We're going to be talking 00:01:32.25\00:01:34.32 about evangelism. Opportunities that these special motorcycle 00:01:34.36\00:01:38.73 ministries as well as another ministry is what they're doing 00:01:38.76\00:01:41.76 to take the gospel to as many people as possible. Just to let 00:01:41.80\00:01:45.57 you know who I am in case you don't know, I'm Ryan Day. I work 00:01:45.60\00:01:48.84 here in the pastoral department at 3ABN and if you are brand new 00:01:48.87\00:01:52.71 to the Three Angels Broadcasting Network we just want to say 00:01:52.74\00:01:55.54 thank you for joining us and welcome to the family. Because 00:01:55.58\00:01:58.45 today on this special program we have with us Sabbath Keepers 00:01:58.48\00:02:02.95 Motorcycle Ministry. Okay. We're going to be talking to James 00:02:02.98\00:02:06.22 Castillo in just a few moments. How you doing James? 00:02:06.25\00:02:08.82 I'm blessed. 00:02:08.86\00:02:10.33 Amen and praise the Lord. And then we also have Peter O'Connor 00:02:10.36\00:02:13.23 with us and you're going to be representing He Returns Ministry 00:02:13.26\00:02:16.80 (That is correct) Amen, praise the Lord. And then we have 00:02:16.83\00:02:19.33 Sinuhe Figuroa. (Yes) Did I 00:02:19.37\00:02:20.70 say that right? (Oh yes) Sinuhe Figueroa. I just like the name 00:02:21.97\00:02:24.94 brother. (No that's right) All right. And you are with 00:02:24.97\00:02:28.08 the Adventist 00:02:28.11\00:02:29.44 Motorcycle Ministry (That's correct) and man these guys have 00:02:29.48\00:02:31.98 a powerful testimony. I haven't heard it all so I'm going to be 00:02:32.01\00:02:35.22 hearing a lot of this for the first time just like you are 00:02:35.25\00:02:37.95 today. But we've talked a little bit about this in preparing for 00:02:37.99\00:02:41.46 this special program today. I'm excited to hear their story and 00:02:41.49\00:02:44.39 and what God is doing through them and a major, major upcoming 00:02:44.43\00:02:50.03 it's actually the biggest, from my understanding, the biggest 00:02:50.07\00:02:54.44 motorcycle rally in the nation Sturgis and I know I think it's 00:02:54.47\00:02:59.51 in South Dakota. Is that right? Okay. (That's correct) We're 00:02:59.54\00:03:01.01 going to be talking about that. We don't want to spoil just yet 00:03:01.04\00:03:03.88 but before we get right into their story and into what God is 00:03:03.91\00:03:07.42 doing for them we're going to have a special musical number 00:03:07.45\00:03:09.78 brought to us by Pastor John Lomacang and he's going to be 00:03:09.82\00:03:13.09 singing a special song for us that's entitled I Will Go. 00:03:13.12\00:03:16.46 ¤ ¤ 00:03:16.49\00:03:43.75 ¤ Give me ears to hear you Spirit ¤ 00:03:43.79\00:03:52.46 ¤ Give me feet to follow through ¤ 00:03:52.49\00:03:56.67 ¤ Give me hands to touch the hurting ¤ 00:03:56.70\00:04:02.70 ¤ And the faith to follow You ¤ 00:04:02.74\00:04:07.98 ¤ Give me grace to be your servant ¤ 00:04:08.01\00:04:18.49 ¤ Give me mercy for the lost ¤ 00:04:18.52\00:04:23.96 ¤ Give me passion for your glory ¤ 00:04:23.99\00:04:30.33 ¤ Give me passion for the cross ¤ 00:04:30.37\00:04:37.01 ¤ And I go where there are no easy roads ¤ 00:04:37.04\00:04:42.48 ¤ Leave the comforts that I know ¤ 00:04:42.51\00:04:46.75 ¤ I will go and let this journey be my home ¤ 00:04:46.78\00:04:54.46 ¤ I will go, I will go ¤ 00:04:54.49\00:05:05.73 ¤ ¤ 00:05:05.77\00:05:16.58 ¤ I'll let go of my ambition cut the roots that run so deep ¤ 00:05:16.61\00:05:27.26 ¤ I will learn to give away what I cannot really keep ¤ 00:05:27.29\00:05:39.43 ¤ What I cannot really keep ¤ 00:05:39.47\00:05:45.47 ¤ Help me see with eyes of faith ¤ 00:05:45.51\00:05:55.42 ¤ Give me strength to run this race ¤ 00:05:55.45\00:06:01.82 ¤ And I will go where there are no easy roads ¤ 00:06:01.86\00:06:08.93 ¤ Leave the comforts that I know ¤ 00:06:08.96\00:06:13.23 ¤ I will go and let this journey be my home ¤ 00:06:13.27\00:06:21.21 ¤ I will go, I will go ¤ 00:06:21.24\00:06:27.18 ¤ I will go where your glory is unknown ¤ 00:06:27.22\00:06:34.49 ¤ I will live for you alone ¤ 00:06:34.52\00:06:40.53 ¤ I will go because my life is not my own ¤ 00:06:40.56\00:06:47.24 ¤ I will go, I will go, I will go ¤ 00:06:47.27\00:07:14.63 Amen, amen. Thank you so much Pastor John Lomacang for that 00:07:14.66\00:07:18.37 beautiful song, I Will Go. That's what the Bible message, 00:07:18.40\00:07:22.74 the commission is all about. God is sending us out to take the 00:07:22.77\00:07:26.11 gospel to all of the world and that's exactly what the Lord is 00:07:26.14\00:07:30.38 leading these powerful ministries that are with us 00:07:30.41\00:07:33.11 today to do. And so I want to just give a general introduction 00:07:33.15\00:07:36.58 to my friends here. I have to admit I don't normally answer 00:07:36.62\00:07:42.36 my phone for just random messages or random numbers that 00:07:42.39\00:07:45.49 come through if I don't know who it is. I like to know who it 00:07:45.53\00:07:48.36 is first before I answer. Because we get a lot of spam 00:07:48.40\00:07:50.90 calls and whatnot. I got this weird phone call one day on my 00:07:50.93\00:07:54.84 phone and I didn't recognize the number and a few minutes 00:07:54.87\00:07:58.21 later my brother calls me and he says, Hey, did you get a 00:07:58.24\00:08:02.41 phone call from my friend in Texas. I said I don't know I 00:08:02.44\00:08:05.01 don't think so. And he said, well he said he tried to call 00:08:05.05\00:08:07.18 you. Come to find out it was Sinuhe and you were calling me 00:08:07.22\00:08:11.42 and you had touched base with me and you said, Hey brother, 00:08:11.45\00:08:13.89 we've got a powerful work that's going to be going on in South 00:08:13.92\00:08:16.59 Dakota and you're representing Adventist Motorcycle Ministry. 00:08:16.62\00:08:19.53 So Sinuhe tell us a little bit about you and a little bit about 00:08:19.56\00:08:24.93 your background and where you're from and all that. 00:08:24.97\00:08:26.90 Well if it's ever a good time to pull strings it is because of 00:08:26.94\00:08:32.14 this because of the vision. God's gives what it is. 00:08:32.17\00:08:34.91 Amen, brother. 00:08:34.94\00:08:36.28 Well my name is Sinuhe Figueroa as you already told the audience 00:08:36.31\00:08:40.38 and I'm originally from Acapulco, Mexico but been living 00:08:40.42\00:08:44.39 20 years now in Houston, Texas with my family over there and 00:08:44.42\00:08:49.02 my wife, beautiful wife and children. And I'm part of the 00:08:49.06\00:08:52.79 Adventist Motorcycle Ministry. And the Adventist Motorcycle 00:08:52.83\00:08:56.56 Ministry was initiated here in the U.S. in the state of Florida 00:08:56.60\00:09:01.54 2008. So a group of retired pastors got together. They loved 00:09:01.57\00:09:08.74 riding motorcycles, they're all into it. But you know they're 00:09:08.78\00:09:11.61 also all into ministry. So they said what about if we use this 00:09:11.65\00:09:16.79 what we like, you know our passion about motorcycles and 00:09:16.82\00:09:19.59 our passion about ministry, just put it together, combine it. And 00:09:19.62\00:09:24.23 they started you know like riding places, going and 00:09:24.26\00:09:27.26 visiting people, the sick, the elderly, incarcerated and they 00:09:27.30\00:09:33.23 started like also going and mingling and reaching out to the 00:09:33.27\00:09:37.74 bikers. And that's how this ministry originated. 00:09:37.77\00:09:41.34 All right. So we're going to come back to you in just a few 00:09:41.38\00:09:43.45 moments, a little bit more on Adventist Motorcycle Ministry 00:09:43.48\00:09:45.31 but I want to go on to my brother Pete O'Connor and you're 00:09:45.35\00:09:48.85 representing He Returns Ministry today. So Pete tell us a little 00:09:48.88\00:09:52.95 bit about yourself, where you're from, your background. 