Yeah. 00:06:43.40\00:06:44.73 And talk about that how in spite of your vision 00:06:44.77\00:06:48.14 in the challenges there, 00:06:48.17\00:06:50.21 your walk with Christ is still growing. 00:06:50.24\00:06:51.91 Yeah. 00:06:51.94\00:06:53.27 Another term that they uses differently-abled. 00:06:53.31\00:06:55.28 Differently-abled, it's right. Yeah. 00:06:55.31\00:06:57.35 And, I just think with anyone, 00:06:57.38\00:07:00.62 no matter how broken you are, 00:07:00.65\00:07:03.92 God can use you. 00:07:03.99\00:07:05.79 He always have something to give, 00:07:05.82\00:07:08.59 if you surrender your life to Him. 00:07:08.62\00:07:10.43 He can reveal to you gifts that you have 00:07:10.46\00:07:14.43 or He can qualify you with new gifts. 00:07:14.46\00:07:17.10 Whatever your situation, 00:07:17.17\00:07:18.50 if as long as you're in God's hands, 00:07:18.53\00:07:20.17 He can use you in any way He wants to, 00:07:20.24\00:07:21.97 in spite of what seems to be limitations in your life. 00:07:22.00\00:07:26.24 In the society we live in today has in so many ways augmented 00:07:26.27\00:07:30.68 making it doable for people with the visual challenges, 00:07:30.75\00:07:33.82 you can still read the Bible, still do a lot of things. 00:07:33.85\00:07:37.29 How do you, talk about that for a moment 00:07:37.32\00:07:38.72 because some people may say, well, they've I can't, 00:07:38.75\00:07:41.22 but I've looked at your life and I don't see "I can't." 00:07:41.26\00:07:43.96 I've looked at the "How can I?" 00:07:44.03\00:07:45.56 Right. 00:07:45.59\00:07:48.00 What benefited me is that, 00:07:48.03\00:07:50.40 I was blessed with a very good, 00:07:50.47\00:07:54.34 Christian and scholastic education. 00:07:54.37\00:07:57.54 By the time I was two, I knew what braille was. 00:07:57.61\00:08:00.88 I remember even feeling braille 00:08:00.91\00:08:02.81 when my mom telling me what it was 00:08:02.84\00:08:04.18 and we have a recording, a cassette recording of me 00:08:04.25\00:08:06.85 at my grandma's house. 00:08:06.92\00:08:09.22 And I'm feeling a glass mason canning jar 00:08:09.25\00:08:12.35 and there are bumps on the jar. 00:08:12.39\00:08:13.76 I was certain that there was Braille on that jar. 00:08:13.79\00:08:16.26 And I specifically said, Grandma's jar Braille. 00:08:16.29\00:08:19.56 And when I got a little older, 00:08:19.59\00:08:21.23 just probably couple of years later, 00:08:21.26\00:08:23.03 they had me feeling lines of dots 00:08:23.06\00:08:26.00 vertically, horizontally, diagonally 00:08:26.03\00:08:29.24 just so that my fingers would get accustomed 00:08:29.27\00:08:31.24 to the feeling before they started teaching me to read. 00:08:31.27\00:08:34.34 And I did pick up on learning to read. 00:08:34.38\00:08:36.14 I learned to read very well. 00:08:36.18\00:08:38.01 I was able to take all the same classes 00:08:38.05\00:08:40.98 as my peers. 00:08:41.02\00:08:43.05 I was given a Braille Bible when I was nine, 00:08:43.08\00:08:46.02 King James Version. Okay. 00:08:46.05\00:08:48.09 Braille takes up a ton of space. 00:08:48.12\00:08:50.13 The Bible was 18 volumes and I don't mean small volumes. 00:08:50.16\00:08:53.63 I mean just monstrous size volumes. 00:08:53.70\00:08:56.46 The book of Psalms was one huge volume. 00:08:56.50\00:09:00.24 Wow. 00:09:00.27\00:09:01.60 And so needless to say, 00:09:01.64\00:09:02.97 I did not bring my Bible to church. 00:09:03.00\00:09:05.24 Okay, I like that. 00:09:05.27\00:09:06.68 Used to be a joke when I was a kid 00:09:06.71\00:09:08.38 being Sabbath school when they said 00:09:08.41\00:09:09.74 "Did you bring your Bible?" 00:09:09.78\00:09:11.11 I'd say, "We'd bring in the truck." 