It's vitally important. 00:02:08.36\00:02:11.39 And that's why we're here today to express 00:02:11.43\00:02:13.70 how vitally important this program is 00:02:13.73\00:02:16.53 both for men and women. 00:02:16.56\00:02:17.90 Absolutely. 00:02:17.93\00:02:19.27 And seeing that we're ladies here, and we have another lady 00:02:19.30\00:02:21.34 we're going to introduce to you. 00:02:21.37\00:02:23.30 And we have a gentleman because we need to clearly 00:02:23.34\00:02:25.27 round some things out a bit here so, 00:02:25.31\00:02:27.61 but we're talking specifically today on women and finances. 00:02:27.64\00:02:30.41 But I know, Jason, you have a great deal 00:02:30.45\00:02:31.98 of insight to share into that as well. 00:02:32.01\00:02:34.08 But we have Nancy O'Brien, 00:02:34.12\00:02:36.69 who I used to work with at the school. 00:02:36.72\00:02:38.89 Nancy, how many years? 00:02:38.92\00:02:40.26 We worked together 10 years at least it seems like. 00:02:40.29\00:02:41.92 Oh, at least. 00:02:41.96\00:02:43.29 I was there 14 years and you were there 00:02:43.32\00:02:44.96 most of those years. 00:02:44.99\00:02:46.63 You are our principal, our first principal 00:02:46.66\00:02:49.13 at the Thompsonville Christian School. 00:02:49.16\00:02:51.00 That was '99, you came, I'm trying to remember... 00:02:51.03\00:02:53.23 That's when the school opened '99. 00:02:53.27\00:02:54.64 Yeah, yeah. 00:02:54.67\00:02:56.00 And then you transition to the Plan Giving 00:02:56.04\00:02:58.21 and Trust Services Department. 00:02:58.24\00:02:59.57 Now you are a Trust Officer. 00:02:59.61\00:03:01.04 And when did that transition happen? 00:03:01.08\00:03:03.24 2013 is when I left the classroom 00:03:03.28\00:03:06.28 with the smaller children and came to Plan Giving 00:03:06.31\00:03:08.95 and Trust Services, I work with the older. 00:03:08.98\00:03:13.02 We've been blessed to have her too. 00:03:13.05\00:03:15.66 She is absolutely marvelous with our clients. 00:03:15.69\00:03:19.16 She can chat with them, she can present things... 00:03:19.19\00:03:21.50 I have great people calling. 00:03:21.53\00:03:22.86 And she's great at praying for their needs. 00:03:22.90\00:03:25.47 Amen. Amen. 00:03:25.50\00:03:26.84 I love that about the Plan Giving 00:03:26.87\00:03:28.20 and Trust Services Department. 00:03:28.24\00:03:29.64 Nancy, Earleane, you're the same way. 00:03:29.67\00:03:32.04 Each person there has a heart for you, 00:03:32.07\00:03:34.48 which is our 3ABN family. 00:03:34.51\00:03:36.31 And that really comes across when you talk on the phone, 00:03:36.34\00:03:39.11 you want someone to pray with you, 00:03:39.15\00:03:41.12 and someone to advise you, and to help you 00:03:41.15\00:03:43.82 with these matters, that's vitally important. 00:03:43.85\00:03:45.82 Yeah, you're right. 00:03:45.85\00:03:47.19 And sitting next to you is Jason Bergmann, 00:03:47.22\00:03:49.32 who's our CFO at 3ABN. 00:03:49.36\00:03:52.73 And in addition, you also happen to be a Trust Officer. 00:03:52.76\00:03:55.80 I know that's not your role here per say, 00:03:55.83\00:03:57.40 but you also do that as well. 00:03:57.43\00:03:58.83 Yeah. 00:03:58.87\00:04:00.20 It's been almost 24 years 00:04:00.24\00:04:02.07 as a Trust Officer in the church. 00:04:02.10\00:04:03.81 And coming here, a little different role, 00:04:03.84\00:04:05.91 but it's been a blessing as well. 00:04:05.94\00:04:07.88 And I love to be a part of 3ABN, 00:04:07.91\00:04:10.81 and the stewardship of God's money. 00:04:10.85\00:04:13.52 Amen. Absolutely. 00:04:13.55\00:04:15.42 So before we jump in to women, especially in money, 00:04:15.45\00:04:19.25 tell us why is stewardship even important, Jason? 00:04:19.29\00:04:21.62 You know, stewardship is a way for us to build relationship 00:04:21.66\00:04:24.79 with Jesus, and also our brothers and sisters. 