00:09:52.99\00:09:55.32 I'm originally from, not originally but I came from 00:09:55.36\00:09:59.93 Nebraska. I spent 20 years in the military there. So I ended 00:09:59.96\00:10:06.27 up being with the ministry called He Returns about two 00:10:06.30\00:10:09.94 years ago actually when the pandemic started. And one of the 00:10:09.97\00:10:14.88 church members, vice president when He Returns was actually 00:10:14.91\00:10:16.24 asking me all these weird questions every Sabbath and I 00:10:16.28\00:10:20.48 didn't realize that he was interviewing me. Ha. So and when 00:10:20.52\00:10:26.69 he got to know who I was and interviewing me they invited me 00:10:26.72\00:10:32.16 one day for potluck and I went to their house for a potluck and 00:10:32.19\00:10:36.70 they actually asked me if I wanted to be part of their 00:10:36.73\00:10:39.00 ministry. I said sure. Tell me more about what He Returns is. 00:10:39.03\00:10:41.97 And He Returns is basically spreading the three angels' 00:10:42.00\00:10:45.64 messages in Revelation chapter 14 to be out there, you know 00:10:45.67\00:10:49.41 spread out every nation, tribe and tongue. So when they asked 00:10:49.44\00:10:54.08 me if I wanted to be part I jumped into it. I prayed about 00:10:54.12\00:10:56.52 it and I said yes I do want to be part of this ministry. 00:10:56.55\00:10:59.02 Amen, praise the Lord. And you have, I know you have a powerful 00:10:59.05\00:11:01.59 story. We're going to get back a little more in just a moment 00:11:01.62\00:11:03.96 with He Returns Ministry and you can tell us a little bit 00:11:03.99\00:11:07.16 about your background as well. But James Castillo, Sabbath 00:11:07.20\00:11:10.37 Keepers Motorcycle Ministry Vice President. And I'm familiar with 00:11:10.40\00:11:16.54 this group because I was introduced to this many years 00:11:16.57\00:11:19.37 ago. I was holding an evangelistic series in 00:11:19.41\00:11:22.58 Northwest Arkansas and one of the guys that you and I know 00:11:22.61\00:11:25.05 was wearing...he came to church every Sabbath with this vest on 00:11:25.08\00:11:29.18 and I was so interested because I did not know at the time that 00:11:29.22\00:11:32.32 Adventism even had a motorcycle ministry and Sabbath Keepers was 00:11:32.35\00:11:37.99 the first that I was introduced to. But tell us a little bit 00:11:38.03\00:11:41.06 about yourself, where you're from, your background. 00:11:41.10\00:11:43.10 Okay, well I'm originally from California. Right now I live in 00:11:43.13\00:11:47.44 Northern California right at the base of Mt. Shasta. We have our 00:11:47.47\00:11:52.94 local chapter there in Redding, California. Sabbath Keepers 00:11:52.97\00:11:57.05 began in 1994 with a little group of people in Hollister, 00:11:57.08\00:12:02.68 California. It's also known as the home of the American biker. 00:12:02.72\00:12:08.22 So we had three people there that saw this event going on 00:12:08.26\00:12:13.16 in the church. They were sitting there going we're not going to 00:12:13.19\00:12:17.23 get them to come to the church so we're going to take the 00:12:17.27\00:12:18.73 church to them. And so they dressed up like bikers and they 00:12:18.77\00:12:21.94 went out there and started handing out literature and found 00:12:21.97\00:12:23.74 out how well that works so they came up with this Sabbath 00:12:23.77\00:12:26.71 Keepers Motorcycle Ministry and it took off. I mean in 00:12:26.74\00:12:31.31 California it developed a lot of chapters there, Washington and 00:12:31.35\00:12:35.32 now we're I think 50 chapters. We have some in Canada and also 00:12:35.35\00:12:45.03 a chapter in New South Wales, Australia. So we're spreading 00:12:45.06\00:12:48.63 out. It's a lot of fun reaching people in this crazy world of 00:12:48.66\00:12:55.00 bikers. 00:12:55.04\00:12:56.37 Praise the Lord, praise the Lord I know you have a powerful story 00:12:56.40\00:12:57.87 as well. We're going to come back in just a few moments and 00:12:57.91\00:12:59.67 let you tell us a little bit about that biker life, you and 00:12:59.71\00:13:02.31 Pete both. You and Pete both Both James and Pete were 00:13:02.34\00:13:06.92 previous bikers in the actually gang and we're going to talk 00:13:06.95\00:13:09.52 about that in just a little bit. So you can't go anywhere. Don't 00:13:09.55\00:13:11.75 change the channel. But I want to come back to you Sinuhe. I 00:13:11.79\00:13:16.02 know we're going to talk a little bit more about Sabbath 00:13:16.06\00:13:19.13 Keepers Motorcycle Ministry as well but some people might be 00:13:19.16\00:13:22.13 saying well there's Sabbath Keepers Motorcycle Ministry and 00:13:22.16\00:13:25.30 then there's Adventist Motorcycle Ministry. I know 00:13:25.33\00:13:27.90 there's probably some similarities in the sense of 00:13:27.94\00:13:31.01 your commission, your mission and all that the Lord is leading 00:13:31.04\00:13:34.24 you guys to do Let's talk a little bit about what sets you 00:13:34.28\00:13:37.51 guys apart, what's special about Adventist Motorcycle Ministries 00:13:37.55\00:13:40.08 and what God is leading you guys to do specifically for the 00:13:40.12\00:13:44.79 mission of taking the gospel, the three angels' messages to 00:13:44.82\00:13:46.86 the world and specifically to these bikers. 00:13:46.89\00:13:49.42 Well yes as you said there's a different motorcycle ministries 00:13:49.46\00:13:53.16 within the Seventh-day Adventist Church. We have another one in 00:13:53.19\00:13:57.73 Texas that's called the Three Angels' Messengers. I'll 00:13:57.77\00:14:01.30 probably hear from Sabbath Keepers and other ministries as 00:14:01.34\00:14:03.97 well. When I describe what we do and what differentiates us 00:14:04.01\00:14:07.58 from other Christian motorcycle ministries, I'm talking also 00:14:07.61\00:14:12.18 about other ministries as well. You know what happens is the 00:14:12.21\00:14:19.25 Lord gives these great ideas about ministries to several 00:14:19.29\00:14:23.43 people at the same time. That's why we are several ministries 00:14:23.46\00:14:26.73 within our church, in our country. But when I got into 00:14:26.76\00:14:31.93 motorcycles I didn't belong to a motorcycle group or club 00:14:31.97\00:14:36.57 like they did 00:14:36.60\00:14:37.94 before. But I got into motorcycles and I was already 00:14:37.97\00:14:41.31 an Adventist, you know, recently baptized. I started hanging out 00:14:41.34\00:14:46.61 with...I used to go to this motorcycle Knights, right, like 00:14:46.65\00:14:52.02 bars you know with rough life and party life. But I wasn't 00:14:52.05\00:14:57.63 feeling comfortable because I already knew the truth. So then 00:14:57.66\00:15:01.13 I started looking for Christian motorcycle groups. There is many 00:15:01.16\00:15:05.30 plenty. And they're doing a great work, you know, they're 00:15:05.33\00:15:09.54 spreading the gospel as well. But they still smoke, they get 00:15:09.57\00:15:15.04 together in bars, they drink, they're still out in the world 00:15:15.08\00:15:19.31 you know. So it still didn't satisfy me because it's not what 00:15:19.35\00:15:25.29 I was looking for. I didn't feel comfortable with it. So then I 00:15:25.32\00:15:28.92 didn't know that within the Seventh-day Adventist Church 00:15:28.96\00:15:31.13 there was motorcycle ministries until I started going to Houston 00:15:31.16\00:15:36.16 Central SDA and I saw a guy wearing a vest. It catched my 00:15:36.20\00:15:41.70 attention. I said, what is that guy doing here with that vest? 00:15:41.74\00:15:44.87 And I just got closer and I read you know his vest AMM Adventist 00:15:44.91\00:15:49.98 Motorcycle Ministry. That was my brother Ray Louis which is the 00:15:50.01\00:15:53.92 national and international president of AMM right now. 00:15:53.95\00:15:59.09 And immediately I went up to him and asked him how to join 00:15:59.12\00:16:02.82 this Adventist Motorcycle Ministry? 00:16:02.86\00:16:04.39 Do you have to have a motorcycle to join? 00:16:04.43\00:16:07.46 No. That's a great question. That's a great question because 00:16:07.50\00:16:10.07 we have many riders but we have also many supporters and they're 00:16:10.10\00:16:14.70 part of the ministry as well. And for logistics you know we 00:16:14.74\00:16:18.61 try to ride everywhere we go. As a matter of fact, our motto 00:16:18.64\00:16:23.41 is Ever Ride as a Mission. So we don't ride without being a 00:16:23.45\00:16:28.58 mission. We're mission-oriented. But you know it's great if you 00:16:28.62\00:16:32.75 ride also but also we need the support of the nonriders as well 00:16:32.79\00:16:36.83 You know because we do fellowship, we do ministry, 00:16:36.86\00:16:41.60 and it's just, you know, it's for everybody. 