00:08:30.74\00:08:32.64 Okay. 00:08:32.67\00:08:34.01 Did you grow up in a Christian home? 00:08:34.04\00:08:35.38 I did. 00:08:35.41\00:08:36.75 I grew up in a Christian home, 00:08:36.78\00:08:38.11 a Seventh-day Adventist Christian home. 00:08:38.15\00:08:39.48 And I always like to give my parents a shout out 00:08:39.51\00:08:41.85 because my parents, 00:08:41.88\00:08:43.75 they instilled in my sister and I 00:08:43.79\00:08:45.59 the importance of a Christian education. 00:08:45.62\00:08:47.76 So elementary school, middle school, 00:08:47.79\00:08:50.46 high school and university, 00:08:50.49\00:08:52.49 I went to a Christian university. 00:08:52.53\00:08:54.43 Oakwood College was my Alma mater. 00:08:54.46\00:08:56.87 So, yes, growing up 00:08:56.90\00:08:58.57 I was in a loving Seventh-day Adventist Christian home. 00:08:58.60\00:09:01.00 So I've always had a love for God. 00:09:01.04\00:09:03.54 And it stemmed from my parents 00:09:03.57\00:09:04.97 what they instilled in my sister and I. 00:09:05.01\00:09:06.34 You know what? 00:09:06.37\00:09:07.71 That's so important 00:09:07.74\00:09:09.08 because, and take this to the bank. 00:09:09.11\00:09:11.05 If your religion is just about rules, 00:09:11.08\00:09:14.65 if that's rules without relationship, 00:09:14.68\00:09:17.92 it results in rebellion 99 out of 100 times. 00:09:17.95\00:09:21.56 But if you teach your child 00:09:21.59\00:09:23.73 to have, how much God loves them 00:09:23.76\00:09:26.63 and to love God in return, 00:09:26.66\00:09:29.40 then we get these beautiful lives. 00:09:29.43\00:09:33.64 So you went to college, you got your degree in? 00:09:33.67\00:09:37.97 I have a degree in computer science 00:09:38.01\00:09:40.31 and I also have an associate's degree 00:09:40.34\00:09:41.94 in commercial art. 00:09:41.98\00:09:43.31 Yes, then it's amazing 00:09:43.35\00:09:45.08 because you were top of your class. 00:09:45.11\00:09:47.75 You got the dream job. 00:09:47.78\00:09:49.95 Tell us about your job with NASA? 00:09:49.98\00:09:52.55 So when I was at Oakwood College, 00:09:52.59\00:09:54.52 they had a program for computer science 00:09:54.56\00:09:56.49 and math majors 00:09:56.52\00:09:57.86 and it was in conjunction with NASA. 00:09:57.89\00:10:00.60 So I had an internship and then when I graduated, 00:10:00.63\00:10:03.43 God is good. 00:10:03.47\00:10:04.80 I was blessed with an offer to continue working with them. 00:10:04.83\00:10:07.70 So I got a job, yes, with NASA as a web developer. 00:10:07.74\00:10:10.91 And it was amazing, wonderful boss, John Sudderth, 00:10:10.94\00:10:14.84 if he ever watches this video, it was years ago 00:10:14.88\00:10:17.45 but he was an amazing boss, had amazing coworkers. 00:10:17.48\00:10:20.38 It was a great job. 00:10:20.42\00:10:21.75 It was a wonderful job. 00:10:21.78\00:10:23.12 But sometimes God has other plans. 00:10:23.15\00:10:25.72 So, yes, I worked there for a while. 00:10:25.75\00:10:29.29 And then God told me it was time for me to move on. 00:10:29.32\00:10:34.66 He said, "Tiffani, I know you enjoy this job, 00:10:34.70\00:10:36.93 but I have a greater work for you to do." 00:10:36.97\00:10:39.20 Now, let me stop you for just a second. 00:10:39.23\00:10:41.17 Because I remember when I first came here 00:10:41.20\00:10:42.90 and I'd say, well, God told me this, 00:10:42.94\00:10:44.57 God told me that, and people were like. 00:10:44.61\00:10:47.24 Did He really tell? 00:10:47.28\00:10:48.61 "Yeah, you know, with this woman." 00:10:48.64\00:10:50.08 But what we're talking about 00:10:50.11\00:10:52.31 is the still small voice of the Lord. 00:10:52.35\00:10:55.58 You know, I bet almost everybody watching 00:10:55.62\00:10:58.09 if you're a Christian, 00:10:58.12\00:10:59.45 there are times you know 00:10:59.49\00:11:00.82 that God has put a thought in your mind. 00:11:00.86\00:11:03.56 And it's not your thought. 00:11:03.59\00:11:06.13 You realize where it's coming from. 00:11:06.16\00:11:08.23 So it's not like you heard over the megaphone, 00:11:08.26\00:11:11.23 this big booming voice, 00:11:11.27\00:11:12.70 "Tiffani, it's time to change jobs." 00:11:12.73\00:11:15.34 But you knew that God was speaking to you, 00:11:15.37\00:11:19.27 calling you out into something different. 00:11:19.31\00:11:21.91 Yes. 00:11:21.94\00:11:23.28 So what did you do? 00:11:23.31\00:11:24.65 So just like you mentioned, it was a still small voice. 00:11:24.68\00:11:27.88 And I said, okay God, you're telling me. 00:11:27.92\00:11:31.32 Actually, stemmed from there's a parable 00:11:31.35\00:11:34.16 that Jesus mentions, 00:11:34.19\00:11:35.52 I'm sure many of us are familiar with the parable, 00:11:35.56\00:11:37.36 where He talks about the talents, 00:11:37.39\00:11:39.46 and I enjoy drawing and painting. 00:11:39.49\00:11:41.96 So my family, my friends know I love art. 00:11:42.00\00:11:44.33 And God basically was saying, "Tiffani, you have this talent. 00:11:44.37\00:11:48.00 But right now, you're not doing anything with it." 00:11:48.04\00:11:50.64 And I thought about the parable and I said, 00:11:50.67\00:11:52.01 "Okay God, I do want to use this talent for You." 00:11:52.04\00:11:54.71 And that's how He led me to leave my job. 00:11:54.74\00:11:57.28 And I actually moved. 00:11:57.31\00:11:58.65 My job, I was working in Huntsville, Alabama. 00:11:58.68\00:12:00.38 I moved back to Maryland with my parents. 00:12:00.42\00:12:02.68 Now, that was also a very interesting situation. 00:12:02.72\00:12:05.62 I'm the youngest girl. 00:12:05.65\00:12:07.39 And my parents, you know, they were excited. 00:12:07.42\00:12:10.66 Our daughters, we've put them through Christian school 00:12:10.69\00:12:13.06 their entire lives. 00:12:13.09\00:12:14.53 They both graduated, 00:12:14.56\00:12:15.90 my sister at the time was married. 00:12:15.93\00:12:17.30 I was the last one. 00:12:17.33\00:12:18.67 I had graduated, had a great job, 00:12:18.70\00:12:20.07 had bought a house. 00:12:20.10\00:12:21.44 They thought, we're done. 00:12:21.47\00:12:23.51 One day, the call came. 00:12:23.54\00:12:26.54 My dad calls me baby girl. 00:12:26.57\00:12:28.24 He says, "Hey, baby girl. 00:12:28.28\00:12:29.61 How are you?" 00:12:29.64\00:12:30.98 I said, "Daddy, I am great. 00:12:31.01\00:12:32.35 However, I have something to tell you." 00:12:32.38\00:12:34.02 He said, "Okay, let me get your mom real quick." 00:12:34.05\00:12:35.55 So the three of us were on the phone. 00:12:35.58\00:12:37.72 And, of course, I could tell they were in a good mood. 00:12:37.75\00:12:40.09 I said, "So God told me to quit my job." 00:12:40.12\00:12:44.03 And there was a long silence. 00:12:44.06\00:12:46.29 I'm sure. 00:12:46.33\00:12:47.66 And my dad said, "Baby girl, 00:12:47.70\00:12:50.50 I'm not sure that was God's voice." 00:12:50.53\00:12:53.74 So I said, well, so we continue having the conversation. 00:12:53.77\00:12:57.81 And I explained to them, I said, 00:12:57.84\00:12:59.17 "You know, you raised my sister and I to trust God." 00:12:59.21\00:13:02.48 And when God tells us to do something, 00:13:02.51\00:13:04.38 even when it's hard to move forward. 00:13:04.41\00:13:06.35 And again, eventually they said, 00:13:06.38\00:13:07.72 "Okay, well, whatever God is telling you." 00:13:07.75\00:13:09.88 That conversation was just very funny. 00:13:09.92\00:13:11.99 But, so I sold my house, I moved back with my parents. 00:13:12.02\00:13:15.32 And again, my whole life changed, 00:13:15.36\00:13:17.19 went back with my parents for about a two-year period. 00:13:17.23\00:13:19.76 During that two-year period, 00:13:19.79\00:13:21.13 I just focused on producing artwork, 00:13:21.16\00:13:23.16 producing paintings 00:13:23.20\00:13:24.53 because I wanted to bring God glory. 00:13:24.57\00:13:25.90 And again, I'm appreciative of my parents 00:13:25.93\00:13:28.10 for understanding the transition 00:13:28.14\00:13:30.91 and allowing God to lead so. 00:13:30.94\00:13:32.54 Amen. 00:13:32.57\00:13:33.91 But while you were at Oakwood, 00:13:33.94\00:13:35.28 you had heard stories of South Korea. 00:13:35.31\00:13:37.75 Yes. 00:13:37.78\00:13:39.11 And you had made a determination 00:13:39.15\00:13:40.75 that after you finished your career path 00:13:40.78\00:13:43.35 that she wanted to be a missionary. 00:13:43.39\00:13:45.92 It felt called even back in college 00:13:45.95\00:13:48.29 to go to South Korea. 00:13:48.32\00:13:49.92 So after a couple of years of this artwork, 00:13:49.96\00:13:52.96 how did you end up in South Korea? 00:13:52.99\00:13:55.53 So, yes, I had heard about South Korea 00:13:55.56\00:13:57.63 the mission opportunity when I was at Oakwood, 00:13:57.67\00:13:59.60 but I decided to continue with my career 00:13:59.63\00:14:01.80 and then I'll do it later. 