00:04:24.83\00:04:27.40 It's all about building relationship 00:04:27.43\00:04:29.66 and getting ready for Jesus to come. 00:04:29.70\00:04:31.97 And He's entrusted us with His resources to us. 00:04:32.00\00:04:36.24 And that's what a steward is. 00:04:36.27\00:04:37.61 It's basically a manager of resources. 00:04:37.64\00:04:40.51 And we're here to just use the resources God has given us, 00:04:40.54\00:04:45.18 not necessarily for us, but for others to glorify God. 00:04:45.21\00:04:49.85 Amen. Amen. 00:04:49.88\00:04:51.22 Absolutely. And we want that. 00:04:51.25\00:04:52.62 We wanna be good stewards of time. 00:04:52.65\00:04:55.92 That's right. Talents. 00:04:55.96\00:04:57.49 That's right. 00:04:57.53\00:04:58.86 Treasure, which we're talking about today, right? 00:04:58.89\00:05:00.66 All those are vitally important. 00:05:00.70\00:05:02.16 Yes, they are. So... 00:05:02.20\00:05:04.57 Being a good steward in everything we do. 00:05:04.60\00:05:08.17 Because when you find the smallest things 00:05:08.20\00:05:10.71 to be a good steward in, when the big projects 00:05:10.74\00:05:13.44 come along, you're ready to face it. 00:05:13.48\00:05:15.51 That's right. Absolutely. 00:05:15.54\00:05:16.88 We need to even teach our children. 00:05:16.91\00:05:18.41 That's right. Yes, yes. 00:05:18.45\00:05:19.78 So let's talk just a moment about women and money. 00:05:19.81\00:05:22.18 Now it's a good thing for women sitting here 00:05:22.22\00:05:24.02 talking about this. 00:05:24.05\00:05:25.39 Go ahead. Let's hear what you have. 00:05:25.42\00:05:27.09 Because we could say, you could be saying, 00:05:27.12\00:05:29.12 "Well, why are you talking about that?" 00:05:29.16\00:05:30.96 But I'm a woman so I guess maybe that helps. 00:05:30.99\00:05:33.26 They say men buy and woman shop. 00:05:33.29\00:05:36.16 Have you heard that before? 00:05:36.20\00:05:37.53 So men say, "I'm going in. I'm getting this item." 00:05:37.57\00:05:40.47 And we kind of go in maybe we take our time, 00:05:40.50\00:05:43.00 go through the store. 00:05:43.04\00:05:44.37 Now this is an over generalization 00:05:44.41\00:05:45.77 because there's some women... 00:05:45.81\00:05:47.14 I don't know, I feel like you're talking about me. 00:05:47.18\00:05:48.81 Okay. Okay. 00:05:48.84\00:05:51.78 That's what we do. 00:05:51.81\00:05:53.15 Now, I looked up some statistics that single men 00:05:53.18\00:05:57.19 spend more on food than woman. 00:05:57.22\00:06:01.52 Okay. 00:06:01.56\00:06:02.89 But you can guess who spends more on clothing, 00:06:02.92\00:06:05.03 make a guess? 00:06:05.06\00:06:06.39 Women? Yes. 00:06:06.43\00:06:08.93 On clothes, personal care products that type of stuff. 00:06:08.96\00:06:12.27 How about shoes? That would fall with clothes. 00:06:12.30\00:06:14.34 That with the cloths? Okay. Okay. 00:06:14.37\00:06:16.24 I think so. Now what about cars? 00:06:16.27\00:06:17.91 What do you think about cars? Oh, men. 00:06:17.94\00:06:20.31 He's looking real serious. 00:06:20.34\00:06:21.68 Yeah, I think guys really like, although I've seen both. 00:06:21.71\00:06:25.95 Yeah. I... 00:06:25.98\00:06:27.32 Statistically, the website at least 00:06:27.35\00:06:29.22 I looked at and you know, 00:06:29.25\00:06:30.59 websites can be a little different, 00:06:30.62\00:06:31.95 but it said that men usually spend a little more 00:06:31.99\00:06:33.92 on cars than women. 00:06:33.96\00:06:35.29 Yeah. What about entertainment? 00:06:35.32\00:06:36.66 You didn't know, you gonna be quizzed today? 00:06:39.36\00:06:40.70 Equal. It is equal. 00:06:40.73\00:06:42.43 Good job, Nancy. 00:06:42.46\00:06:44.53 Especially for married couples, 00:06:44.57\00:06:45.90 you kind of doing that together. 00:06:45.93\00:06:47.34 Yes. 00:06:47.37\00:06:48.70 And you can decide whether you wanna spend more 00:06:48.74\00:06:50.74 or if maybe now's it's time to pull back 00:06:50.77\00:06:53.14 on so much of that. 00:06:53.17\00:06:54.51 Yes. Absolutely. 