00:09:11.15\00:09:12.55 So I was able to go to church school 00:09:12.58\00:09:14.35 from sixth to eight grade and just as I grew, 00:09:14.38\00:09:18.22 Braille for the most part was accessible to me. 00:09:18.25\00:09:20.99 The technology I needed was accessible to me 00:09:21.02\00:09:24.66 and now simply 00:09:24.69\00:09:26.63 because Braille takes up so much space, 00:09:26.70\00:09:28.53 I no longer have the Braille Bible. 00:09:28.56\00:09:30.67 I read it all on my computer and I just love the fact 00:09:30.70\00:09:35.27 because my computer has 00:09:35.30\00:09:36.64 what's called a "Screen Reader." 00:09:36.71\00:09:38.04 It speaks what is on the screen. 00:09:38.07\00:09:39.41 Okay. 00:09:39.44\00:09:40.78 So as I'm using the keys, it speaks. 00:09:40.81\00:09:43.75 And, so it's simply 00:09:43.78\00:09:48.62 because of like the digital age that we are in, 00:09:48.65\00:09:51.02 I now read the Bible that way and I'm so thankful, 00:09:51.05\00:09:54.26 that thanks to the internet I'm able to read all of the... 00:09:54.29\00:09:57.43 I'm able to access 00:09:57.46\00:09:58.79 all of the Ellen White materials that I want to. 00:09:58.83\00:10:00.50 Amen. 00:10:00.53\00:10:01.86 It's in her age, in her era and that in her year 00:10:01.90\00:10:03.77 when she was alive, 00:10:03.80\00:10:05.13 that was not accessible to blind people. 00:10:05.17\00:10:06.50 That's true. Now it is. 00:10:06.53\00:10:08.74 I can just go to Google and search up anything 00:10:08.77\00:10:11.47 and then there it is, 00:10:11.51\00:10:12.94 and I'm so thankful for technology because of that. 00:10:12.97\00:10:15.41 Wow. 00:10:15.44\00:10:16.78 You know, you talk about that, 00:10:16.85\00:10:18.18 I even use it sometime to have a document 00:10:18.21\00:10:19.58 open in Microsoft Word 00:10:19.61\00:10:20.95 and I don't wanna read it 00:10:20.98\00:10:22.32 and I hit the stroke keys and it reads it to me, 00:10:22.35\00:10:23.82 so I know what you are talking about. 00:10:23.89\00:10:25.22 Yeah. 00:10:25.25\00:10:26.59 It's a blessing, tremendous blessing. 00:10:26.62\00:10:27.96 And I do have a smartphone. 00:10:27.99\00:10:29.32 Okay. 00:10:29.36\00:10:30.69 And the way I'm able to do that 00:10:30.73\00:10:32.06 is once again screen reading software. 00:10:32.09\00:10:33.43 So I move my finger around, it speaks what's there. 00:10:33.46\00:10:36.36 I double-tap or do a gesture whatever I want to do. 00:10:36.40\00:10:39.60 I use Google dictation for my texts. 00:10:39.63\00:10:43.54 I'll be getting a Bluetooth keyboard 00:10:43.61\00:10:45.31 so that I'll be able to type 00:10:45.34\00:10:46.68 but, yes, I am able to access those things, 00:10:46.71\00:10:50.25 thanks to technology. 00:10:50.28\00:10:51.61 And you know the encouraging thing 00:10:51.65\00:10:52.98 about working with you, 00:10:53.01\00:10:54.35 we've sung a number of songs together. 00:10:54.38\00:10:55.95 One of the favorite ones and I say this to our audience, 00:10:55.98\00:10:59.32 we sang a song, 00:10:59.35\00:11:00.69 "Wonderful Merciful Savior" together. 00:11:00.76\00:11:02.99 And, it's up to like over 900,000 views 00:11:03.02\00:11:06.19 on the YouTube. 00:11:06.23\00:11:08.53 Praise the Lord for that. Yes, absolutely. 00:18:11.09\00:18:13.25 It's been a blessing. 00:18:13.29\00:18:14.62 But now you've gone to talk 00:18:14.66\00:18:16.56 about some of the places you've travelled? 00:18:16.59\00:18:18.66 Like I said, around the US, we've been into Canada, 00:18:18.69\00:18:22.40 New Finland and Nova Scotia for the camp meetings. 00:18:22.43\00:18:24.40 Okay. 00:18:24.43\00:18:25.77 And several years back, 00:18:25.80\00:18:27.14 we were in Manila with ShareHim. 00:18:27.17\00:18:28.50 Oh, wow. 00:18:28.54\00:18:29.87 Definitely, an unforgettable experience there. 