the Communism regime,

haven't educated us

to know God and to love God,

to have a relationship with God.

However, Jesus found a way

and He used my grandmother.

She started to
attend a Catholic church.

Next, she would take us
with her. Me and my sister

as we used to spend
holidays with them and weekends.

And this is how I became
aware that there is a God

And part of my
journey in knowing Jesus

was a beautiful event
that happened when I was about

eight or nine years old.

On a Sunday when
we went to church

there was this ceremony.
And it was a lot of preparation.

We'd seen many girls dressed
in beautiful white dresses

and getting ready for
their first communion.

This is something that
happens in the Catholic church

when girls of that age
take for their first time

the bread and the wine
as they do in the church.

And I wanted... I wanted
to be part of that ceremony

not as much from what I remember

for the bread and the
wine but because there was this

concept that when you did that

you became the bride of Jesus.

And this is
something that amazed me.

I wanted to be at that
age the bride of Jesus.

But I didn't qualify

because I wasn't part of

committed my heart to Jesus

to go to church on my own

I moved in 2009 in
the United Kingdom. OK.

So that was years

But I may say in my
20's an event happened -

a very traumatic
event happened in my life

to make some choices,

I struggled to make them.

I knew that some of
them were against God's will

angry towards some people

that I was pushed to

part has been very difficult,

tried to reconcile with God

traditional way that I knew.

and light up many candles.

priest to pray for me.

from the Catholic background.

that this was the way.

burden of guilt for four years

was pivotal in this as well.

to Jesus in the Catholic church