00:06:54.54\00:06:55.88 That's good stewardship. Yeah. 00:06:55.91\00:06:57.25 It is good stewardship. 00:06:57.28\00:06:58.61 So if we think about investing, they say, by and large, 00:06:58.65\00:07:01.32 do you think men or women 00:07:01.35\00:07:02.68 show more interest in investing? 00:07:02.72\00:07:04.42 Oh, men. 00:07:04.45\00:07:05.79 Yeah, I think so. Absolutely. 00:07:05.82\00:07:08.76 They said, the disparity between the sexes decreases 00:07:08.79\00:07:12.73 with millennials. 00:07:12.76\00:07:14.10 So younger women would show more interest 00:07:14.13\00:07:16.50 in investing then maybe older women. 00:07:16.53\00:07:18.77 But still it's very... There's a vast difference. 00:07:18.80\00:07:22.47 36% of millennial women say, 00:07:22.50\00:07:24.51 they enjoy managing their investments. 00:07:24.54\00:07:26.68 70% of millennial men enjoy managing their investments. 00:07:26.71\00:07:31.08 Now the older you get, the wider that disparity 00:07:31.11\00:07:34.05 would even get, but that's pretty wide in itself. 00:07:34.08\00:07:36.95 Statistically, men would know more about investing, 00:07:36.99\00:07:39.75 men are more confident with money. 00:07:39.79\00:07:42.86 In fact, the director at TD Ameritrade said that 00:07:42.89\00:07:47.10 69% of her firm's individual accounts 00:07:47.13\00:07:49.90 are held by men instead of women. 00:07:49.93\00:07:52.53 However, if they look at women who do invest versus men 00:07:52.57\00:07:55.74 who invest, women look more at the long term. 00:07:55.77\00:07:57.81 Yeah. 00:07:57.84\00:07:59.17 They're looking at putting their kids through college. 00:07:59.21\00:08:01.18 They wanna make sure the mortgage is paid off. 00:08:01.21\00:08:03.65 They want to save for retirement. 00:08:03.68\00:08:06.72 Men, by and large might do a more risky investment, 00:08:06.75\00:08:10.02 where women wants something stable, 00:08:10.05\00:08:11.92 they wanna make sure they're taken care of. 00:08:11.95\00:08:14.29 And if you think about life expectancy, 00:08:14.32\00:08:17.53 in developed countries, traditionally women 00:08:17.56\00:08:20.60 would live longer than men. 00:08:20.63\00:08:22.63 They might live to 79 years of age, 00:08:22.66\00:08:24.70 a man might live 72 years. 00:08:24.73\00:08:27.07 Less developed countries, of course, 00:08:27.10\00:08:28.64 the life expectancy is vast, 00:08:28.67\00:08:30.74 it's less, you know, it diminishes. 00:08:30.77\00:08:32.57 But yet still women would live longer than men. 00:08:32.61\00:08:34.88 So why are we saying all these things? 00:08:34.91\00:08:36.95 Why is it important? 00:08:36.98\00:08:38.35 Why do you all think it's important that 00:08:38.38\00:08:41.58 we talk about investments with women? 00:08:41.62\00:08:44.12 Why do women even need to be 00:08:44.15\00:08:45.59 concerned with finances and investments? 00:08:45.62\00:08:48.32 Right. 00:08:48.36\00:08:49.69 And some of that starts with just starting to understand 00:08:49.72\00:08:53.60 what your husband has planned. 00:08:53.63\00:08:56.50 I think about a story that woman didn't realize 00:08:56.53\00:09:01.84 how much her husband had actually put away for her. 00:09:01.87\00:09:05.71 And when she started to realize, you know, 00:09:05.74\00:09:09.01 I really do have something put away, 00:09:09.04\00:09:11.18 but it wasn't because I did it, it's because he did it for me, 00:09:11.21\00:09:14.85 and I need to carry this on. 00:09:14.88\00:09:16.99 And be able to leave something for my children, 00:09:17.02\00:09:19.15 my church, my family. 00:09:19.19\00:09:21.32 And women get into thinking about that. 00:09:21.36\00:09:24.06 Yeah. Absolutely. 00:09:24.09\00:09:25.59 You know, I look at it 00:09:25.63\00:09:27.06 as if women are gonna be living longer, 00:09:27.10\00:09:29.06 they're gonna be ending up with the money. 00:09:29.10\00:09:30.83 So even though the guys may be managing, 00:09:30.87\00:09:33.13 I think it should be a good relationship pair 00:09:33.17\00:09:36.27 kind of working through things together. 