I want to spend my life 00:00:04.73\00:00:09.90 mending broken people. 00:00:10.31\00:00:14.78 I want to spend my life 00:00:15.44\00:00:20.42 removing pain. 00:00:21.25\00:00:25.89 Lord, let my words 00:00:26.29\00:00:31.33 heal a heart that hurts. 00:00:31.73\00:00:36.40 I want to spend my life 00:00:36.80\00:00:41.80 mending broken people... 00:00:42.47\00:00:46.37 I want to spend my life 00:00:47.38\00:00:52.61 mending broken people. 00:00:53.11\00:00:57.45 Hello friends! Welcome again to another edition 00:01:06.06\00:01:08.06 of 3ABN Today. 00:01:08.26\00:01:10.23 My name is Ryan Day, and we are 00:01:10.43\00:01:12.50 excited about today's program. 00:01:12.70\00:01:14.37 Every program here at 3ABN 00:01:14.77\00:01:16.57 is exciting in my opinion. 00:01:16.77\00:01:18.27 But for sure today is special because we've got AudioVerse 00:01:18.67\00:01:21.61 in the house. That's right: the ministry AudioVerse 00:01:21.81\00:01:23.95 which we're going to learn all about today. 00:01:24.15\00:01:26.25 It's a great tool of evangelism; a great tool that you can share 00:01:26.45\00:01:29.48 with people and just bring encouragement to yourself 00:01:29.68\00:01:32.02 and others. And we're going to talk all about 00:01:32.22\00:01:33.69 what is going on in the world of AudioVerse 00:01:33.89\00:01:35.72 in just a few moments. 00:01:35.92\00:01:37.26 We have Alistair Huong and Eli Kim with us. 00:01:37.29\00:01:41.06 How are you guys doing? Doing great! Wonderful to be here 00:01:41.26\00:01:43.26 with you. Amen! Praise the Lord. 00:01:43.47\00:01:44.80 You guys are coming to tell us all about AudioVerse 00:01:44.83\00:01:47.90 and I'm excited what's going to be discussed during this hour. 00:01:48.10\00:01:51.27 So don't go anywhere. In fact if you have any friends 00:01:51.47\00:01:54.41 or family around that's interested in this powerful tool 00:01:54.61\00:01:57.01 tell them to gather around right now. 00:01:57.21\00:01:58.88 We're not going to get started just yet because before 00:01:59.08\00:02:00.72 we get started we're going to have a beautiful song 00:02:00.92\00:02:02.58 that's going to be brought to us by my good friend Miss Pat Koh. 00:02:02.78\00:02:05.79 And she's going to be playing a song for us entitled 00:02:05.99\00:02:07.86 Overshadowed. 00:02:08.06\00:02:09.42 Amen! My Sr. Pat Koh: always a blessing. 00:07:24.51\00:07:27.98 I love her music. She plays so well 00:07:28.18\00:07:30.01 and thank you, my sister for blessing us with that song. 00:07:30.21\00:07:32.78 Welcome back, my friends. If you're just now joining us, 00:07:33.72\00:07:35.48 my name is Ryan Day. You're watching 3ABN Today. 00:07:35.68\00:07:38.32 And we have AudioVerse in the house with us. 00:07:38.52\00:07:41.72 I'm so excited because I guess you guys are the faces... 00:07:41.92\00:07:44.83 the faces behind the great exciting powerful app 00:07:45.03\00:07:48.86 that everyone has on their phones and listening to hundreds 00:07:49.06\00:07:51.80 of thousands of hours of sermons. 00:07:52.00\00:07:54.10 But we have with us today Mr. Alistair Huong 00:07:54.30\00:07:57.94 and Eli Kim from AudioVerse. 00:07:58.14\00:08:00.51 So I want to start with you, Alistair. Just tell us 00:08:00.71\00:08:02.44 a little bit about yourself: where you're from 00:08:02.64\00:08:04.48 and a little bit of background, what you do for AudioVerse. 00:08:04.68\00:08:06.95 Yeah, well thanks so much for the warm invitation here, Ryan. 00:08:07.15\00:08:09.52 It's great to be with you. 00:08:09.72\00:08:11.05 I am one of the early volunteers of AudioVerse. 00:08:11.09\00:08:13.72 For those who don't know, AudioVerse started back in 2005. 00:08:13.92\00:08:16.32 My brother-in-law actually was one of the founders 00:08:16.83\00:08:18.96 of the ministry and he roped me in. 00:08:19.16\00:08:21.13 I was good friends and Eli was a good friend of ours 00:08:21.33\00:08:23.67 as well during that time. 00:08:23.87\00:08:25.20 And we were a volunteer group of Hodge podge 00:08:25.23\00:08:27.77 mission-minded young people wanting to serve the Lord. 00:08:27.97\00:08:30.61 So AudioVerse was the thing we got involved with 00:08:30.81\00:08:34.44 early on. But as the ministry grew 00:08:34.64\00:08:36.24 everyone's lives took over: careers and families and kids. 00:08:36.44\00:08:40.05 I ended up being asked by the board to become 00:08:40.25\00:08:42.28 the chief executive - executive director - of the ministry. 00:08:42.48\00:08:45.42 Praise the Lord! And so now that's my role. 00:08:45.62\00:08:47.76 I guess you can say I help facilitate things 00:08:47.96\00:08:51.86 but the main thing is I get all the blame for everything 00:08:52.06\00:08:53.50 that goes wrong. That's my job. Of course! 00:08:53.70\00:08:55.43 Of course. That's natural I suppose. 00:08:55.63\00:08:58.03 Eli Kim. How are you, my brother? 00:08:58.43\00:09:00.37 Well thanks for having us here, Ryan. 00:09:00.57\00:09:02.07 Yeah, I was also there in the very beginning. 00:09:02.27\00:09:05.11 I remember... Actually I remember when they had 00:09:05.31\00:09:07.34 a competition for suggestions of a name for AudioVerse. 00:09:07.54\00:09:13.28 I remember submitting something. 00:09:13.48\00:09:14.82 I don't remember what I submitted, but I'm glad 00:09:14.98\00:09:16.99 AudioVerse won. 00:09:17.19\00:09:18.52 And someone won a prize I believe. 00:09:18.79\00:09:21.26 I was there from the beginning, also a volunteer as well. 00:09:21.46\00:09:24.13 I helped I guess design the first logo for AudioVerse 00:09:24.33\00:09:27.30 and now they asked me to be a board member. 00:09:27.50\00:09:30.30 I've been a board member for a while now 00:09:30.50\00:09:32.13 and that's my involvement. 00:09:32.53\00:09:35.37 I do want to just make sure we give credit where credit is due. 00:09:35.77\00:09:39.24 We're only two members of a team of many people 00:09:39.44\00:09:43.24 that contribute their talents to this ministry. 00:09:43.45\00:09:45.48 Amen. And we're very appreciative of their ministry 00:09:45.68\00:09:47.65 and sacrifice as well. Praise the Lord. 00:09:47.85\00:09:50.02 That's such a blessing. Here at 3ABN, we have new viewers 00:09:50.22\00:09:53.82 all the time, and if you are a new viewer 00:09:54.02\00:09:55.79 and you're watching 3ABN for the first time, 00:09:55.99\00:09:57.83 I want to welcome you. So we have new viewers all the time 00:09:58.03\00:10:00.93 that tune in to 3ABN, and there's someone probably 00:10:01.13\00:10:03.70 right now saying: "What n the world is Audioverse? " 00:10:03.90\00:10:06.80 So tell us a little bit about AudioVerse. 00:10:07.20\00:10:09.20 Its history... how it got started... 00:10:09.40\00:10:11.37 and let's just start there. 00:10:11.57\00:10:14.14 I think that's a great great point to start. 00:10:14.34\00:10:15.68 Yeah. I can give you a little bit of the history 00:10:16.01\00:10:18.41 and I'll let Eli share a little bit as well. 00:10:18.61\00:10:20.82 So AudioVerse as I mentioned started in the year 2005. 00:10:20.98\00:10:24.12 To give you a little bit of a context 00:10:24.32\00:10:25.82 that was before the iPhone was invented. 00:10:26.02\00:10:29.12 It was a revolutionary idea. 00:10:30.06\00:10:31.93 We were... I think Facebook started the year after 00:10:32.59\00:10:37.57 or somewhere in that realm. 00:10:37.77\00:10:39.10 Google was just in its infancy; the Internet was nothing like 00:10:39.13\00:10:41.84 today, so it really was quite a leap 00:10:42.04\00:10:45.17 for these college students or medical students at the time 00:10:45.37\00:10:48.48 to have this idea: "Hey, why don't we put 00:10:48.68\00:10:50.78 all of these sermons from our youth group? 00:10:50.98\00:10:52.85 This was in Loma Linda, California. OK. 00:10:53.05\00:10:54.95 The Advent Hope Sabbath School on campus there. 00:10:55.15\00:10:57.39 There were preachers coming every Sabbath. 00:10:57.59\00:10:59.85 And we were still burning CDs to give them out for free. 00:11:00.06\00:11:03.53 And we thought: "You know what? Everybody's got an iPod. " 00:11:03.73\00:11:06.19 Do you remember those? Yeah... that's right. 00:11:06.39\00:11:08.66 And so everyone could download the MP3s 00:11:08.86\00:11:10.33 and just put them on the iPod. 00:11:10.53\00:11:11.87 And we got in touch with various ministries as partners 00:11:11.90\00:11:14.80 and they started putting their content on our site. 00:11:15.00\00:11:17.64 And you know you can say "the rest is history. " Um-hmm. 00:11:17.84\00:11:20.31 But maybe Eli can share a little bit about what AudioVerse 00:11:20.51\00:11:23.58 is today. Yes. Well today we've grown to 00:11:23.78\00:11:27.02 such a large ministry where we're worldwide. 00:11:27.22\00:11:29.05 A lot of people don't realize that it's not just America... 