00:14:01.84\00:14:03.17 So about the second year 00:14:03.20\00:14:05.17 when I was still drawing and painting, 00:14:05.21\00:14:07.01 again, God spoke that's still small voice, 00:14:07.04\00:14:09.31 "Is that okay, Tiff? 00:14:09.34\00:14:10.95 Now, I need you to do mission work in South Korea." 00:14:10.98\00:14:13.75 I had a lot of friends that had travelled to South Korea 00:14:13.78\00:14:16.05 and they were missionaries and they told me 00:14:16.08\00:14:17.52 how amazing their experience had been. 00:14:17.55\00:14:19.62 So I looked into it and I applied. 00:14:19.65\00:14:22.42 And the initial plan 00:14:22.46\00:14:23.79 was just to be there for a year. 00:14:23.83\00:14:25.16 I wanted to teach the Bible 00:14:25.19\00:14:26.53 and I wanted to also help students 00:14:26.56\00:14:28.70 speak English well. 00:14:28.73\00:14:30.73 However, I also told God, 00:14:30.77\00:14:33.34 I would not live in another country 00:14:33.37\00:14:35.00 without learning their language. 00:14:35.04\00:14:37.01 So I told my parents I'm going for a year, 00:14:37.04\00:14:39.27 they said, "Okay, you know, we'll miss you but okay." 00:14:39.31\00:14:42.01 That year turned into 10 years, so I speak Korean fluently. 00:14:42.04\00:14:45.75 There are many things that happened 00:14:45.78\00:14:47.12 during that 10-year period. 00:14:47.15\00:14:48.82 But it was so amazing, 00:14:48.85\00:14:50.32 being in Korea as an English missionary. 00:14:50.35\00:14:53.09 It was great. It really changed my life. 00:14:53.12\00:14:55.32 And while you were there, 00:14:55.36\00:14:57.86 not only were you reaching out and embracing the people, 00:14:57.89\00:15:01.46 but you embraced the culture. 00:15:01.50\00:15:03.00 Yes. 00:15:03.03\00:15:04.37 You used that talent that God gave you, 00:15:04.40\00:15:05.73 the gift of art and you took some classes there. 00:15:05.77\00:15:09.77 Tell us about that? 00:15:09.80\00:15:11.14 Yes. So what happened, I was in Korea. 00:15:11.17\00:15:14.11 And again, I mentioned earlier, I wanted to speak Korean. 00:15:14.14\00:15:16.91 So I started studying on my own. 00:15:16.95\00:15:18.78 Then I found a program in one of the local universities 00:15:18.81\00:15:21.38 and I started studying Korean there. 00:15:21.42\00:15:23.05 Is that a difficult language to learn? 00:15:23.08\00:15:24.89 Extremely. 00:15:24.92\00:15:26.25 On a scale of one to 10, it's a 15. 00:15:26.29\00:15:28.32 So it was not easy at all. 00:15:28.36\00:15:31.39 And just to give you an example, 00:15:31.43\00:15:32.76 so in English, we say, take a shower. 00:15:32.79\00:15:36.16 In Korean, it's the flip. 00:15:36.20\00:15:37.97 So it's syawoleulhada. 00:15:38.00\00:15:39.93 It means shower I did, if I directly translated that. 00:15:39.97\00:15:43.41 So you have this language. 00:15:43.44\00:15:45.44 And again, I was 27, 00:15:45.47\00:15:46.81 when I started learning the language. 00:15:46.84\00:15:48.54 So I already was very familiar with English, of course, 00:15:48.58\00:15:51.61 and to learn in a language 00:15:51.65\00:15:53.18 that was totally opposite of my own. 00:15:53.21\00:15:55.12 The grammar was different. 00:15:55.15\00:15:56.48 There were so many other things about their culture 00:15:56.52\00:15:58.49 built into the language, it was extremely difficult. 00:15:58.52\00:16:01.32 But again, God helped me through it. 00:16:01.36\00:16:02.69 But while I was studying, 00:16:02.72\00:16:04.33 I got to about a level three or level four. 00:16:04.36\00:16:06.56 But I was studying and teaching at the same time. 00:16:06.59\00:16:09.23 So my schedule, I wake up at four in the morning. 00:16:09.26\00:16:11.63 I am an early bird 00:16:11.67\00:16:13.00 and a lot of my friends and family know this. 00:16:13.03\00:16:14.50 I would wake up at 4 am 00:16:14.54\00:16:16.07 and I'd study from 4 am to about 8 am. 00:16:16.10\00:16:19.24 Then I take a shower, eat breakfast 00:16:19.27\00:16:21.04 and I'd go to the university 00:16:21.08\00:16:22.41 from 9 am to 1 pm taking classes, 00:16:22.44\00:16:25.11 come home, take a short nap. 00:16:25.15\00:16:26.88 And from 2 pm to 10 pm, 00:16:26.92\00:16:29.82 I would teach the English classes 00:16:29.85\00:16:31.49 at the missionary institute. 00:16:31.52\00:16:32.95 This was my life for about 10 months, 00:16:32.99\00:16:35.26 every day except, of course, Friday 00:16:35.29\00:16:37.33 because it was a Christian institute. 00:16:37.36\00:16:39.53 So When I got to the 10th month, 00:16:39.56\00:16:41.60 I realized that I had reached the plateau. 00:16:41.63\00:16:43.43 Wait a minute, you just said except for Friday 00:16:43.47\00:16:45.40 because it was a Christian institute, 00:16:45.43\00:16:47.64 was a Seventh-day Adventist Christian 00:16:47.67\00:16:49.50 if you would tell? 00:16:49.54\00:16:50.87 Yes, Seventh-day Adventist. So Friday was... 00:16:50.91\00:16:53.38 Friday is preparation day for the Sabbath. 00:16:53.41\00:16:56.21 So there are many institutions of Seventh-day Adventists 00:16:56.24\00:17:00.25 that have either work half a day on Friday 00:17:00.28\00:17:03.02 or none on Friday, 00:17:03.05\00:17:04.39 so that you can be prepared. 00:17:04.42\00:17:05.79 So yes, I'm sorry and Sabbath and Sunday. 00:17:05.82\00:17:08.12 So Saturday and Sunday, I also did not do that. 00:17:08.16\00:17:09.99 So it got to the point 00:17:10.03\00:17:11.66 where it was a little bit overwhelming. 00:17:11.69\00:17:13.09 I reached this plateau in my Korean language journey. 00:17:13.13\00:17:16.10 And a friend of mine that was in my class told me, 00:17:16.13\00:17:19.87 "Tiffani, why don't you apply for the scholarship?" 00:17:19.90\00:17:22.07 I said, "What scholarship are you referring to?" 00:17:22.10\00:17:23.74 Because I was the oldest individual in the class. 00:17:23.77\00:17:26.04 The other individuals were about 18 years old. 00:17:26.07\00:17:28.28 They were younger than me. 00:17:28.31\00:17:29.74 And I said, "How are these individuals studying here 00:17:29.78\00:17:31.85 when I'm working to fund my education." 00:17:31.88\00:17:34.92 So I found out about a Korean scholarship 00:17:34.95\00:17:36.69 from the government. 00:17:36.72\00:17:38.05 Fast forward, I applied for it. 00:17:38.09\00:17:39.89 Praise God, I got the scholarship 00:17:39.92\00:17:41.46 and the scholarship paid for everything. 00:17:41.49\00:17:43.39 It paid for my education, 00:17:43.43\00:17:44.76 it paid for me to go to grad school 00:17:44.79\00:17:46.76 and it gave me a monthly stipend. 00:17:46.80\00:17:48.60 Now a part of that 00:17:48.63\00:17:49.96 was I could choose my degree in grad school. 00:17:50.00\00:17:52.80 And that's how I choose oriental painting. 00:17:52.83\00:17:54.67 So I was able to learn the language 00:17:54.70\00:17:56.84 and also continue with my art interest 00:17:56.87\00:17:59.91 in learning more about oriental painting. 00:17:59.94\00:18:01.48 So as an artist, what was unique 00:18:01.51\00:18:05.81 about when you say oriental painting, 00:18:05.85\00:18:07.92 what's different about oriental painting? 00:18:07.95\00:18:10.35 To be very honest with you, 00:18:10.39\00:18:12.12 there's something that happened prior to me, 00:18:12.15\00:18:14.96 majoring in oriental painting. 00:18:14.99\00:18:16.36 Whenever I would look at an oriental painting, 00:18:16.39\00:18:18.73 there was something about the brushstrokes. 00:18:18.76\00:18:21.56 It would seem like a simple piece of artwork 00:18:21.60\00:18:24.10 for someone looking at an oriental painting. 00:18:24.13\00:18:25.70 They use a lot of nature, 00:18:25.73\00:18:27.30 a lot of pictures of mountains or paintings of say, 00:18:27.34\00:18:30.41 what looks like a leaf or a plant. 00:18:30.44\00:18:32.51 But there was something about the movement 00:18:32.54\00:18:34.28 within the paintings that really caught 00:18:34.31\00:18:35.64 my attention. 00:18:35.68\00:18:37.01 So when I got into the program, 00:18:37.05\00:18:38.85 I learned, okay, it's not just a brushstroke, 00:18:38.88\00:18:41.62 there were so many different things involved in it. 00:18:41.65\00:18:43.55 So that's the main thing that got my attention. 00:18:43.59\00:18:45.59 So they use different materials to paint with, 00:18:45.62\00:18:49.22 they use different types of brushes 00:18:49.26\00:18:50.73 and different things. 00:18:50.76\00:18:52.09 So that's interesting. 00:18:52.13\00:18:53.46 Yes. 00:18:53.50\00:18:54.83 So that's fascinating. So here you are 10 years. 00:18:54.86\00:18:56.73 Yes. 00:18:56.77\00:18:58.10 There, you finally decide to return to the United States. 