00:16:41.63\00:16:44.07 Oh for sure. Amen, amen. Hey we're talking a little bit about 00:16:44.10\00:16:49.10 your story and how you became a motorcyclist and you said you 00:16:49.14\00:16:53.54 were telling me that your mother tell us a little bit about that 00:16:53.58\00:16:56.85 again. I just...it caught my attention... 00:16:56.88\00:16:59.95 Well I'm glad that my mom is not an English speaker because 00:16:59.98\00:17:02.68 otherwise, I'm going to be like you are talking about me right 00:17:02.72\00:17:06.19 now. She would not be happy. I don't know maybe we're hearing 00:17:06.22\00:17:09.96 we might do this interview something in Spanish then I'll 00:17:09.99\00:17:12.49 be careful, I'll be careful. Yes well growing up when I was a 00:17:12.53\00:17:16.67 teenager I always loved motorcycles. But my mother she's 00:17:16.70\00:17:20.64 very strong you know. I know in the Asian culture, they have 00:17:20.67\00:17:24.07 like tiger mother, but in the Hispanic culture as well. So she 00:17:24.11\00:17:29.38 said, she said don't even think about getting a motorcycle. The 00:17:29.41\00:17:32.38 day you get a motorcycle you get your casket as well and 00:17:32.41\00:17:36.48 you'll be out of this house. 00:17:36.52\00:17:39.29 Oh wow... 00:17:39.32\00:17:40.76 That delayed me a little bit. 00:17:40.79\00:17:42.39 But the Lord said, You know what I'll take care of him, Mama 00:17:42.42\00:17:44.86 because I got a mission for him to take my message to the world. 00:17:44.89\00:17:47.36 To these bikers. Praise the Lord So we're going to come back to 00:17:47.40\00:17:49.76 you in just a few moments when we get into the talking about 00:17:49.80\00:17:51.93 Sturgis, this major event in just a moment. We're going to 00:17:51.97\00:17:54.80 Pete at this moment. Pete, my brother. Have you always been a 00:17:54.84\00:17:57.04 Seventh-day Adventist? 00:17:57.07\00:17:58.41 You know I was adopted twice but when I got adopted the second 00:17:58.44\00:18:03.04 time I was adopted by a Seventh- day Adventist family so yes been 00:18:03.08\00:18:07.22 an Adventist for you know quite a few years but actually joined 00:18:07.25\00:18:13.05 the military, the Air Force, when actually I graduated high 00:18:13.09\00:18:16.26 school and that's when I started you know leaving the church. 00:18:16.29\00:18:20.10 So I ended up falling away from God for 15 years and that's how 00:18:20.13\00:18:24.70 I ended up joining a motorcycle club, or what the world calls it 00:18:24.73\00:18:30.81 motorcycle gang. So I fell away and about four years ago that's 00:18:30.84\00:18:36.14 when you know I gave my life back to God again. So God called 00:18:36.18\00:18:40.28 me back to, to, be with Him and I'm glad He did. So... 00:18:40.32\00:18:45.39 Absolutely. So I have to ask you so you left the church for a 00:18:45.42\00:18:49.59 little while. This was when you became involved in this 00:18:49.62\00:18:54.33 motorcycle group. How in the world does somebody come in 00:18:54.36\00:18:58.57 contact or even get involved in something like that? 00:18:58.60\00:19:02.74 Usually, it's a, you have to know them. You get invited. You 00:19:02.77\00:19:08.21 can't invite yourself. 00:19:08.24\00:19:09.58 Okay, it's just like you can't just walk up to a gang, Hey I 00:19:09.61\00:19:11.71 want to be a part of your gang. It doesn't work like that. 00:19:11.75\00:19:14.38 No, it doesn't. So I knew someone within that motorcycle 00:19:14.42\00:19:21.02 club and I talked to him and he talked to me and he actually 00:19:21.06\00:19:25.23 invited me. So I got invited and I went in and they liked me and 00:19:25.26\00:19:30.17 you had to attend every meeting that they had, every function 00:19:30.20\00:19:32.63 they had, because they wanted to make sure that you're going to 00:19:32.67\00:19:36.71 be 100 percent for the club and not just ah halfway, you know. 00:19:36.74\00:19:39.11 They want a full commitment, you know so. And that's what they 00:19:39.14\00:19:43.75 were looking for. 00:19:43.78\00:19:45.81 That's amazing, and, this maybe a touchy question to ask 00:19:45.85\00:19:50.55 but I have...it just popped into my mind. When you say fully 00:19:50.59\00:19:54.12 committed I mean what does a gang like this do or what is the 00:19:54.16\00:20:00.76 purpose, what is the agenda. Obviously, you're a group, 00:20:00.80\00:20:03.77 you're a gang so when you say fully committed what does that 00:20:03.80\00:20:07.14 mean to be fully committed to a biker gang or group like this? 00:20:07.17\00:20:11.21 So here's an example. I was in the military for 20 years. It's 00:20:11.24\00:20:15.78 the same thing when you go through boot camp. They put you 00:20:15.81\00:20:19.68 through boot camp. You prospect for a whole year and you're very 00:20:19.71\00:20:24.65 committed. Whenever they call you, they send you a text 00:20:24.69\00:20:26.99 message, you have to be out there, no matter what day of 00:20:27.02\00:20:30.23 the week, unless you're working of course. If you got a job they 00:20:30.26\00:20:35.20 are okay with that. But during your days off, soon as they send 00:20:35.23\00:20:40.70 a message, or call you or send you a text message they want you 00:20:40.74\00:20:44.01 to be out there, you know, working for them. So it's, it's 00:20:44.04\00:20:47.58 a rough lifestyle. 00:20:47.61\00:20:49.71 Rough lifestyle. All right, all right. Well I'm not going to get 00:20:49.74\00:20:52.25 into too much detail. I'll leave it at that. But that's just 00:20:52.28\00:20:55.18 fascinating to me. So I know we're going to get into James's 00:20:55.22\00:20:58.09 story because you were also in this previous biker lifestyle 00:20:58.12\00:21:01.39 as well. But you know there came a time when the Lord starts to. 00:21:01.42\00:21:04.93 Were you still in the gang or a part of the group when the Lord 00:21:04.96\00:21:08.26 was starting to speak to you or had you already left? 00:21:08.30\00:21:11.73 Actually yeah, I was still in the gang when God was actually 00:21:11.77\00:21:15.27 tugging my life, because you know I was still breaking the 00:21:15.30\00:21:19.44 Sabbath but I could tell that God was, okay, look what you're 00:21:19.47\00:21:24.25 doing, what are you doing? Do you remember. And remember what 00:21:24.28\00:21:26.78 the Bible says you train up a child, he'll remember these 00:21:26.82\00:21:29.65 things. And I remembered the things that my mom had taught me 00:21:29.68\00:21:32.32 and you realize, okay God, I'm sorry for what I've done and you 00:21:32.35\00:21:36.19 start transitioning in a slow process. Sometimes it's a slow 00:21:36.22\00:21:40.70 process but for me, it was a, it was a fast transition, you 00:21:40.73\00:21:46.23 know from being a club life to living for God now. So... 00:21:46.27\00:21:51.71 So then...and we were talking about this earlier and I told 00:21:51.74\00:21:55.31 you I was going to ask you this question because it's just 00:21:55.34\00:21:58.08 fascinating me. You know, us, the viewers at home who have no 00:21:58.11\00:22:02.22 clue about this particular life style, you know, the biker club 00:22:02.25\00:22:05.62 or biker gangs. It's kind of a common understanding that once 00:22:05.65\00:22:10.39 you get in it's not, it's not easy to get out. You know in 00:22:10.43\00:22:15.33 fact Hollywood really soups it up and make it feel like you 00:22:15.36\00:22:17.13 know your life's on the line or in many cases and so I don't 00:22:17.17\00:22:19.50 know if that's the case but I just wanted to ask you and I'll 00:22:19.53\00:22:21.60 probably ask you as well, James, in regards to you know how do 00:22:21.64\00:22:24.77 you get out of something like this? Is there are process or do 00:22:24.81\00:22:26.98 you just go up to your leader and say you know hey I'm done 00:22:27.01\00:22:29.58 I'm walking away and that's... How does that work? 00:22:29.61\00:22:32.18 One of the difference...like James was in a 1 percent club 00:22:32.21\00:22:36.22 I was not. We fall underneath it but I basically just told them I 00:22:36.25\00:22:42.46 said I'm giving my life to God, I said here's my color, which is 00:22:42.49\00:22:45.09 is your cut. I says I'm done with this lifestyle. And they 00:22:45.13\00:22:48.60 were not happy about it but nothing they could do, you know, 00:22:48.63\00:22:52.13 it's not like the 1 percent club It's a little bit different but 00:22:52.17\00:22:56.20 for us, it was an easy transition kind of but I had a 00:22:56.24\00:23:03.88 lot of backlash from the club members. You know like oh why 00:23:03.91\00:23:07.78 are you leaving us. You disappoint us you know. That 00:23:07.82\00:23:10.79 kind of stuff but I know I planted a seed because there's still one brother that I 00:23:10.82\00:23:14.32 still, talk to there and so praise the Lord that you know 00:23:14.36\00:23:18.23 God is still working in his heart. So it wasn't an easy 00:23:18.26\00:23:22.33 transition but with God anything is possible... 