00:09:36.30\00:09:38.17 But at the end, it's gonna be the... 00:09:38.21\00:09:39.77 the women are gonna be managing the money. 00:09:39.81\00:09:41.78 That's right. 00:09:41.81\00:09:43.14 The guy, poor guys are gonna be, 00:09:43.18\00:09:45.28 you know, leaving everything, you know, leaving life 00:09:45.31\00:09:48.02 and leaving everything to their spouse, 00:09:48.05\00:09:49.82 which I have great confidence 00:09:49.85\00:09:51.19 in my wife in using the money wisely. 00:09:51.22\00:09:54.26 But, yeah, it's really important 00:09:54.29\00:09:55.79 for women to start thinking 00:09:55.82\00:09:57.33 about these things while your mental state is crisp, 00:09:57.36\00:10:01.96 and you're able to see what the family is trying 00:10:02.00\00:10:05.47 to do with the resources. 00:10:05.50\00:10:07.10 I wanna play on that, while your mind is crisp. 00:10:07.14\00:10:11.57 If you're not thinking about it now while you're young 00:10:11.61\00:10:14.58 and your mind is crisp, you might be almost too late, 00:10:14.61\00:10:18.68 but not, give us a call. 00:10:18.71\00:10:20.62 That's right. 00:10:20.65\00:10:21.98 But it is very important that we get involved with this 00:10:22.02\00:10:25.19 while our minds are young. 00:10:25.22\00:10:26.86 The statistics of Alzheimer's has gotten out of control. 00:10:26.89\00:10:31.73 That's right. That is a big issue. 00:10:31.76\00:10:35.56 Even if we only get into the senile stage, 00:10:35.60\00:10:38.73 let's make our plans early enough. 00:10:38.77\00:10:40.84 So that we are in a team not just as a family, 00:10:40.87\00:10:44.64 but with God also. 00:10:44.67\00:10:46.04 Absolutely. We must make our plans. 00:10:46.07\00:10:48.24 Absolutely. Right, right. 00:10:48.28\00:10:49.61 I know, my husband has taught finances for years 00:10:49.64\00:10:53.05 and as to me it's boring. 00:10:53.08\00:10:54.62 So I just tuned them out. 00:10:54.65\00:10:56.25 And then it wasn't until I started working with 00:10:56.28\00:10:58.45 thanksgiving and I realized oh, 00:10:58.49\00:11:00.46 you know, I don't really know too much about this, 00:11:00.49\00:11:02.19 this is really new and this is important to know. 00:11:02.22\00:11:05.09 That's right. 00:11:05.13\00:11:06.46 And so I think maybe women of my age and older, 00:11:06.49\00:11:09.50 that's the way we were was. 00:11:09.53\00:11:10.97 The men handled all the finances, 00:11:11.00\00:11:13.23 the women handled the home and the children and left us 00:11:13.27\00:11:17.87 not knowing a lot about finances. 00:11:17.91\00:11:19.67 But I think it's good that, you know, the younger you are 00:11:19.71\00:11:22.21 just getting a taste of the finances, 00:11:22.24\00:11:25.08 it gives you that confidence level. 00:11:25.11\00:11:26.58 So when you get older, you know, 00:11:26.61\00:11:28.22 you're not stressed out 00:11:28.25\00:11:29.58 and, you know, the older we get, 00:11:29.62\00:11:30.95 we don't wanna be stressed out, we want to know 00:11:30.99\00:11:33.19 what's happening, when it's gonna happen, 00:11:33.22\00:11:34.96 at what time. 00:11:34.99\00:11:36.32 So we just feel comfortable in living more 00:11:36.36\00:11:38.53 of a comfortable life. 00:11:38.56\00:11:39.89 But finances are a huge part of everything that we do. 00:11:39.93\00:11:42.86 And to know about it beforehand is a helpful way to, 00:11:42.90\00:11:46.70 you know, live out your life in a way that is comfortable. 00:11:46.74\00:11:49.34 Right. 00:11:49.37\00:11:50.71 And even with our youngest families, 00:11:50.74\00:11:53.38 it's so important that mom and dad gather around 00:11:53.41\00:11:56.61 that dining room table, pull your children into you 00:11:56.64\00:11:59.91 and start teaching them about tithing, 00:11:59.95\00:12:02.58 about true stewardship, and help them understand 00:12:02.62\00:12:05.69 what their plan is with their Heavenly Father. 