It really has. 00:04:56.12\00:04:58.56 It's been an adventure as well, 00:04:58.59\00:05:00.50 you know, going to different places. 00:05:00.53\00:05:02.43 So, you know, being able to work here, 00:05:02.46\00:05:04.33 but overall it's been a rich experience. 00:05:04.37\00:05:06.60 Yes. 00:05:06.63\00:05:07.97 Well, for those who are viewing the program, 00:05:08.00\00:05:09.34 let me start with you, Pastor Shin. 00:05:09.37\00:05:11.21 What is Ouachita Hills, and what makes it unique? 00:05:11.24\00:05:17.05 The unique thing about Ouachita Hills College 00:05:17.08\00:05:19.91 is that, well, to give you a little bit of the history, 00:05:19.95\00:05:23.39 Dr. Mrs. Clark had a vision 00:05:23.42\00:05:25.32 to start a school and it began in their own home. 00:05:25.35\00:05:29.09 Dr. Clark is a dentist and they had this vision 00:05:29.12\00:05:31.39 to follow the principles of true education 00:05:31.43\00:05:33.60 as found in the book Education. 00:05:33.63\00:05:36.53 And they started in their own home 00:05:36.56\00:05:38.13 and it began to grow. 00:05:38.17\00:05:40.30 And then through Layman's Foundation, 00:05:40.34\00:05:42.90 those, some property bought about 10 miles away, 00:05:42.94\00:05:46.47 which is the campus that is today. 00:05:46.51\00:05:48.94 And it began with the academy. 00:05:48.98\00:05:51.75 And I came to the academy back in 1994, 00:05:51.78\00:05:55.72 changed my life, began canvassing 00:05:55.75\00:05:58.45 and gave my heart to the Lord, 00:05:58.49\00:05:59.85 had my conversion experience here. 00:05:59.89\00:06:01.96 And then about 20 years ago in 1999, 00:06:01.99\00:06:05.63 they started to have a vision 00:06:05.66\00:06:08.80 for a college to be here as well. 00:06:08.83\00:06:11.70 And in about 2004, 2005, 00:06:11.73\00:06:13.74 they began a college here and it's a four year degree. 00:06:13.77\00:06:17.24 And what makes Ouachita Hills College unique 00:06:17.27\00:06:21.04 is that we endeavor to follow 00:06:21.08\00:06:24.41 the principles found in the Spirit of Prophecy 00:06:24.45\00:06:28.85 related specifically 00:06:28.88\00:06:30.79 to the vision of Madison College. 00:06:30.82\00:06:32.79 Now EA Sutherland and Magan around 1907 00:06:32.82\00:06:36.86 were inspired by Ellen White 00:06:36.89\00:06:40.90 to begin a college that Ellen White said 00:06:40.93\00:06:43.60 was to be of a different order. 00:06:43.63\00:06:45.70 And Madison College just had a tremendous blessing 00:06:45.73\00:06:50.01 that was there. 00:06:50.04\00:06:51.37 Okay, I see. Wonderful. 00:06:51.41\00:06:52.74 So, so would you say that Ouachita Hills exists 00:06:52.77\00:06:56.31 to centre its education 00:06:56.34\00:06:58.61 not only on the principles that you alluded to, 00:06:58.65\00:07:01.42 but on Christian principles? 00:07:01.45\00:07:03.02 Is that what I'm understanding? 00:07:03.05\00:07:05.85 Absolutely, Christian principles, 00:07:05.89\00:07:08.12 and it goes back to those principles 00:07:08.16\00:07:11.19 of the school of the prophets 00:07:11.23\00:07:13.03 that Samuel instituted in Bible times. 00:07:13.06\00:07:16.00 And the, there was a work study program 00:07:16.03\00:07:18.53 in the school of the prophets. 00:07:18.57\00:07:19.90 And it was to instill biblical principles 00:07:19.93\00:07:22.27 in men and women 00:07:22.30\00:07:23.64 that would go out to bless the nation of Israel. 00:07:23.67\00:07:26.11 And in this case the Adventist Church, 00:07:26.14\00:07:28.64 the Christian community and the world. 