00:23:22.36\00:23:25.40 Amen, brother. I love that. I love that. So we're going to 00:23:25.43\00:23:28.27 come back to you in just a few moments because I know you're 00:23:28.30\00:23:29.80 teaming up with these guys with this He Returns Ministry and 00:23:29.84\00:23:34.01 this big event that's going to be happening in Sturgis soon. 00:23:34.04\00:23:36.44 So we're going to come back to those details. James my brother. 00:23:36.48\00:23:39.11 (Yeah) He's got me intrigued now this 1 percent club. I got to 00:23:39.15\00:23:43.05 know a little bit about something about that. 00:23:43.08\00:23:44.75 But first of all let's go back to...let's talk a little bit 00:23:44.79\00:23:47.89 about your background because you also were very much deeply 00:23:47.92\00:23:52.19 involved in a biker...Do you... do the bikers call it a biker 00:23:52.23\00:23:56.97 gang. What's the language that you use to describe what you 00:23:57.00\00:23:59.87 were part of. 00:23:59.90\00:24:01.24 We're a club. (A club) Okay there's a...you have riding 00:24:01.27\00:24:08.24 organizations, you have associations, you have clubs, 00:24:08.28\00:24:12.61 then you have one percenters. And when you...okay I'm going to 00:24:12.65\00:24:20.56 start from the beginning. I started off as a youngster just 00:24:20.59\00:24:23.36 riding dirt bikes. I got fascinated with motorcycles in 00:24:23.39\00:24:28.40 eighth grade. Our arts teacher got a guy from the local 00:24:28.43\00:24:32.37 Kawasaki dealership to come and we had a motorcycle repair class 00:24:32.40\00:24:35.30 in eighth grade. We had hands-on stuff there. So through high 00:24:35.34\00:24:41.84 school I met some people, some outlaw clubs and the brothers 00:24:41.88\00:24:49.05 kind of took us underwing and You know you meet people and 00:24:49.08\00:24:52.79 then you go work for people and the next thing you know you're 00:24:52.82\00:24:55.06 wrapped up deep in everything. The darkness really... 00:24:55.09\00:24:59.36 So this isn't something that happens kind of overnight. It's 00:24:59.39\00:25:00.80 a gradual... 00:25:00.83\00:25:03.20 It's a process like Pete said. You have to know people and they 00:25:03.23\00:25:07.00 want to know you. If you're going to be dedicated because in 00:25:07.04\00:25:11.67 the one percenter world it's a lot different than all the other 00:25:11.71\00:25:13.07 clubs. You basically marry the mob. You no longer own anything 00:25:13.11\00:25:20.42 in your life. So I got involved with a little club in a little 00:25:20.45\00:25:27.42 town called Livermore. It was called Satan's Legion. It was a 00:25:27.46\00:25:31.43 little local club and that got me...you know when I read the 00:25:31.46\00:25:36.56 story in Mark about the demoniac and what's their name, Legion, 00:25:36.60\00:25:41.50 for many, I went whoa. And I was in a jail cell when I read that 00:25:41.54\00:25:45.87 the first time and then it started taking on more reality 00:25:45.91\00:25:52.21 in my life. Later I got involved with a national club called the 00:25:52.25\00:25:57.22 Banshees where I started off in that club as the road captain 00:25:57.25\00:26:01.92 worked my way up to local president and then I became the 00:26:01.96\00:26:05.19 national president. And the way I got out is my wife used to 00:26:05.23\00:26:11.43 call me you're just mean. And that's how I got out. 00:26:11.47\00:26:14.60 I just told everybody 00:26:14.64\00:26:15.97 this is how it's going to be. And because of the way I lived 00:26:16.00\00:26:19.77 back then nobody wanted to challenge that because 00:26:19.81\00:26:23.18 I was a very bad person. I spent a lot of prison time. 00:26:23.21\00:26:28.25 I gotcha, I gotcha. So it would be safe to say that the old 00:26:28.28\00:26:33.25 James was somebody you didn't want to cross. 00:26:33.29\00:26:36.69 That guy's dead now. As my wife she tells me, Is your dragon 00:26:36.73\00:26:40.16 dead or is it just bury it in the ice? in the snow? I said now 00:26:40.20\00:26:43.83 he's dead. Yeah. 00:26:43.87\00:26:45.27 That's amazing, that's amazing. So how...So then now how do you 00:26:45.30\00:26:47.40 see you know were you a part of these gangs when God got ahold 00:26:47.44\00:26:51.87 of your life or was it, you were out. 00:26:51.91\00:26:55.01 I got out of the club but was still living that life style 00:26:55.04\00:26:58.31 because I had all these connections with people. There 00:26:58.35\00:27:03.15 was a, in 1999 I mean I was involved in meth and meth 00:27:03.18\00:27:10.03 production and got arrested the third time for this situation. 00:27:10.06\00:27:14.43 And my wife got arrested with me and it was somebody in the jail 00:27:14.46\00:27:19.33 that started talking to me about Christ and helped me out. And I 00:27:19.37\00:27:24.01 just want to tell you a little miracle that happened. (Sure, 00:27:24.04\00:27:26.64 sure). We we're 27 days into my wife and I being in the 00:27:26.68\00:27:31.45 Sacramento County Jail and this guy Steven keeps talking to me 00:27:31.48\00:27:33.72 about prayer and God helping me. I wake up in the middle of the 00:27:33.75\00:27:36.75 night and here's this kid face down on the concrete slab in our 00:27:36.79\00:27:41.02 cell just praying his heart out. And that's when the Holy Spirit 00:27:41.06\00:27:43.39 touched my heart and said, It's time. (Wow) So I got down on the 00:27:43.43\00:27:47.60 floor and I prayed with him. Said God you know I know I 00:27:47.63\00:27:51.67 messed up but Faye doesn't deserve to be here. I just pray 00:27:51.70\00:27:55.30 that you would get her out of here. She'd never been in 00:27:55.34\00:27:57.51 trouble in her life. Simple prayer. Next morning they let us 00:27:57.54\00:28:01.61 out for day room time. I'm heading straight for the phone. 00:28:01.64\00:28:05.08 I'm going to call my house because Steven keeps talking to 00:28:05.11\00:28:08.22 me about faith. So I'm jumping out on faith. Faye got out of 00:28:08.25\00:28:11.12 jail last night. (Wow!) I called my house and guess who answered 00:28:11.15\00:28:15.39 the phone. Yeah. She said why are you calling here. I said 00:28:15.42\00:28:20.60 last night I prayed you'd get out of jail and she said, I got 00:28:20.63\00:28:24.47 out last night. I just walked in the door. Right when she walked 00:28:24.50\00:28:28.40 in the door, the phone rang. I looked at Steven and he's 00:28:28.44\00:28:32.27 looking at me and I'm going, all right, I am going to start 00:28:32.31\00:28:34.58 listening to what you're saying. And the process that's happened 00:28:34.61\00:28:38.38 after that is just, I mean, books could be written on the 00:28:38.41\00:28:43.12 miracles... 00:28:43.15\00:28:44.49 It makes you wonder why Steven was in there. 00:28:44.52\00:28:45.85 Oh well I can tell you about Steven. He was there for me. 00:28:45.89\00:28:49.16 Because when he told me why he was arrested I'm going why are 00:28:49.19\00:28:52.76 you even here? It was just amazing. 