00:18:58.13\00:19:02.27 And when we're talking about 00:19:02.30\00:19:04.71 the still small voice that heard, 00:19:04.74\00:19:06.34 that's 1 Kings 19:12, 00:19:06.37\00:19:08.64 when God spoke 00:19:08.68\00:19:11.18 in this still small voice to Elijah 00:19:11.21\00:19:13.58 to get in and we know that 00:19:13.62\00:19:15.85 that's the voice of the Holy Spirit. 00:19:15.88\00:19:17.85 Because when God's audible voice 00:19:17.89\00:19:20.56 is always like a thousand thunders, 00:19:20.59\00:19:23.86 it's magnificent. 00:19:23.89\00:19:26.33 But the still small voice of the Lord as you come back, 00:19:26.36\00:19:29.56 how did God lead when you return to the States? 00:19:29.60\00:19:33.03 So I had been there 10 years, 00:19:33.07\00:19:35.40 toward the last portion of my time in Korea. 00:19:35.44\00:19:38.71 So I taught thousands of students 00:19:38.74\00:19:40.88 during my time in Korea 00:19:40.91\00:19:42.24 as a missionary English teacher. 00:19:42.28\00:19:43.91 But we had a group of students, 00:19:43.95\00:19:45.38 they would go from level one to level six learning English 00:19:45.41\00:19:48.48 and then they'd also hit this plateau. 00:19:48.52\00:19:50.65 And so my boss at the time came to me and said, 00:19:50.69\00:19:53.66 "Tiff, we have this group of students 00:19:53.69\00:19:55.96 and they're struggling with the next level, 00:19:55.99\00:19:58.19 trying to get to the next level 00:19:58.23\00:19:59.56 and sound more like a native English speaker." 00:19:59.59\00:20:01.63 He said, "Would you mind developing a program for them?" 00:20:01.66\00:20:04.13 I said, "Sure." 00:20:04.17\00:20:05.50 I enjoyed teaching students, I enjoyed organizing things. 00:20:05.53\00:20:08.04 So I organized the program. 00:20:08.07\00:20:09.47 God has obviously given you a teaching gift. 00:20:09.50\00:20:13.04 Praise God. 00:20:13.07\00:20:14.41 And again, I realized that while living in Korea, 00:20:14.44\00:20:16.31 that I had a passion for teaching 00:20:16.34\00:20:18.31 and that it's something that, 00:20:18.35\00:20:19.68 yes, God gave me the ability to do, 00:20:19.71\00:20:21.25 but I really enjoy it. 00:20:21.28\00:20:22.98 So I developed this program and I had a group of students 00:20:23.02\00:20:25.85 that came to my class for a two-month period. 00:20:25.89\00:20:28.19 And what I was trying to do 00:20:28.22\00:20:29.56 was teach them how to give a speech. 00:20:29.59\00:20:31.33 Giving a speech, 00:20:31.36\00:20:32.69 even for a native English speaker is tricky. 00:20:32.73\00:20:34.56 Standing in front of people they're stage fright. 00:20:34.60\00:20:37.20 And these are students who are learning English 00:20:37.23\00:20:38.90 as a second language. 00:20:38.93\00:20:40.30 So I taught them how to give a speech. 00:20:40.34\00:20:42.44 And I actually used the principles 00:20:42.47\00:20:44.64 that we learned when we were in school, 00:20:44.67\00:20:46.91 high school and even college English classes. 00:20:46.94\00:20:49.11 And my favorite English teacher was actually in high school. 00:20:49.14\00:20:52.41 I went to Takoma Academy in Maryland. 00:20:52.45\00:20:54.28 Her name is Miss Kendalleria. 00:20:54.32\00:20:56.02 She's the best English teacher I've ever had. 00:20:56.05\00:20:58.32 And some of the principles 00:20:58.35\00:20:59.69 she taught us how to write a paper, 00:20:59.72\00:21:01.06 how to organize your thoughts. 00:21:01.09\00:21:02.66 I put those into part of the program 00:21:02.69\00:21:04.53 that I taught the students. 00:21:04.56\00:21:05.89 And the students went from 00:21:05.93\00:21:07.26 not being able to give a speech up front 00:21:07.30\00:21:09.13 for even a minute or two without being nervous 00:21:09.16\00:21:11.33 and stopping to at the end of a two-month period 00:21:11.37\00:21:13.87 being able to give a 10-minute speech, 00:21:13.90\00:21:15.80 with no notes up front with confidence, 00:21:15.84\00:21:18.44 something that even native English speakers struggle with. 00:21:18.47\00:21:21.44 And I realized, okay, this is something 00:21:21.48\00:21:23.08 that can help other students, 00:21:23.11\00:21:25.01 other English learners. 00:21:25.05\00:21:26.38 And my goal has always been to help people. 00:21:26.41\00:21:28.35 I want people to have more confidence in themselves. 00:21:28.38\00:21:31.82 So that led me to start a YouTube channel 00:21:31.85\00:21:34.59 while I was in Korea. 00:21:34.62\00:21:36.19 My YouTube channel is Speak English with Tiffani. 00:21:36.22\00:21:38.43 And the only goal was what I taught in class, 00:21:38.46\00:21:41.83 I wanted other Korean students to learn the same, 00:21:41.86\00:21:44.67 that's my only goal, was my only goal at the time. 00:21:44.70\00:21:47.24 So I what I taught in class, I created videos. 00:21:47.27\00:21:50.27 And again, I used my skills 00:21:50.31\00:21:52.71 from when I worked at NASA 00:21:52.74\00:21:54.84 to develop the visuals for the video. 00:21:54.88\00:21:57.91 So I put them up on YouTube. 00:21:57.95\00:22:00.18 But as you are familiar, YouTube is a global website. 00:22:00.22\00:22:05.89 So I started getting a lot of views. 00:22:05.92\00:22:08.69 And it was kind of confusing at the beginning, 00:22:08.72\00:22:10.73 because when I looked at the analytics, 00:22:10.76\00:22:12.76 they weren't Korean students. 00:22:12.79\00:22:14.16 There were students from Brazil, from China, 00:22:14.20\00:22:17.27 from Russia, that were watching the videos. 00:22:17.30\00:22:20.04 And I realized... That's fascinating. 00:22:20.07\00:22:21.70 I can help even more people. 00:22:21.74\00:22:24.04 So it led me to want to make more videos. 00:22:24.07\00:22:26.81 So again, my schedule was already very hectic. 00:22:26.84\00:22:31.01 I was teaching at that time, 00:22:31.05\00:22:32.68 I was still studying in my graduate program, 00:22:32.71\00:22:35.12 which was also very challenging. 00:22:35.15\00:22:37.22 The entire thing was in Korean. 00:22:37.25\00:22:38.89 And then there was this YouTube piece. 00:22:38.92\00:22:41.12 But I felt like I was helping people. 00:22:41.16\00:22:43.29 And I always went back to God sent Jesus to this earth 00:22:43.32\00:22:47.03 to help us to know more about Him. 00:22:47.06\00:22:48.60 Yes. 00:22:48.63\00:22:49.96 Let me be like Christ. I'm not a doctor. 00:22:50.00\00:22:51.77 I can't heal you physically, 00:22:51.80\00:22:53.34 but I can help you with English. 00:22:53.37\00:22:55.67 So I spent a lot of time. 00:22:55.70\00:22:57.04 Every week I posted a video without fail. 00:22:57.07\00:22:59.44 So coming back to your question 00:22:59.47\00:23:01.11 about when I came back to America, 00:23:01.14\00:23:02.61 I had two choices. 00:23:02.64\00:23:03.98 I said, "Okay God, I finished my graduate degree. 00:23:04.01\00:23:06.35 I have my degree in oriental painting. 00:23:06.38\00:23:08.52 There's also this YouTube channel. 00:23:08.55\00:23:10.25 So either you want me to come home 00:23:10.29\00:23:12.59 and be an art professor 00:23:12.62\00:23:14.26 or You want me to come home 00:23:14.29\00:23:15.62 and keep doing this YouTube channel. 00:23:15.66\00:23:17.89 My life is Yours." 00:23:17.93\00:23:20.26 And that was about it, I think, a week period 00:23:20.30\00:23:22.86 where I did the praying and fasting. 00:23:22.90\00:23:25.37 I said, "Okay God, by the end of this week, 00:23:25.40\00:23:27.37 please show me what You want me to do." 00:23:27.40\00:23:29.40 And again, I had gotten to this point in my life 00:23:29.44\00:23:31.67 where whatever God said, 00:23:31.71\00:23:34.28 whatever He led me to do, I would do it 00:23:34.31\00:23:36.51 because I've seen Him work in the past. 00:23:36.54\00:23:38.98 So at the end of that week, 00:23:39.01\00:23:41.58 I actually got a call 00:23:41.62\00:23:42.95 from a Korean television company 00:23:42.98\00:23:44.49 who sent me an email. 00:23:44.52\00:23:45.85 And they said, "Hi, Miss Tiffani, 00:23:45.89\00:23:47.46 we found your YouTube channel. 00:23:47.49\00:23:49.29 And we'd like to have a conversation with you." 00:23:49.32\00:23:51.49 And basically, that ended up being, 00:23:51.53\00:23:53.96 we signed the contract where they put my videos 00:23:54.00\00:23:56.16 on The Korean television channel. 00:23:56.20\00:23:57.53 Wow. 00:23:57.57\00:23:58.90 And I said, "God, You gave me the sign I needed. 00:23:58.93\00:24:01.04 So when I came back to America, I decided to move forth. 00:24:01.07\00:24:04.27 I said, "God here's the thing, 00:24:04.31\00:24:05.91 how are you going to use English 00:24:05.94\00:24:08.48 to help me spread Your Word?" 00:24:08.51\00:24:10.11 He said, "Don't worry." 00:24:10.15\00:24:11.48 Yeah. 00:24:11.51\00:24:12.85 "I got it." 00:24:12.88\00:24:14.22 Okay, I just have to let's rewind the clock 00:24:14.25\00:24:15.88 just a little bit. 00:24:15.92\00:24:17.72 God does not have any grandchildren. 