00:11:29.25\00:11:31.55 although that is one of our largest audiences. 00:11:31.75\00:11:34.09 But is IS worldwide. Anyone who has a phone 00:11:34.29\00:11:36.99 or has Internet really can down- load and listen to the sermons. 00:11:37.19\00:11:40.06 And we have some statistics for that. 00:11:40.26\00:11:42.36 It's actually one of the things I anticipate from your report 00:11:42.56\00:11:46.57 every month where you tell us the numbers 00:11:46.77\00:11:49.37 and we see: "Wow! We reached this country and this country. " 00:11:49.57\00:11:51.77 So we are all over the world. 00:11:51.97\00:11:53.51 But we're not just a sermon collection. Sure. 00:11:53.71\00:11:57.71 We do more than just that now. 00:11:57.91\00:11:59.28 We've expanded to other features like audio Bible 00:11:59.48\00:12:04.12 we have on there as well where you can listen to 00:12:04.32\00:12:05.79 the different voiceovers, different versions of the Bible. 00:12:05.99\00:12:09.19 You can listen as well as stuff for children. 00:12:09.39\00:12:12.56 There's a lot of content for children as well. 00:12:12.76\00:12:14.50 Children's programming. We've expanded to even some things 00:12:14.70\00:12:19.03 like Scripture songs. Wow! Like people can learn new songs. 00:12:19.23\00:12:23.81 It's a great way to memorize Scripture. Sure! Sure! 00:12:24.01\00:12:25.94 We have the story of a young lady in Thailand 00:12:26.14\00:12:30.75 who... Her name is Shani 00:12:30.95\00:12:34.12 and she was wanting to get content. 00:12:34.32\00:12:37.29 She was a new Christian at the time 00:12:37.69\00:12:39.29 and she discovered AudioVerse. 00:12:39.49\00:12:41.32 She really didn't want... she didn't know much speakers 00:12:41.72\00:12:45.59 I should say, and she discovered all these speakers 00:12:45.79\00:12:48.26 on there. But one of her favorite things was... 00:12:48.46\00:12:50.83 in her testimony she shared with us... 00:12:51.23\00:12:52.97 was the Scripture songs. Scripture songs. 00:12:53.17\00:12:55.20 She loves that. And on top of that, she... 00:12:55.40\00:12:57.04 as she learned about these new speakers 00:12:57.24\00:12:59.47 that she'd never heard before 00:12:59.67\00:13:01.14 during the pandemic actually in Thailand they were locked down. 00:13:01.34\00:13:04.81 And she had the courage to actually, contact these speakers 00:13:05.01\00:13:09.95 to have them speak to her local church in Thailand. 00:13:10.15\00:13:13.05 Oh wow! It was a great testimony to hear. 00:13:13.25\00:13:16.12 Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord! So you mentioned 00:13:16.32\00:13:18.06 that it's worldwide. That kind of leads me to my next question 00:13:18.26\00:13:20.96 which was: "Who specifically is AudioVerse for? " 00:13:21.16\00:13:25.03 Is there a particular audience? Age group? 00:13:25.23\00:13:27.50 And you know are there sermons in different languages? 00:13:27.70\00:13:30.57 Who's the audience? 00:13:30.77\00:13:32.34 Yes, and you know the Bible tells us that 00:13:32.54\00:13:34.88 the gospel has to go to every nation, kindred, tongue, 00:13:35.08\00:13:36.81 and people. That's right, yeah. And we take that seriously. 00:13:37.01\00:13:38.91 That's really our mission. That's our burden: 00:13:39.11\00:13:41.02 that's what AudioVerse is about. 00:13:41.22\00:13:42.55 And that's one of the reasons why we operate online. 00:13:42.72\00:13:44.49 And we do that in a cost-effective way 00:13:44.69\00:13:46.89 and so we reach well over 200 countries around the world. 00:13:47.09\00:13:49.82 And we have currently over seven languages with more on the way. 00:13:50.03\00:13:53.56 Sure! Sure! And we have content for the whole family. 00:13:53.76\00:13:57.07 Eli mentioned from Shani who is a young adult 00:13:57.27\00:14:01.00 we have children's material. In fact, Starting with Jesus 00:14:01.20\00:14:04.77 is a children's program that we worked together with 00:14:04.97\00:14:08.38 during the pandemic. That's when they started. 00:14:08.58\00:14:10.11 And they started creating children's content 00:14:10.31\00:14:12.35 and we have that on AudioVerse. 00:14:12.55\00:14:13.88 And as I understand it they actually air 00:14:13.92\00:14:16.58 for 3ABN... the kid's programs are aired on 3ABN as well. 00:14:16.79\00:14:19.65 Amen! Amen! So it's one of those things that 00:14:19.85\00:14:22.39 we are able to reach even the younger children. Sure. 00:14:22.59\00:14:24.49 And then we have the Scripture songs. So for all ages 00:14:24.69\00:14:27.40 of different cultures. And I'll just share one quick story 00:14:27.60\00:14:30.63 about this. We have one of our speakers on AudioVerse... 00:14:30.83\00:14:33.70 his name is Dr. Eric Walsh. 00:14:33.90\00:14:35.24 He's a physician with a very busy practice 00:14:35.27\00:14:37.77 but he spends a lot of time in ministry and preaching - right - 00:14:37.97\00:14:40.28 and he has a lot of influence in Africa. 00:14:40.48\00:14:42.84 He's done a lot of work over there, but the pandemic 00:14:43.04\00:14:44.95 prevented him from traveling. Oh! BUT 00:14:45.15\00:14:47.72 he was able to get his sermons on AudioVerse over to the 00:14:48.12\00:14:52.09 congregations over there. Wow! And they didn't like using 00:14:52.29\00:14:54.72 YouTube because YouTube you get all the ads 00:14:54.92\00:14:57.13 and you get distractions from all the different things 00:14:57.33\00:14:59.93 they're recommending to you. "Hey look at this 00:15:00.13\00:15:01.46 latest movie" or whatnot. 00:15:01.56\00:15:02.90 He said: "No, we want to focus on God's Word. " 00:15:02.93\00:15:04.73 So they would have Bible study groups even though they couldn't 00:15:04.93\00:15:07.47 gather in person and Dr. Walsh couldn't come 00:15:07.67\00:15:10.27 in the WhatsApp chat group and texting 00:15:10.47\00:15:12.81 sending messages back and forth. 00:15:13.01\00:15:14.48 I didn't know that was going on until a few times, we were late 00:15:14.68\00:15:18.15 - delayed - getting some of the messages up. 00:15:18.35\00:15:20.52 We were getting messages and they were like: "Hey, 00:15:20.72\00:15:22.05 what is it late? What's goin' on? 00:15:22.22\00:15:23.75 We need this for our Bible study group! " 00:15:23.95\00:15:27.12 And so it's really for everyone around the world, 00:15:27.32\00:15:30.46 and it's the free message of the grace of Jesus 00:15:30.66\00:15:33.66 through the everlasting gospel. 00:15:33.86\00:15:35.20 We're thrilled that the Lord has placed in us the means to 00:15:35.33\00:15:38.93 spread the gospel in this way. 00:15:39.13\00:15:40.54 Amen! Praise the Lord! 00:15:40.74\00:15:42.07 I was tellin' you guys during the break that I have listened 00:15:42.10\00:15:45.51 to... I don't know, I can't even count... hundreds, 00:15:45.71\00:15:48.41 hundreds and hundreds of hours as I've traveled 00:15:48.61\00:15:50.68 in my evangelistic efforts. 00:15:50.88\00:15:52.21 AudioVerse. Pick a sermon... you know, sermon after sermon. 00:15:52.25\00:15:56.15 So it's such a blessing. But I have to ask this 00:15:56.35\00:15:58.39 because as an AudioVerse user I'm sure there's many many 00:15:58.59\00:16:01.02 people watching who are very familiar with AudioVerse. 00:16:01.22\00:16:03.29 But I'm sure there's probably some features 00:16:03.69\00:16:06.49 or some aspects to this ministry 00:16:06.70\00:16:09.36 that many people are unaware of as current users or you know 00:16:09.56\00:16:12.93 perpetual users. So what are some of those maybe features 00:16:13.13\00:16:16.04 that people may not know about? 00:16:16.24\00:16:17.57 I'll let Eli share some of that but just one thought 00:16:17.64\00:16:20.14 back on what you were just mentioning. 00:16:20.34\00:16:21.68 I think it might be helpful to get some context 00:16:21.74\00:16:23.78 to the scale of influence that AudioVerse has. 00:16:23.98\00:16:27.92 As you mentioned, you're listening on a road trip 00:16:28.12\00:16:30.19 and all that kind of thing. We actually have measured 00:16:30.39\00:16:32.62 that in an average month on AudioVerse over 140,000 hrs. 00:16:32.82\00:16:38.43 of content is being listened to. If you divide that out, 00:16:38.63\00:16:41.43 that equals over 5,800 days every month of the equivalent... 00:16:41.63\00:16:46.80 basically, you're playing sermons for 5,800 days non-stop. 00:16:47.00\00:16:51.64 That's the equivalent of how much people listen to 00:16:51.84\00:16:53.31 every month. Praise God! In one month! In one month. 00:16:53.71\00:16:56.04 Another way to think about it is we've all been to these large 00:16:56.24\00:16:59.08 conventions, maybe it's a 3ABN Camp Meeting 00:16:59.28\00:17:01.08 or an ASI convention where thousands of people gather. 