00:18:29.90\00:18:33.11 We've been in Mexico at one point as well. 00:18:33.14\00:18:37.55 So you haven't gone to Australia yet. 00:18:37.58\00:18:38.98 Not yet. Would love to, but not yet. 00:18:39.01\00:18:41.52 And for those of you that are down in Australia 00:18:41.55\00:18:43.49 that have not invited Stephanie, 00:18:43.52\00:18:44.95 let me put a plug-in. 00:18:44.99\00:18:46.32 She sings in English wherever she goes. 00:18:46.35\00:18:48.76 And you'll be able to understand her very well. 00:18:48.79\00:18:50.33 Ain't that right, Stephanie? Absolutely. 00:18:50.36\00:18:52.09 And we've enjoyed Australia and wonderful. 00:18:52.13\00:18:54.30 The church is amazing there so that maybe something 00:18:54.33\00:18:57.07 that could be added to your repertoire. 00:18:57.10\00:18:58.43 We'd love to. 00:18:58.47\00:18:59.80 I'm sure that Dann and Karen would love to go there. 00:18:59.83\00:19:01.17 Oh, yeah. We all would, we'd love to. 00:19:01.20\00:19:02.60 Now, there's a song you sing also, 00:19:02.64\00:19:04.34 and I want to kind of have you preview this 00:19:04.37\00:19:06.54 and tell us a little bit about it. 00:19:06.57\00:19:07.91 It is entitled, "I'll Go Where You Want Me To Go." 00:19:07.94\00:19:11.58 Well, this song is a special message 00:19:11.61\00:19:14.32 'cause it really in my mind, 00:19:14.35\00:19:15.68 it's connected with something... 00:19:15.72\00:19:18.09 Del Delker was one of my best friends, 00:19:18.12\00:19:20.59 singer for the Voice of Prophecy 00:19:20.66\00:19:22.12 for almost 60 years. 00:19:22.16\00:19:23.53 Wow. 00:19:23.56\00:19:24.89 She was one of the people that my mom played for me 00:19:24.93\00:19:26.29 when I was a toddler. 00:19:26.33\00:19:27.66 Okay. 00:19:27.70\00:19:29.03 With my little cassette player and the first time I met Del, 00:19:29.06\00:19:30.87 I was four years old and she became... 00:19:30.90\00:19:33.67 She took me under her wing and became my mentor 00:19:33.74\00:19:35.97 and, when I grew up, 00:19:36.00\00:19:38.04 we developed a very, very close friendship. 00:19:38.07\00:19:41.18 And one day I was talking with her on the phone 00:19:41.21\00:19:44.48 and I was sharing with her a specific way 00:19:44.51\00:19:47.68 in which God was leading me in ministry, 00:19:47.72\00:19:50.29 and she said, "You're getting to be an evangelist." 00:19:50.32\00:19:52.75 And I said, "I wouldn't know." 00:19:52.79\00:19:54.16 I said, "I don't think I'd go that far." 00:19:54.19\00:19:56.46 And she said, "Listen, 00:19:56.49\00:19:57.83 everyone who professes to be a Christian 00:19:57.86\00:20:00.73 is one or should be." 00:20:00.80\00:20:03.06 And it just really gave me a deeper insight 00:20:03.10\00:20:05.87 as to what evangelism really is. 00:20:05.90\00:20:08.04 Right. 00:20:08.07\00:20:09.40 Because whether you're speaking in front of thousands of people 00:20:09.44\00:20:12.11 or you are ministering to the physical, emotional, 00:20:12.14\00:20:15.58 spiritual needs of others, 00:20:15.61\00:20:17.08 maybe caring for the sick 00:20:17.15\00:20:18.48 or providing food to those who need it. 00:20:18.51\00:20:21.15 Whether you're teaching in a school, 00:20:21.18\00:20:22.58 whether you are giving Bible study to a family 00:20:22.62\00:20:24.99 or whether you are just being a support 00:20:25.02\00:20:26.49 for somebody one on one. 00:20:26.52\00:20:27.86 That's right. 00:20:27.89\00:20:29.22 You're doing the work of an evangelist 00:20:29.26\00:20:30.63 and that's why I think this song is so significant, 00:20:30.66\00:20:33.16 being willing to go where God wants us to go 00:20:33.19\00:20:35.80 and say what He wants us to say 00:20:35.83\00:20:37.57 and to be what He wants us to be. 00:20:37.60\00:20:39.63 That's a beautiful segue into the song 00:20:39.67\00:20:41.30 because that's true, 00:20:41.34\00:20:42.67 either you're missionary or mission field. 00:20:42.70\00:20:44.14 Yes. 00:20:44.21\00:20:45.54 And either you're preaching the gospel 00:20:45.57\00:20:46.91 or one that needs to hear the gospel. 