00:07:28.68\00:07:30.61 Okay. 00:07:30.65\00:07:31.98 Let me ask Josh, 00:07:32.01\00:07:33.58 because Josh is a theology student there. 00:07:33.62\00:07:36.08 I want to ask him, how are those principles 00:07:36.12\00:07:38.62 impacting your study of theology? 00:07:38.65\00:07:42.69 Oh, they've been a tremendous blessing to me. 00:07:42.72\00:07:46.23 Seeing how we not only focus so much on just the academics, 00:07:46.26\00:07:50.40 but the practical application of them with work studies 00:07:50.43\00:07:53.60 and what the canvassing program, 00:07:53.64\00:07:55.00 and my experience 00:07:55.04\00:07:56.54 here at Ouachita Hills has been amazing. 00:07:56.57\00:07:57.97 And I've seen the power of God and the students here 00:07:58.01\00:08:00.08 and even in my own life. 00:08:00.11\00:08:01.44 Okay. 00:08:01.48\00:08:02.81 And, Crystal, how has these principles centering, 00:08:02.84\00:08:05.75 you know, you're taking education, 00:08:05.78\00:08:07.68 how have these principles 00:08:07.72\00:08:09.12 helped you in understanding education, 00:08:09.15\00:08:10.89 because you're going to be a teacher? 00:08:10.92\00:08:13.12 Expound on that briefly for me? 00:08:13.15\00:08:15.62 Yes. And that's right. 00:08:15.66\00:08:17.03 You know, being a teacher is nothing easy, 00:08:17.06\00:08:19.33 but coming to the school, it just goes to show that, 00:08:19.36\00:08:22.66 you know, the principles that I'm gaining as a teacher 00:08:22.70\00:08:24.93 are not only to train my students 00:08:24.97\00:08:27.14 to become students, 00:08:27.17\00:08:29.24 you know, qualify to serve our communities, 00:08:29.27\00:08:31.67 but also to be qualified to the life to come. 00:08:31.71\00:08:34.84 You know, and I think that's so important 00:08:34.88\00:08:36.21 because even as a teacher, 00:08:36.24\00:08:38.05 we need to understand that as well for ourselves that, 00:08:38.08\00:08:41.08 you know, it's not only to teach, 00:08:41.12\00:08:42.78 but it's a practical lifestyle 00:08:42.82\00:08:44.69 that we need to learn ourselves. 00:08:44.72\00:08:46.86 Let me ask you a question. 00:08:46.89\00:08:48.22 How has the college experience 00:08:48.26\00:08:50.93 there changed your life? 00:08:50.96\00:08:55.03 You know, that's a deep and profound question, 00:08:55.06\00:08:57.40 you know, then, has been rolling 00:08:57.43\00:09:00.97 in my mind lately as I come to the end of my, 00:09:01.00\00:09:04.77 you know, just semester being here, 00:09:04.81\00:09:07.58 but it has really taught me that overall, 00:09:07.61\00:09:11.18 you know, yes, education 00:09:11.21\00:09:13.28 and, you know, academics matter. 00:09:13.31\00:09:16.58 But overall, what will help us be successful in life 00:09:16.62\00:09:20.66 is having a spiritual life with God. 00:09:20.69\00:09:22.72 And I think that that is very essential, 00:09:22.76\00:09:24.79 you know, in becoming a teacher 00:09:24.83\00:09:26.16 because teaching is not just only what comes 00:09:26.19\00:09:28.56 out of your mouth, 00:09:28.60\00:09:29.93 but also what you project to your students, 00:09:29.96\00:09:32.07 and these principles are going to be 00:09:32.10\00:09:34.17 forever ingrained in my mind 00:09:34.20\00:09:35.54 because it's not enough just to, 00:09:35.57\00:09:37.31 you know, hear the Word, but to be doers of the Word. 00:09:37.34\00:09:40.31 And I think that that is something 00:09:40.34\00:09:41.68 that this school has really impacted my life 00:09:41.71\00:09:44.65 and just training me to be a better teacher overall 00:09:44.68\00:09:48.85 and a better child of God. 00:09:48.88\00:09:51.12 Thank you so much. Wow. That was wonderful. 