00:17:01.28\00:17:04.22 Sure. The numbers essential bear out. 00:17:04.42\00:17:06.12 We have a convention of that scale every single day 00:17:06.32\00:17:09.62 happening on our site. Wow! 00:17:09.82\00:17:11.16 So the gospel is going out and we're thankful to 00:17:11.36\00:17:13.90 be a part of that. Praise God for that; praise God for that. 00:17:14.10\00:17:16.40 Nothing's holding the Lord back from getting the gospel out. 00:17:16.60\00:17:19.27 AudioVerse is playing a major role in that. 00:17:19.47\00:17:21.40 Some of the features that maybe some of our users 00:17:21.60\00:17:24.84 use it on a daily basis are not familiar with 00:17:25.04\00:17:26.98 are, with the new app that we've developed recently, 00:17:27.18\00:17:30.91 is these libraries where you can collect different sermons 00:17:31.11\00:17:35.15 that you want to listen to later. Um-hmm. 00:17:35.35\00:17:37.79 And with the new app you can actually... 00:17:37.99\00:17:41.06 You know sometimes you don't get to listen to the whole sermon. 00:17:41.26\00:17:43.02 Maybe you're busy and half-way through. Sure. 00:17:43.22\00:17:45.89 But now it remembers every place that you listened to it 00:17:46.09\00:17:49.66 in the past in that library. 00:17:49.86\00:17:51.33 You can go back to it and listen to it again later. 00:17:51.53\00:17:53.27 And so there's... That's so cool because 00:17:53.67\00:17:57.67 I find myself all the time watching a sermon on YouTube 00:17:57.87\00:18:00.21 or something and I'll have to remember: 00:18:00.41\00:18:01.91 "OK... I'm at 1923. " 00:18:02.11\00:18:03.81 But that's... It works great for listening to the Bible, 00:18:04.01\00:18:06.82 right? So you know you're trying to listen to the whole 00:18:07.02\00:18:09.15 Bible: it can remember where you left off 00:18:09.35\00:18:11.02 and you can listen to the whole Bible in less than a year. 00:18:11.22\00:18:13.49 That's awesome. And that's one of the things 00:18:13.69\00:18:16.16 about that is as long as you have an account - 00:18:16.36\00:18:18.26 set up a free account on our service - 00:18:18.46\00:18:20.83 we sync your progress across devices. 00:18:21.03\00:18:23.73 So if you're at home on a computer and you listen to... 00:18:23.93\00:18:25.53 half-way, you can pick up your phone and hop in the car 00:18:25.73\00:18:28.70 it will remember where you were and you just pick up 00:18:28.90\00:18:31.27 where you left off. That's if you sign up 00:18:31.47\00:18:32.87 and register your account. A lot of our users 00:18:33.07\00:18:36.28 just actually go to the website, listen to the sermon. 00:18:36.48\00:18:39.41 They don't sign in, but it's a benefit to sign in 00:18:39.61\00:18:42.18 so it saves all your libraries. It saves where you were 00:18:42.38\00:18:44.89 at before across devices. 00:18:45.09\00:18:47.76 So they can listen for free, but if they want access to these 00:18:47.96\00:18:50.03 special features you're speaking of you know to sign in. 00:18:50.23\00:18:52.76 I guess register on a particular account. 00:18:52.96\00:18:54.50 And it's a free account; there's no charge for our service. 00:18:54.73\00:18:57.17 Wow! That is so awesome. 00:18:57.37\00:18:58.70 Praise the Lord for that. 00:18:58.90\00:19:00.24 So let's talk about... Even though it seems like 00:19:00.27\00:19:04.01 we're somewhat coming out of this COVID pandemic... 00:19:04.21\00:19:07.94 I mean, my goodness... it's still... it's still a thing. 00:19:08.34\00:19:12.05 We'll say that. Yeah. It's not what it used to be 00:19:12.25\00:19:13.98 but it's still a thing. But I understand that 00:19:14.18\00:19:16.15 AudioVerse underwent some major I guess changes 00:19:17.05\00:19:21.72 or major experiences during that particular time. 00:19:21.92\00:19:24.39 So I guess my question is: how was AudioVerse affected 00:19:24.59\00:19:28.40 during the pandemic? 00:19:28.60\00:19:30.27 Well... I can answer that. Basically 00:19:30.67\00:19:32.73 a lot of churches were shut down - right - 00:19:33.13\00:19:35.70 but AudioVerse wasn't. 00:19:35.90\00:19:37.24 That's right. So we became a church for a lot of people. 00:19:37.27\00:19:39.47 Amen, brother. And our "listenership" I guess 00:19:39.67\00:19:43.48 increased tremendously during that time. 00:19:43.68\00:19:45.65 People were using it for church for spiritual growth. 00:19:45.85\00:19:49.25 And so it was a tremendous blessing. And we used that time 00:19:49.45\00:19:53.05 actually to... we decided we needed to really expand 00:19:53.25\00:19:57.53 or update our infrastructure of our apps 00:19:57.73\00:20:00.40 'cause it was I guess from the very beginning 00:20:00.60\00:20:03.00 we didn't change from how it was programmed 00:20:03.20\00:20:05.73 from the very beginning, and the Internet and the world 00:20:05.93\00:20:07.87 changed a lot. So during that time we took that opportunity 00:20:08.07\00:20:10.81 to re-do the entire infrastructure. 00:20:10.97\00:20:14.81 Wow! And if you're not a programmer or developer 00:20:15.01\00:20:16.88 you might say: "Was it that big of a deal? " 00:20:17.08\00:20:19.88 If you're a developer, you're probably like: "Wow! " 00:20:20.08\00:20:21.82 So I think Alistair gave me an analogy of that. 00:20:22.02\00:20:26.49 It was like we were in a single-prop engine airplane 00:20:26.69\00:20:31.73 and we decided to upgrade our airplane to a Boeing 777. Wow! 00:20:31.93\00:20:37.30 You know? While we're flying, right? Wow! 00:20:37.50\00:20:40.54 That's amazing. That was quite the focus. Yeah. 00:20:40.74\00:20:43.67 And really ultimately why do we have to do that? 00:20:43.87\00:20:46.68 Well for one, we have the time 00:20:46.88\00:20:48.31 because events were shut down. 00:20:48.51\00:20:49.84 We didn't have much travel going on - sure - 00:20:49.88\00:20:51.98 but the work had to continue. That's right. 00:20:52.38\00:20:54.52 And we also foresaw: "You know what? The gospel 00:20:54.72\00:20:57.15 still has to go to the world and we need to reach a lot more 00:20:57.35\00:20:59.65 people. " But our infrastructure was not ready for that. 00:20:59.85\00:21:02.52 We had to be able to scale up. 00:21:02.72\00:21:04.13 And so in order to adopt in - you know - thousands & millions 00:21:04.33\00:21:07.53 more users in the future we had to fix the underpinning - sure! 00:21:07.73\00:21:10.10 of the ministry. And so we rebuilt the whole thing - 00:21:10.30\00:21:12.37 wow - from top to bottom basically. 00:21:12.77\00:21:15.37 Full... We stripped it down to the studs to use another analogy 00:21:15.57\00:21:18.91 for our audience. And one of the pieces that we recently 00:21:19.11\00:21:23.68 just launched is we have a brand-new mobile app 00:21:23.88\00:21:25.98 and refreshed design with some of the new features 00:21:26.18\00:21:29.68 that we discussed before. 00:21:29.88\00:21:31.22 And it just rolled out not long ago for our users. 00:21:31.25\00:21:33.59 And we actually made a short video to just highlight 00:21:33.79\00:21:37.69 the new app, so maybe we can run it now. 00:21:37.89\00:21:39.96 Yeah, let's run the video right now. 00:21:40.16\00:21:41.50 Covenant relationship with my God, my Savior. 00:21:59.88\00:22:03.39 Sick or well; whether you are young or old; 00:22:04.55\00:22:07.56 whether your body is afflicted or you're the flower of health 00:22:07.96\00:22:12.13 trust the One who holds your life in His hands. 00:22:12.53\00:22:18.10 Let's pray. Father in heaven... 00:22:18.30\00:22:19.63 Wow! That's amazing. 00:22:42.26\00:22:43.59 So how long did it take? Having to build or kind of re-vamp 00:22:43.69\00:22:47.90 or create this new app? 00:22:48.10\00:22:49.43 How long does some process like that take? 00:22:49.46\00:22:51.17 Basically, it took two years... since the start of the pandemic 00:22:51.43\00:22:53.80 'cause we had to upgrade a great deal of the underpinnings. Sure. 00:22:54.00\00:22:57.01 And then the mobile app was kind of the last piece of it. 00:22:57.21\00:22:59.61 Before that we also launched a new website. 00:22:59.81\00:23:02.28 We actually have a few images of that 00:23:02.48\00:23:04.21 and we can show our audience now. 00:23:04.41\00:23:05.75 Our new website also has a similar look. OK. 00:23:05.91\00:23:09.05 We've got two images. The next one is on a laptop 00:23:09.25\00:23:11.42 computer showing our new media player. Oh wow! 00:23:11.62\00:23:14.06 And then of course we also have a few images here of our 00:23:14.26\00:23:16.52 mobile app to give you a better view than the video. 00:23:16.73\00:23:19.46 The new AudioVerse app is like having a preacher in your pocket 00:23:19.66\00:23:22.86 we like to say. That's right! 00:23:23.06\00:23:24.40 You've got all the different new features, 00:23:24.43\00:23:26.03 and thank you so much for showing those images. Yes! 00:23:26.23\00:23:28.80 For our audience, you can download it for free right now 00:23:29.00\00:23:31.41 from the Google Play and iOS app store. 