00:20:46.94\00:20:48.28 Yes. 00:20:48.31\00:20:49.64 So let's sit back and listen 00:20:49.68\00:20:51.01 to the wonderful message in the song, 00:20:51.05\00:20:52.38 "I'll go Where You Want Me To Go." 00:20:52.41\00:20:54.12 It may not be 00:21:11.00\00:21:14.77 On the mountain height 00:21:14.80\00:21:18.61 Or over the stormy sea 00:21:18.64\00:21:26.18 It may not be at the battle's front 00:21:26.21\00:21:33.96 My Lord will have need of me 00:21:33.99\00:21:39.16 But if, by a still, small voice he calls 00:21:42.16\00:21:49.34 To paths I do not know 00:21:49.37\00:21:57.25 I'll answer, dear Lord, with my hand in thine 00:21:57.28\00:22:04.72 I'll go where you want me to go 00:22:04.75\00:22:09.79 I'll go where you want me to go, dear Lord 00:22:12.86\00:22:19.93 Over mountain or plain or sea 00:22:19.97\00:22:27.48 I'll say what you want me to say, dear Lord 00:22:27.51\00:22:34.82 I'll be what you want me to be 00:22:34.85\00:22:40.26 Perhaps today there are loving words 00:22:43.26\00:22:50.87 That Jesus would have me speak 00:22:50.90\00:22:58.37 There may be now in the paths of sin 00:22:58.41\00:23:05.85 Some wanderer whom I should seek 00:23:05.88\00:23:13.86 O Savior, if thou wilt be my guide 00:23:13.89\00:23:21.13 Though dark and rugged the way 00:23:21.16\00:23:28.60 My voice shall echo the message sweet 00:23:28.64\00:23:36.04 I'll say what you want me to say 00:23:36.08\00:23:43.92 I'll go where you want me to go, dear Lord 00:23:43.99\00:23:51.16 Over mountain or plain or sea 00:23:51.19\00:23:58.63 I'll say what you want me to say, dear Lord 00:23:58.67\00:24:06.24 I'll be what you want me to be 00:24:06.27\00:24:12.25 There's surely somewhere a lowly place 00:24:25.33\00:24:32.87 In earth's harvest fields so wide 00:24:32.90\00:24:39.84 Where I may labor through life's short day 00:24:39.87\00:24:47.22 For Jesus, the Crucified 00:24:47.25\00:24:54.72 So trusting my all love to thy care 00:24:54.76\00:25:01.93 I know thou lovest me 00:25:01.96\00:25:06.87 I'll do thy will with a heart sincere 00:25:09.90\00:25:17.18 I'll be what you want me to be 00:25:17.25\00:25:22.08 I'll go where you want me to go, dear Lord 00:25:25.12\00:25:32.29 Over mountain or plain or sea 00:25:32.33\00:25:37.63 I'll say what you want me to say, 00:25:40.64\00:25:47.38 Dear Lord 00:25:47.41\00:25:50.18 I'll be what you want me to be 00:25:50.25\00:25:57.09 Thank you so much for that song 00:26:14.14\00:26:15.77 "I'll go Where You Want Me To Go," 00:26:15.80\00:26:18.21 and that should be the case in every one of our lives, 00:26:18.24\00:26:20.58 we don't pick where the Lord, where we gonna go. 00:26:20.61\00:26:23.58 You know the story of Peter 00:26:23.65\00:26:24.98 and John Chapter 21 in the Bible, 00:26:25.01\00:26:26.35 I remember that, Stephanie, 00:26:26.38\00:26:27.72 where when the Lord challenged Peter, 00:26:27.75\00:26:29.52 he said, "Follow me," 00:26:29.55\00:26:31.55 and Peter said, "What about John?" 00:26:31.59\00:26:33.86 And the Lord said to him, 00:26:33.89\00:26:35.22 "If I want him to stay there till I come back, 00:26:35.26\00:26:38.16 you know what is it to you?" 00:26:38.19\00:26:39.53 Exactly. 00:26:39.56\00:26:40.90 And so you've gone 00:26:40.93\00:26:42.26 wherever the Lord led you to go. 00:26:42.30\00:26:43.67 Yeah. Wow. 00:27:49.43\00:27:50.77 That is special 00:27:50.80\00:27:52.13 'cause some people have a person 00:27:52.17\00:27:53.54 that plays for them, 00:27:53.57\00:27:54.90 but you have a person that plays for you, 00:27:54.94\00:27:56.71 travels with you, and you live, in your family. 00:27:56.74\00:28:00.11 Yes. And that's a big part of it. 00:28:00.18\00:28:02.24 So there're days, 00:28:02.28\00:28:03.65 do you ever get up in the morning and say, 00:28:03.68\00:28:05.01 "Hey, there's a song 00:28:05.05\00:28:06.38 that's going through my head Dann, 00:28:06.41\00:28:07.75 let's try this on the piano." 00:28:07.78\00:28:09.12 Well, it never happened to me in particular. 