00:12:05.72\00:12:07.49 Amen. 00:12:07.52\00:12:08.86 You're starting a good base for them. 00:12:08.89\00:12:10.23 Amen. Amen. 00:12:10.26\00:12:11.59 That's right. Yeah. Absolutely. 00:12:11.63\00:12:12.96 So whether you are single, 00:12:12.99\00:12:15.93 or married, or divorced, 00:12:15.96\00:12:19.20 or widowed, or part of a blended family, 00:12:19.23\00:12:23.77 each one of those situations 00:12:23.81\00:12:25.64 we find ourself in life is different. 00:12:25.67\00:12:29.14 But finances is something that's vitally important 00:12:29.18\00:12:32.31 because it's important to plan for the future. 00:12:32.35\00:12:35.08 Yes. 00:12:35.12\00:12:36.45 It's important that your family members, 00:12:36.48\00:12:39.75 if you have children, you know, to plan for. 00:12:39.79\00:12:41.89 Oh, I wanna provide for my children. 00:12:41.92\00:12:44.26 And I wanna provide for the Lord's work. 00:12:44.29\00:12:47.33 Right. 00:12:47.36\00:12:48.70 And I want to help know that after I pass away 00:12:48.73\00:12:52.77 that those funds will go to support 00:12:52.80\00:12:55.77 the spreading of the gospel here at the ministry of 3ABN 00:12:55.80\00:12:59.37 and also a certain percentage you can choose beneficiaries 00:12:59.41\00:13:02.64 and where you want those funds to go 00:13:02.68\00:13:04.51 to family members 00:13:04.55\00:13:05.88 or what you want to do with that. 00:13:05.91\00:13:07.25 So it gives peace of mind, I think to have that. 00:13:07.28\00:13:09.08 Yes. Yeah. 00:13:09.12\00:13:10.45 And I'm gonna go back to what you said 00:13:10.49\00:13:11.82 about blended families. 00:13:11.85\00:13:13.52 I encourage everyone, blended family, 00:13:13.56\00:13:16.22 or your birth children. 00:13:16.26\00:13:19.26 It's important to include all of them, 00:13:19.29\00:13:21.10 if you've already been a family. 00:13:21.13\00:13:22.53 That's right. 00:13:22.56\00:13:23.90 Think about taking care of the future 00:13:23.93\00:13:25.97 of your children as well. 00:13:26.00\00:13:27.94 Do not anger your children, 00:13:27.97\00:13:30.31 because you only will drive them away from God. 00:13:30.34\00:13:32.61 That's right. 00:13:32.64\00:13:33.98 Plan now that you're going to work with everyone, 00:13:34.01\00:13:36.31 and they're all gonna be in your family 00:13:36.34\00:13:38.71 when you get to the kingdom. 00:13:38.75\00:13:40.08 That's right. Absolutely. 00:13:40.12\00:13:41.48 So, Jason, talk to us a bit about stewardship here, 00:13:41.52\00:13:43.72 before I know we got a lot of different documents. 00:13:43.75\00:13:46.25 And we wanna talk about that. 00:13:46.29\00:13:47.62 So you are better equipped to know what the choices are. 00:13:47.66\00:13:50.73 And you can always call our 00:13:50.76\00:13:52.16 Plan Giving and Trust Services Department, 00:13:52.19\00:13:53.93 and they would be happy to walk you through that. 00:13:53.96\00:13:55.83 But before we jump into that, talk to us about stewardship. 00:13:55.86\00:13:57.30 Sure. 00:13:57.33\00:13:58.67 So, you know, I shared a little bit about 00:13:58.70\00:14:01.44 stewardship in a previous session. 00:14:01.47\00:14:05.61 But stewardship, the way I look at it 00:14:05.64\00:14:07.58 is building relationships 00:14:07.61\00:14:09.54 and helping understand what our responsibility is 00:14:09.58\00:14:14.08 with God's resources. 00:14:14.12\00:14:15.95 And if you look at, you know, we have a Trust Department, 00:14:15.98\00:14:18.95 and we're entrusted with God's resources. 00:14:18.99\00:14:22.79 Now, it's not all about money. 00:14:22.82\00:14:25.13 You know, it could be like you said, it's about our time, 00:14:25.16\00:14:27.73 it's about our talents. 00:14:27.76\00:14:29.20 God has given each one of us talents. 