I was born in Mexico but I only

years. And there was this
one day that I said a specific

prayer and with that prayer

God really wants to restore His

ways is through education. And I

remember I was reading through
the book Education and I was

I went to public school up until

college. And it said in true
education you're supposed to

read the Bible. You're supposed
to you know pray in class which

in public school, you don't do.
And I was reading this, my heart

was convicted. I was in my
junior year of high school. And

I said Lord if you want me
to receive this education you're

going to have to open the door
because I don't know how, where.

And there were Adventist schools
near where I lived in Kentucky

but it just wasn't as the ideal
the sample that God had, the

blueprint. And lo and behold,
two years later the Lord brought

people that knew about Ouachita.
And I was like, at first I'll be

honest, I was super reluctant.

nowhere, no internet, and like
out in the boonies. And so I

brought me from where I was

foundational to the philosophy

says in chapter one, she says

that in the highest sense the
work of education and the work

of redemption are one. In
other words, education equals

salvation. She says that it not
only has to do with this life

but the life to come. The
service that we have in this

life and the greater joy of
service in the life to come. She

perspective is too narrow.

mean typically you go to any

it's like hey you go out there,

can get your job so that you can

get the house in the suburbs
with the white picket fence and

drive your SUV and you have your

but it's a statistic. You have

your two kids and you have your
home and then you build your

nice little nest egg and then
you retire and then you die.

So that's kind of the vision of
education. Now there's nothing

types of things but the book

if your educational endeavor is

that's a revolutionary paradigm,

analogy is but it's a totally

of the focus and the emphasis.
So if education equal salvation

our love for Christ is going to

us into a lifestyle of sin and

to have to have an education

between making it in society

time there has been a revolution

education. There's a statement

ultimate goal of education.

in heaven, two philosophies of

versus truth. So the division

down to earth. And then after

the fall you can see two
lines of education coming down

through scripture. The
descendants of Seth versus the

descendants of Cain. The
descendants of Cain congregated

in cities. The descendants
of Seth were in the country. And

you have that lineage that
continues on the schools of

the prophets and down through
Jesus's day. And as Sarah

mentioned she's home schooled.
Nothing wrong with that, good

now we're not against
conventional education, we're

not espousing that but what I'm
pointing out is many times when

world versus the education such

Sometimes there can be this

idea of like hey that's unusual.
Or even a stigma that can be

associated, right? So it's kind
of like...remember Jesus when he

was growing up and even in his
ministry they're like how does

this man have learning having
never learned? He didn't go to

school to the rabbis. And so you
can see that typically from a

worldly perspective even in the
time of Jesus if you're going to

raise a world changer it can't
be a conventional education.

can see that in our world today

School shootings. There are

pray in school. Transgender, all

this is the society that we're

living in, growing up in
today and there's an educational

system that is being raised up
to raise up a generation in the

end of time that's going to
receive the mark of the beast.

an educational system too that

is preparing a people to receive
the seal of God. And that is the

no, he's going to be five, I
said oh maybe one day when he's

you know, around academy age
I'll go and get on my knees and

beg the academy to go and teach
Bible someday and when he goes

to college do that, but now when
the call came to be president of

the college I was like all right
Lord, um I'll do it. Not because

I'm qualified, he qualifies
the called but in the end I

recognized that for such a
time as this. There's a need to

raise up a generation of young
people that don't fear to call

sin by its right name. Like the
book Education say, who stand

fall, are true to duty as the

compass needle is to the north
pole. I generation who'd rather

die than lie and dishonor God.
That's the passion that I have

for education and individuals
like Judit and Sarah is what

keeps me going. Because you
can see as you contribute to an

environment, lead an
organization, teach in the

the young people grasping and

developing these ideas.
Education's tough. It takes time
