - Wow! up to that day. 00:38:10.99\00:38:13.49 And I started to question God, you know? Yes. 00:38:13.89\00:38:17.13 And I kind of got mad at Him 'cause it took me a long time 00:38:17.33\00:38:22.06 before I had finally accepted my disability 00:38:22.26\00:38:24.70 made peace with my past and something like this happened. 00:38:24.90\00:38:27.87 Right. All of a sudden you say: "Why, Lord? " 00:38:28.07\00:38:30.64 "Now a broken leg? " 00:38:30.91\00:38:33.88 Yeah, but I am so blessed to have a very supportive 00:38:34.08\00:38:37.41 and prayerful support system and they made me realize 00:38:37.61\00:38:40.88 that I should thank God instead. 00:38:41.08\00:38:42.72 Why? Because had it been my good leg or arm 00:38:42.92\00:38:45.42 or had it been my stub 00:38:45.62\00:38:47.29 it probably would have been worse, you know? 00:38:47.49\00:38:49.22 Right. The devil was trying to stop me from serving God 00:38:49.42\00:38:52.19 but I'm glad I know to whom I belong. Amen! 00:38:52.39\00:38:55.30 That's right. Did you ever go back and do the concert? Yes! 00:38:55.50\00:38:57.30 Finally two months later... two months later 00:38:57.50\00:39:00.57 I went back there and gave a concert at the church. 00:39:00.77\00:39:04.04 Ohh... The devil tried to stop you. Yeah. 00:39:04.24\00:39:06.11 You're living on God's grace... no pun intended here. 00:39:06.91\00:39:09.84 You needed grace all the way through 00:39:10.05\00:39:12.35 and you have to see that these hiccups in life 00:39:12.65\00:39:17.15 don't prevent God's work from continuing. 00:39:17.35\00:39:19.62 I usually end my... Whenever I do a concert 00:39:19.82\00:39:22.52 one of my favorite pieces is My Tribute to God. 00:39:22.72\00:39:27.50 To God be the glory. 00:39:27.70\00:39:29.03 And you know just the words of the song: "How can I say thanks 00:39:29.06\00:39:33.23 for the things You have done for me? 00:39:33.44\00:39:35.50 Things so undeserved... yet You gave to prove your love for me. 00:39:35.90\00:39:41.01 The voices of a million angels 00:39:41.21\00:39:42.94 could not express my gratitude. 00:39:43.14\00:39:45.91 All that I am and ever hope to be 00:39:46.11\00:39:49.98 I owe it all to Thee. " 00:39:50.49\00:39:55.26 To God be the glory! That song is so inspired. Yes! 00:39:55.46\00:39:58.66 You know, you're making us choke up here. 00:39:58.86\00:40:00.63 That's not supposed to happen. 00:40:00.83\00:40:02.26 I'm sorry. It's OK... it's fine. 00:40:02.46\00:40:05.83 But that's once again more grace. 00:40:06.03\00:40:08.10 God's grace is sufficient for us. Yes! 00:40:08.30\00:40:11.17 And then coming back to you, Mrs. Moore. 00:40:12.11\00:40:15.54 Talk about the Filipino church. 00:40:15.94\00:40:19.85 Oh the church... yes, yes. 00:40:20.05\00:40:22.02 That's been guarded by angels from the sea pirates. 00:40:22.22\00:40:25.05 OK. They told me that's the only place 00:40:25.25\00:40:28.96 near the ocean - OK, it has a beach - that's the only place 00:40:29.16\00:40:32.79 that's not entered by sea pirates. 00:40:32.99\00:40:36.93 And then I found out... I remember the story where 00:40:37.13\00:40:40.10 the neighbors would see this 00:40:40.30\00:40:44.04 white... woman in white... 00:40:44.24\00:40:46.94 had built a guest house there. 00:40:47.14\00:40:49.54 This was shown to me in a dream. 00:40:49.74\00:40:51.58 So it took like... 2000 we built the church. 00:40:51.78\00:40:55.02 2011 we built this 2-story house. 