00:09:51.15\00:09:53.09 Josh, you're going to be preaching 00:09:53.12\00:09:54.89 from the Word of God. 00:09:54.92\00:09:56.62 Let me also tell me how has that shaped the way 00:09:56.66\00:10:00.40 that you look at God's Word, 00:10:00.43\00:10:01.76 because you're living in an environment 00:10:01.80\00:10:03.47 as Pastor Shin pointed out, 00:10:03.50\00:10:05.33 the president that the environment 00:10:05.37\00:10:07.10 is to shape the student with the principles of Christ. 00:10:07.14\00:10:10.17 And I love that, 00:10:10.21\00:10:11.54 he referred to Samuel the school of the prophets. 00:10:11.57\00:10:14.28 How has that shaped your theological understanding 00:10:14.31\00:10:17.15 of what your mission is going to be 00:10:17.18\00:10:19.21 after you leave school? 00:10:19.25\00:10:21.95 Well, coming here, 00:10:21.98\00:10:24.49 this has been a place where I've noticed 00:10:24.52\00:10:25.92 that people can come from all walks of life 00:10:25.95\00:10:28.52 and it's a place where people are able to grow 00:10:28.56\00:10:31.29 from any place that you come from in life. 00:10:31.33\00:10:34.20 And the way that I feel 00:10:34.23\00:10:35.93 that the school has impacted me the most 00:10:35.96\00:10:37.53 is when I first came here. 00:10:37.57\00:10:39.77 I remember my first day, 00:10:39.80\00:10:41.14 I was so impressed to wake up early 00:10:41.17\00:10:43.64 and have devotional life with the Lord. 00:10:43.67\00:10:46.41 And I give my heart to the Lord 00:10:46.44\00:10:47.78 before I came to school. 00:10:47.81\00:10:49.14 But when I came here, 00:10:49.18\00:10:50.51 this is when my devotional life actually began. 00:10:50.55\00:10:51.88 And I've been here for three years. 00:10:51.91\00:10:53.75 And as I look back on my time here, 00:10:53.78\00:10:55.28 I can just see a complete transformation, 00:10:55.32\00:10:57.12 like not even just in my own life, 00:10:57.15\00:10:58.92 but in the lives of those around me. 00:10:58.95\00:11:01.29 And the school is focused on not only just preaching, 00:11:01.32\00:11:04.03 but also canvassing. 00:11:04.06\00:11:05.39 And these different works that the school has put us 00:11:05.43\00:11:07.76 in a position to do have... 00:11:07.80\00:11:09.76 They've just been an amazing experience for me. 00:11:09.80\00:11:12.60 Praise the Lord. 00:11:12.63\00:11:13.97 Pastor Shin, going back to the school, 00:11:14.00\00:11:17.74 talk about some of the majors 00:11:17.77\00:11:19.77 that are offered there at Ouachita Hills College? 00:11:19.81\00:11:23.41 Yes. 00:11:23.45\00:11:24.78 We have a religion department, 00:11:24.81\00:11:26.35 which has the religion major or the theology major 00:11:26.38\00:11:30.02 as well as biblical studies. 00:11:30.05\00:11:31.72 And then we have the education department 00:11:31.75\00:11:33.69 that has secondary education, elementary education. 00:11:33.72\00:11:36.49 We have a business department, 00:11:36.52\00:11:37.96 we offer a business degree 00:11:37.99\00:11:40.16 and we also offer a music degree. 00:11:40.20\00:11:45.33 That's right. 00:11:45.37\00:11:46.70 We have a music degree that is a relatively new degree 00:11:46.74\00:11:49.87 that we've started. 00:11:49.90\00:11:51.61 And we have a new series of Scripture songs 00:11:51.64\00:11:55.51 through the music degree department 00:11:55.54\00:11:58.25 that we've been putting together with video 00:11:58.28\00:12:00.92 and so forth. 