I was the brand-newly

that I believe strongly,

strongly, as well. - Oh, yes.

sitting there, brand-newly

young mother of thr-
I have four children,

and my youngest was
three months old, and Pastor

stood up and he said, "You

know, it's nice, Adventists,
that you get together

a nice program for yourself,

for the community around

and God was like, "Do it."

and four and 12, and I'm a

mom! I'm an OBGYN! How am

this?" And God said, "Do it."

And so, I said,
"Okay, Lord." At least by

then, I'd learned
his voice. And so I said,

what you want me to do,

so, had no clue what I

my most trusted people

of. - Oh, wow. - So that was

2014. So the very first
event, planning began 2013,

in Oakland, and it has
just likely talked about

very beginning, as well.

Now, we were only two blocks

out of San Francisco, and

This was a story about a

children who had broken teeth,

Well, so, this
young man, he was a single

other was four... Homeless dad,

Texas, moved to San Francisco...

He'd broken off his
front two teeth, and

he had gone to
multiple different places where

he could get a job,
and everyone kept saying,

"No, no, no, you
can't get hired," and they

kept giving him clear
indication it was because

of his teeth. And
so finally, he was just

walking down the
street, and he was praying to

God. He's like, "Lord,
God, if You're out there,

help me, please!
I've got these two babies

that need help!"
And just then, he looked

down, and a piece
of paper flew into the

spokes of the
stroller that he was pushing

for his baby. And so
he reached down, he picked

up the paper out of
the stroller spokes, and he

looked at it, and
the very top thing said,

"Free dental care!" And
he couldn't believe what

he saw! Free dental
care at the Armory?!

Seriously? Really?!
And so he went straight

there with his two
babies. It was mid-day,

the day before the
event began-he parked himself

the very first
person in line. The very-

he stayed all night long
with his two little ones.

- He sat all night
long. - All day and all night,

and he was the very
first dental patient to come

in. He was
serviced, we had before and

after pictures. His teeth
looked perfect afterwards.

He went straight

a job placement agency,
and he got a job. - Amen.

went back. He was like the

back and thanked Jesus.

event and he told the

dentist who helped fix
his teeth. He said, "Thank

you so much. God used
you to change my life."

we'd heard about this
clinic and we thought,

We're not medical people."

wanted our children to become

ministry, but we had done

some mission trips
across the seas, and those are

very expensive, but
this one was just in

learned that there were

things that people
who were non-medical could

do, and so we brought
all of our children along.