00:23:31.61\00:23:33.68 Or if you don't even have a Smartphone 00:23:33.88\00:23:35.24 you can find us online. Right? at our website: 00:23:35.44\00:23:37.01 And all of these new features... the ultimate mission - 00:23:38.15\00:23:41.48 sure - is to make the gospel 00:23:41.68\00:23:43.35 more accessible to the people 00:23:43.55\00:23:45.32 of the world so that we can be 00:23:45.52\00:23:47.32 ready for Jesus to come. Um-hmm. 00:23:47.62\00:23:48.96 And I'm thankful that during the pandemic... 00:23:49.12\00:23:50.76 One other testimony really is that 00:23:50.96\00:23:52.99 while the world was locked down 00:23:53.19\00:23:55.66 we were concerned about the financial means 00:23:55.86\00:23:57.90 to be able to afford development of the app and the technology 00:23:58.10\00:24:02.20 but the Lord was gracious that the generosity of His people 00:24:02.40\00:24:06.44 and His listeners really came through to allow us to invest 00:24:06.64\00:24:09.08 heavily when other aspects of what we were doing 00:24:09.28\00:24:12.81 were slower. That's amazing. 00:24:13.01\00:24:14.98 So I have to ask... not that I'm expecting 00:24:15.18\00:24:17.42 you to give any type of specific numbers 00:24:17.62\00:24:19.02 but you had to have seen a major increase from right before 00:24:19.22\00:24:24.29 the pandemic. Then the pandemic comes... 00:24:24.49\00:24:26.66 I mean, did you guys see a massive increase in numbers 00:24:26.86\00:24:29.80 or traffic? It was a surge. Oh yeah. 00:24:30.00\00:24:31.37 At the peak we were well over 50% higher 00:24:31.57\00:24:34.04 you know from a month-to-month basis. 00:24:34.24\00:24:36.07 On a total basis, you know it's hard to exactly 00:24:36.27\00:24:38.51 figure out where to start counting. 00:24:38.71\00:24:40.48 But it was definitely a surge in traffic. 00:24:40.68\00:24:43.01 There's no question. That's amazing! That's amazing. 00:24:43.21\00:24:45.11 I love the fact that... Obvious- ly this whole pandemic thing 00:24:45.31\00:24:48.68 is the enemy just trying to attack and trying to... 00:24:48.88\00:24:51.42 You could just imagine the enemy trying to think: 00:24:51.62\00:24:53.62 "Oh, I'm going to shut the church down. " 00:24:53.82\00:24:55.16 "I'm going to shut the gospel down. I'm going to prevent 00:24:55.22\00:24:57.13 all these people from receiving the gospel. " 00:24:57.33\00:24:58.79 But yet the Lord was like: "Yeah, but you forgot about 00:24:58.99\00:25:00.50 AudioVerse. " "You forgot about 3ABN. " 00:25:00.70\00:25:02.30 "And you forgot about... " And so God is using your ministry 00:25:02.50\00:25:04.93 and has used your ministry to be able to reach people 00:25:05.13\00:25:08.17 during a time when the enemy perhaps has the plans to shut 00:25:08.37\00:25:11.01 that communication down. But praise God for what AudioVerse 00:25:11.21\00:25:14.08 is doing. Yeah, one other thing about the expansion 00:25:14.28\00:25:17.18 that you are just talking about is during the pandemic 00:25:17.38\00:25:19.08 we actually expanded to a few other languages 00:25:19.28\00:25:21.65 during that time. So the Japanese site we were working on 00:25:21.85\00:25:24.79 even beforehand. So we have a new Japanese site. 00:25:24.99\00:25:27.82 We also launched a Russian language site. 00:25:28.02\00:25:30.49 Of course Russia is in the news a lot today, 00:25:30.69\00:25:33.56 and I know 3ABN has done a lot of work in Russia as well. 00:25:33.76\00:25:36.43 Sure. And so we have a brand new launch there. 00:25:36.83\00:25:39.77 And we're working with a team in the Scandinavian countries 00:25:39.97\00:25:42.64 right now for 3 of the Nordic languages 00:25:42.84\00:25:45.11 to also come online - sure - hopefully later this year. 00:25:45.31\00:25:47.61 So we have not been sitting still... even though maybe 00:25:47.81\00:25:50.05 the world was in lockdown we were not sitting still. 00:25:50.25\00:25:52.61 That's right! Amen. So yeah, the gospel needs to go. 00:25:52.81\00:25:54.75 Reminds me of that quote how we're spreading out 00:25:54.95\00:25:56.92 to the whole world. Sure. Ellen White said in... 00:25:57.12\00:25:59.72 in Life Sketches... she was re- ferring to the publishing work 00:25:59.92\00:26:04.83 talking to her husband 00:26:05.03\00:26:06.56 and she was talking about how "from this small beginning 00:26:06.76\00:26:10.17 it was shown to me to be like streams of light 00:26:10.37\00:26:13.64 that went clear around the world. " 00:26:13.84\00:26:16.81 Amen. And we thought we're kind of an extension 00:26:17.01\00:26:19.17 of like the publishing work in a sense. Yes! 00:26:19.37\00:26:21.54 because back then they would actually, take the sermons... 00:26:21.74\00:26:23.75 They would listen to it and write it down, and then 00:26:23.95\00:26:25.28 they would publish it. Right. In a sense, we're taking 00:26:25.48\00:26:27.68 the actual sermons in audio form 00:26:27.88\00:26:29.68 and sending it in literal beams of light 00:26:29.88\00:26:32.35 in fiber optic cables around the whole world. 00:26:32.55\00:26:35.46 Yes! And it makes... you just kind of picture that. 00:26:35.66\00:26:36.99 So countries we can't actually go to we can at least stream to. 00:26:37.19\00:26:41.76 Amen! It's such a blessing! 00:26:41.96\00:26:43.77 And I love the fact that we have our slogan for the new 00:26:43.97\00:26:46.60 redesign is "Sound Doctrine. " 00:26:46.80\00:26:49.64 Oh, I love that! I like that. 00:26:49.84\00:26:51.61 Very nice. And it's great because 00:26:51.81\00:26:54.44 what we are NOT is we are not YouTube - 00:26:54.64\00:26:56.75 right - in a sense because YouTube has ads. 00:26:56.95\00:26:59.41 They have a lot of things you don't want to see. 00:26:59.61\00:27:01.38 There's a lot of suggested content after you watch 00:27:01.58\00:27:04.42 for secular things: like a new movie that came out. 00:27:04.62\00:27:06.59 You don't want to get distracted. 00:27:06.92\00:27:08.52 That reminds me of a story of Emily from New York City. 00:27:08.72\00:27:12.33 She's a 14-year-old girl who wrote to us 00:27:12.53\00:27:16.16 telling us how AudioVerse had affected her life. 00:27:16.36\00:27:18.83 She was trying so hard she said 00:27:19.03\00:27:21.37 to not be distracted by the things of this world 00:27:21.57\00:27:23.44 and she said that specifically a social media platform that 00:27:23.64\00:27:26.57 she used to listen to sermons she didn't watch because 00:27:27.48\00:27:29.21 it was too distracting. Oh yeah! She specifically said that 00:27:29.44\00:27:31.88 and she said: "So I turned to AudioVerse 00:27:32.08\00:27:33.88 and it was such a blessing. " On her morning commute to school 00:27:34.08\00:27:37.99 she would listen to it every day. Wow! 00:27:38.19\00:27:39.75 Uninterrupted? Uninterrupted. Praise God! 00:27:39.95\00:27:41.72 That's like sound doctrine. You don't have to worry about 00:27:41.92\00:27:43.99 what am I going to get... what am I going to listen to today? 00:27:44.19\00:27:47.40 We pride ourselves in making sure that 00:27:48.03\00:27:51.07 the content is... Sure. I mean that's actually one of our tag 00:27:51.27\00:27:55.57 lines right, isn't it? "Curating the best 00:27:55.77\00:27:59.14 in Adventist audio content. " 00:27:59.34\00:28:00.68 Curating the best Adventist audio content. 00:28:00.74\00:28:02.84 Praise the Lord! So don't have to worry. 00:28:03.04\00:28:04.71 A lot of times also people who are living 00:28:04.91\00:28:07.48 in a small town somewhere, don't have access to 00:28:07.68\00:28:10.39 some experts in the field of certain topics: 00:28:10.59\00:28:13.36 Daniel & Revelation or whatever 00:28:13.56\00:28:15.12 and they don't get to maybe hear those speakers - 00:28:15.32\00:28:17.76 um-hmm - in all parts of the world. 00:28:17.96\00:28:19.49 And they can rest assured that when they go to AudioVerse 00:28:19.89\00:28:24.23 that they can get access to those sermons. Sure. 00:28:24.43\00:28:27.07 They don't have to worry about: "Am I going to listen to this 00:28:27.27\00:28:29.07 hour sermon on YouTube? " Well, YouTube or whatever... 00:28:29.27\00:28:32.17 website... "I'm not sure if this is good content or not. " 00:28:32.37\00:28:36.64 Right. Just posted by whoever. 00:28:36.85\00:28:38.48 But we know that we've vetted it. Absolutely... wow! 00:28:38.88\00:28:42.78 Praise the Lord! So are there any other further developments 00:28:42.98\00:28:45.99 with AudioVerse that maybe our people listening 00:28:46.19\00:28:50.33 may not be aware of? Plans or anything you have 00:28:50.53\00:28:52.49 for the future in regards to expanding AudioVerse 00:28:52.69\00:28:55.60 or anything like that? Yeah. Actually, we are looking at 00:28:55.80\00:28:58.87 a few other languages that we mentioned. Right; right. 