00:12:00.95\00:12:02.28 So those are the main degrees that we have. 00:12:02.32\00:12:04.52 And as Josh mentioned, 00:12:04.55\00:12:06.15 the unique thing about Ouachita Hills 00:12:06.19\00:12:08.26 is that they are able to pay their way through school, 00:12:08.29\00:12:12.89 through the canvassing program. 00:12:12.93\00:12:14.30 We're living in a time of insurmountable debt, 00:12:14.33\00:12:17.20 where people are getting out of school 00:12:17.23\00:12:19.60 with 80, 90, 100,000 dollars worth of debt, 00:12:19.63\00:12:23.44 and that's just for their bachelor's. 00:12:23.47\00:12:24.81 Then, then they have to go for their master's. 00:12:24.84\00:12:26.54 But we believe in a no debt system here. 00:12:26.57\00:12:31.71 And the majority of our students 00:12:31.75\00:12:34.38 are able to pay their way through school, 00:12:34.42\00:12:36.89 through the canvassing program that we've interwoven 00:12:36.92\00:12:40.36 through our curriculum here. 00:12:40.39\00:12:42.36 And so that's a unique thing about Ouachita Hills College. 00:12:42.39\00:12:44.76 We believe that it's a sustainable system 00:12:44.79\00:12:46.93 in which they can go out 00:12:46.96\00:12:48.36 and do ministry for the Lord Jesus 00:12:48.40\00:12:50.27 and not be burdened 00:12:50.30\00:12:52.10 with this financial debt from their educational process. 00:12:52.13\00:12:56.50 We believe that they should be able to go out and work 00:12:56.54\00:12:58.37 and not have to worry about paying off student loans. 00:12:58.41\00:13:01.08 That's good. 00:13:01.11\00:13:02.44 For those who may not know what the term canvassing 00:13:02.48\00:13:04.98 or the word canvassing means, briefly explain that? 00:13:05.01\00:13:09.42 Yes, canvassing or otherwise known 00:13:09.45\00:13:11.82 as colporteur ministry 00:13:11.85\00:13:13.72 is where you go door to door, 00:13:13.76\00:13:16.26 selling books like Christ Object Lessons 00:13:16.29\00:13:20.26 which is Ministry of Healing, 00:13:20.30\00:13:21.63 Desire of Ages, Great Controversy. 00:13:21.66\00:13:24.17 We do have healthy cookbooks as well, 00:13:24.20\00:13:26.33 and they're able to earn their way 00:13:26.37\00:13:28.17 through school by selling these books door to door. 00:13:28.20\00:13:31.57 That's what we call the canvassing work 00:13:31.61\00:13:33.74 or the colporteur ministry. 00:13:33.78\00:13:35.51 Wonderful, and that offsets their debt. 00:13:35.54\00:13:38.48 I know, you know, it's amazing when you talked about 00:13:38.51\00:13:39.98 how much education costs. 00:13:40.02\00:13:42.38 Somebody once said to me 00:13:42.42\00:13:44.85 they were talking about education. 00:13:44.89\00:13:46.39 They said, "We have to consider that education is, 00:13:46.42\00:13:48.92 Christian education is an investment in eternity." 00:13:48.96\00:13:53.36 But I also responded, I said, 00:13:53.40\00:13:54.80 "But the students shouldn't be paying 00:13:54.83\00:13:56.26 for their debt eternally either. 00:13:56.30\00:13:58.27 And so it's encouraging to know 00:13:58.30\00:14:01.87 that they could work their way through school. 00:14:01.90\00:14:04.64 And because I've known students that have graduated, 00:14:04.67\00:14:07.01 you know, 200,000, $300,000 debt, 00:14:07.04\00:14:10.91 by the time they get their master's 00:14:10.95\00:14:12.51 or sometimes their doctorate degree. 00:14:12.55\00:14:14.75 And really you have to get rid of that debt 00:14:14.78\00:14:16.85 before you even start thinking about getting a house 00:14:16.89\00:14:18.89 and getting settled. 