00:14:29.23\00:14:31.73 And we are responsible to use those talents, 00:14:31.77\00:14:34.84 not for us, but to glorify God. 00:14:34.87\00:14:37.61 And that is critical, I think, and that's all about 00:14:37.64\00:14:40.58 stewardship, because once we understand that 00:14:40.61\00:14:43.35 we are managers of what God has given us... 00:14:43.38\00:14:45.91 Yes. 00:14:45.95\00:14:47.28 It really gives us a new view 00:14:47.32\00:14:49.62 of what our responsibilities are. 00:14:49.65\00:14:52.22 How it is very important to utilize what God has given us, 00:14:52.25\00:14:57.56 and the time that He's given us to use those resources. 00:14:57.59\00:15:01.50 And, you know, it's a good responsibility. 00:15:01.53\00:15:05.03 It's an important responsibility that, 00:15:05.07\00:15:07.24 you know, the Lord could have said, 00:15:07.27\00:15:08.60 "You know, everything is Mine, 00:15:08.64\00:15:09.97 and I'll just give you a little piece." 00:15:10.01\00:15:11.41 But instead He's like, "I'm gonna give you everything, 00:15:11.44\00:15:15.04 but I want you to return back to Me, 00:15:15.08\00:15:17.75 back to your family, 00:15:17.78\00:15:19.25 back to others, what I've entrusted with you." 00:15:19.28\00:15:22.68 And what I found is the more that the Lord entrust us 00:15:22.72\00:15:27.56 and that we return to our brothers and sisters 00:15:27.59\00:15:30.89 and to our Heavenly Father, the more He gives us. 00:15:30.93\00:15:33.70 Yes. 00:15:33.73\00:15:35.06 So, you may have heard of LeTourneau. 00:15:35.10\00:15:38.50 He was an inventor of earth moving equipment 00:15:38.53\00:15:42.47 and he once quipped that, 00:15:42.50\00:15:47.48 "I shovel it into the Lord 00:15:47.51\00:15:49.41 and He shovels it back, 00:15:49.44\00:15:51.35 but the Lord has a bigger shovel." 00:15:51.38\00:15:53.15 Wonderful. 00:15:53.18\00:15:54.52 You know, what's interesting, he grew up poor, 00:15:54.55\00:15:56.89 but when he grew up and the Lord blessed him. 00:15:56.92\00:16:01.32 And, you know, Mr. LeTourneau 00:16:01.36\00:16:05.13 gave back to Lord and gave more back. 00:16:05.16\00:16:07.80 He was giving up to 90% of what he had back to the Lord. 00:16:07.83\00:16:13.34 And he had a lot of inventions. He became a very wealthy man. 00:16:13.37\00:16:18.31 Now, I can tell you in... 00:16:18.34\00:16:21.84 It seems like a universal rule. I haven't proved it. 00:16:21.88\00:16:24.91 But it seems even the ultra rich 00:16:24.95\00:16:26.68 will tell you that it's good to give at least 10% 00:16:26.72\00:16:29.98 of your estate to others or to ministries. 00:16:30.02\00:16:35.46 But I look at it as the Lord is the greatest investor. 00:16:35.49\00:16:39.33 Yes. 00:16:39.36\00:16:40.70 And when you look at the Lord being the investor, 00:16:40.73\00:16:43.80 He's entrusting us, so if we give more 00:16:43.83\00:16:47.34 a better return on His money to others, 00:16:47.37\00:16:50.51 what is He gonna do? 00:16:50.54\00:16:52.14 He may give us more. 00:16:52.17\00:16:54.31 He may give you more talent, if you provide more talent. 00:16:54.34\00:16:57.31 It's kind of like the Holy Spirit, 00:16:57.35\00:16:59.65 when you have a glass of water and it's filled 00:16:59.68\00:17:02.38 and you do nothing with it, what's the water gonna be like? 00:17:02.42\00:17:05.32 It's going to be stagnant. 00:17:05.35\00:17:06.86 But if you pour it out, and you water the plants 00:17:06.89\00:17:10.83 or water others, or increase others, 00:17:10.86\00:17:15.10 guess who fills it up? 00:17:15.13\00:17:17.80 You know, it's our heavenly family. 00:17:17.83\00:17:19.17 Absolutely. 00:17:19.20\00:17:20.54 So when we do that, and we return and recycle 00:17:20.57\00:17:23.71 what the Lord's given us. 00:17:23.74\00:17:25.11 That's what stewardship is about. 00:17:25.14\00:17:26.91 It's not looking upon ourselves, 00:17:26.94\00:17:28.64 but it's looking to our brothers and sisters, 00:17:28.68\00:17:31.21 our family and our Heavenly Father. 00:17:31.25\00:17:33.38 I got a scripture here. 00:17:33.42\00:17:34.75 And just as you're talking about that, 00:17:34.78\00:17:36.12 I thought this was a scripture we had picked for the program. 