00:40:55.22\00:40:58.15 Everything there I said: "Wow! I saw them in my dream. " 00:40:58.35\00:41:01.09 So what the neighbors are saying 00:41:01.29\00:41:04.33 is that they would see this white... woman in white 00:41:04.53\00:41:07.86 walk from the front of the guest house, 00:41:08.06\00:41:10.37 go along around the church, 00:41:10.57\00:41:15.00 and this is how it's guarded 00:41:15.20\00:41:18.87 because it's away from the town. 00:41:19.07\00:41:20.88 It's right there. Easily vulnerable - 00:41:21.04\00:41:23.45 VERY vulnerable - if people decide to attack it. 00:41:23.65\00:41:25.45 And so I just say: "God, it's Yours. It's not mine. " 00:41:25.65\00:41:28.98 When they see that white lady there they're scared to even 00:41:29.18\00:41:32.72 go there. Guarding the church! 00:41:32.92\00:41:35.49 "The angel of the Lord encampeth round about them. " Amen! 00:41:35.69\00:41:37.86 And I have another angel story. Yes! 00:41:38.06\00:41:40.93 I would send my funds... We have a Philippine coordinator 00:41:41.63\00:41:45.53 named Darlene over in Davao 00:41:45.73\00:41:48.57 and I would send the money to her. 00:41:48.77\00:41:52.04 And used to that she would give the money, the cash. 00:41:52.24\00:41:55.94 OK. She would go to the bank, whatever. 00:41:56.14\00:41:58.45 This was years ago. 00:41:58.65\00:42:00.15 And they were wondering like 00:42:00.35\00:42:04.82 people would see like why is she sitting there? 00:42:05.02\00:42:10.76 and there's another person. 00:42:10.96\00:42:12.53 They would see an angel guarding her 00:42:12.93\00:42:14.50 at the restaurant or... Oh my! 00:42:14.70\00:42:18.27 And it's like... The motorcycle? On the motorcycle. 00:42:18.47\00:42:21.20 The tricycle. You know they have tricycles over there. 00:42:21.40\00:42:23.61 Well, she had to pay for two. 00:42:23.81\00:42:26.61 She's the only one there. What? 00:42:26.81\00:42:29.11 So these angels are real! 00:42:29.31\00:42:31.38 She couldn't even see the angel but other people did. 00:42:31.58\00:42:34.98 Yeah. And now we've made it a lot better 00:42:35.18\00:42:39.15 where she doesn't touch the cash. 00:42:39.35\00:42:41.59 I send the stipends 00:42:42.09\00:42:44.26 and all she does is transfer through her bank account now. 00:42:44.46\00:42:47.30 The deputy minister has a change... bank account... 00:42:47.50\00:42:51.80 so she never touches money... just transferring. 00:42:52.00\00:42:54.20 The angel did that too, in a sense. 00:42:54.40\00:42:56.00 That's beautiful! That's amazing. 00:42:57.11\00:42:58.57 You can't doubt some of these things. 00:42:58.77\00:43:00.38 The people are saying you have to pay for two. 00:43:00.58\00:43:02.04 "I'm by myself... what do you mean? " 00:43:02.54\00:43:04.78 "No, the lady with you. " Yeah, when she was... they asked her 00:43:04.98\00:43:09.05 "Your companion on the stool there. " 00:43:09.25\00:43:13.36 And she doesn't even see. No. 00:43:14.49\00:43:16.36 Now I want to talk about some of your ministry needs. 00:43:16.56\00:43:19.79 You have some great stories we might come back to 00:43:20.00\00:43:21.46 but talk about some of the ministry needs. Yes! 00:43:21.66\00:43:23.37 You made it obviously apparent that there are ministers... 00:43:23.57\00:43:26.33 you don't even keep track of how many... 00:43:26.53\00:43:28.07 that are still graduating. Their needs are still there. 00:43:28.27\00:43:30.91 Houses still need to be built; people cannot afford 00:43:31.07\00:43:34.04 basic needs. The medical needs. Talk about some of those 00:43:34.24\00:43:37.11 because we have people watching and listening 00:43:37.31\00:43:39.38 that may say: "Hey, I can't go to the Philippines 00:43:39.58\00:43:41.52 or Zimbabwe or Laos or Rwanda but I can help. " 00:43:41.72\00:43:45.35 Or the medical needs. The medical needs, yes. 00:43:45.55\00:43:47.46 God decided that through this ministry 00:43:48.66\00:43:51.03 so many of the theology graduates that were not employed 00:43:51.23\00:43:54.43 right away are able to get stipends 00:43:54.63\00:43:57.17 and then, however... and they need churches. 