00:28:59.07\00:29:01.04 Starting with Jesus is still going strong with children's 00:29:01.24\00:29:03.20 content, and one of the things that we really are focused on 00:29:03.41\00:29:06.74 is making AudioVerse a tool for evangelism. 00:29:06.94\00:29:09.74 A tool for our listeners to use in their tool kit 00:29:09.94\00:29:13.68 to reach other people. 00:29:13.88\00:29:15.22 AudioVerse as a media ministry we are no substitute. 00:29:15.25\00:29:17.89 We understand this very clearly. We do not substitute 00:29:18.09\00:29:20.76 the actual live preacher: the personal evangelist, 00:29:20.96\00:29:23.83 the neighbor knocking on a neighbor's door to give 00:29:24.03\00:29:26.63 a Bible study. But we want to be there to assist 00:29:26.83\00:29:29.16 and to augment that experience. 00:29:29.36\00:29:31.63 And so we do have some ideas of how we're going to do that. 00:29:31.83\00:29:33.97 I think we really have to tell you this amazing story - oh, 00:29:34.17\00:29:37.61 absolutely - of Dr. Kim. So a friend of ours, Dr. Calvin Kim, 00:29:37.84\00:29:42.34 he is truly an evangelist. 00:29:42.54\00:29:46.55 He has a... he's a very busy dentist - 00:29:46.75\00:29:49.15 uh-huh, and has a very busy dental practice. 00:29:49.35\00:29:51.59 But there's no excuse. He really just... The time he DOES have 00:29:51.79\00:29:55.46 he has 20 or more Bible studies. 00:29:55.66\00:29:58.69 I'm sure it's probably more now. I don't know, you know. 00:29:58.89\00:30:01.00 Twenty Bible studies that he is having on a weekly basis. 00:30:01.20\00:30:04.83 Wow! And as Alistair said there's... 00:30:05.03\00:30:07.70 AudioVerse can be used as a tool - sure - 00:30:07.90\00:30:10.87 so a lot of times his Bible study contacts 00:30:11.07\00:30:13.71 they would have questions. 00:30:13.91\00:30:15.31 He would have a study on let's say the Sabbath 00:30:15.51\00:30:17.28 and they had questions. 00:30:17.48\00:30:19.01 "How do I keep the Sabbath? " "I work on Sabbath... 00:30:19.21\00:30:22.45 what do I do? " And so he shared about 00:30:22.65\00:30:24.02 how he shared a sermon of Steve Kasperbauer 00:30:24.22\00:30:27.62 who spoke at ASI a few years ago 00:30:27.82\00:30:30.13 about how he had a company that is a tourist company 00:30:30.33\00:30:33.36 that he has closed down on Sabbath and God blessed him. 00:30:33.56\00:30:36.40 And so he shared that with him. And because of that 00:30:36.60\00:30:38.80 the person was blessed. So he caters to their needs. 00:30:39.00\00:30:41.97 Sure. As they are asking questions about a certain things 00:30:42.17\00:30:44.87 he will share an AudioVerse sermon with them 00:30:45.07\00:30:47.94 either before or after if they have questions 00:30:48.14\00:30:50.68 during the week. 'Cause he can't spend countless hours. 00:30:50.88\00:30:53.78 Yeah, absolutely. But he has twenty of them and he can use 00:30:53.98\00:30:56.92 AudioVerse to help him along the way. 00:30:57.12\00:30:58.65 Absolutely! But that's not the whole story. 00:30:58.85\00:31:01.62 There's more... there's more to this story. 00:31:01.82\00:31:04.43 So Dr. Calvin Kim told us the story of how he 00:31:04.63\00:31:08.60 basically multiples his time - right? with his... you know... 00:31:08.80\00:31:12.50 several dozen Bible study contacts. 00:31:12.70\00:31:14.77 And then we got a story from a gentleman named Ricky. 00:31:14.97\00:31:17.94 And Ricky tells us: "I came across AudioVerse 00:31:18.34\00:31:21.14 because of my local dentist. " 00:31:21.34\00:31:22.91 Guess who it was? It was Dr. Calvin Kim. Wow! 00:31:23.11\00:31:25.95 And he says he's an automotive technician. He works on cars 00:31:26.15\00:31:30.05 and he is able to listen to sermons all day long. 00:31:30.25\00:31:33.66 And so he's just binge listening sermons on AudioVerse 00:31:33.86\00:31:36.79 and then he has his weekly Bible studies with Dr. Kim. 00:31:36.99\00:31:39.49 And just a few weeks ago he was baptized into the church! 00:31:39.69\00:31:44.20 Wow! Praise the Lord! But then the amazing thing is 00:31:44.40\00:31:47.47 he says "Praise the Lord for that. " And his wife 00:31:47.67\00:31:50.14 and his son came to the baptism, heard his testimony 00:31:50.34\00:31:53.04 and now they're having Bible studies 00:31:53.24\00:31:55.18 and they're listening to AudioVerse on their own. 00:31:55.38\00:31:58.11 So you see the multiplication effect - 00:31:58.31\00:32:01.45 absolutely - of one Bible worker who is a dentist... 00:32:01.78\00:32:05.12 super busy... multiplying his time and influence using 00:32:05.32\00:32:08.69 the tools of AudioVerse influencing this young man. 00:32:08.89\00:32:12.09 And now his wife and his son... they're all coming 00:32:12.29\00:32:16.26 to a knowledge of the truth and of Jesus. 00:32:16.46\00:32:18.10 And this is exactly why AudioVerse exists. Yes! 00:32:18.30\00:32:20.64 We are a tool in the hands of God's people 00:32:20.84\00:32:22.60 to help spread the gospel. Once you hear sermons 00:32:22.80\00:32:24.17 then you use AudioVerse more. When you hear something that's 00:32:24.37\00:32:27.14 such a blessing to you you want to share it with others. 00:32:27.34\00:32:29.74 Absolutely. You just can't help it. You just start sharing 00:32:29.94\00:32:32.55 with others and that's why it's such a blessing. 00:32:32.75\00:32:34.95 You don't have to be a Bible worker, right? 00:32:35.15\00:32:36.99 Calvin Kim... he's a doctor. 00:32:37.19\00:32:38.79 I mean Eric Walsh... he's a doctor as well. 00:32:38.99\00:32:40.36 But God can use you no matter how busy your life is. 00:32:40.56\00:32:45.13 Anybody can click SHARE. 00:32:45.33\00:32:48.06 Anybody can e-mail or click on that SHARE button. 00:32:48.26\00:32:50.33 It's very easy to share it on social media, 00:32:50.53\00:32:52.53 share it anywhere. And it can definitely augment 00:32:52.73\00:32:56.34 your Bible study contacts in many ways. 00:32:56.54\00:33:02.04 That's right. So like when you're... I don't know, 00:33:02.24\00:33:05.35 in the beginning when you were building this app 00:33:05.55\00:33:06.88 and even up to now to get this content 00:33:06.95\00:33:09.22 do you have to get permission from people to choose their 00:33:09.42\00:33:11.82 content? Or how does that process work 00:33:12.02\00:33:13.86 on how you gather the content to put on AudioVerse? 00:33:14.06\00:33:16.76 But you know, one of the things we've mentioned 00:33:16.96\00:33:18.86 and one of the repeated things that our listeners tell us 00:33:19.06\00:33:21.30 they value the most about the AudioVerse platform 00:33:21.50\00:33:23.73 is that they don't have to worry about the quality of the content 00:33:23.93\00:33:27.34 they're getting. They know it's going to be Bible. 00:33:27.54\00:33:29.60 They know it's going to be solid. 00:33:29.80\00:33:31.14 They know it's going to be Christ-centered & Spirit-filled. 00:33:31.17\00:33:33.78 And so we take that very seriously: how to resource 00:33:33.98\00:33:35.88 our content. And as of right now we release 00:33:36.08\00:33:39.05 well over 2,000 messages every year. 00:33:39.25\00:33:41.15 And every day we have new content coming out. 00:33:41.35\00:33:43.72 And so we don't have a shortage of content, but how do we 00:33:43.92\00:33:46.29 maintain that quality? Right. The way we go about this 00:33:46.49\00:33:49.76 with a very small team - we keep our expenses low - 00:33:49.96\00:33:53.03 is we work with existing partners. OK. 00:33:53.23\00:33:56.06 So we have partners like 3ABN: one of our close partners here 00:33:56.26\00:33:59.13 and as well as ASI. I know you guys work with them as well. 00:33:59.33\00:34:02.00 And GYC and various churches - sure - and other ministries: 00:34:02.20\00:34:05.34 the Amazing Facts and It Is Writtens of the world. 00:34:05.54\00:34:07.74 And through those networks organically our network of 00:34:07.94\00:34:11.35 people we know and trust it grows... because they 00:34:11.55\00:34:16.18 are trusted partners. And if they're going to work... 00:34:16.38\00:34:18.12 Like 3ABN. If you're working with somebody more than likely 00:34:18.32\00:34:20.92 we're going to see things eye-to-eye and we're going to 00:34:21.12\00:34:22.79 be on the same page. So that's how our network has 00:34:22.99\00:34:25.49 grown until now we have a vast network of thousands 00:34:25.69\00:34:28.36 of partners. Sure. And we have regular content 00:34:28.56\00:34:30.60 from those various sources. And then we have 00:34:30.80\00:34:33.74 very clear guidelines and values that we outline publicly on our 00:34:33.94\00:34:37.51 website by which we determine what content is permissible. 