00:17:36.15\00:17:39.19 I just told our producer, let's do this scripture. 00:17:39.22\00:17:42.06 And it fits perfectly. So I'm gonna read it here. 00:17:42.09\00:17:44.09 Luke 6:38, "Give, and it will be given to you: 00:17:44.13\00:17:48.56 good measure, pressed down, shaken together, 00:17:48.60\00:17:51.53 and running over will be put into your bosom. 00:17:51.57\00:17:54.64 For with the same measure that you use, 00:17:54.67\00:17:57.47 it will be measured back to you." 00:17:57.51\00:17:59.91 So what you're saying is we cannot outgive God. 00:17:59.94\00:18:02.54 Absolutely not. We cannot. 00:18:02.58\00:18:03.91 You know, and we need to be careful 00:18:03.95\00:18:06.41 because we get these thoughts that we can afford to give, 00:18:06.45\00:18:12.35 because it may affect, you know, our resources. 00:18:12.39\00:18:15.72 Now there's a balance. 00:18:15.76\00:18:17.09 But I think, I look it as the opposite. 00:18:17.13\00:18:19.76 We can afford not to give, because that's who we are. 00:18:19.79\00:18:23.57 That's how God made us to be able to share 00:18:23.60\00:18:26.94 the resources that are all His. 00:18:26.97\00:18:29.70 And that's a huge responsibility. 00:18:29.74\00:18:32.71 And I just praise the Lord that He's entrusted us 00:18:32.74\00:18:36.34 to partner with Him with His resources 00:18:36.38\00:18:39.55 to bless others and glorify God. 00:18:39.58\00:18:42.88 Amen. 00:18:42.92\00:18:44.25 And in saying that, Jason, I think that it's important 00:18:44.29\00:18:47.09 to remember too, God asks us to give 00:18:47.12\00:18:50.33 and get back to Him, but you can sometimes 00:18:50.36\00:18:52.56 get back to Him in the way 00:18:52.59\00:18:54.00 of providing for others as well. 00:18:54.03\00:18:56.36 Absolutely. 00:18:56.40\00:18:57.73 Your family, your church, where your kids 00:18:57.77\00:19:00.17 are attending school, Christian education, 00:19:00.20\00:19:03.34 that's all giving back to the Lord's work. 00:19:03.37\00:19:05.91 And I think we need to become very involved with seeing 00:19:05.94\00:19:08.98 what God wants us to do. 00:19:09.01\00:19:11.38 3ABN does that, let the phone ring 00:19:11.41\00:19:13.21 and we say, hello, 00:19:13.25\00:19:14.65 and could you just send me all your money, 00:19:14.68\00:19:16.05 that'd be just great. 00:19:16.08\00:19:17.42 We're not on to that. No. 00:19:17.45\00:19:18.82 We're here to help you plan what your family, your church, 00:19:18.85\00:19:21.59 your community, what God's called you to do. 00:19:21.62\00:19:24.59 You know, I look at 3ABN as a conduit to use resources, 00:19:24.63\00:19:28.70 to share it with millions of people around the world. 00:19:28.73\00:19:32.60 And how greater an opportunity with all the resources 00:19:32.63\00:19:36.10 that He has given us. 00:19:36.14\00:19:37.47 We can share it with 3ABN, and we'll take those resources 00:19:37.51\00:19:41.68 that you give us. 00:19:41.71\00:19:43.04 And we'll share that the good news of Jesus 00:19:43.08\00:19:45.45 coming to millions of people. 00:19:45.48\00:19:47.42 Amen. I mean, how awesome is that? 00:19:47.45\00:19:49.72 We don't always hear as many mission stories as we used to. 00:19:49.75\00:19:51.89 Yeah. 00:19:51.92\00:19:53.25 Remember when you sat and you listen to that 00:19:53.29\00:19:54.62 mission story every week? 00:19:54.66\00:19:56.02 And you were so excited because even the children's story 00:19:56.06\00:19:58.59 was the mission stories. 00:19:58.63\00:19:59.96 That's right. That was a great thing. 00:20:00.00\00:20:01.90 I was a missionaries' child. 00:20:01.93\00:20:03.97 I was on the other side of the ocean. 00:20:04.00\00:20:05.37 I was born and raised in India. 00:20:05.40\00:20:08.07 If it wasn't for the giving of the United States, 00:20:08.10\00:20:11.17 big portion at that time... 00:20:11.21\00:20:13.78 That's right. And now we're International. 