00:28:52.79\00:28:55.26 It was a miracle. It was a divine appointment that 00:28:55.30\00:28:57.47 God had just for James. (Amen) 00:28:57.50\00:28:58.83 Wow! Praise the Lord. 00:28:59.60\00:29:00.94 And we're still in touch. 00:29:00.97\00:29:02.30 Praise the Lord, that's amazing. So then how did you get involved 00:29:02.34\00:29:05.44 with Sabbath Keepers Motorcycle Ministry? 00:29:05.47\00:29:07.34 So after I did my prison time I got paroled in 2003 and we 00:29:07.38\00:29:13.42 became involved with 3ABN. We were representatives at the 00:29:13.45\00:29:18.39 Redwood Camp meeting for them there through a couple 00:29:18.42\00:29:20.92 that used to do a 00:29:20.96\00:29:23.16 lot with Danny way back then. And so we drove the called 00:29:23.19\00:29:30.03 the Honey Wagon 00:29:30.07\00:29:31.40 the pumper truck and so we were doing the booth, putting the 00:29:31.43\00:29:34.37 literature out for 3ABN and other literature there and 00:29:34.40\00:29:37.44 Sabbath Keepers had a booth there. I didn't know anything 00:29:37.47\00:29:40.44 about them but my wife started talking to the girl that was 00:29:40.48\00:29:42.81 representing them there and my wife told her, she said, I told 00:29:42.84\00:29:46.98 her that you'll get a bike again It's in your blood. So she 00:29:47.02\00:29:51.75 traded information with them and I kept getting these emails 00:29:51.79\00:29:54.69 rapid fire, hey come to this event, come to this event. 00:29:54.72\00:29:58.73 I didn't want to get back involved with bikers again 00:29:58.76\00:30:02.16 because I knew where it just kept taking me back. And as he 00:30:02.20\00:30:04.93 mentioned there's a lot of "Christian" ministries out there 00:30:04.97\00:30:08.10 but they're still drinking and smoking and doing the life style 00:30:08.14\00:30:11.91 Finally, an event came along where I said, Okay we'll go. 00:30:11.94\00:30:17.08 And it was a very special event. The guy that they were doing the 00:30:17.11\00:30:22.88 fundraiser for the lost his home, lost a job, lost his home, 00:30:22.92\00:30:27.89 and then his daughter committed suicide. And so I said let's go 00:30:27.92\00:30:31.33 check this out, see what they're doing with these people. We met 00:30:31.36\00:30:35.30 the people there. They were genuine Seventh-day Adventists. 00:30:35.33\00:30:38.67 That's how I learned about the Adventist message in prison. 00:30:38.70\00:30:40.87 I decided to give my life to that mission and no turning back 00:30:40.90\00:30:47.14 So we got involved with Sabbath Keepers Ministry I think in 2009 00:30:47.18\00:30:52.15 or 2010 and we've gone from just our little local chaplain to I 00:30:52.18\00:30:58.49 was the local president. Now I'm the national vice president. 00:30:58.52\00:31:00.86 Wow, brother how powerful! 00:31:00.89\00:31:02.72 And so you know just amazing how God'll take that chunk of coal 00:31:02.76\00:31:06.43 and start to fashion it for a jewel for Him. 00:31:06.46\00:31:09.70 Absolutely, absolutely. So just out of curiosity. How much time 00:31:09.73\00:31:13.34 out of the year do you guys spend on the road witnessing on 00:31:13.37\00:31:16.34 behalf of your ministries? 00:31:16.37\00:31:17.71 Well we as we said every ride for us is a mission so we get 00:31:17.74\00:31:23.35 together with our local chapters and we organize events. We 00:31:23.38\00:31:28.08 organize you know rides, get together and every opportunity 00:31:28.12\00:31:31.25 you know that we have, if we encounter somebody in a gas 00:31:31.29\00:31:36.86 station we are armed with you know books and literature here 00:31:36.89\00:31:41.53 As a matter of fact, I want to show you really quick, we have 00:31:41.56\00:31:43.77 this is one of the two that we are distributing, over there is 00:31:43.80\00:31:48.17 a Steps to Jesus but it's a motorcyclist's edition. It's 00:31:48.20\00:31:51.94 called The Ride of Your Life. We share thousands of books like 00:31:51.97\00:31:57.18 this in every motorcycle rally that we go. And we try to do it 00:31:57.21\00:32:01.98 all. You know one thing that we do is we partner with the 00:32:02.02\00:32:05.59 local churches. We help other Ministries. So we support all 00:32:05.62\00:32:10.13 the ministries. We do Drive Through Prayer over in Houston 00:32:10.16\00:32:13.90 We are part as well and support the prison ministry in anything 00:32:13.93\00:32:19.23 and everything that we can do. 00:32:19.27\00:32:21.54 Amen. Wow. And so He Returns Ministry, you're with He Returns 00:32:21.57\00:32:26.07 and you said you guys are all about the three angels' messages 00:32:26.11\00:32:28.41 but do you specifically do something similar. Do you ride 00:32:28.44\00:32:32.48 and share with He Returns or is it a different purpose? 00:32:32.51\00:32:38.15 He Returns is a different ministry in what they do. Most 00:32:38.19\00:32:40.76 of our ministries, we do a lot of publishing, especially 00:32:40.79\00:32:45.03 overseas in South Africa and India. We just partnered up. So 00:32:45.06\00:32:49.70 a lot of literature that we're involved with. Matter of fact, 00:32:49.73\00:32:54.50 one of our members is actually working for Streams of Light. He 00:32:54.54\00:32:56.91 is in charge of the publishing clearance house there and so 00:32:56.94\00:33:02.68 we're actually going to be getting our Great Controversy 00:33:02.71\00:33:05.68 book through them, actually. 00:33:05.71\00:33:07.15 I'm very familiar with Streams of Light. Oleg is... 00:33:07.18\00:33:11.19 Oleg, yeah, yeah. Yes so when all this started we got contact 00:33:11.22\00:33:15.19 with Streams of Light and talked with the people there and I know 00:33:15.22\00:33:20.56 that they're going be publishing over three million a month of 00:33:20.60\00:33:26.13 Great Controversy because I believe last year at ASI they 00:33:26.17\00:33:30.27 want to have a billion Great Controversies spread across the 00:33:30.31\00:33:34.08 world by I think what was it by 2024 or something like that. 00:33:34.11\00:33:37.11 So God put it upon my heart that that's what we need to do to 00:33:37.15\00:33:42.28 these bikers up in Sturgis, South Dakota. 00:33:42.32\00:33:44.92 Amen, amen, amen. And so the same thing with you James. Would 00:33:44.95\00:33:49.86 Sabbath Keepers Motorcycle Ministry. How often or how long 00:33:49.89\00:33:52.69 are you guys out on the road you know sharing? 00:33:52.73\00:33:55.20 Well you know for every season there's a purpose and so you 00:33:55.23\00:34:00.34 know in the wintertime basically what we do is we plan when 00:34:00.37\00:34:04.67 springtime rolls around we have our events planned in different 00:34:04.71\00:34:08.54 parts of the nation or different parts of the world and we get 00:34:08.58\00:34:14.28 out there to those events. Like in March there's a Daytona rally 00:34:14.32\00:34:18.52 So we have a local chapter in Florida and Rick Thames who you 00:34:18.55\00:34:23.73 mentioned he travels there with the trailer and his bike because 00:34:23.76\00:34:27.40 somebody has to bring all that literature. So Daytona, we have 00:34:27.43\00:34:32.77 Hollister, Street Vibrations in Reno, Las Vegas. On the west 00:34:32.80\00:34:38.14 coast there's a lot of rally's. In Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, 00:34:38.17\00:34:44.11 Bikes, Blues, and Barbecues. I mean wherever there's a biker 00:34:44.15\00:34:47.35 event you're going to find one of our ministries there. 00:34:47.38\00:34:52.22 Literature evangelists, that's what we are. You know and so 00:34:52.25\00:34:56.26 we're blessed to get there and just...There are so many people 00:34:56.29\00:34:59.06 right now that are asking questions, what is going on in 00:34:59.09\00:35:03.03 What's going on with this crazy world, man? You got to know some 00:35:03.06\00:35:06.20 bikers are asking that question too... 00:35:06.23\00:35:07.90 Yeah because you know I think a lot of us have this idea that 00:35:07.94\00:35:11.41 you know bikers are just hardened you know guys that just 00:35:11.44\00:35:13.98 don't care about anything but their bikes and their you know 00:35:14.01\00:35:16.85 their drugs and their drinking and alcohol and their fighting. 