00:34:37.71\00:34:40.74 And then our team works the process and we post 00:34:40.94\00:34:44.85 the messages that are appropriate in that way. 00:34:45.05\00:34:47.85 Amen. Praise the Lord! 00:34:48.05\00:34:49.38 So just real quickly just off the top of your head 00:34:49.55\00:34:51.79 somebody may be watching right now and says: 00:34:51.99\00:34:53.72 "Well I'm interested in this AudioVerse but are my favorite 00:34:53.92\00:34:56.93 speakers on there? " So what are some of the speakers 00:34:57.13\00:34:59.16 that are notable for being on AudioVerse? 00:34:59.36\00:35:03.03 Well everybody knows who Doug Batchelor is, right? 00:35:03.23\00:35:05.93 Pastor Finley is a regular. 00:35:06.13\00:35:09.47 And John Bradshaw from It Is Written of course. 00:35:09.67\00:35:12.97 And we've worked with 3ABN many times. 00:35:13.17\00:35:15.78 OK. We have ASI content 00:35:15.98\00:35:18.01 so lots of speakers... there's a mix there. OK. 00:35:18.21\00:35:20.75 Of course Elder Wilson from the General Conference. 00:35:20.95\00:35:23.18 I'm pretty sure if there's someone that you're looking for 00:35:23.59\00:35:27.32 more than likely... I'd encourage you search for 00:35:27.52\00:35:30.23 other speakers that you don't even know about. Right. 00:35:30.43\00:35:32.86 That's how Shani discovered new speakers 00:35:33.06\00:35:36.23 she didn't even know is by just searching 00:35:36.43\00:35:38.57 and going through the... One of our most common sections 00:35:38.77\00:35:41.20 of our app before was the trending. 00:35:41.40\00:35:44.94 What's trending and what's new? 00:35:45.14\00:35:47.31 So people always go directly to there and see what's trending. 00:35:47.71\00:35:50.45 That's kind of in a way it's vetted by the whole world 00:35:50.65\00:35:54.38 because as they're sharing it more, listening to it more, 00:35:54.58\00:35:57.82 the algorithm puts it up higher on that list. 00:35:58.02\00:36:01.42 So they go: "Oh, what is this? I never heard of this speaker. " 00:36:01.62\00:36:03.63 Personally I've done that myself. 00:36:03.83\00:36:05.69 I've never heard this speaker but he's #1 on the list 00:36:05.89\00:36:07.76 right now. Let me listen to it. " 00:36:07.96\00:36:09.30 I'm like: "Wow! This is a real blessing. " 00:36:09.46\00:36:10.90 Right. "This guy really knows his stuff. " 00:36:11.10\00:36:13.17 Ultimately we're just trying to spread the Word 00:36:13.37\00:36:16.71 to the world and we've got to increase faith. 00:36:16.91\00:36:20.51 Says: "faith cometh by hearing" that's right - "hearing by the 00:36:20.71\00:36:23.18 Word of God. " Hearing by the Word of God. That's so powerful! 00:36:23.38\00:36:25.21 I want to tell a quick story 00:36:25.41\00:36:26.75 related to this exact question of discovering new speakers 00:36:26.88\00:36:29.32 and all of that. During the pandemic again 00:36:29.52\00:36:31.75 we got a testimony from a lady named Laura 00:36:31.95\00:36:35.12 where she came across a series by Dr. Norman McNulty - OK - 00:36:35.52\00:36:40.06 on last-day events. It's called Last Day Events 00:36:40.26\00:36:42.66 Made Simple or something. Last Day Events Explained 00:36:42.86\00:36:46.63 I think is what he called it. Right. And if you haven't 00:36:46.84\00:36:48.80 listened to it, to our listening audience you can find it 00:36:49.00\00:36:50.67 on AudioVerse right now. Yeah! And you know during the 00:36:50.87\00:36:52.67 COVID pandemic there was a lot of talk and a lot of questions 00:36:52.87\00:36:55.24 about final events. And so he systematically 00:36:55.44\00:36:58.21 very clearly explained our understanding of prophecy 00:36:58.41\00:37:01.95 and the last days leading up to Christ's second coming. 00:37:02.15\00:37:04.79 And Laura was so blessed by it. Never heard of Norman before. 00:37:04.99\00:37:08.49 Started listening to this series. 00:37:08.69\00:37:10.43 She introduced it to her friends, and before long 00:37:10.63\00:37:12.93 they were using it as a basis of their ladies study group. 00:37:13.13\00:37:15.83 And because they weren't really gathering together 00:37:16.03\00:37:18.10 they could do it digitally because it was all through 00:37:18.30\00:37:19.73 AudioVerse. Right. And then her husband started listening 00:37:19.93\00:37:22.24 and their men's SS class started studying that topic as well. 00:37:22.44\00:37:27.64 So they used the series as a launching-off point 00:37:27.84\00:37:29.78 and then they would do their own reading and so forth. 00:37:29.98\00:37:31.58 And as a result, not only did they come into knowledge 00:37:31.78\00:37:35.18 of this new speaker it was a whole series of studies 00:37:35.38\00:37:38.39 that led them into a better understanding of prophecy. 00:37:38.59\00:37:41.19 And another friend of mine who was also friends with Laura 00:37:41.39\00:37:45.39 her parents also started... recommended this series 00:37:45.59\00:37:48.86 on last day events and they were convicted 00:37:49.06\00:37:51.47 that it's time to move out of the city 00:37:51.67\00:37:53.44 as some of the counsel that they read... and they did it. 00:37:53.64\00:37:56.74 And so actual real-life change happened 00:37:56.94\00:38:00.21 as a result of people listening to speakers 00:38:00.41\00:38:02.51 that: "Hey! Never heard of him before! " 00:38:02.71\00:38:04.45 And then they studied together, dug deeper, 00:38:04.65\00:38:07.62 and as a result, made actual tangible changes 00:38:07.82\00:38:10.55 in accordance to what God has told us to do. Sure. 00:38:10.75\00:38:12.45 Wow! That's amazing! That also brings us to the fact 00:38:12.65\00:38:15.72 that another feature we're working on is trying to 00:38:15.92\00:38:18.23 have content for the user. 00:38:18.43\00:38:22.10 For you basically. OK, yeah. So right now they'd say: 00:38:22.30\00:38:25.97 "That's, you know... " I'm sure if you use social media 00:38:26.17\00:38:28.44 it seems like your feed is based on what you're... 00:38:28.64\00:38:31.57 what you're interested in. Yeah. But ours is from a more 00:38:31.77\00:38:34.11 spiritual perspective and where you are at in your life. 00:38:34.31\00:38:37.01 Right. If you're a 14-year-old girl, maybe you have different 00:38:37.21\00:38:39.41 problems or sermons that you want to listen to... 00:38:39.61\00:38:42.15 You're talking about like if somebody is interested in 00:38:42.35\00:38:44.55 a specific topic - um-hmm - or specific subject 00:38:44.75\00:38:46.89 or specific speakers or whatever 00:38:47.09\00:38:48.92 the app? We have some specific questions that you can answer 00:38:49.12\00:38:53.16 and then it will cater it for you. 00:38:53.36\00:38:56.13 And so if you're interested in more... I don't know... 00:38:56.33\00:38:59.43 prophecy stuff for some reason the algorithm might realize that 00:38:59.63\00:39:02.97 or understand that about you and feed you more 00:39:03.17\00:39:05.77 of those kind of... So you'll discover new speakers 00:39:05.97\00:39:07.64 that you never knew of before 00:39:07.84\00:39:09.94 or even sermons that you never heard before. 00:39:10.15\00:39:12.11 That's amazing! We have 20,000 sermons and counting. 00:39:12.31\00:39:16.79 And counting, right? 00:39:16.99\00:39:18.32 And most people tend to go to like I said 00:39:18.35\00:39:20.79 the trending now or the new 00:39:20.99\00:39:23.09 and there's so many like diamonds in the rough. 00:39:23.29\00:39:25.79 You know? Just like really good sermons 00:39:25.99\00:39:27.60 that are perfect for you that are hidden in there. 00:39:27.80\00:39:30.17 And that used to be one of our complaints 00:39:30.37\00:39:32.43 in the very beginning was - sure - 00:39:32.63\00:39:34.24 "I don't know where to begin. Like where do I start? " 00:39:34.44\00:39:36.40 I remember YouTube even was like that in the very beginning. 00:39:36.60\00:39:42.18 Now it's more catered to you. 00:39:42.38\00:39:44.61 In the same way we want to do that for sermons 00:39:44.81\00:39:46.85 so that it's just like how that one lady was... 00:39:47.05\00:39:51.85 Oh, I guess you can share that story about how when 00:39:52.05\00:39:55.39 the 24/7 prayer group. 00:39:55.59\00:40:01.16 The perfect sermon; you share that story. 00:40:02.06\00:40:03.57 Perfect, yes. It's related to this idea of how messages 00:40:03.77\00:40:06.94 meeting a specific need at a specific time. 00:40:07.14\00:40:09.47 So we got a testimony from the 24/7 United Prayer Team. 00:40:09.87\00:40:14.41 Um-hmm. It was an around- the-clock prayer meeting group 00:40:14.61\00:40:18.11 that was I believe orchestrated by the Revival and Reformation 00:40:18.31\00:40:21.05 Committee of the General Conference. Um-hmm. 00:40:21.25\00:40:22.58 And so they had 22 prayer groups going around the clock. 00:40:22.85\00:40:26.92 And the way that it was structured: they would have 00:40:27.12\00:40:29.46 thirty minutes of united prayer 00:40:29.66\00:40:31.33 and then the last 15 minutes they would have a section 00:40:31.53\00:40:34.00 called Going Deeper in which they would basically 00:40:34.20\00:40:37.33 play a message: a devotional talk or Bible study. 