00:24:17.75\00:24:20.99 So even if you have come from decades 00:24:21.02\00:24:25.03 in your family line where of Christians, 00:24:25.06\00:24:29.86 it had to be a time in your life 00:24:29.90\00:24:34.00 where it was more than your parent's religion. 00:24:34.04\00:24:36.54 The Seventh-day Adventist Christian faith, 00:24:36.57\00:24:39.34 it wasn't just something 00:24:39.37\00:24:40.71 that was being handed down to you as a cultural thing 00:24:40.74\00:24:43.95 because you obviously have a close personal relationship 00:24:43.98\00:24:47.68 with the Lord. 00:24:47.72\00:24:49.05 When did it become real for you? 00:24:49.08\00:24:53.25 I'm really glad you asked that question 00:24:53.29\00:24:54.86 because I feel like every Christian, 00:24:54.89\00:24:58.23 every Seventh-day Adventist Christian, 00:24:58.26\00:24:59.59 every Christian believer goes through this period 00:24:59.63\00:25:00.96 in their life. 00:25:01.00\00:25:02.33 Sure. 00:25:02.36\00:25:03.70 And I was a sophomore at Oakwood 00:25:03.73\00:25:06.10 when it happened to me. 00:25:06.13\00:25:07.47 I had attended we have, 00:25:07.50\00:25:08.84 you know, we had religion classes 00:25:08.87\00:25:10.21 and they were amazing. 00:25:10.24\00:25:11.57 We had great teachers. 00:25:11.61\00:25:12.94 But I remember sitting down one day in the dorm 00:25:12.97\00:25:15.34 I stayed in and I said, "God, here's the deal. 00:25:15.38\00:25:18.05 My parents love You. 00:25:18.08\00:25:20.32 I came from a household with full of love. 00:25:20.35\00:25:23.28 But I have to know for myself if this is real, 00:25:23.32\00:25:25.82 if what's in the Bible is real or not." 00:25:25.85\00:25:27.99 So I decided to get a commentary. 00:25:28.02\00:25:31.56 You know, the big commentaries 00:25:31.59\00:25:32.93 before we have iPads and everything. 00:25:32.96\00:25:34.30 Yeah. 00:25:34.33\00:25:35.66 The big commentary and I said, "Okay, I'm going to... 00:25:35.70\00:25:38.03 It's going to be me, God, the commentary and the Bible." 00:25:38.07\00:25:41.70 And I spent several months scouring the Bible, 00:25:41.74\00:25:45.81 looking up different things, 00:25:45.84\00:25:47.28 making sure I knew what I believed. 00:25:47.31\00:25:48.98 And by the end of that period, I said, I know what I believe. 00:25:49.01\00:25:52.01 Praise the Lord. 00:25:52.05\00:25:53.38 I know what I believe. 00:25:53.42\00:25:54.75 I mean, you know, because it's at that time, 00:25:54.78\00:25:57.95 we all, I mean, I wasn't quite as young as you were 00:25:57.99\00:26:01.36 when I would do that. 00:26:01.39\00:26:02.72 But my mother always told me one thing and I'm so thankful 00:26:02.76\00:26:05.89 because I didn't grow up as Seventh-day Adventist. 00:26:05.93\00:26:08.90 I grew up in a "New Testament Church." 00:26:08.93\00:26:12.07 Then I studied my way out of that, 00:26:12.10\00:26:15.30 went into a non-denominational arena. 00:26:15.34\00:26:18.54 But when God called me to ministry, man, I mean, 00:26:18.57\00:26:21.58 He locked me down several years, all I did. 00:26:21.61\00:26:24.71 I didn't even use a commentary. 00:26:24.75\00:26:26.58 I just studied the Bible. 00:26:26.61\00:26:29.32 But it when you do that, you become so sure. 00:26:29.35\00:26:33.59 And God's Word becomes so real to you. 00:26:33.62\00:26:36.99 And I've seen atheists who said, 00:26:37.03\00:26:39.26 "I'm going to prove you wrong." 00:26:39.29\00:26:40.63 And they pick up the Bible and they're studying 00:26:40.66\00:26:42.83 so that they can have an argument 00:26:42.86\00:26:44.77 and the Word is alive and active. 00:26:44.80\00:26:46.94 Amen. 00:26:46.97\00:26:48.30 And what happened 00:26:48.34\00:26:49.67 is, you have a real love 00:26:49.70\00:26:54.34 for the Word of God. 00:26:54.38\00:26:55.71 You've got this desire in your heart to share. 00:26:55.74\00:26:59.45 So you're online teaching English, 00:26:59.48\00:27:02.68 but how has God taken that and translated it 00:27:02.72\00:27:07.59 into getting the gospel to all the world? 00:27:07.62\00:27:11.09 So that is an interesting and a great question. 00:27:11.13\00:27:13.40 So again, there was a period I've been doing, 00:27:13.43\00:27:15.86 I've been online for I think, I started in 2018 in Korea, 00:27:15.90\00:27:19.67 but it really became a business in 2019. 00:27:19.70\00:27:21.20 Okay. 00:27:21.24\00:27:22.57 And throughout the entire time, 00:27:22.60\00:27:23.94 I had the same question in the back of my mind. 00:27:23.97\00:27:25.61 Lord, I'm not questioning You, but I'm just wondering, 00:27:25.64\00:27:27.98 when is the ministry side going to kick in? 00:27:28.01\00:27:30.38 And I started getting messages from my students. 00:27:30.41\00:27:34.62 They would always say, "Oh, we enjoyed the lesson, 00:27:34.65\00:27:36.62 we learned a lot." 00:27:36.65\00:27:37.99 But I started getting different messages. 00:27:38.02\00:27:40.16 Are you a Christian? 00:27:40.19\00:27:42.09 Do you love God? 00:27:42.12\00:27:43.46 And they were asking 00:27:43.49\00:27:44.83 as if they could see something in the video. 00:27:44.86\00:27:46.19 I was only teaching English. 00:27:46.23\00:27:47.86 I wasn't saying anything about God. 00:27:47.90\00:27:50.20 But I started to get these messages 00:27:50.23\00:27:51.73 on a regular basis. 00:27:51.77\00:27:53.60 And then someone said, "Listen teacher, 00:27:53.64\00:27:56.14 there are many great English teachers on YouTube. 00:27:56.17\00:27:59.04 But there's something about you that I can't put my finger on. 00:27:59.07\00:28:02.38 Do you believe in God?" 00:28:02.41\00:28:03.75 And so I realized that God was opening the door. 00:28:03.78\00:28:07.12 They started the conversation 00:28:07.15\00:28:08.65 because I have students again from all over the world, 00:28:08.68\00:28:11.29 Muslim, atheist, as you mentioned, 00:28:11.32\00:28:13.39 so I never wanted to put my views in my videos. 00:28:13.42\00:28:17.16 But the moment they opened the door, 00:28:17.19\00:28:19.53 at the end of each lesson, I tell a story. 00:28:19.56\00:28:21.86 And I sing a song, story time 00:28:21.90\00:28:24.83 and I go into a story about my life 00:28:24.87\00:28:26.84 and students love it. 00:28:26.87\00:28:28.24 So when they started asking questions, 00:28:28.27\00:28:29.64 I said, "Okay, God, they're asking questions." 00:28:29.67\00:28:31.64 He said, "Go through the door." 00:28:31.67\00:28:33.27 So I would start telling them about my life, 00:28:33.31\00:28:35.78 about how important God is to me. 00:28:35.81\00:28:38.55 And this is what's happening now. 00:28:38.58\00:28:40.12 So I'm open and free to talk about God in my videos 00:28:40.15\00:28:43.42 without worrying about. 00:28:43.45\00:28:44.79 Praise the Lord. 00:28:44.82\00:28:46.15 Oh, no, you're teaching English. 00:28:46.19\00:28:47.52 Why are you talking about God? 00:28:47.56\00:28:48.89 I never get negative comments. 00:28:48.92\00:28:50.26 Even my Muslim students, they're like, "Teacher, 00:28:50.29\00:28:52.69 we know that you don't believe in Allah 00:28:52.73\00:28:54.53 or you know, but we can see His hand over your life." 00:28:54.56\00:28:57.23 But they'll make comments like that. 00:28:57.27\00:28:58.60 But again, it's being there and talking about God 00:28:58.63\00:29:02.24 and they're seeing something different. 00:29:02.27\00:29:03.81 And we've had so many conversations, 00:29:03.84\00:29:06.31 again, with students that don't believe in God 00:29:06.34\00:29:07.98 and they're like, 00:29:08.01\00:29:09.34 "I don't really believe in God, per Se, 00:29:09.38\00:29:10.85 but I like you and I like what you're saying." 00:29:10.88\00:29:12.85 So it's opened the door for me 00:29:12.88\00:29:14.95 to start talking about God more. 00:29:14.98\00:29:17.22 And some students have even joined a class that I teach to, 00:29:17.25\00:29:20.19 so I know we'll get into that in a few moments. 00:29:20.22\00:29:21.56 Yes, so that's my next question. 00:29:21.59\00:29:23.22 Because now her ministry, I mean, 00:29:23.26\00:29:26.09 she still has her online business teaching English, 00:29:26.13\00:29:29.53 but her ministry she started 00:29:29.56\00:29:32.77 a Sabbath School live program every Sabbath. 00:29:32.80\00:29:37.04 And you started this the beginning of 2020. 00:29:37.07\00:29:40.64 So tell us how God led you into that? 00:29:40.68\00:29:44.15 And I know you're attracting people 00:29:44.18\00:29:45.95 from around the world. 00:29:45.98\00:29:47.65 So when I came back from South Korea and I said, 00:29:47.68\00:29:51.25 "Okay, God, You want me to do the English 00:29:51.29\00:29:53.32 you know, English business," 00:29:53.36\00:29:55.42 but I was still longing for the Bible study portion. 00:29:55.46\00:30:00.06 I was teaching the Bible in Korea 00:30:00.10\00:30:01.83 almost every day to students. 