00:43:57.37\00:44:01.40 So when somebody sends funds 00:44:02.20\00:44:06.68 normally it goes to the stipends first. 00:44:06.88\00:44:09.91 I have to make sure. We're late now by about a month 00:44:10.11\00:44:12.61 because we are low... we don't have any stipends. 00:44:12.81\00:44:15.12 A lot of our elderly sponsors in the last 23 years have died. 00:44:15.32\00:44:18.65 Are resting in Jesus. So we need new ones. 00:44:18.85\00:44:21.29 We are willing to continue doing this for as long as 00:44:22.32\00:44:25.16 we could until He comes. That's right. 00:44:25.36\00:44:27.80 But we need funds. 00:44:28.00\00:44:29.93 And really every dollar donation goes. We don't get paid. 00:44:30.13\00:44:33.97 We volunteer our time. Our availability? 00:44:34.17\00:44:36.50 We have volunteered our time. I like that. 00:44:36.71\00:44:38.87 Availability. So churches. Food for the hungry 00:44:39.77\00:44:43.78 and for the patients. We have so many patients but 00:44:43.98\00:44:47.58 we cannot really... Only the very desperate ones 00:44:47.78\00:44:51.19 I can say: "I think I can make an appeal for this one. " 00:44:51.39\00:44:53.86 You know? It's not like "OK, somebody has a fever. " 00:44:54.06\00:44:57.66 Extreme cases. Extreme. 00:44:57.86\00:45:01.13 And so many of them are serving the Lord today. 00:45:01.33\00:45:05.20 Non-Adventist but are SDA. 00:45:05.40\00:45:08.27 One has a son who is a layman. Um-hmm. 00:45:08.47\00:45:11.44 A SDA. They found Jesus through the surgeries. 00:45:11.64\00:45:14.78 Wow! Just beautiful! 00:45:15.04\00:45:18.78 That's amazing. So I want to just briefly talk 00:45:18.98\00:45:21.08 to our audience because they have some amazing stories 00:45:21.28\00:45:23.69 we want to come back to. But you have been listening, 00:45:23.89\00:45:26.86 you've been watching and you could see. 00:45:27.06\00:45:29.62 I make no pun about it: God's grace is increasing 00:45:29.82\00:45:33.43 for Reva and Mary. 00:45:33.63\00:45:35.16 I even told them they should start a ministry 00:45:36.43\00:45:38.33 called More Grace. 00:45:38.53\00:45:39.87 But you'll get the information before the program is over 00:45:40.00\00:45:42.67 on how you can adopt a minister. 00:45:42.87\00:45:45.24 How you can help in the medical outreaches. 00:45:45.44\00:45:47.64 How you can make a difference. 00:45:47.84\00:45:49.18 And what I want you not to forget is that 00:45:49.31\00:45:51.01 Reva just said there are many people that have sponsored 00:45:51.21\00:45:54.75 throughout the years that can't do it any longer. 00:45:54.95\00:45:57.49 They've passed away... they're resting in the Lord. 00:45:57.65\00:46:00.26 They have done their work and through the ministers 00:46:00.46\00:46:03.36 their labor, their works do follow them. 00:46:03.56\00:46:06.46 People being baptized; people coming to the Lord. 00:46:06.86\00:46:09.10 There's also a story... I want to just add this to this 00:46:09.50\00:46:11.90 about the person that found Jesus while incarcerated. 00:46:12.10\00:46:16.37 Right. Talk about that. 00:46:16.77\00:46:18.11 So many of them actually have found Jesus in jail. 00:46:19.27\00:46:22.84 I call it in jail. Um-hmm. 00:46:23.04\00:46:24.38 And I went to see some of them. Last January 00:46:24.48\00:46:28.65 I went to the prison ministry because we send money for food. 00:46:28.85\00:46:32.65 They don't have food much if you're incarcerated. 