Then running toward
Goliath at full speed,

just six years ago.

She grew up in
a very poor place.

She was a rubber
tapper by family trade.

What is it that? But she did...

That means that
she carves in trees

and helps them bleed latex
that's used to make rubber.

And it doesn't pay
well, I'll tell you that.

So her family was very excited

when she won a full
scholarship to study medicine.

And so this meant

that her family would
be raised out of poverty

and her village would benefit

and her local
church was so excited.

to study medicine.

But while she
was studying there,

she encountered
what you might call

a spin off the GYC movement,

a youth revival
going on in Asia.

And it changed her life.

And soon after that meeting,

important exam on Sabbath.

Well, Malaysia
is a Muslim country

was faithful despite pressure.

out in medical school.

And she came to study

in our mission training program.

And three years later,

skills in chemistry

There's no welfare system

getting very hungry,

and now every

in our school are
praying in the name of Jesus.

And even the
mother of one of them

has begun to do that.

that's what Perla is doing.

he had become skeptical.

He's from Yemen.

he had seen some things
that really perplexed him.

He saw imams change their tune

because of politics about
what is true theologically.

out her skepticism.