00:30:01.86\00:30:04.07 And that piece was completely gone 00:30:04.10\00:30:06.67 because now I was back home. 00:30:06.70\00:30:08.20 And when I was in Korea, I was, there was, 00:30:08.24\00:30:11.41 we didn't have the bubble like the Christian bubble 00:30:11.44\00:30:14.88 or Seventh-day Adventist Christian bubble. 00:30:14.91\00:30:16.64 I was surrounded by people that didn't even believe 00:30:16.68\00:30:19.01 there was a God. 00:30:19.05\00:30:20.38 So when I came back home, 00:30:20.42\00:30:21.75 it was kind of, I was surrounded by other 00:30:21.78\00:30:23.82 Seventh-day Adventist Christians. 00:30:23.85\00:30:25.19 So I was like, "Lord, where is my field? 00:30:25.22\00:30:27.86 Where am I supposed to do this Bible study?" 00:30:27.89\00:30:30.49 And God led me to start class at my church, 00:30:30.53\00:30:34.60 a Bible study class and initially 00:30:34.63\00:30:36.40 was just going to be studying different topics, 00:30:36.43\00:30:38.03 but it ended up being a Sabbath school class. 00:30:38.07\00:30:40.30 And I wanted to start the Sabbath school class, 00:30:40.34\00:30:42.50 this is prior to 2020. 00:30:42.54\00:30:44.21 Because I heard so many people saying 00:30:44.24\00:30:48.28 that those in their 30s, those in their 40s 00:30:48.31\00:30:52.28 really didn't have a desire to study the Word of God 00:30:52.31\00:30:55.15 or really didn't have a desire to study 00:30:55.18\00:30:56.79 the Sabbath School lesson that we have. 00:30:56.82\00:30:59.32 And I didn't believe that was true. 00:30:59.35\00:31:01.56 I just believed 00:31:01.59\00:31:02.92 that what was needed wasn't there just yet. 00:31:02.96\00:31:08.03 So I said, okay, let me start a class 00:31:08.06\00:31:09.83 and do it specifically for that group. 00:31:09.86\00:31:13.10 I started at my church, pastor was very supportive. 00:31:13.13\00:31:15.44 And the time also was an issue. 00:31:15.47\00:31:18.17 Because when you have those in their 30s and 40s, 00:31:18.21\00:31:20.64 they have young families. 00:31:20.68\00:31:22.01 So it's hard sometimes to come to church early. 00:31:22.04\00:31:23.58 I said, but God can still do big things. 00:31:23.61\00:31:25.95 So I started the class at my church 00:31:25.98\00:31:27.62 and it was a blessing. 00:31:27.65\00:31:28.98 We had a wonderful time 00:31:29.02\00:31:30.35 studying the Sabbath School lesson. 00:31:30.39\00:31:31.72 Prior to this, I liked Sabbath School. 00:31:31.75\00:31:33.32 So I would go on my own, 00:31:33.36\00:31:34.69 but I wanted to start this class 00:31:34.72\00:31:36.22 and we would enjoy our time together. 00:31:36.26\00:31:38.73 And then, 2020 the pandemic of 2020 hit. 00:31:38.76\00:31:44.03 And as you know, church doors closed. 00:31:44.07\00:31:47.00 So all that we had built up having class together 00:31:47.04\00:31:50.17 on Sabbath morning, 00:31:50.21\00:31:51.54 studying the Sabbath School lesson, 00:31:51.57\00:31:52.91 a time studying different topics in the Bible, 00:31:52.94\00:31:55.04 it went away. 00:31:55.08\00:31:56.41 And again, I was back at square one. 00:31:56.44\00:31:59.78 When I came back from South Korea, 00:31:59.81\00:32:01.15 I missed studying the Bible with fellow believers, 00:32:01.18\00:32:04.42 I missed diving into God's Word. 00:32:04.45\00:32:07.49 I said, "God, what do You want me to do now?" 00:32:07.52\00:32:09.79 I can't just sit down. 00:32:09.82\00:32:11.16 I can't just not do anything. 00:32:11.19\00:32:13.29 And... Wait a minute. 00:32:13.33\00:32:14.66 Yes. 00:32:14.70\00:32:16.03 I'm going to hit the pause button 00:32:16.06\00:32:17.40 because this is going to be our cliffhanger. 00:32:17.43\00:32:18.77 We're coming in just a second. 00:32:18.80\00:32:21.34 I can't help but ask this. 00:32:21.37\00:32:22.90 Sure. 00:32:22.94\00:32:24.27 You're saying 30 and 40-year olds 00:32:24.31\00:32:26.11 whose lives were so busy 00:32:26.14\00:32:28.21 that you were hearing they didn't have a desire 00:32:28.24\00:32:32.05 and a lot of people don't know they've got the desire 00:32:32.08\00:32:34.78 because something's wrong. 00:32:34.82\00:32:36.75 What did you do differently 00:32:36.79\00:32:38.72 to get those people involved in your class to where, 00:32:38.75\00:32:42.42 I mean, how do you reach somebody 00:32:42.46\00:32:45.53 that doesn't know they've got a desire? 00:32:45.56\00:32:48.36 So I think what happened, to be honest with you, 00:32:48.40\00:32:53.23 I trusted the power of God's Word. 00:32:53.27\00:32:55.04 I didn't trust in myself, 00:32:55.07\00:32:56.40 I trusted in the power of God's Word. 00:32:56.44\00:32:57.81 This is His power. 00:32:57.84\00:32:59.17 The gospel is His power and His glory. 00:32:59.21\00:33:01.78 Being in that age group as well, 00:33:01.81\00:33:03.85 I knew that it wasn't a lack of desire. 00:33:03.88\00:33:07.15 It was just that the way maybe things were presented. 00:33:07.18\00:33:11.82 I know that one thing that I've heard 00:33:11.85\00:33:13.69 is that sometimes it's hard to connect the Bible 00:33:13.72\00:33:16.83 with my life right now. 00:33:16.86\00:33:18.19 Okay. 00:33:18.23\00:33:19.56 So I think, that was one of the main things. 00:33:19.59\00:33:20.93 Just making it relevant. 00:33:20.96\00:33:22.30 Making it relevant. 00:33:22.33\00:33:23.67 All right. 00:33:23.70\00:33:25.03 And enjoyable. 00:33:25.07\00:33:26.40 I think something has happened 00:33:26.43\00:33:27.77 where studying the Bible sometimes turns into this, 00:33:27.80\00:33:31.44 let's all be solemn. 00:33:31.47\00:33:33.04 Let's be quiet as and there are moments 00:33:33.07\00:33:36.11 when that is necessary. 00:33:36.14\00:33:37.65 But it's dry. 00:33:37.68\00:33:39.01 Let's put it that way. 00:33:39.05\00:33:40.38 Because you know and this is the point is that, 00:33:40.42\00:33:43.28 please listen to what I'm saying. 00:33:43.32\00:33:44.79 If you are a Christian 00:33:44.82\00:33:46.69 and all you're doing is studying the Bible to answer 00:33:46.72\00:33:49.59 the Sabbath School panel quite 00:33:49.62\00:33:51.09 or the Sabbath School questions 00:33:51.13\00:33:52.86 or to answer your Sunday School questions. 00:33:52.89\00:33:55.50 If that's the only reason, 00:33:55.53\00:33:56.90 if you're just going through the Bible, 00:33:56.93\00:33:59.43 to find an answer to a question, 00:33:59.47\00:34:02.04 it isn't going to feed your soul. 00:34:02.07\00:34:04.57 But when you're looking at the Bible 00:34:04.61\00:34:07.08 and understanding this is God's Word does, 00:34:07.11\00:34:10.35 these are God's promises and you are applying them, 00:34:10.38\00:34:13.95 you are making it relevant. 00:34:13.98\00:34:15.98 All of a sudden, 00:34:16.02\00:34:17.79 the study of God's Word gets truly exciting. 00:34:17.82\00:34:21.79 So that's what you're doing. 00:34:21.82\00:34:24.03 You've got a class that is flourishing. 00:34:24.06\00:34:27.06 The thing here is COVID. 00:34:27.10\00:34:29.86 How did that... What happened when COVID came? 00:34:29.90\00:34:33.40 So again, when COVID hit again, 00:34:33.44\00:34:34.84 it threw a monkey wrench into everything. 00:34:34.87\00:34:38.04 Class stopped. 00:34:38.07\00:34:39.41 So I still have students, 00:34:39.44\00:34:41.64 church members, friends and family 00:34:41.68\00:34:43.35 that are like "Tiffani, what are we going to do? 00:34:43.38\00:34:45.35 We you know, we missed the class." 00:34:45.38\00:34:47.42 So I prayed about it. 00:34:47.45\00:34:49.25 And I said, "God, what do You want me to do?" 00:34:49.28\00:34:50.92 It's not just about teaching it to others. 00:34:50.95\00:34:52.59 When you teach you also are blessed yourself 00:34:52.62\00:34:54.92 because you have to learn as well. 00:34:54.96\00:34:56.76 So I missed it too. 00:34:56.79\00:34:58.23 And God said, "Okay." 00:34:58.26\00:34:59.59 Again, God kind of sat me down in that still small voice. 00:34:59.63\00:35:02.40 He said, "Okay, Tiffani, 00:35:02.43\00:35:03.77 what do you do on a regular basis 00:35:03.80\00:35:05.30 for your students that you're teaching English." 00:35:05.33\00:35:07.80 And I had a whole production, had camera lighting, 00:35:07.84\00:35:12.34 everything needed in my home studio 00:35:12.37\00:35:14.98 because I did it on a regular basis 00:35:15.01\00:35:16.51 for my English students 00:35:16.54\00:35:17.88 for my YouTube channel and for my academy. 00:35:17.91\00:35:20.08 He said, "I need you to do the same thing for Me. 00:35:20.12\00:35:22.72 The same effort you're giving to teach English, 00:35:22.75\00:35:25.22 I need you to take that and give it 00:35:25.25\00:35:27.29 and do something for Me." 00:35:27.32\00:35:28.76 So I said, "Okay, God, 00:35:28.79\00:35:30.76 I give 110% for my English students. 