00:46:33.25\00:46:36.49 And I would tell them that... I spoke to them 00:46:36.99\00:46:40.50 and they have tears in their eyes. They say: 00:46:40.70\00:46:42.50 "I was once an elder but here I am. " 00:46:42.70\00:46:46.43 Or some of them... I encourage them. I said: 00:46:46.84\00:46:50.41 "You know, whatever it took God for you to go back or find Him 00:46:50.61\00:46:55.91 I'm sorry that it has to be this, but 00:46:56.11\00:46:58.18 He knew this is the way. " So many of them are there 00:46:58.38\00:47:03.75 and we have so many baptisms in prison. 00:47:03.95\00:47:08.32 And they found Jesus. Amen! 00:47:08.52\00:47:11.03 That's beautiful! How often do you get to go back 00:47:11.43\00:47:14.66 to the Philippines? I don't want to go back actually. 00:47:14.86\00:47:17.70 It's so hard for me now, you know. 00:47:17.90\00:47:19.23 The last time I went was 2019. 00:47:19.63\00:47:22.04 And then this time I had no plans of going back. 00:47:22.24\00:47:25.31 It's hard for me to travel. 00:47:25.51\00:47:27.14 My sister said: "I'm going to the Philippines. " 00:47:27.34\00:47:30.55 "OK... I think I'm going to go. " 00:47:30.75\00:47:32.65 I said: "God, am I going? " 00:47:33.05\00:47:35.02 I have a dream notebook where I write my dreams. 00:47:35.22\00:47:37.69 I'll look it up. I saw where two girls 00:47:37.89\00:47:41.32 travel far away and they met in some place 00:47:41.52\00:47:44.63 and the details. And I said: "I guess I'm going. " 00:47:44.83\00:47:47.50 Wow! So I went last January. 00:47:47.70\00:47:50.17 Mary, have you gone? No. 00:47:50.37\00:47:52.63 Because I travel so much and it takes 24 hours 00:47:52.83\00:47:55.10 I mean you know from Louisiana. Yes. 00:47:55.30\00:47:57.11 That is a long way. I know. 00:47:57.31\00:47:59.41 And if you travel just about every weekend for concerts 00:47:59.61\00:48:01.64 all over the U.S. Yeah... 00:48:01.84\00:48:04.15 Do that in Heritage? I know. In Heritage, I used to do that. 00:48:04.35\00:48:07.32 But... So your ministry is just continuing to thrive 00:48:07.72\00:48:10.79 but it does have needs. 00:48:10.99\00:48:13.36 And we just want to let our viewers know 00:48:13.76\00:48:17.23 and our listeners, cause there's some people listening on radio. 00:48:17.43\00:48:19.73 You know, honey, what's on your heart when you think about 00:48:20.33\00:48:23.13 what's happening here? My heart is FULL. 00:48:23.33\00:48:26.00 I'm just thinking what the Lord is doing through you. 00:48:26.20\00:48:28.94 Both of you. You're ministering 00:48:29.14\00:48:30.67 through music and you're ministering through... 00:48:30.87\00:48:33.88 You're here in the U.S. 00:48:34.08\00:48:35.74 but your heart is in the Philippines. 00:48:35.94\00:48:37.71 And other times in Zimbabwe. 00:48:37.91\00:48:39.48 That's right! And in Rwanda and Laos 00:48:39.68\00:48:42.28 and wherever the Lord opens the door. 00:48:42.48\00:48:44.39 How did those doors get open for Africa? 00:48:44.59\00:48:47.49 They saw us on 3ABN. This is our fifth time on 3ABN. 00:48:47.89\00:48:53.50 I thank God - thank you 3ABN - for doing this for us. 00:48:53.70\00:48:58.13 And I would get students from Rwanda or from Laos 00:48:58.33\00:49:03.17 that say: "Mom! I want to go to Mountain View College 00:49:03.37\00:49:05.01 to take theology. Can I go? " 00:49:05.21\00:49:08.21 So we have several there, and they go back to their countries. 