00:35:16.88\00:35:19.98 You just got to think they're just rough yet their humans just 00:35:20.02\00:35:23.72 like all of us and I got to believe that they're asking 00:35:23.75\00:35:27.46 questions too. What's going on? What's going to happen in the 00:35:27.49\00:35:30.73 future? 00:35:30.76\00:35:32.19 You know what's interesting about Sturgis...I like the idea 00:35:32.23\00:35:38.10 of a fisherman. Some people stand on the shore on the bank 00:35:38.13\00:35:42.14 and fish you know so that's in the booth. Some people are in a 00:35:42.17\00:35:45.71 boat. I look at like pastors in the church. But I'm a fly 00:35:45.74\00:35:49.64 fisherman. I like to be out in the stream of things and so I 00:35:49.68\00:35:52.35 go around and I talk to people. Vendors are a captive audience 00:35:52.38\00:35:56.82 because they're right there. They got to be with their 00:35:56.85\00:36:00.96 business right there. And you know I'll talk to them. But some 00:36:00.99\00:36:04.13 of the majors like the Halls Angels have big, big things 00:36:04.16\00:36:07.86 there at Sturgis. You can get into conversations with the guys 00:36:07.90\00:36:11.93 there that they know Bible stuff you know. Um like myself. I was 00:36:11.97\00:36:17.41 raised as a Roman Catholic. We never really read the Bible when 00:36:17.44\00:36:20.44 we were kids. We went to catechism and all but when 00:36:20.48\00:36:24.75 you're in prison somebody's going to hand you a Bible and 00:36:24.78\00:36:27.92 you'll read through it you know and a lot of people know it. 00:36:27.95\00:36:32.72 These guys have read these stories and like I got into a 00:36:32.75\00:36:35.22 conversation with one of the guys at the Colorado chapter 00:36:35.26\00:36:39.19 and started to talking to him about Daniel and the prophecies 00:36:39.23\00:36:43.00 of Daniel and he knew what I was talking about. Then somebody 00:36:43.03\00:36:47.37 came and interrupted our conversation. He had to go but 00:36:47.40\00:36:49.74 well, seeds were planted. And that's what it's all about. It's 00:36:50.01\00:36:54.54 just planting seeds. 00:36:54.58\00:36:55.91 You guys are not just about planting seeds. I think you're 00:36:55.94\00:36:58.31 about to plant an entire field when you go to Sturgis. So Let's 00:36:58.35\00:37:02.02 talk Sturgis now. What is the wo...We've talked about it, 00:37:02.05\00:37:04.82 we've mentioned it a few times. For some of our viewers at home 00:37:04.85\00:37:07.19 they don't have a clue what Sturgis is. I didn't know what 00:37:07.22\00:37:09.39 Sturgis was until just a few minutes ago before this 00:37:09.42\00:37:12.26 interview. So what is Sturgis and what is God leading you guys 00:37:12.29\00:37:16.56 to do there? 00:37:16.60\00:37:17.93 Well I'll start to tell you that it's the biggest motorcycle 00:37:17.97\00:37:21.67 rally and you mentioned in the nation, probably in the world. 00:37:21.70\00:37:24.27 What attendance is in excess of half a million people over there 00:37:24.31\00:37:28.78 Yeah, sometimes close to a million depending on the... 00:37:28.81\00:37:32.41 Yeah. In Texas, we have the Lone Star rally and that is half a 00:37:32.45\00:37:35.52 million people on the island of Galveston so Sturgis maybe will 00:37:35.55\00:37:37.72 be close to a million. Imagine a million bikers, a million 00:37:37.75\00:37:42.99 assistant, probably have a million bikers in this little 00:37:43.02\00:37:45.86 town. So some people have asked us you know what it's like, what 00:37:45.89\00:37:49.56 it's like to be there. You want to have an image of Sodom and 00:37:49.60\00:37:53.27 Gomorrah you go to Sturgis. So it's not for the faint-hearted. 00:37:53.30\00:37:55.94 Clothing is optional, right James. (Optional, yes) 00:37:55.97\00:38:00.21 Wow. You said clothing is optional. Oh wow. 00:38:02.54\00:38:08.22 So it's a mission, it's a mission field. So James and the 00:38:08.25\00:38:11.65 Sabbath Keepers, they have been there continuously 00:38:11.69\00:38:13.56 for the past years. 00:38:13.59\00:38:15.09 Past seven years. This'll be our eighth year in a row. 00:38:15.12\00:38:16.69 Wow. These are events that you would have...that you have 00:38:16.73\00:38:20.33 probably I'm sure attended Sturgis many more times even 00:38:20.36\00:38:23.03 before... 00:38:23.06\00:38:24.40 Oh yeah. The first time I went there I thought it was like 00:38:24.43\00:38:26.50 motorcycle world. I mean it's like...I looked around and it's 00:38:26.53\00:38:30.71 like there's no cars. 00:38:30.74\00:38:34.08 Cars, yeah. I can see motorcycles. 00:38:34.11\00:38:35.44 Motorcycles, yeah. 00:38:35.48\00:38:36.81 I could imagine I-80 leading up to that event. Just all 00:38:36.85\00:38:40.18 motorcycles that major... 00:38:40.22\00:38:41.82 90 and 80 and all 00:38:41.85\00:38:43.42 90 and...oh my goodness. That's amazing, that's amazing. So 00:38:43.45\00:38:46.35 you're going to be going to Sturgis. When is this event now? 00:38:46.39\00:38:50.93 It's August 4th through the 15th 00:38:50.96\00:38:53.76 August 5th through the 14th. 00:38:53.80\00:38:55.33 Okay. And so let's talk about what specifically God is going 00:38:55.36\00:38:59.07 lead you guys to do when you get there and maybe talk a 00:38:59.10\00:39:02.40 little bit about this event and what you've seen and what you've 00:39:02.44\00:39:05.27 experienced when you've done this in the past. 00:39:05.31\00:39:07.18 Sure so before we talk about the Sturgis, I actually met Juan 00:39:07.21\00:39:13.31 Santos, he's from Adventist Motorcycle Ministry, at ASI 00:39:13.35\00:39:17.02 rally last year. And I was walking around and I see this 00:39:17.05\00:39:20.29 guy you know wearing a vest. I was like I know what that is. 00:39:20.32\00:39:23.22 So I ran up to him. I said hey Brother I didn't know there was 00:39:23.26\00:39:26.29 an Adventist Motorcycle Ministry So we got to talking. I got his 00:39:26.33\00:39:31.00 business card and from there I didn't talk to him for a whole 00:39:31.03\00:39:33.77 year. In January of this year I was sitting in my car and the 00:39:33.80\00:39:38.17 Holy Spirit was saying you need to go to Sturgis this year. He 00:39:38.21\00:39:42.48 said, you used to live that life style, you know how to talk to 00:39:42.51\00:39:45.68 them, you know how to approach them. He said you need to go 00:39:45.71\00:39:48.35 witness to them. I said that is a good idea. So that day when 00:39:48.38\00:39:55.52 the Holy Spirit spoke to me I actually, I believe I texted 00:39:55.56\00:39:59.19 Juan that day. I said, Hey I would like to talk to you about 00:39:59.23\00:40:01.93 a ministry idea. I said, Sturgis is coming up you know in eight 00:40:01.96\00:40:06.57 months. I said, Let's do something. Let's collaborate as 00:40:06.60\00:40:09.34 a ministry. So he said yes. And then he got a hold of James and 00:40:09.37\00:40:15.21 we got Sabbath Keeper Motorcycle Ministry, which I didn't know 00:40:15.24\00:40:17.51 about as well. And we ended up getting together with Zoom 00:40:17.55\00:40:21.88 meeting, phone calls, telegram, lots of messages and 00:40:21.92\00:40:27.19 collaborating on what we're going to do, fasting and praying 00:40:27.22\00:40:28.56 as well. And God is leading the way. So our plan is to hand out 00:40:28.59\00:40:34.10 thousands of Great Controversies and Steps to Jesus to everyone 00:40:34.13\00:40:38.33 out there you know because everyone needs to be reached 00:40:38.37\00:40:41.04 from poor too old to gang members whatever lifestyle that 00:40:41.07\00:40:46.51 they been living in everyone needs to be reached because the 00:40:46.54\00:40:50.38 Gospel has to be preached to every nation, tribe, and tongue 00:40:50.41\00:40:54.08 so that the end can come. And that's what we want to do. And 00:40:54.12\00:40:57.02 you don't hear too much about the biker life you know and 00:40:57.05\00:41:00.76 witnessing to them. I mean not when I was an Adventist. 