00:28:09.15\00:28:11.59 Usually I hear a recording of something 00:28:11.62\00:28:13.89 and it's like, yes, you know, I've gotta do this. 00:28:13.96\00:28:18.46 So, yeah, I often stumble across the music 00:28:18.49\00:28:22.26 wanna do just through what I hear. 00:28:22.30\00:28:26.20 And I've seen his patience. 00:28:26.23\00:28:27.57 He's really wonderful guy... 00:28:27.64\00:28:28.97 He is a great guy. 00:28:29.00\00:28:30.41 And he has that skill to do 00:28:30.44\00:28:31.77 software and computer and all that stuff. 00:28:31.81\00:28:33.61 Yeah, yeah, we can do all recording all around. 00:28:33.68\00:28:36.48 Which is a big part of it. 00:28:36.51\00:28:37.85 Oh, it is a huge part of it. 00:28:37.88\00:28:39.21 Now, in your ministry, the Dawn of Hope Ministry, 00:28:39.25\00:28:41.42 that's the title of your ministry 00:28:41.45\00:28:42.98 that you all are partner together with. 00:28:43.02\00:28:45.09 Yes. 00:28:45.12\00:28:46.45 How long has... 00:28:46.49\00:28:47.82 In a general nutshell, 00:28:47.86\00:28:49.19 how long has Dawn of Hope Ministry been around? 00:28:49.22\00:28:51.73 Well, the name Dawn of Hope Ministry 00:28:51.76\00:28:53.60 came into existence a few years ago. 00:28:53.63\00:28:55.96 We were traveling further back than that. 00:28:56.00\00:29:00.77 But for a while, we stopped traveling 00:29:00.84\00:29:03.00 because I had gone through some, 00:29:03.04\00:29:04.44 you know major health issues. 00:29:04.47\00:29:06.54 And finally we were ready to... 00:29:06.57\00:29:08.81 I was ready to travel again. 00:29:08.84\00:29:10.35 We all were ready to travel again 00:29:10.38\00:29:12.35 and we wanted to come up with a new ministry name, 00:29:12.38\00:29:14.65 and all of a sudden God just flashed that in my mind, 00:29:14.68\00:29:17.52 just out of the blue. 00:29:17.59\00:29:18.92 Wow. 00:29:18.95\00:29:20.29 And it really fits for what I've gone through 00:29:20.32\00:29:22.59 that no matter what you go through, 00:29:22.62\00:29:24.86 there's always hope. 00:29:24.89\00:29:26.63 Always hope in God. 00:29:26.70\00:29:29.20 The dark experiences you go through, 00:29:29.23\00:29:31.87 they're not the end of your story. 00:29:31.90\00:29:33.23 That's right. 00:29:33.27\00:29:34.60 But the continuation of your journey. 00:29:34.64\00:29:35.97 Yes. 00:29:36.00\00:29:37.34 I'm gonna use that not the end of your story, 00:29:37.41\00:29:38.74 but the continuation of your journey. 00:29:38.77\00:29:40.31 Yeah, there you go. I like that, thank you. 00:29:40.38\00:29:42.34 There's a song that you have here 00:29:42.38\00:29:43.78 that I wanna kinda have you tell me about 00:29:43.85\00:29:45.81 before we go into your involvement 00:29:45.85\00:29:47.98 in Child Impact International. 00:29:48.02\00:29:50.02 It's called Hen... 00:29:50.09\00:29:52.19 Hineni. Hineni. 00:29:52.22\00:29:53.56 Thank you. What is that song about? 00:29:53.59\00:29:55.32 Hineni is a Hebrew word meaning 'Here am I,' 00:29:55.36\00:29:57.69 like when Isaiah said, "Here am I, send me". 00:29:57.73\00:29:59.76 Okay. 00:29:59.79\00:30:01.13 And this song just really resonates with the fact 00:30:01.16\00:30:05.00 that when, 00:30:05.03\00:30:07.14 in order to be the evangelistic God wants us to be. 00:30:07.17\00:30:12.07 We have to have a personal encounter with Him. 00:30:12.11\00:30:15.31 Many of us have to go through what Peter went through, 00:30:15.34\00:30:18.38 where we experience brokenness to realize 00:30:18.41\00:30:21.18 we're not as self-sufficient as we thought we were. 00:30:21.22\00:30:24.45 Or to be like Paul, 00:30:24.49\00:30:26.25 where we are stripped of our self 00:30:26.29\00:30:29.09 righteousness through a direct encounter with God, 00:30:29.12\00:30:33.23 but not only temporarily blinded Paul, 00:30:33.26\00:30:35.60 but humbled him spiritually. 