00:40:37.53\00:40:40.14 And AudioVerse became their go-to source 00:40:40.54\00:40:43.34 for content... largely because they didn't have to filter. 00:40:43.54\00:40:46.37 They didn't have to guess: "Is this appropriate or not? " 00:40:46.57\00:40:49.14 So they would pull this content out and they would play it 00:40:49.34\00:40:52.08 during those 15 minutes. Remember: 22 different 00:40:52.28\00:40:54.78 prayer groups every single day. 00:40:54.98\00:40:56.42 And the testimony was that frequently the message 00:40:57.02\00:41:02.62 that they listened to was like the direct answer 00:41:03.06\00:41:04.83 to prayer to what they were just praying about for 30 min. 00:41:05.03\00:41:07.86 Wow! And it was like: "This is exactly the voice of God 00:41:08.06\00:41:11.63 telling us the answer to what we were looking for. " 00:41:11.83\00:41:14.70 And the weariness that they were feeling, 00:41:14.90\00:41:17.41 the depression lifted. There was hope and encouragement 00:41:17.61\00:41:20.14 and people were re-invigorated. 00:41:20.34\00:41:21.98 And this is just one example of... The Holy Spirit can 00:41:22.18\00:41:25.31 do the... the Holy Spirit is the best algorithm. 00:41:25.51\00:41:28.38 He will leave a message exactly who needs to hear what. 00:41:28.58\00:41:34.06 But we also recognize that we can do our part. 00:41:34.26\00:41:36.76 We want to be able to tailor the content 00:41:36.96\00:41:39.16 and the recommendations and the "intelligence" if you will 00:41:39.36\00:41:41.83 of our platform - yes - so that the right message 00:41:42.03\00:41:44.57 answering the right questions gets to the right person 00:41:44.77\00:41:47.84 at the right time. That's ulti- mately what we want to get to 00:41:48.04\00:41:50.97 because we want to reach the world. And if we're going to be 00:41:51.17\00:41:53.88 you know spreading the message to the people who are seeking 00:41:54.08\00:41:58.81 who aren't already you know on Audioverse, 00:41:59.01\00:42:01.95 we're going to need to develop those tools to reach them 00:42:02.15\00:42:04.25 where they are. And ultimately that is our goal. 00:42:04.45\00:42:07.42 Right? To develop this tool to reach people more effectively. 00:42:07.62\00:42:10.99 That's your next Audio... You know this because your 00:42:11.19\00:42:14.20 next AudioVerse shirt. Just put that right on there: 00:42:14.36\00:42:16.33 "The Holy Spirit is the best algorithm. " Repeat that; 00:42:16.53\00:42:19.43 share it on Facebook. 00:42:19.63\00:42:21.24 I can see that on a bumper sticker or something! 00:42:21.44\00:42:23.41 The Holy Spirit is the best algorithm. I love that! 00:42:23.61\00:42:25.64 That's right. That is so great. So a quick question 00:42:25.84\00:42:27.58 that just popped into my mind as you were speaking: 00:42:28.54\00:42:30.21 Yeah. So I like all kinds of different content. 00:42:30.41\00:42:33.28 Obviously, I like the new content, fresh content, 00:42:33.48\00:42:35.32 which I know you guys are constantly putting new stuff 00:42:35.52\00:42:37.42 on there all the time, but I guess the question becomes 00:42:37.62\00:42:39.82 for those that are unfamiliar with AudioVerse: 00:42:40.02\00:42:42.22 you know, there's a lot of great sermons from back in the day. 00:42:43.43\00:42:47.13 So do you guys have like "older" content 00:42:47.33\00:42:50.57 that people can view? Or do you remove them? 00:42:50.77\00:42:53.57 Or do you just keep adding to this database? 00:42:53.77\00:42:56.34 Yeah, they're still there. They're still there! 00:42:56.71\00:42:59.47 We were discussing Daniel and Revelation, and I looked up 00:42:59.71\00:43:02.31 Daniel 8 and Daniel 9 and Alistair's sermon from 2008 00:43:02.51\00:43:08.05 I believe came up. OK! Or maybe even older than that. 00:43:08.25\00:43:10.85 That's not THAT old. You're talking about OLD timey, 00:43:11.05\00:43:13.89 right? I'm thinking about like those great 00:43:14.09\00:43:16.39 like... I don't know... some people like Joe Crews 00:43:16.59\00:43:18.89 or some of the old Doug Batchelor sermons. 00:43:19.09\00:43:20.63 Kenneth Cox and some of these guys from back in the day. 00:43:20.83\00:43:23.87 I don't know if you guys still have some of that old content 00:43:24.07\00:43:26.67 on there? Yeah! Great content; great speakers. 00:43:26.87\00:43:29.04 Oh, I'm glad you brought this up because we're actually 00:43:29.24\00:43:32.24 in the process of working with Amazing Facts 00:43:32.44\00:43:34.04 to get a bunch of old Joe Crews stuff. Yes! Yes! 00:43:34.24\00:43:37.11 We've also worked with Voice of Prophecy. 00:43:37.31\00:43:39.48 We have all the classic H.M.S. Richards stuff. 00:43:39.68\00:43:41.42 Oh man... that's great! 00:43:41.62\00:43:43.08 We have multiple series by a minister called Glenn Coon - 00:43:43.28\00:43:47.82 OK - talking about prayer. 00:43:48.02\00:43:49.42 That has been an amazing blessing. 00:43:49.62\00:43:51.86 Just miracle answers to prayer and things of that nature. 00:43:52.06\00:43:55.00 We are not discriminatory toward older sermons. 00:43:55.20\00:43:59.13 Absolutely. God's truth is eternal. It is unchanging. 00:43:59.53\00:44:02.34 And I grew up listening to old preachers, right? Amen! 00:44:02.54\00:44:05.84 C.D. Brooks and those - Yes! Yep! 00:44:06.04\00:44:07.64 those powerful, powerful evangelists 00:44:07.84\00:44:09.84 that really changed our lives. Praise God! 00:44:10.05\00:44:12.31 So as far as AudioVerse goes 00:44:12.51\00:44:13.85 we don't... we rarely take content off. Like we believe 00:44:13.88\00:44:16.79 the messages need to go and it doesn't really matter 00:44:16.99\00:44:20.82 sometimes what date the message was given. 00:44:21.02\00:44:23.06 If it still meets the needs, if it is still preaching 00:44:23.46\00:44:26.06 the three angels' messages and it is what the Holy Spirit 00:44:26.26\00:44:28.53 can reach a person where they need to be reached, 00:44:28.73\00:44:31.83 we believe we need to make that available. 00:44:32.03\00:44:34.10 If they were relevant back then, they're relevant today. 00:44:34.30\00:44:36.30 Absolutely. God's truth is always relevant. 00:44:36.50\00:44:38.41 And that brings me to my next question which is: 00:44:38.61\00:44:40.11 In the world of technology - technology fast changing - 00:44:40.31\00:44:43.48 I mean it changes so fast it's like... I remember 00:44:43.68\00:44:46.38 back in the day when the iPhone first came out. 00:44:46.58\00:44:49.05 And it seemed like there was a little while 00:44:49.25\00:44:50.59 before the next one came out. But now it's like they're 00:44:50.62\00:44:52.09 spitting out these things every single year. 00:44:52.29\00:44:54.42 But I'm thinking in terms of AudioVerse, the technology 00:44:54.62\00:44:57.59 online app. How do you stay relevant 00:44:57.79\00:45:01.43 in the sense of you know now looking towards the future 00:45:01.63\00:45:03.93 and say: "OK, we've got a great thing going here. 00:45:04.17\00:45:06.20 It's working. We've got great traffic. " 00:45:06.40\00:45:09.04 But how does AudioVerse remain relevant in the sense that 00:45:09.24\00:45:14.04 for the future plans how does AudioVerse... 00:45:14.24\00:45:17.78 how is AudioVerse looking to make an even bigger impact 00:45:17.98\00:45:20.82 for God in the ministry in the future? 00:45:21.02\00:45:22.65 I'm so glad you asked that. 00:45:22.85\00:45:24.19 This is an area that we really have to move forward by faith 00:45:24.29\00:45:27.89 because it is just like you say. What we have realized 00:45:28.09\00:45:30.53 in the almost 20 years that we've been around 00:45:30.73\00:45:33.70 is that technology moves extremely quickly. Yes, it does! 00:45:33.90\00:45:36.97 And because we are a web-based, technology-based ministry - 00:45:37.17\00:45:41.47 um-hmm - we are playing in the big leagues 00:45:41.67\00:45:43.87 in terms of the big dollars. Oh for sure! 00:45:44.07\00:45:46.17 We need developer expertise 00:45:46.37\00:45:48.78 and we're talking about data scientists and data analysts. 00:45:48.98\00:45:51.98 We're talking about algorithms and artificial intelligence 00:45:52.18\00:45:54.55 and there's a lot of technology "under the hood" so to say 00:45:54.75\00:45:58.79 that is expensive. 00:45:58.99\00:46:00.92 And all the big companies are fighting for the same 00:46:01.12\00:46:03.09 talent pool. And so I praise the Lord that to this point 00:46:03.29\00:46:07.63 He has sustained us. He has brought us the right 00:46:07.83\00:46:09.60 people at the right time, 00:46:09.80\00:46:11.13 and He has supplied us the necessary means by our 00:46:11.20\00:46:13.74 you know sacrificial donors and listeners and supporters. 