00:35:30.79\00:35:33.16 I'll do the same for You." 00:35:33.19\00:35:34.53 And so I used the talents or skills 00:35:34.56\00:35:36.46 that God had blessed me with teaching English 00:35:36.50\00:35:38.63 and I switched it over and said, 00:35:38.67\00:35:40.00 It's time to go online and teach the Sabbath School. 00:35:40.04\00:35:42.04 Okay, I think is this a good time, 00:35:42.07\00:35:44.21 we've got a few little video clips because what... 00:35:44.24\00:35:48.08 Here she's got this teaching gift 00:35:48.11\00:35:50.31 that God has just put inside of her. 00:35:50.35\00:35:53.98 So she goes through all this preparation. 00:35:54.02\00:35:57.45 But then because of her art gift, 00:35:57.49\00:36:00.12 she really is creating. 00:36:00.16\00:36:03.79 I mean, she's got an enthusiastic open, 00:36:03.83\00:36:06.33 but then she's creating some great visuals 00:36:06.36\00:36:10.23 that will attract people. 00:36:10.27\00:36:11.87 So let's look at this one. 00:36:11.90\00:36:13.60 You are flipping through a notebook here, explain. 00:36:13.64\00:36:16.24 I don't think there's any recording or audio. 00:36:16.27\00:36:19.94 So tell us what's going on as you prepare? 00:36:19.97\00:36:21.78 Sure. 00:36:21.81\00:36:23.14 So I'll explain. 00:36:23.18\00:36:24.51 So this is a video of me 00:36:24.55\00:36:25.88 flipping through a sketchbook I have. 00:36:25.91\00:36:27.25 Now I'm very meticulous. 00:36:27.28\00:36:29.75 So what I do is I study the Sabbath School lesson. 00:36:29.78\00:36:32.95 And then I take notes. 00:36:32.99\00:36:34.49 And then I actually draw out every visual 00:36:34.52\00:36:37.19 I'm going to create for the class. 00:36:37.23\00:36:39.13 So what you're seeing right now, 00:36:39.16\00:36:40.60 this is one of my notebooks. 00:36:40.63\00:36:42.13 I've been doing this again, 00:36:42.16\00:36:43.50 since the pandemic of 2020 started. 00:36:43.53\00:36:45.23 So there are tons of little notebooks and little drawing. 00:36:45.27\00:36:48.70 So each week I draw in the notebook, laying it out. 00:36:48.74\00:36:51.44 And again, it's because I promised God, 00:36:51.47\00:36:53.51 the same effort I give to my students 00:36:53.54\00:36:55.74 to teach English, I'll give to Your Word, 00:36:55.78\00:36:58.31 to teaching Your Word. 00:36:58.35\00:36:59.68 So this is a part of the process, 00:36:59.71\00:37:01.22 drawing out every visual, 00:37:01.25\00:37:03.02 then translating that to a computer 00:37:03.05\00:37:05.25 and then moving forward and teaching the class. 00:37:05.29\00:37:06.92 So that's what you just saw on the screen, 00:37:06.96\00:37:09.16 the notebook I used. 00:37:09.19\00:37:10.79 And then I have to say this, you're not a shy person. 00:37:10.83\00:37:14.76 No. 00:37:14.80\00:37:16.13 You know, the word enthusiasm. 00:37:16.16\00:37:18.80 Think of it this way, enthu, God in us. 00:37:18.83\00:37:23.07 And then the I-A-S-M, enthusiasm is God in us. 00:37:23.10\00:37:28.08 And I think of it as I am sold myself. 00:37:28.11\00:37:31.78 So when you're, when you are in love with God. 00:37:31.81\00:37:36.18 I love the way you open up your program 00:37:36.22\00:37:40.56 because her goal is to make everyone feel welcome, 00:37:40.59\00:37:46.16 like they're around the program. 00:37:46.19\00:37:48.46 But see if you think this is an enthusiastic open. 00:37:48.50\00:37:52.13 Good morning and Happy Sabbath family. 00:37:52.17\00:37:55.77 I am Tiffani Claiborne. 00:37:55.80\00:37:57.14 And I love studying the Word of God 00:37:57.17\00:38:00.51 with God's people. 00:38:00.54\00:38:02.88 We are back, family. 00:38:02.91\00:38:04.51 We had a two-week break. 00:38:04.55\00:38:05.88 As you can see, I have moved to a new apartment 00:38:05.91\00:38:09.18 and have a new studio. 00:38:09.22\00:38:10.72 And I am excited to jump into God's Word 00:38:10.75\00:38:14.59 one more time together with you. 00:38:14.62\00:38:17.36 Now, family, you all know what we do each and every time 00:38:17.39\00:38:21.26 we come together. 00:38:21.30\00:38:22.63 We come in, we say Happy Sabbath 00:38:22.66\00:38:24.40 and we let each other know our testimonies. 00:38:24.43\00:38:27.60 Let us know how good God has been to you. 00:38:27.64\00:38:31.54 I love it. 00:38:31.57\00:38:32.91 I mean, nobody's expecting a dry lesson here. 00:38:32.94\00:38:36.91 Not at all. 00:38:36.95\00:38:38.28 So explain how your Sabbath School kind of goes? 00:38:38.31\00:38:41.12 So when I started the Sabbath School class, 00:38:41.15\00:38:43.52 I was praying and I remembered, 00:38:43.55\00:38:45.05 okay God, the biggest issue, 00:38:45.09\00:38:46.62 the biggest challenge with the pandemic of 2020 00:38:46.65\00:38:49.89 was that everyone felt isolated. 00:38:49.92\00:38:52.03 Everyone was separate. 00:38:52.06\00:38:53.40 You're at home, you can't be around each other at church. 00:38:53.43\00:38:56.00 So I said, "Okay God, the main thing 00:38:56.03\00:38:57.57 is to make it feel interactive, 00:38:57.60\00:38:59.83 to make us feel like we are together 00:38:59.87\00:39:02.04 even though we are physically apart." 00:39:02.07\00:39:04.47 So again, I reverted back 00:39:04.51\00:39:06.34 to what I do for my English students, 00:39:06.37\00:39:07.84 when I do live English classes. 00:39:07.88\00:39:09.68 I include their comments as much as possible. 00:39:09.71\00:39:12.48 So the structure of the classes, 00:39:12.51\00:39:13.98 it starts off again, 00:39:14.02\00:39:15.35 with the opening that we just watched. 00:39:15.38\00:39:17.19 I ask for testimonies. 00:39:17.22\00:39:18.55 Again, I want everyone to feel like 00:39:18.59\00:39:20.32 you are what makes this class special. 00:39:20.36\00:39:22.29 It's not about Tiffani. 00:39:22.32\00:39:23.66 Yes, I'm the one on the camera, but it's about you. 00:39:23.69\00:39:26.36 So I try to speak to the individuals 00:39:26.39\00:39:28.26 looking at them as much as possible in the camera. 00:39:28.30\00:39:31.13 And then we start off with testimonies, 00:39:31.17\00:39:32.50 then we move immediately 00:39:32.53\00:39:34.44 to a thought-provoking question. 00:39:34.47\00:39:36.87 And this again goes back to the idea 00:39:36.91\00:39:39.11 that your thoughts matter. 00:39:39.14\00:39:41.48 Your ideas are important 00:39:41.51\00:39:43.21 and I connected with the lesson. 00:39:43.24\00:39:46.48 So it's a lot of prayer that goes into the week 00:39:46.51\00:39:48.78 before I teach a class. 00:39:48.82\00:39:50.15 A lot of prayer, asking the Holy Spirit 00:39:50.19\00:39:51.79 to please lead and guide me 00:39:51.82\00:39:53.25 what questions can be connected to the lesson, 00:39:53.29\00:39:55.92 so I ask real life questions. 00:39:55.96\00:39:57.66 For example, we were talking about, 00:39:57.69\00:40:00.40 a few months back, one of my favorite lessons. 00:40:00.43\00:40:03.37 The Sabbath School lesson was talking about 00:40:03.40\00:40:04.80 I think it was Elijah. 00:40:04.83\00:40:06.20 And he was running away from Jezebel. 00:40:06.23\00:40:08.04 And there was this period 00:40:08.07\00:40:09.50 he was going through where he said, 00:40:09.54\00:40:11.04 "God, please just let me die." 00:40:11.07\00:40:12.61 Yeah. 00:40:12.64\00:40:13.98 "I'm done." 00:40:14.01\00:40:15.34 The reality is... 00:40:15.38\00:40:16.71 And this was after he had all 00:40:16.75\00:40:18.08 that made you a success on the mountain 00:40:18.11\00:40:20.35 where he calls fire down, 00:40:20.38\00:40:22.42 and all the prophets of Baal were killed. 00:40:22.45\00:40:24.79 Exactly. 00:40:24.82\00:40:26.15 So you'd think he'd be on a spiritual high 00:40:26.19\00:40:27.92 and here he is depressed. 00:40:27.96\00:40:29.29 Spiritual high. 00:40:29.32\00:40:30.66 The thing is that situation, that story showed me, 00:40:30.69\00:40:33.90 he was depressed. 00:40:33.93\00:40:35.26 Yeah. 00:40:35.30\00:40:36.63 And depression is a big issue right now mental health issue. 00:40:36.67\00:40:38.90 So I said, "God, how can we connect this lesson 00:40:38.93\00:40:41.50 with depression and mental health issues?" 00:40:41.54\00:40:43.14 And again, these are the things 00:40:43.17\00:40:44.51 that the Holy Spirit is taking me through. 00:40:44.54\00:40:46.11 So I asked a question, 00:40:46.14\00:40:47.48 what do people normally do when they're depressed? 00:40:47.51\00:40:49.68 Or things like that 00:40:49.71\00:40:51.05 connect the audience immediately with the topic 00:40:51.08\00:40:53.48 and then we go to look at the story of Elijah. 00:40:53.52\00:40:55.88 And it's able to show us, wait a minute, 00:40:55.92\00:40:58.22 God even cares when someone's going through depression. 00:40:58.25\00:41:00.39 And we see how God send the angel two times. 