00:30:35.63\00:30:38.30 As Ellen White says, in Acts of the Apostles, 00:30:38.33\00:30:40.44 he basically came humble like a little child 00:30:40.47\00:30:43.27 just from that one direct encounter with Jesus. 00:30:43.30\00:30:45.81 And we often need to have that experience 00:30:45.84\00:30:49.24 that wakes us up where we are broken 00:30:49.28\00:30:50.98 and our self-righteousness is stripped away from us. 00:30:51.01\00:30:55.42 Or Isaiah who, many of us experience God 00:30:55.45\00:31:00.96 through His Word, His perfect character 00:31:00.99\00:31:02.79 just as Isaiah saw Him in the temple. 00:31:02.82\00:31:05.93 And when Isaiah saw him in the temple, 00:31:05.96\00:31:08.36 he saw his own imperfection in contrast with Christ's 00:31:08.40\00:31:12.27 perfect character which is what we experience 00:31:12.30\00:31:14.90 as we are growing in Christ as we study His Word. 00:31:14.94\00:31:17.41 We see His perfect character in contrast with our own. 00:31:17.44\00:31:21.24 And when Isaiah cried 00:31:21.28\00:31:22.61 what was to me, for I am undone. 00:31:22.64\00:31:24.75 He experienced forgiveness, 00:31:24.78\00:31:26.51 he had that coal placed to his lips. 00:31:26.55\00:31:28.65 Wow. 00:31:28.68\00:31:30.02 You know, and when he experienced that forgiveness 00:31:30.09\00:31:32.05 when God said "You know who will go for us, 00:31:32.09\00:31:34.49 whom shall I send." 00:31:34.52\00:31:35.86 Isaiah would just out of joy of being forgiven said, 00:31:35.89\00:31:39.33 "Here am I, send me." Wow. 00:31:39.36\00:31:41.76 And the same with Peter. 00:31:41.80\00:31:43.23 He'd been forgiven, 00:31:43.26\00:31:44.60 and so he was just ready to go with the gospel 00:31:44.63\00:31:46.94 because he'd been forgiven of a very, very grievous sin, 00:31:46.97\00:31:50.21 a very hard fall. 00:31:50.24\00:31:52.21 And when we see ourselves as we really are 00:31:52.24\00:31:55.44 as wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked 00:31:55.48\00:31:58.18 not as the end of our spiritual experience 00:31:58.21\00:32:00.12 but the beginning. 00:32:00.15\00:32:01.48 That's right. 00:32:01.52\00:32:02.85 And we take hold of the righteousness of Christ 00:32:02.88\00:32:04.22 and we receive His healing in our lives, 00:32:04.29\00:32:07.06 His forgiveness, His victory. 00:32:07.09\00:32:09.19 We'll be ready to go like Isaiah was, 00:32:09.22\00:32:11.83 like the apostles were. 00:32:11.86\00:32:14.43 We will be able to say, "Hineni here am I, send me." 00:32:14.46\00:32:18.00 Wow. Yes. 00:38:32.24\00:38:33.58 We just really felt led, 00:38:33.61\00:38:36.18 I felt led to go in that direction 00:38:36.21\00:38:38.78 because I desire, you know, 00:38:38.81\00:38:41.35 I know many many blind children in other parts of the world 00:38:41.38\00:38:45.69 do not receive the education that I received. 00:38:45.72\00:38:49.42 And, you know, if someone told me in another country, 00:38:49.46\00:38:52.43 he said, "You know, where I come from, 00:38:52.46\00:38:54.30 people like you don't make it to their promised land. 00:38:54.33\00:38:57.17 They end up begging on the streets. 00:38:57.20\00:38:59.27 And so Child Impact International 00:38:59.30\00:39:02.47 is really special in that. 00:39:02.50\00:39:04.37 You know, there are many blind schools around the world, 00:39:04.41\00:39:07.11 but they're not public schools where you can just go for free. 00:39:07.18\00:39:10.15 I'm sure they cost money. 00:39:10.18\00:39:11.51 I've never attended one 00:39:11.55\00:39:12.88 so I don't know how much they cost. 00:39:12.91\00:39:14.42 But what makes the Child Impact International blind school 00:39:14.45\00:39:18.75 in India very special 00:39:18.79\00:39:20.76 is that the families are not charged, 00:39:20.79\00:39:22.66 the children are sponsored. 00:39:22.69\00:39:24.06 I am actually sponsoring a student there. 