00:14:18.92\00:14:20.26 So we praise the Lord that Ouachita Hills 00:14:20.29\00:14:21.79 has put into place a program 00:14:21.82\00:14:24.49 that says to the students, 00:14:24.53\00:14:26.03 you don't have to worry about leaving here 00:14:26.06\00:14:28.16 and dragging a train of debt behind you. 00:14:28.20\00:14:30.90 That's a wonderful philosophy 00:14:30.93\00:14:32.77 and a wonderful program. 00:14:32.80\00:14:34.54 Talk about some of the, 00:14:34.57\00:14:37.44 some of the costs 00:14:37.47\00:14:39.27 because a lot of times parents say, 00:14:39.31\00:14:40.94 well, you know, this sounds great, 00:14:40.98\00:14:42.64 but is it a cost effective education? 00:14:42.68\00:14:45.78 Is it synonymous to education on the level 00:14:45.81\00:14:49.98 that we see in a lot of colleges today 00:14:50.02\00:14:52.35 or more affordable? 00:14:52.39\00:14:55.19 Yes, our annual tuition is $10,000 a year, 00:14:55.22\00:15:00.06 which is very, very affordable 00:15:00.10\00:15:02.26 considering that we're looking at colleges now 00:15:02.30\00:15:04.40 that are going upwards of 30 to $40,000 00:15:04.43\00:15:07.10 just for one year. 00:15:07.14\00:15:08.50 So we're looking at $10,000. 00:15:08.54\00:15:10.27 And if you work during the summer program, 00:15:10.31\00:15:12.21 and then we have a spring, winter program 00:15:12.24\00:15:13.88 and other ones interspersed throughout the year, 00:15:13.91\00:15:16.14 you're able to pay off a significant part of that 00:15:16.18\00:15:19.45 as you're going through school. 00:15:19.48\00:15:21.78 So that's the beauty of this model. 00:15:21.82\00:15:24.15 We believe that it's a sustainable model. 00:15:24.19\00:15:26.02 And at the same time, 00:15:26.05\00:15:27.66 Ellen White indicates that the canvassing work 00:15:27.69\00:15:30.33 is the best preparation for ministry. 00:15:30.36\00:15:32.99 And so it's, it's not just, you're just working, 00:15:33.03\00:15:35.16 but you're actually doing ministry 00:15:35.20\00:15:37.30 and you're preparing yourself for the Lord's service. 00:15:37.33\00:15:39.70 And at the same time, 00:15:39.73\00:15:41.07 you're getting books like the book, 00:15:41.10\00:15:42.47 Great Controversy into the home. 00:15:42.50\00:15:44.57 And I believe we're living in the last days. 00:15:44.61\00:15:46.78 And Josh, we just went out a couple of weeks ago 00:15:46.81\00:15:50.58 and he was in a parking lot 00:15:50.61\00:15:52.98 and he sold in one day 00:15:53.01\00:15:54.98 over 50 Great Controversies in one day. 00:15:55.02\00:15:58.55 And so these are the experiences 00:15:58.59\00:16:00.36 that they're having and they're coming back 00:16:00.39\00:16:01.72 on fire for the Lord. 00:16:01.76\00:16:03.12 And it has a way of just enriching 00:16:03.16\00:16:06.96 the educational experience here. 00:16:07.00\00:16:08.63 So the canvassing... 00:16:08.66\00:16:10.07 The canvassing work, 00:16:10.10\00:16:11.43 the canvassing experience is one that is, 00:16:11.47\00:16:13.54 is central part of the curriculum. 00:16:13.57\00:16:17.57 It helps pay for their tuition, 00:16:17.61\00:16:19.34 at the same time their own experiences enrich. 00:16:19.37\00:16:22.38 They're able to grow spiritually, 00:16:22.41\00:16:23.85 gain skills of relating and talking to people. 00:16:23.88\00:16:26.88 And at the same time, get books 00:16:26.92\00:16:28.25 into the home, like the book, Great Controversy. 