00:41:00.42\00:41:03.59 First time I understand, 00:41:03.63\00:41:05.33 I realize you're not feeling good. 00:41:05.36\00:41:07.10 I acknowledged that you are depressed, 00:41:07.13\00:41:08.76 take this food and take your rest. 00:41:08.80\00:41:11.07 Then he comes back the second time. 00:41:11.10\00:41:12.80 "Okay, I need you to get up. 00:41:12.83\00:41:14.20 I understand you were feeling down, 00:41:14.24\00:41:16.04 but I need you to move and work for me." 00:41:16.07\00:41:17.84 So we were able to see that God acknowledges 00:41:17.87\00:41:19.97 when you are depressed, but He also says, "Okay, 00:41:20.01\00:41:22.41 My child, I love you, I'm comforting you, 00:41:22.44\00:41:24.51 I need you to get up and move for Me." 00:41:24.55\00:41:27.08 So things like that, 00:41:27.12\00:41:28.45 making the Bible real right now in your life. 00:41:28.48\00:41:32.45 And that's kind of how the class goes 00:41:32.49\00:41:34.59 throughout the entire lesson. 00:41:34.62\00:41:35.96 So there's constant questions back and forth. 00:41:35.99\00:41:39.16 We have a lot of fun. 00:41:39.19\00:41:40.53 We laugh. 00:41:40.56\00:41:42.03 There are times people cry, we cry together. 00:41:42.06\00:41:43.97 And again, 00:41:44.00\00:41:45.77 I want people to feel like their words matter. 00:41:45.80\00:41:48.17 So every comment, it's a lot of, you know, moving parts. 00:41:48.20\00:41:52.61 Every comment, I put it on the screen. 00:41:52.64\00:41:54.61 I want people to feel like it's about you. 00:41:54.64\00:41:56.81 It's not just about my thoughts. 00:41:56.85\00:41:58.21 And what, we're not going to show you the comments 00:41:58.25\00:42:01.32 on the screen because they have the tie. 00:42:01.35\00:42:04.85 I mean, the name of the person who's making the comments, 00:42:04.89\00:42:08.36 but we want to give you just another little sample. 00:42:08.39\00:42:10.99 Here's Tiffani reading the Bible. 00:42:11.03\00:42:14.60 What do we need to do to make sure Jesus comes back? 00:42:14.63\00:42:17.67 But I want us to jump into this verse 00:42:17.70\00:42:19.03 before we get into the three angels' messages. 00:42:19.07\00:42:21.40 Matthew 24:14, 00:42:21.44\00:42:24.24 we're going to read it one more time, family. 00:42:24.27\00:42:26.84 It says, "And this gospel, this gospel of the kingdom 00:42:26.88\00:42:32.15 shall be preached in all the world 00:42:32.18\00:42:34.78 as a witness for a witness unto all nations..." 00:42:34.82\00:42:37.79 And then we'll be able to see our loved ones 00:42:37.82\00:42:41.19 that have passed away. 00:42:41.22\00:42:42.56 And then we'll be able to see our Savior Jesus face to face. 00:42:42.59\00:42:46.26 And then we'll stop experiencing 00:42:46.29\00:42:48.63 pain, heartache, challenges, bills. 00:42:48.66\00:42:52.20 When this message is preached the entire world, 00:42:52.23\00:42:56.27 the end will come and Jesus will return. 00:42:56.30\00:42:59.81 Family, we have the key. 00:42:59.84\00:43:01.88 God says, "Preach this Word 00:43:01.91\00:43:05.01 and I will send My Son again." 00:43:05.05\00:43:10.22 You know, you may be wondering 00:43:10.25\00:43:12.09 how can I get on her Sabbath School class? 00:43:12.12\00:43:16.62 If you just go to Facebook.com 00:43:16.66\00:43:20.63 and then a forward slash and her name Tiffani Claiborne. 00:43:20.66\00:43:25.17 You can see what she's doing. 00:43:25.20\00:43:28.47 And you know what's so exciting to me 00:43:28.50\00:43:31.37 is that you with your art gift, 00:43:31.41\00:43:35.54 you are making this visually appealing. 00:43:35.58\00:43:39.51 Tell us about how you develop those? 00:43:39.55\00:43:42.98 So with the visuals, it goes back to a promise 00:43:43.02\00:43:45.79 I made that made to God. 00:43:45.82\00:43:47.29 The same effort I give my students 00:43:47.32\00:43:49.39 to teach them English is the same effort 00:43:49.42\00:43:51.03 I'll give to God. 00:43:51.06\00:43:52.39 But how many visual program do you have? 00:43:52.43\00:43:56.16 As far as the number that I produced for them. 00:43:56.20\00:43:57.57 Yeah. 00:43:57.60\00:43:58.93 So I'll be honest with you. 00:43:58.97\00:44:00.30 My business keeps me quite busy. 00:44:00.34\00:44:01.97 So to create the visuals, again, throughout the week, 00:44:02.00\00:44:05.21 I'm drawing and sketching them out 00:44:05.24\00:44:06.84 and studying the lesson. 00:44:06.88\00:44:08.21 But I get up usually on Sabbath morning 00:44:08.24\00:44:09.94 at about 4 am. 00:44:09.98\00:44:11.31 And from 4 am to about, 00:44:11.35\00:44:13.72 the class starts at 9:45 am, Eastern Standard Time. 00:44:13.75\00:44:17.02 So about 4 am to usually 8:30 am or 9 am, 00:44:17.05\00:44:21.26 I'm designing and creating the presentations 00:44:21.29\00:44:23.02 on my computers 00:44:23.06\00:44:24.39 because I can't do it during the week. 00:44:24.43\00:44:25.76 So I do it Sabbath morning, 00:44:25.79\00:44:27.13 I create the layout and the presentation. 00:44:27.16\00:44:29.33 Sister, that's dedication. 00:44:29.36\00:44:31.77 And I think it goes back to, 00:44:31.80\00:44:33.13 you know, looking at all that God has done for me. 00:44:33.17\00:44:36.27 Yeah. 00:44:36.30\00:44:37.64 And I'm like God, you know, 00:44:37.67\00:44:39.01 if I can give 110% for my English students, 00:44:39.04\00:44:41.51 I can do this for you. 00:44:41.54\00:44:42.88 And I know the power of visuals to keep people engaged, 00:44:42.91\00:44:47.58 changing the visuals, whether it be the comments 00:44:47.62\00:44:49.98 or going back and forth. 00:44:50.02\00:44:51.35 So, yes, I try to make them visually appealing the colors, 00:44:51.39\00:44:53.56 again, going back to my time at NASA, 00:44:53.59\00:44:56.06 the practice I got there with the web development 00:44:56.09\00:44:58.13 and web design and then just my natural affinity for art, 00:44:58.16\00:45:01.53 it helps to make the visuals look nice, so. 00:45:01.56\00:45:04.63 All right, so tell us some of the results 00:45:04.67\00:45:08.07 already of what God is, how He's using. 00:45:08.10\00:45:11.47 And once again, you just go to 00:45:11.51\00:45:13.27 Facebook.com/TiffaniClaiborne. 00:45:13.31\00:45:17.98 So what's God doing with this Sabbath School class? 00:45:18.01\00:45:21.52 God has been truly awesome. 00:45:21.55\00:45:23.15 So I've gotten so many private messages. 00:45:23.18\00:45:26.52 I've gotten messages not from the 30 or 40 age group. 00:45:26.55\00:45:31.66 I've gotten message from people that... 00:45:31.69\00:45:33.60 One lady that really sticks out in my mind. 00:45:33.63\00:45:35.83 She was in her late 60s, if not early 70s. 00:45:35.86\00:45:39.83 And she said, "Tiffani, 00:45:39.87\00:45:41.20 my daughter told me about your program." 00:45:41.24\00:45:43.17 I said, "Praise God, I'm so glad you joined us." 00:45:43.20\00:45:45.07 I want to make everyone feel they're a part of our family. 00:45:45.11\00:45:47.54 You are only a guest one time, 00:45:47.58\00:45:48.91 after that you're automatically a part of the family. 00:45:48.94\00:45:51.28 She said, "But I need you to understand something." 00:45:51.31\00:45:53.08 She said "I've been 00:45:53.11\00:45:54.45 a Seventh-day Adventist Christian my entire life. 00:45:54.48\00:45:56.45 Never have I studied the Bible in such depth 00:45:56.48\00:45:59.72 until I came to your class." 00:45:59.75\00:46:01.09 Praise God. 00:46:01.12\00:46:02.46 And it just reminded me, God, this is all about You. 00:46:02.49\00:46:05.06 Amen. 00:46:05.09\00:46:06.43 So that was one blessing. 00:46:06.46\00:46:07.80 Then I've had a lot of my friends. 00:46:07.83\00:46:10.30 I've had a couple of people tell me that, 00:46:10.33\00:46:12.27 prior to this, they had stopped really going to church. 00:46:12.30\00:46:15.04 They had stopped studying the Sabbath School lesson. 00:46:15.07\00:46:17.01 They really weren't in tune with God. 00:46:17.04\00:46:19.07 And they said, "But there's something about 00:46:19.11\00:46:20.48 coming to the class on Sabbath morning. 00:46:20.51\00:46:22.88 And feeling like I'm a part and I'm learning so much." 00:46:22.91\00:46:24.98 So people have told me that 00:46:25.01\00:46:27.02 it's reignited their love for God's Word. 00:46:27.05\00:46:30.85 And I also have a student, he's a Muslim. 00:46:30.89\00:46:34.22 So a lot of my students have actually joined the class 00:46:34.26\00:46:36.32 and I have a few students 00:46:36.36\00:46:37.69 that aren't Seventh-day Adventists. 00:46:37.73\00:46:39.06 When you say your students, 00:46:39.09\00:46:40.43 you're talking about your business, 00:46:40.46\00:46:41.80 your English class? 00:46:41.83\00:46:43.16 Yes. 00:46:43.20\00:46:44.53 Students are joining now the Sabbath School class. 00:46:44.57\00:46:45.90 Yes. 00:46:45.93\00:46:47.27 So my English students have started to join. 00:46:47.30\00:46:48.64 And again, they're from around the world. 