00:41:00.79\00:41:05.66 You know, actually, I still am an Adventist but you don't hear 00:41:05.69\00:41:09.60 about it too much you know. So that's what our plan is and so 00:41:09.63\00:41:13.77 us collaborating together that's what we plan to do. So donations 00:41:13.80\00:41:18.71 and volunteers as well. But if you are going to volunteer, just 00:41:18.74\00:41:21.68 remember what Brother Sinuhe said about Sodom and Gomorrah 00:41:21.71\00:41:27.18 It is not for the faint heart. So you have to be ground rooted 00:41:27.22\00:41:32.82 if you're going to end up volunteering to go there. 00:41:32.85\00:41:35.19 It's like the Nineveh, you know the Nineveh for mission You know 00:41:35.22\00:41:40.76 Some of us come from that world and some of us are reluctant to 00:41:40.80\00:41:44.70 go back, right? But that's our Nineveh. The Lord is sending us 00:41:44.73\00:41:46.87 there. 00:41:46.90\00:41:48.60 That's amazing, that's amazing. So if you don't mind let me see 00:41:48.64\00:41:51.57 this book here for a moment. So this is the Steps to Jesus. So 00:41:51.61\00:41:55.74 for those of you who may not be familiar with this book, of 00:41:55.78\00:41:57.45 course this is the biker version of Steps to Christ written by 00:41:57.48\00:42:01.62 Ellen G. White. This book is powerful. A little over 100 00:42:01.65\00:42:05.15 pages, right at 100 pages, 120, 125 pages. This book changed my 00:42:05.19\00:42:09.39 whole perspective on living for Jesus Christ, what it meant to 00:42:09.42\00:42:13.13 have a personal daily relationship with Him. 00:42:13.16\00:42:15.00 That's why it's called Steps... The original version Steps to 00:42:15.03\00:42:17.77 Christ. This one you know Steps to Jesus. This is genius. 00:42:17.80\00:42:20.64 Because this right here is going to lead, whoever reads this book 00:42:20.67\00:42:24.57 it's going to lead them into a personal relationship with 00:42:24.61\00:42:28.11 Christ. We can have all of the prophecies in our mind, all the 00:42:28.14\00:42:32.71 time frames and all of the proof texts for this and that, but if 00:42:32.75\00:42:34.92 you don't have a personal relationship with Jesus none of 00:42:34.95\00:42:37.39 that stuff matters right. And so the fact that you guys are 00:42:37.42\00:42:39.89 handing this out is neat. This is the very first book ever 00:42:39.92\00:42:42.66 given to me when I was first being introduced to Seventh-day 00:42:42.69\00:42:45.89 Adventists and I went home actually planning to disprove 00:42:45.93\00:42:50.17 Ellen White as a prophet. I said Oh, she's not a prophet. You 00:42:50.20\00:42:54.17 know So the pastor gives me Steps to Christ. Surely if she's 00:42:54.20\00:42:56.17 a false the prophet you'll find something wrong in this book. 00:42:56.20\00:42:58.67 You know read it. I took it home. I think it was by the 00:42:58.71\00:43:01.24 third chapter I was just like Whoa. This woman has to be a 00:43:01.28\00:43:05.28 prophet. And the more and more I read I found myself just being 00:43:05.31\00:43:08.75 drawn more and more and more to Jesus. So these are the kind of 00:43:08.78\00:43:11.72 books, this is one of the books you're going to be handing out 00:43:11.75\00:43:13.69 when you go to Sturgis. They're going to be putting thousands 00:43:13.72\00:43:16.26 and thousands of copies in these roughened, hard bikers hands. 00:43:16.29\00:43:20.63 And I have to just ask you guys you've done this before 00:43:20.66\00:43:23.77 obviously at some of these different rallies. Do you ever 00:43:23.80\00:43:25.87 have any like negative experiences when you go to hand 00:43:25.90\00:43:29.70 it to them. I'm sure some of them are just like puff you 00:43:29.74\00:43:32.27 know. Chuckles. 00:43:32.31\00:43:34.14 I could tell you just two years ago when we were at Daytona 00:43:34.18\00:43:38.28 rally sometimes you'll try to hand someone a book and they'll 00:43:38.31\00:43:42.58 say no I'm good. And the Lord gave me this return. Don't you 00:43:42.62\00:43:46.25 want to be better? And the guy turned around and he said, Okay 00:43:46.29\00:43:50.89 I'll take it. You know and so I started using that and it's 00:43:50.93\00:43:54.23 amazing how many more people just took the book. And so and 00:43:54.26\00:43:59.30 that's also the first book I read of the Adventist book in 00:43:59.33\00:44:03.71 prison in Folsom State Prison that before I even knew about 00:44:03.74\00:44:06.11 Seventh-day Adventists I read that book and it was missing 00:44:06.14\00:44:08.38 pages but I was like fascinated with this writing. Then when I 00:44:08.41\00:44:13.31 was introduced to the Adventist message and the Great 00:44:13.35\00:44:16.42 Controversy. That changed my whole view on what I learned as 00:44:16.45\00:44:22.02 a Roman Catholic kid. 00:44:22.06\00:44:23.39 Okay so the Great Controversy now, let's just talk about that 00:44:23.43\00:44:26.59 one because you're going to also by handing out Great Controversy 00:44:26.63\00:44:28.76 Okay, this is basically the...You want to slide that 00:44:28.80\00:44:32.80 down here to me. This is basically...God gave Mrs. White this book. This was 00:44:32.83\00:44:37.61 the last of what's called the Great Conflict Series or the 00:44:37.64\00:44:40.18 Conflict of the Ages Series. It's basically a commentary on 00:44:40.21\00:44:45.01 the book of Revelation and from the time of John on the Island 00:44:45.05\00:44:47.52 of Patmos all the way through the church ages all the way down 00:44:47.55\00:44:50.19 to even beyond the second coming of Christ and to the New Earth 00:44:50.22\00:44:53.99 and so on. This book is, I mean I can't even...I don't even know 00:44:54.02\00:44:57.73 if I can find the words. Hey there have been so many people 00:44:57.76\00:45:00.30 whose lives have been transformed by reading this book 00:45:00.33\00:45:03.13 because it's not only a great book of history. It's a book 00:45:03.16\00:45:06.13 that literally draws you to the prophetic text draws you to 00:45:06.17\00:45:10.07 Christ through the prophetic text and it helps in a great 00:45:10.11\00:45:13.68 detailed manner to prepare us and to inform us about what is 00:45:13.71\00:45:17.48 happening right now, what Christ is doing right now in the 00:45:17.51\00:45:20.52 heavenly sanctuary above and how we should prepare for His soon 00:45:20.55\00:45:24.29 return and it also gives us all of the prophetic details of how 00:45:24.32\00:45:27.59 the final events are going to unfold in a very detailed manner 00:45:27.62\00:45:30.63 from now all the way until the end of time. So I could imagine 00:45:30.66\00:45:35.66 there's a lot...just the title alone, The Great Controversy, 00:45:35.70\00:45:40.60 it's just captivating. It's a great, I mean they should make a 00:45:40.64\00:45:44.57 movie out of it. I know they have some movies out there but a 00:45:44.61\00:45:47.58 big, big production should be done of this book. It's 00:45:47.61\00:45:50.25 fantastic. 00:45:50.28\00:45:51.61 Again, three years ago when the COVID thing started and liberty 00:45:51.65\00:45:55.38 of conscience started to be threatened, the Lord gave me 00:45:55.42\00:45:59.32 that little entering wedge to hand out that book. I put a book 00:45:59.35\00:46:03.69 marker in, I mean I took a lot of them and put that in the page 00:46:03.73\00:46:06.83 there, and I just would open up and I would ask the people who 00:46:06.86\00:46:09.16 would come to the booth, do you think the title of this chapter 00:46:09.20\00:46:12.83 is relevant for the time we're living in. And they go 00:46:12.87\00:46:15.90 absolutely. I said, let me tell you when this book was written. 