00:46:13.94\00:46:17.34 But this is an area that we are very cognizant of 00:46:17.54\00:46:20.14 as a board, as an organization: 00:46:20.34\00:46:23.21 that this is not something we can just rest on our laurels. 00:46:23.41\00:46:26.55 Yeah, because we live in a day and age... 00:46:26.75\00:46:28.15 I hear people all the time say: "Oh, yeah. This one particular 00:46:28.35\00:46:31.42 site I used to visit or this one particular app 00:46:31.62\00:46:33.69 I use is just so outdated now. 00:46:33.89\00:46:35.56 It's old school and they haven't really changed anything. 00:46:35.76\00:46:37.86 It's the same thing from ten years ago. " 00:46:38.06\00:46:39.93 And so I can see how that can potentially be 00:46:40.13\00:46:42.66 an issue. And so what you guys are doing 00:46:42.86\00:46:44.43 I mean, it's difficult. Just hearing you explain 00:46:44.63\00:46:46.80 what you just explained with all of the people coming 00:46:47.00\00:46:49.24 together to make this happen it's so complex! 00:46:49.44\00:46:51.31 That's right. Like even one of our developers... 00:46:51.51\00:46:54.28 Developers are not cheap, of course, but we have 00:46:54.48\00:46:56.75 a great team that sometimes 00:46:56.95\00:47:00.35 we have to even go across the world. 00:47:00.55\00:47:02.75 Like we had a team in Ukraine, I believe, 00:47:02.95\00:47:05.42 but during this crisis in Ukraine 00:47:05.62\00:47:08.42 we lost touch with them. 00:47:08.62\00:47:11.06 So God provided another programmer for us 00:47:11.26\00:47:13.90 just at the last second. 00:47:14.10\00:47:15.90 So God always provides... which is... 00:47:16.10\00:47:18.63 You know, good developers are hard to find. 00:47:19.03\00:47:21.80 You can find developers but GOOD developers are hard. 00:47:22.00\00:47:24.01 Dedicated to God's work... that's even harder. 00:47:24.21\00:47:26.94 But God provides that for us. 00:47:27.14\00:47:28.58 'Cause we are free, right? So we don't charge for anything. 00:47:28.78\00:47:31.25 It's all supported by the donors. 00:47:31.45\00:47:33.58 OK, so then that brings me to my... I guess probably 00:47:33.78\00:47:36.45 one of our final topics here. Maybe we can tell another 00:47:36.65\00:47:38.82 story because we have a little bit of time left. 00:47:39.02\00:47:40.82 But you know, there may be someone watching right now 00:47:41.02\00:47:43.43 that says: "Wow! I didn't know about AudioVerse. " 00:47:43.63\00:47:45.39 Or maybe there's someone who said: "I LOVE AudioVerse" 00:47:45.59\00:47:47.43 and they feel convicted I want to support it. 00:47:47.63\00:47:49.70 How can listeners support AudioVerse? 00:47:50.10\00:47:55.30 That's right. Well, first of all 00:47:55.50\00:47:57.91 as we've been talking about use it. 00:47:58.11\00:48:00.81 Become a user. Listen to the content 00:48:01.01\00:48:03.35 and share it. Yes! That is the best thing you can do. 00:48:03.55\00:48:06.28 We're paid in testimonies. There you go! 00:48:06.48\00:48:09.38 We don't care about anything else. We just 00:48:09.58\00:48:11.25 love the testimonies and that's why we do this for free. 00:48:11.45\00:48:13.56 Amen! And also we want to hear particularly 00:48:13.76\00:48:16.66 how God is changing lives. 00:48:16.86\00:48:18.19 Ultimately that is what we're about. 00:48:18.23\00:48:19.66 And so if you can use this tool to help your own spiritual walk 00:48:19.86\00:48:24.00 with Christ and use it to help others 00:48:24.20\00:48:26.00 that's the most important thing. That's the best thing you can do 00:48:26.20\00:48:28.40 and share the Word. But of course, as we mentioned 00:48:28.60\00:48:31.64 we are a donor-supported ministry. 00:48:31.84\00:48:33.38 And so we are dependent on the generous, sacrificial support 00:48:33.58\00:48:37.25 of our listeners. And because we operate online 00:48:37.45\00:48:40.92 we're very careful with our expenses. Um-hmm. 00:48:41.12\00:48:42.75 And we have never "run in the red" as they say. Sure. 00:48:42.95\00:48:47.09 And so the Lord has blessed us in that regard. 00:48:47.29\00:48:49.32 But we are also very cognizant - sure - that a lot of the future 00:48:49.52\00:48:52.19 development is not going to come cheap. Right. 00:48:52.39\00:48:55.30 And in order for us to maintain the level of quality 00:48:55.50\00:48:59.63 we're going to need continued support. 00:48:59.83\00:49:01.40 'Cause I'll mention this one point: 00:49:01.60\00:49:02.94 when we started I mentioned iPhones didn't exist. 00:49:03.27\00:49:06.88 But in the short period of time since then 00:49:07.28\00:49:09.11 everybody's got an iPhone. And the most important 00:49:09.31\00:49:11.55 functions of our lives frequent- ly happen on our devices. Yes. 00:49:11.75\00:49:14.62 And so everybody has a very elevated expectation 00:49:14.82\00:49:18.69 of quality on their apps. Yeah. 00:49:18.89\00:49:20.36 But that's not cheap. Yes. But more important than that 00:49:20.56\00:49:23.93 the content - the gospel message that we're presenting - 00:49:24.33\00:49:27.90 is of inestimable value. 00:49:28.30\00:49:30.77 And so the quality of the experience has to be 00:49:30.97\00:49:33.60 representative of the truth that we're bearing to people. 00:49:33.80\00:49:36.74 And that's why we take it very seriously. 00:49:36.94\00:49:38.37 We don't want to cut corners. We want to glorify the Lord 00:49:38.57\00:49:40.64 in all that we do including the quality of the code 00:49:40.84\00:49:43.08 that we write. And so the finan- cial support of our listeners 00:49:43.28\00:49:46.18 is crucial to make that happen. 00:49:46.38\00:49:48.08 Amen. And I want to let you know that 00:49:48.28\00:49:49.95 Alistair's very mindful of finances 00:49:50.15\00:49:55.32 as you may know. If you do or not... 00:49:55.52\00:49:57.99 Some of our viewers may not know this 00:49:58.19\00:49:59.96 but he's a financial advisor. Am I right? 00:50:00.16\00:50:02.66 Is that the official title? A side thing, yeah. 00:50:02.86\00:50:05.60 A side thing, but he does talks on finance. 00:50:05.80\00:50:09.04 So when we're at the board meetings we don't 00:50:09.24\00:50:12.91 waste money at all. That's right! Not at all. 00:50:13.11\00:50:15.51 I think he had a blog about Saving the Crumbs 00:50:15.71\00:50:18.81 meaning how can you be as frugal as possible 00:50:19.01\00:50:21.68 and save and not waste. Sure. 00:50:21.88\00:50:25.25 So the supporters can be assured that if they give 00:50:25.45\00:50:27.49 their money is going to be taken care of. Yeah, that's right. 00:50:27.69\00:50:29.49 Everything. I think we have a minute or so here. 00:50:29.69\00:50:32.99 We may not have time for another story at this point 00:50:33.19\00:50:35.43 but my friends, I just want to say... 00:50:35.63\00:50:36.97 I just want to just myself 'cause we're going to come back 00:50:37.00\00:50:38.63 in just a moment after a short break 00:50:38.83\00:50:40.17 and we're going to hear some final thoughts 00:50:40.37\00:50:42.27 from these two guys. And I just feel impressed 00:50:42.47\00:50:45.27 just to share with you just a reminder. 00:50:45.47\00:50:47.94 A simple reminder of the fact that we are commissioned 00:50:48.14\00:50:49.91 by Jesus Christ right here in the gospel. 00:50:50.11\00:50:52.38 And I just want to read Matthew chapter 28 00:50:52.58\00:50:54.15 verses 18-20. It says: "And Jesus came and spoke to them 00:50:54.35\00:50:57.42 saying: 'All authority has been given to Me 00:50:57.62\00:50:59.82 in heaven and on earth. 00:51:00.02\00:51:01.82 Go, therefore, ' Jesus says, 'and make disciples 00:51:02.22\00:51:04.96 of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father 00:51:05.16\00:51:08.80 and of the Father and of the Holy Spirit 00:51:09.00\00:51:10.33 teaching them to observe all things... ' 00:51:10.43\00:51:12.27 There it is: 'teaching them to observe all things 00:51:12.47\00:51:15.07 that I have commanded you. And lo I am with you always 00:51:15.27\00:51:17.77 even to the end of the age. ' " 00:51:17.97\00:51:19.44 We are commissioned to take this gospel to the world, 00:51:19.64\00:51:21.94 and that's what AudioVerse is all about. 00:51:22.14\00:51:24.28 They're playing their role. God is using them 00:51:24.48\00:51:26.21 in a mighty mighty mighty way 00:51:26.41\00:51:28.28 to share the gospel with people that would never have heard it 00:51:28.48\00:51:31.19 otherwise, if they had not found this precious app 00:51:31.39\00:51:34.09 or this website or a means to listen to a sermon 00:51:34.29\00:51:36.93 that introduces them to Jesus Christ. 00:51:37.13\00:51:38.99 And so at this time I want to take a short break 00:51:39.19\00:51:41.00 and what you're going to see on your screen right next 00:51:41.20\00:51:43.33 is how you can support AudioVerse or come in contact 00:51:43.53\00:51:46.70 with AudioVerse. 00:51:46.90\00:51:48.30