00:16:28.28\00:16:31.25 They're so critical for these last days. 00:16:31.29\00:16:32.72 Wow. 00:16:32.75\00:16:34.09 Let me give Josh or Crystal an opportunity 00:16:34.12\00:16:38.19 to share maybe a miracle story, 00:16:38.23\00:16:39.96 something that you've experienced 00:16:40.00\00:16:41.53 that has really impacted you positively 00:16:41.56\00:16:44.00 as you've gone out canvassing. 00:16:44.03\00:16:45.60 Which one of you would like to share that? 00:16:45.63\00:16:48.37 Yeah, I've had an experience 00:16:48.40\00:16:50.07 before where I knocked on a lady's door 00:16:50.11\00:16:52.84 and she opened the door to me 00:16:52.87\00:16:56.21 and I started canvassing her 00:16:56.24\00:16:57.81 and she was interested in my book. 00:16:57.85\00:17:00.02 She bought the Great Controversy from me, 00:17:00.05\00:17:01.65 Steps to Christ, and Desire of Ages. 00:17:01.68\00:17:04.39 And, but I asked her after we were done, 00:17:04.42\00:17:05.82 if I could, if there's anything I could pray with her about. 00:17:05.85\00:17:08.26 And as soon as I said that, 00:17:08.29\00:17:09.62 this grown lady just broke down, 00:17:09.66\00:17:12.23 crying uncontrollably. 00:17:12.26\00:17:13.60 Like she was weeping, uncontrolled, 00:17:13.63\00:17:15.03 but she covered her face with the books. 00:17:15.06\00:17:16.70 And as she covered her face with a book, 00:17:16.73\00:17:18.37 she pulled them away. 00:17:18.40\00:17:19.73 And she said, I can't believe you showed up today. 00:17:19.77\00:17:22.47 And she put her face back over the books 00:17:22.50\00:17:24.57 and began weeping. 00:17:24.61\00:17:25.94 And at this time I'm getting kind of emotional myself 00:17:25.97\00:17:28.34 and she took the books away again. 00:17:28.38\00:17:29.71 And she said, "I can't believe you showed up today." 00:17:29.74\00:17:32.05 And she said, "Yes, I need prayer. 00:17:32.08\00:17:33.42 Please come in." 00:17:33.45\00:17:34.78 And so I come in the house and I'm kinda crying now. 00:17:34.82\00:17:37.39 And she's still uncontrollably crying. 00:17:37.42\00:17:39.59 And she puts the books back over her face 00:17:39.62\00:17:41.36 and her daughter walks in the room, 00:17:41.39\00:17:43.32 her daughter, she was an adult 00:17:43.36\00:17:44.73 and her daughter's crying too. 00:17:44.76\00:17:46.90 And she looked at her daughter and she said, 00:17:46.93\00:17:48.53 "Can you believe he showed up today?" 00:17:48.56\00:17:50.33 Hmm. 00:17:50.37\00:17:51.70 And her daughter just shook her head 00:17:51.73\00:17:53.17 and they were crying and I was crying. 00:17:53.20\00:17:54.94 And I asked her, I said, 00:17:54.97\00:17:56.30 "Do you want to share with me what's going on? 00:17:56.34\00:17:58.14 Or would you just like me to pray?" 00:17:58.17\00:17:59.74 And she said, 00:17:59.77\00:18:01.11 "We just want to keep it private, 00:18:01.14\00:18:02.48 just please pray for us." 00:18:02.51\00:18:03.85 And I pray with that lady. 00:18:03.88\00:18:05.45 And I went away there 00:18:05.48\00:18:06.82 knowing that God had sent me there. 00:18:06.85\00:18:08.22 And we have many stories of people having dreams 00:18:08.25\00:18:10.22 about the Great Controversy, people having visions. 00:18:10.25\00:18:13.36 But that was 00:18:13.39\00:18:14.72 the most powerful experience for me 00:18:14.76\00:18:16.09 because I knew that God had sent me there 00:18:16.12\00:18:17.46 to, to help bind up the broken hearted. 