00:49:08.41\00:49:11.48 After we sponsor their... This is why we NEED 00:49:11.68\00:49:16.12 more sponsors so that we can help these young people. 00:49:16.32\00:49:20.19 After they graduate they go back to their countries. 00:49:20.39\00:49:22.79 There are still so many coun- tries that need to know Jesus. 00:49:23.83\00:49:26.90 Yes! That's right. We use the phrase and I notice 00:49:27.10\00:49:29.63 in the video you did... you had the word harvest. 00:49:29.83\00:49:31.87 The harvest is ripe but the laborers are few. 00:49:32.07\00:49:34.60 It's amazing. I was telling my wife: you know 00:49:34.80\00:49:37.14 we didn't even know we were go- ing to be talking to you today 00:49:37.34\00:49:39.14 and last night I was talking about the harvest. 00:49:39.34\00:49:41.74 I said: "Wow! The harvest is great! " 00:49:41.94\00:49:44.71 And here we are today talking about the harvest. Yes. 00:49:44.91\00:49:46.25 No coincidence... not at all. 00:49:46.45\00:49:48.52 God always works things out. 00:49:48.72\00:49:50.25 He showed you. He showed me and then 00:49:50.45\00:49:53.09 we look at the program and it says 00:49:53.29\00:49:54.62 we're going to talk about the harvest. 00:49:54.72\00:49:56.06 Now Mary Grace, you travel and play piano. 00:49:56.09\00:50:00.20 How do you get your concerts? How does that come about? 00:50:00.40\00:50:02.76 Oh sometimes through word of mouth. 00:50:02.96\00:50:05.70 And a lot of them saw me from 3ABN... which I'm 00:50:05.90\00:50:09.80 truly grateful... and so, yeah... 00:50:10.01\00:50:13.78 I don't drive actually and sometimes you know 00:50:13.98\00:50:16.78 if you think about it you go to a place 00:50:16.98\00:50:19.55 where you don't know anybody you know 00:50:19.75\00:50:21.48 but I know that God is there with me. 00:50:21.68\00:50:23.39 And so far wherever I go people have been very helpful, 00:50:23.59\00:50:27.89 accommodating, and nice to me. 00:50:28.09\00:50:29.76 Now you have siblings too? 00:50:30.16\00:50:32.39 I have three younger brothers. Oh you do! 00:50:32.59\00:50:36.00 Where are they? Actually two in Australia 00:50:36.20\00:50:38.73 and one in the Philippines. 00:50:38.93\00:50:40.27 OK... all the way. So you're the only one here in America then? 00:50:40.34\00:50:46.01 Yes. God has a purpose for you being here. 00:50:46.21\00:50:49.38 Do you both travel together at all? 00:50:49.78\00:50:52.58 Not yet but I'm so blessed 00:50:52.98\00:50:56.72 whenever she gets to come with me 00:50:56.92\00:50:59.02 you know when I travel, yes. 00:50:59.22\00:51:00.56 It's a full-time ministry. Yes... yes. 00:51:00.76\00:51:02.12 Wonderful! And usually when I travel 00:51:02.32\00:51:05.53 what I do is show a video of Adopt a Minister 00:51:05.73\00:51:09.50 to get the word around, but I know that it's the Holy Spirit's 00:51:09.70\00:51:13.44 job to touch peoples' hearts. 00:51:13.70\00:51:15.54 I like how you work together. Yes. Beautiful! 00:51:15.74\00:51:18.57 You know I can't help but think that our audience is probably 00:51:18.77\00:51:21.81 wondering. I know that you do not meet all the pastors 00:51:22.01\00:51:24.15 that you've sponsored but I can't help but think 00:51:24.35\00:51:26.95 that one day the Lord will say: "Reva, 00:51:27.15\00:51:31.19 well done thou good and faithful servant. " 00:51:31.39\00:51:32.99 And the information that you need to support this ministry 00:51:33.39\00:51:36.52 is going to appear on the screen in just a moment. 00:51:36.73\00:51:38.76 We're going to take a short break - yeah - and right after 00:51:38.96\00:51:40.66 we'll be right back for a few closing thoughts. 00:51:40.86\00:51:43.00