00:39:24.13\00:39:25.79 Okay. 00:39:25.83\00:39:27.20 And they come from very poor families 00:39:27.23\00:39:28.83 and in that culture, 00:39:28.86\00:39:30.30 in that community, 00:39:30.37\00:39:32.60 blindness is considered a curse. 00:39:32.63\00:39:35.30 They are considered outcasts, 00:39:35.34\00:39:38.04 one of the boys at the school now lives as an orphan 00:39:38.07\00:39:42.31 because his father rejected him 00:39:42.34\00:39:44.35 after his mother died and he remarried. 00:39:44.38\00:39:47.62 Another little girl at the school 00:39:47.65\00:39:49.02 was actually found chained to a pole 00:39:49.05\00:39:51.55 in her family's basement and unable to speak 00:39:51.59\00:39:55.29 because her parents were ashamed of her 00:39:55.32\00:39:57.43 and didn't know how to cope. 00:39:57.46\00:39:59.56 Didn't take her long though 00:39:59.59\00:40:00.93 before she was singing songs about Jesus 00:40:00.96\00:40:03.20 and both children are thriving at the school. 00:40:03.23\00:40:07.34 There are over a 120 students there ranging 00:40:07.37\00:40:09.87 from little to teenagers. 00:40:09.90\00:40:13.38 Yes. 00:40:13.41\00:40:14.74 And many of them have accepted Jesus and been baptized, 00:40:14.78\00:40:17.65 and are sharing the gospel with their family. 00:40:17.68\00:40:20.22 Wow. 00:40:20.25\00:40:21.58 And so I just that school 00:40:21.62\00:40:22.95 just really has a special place in my heart 00:40:22.98\00:40:24.55 because I have a passion 00:40:24.59\00:40:27.06 for ministering to people with special needs. 00:40:27.09\00:40:30.43 And so I'm thankful 00:40:30.46\00:40:31.89 that God has opened the door for me to benefit them 00:40:31.93\00:40:36.13 in any way that I can and to have that purpose 00:40:36.16\00:40:39.50 of doing what I can for them. 00:40:39.53\00:40:40.87 We're actually trying to raise $25,000 for the school 00:40:40.94\00:40:44.94 because believe me, 00:40:44.97\00:40:46.31 the equipment needed to educate blind children is not cheap. 00:40:46.34\00:40:49.01 Oh, yeah. 00:40:49.04\00:40:50.38 It's extremely expensive. 00:40:50.45\00:40:51.78 The only way 00:40:51.81\00:40:53.15 I've been able to have what I need is while in school 00:40:53.18\00:40:55.15 from the school district as the young adult 00:40:55.18\00:40:56.92 state services for the blind when I was in training. 00:40:56.99\00:40:59.85 And the only reason I have my computer 00:40:59.89\00:41:01.79 and screen reader now is through Go Fund Me campaign. 00:41:01.82\00:41:04.69 A friend helped me promote. 00:41:04.73\00:41:06.19 It's not cheap 00:41:06.23\00:41:07.60 and so they're very much in need of financial help 00:41:07.63\00:41:10.40 for equipment, for mattresses for the dorms... 00:41:10.47\00:41:12.73 That's right. 00:41:12.77\00:41:14.14 So a lot of money involved there 00:41:14.17\00:41:15.50 and so we're wanting to do. 00:41:15.54\00:41:16.87 We wanna raise at least 25,000. 00:41:16.91\00:41:18.24 We're doing benefit programs for the school, 00:41:18.27\00:41:20.31 at churches around the US. 00:41:20.38\00:41:22.44 And I'm glad to hear 00:41:22.48\00:41:23.85 that because my wife and I went to India, 00:41:23.88\00:41:25.71 we went to the blind school. 00:41:25.75\00:41:27.12 Yeah. 00:41:27.15\00:41:28.48 So I know firsthand what you're talking about... 00:41:28.52\00:41:29.85 Right. It's amazing. 00:41:29.88\00:41:31.22 Yeah. That's where... 00:41:31.25\00:41:32.59 Oh, the phrase they have "Other-abled." 00:41:32.62\00:41:33.96 Other-abled. Other-abled. 00:41:33.99\00:41:35.32 I hadn't heard that one before. 00:41:35.36\00:41:36.69 I heard differently-abled but I never heard other-abled. 