And of course, my
family were Adventist, but what

made them only Adventist was
going to church every Sabbath.

They were still
into the secular world.

We still listened
to the worldly music,

watched all the worldly movies.

So it was a lot easier
for me to leave the faith.

So as I got older into high
school, I joined the military.

Did 20 years in the Air Force.

So I got stationed in Nebraska.

And within my third year

that's when I
started hanging out with the

wrong type of crowd.

drinking, I started smoking,

thing led to another.

to do with the Lord at all.

life I got into bad habits.

know, I got into motorcycles.

motorcycle that I bought was a

I got into that,
and then I started

hanging out at the biker bars.

And I got really intrigued
into the motorcycle club.

And so, I got
introduced to a motorcycle club

that I wanted to be in.

And for you to be in that
club, you have to be invited.

So I got invited
to be in that club.

I hung around for three months,
and then the club member has to

do a 100% vote if they
want to have you in the club.

And you have to
prospect for a whole year.

and I prospected for
this club for one year.

And it was real easy
for me to prospect because

I went through boot camp...

These weren't sweet little
Christian motorcycle clubs.

This was a bad boy club, right?

So when I got into
the motorcycle world

and I started
prospecting for this club,

it didn't really
reflect Christ at all.

You know, it did everything
what Christ does opposite.

You know, what the
devil wants you to do.

And so, I did
that for five years.

And God was tugging my heart.

And He kept me safe throughout
the whole entire time.

And I remember, you
know, "Train up a child..."

and you remember the
things that your mom taught you.

And I remembered the
things that my mom taught me

when I was a lot younger.

And the Holy Spirit started
bringing things back to me.

I remember, I was
getting sick at one time,

and I changed my
diet from eating meat

to plant-based in one day.

And that's when I
started cleaning up,

and that's when I
started hearing the Holy Spirit

even more and more, and saying,
"Hey, what are you doing?"

One day I just went up to
my club member and I said,

"Hey, I want to
follow Christ again,

and I want to give up this
lifestyle that I'm living in.

It doesn't
reflect Christ at all."

And they were in shock.

And so, I turned in
all my color, my vest,

everything that had
to do with club stuff.

I gave everything up; you know,
the belt, the hats, everything.

And that's when the
Holy Spirit turned me around.

It was a process, and
that's why, you know, like

2 Corinthians 5:17
says, "Therefore, if any man

be in Christ, he
is a new creature

and old things are passed away."

And that's what God
started doing to me.

He was changing
me in that process.

But at the same time,
He was letting me know,

And it's going to be a process.

And that's what He did.

I've given my life to God,

where I decided

It was little over a year later

and I met a young man