00:18:17.49\00:18:19.06 Wow. 00:18:19.09\00:18:20.43 It's amazing how the Lord sent you there that day. 00:18:20.46\00:18:22.90 Harriet, I mean, yeah. 00:18:22.93\00:18:24.27 Crystal, would you like to share something with us? 00:18:24.30\00:18:26.17 Because I know that, you know, 00:18:26.20\00:18:27.80 canvassing is in and of itself takes bravery, 00:18:27.84\00:18:30.81 but what has, what have you experienced 00:18:30.84\00:18:33.58 that has impacted your life going out on canvassing? 00:18:33.61\00:18:37.05 Yes. 00:20:02.60\00:20:06.30 And he comes back 00:20:06.33\00:20:07.80 and he comes back without the book 00:20:07.84\00:20:09.17 and I'm just like, oh no. 00:20:09.20\00:20:10.54 And I'm just like, okay, Crystal, show him another book. 00:20:10.57\00:20:12.47 And I'm just like, okay, well, 00:20:12.51\00:20:14.11 let me show you Christ Object Lessons. 00:20:14.14\00:20:15.78 This book has been a powerful, 00:20:15.81\00:20:18.31 you know, just devotional in my life. 00:20:18.35\00:20:20.35 And then he's like, oh, wow. 00:20:20.38\00:20:21.82 Yeah, hold on. 00:20:21.85\00:20:23.18 And he goes back inside and he takes the book 00:20:23.22\00:20:25.25 and he comes back without the book. 00:20:25.29\00:20:26.76 And I'm just thinking, oh, this is it. 00:20:26.79\00:20:29.02 He's really going to take my books. 00:20:29.06\00:20:30.39 Lord, what more can I ask for? 00:20:30.43\00:20:33.03 Long story short, and I said, 00:20:33.06\00:20:35.30 "Sir, you know what we're doing, 00:20:35.33\00:20:39.67 And I refocus and I just get really personal 00:20:39.70\00:20:42.60 and tell him, you know, the reason 00:20:42.64\00:20:44.07 why we're doing here is just to be able to bring 00:20:44.11\00:20:46.68 hope to people. 00:20:46.71\00:20:48.04 And he says, I had in my hand, 00:20:48.08\00:20:50.55 The Great Controversy was the last one. 00:20:50.58\00:20:52.01 And he says, what's that book? The story does not end there. 00:21:41.50\00:21:43.67 But later on, I get a letter from the mail 00:21:43.70\00:21:46.87 and it basically describes all the things 00:21:46.90\00:21:49.27 that were going behind the scene. 00:21:49.30\00:21:50.64 This man previously to me knocking on the door, 00:21:50.67\00:21:53.48 he was looking online on Amazon to buy The Great Controversy. 00:21:53.51\00:21:57.35 And as soon as I knocked the door, 00:21:57.38\00:21:58.71 I had The Great Controversy for him. 00:21:58.75\00:22:00.78 And then morning, he had just committed Lord, 00:22:00.82\00:22:03.52 I'm going to leave all of the unhealthy, 00:22:03.55\00:22:06.49 unclean meats and I'm going to become vegan. 00:22:06.52\00:22:09.29 And I had, the first book that I handed to him 00:22:09.32\00:22:11.73 was Habits that Heal. 00:22:11.76\00:22:13.60 And that's why he was like, wow, wait for me a second. 00:22:13.63\00:22:16.20 And now I'm just like, wow, this is so crazy. 00:22:16.23\00:22:18.40 Not only that he was so impacted 00:22:18.43\00:22:20.20 by the prayer that I had with him, 00:22:20.24\00:22:22.34 that it did with him that he sent an extra donation. 00:22:22.37\00:22:26.21 And that moment, when I came back to school, 00:22:26.24\00:22:28.24 I was wondering if I was going to be 00:22:28.28\00:22:29.81 able to stay another semester in school 00:22:29.84\00:22:32.01 and finished my education. 00:22:32.05\00:22:33.42 But it was because of the impact 00:22:33.45\00:22:34.98 that we have out there in these houses, 00:22:35.02\00:22:37.29 he was not Adventist or anything like that, 00:22:37.32\00:22:39.39 that he was able to donate. 00:22:39.42\00:22:40.76 And that's why I'm still here. 00:22:40.79\00:22:42.52 Praise the Lord.