00:46:15.94\00:46:18.17 And when I tell them the date they're like oh I got to read 00:46:18.21\00:46:21.71 that. I said you should just read these last 10 chapters. You 00:46:21.74\00:46:24.81 will want to read the rest of it 00:46:24.85\00:46:26.75 That's right brother. That's right. Yeah, because you know I 00:46:26.78\00:46:29.48 think the first half of the book or so a little bit more than the 00:46:29.52\00:46:31.79 first half is just a powerful history walking us through the 00:46:31.82\00:46:35.02 time of the fall of Jerusalem in 70 A.D. all the way through the 00:46:35.06\00:46:38.43 dark ages, those 1260 years of papal reign and all of you know 00:46:38.46\00:46:46.30 persecution that's happening there. But I agree with you man. 00:46:46.33\00:46:48.80 Those last 10 chapters are just whew (yes). It's a powerful 00:46:48.84\00:46:51.77 book. If you haven't read The Great Controversy my friends 00:46:51.81\00:46:55.21 get you a copy of The Great Controversy because that's what 00:46:55.24\00:46:58.31 these guys are going to be handing out when they go to 00:46:58.35\00:47:00.02 Sturgis. And so what are some stories or some reactions? Have 00:47:00.05\00:47:04.25 you had anyone at the rallies or someone that you have shared 00:47:04.29\00:47:07.32 this with that have responded to you in regards to reading the 00:47:07.36\00:47:11.29 content? 00:47:11.33\00:47:12.66 In the Lone Star rally, you know we have many, many _ 00:47:12.69\00:47:15.56 and when we went there we got a booth right in front of the 00:47:15.60\00:47:19.70 stage. You know they're blasting hard rock music like almost 24/7 00:47:19.73\00:47:24.74 for four days, right? So we thought oh we got the worst spot 00:47:24.77\00:47:29.14 to be. But actually, it turned out to be a blessing. And to the 00:47:29.18\00:47:34.52 left there was a vape and smoke you know dispensary and to the 00:47:34.55\00:47:41.79 right was a jewelry, biker jewelry and injury and stuff 00:47:41.82\00:47:45.49 like that so we were right in the middle. And we were handing 00:47:45.53\00:47:48.56 out these books and the people from the booths, they were mad 00:47:48.60\00:47:51.73 at us because the people kept you know leaving those books 00:47:51.77\00:47:54.87 over there in their places. But the Holy Spirit is the One who 00:47:54.90\00:47:59.27 does the work you know. And on the mornings, Sunday morning, 00:47:59.31\00:48:04.58 they do worship over there, they do worship on the stage because 00:48:04.61\00:48:08.42 they let the Christian ministries take over and do 00:48:08.45\00:48:10.45 worship. And this guy comes to the stage and he says I just 00:48:10.49\00:48:15.86 encountered this book you know yesterday and he starts reading 00:48:15.89\00:48:20.50 pages from the Steps to Jesus in the stage in front of those 00:48:20.53\00:48:24.70 thousands of bikers. (Wow!) And he asked us to come in and to 00:48:24.73\00:48:30.31 pray with them. (Amen) 00:48:30.34\00:48:31.67 That's amazing. So you're seeing not only are seeds being sewn 00:48:31.71\00:48:35.44 but you're seeing the fruit of the labor. That's what you're 00:48:35.48\00:48:37.75 doing. That's what this is all about right? You know handing 00:48:37.78\00:48:40.85 out...you know sharing the gospel my friends. You never 00:48:40.88\00:48:43.95 know. Just the sharing of a book the sharing of the gospel 00:48:43.99\00:48:47.46 message in the form of literature is powerful because 00:48:47.49\00:48:49.69 they may not listen to you tell them, but they'll take it home 00:48:49.72\00:48:52.26 and they'll read it. And those words just come alive when a 00:48:52.29\00:48:55.90 person is in the quietness of their own home or wherever it is 00:48:55.93\00:48:59.47 Maybe on the road somewhere, in a motel, riding across the 00:48:59.50\00:49:02.77 nation on a motorcycle. This is the real deal. So I have to ask 00:49:02.80\00:49:08.84 though, I'm just so curious. When you get to this event, like 00:49:08.88\00:49:12.11 Sturgis or any of these other rallies you got to know that you 00:49:12.15\00:49:15.28 guys are running into some of your old friends. You got to 00:49:15.32\00:49:18.55 know some people see you and say hey! There's Pete. What is 00:49:18.59\00:49:22.96 Pete doing here? What is James doing here? Do you have some 00:49:22.99\00:49:26.16 moments like that and how does that usually go when you meet 00:49:26.19\00:49:29.76 people from your past life and then they see what you're doing 00:49:29.80\00:49:32.57 now? 00:49:32.60\00:49:34.04 Oh yeah. We had at the Reno Street Vibrations a girl that I 00:49:34.07\00:49:38.54 used to go out with. She said, Oh I'm living over here and 00:49:38.57\00:49:43.01 Sherry's up here too and so she told me that they both were 00:49:43.04\00:49:49.58 going to come to the booth and when they got there she told 00:49:49.62\00:49:53.56 Sherry, she goes yeah, he's nothing like he used to be. 00:49:53.59\00:49:57.99 I said well praise God for that. It's nothing I can change. 00:49:58.03\00:50:02.76 Without me, you can do nothing He said. And so you know when 00:50:02.80\00:50:06.23 you commit yourself...I committed myself into that dark 00:50:06.27\00:50:09.60 world at one time. Now I've given my whole life to Christ 00:50:09.64\00:50:12.51 saying where you send me I will go. And that's, you know, in all 00:50:12.54\00:50:17.55 the years that my wife and I have been involved in this 00:50:17.58\00:50:20.28 the ministry we've never lacked for anything and we have this 00:50:20.32\00:50:26.92 phrase if it's God's will it's God's bill. And a couple of 00:50:26.96\00:50:29.96 times when we were going to go to Sturgis you know everybody 00:50:29.99\00:50:33.13 was freaking out because we didn't have enough money. I said 00:50:33.16\00:50:36.26 if the Lord wants us there, we'll have the money before the 00:50:36.30\00:50:38.43 deadlines and every year everything has been paid for. 00:50:38.47\00:50:42.70 And so you know definitely the Lord wants us there and so... 00:50:42.74\00:50:44.57 Amen, Absolutely, praise the Lord. I'm guessing that's a 00:50:44.61\00:50:47.58 similar situation with you as well, huh? 00:50:47.61\00:50:49.48 Well actually I know that I'm going to be in Sturgis this year 00:50:49.51\00:50:52.71 and I'm probably going to see my old club members there so, 00:50:52.75\00:50:56.12 because they're still there and I think it's going to be a 00:50:56.15\00:51:00.42 blessing because they're going to see a huge change in me 00:51:00.46\00:51:02.62 because they knew the lifestyle I used to be. I used to be a 00:51:02.66\00:51:05.86 hothead person. You know, just didn't have a care in life but I 00:51:05.89\00:51:12.00 know they notice a huge difference you know because I'm 00:51:12.03\00:51:13.70 still friends with them on Facebook and I put a lot of 00:51:13.74\00:51:17.37 stuff of Ellen White quotes and actually, a lot of 3ABN videos 00:51:17.41\00:51:23.18 as well. So I can't wait because it's going to be a blessing to 00:51:23.21\00:51:27.38 see them because I do want to witness to them. I do want to 00:51:27.42\00:51:30.65 let them know that hey Jesus loves you. He wants you to be in 00:51:30.69\00:51:34.59 his kingdom. He says He loves the sinner but He hates the sin. 00:51:34.62\00:51:42.30 And that's what He does and He loves everyone no matter what 00:51:42.33\00:51:46.33 you have done in your life and that's what He wants all of us 00:51:46.37\00:51:49.94 to do. 00:51:49.97\00:51:51.31 All right, so how can people contact AMM Adventist Motorcycle 00:51:51.34\00:51:55.31 Ministries? How can they get in contact with you? 00:51:55.34\00:51:56.68 Well if you want to be a part of a ministry a motorcycle ministry 00:51:56.75\00:52:00.45 you don't need a motorcycle. You can call me personally. 00:52:00.48\00:52:03.35 Bought myself a number. They're going to show it (832) 343-3036 00:52:03.39\00:52:08.86 or go to the web to AdventistMotorcycleMinistry.org 00:52:08.89\00:52:13.53 AdventistMotorcycleMinistry.org He Returns Ministry, how can 00:52:13.56\00:52:17.83 they get in contact with you? 00:52:17.87\00:52:19.20 info@HeReturns.org and we have a phone number there as well 00:52:19.23\00:52:23.07 (844)453-7874 and we're also going to put up the flyer as 00:52:23.10\00:52:25.91 well so you could donate and actually, find more information 00:52:25.94\00:52:30.01 about donations and volunteer work. 00:52:30.05\00:52:32.41 So if you don't read that number back just one more time guys. 00:52:32.45\00:52:35.95 That's (844) 453-7874. Thank you so much my brother. All right so we kind of ran out of time here. We're 00:53:07.22\00:53:09.72 going to take a short break. We'll be back in just a moment. 00:53:09.75\00:53:12.22