00:41:36.73\00:41:38.06 Yeah. 00:41:38.09\00:41:39.43 And the director of the blind school 00:41:39.46\00:41:40.80 at the time mentioned that. 00:41:40.83\00:41:42.16 But the song 00:41:42.20\00:41:44.00 that I like to feature this time 00:41:44.07\00:41:45.40 before we talk about some of the ministry needs 00:41:45.43\00:41:47.04 that you have is a song "This Day." 00:41:47.07\00:41:50.11 Give us a little preview on that? 00:41:50.14\00:41:52.04 Well, I've learned through past experiences in my life, 00:41:52.07\00:41:55.71 mistakes that I've made with people in the past, 00:41:55.74\00:41:58.78 that when someone comes into your life, 00:41:58.81\00:42:01.72 there is only a window of opportunity 00:42:01.75\00:42:04.42 to minister to that person. 00:42:04.45\00:42:06.99 And when that window is closed, 00:42:07.06\00:42:08.69 we may not get another chance. 00:42:08.72\00:42:11.29 And we are very, very close 00:42:11.33\00:42:13.93 to the end of this earth's history. 00:42:14.00\00:42:15.86 We only have so much time to do the work 00:42:15.90\00:42:19.50 that God has called us to do, like when Jesus said, 00:42:19.53\00:42:22.24 when he was on this earth, 00:42:22.27\00:42:23.61 you know, I need to work while it's day, 00:42:23.64\00:42:25.54 the night cometh when no man can work. 00:42:25.57\00:42:28.24 That's where we are at again. 00:42:28.28\00:42:30.65 And, we don't have time now to engage 00:42:30.68\00:42:34.78 in frivolous conversation or worldly entertainment 00:42:34.82\00:42:38.55 or idleness or just doing our own thing 00:42:38.59\00:42:41.32 and conforming to the ways of the world. 00:42:41.36\00:42:43.53 We live in time that's far too serious for that. 00:42:43.56\00:42:46.80 And I know for me and all of us as God's people, 00:42:46.83\00:42:49.33 we need to be seeking Him to reveal to us, 00:42:49.36\00:42:52.27 to give us discernment for the divine appointments 00:42:52.30\00:42:56.24 that He is placing in our paths that we will see them, 00:42:56.27\00:42:59.57 that we will immediately act upon them 00:42:59.61\00:43:02.01 before it's too late 00:43:02.04\00:43:03.38 for that person and ultimately too late for our world. 00:43:03.45\00:43:05.78 That's right. 00:43:05.81\00:43:07.15 So that's why we have to do it this day. 00:43:07.22\00:43:08.55 Yes. 00:43:08.58\00:43:09.92 Listen to this song of ministry reminding us of the urgency 00:43:09.95\00:43:13.02 of the hour in which we live. 00:43:13.05\00:43:14.62 This day is fragile 00:43:40.42\00:43:46.09 Soon it will end 00:43:46.12\00:43:50.96 And once it has vanished 00:43:50.99\00:43:56.43 It will not come again 00:43:56.46\00:44:02.30 So let us love 00:44:02.34\00:44:07.08 With a love pure and strong 00:44:07.11\00:44:12.88 Before this day 00:44:12.91\00:44:17.59 Is gone 00:44:17.62\00:44:21.72 This day is fleeting 00:44:29.10\00:44:34.24 When it slips away 00:44:34.27\00:44:38.94 Not all our money 00:44:38.97\00:44:43.45 Can buy back this day 00:44:43.48\00:44:49.05 So let us pray 00:44:49.08\00:44:53.66 That we might be a friend 00:44:53.69\00:44:59.59 Before this day 00:44:59.63\00:45:03.77 Is spent 00:45:03.80\00:45:09.37 This day 00:45:09.40\00:45:13.21 When given is golden 00:45:13.24\00:45:18.78 Let us 00:45:18.81\00:45:23.59 Show love 00:45:23.62\00:45:28.46 This day 00:45:28.49\00:45:32.49 Is ours for one moment 00:45:32.53\00:45:39.30 Let us 00:45:39.33\00:45:44.84 Sow love 00:45:44.87\00:45:52.58 This day is frail 00:45:52.61\00:45:57.95 It will pass by 00:45:57.99\00:46:02.79 So before it's too late 00:46:02.82\00:46:07.83 To recapture the time 00:46:07.86\00:46:14.07 Let us share love 00:46:14.14\00:46:19.21 Let us share God 00:46:19.24\00:46:25.38 Before this day 00:46:25.41\00:46:30.89 Is gone 00:46:30.92\00:46:35.06 Before this day 00:46:42.93\00:46:47.64 Is gone 00:46:47.67\00:46:55.01 Thank you so much for that song, 00:47:17.80\00:47:19.13 Stephanie, "This Day." 00:47:19.17\00:47:21.30 Now let's talk briefly within the time we have remaining. 00:47:21.34\00:47:23.74 First of all, I know you have CD Projects. 00:47:23.81\00:47:26.54 Talk about some of those?