00:46:48.67\00:46:50.67 One of my students, he is Muslim. 00:46:50.71\00:46:52.87 And he's joined quite a few times 00:46:52.91\00:46:55.34 and he'll message me privately and say, "Tiff, 00:46:55.38\00:46:58.05 you know, this is a really deep Bible class." 00:46:58.08\00:47:00.85 And all God needs is for us to plant a seed. 00:47:00.88\00:47:03.45 It's not my job to convert. 00:47:03.49\00:47:05.55 But when those seeds are planted and I'm saying, 00:47:05.59\00:47:07.42 okay, God, now it's Your turn, You do the rest. 00:47:07.46\00:47:09.79 So God has really been blessing. 00:47:09.82\00:47:11.66 And there have been many other testimonies, 00:47:11.69\00:47:13.16 but God has really been good. 00:47:13.19\00:47:15.03 All right, so here's my question to you. 00:47:15.06\00:47:20.30 I know God's going to have you continue this for the future. 00:47:20.34\00:47:23.47 You've obviously got a love for it. 00:47:23.51\00:47:25.37 You've got, you are sold on the idea of the value 00:47:25.41\00:47:30.71 in our lives of God's work. 00:47:30.75\00:47:33.38 How has doing this has an impact in your life 00:47:33.42\00:47:38.09 other than getting up at 4 o'clock 00:47:38.12\00:47:39.69 on Sabbath morning and working that long? 00:47:39.72\00:47:43.63 How is God changing you as the Christian? 00:47:43.66\00:47:48.90 Because you said something and I believe this. 00:47:48.93\00:47:52.13 We learn to teach, but you teach to learn. 00:47:52.17\00:47:57.21 You know, you can, I can do a deep Bible study 00:47:57.24\00:48:01.08 and just come and awake all. 00:48:01.11\00:48:02.74 Oh, Lord, that was so wonderful. 00:48:02.78\00:48:05.35 If I don't turn around and teach it, six months later, 00:48:05.38\00:48:08.78 I'm going through the same thing going, 00:48:08.82\00:48:10.42 oh, Lord, I forgot, You taught me that. 00:48:10.45\00:48:14.89 So it's like, when God teaches us something, 00:48:14.92\00:48:18.63 if we turn around, teach it, it really gets anchored. 00:48:18.66\00:48:23.97 It really gets seeded, I should say. 00:48:24.00\00:48:26.94 How's God changing you through this? 00:48:26.97\00:48:29.50 So three things. 00:48:29.54\00:48:31.01 First, my faith in God has increased exponentially, 00:48:31.04\00:48:36.68 seeing how the Holy Spirit leads 00:48:36.71\00:48:39.35 and hearing the Holy Spirit's voice, 00:48:39.38\00:48:40.98 because the Sabbath School lesson is very deep. 00:48:41.02\00:48:44.29 And there are moments when I study something 00:48:44.32\00:48:46.86 multiple times, but it's still not clear. 00:48:46.89\00:48:49.69 And in those moments, I'll stop and say, listen, God, 00:48:49.72\00:48:52.33 I need Your Holy Spirit to speak right now. 00:48:52.36\00:48:54.16 Amen. 00:48:54.20\00:48:55.53 If You want me to teach this, I need to understand it. 00:48:55.56\00:48:57.67 Amen. 00:48:57.70\00:48:59.03 And feeling the Holy Spirit's presence come in 00:48:59.07\00:49:01.60 and hearing His voice, say, 00:49:01.64\00:49:02.97 "My child, I need you to do this, this and this, 00:49:03.00\00:49:04.64 go to this verse study this." 00:49:04.67\00:49:07.08 You study like I... 00:49:07.11\00:49:08.44 That's how I studied, like, 00:49:08.48\00:49:09.81 I'll say, Lord, I don't understand this 00:49:09.84\00:49:11.55 and how can I teach like that. 00:49:11.58\00:49:13.38 You got to show me and He does. 00:49:13.42\00:49:15.32 He does. 00:49:15.35\00:49:16.69 Now see this is interesting. 00:49:16.72\00:49:18.25 Because you're making it sound immediately, 00:49:18.29\00:49:20.46 I just have to confess. 00:49:20.49\00:49:22.12 There are times in the past 00:49:22.16\00:49:23.53 when I was studying major concepts 00:49:23.56\00:49:25.63 that it was like, Lord, you got to show me 00:49:25.66\00:49:27.60 and sometimes it'd be a week or two, 00:49:27.63\00:49:29.83 but you'd be, I'd be reading through a different section. 00:49:29.86\00:49:32.93 And it was like a flashing neon sign. 00:49:32.97\00:49:35.74 And it was like, that's your answer to this, 00:49:35.77\00:49:38.31 you know, He always leads 00:49:38.34\00:49:40.24 You know, to touch on that, 00:49:40.28\00:49:42.31 we talked about this in our Sabbath School class. 00:49:42.34\00:49:44.55 When God responds immediately and then 00:49:44.58\00:49:46.78 when He takes what seems to be a little bit longer. 00:49:46.82\00:49:48.38 Yeah. 00:49:48.42\00:49:49.75 It was one Sabbath School lesson 00:49:49.78\00:49:51.12 we're talking about this. 00:49:51.15\00:49:52.49 And through the different stories in the Bible, 00:49:52.52\00:49:54.86 God responds immediately 00:49:54.89\00:49:56.73 when His authority is in question, 00:49:56.76\00:49:58.86 when His glory is in question. 00:49:58.89\00:50:00.46 Yes. 00:50:00.50\00:50:01.83 So and He encourages us to go boldly before His throne. 00:50:01.86\00:50:04.67 So in those moments when I can't understand, 00:50:04.70\00:50:07.87 I go boldly, respectfully, but boldly and I say, 00:50:07.90\00:50:10.54 God, here's the deal. 00:50:10.57\00:50:11.91 I'm doing this for you. 00:50:11.94\00:50:13.27 This is Your Word 00:50:13.31\00:50:14.64 and your people need to hear Your Word. 00:50:14.68\00:50:16.41 And right now, You've chosen me to be Your mouthpiece, 00:50:16.44\00:50:19.45 but I can't explain something I don't understand. 00:50:19.48\00:50:22.05 So if you want Your glory to be revealed, 00:50:22.08\00:50:24.15 I need you to explain it to me as Your child. 00:50:24.19\00:50:26.65 That's the bold aspect. 00:50:26.69\00:50:28.02 And I feel like in those moments, 00:50:28.06\00:50:29.66 that's the main reason 00:50:29.69\00:50:31.03 why I do hear the Holy Spirit speak to me. 00:50:31.06\00:50:32.59 Amen. 00:50:32.63\00:50:33.96 It's not about Tiff. 00:50:34.00\00:50:35.33 It's literally about God, this is You, God. 00:50:35.36\00:50:37.33 This is about Your glory. 00:50:37.37\00:50:38.70 And we should ever, I mean, 00:50:38.73\00:50:40.07 we can't even understand this Word 00:50:40.10\00:50:41.90 without the Holy Spirit. 00:50:41.94\00:50:43.27 Every time you open the Bible, 00:50:43.30\00:50:44.64 you ought to pray and ask for the Holy Spirit. 00:50:44.67\00:50:46.74 Because these are spiritual words, 00:50:46.78\00:50:49.24 they are spiritually discerned. 00:50:49.28\00:50:51.78 Amen. Amen. 00:50:51.81\00:50:53.15 Amen. 00:50:53.18\00:50:54.52 The other two things, the first thing again, 00:50:54.55\00:50:56.25 hearing the Holy Spirit's voice. 00:50:56.28\00:50:57.65 The second thing is, God still does miracles. 00:50:57.69\00:51:01.66 Amen. 00:51:01.69\00:51:03.02 And it's increased my faith 00:51:03.06\00:51:04.39 in God's willingness to do miracles for His children. 00:51:04.43\00:51:07.00 And I think last is just realizing 00:51:07.03\00:51:10.80 that God wants to be co-laborers with us. 00:51:10.83\00:51:14.37 And I see it more and more. 00:51:14.40\00:51:16.34 He has a work that needs to be done before Jesus can return. 00:51:16.37\00:51:19.64 Absolutely. 00:51:19.67\00:51:21.01 And every week, just seeing God, 00:51:21.04\00:51:22.41 you know, people giving their testimonies, 00:51:22.44\00:51:24.01 people talking about what God has done in their life 00:51:24.05\00:51:26.18 and then seeing how we all respond to God's Word. 00:51:26.21\00:51:29.82 It's helped me realize even more God, 00:51:29.85\00:51:32.05 we're working together with You. 00:51:32.09\00:51:34.02 This work needs to get done. 00:51:34.06\00:51:35.99 So again, those three things, it's helped me to remember 00:51:36.02\00:51:38.53 how good God is and that He still has a work 00:51:38.56\00:51:41.00 that needs to be done. 00:51:41.03\00:51:42.36 And He can still use us no matter 00:51:42.40\00:51:43.73 what's going on around us, He can still use us. 00:51:43.77\00:51:46.47 And, you know, the bottom line that we all need to remember 00:51:46.50\00:51:50.57 is that He doesn't choose to use us 00:51:50.61\00:51:53.34 because we know everything, 00:51:53.38\00:51:55.68 He chooses the weak things to minister to the world, 00:51:55.71\00:52:00.65 but He empowers us. 00:52:00.68\00:52:02.58 He fills us with the Holy Spirit. 00:52:02.62\00:52:03.95 Amen. 00:52:03.99\00:52:05.32 Okay, we're going to, you think in your mind a closing thought 00:52:05.35\00:52:09.09 that you're going to want to share in a second right now. 00:52:09.12\00:52:11.89 We need to take a quick... 00:52:11.93\00:52:13.40 I told you, this program has gotten so fast. 00:52:13.43\00:52:16.00 I knew it was going to be exciting, 00:52:16.03\00:52:17.97 but we're going to take a quick break 00:52:18.00\00:52:19.60 and see our news break and we'll be right back 00:52:19.63\00:52:21.97 with a closing thought from Tiffani. 00:52:22.00\00:52:23.67