00:20:13.81\00:20:15.58 That's right. Yes. 00:20:15.61\00:20:16.95 And we're huge. Yeah. 00:20:16.98\00:20:18.31 If it wasn't for that giving, the work of God couldn't go on 00:20:18.35\00:20:20.98 in other countries, either. 00:20:21.02\00:20:22.55 So God didn't call you just put it back 00:20:22.58\00:20:24.19 in the offering plate or just back over here. 00:20:24.22\00:20:26.22 That's right. Think about it. 00:20:26.25\00:20:27.72 What project would God want me to do? 00:20:27.76\00:20:30.33 Absolutely. 00:20:30.36\00:20:31.69 What can I do? And I'm very excited. 00:20:31.73\00:20:34.20 We just recently adopted our first little girl. 00:20:34.23\00:20:36.97 That's going to be our mission project. 00:20:37.00\00:20:38.77 And I got one from the very area 00:20:38.80\00:20:40.84 where my dad was the educational superintendent 00:20:40.87\00:20:43.74 in southern Asia. 00:20:43.77\00:20:45.11 She's now ours. And we're excited. 00:20:45.14\00:20:48.51 We're gonna do her education for her. 00:20:48.54\00:20:49.98 We promised to put her all the way through school. 00:20:50.01\00:20:51.98 Nice. We're excited about that. 00:20:52.01\00:20:54.55 So your money can go where God calls you to put it. 00:20:54.58\00:20:57.32 Absolutely. Right. 00:20:57.35\00:20:58.85 And you think about the ministry of 3ABN. 00:20:58.89\00:21:02.16 When you give to the ministry here, 00:21:02.19\00:21:04.49 the gospel is spread around the world. 00:21:04.53\00:21:07.20 I mean, what better avenue because you think about people 00:21:07.23\00:21:10.60 who are, you know, behind the closed doors 00:21:10.63\00:21:12.73 and if someone knocked on their door and said, 00:21:12.77\00:21:14.60 here's the tract, or I wanna give you a Bible study. 00:21:14.64\00:21:16.87 No, thank you. And you shut the door. 00:21:16.91\00:21:18.57 But yeah, the television can go where we literally cannot go. 00:21:18.61\00:21:22.78 So the ministry of 3ABN, God can use to reach people. 00:21:22.81\00:21:27.72 We hear stories every day... That's right. 00:21:27.75\00:21:29.88 From people who accepted Jesus or who walked into a church. 00:21:29.92\00:21:33.22 You know, because of hearing something on 3ABN. 00:21:33.25\00:21:36.12 So what if someone's... 00:21:36.16\00:21:37.49 This is a practical question, what if someone's my age, 00:21:37.53\00:21:40.30 I guess I'm past millennial, but a little bit pass, 00:21:40.33\00:21:43.37 not that much. 00:21:43.40\00:21:44.73 So what if someone's my age, 00:21:44.77\00:21:46.10 and they say, okay, what can I do? 00:21:46.13\00:21:49.34 Is there something I can do, Nancy, maybe what would 00:21:49.37\00:21:52.11 someone of my age be able to do? 00:21:52.14\00:21:54.78 Well, aside from what we've already talked 00:21:54.81\00:21:56.95 about giving to special projects. 00:21:56.98\00:21:59.55 We offer the trusts that they can put, 00:21:59.58\00:22:03.82 they can invest their money in and still be 00:22:03.85\00:22:06.19 able to use it if they need it. 00:22:06.22\00:22:07.89 Someone your age, you know, do you have more in the future, 00:22:07.92\00:22:11.33 probably than you do in the past. 00:22:11.36\00:22:12.99 So you still want to preserve 00:22:13.03\00:22:15.73 what you can or take care of yourself in the future, 00:22:15.76\00:22:18.10 or even if you're, you know, your spouse, 00:22:18.13\00:22:20.54 the children, whatever, maybe even your parents. 00:22:20.57\00:22:24.47 So what's the Cash Trust? 00:22:24.51\00:22:26.21 And what does that mean? What does that look like? 00:22:26.24\00:22:27.74 And... 00:22:27.78\00:22:29.11 Okay, a Cash Trust is kind of what it sounds like. 00:22:29.14\00:22:31.71 It's a trust that you put finances and your money in. 00:22:31.75\00:22:35.15 And there is... 00:22:35.18\00:22:36.72 It does have to be $10,000, if you're single, 00:22:36.75\00:22:39.05 this is a single account. 00:22:39.09\00:22:40.66 $20,000 if it's gonna be a joint account, 00:22:40.69\00:22:42.92 but it's invested and you earn an 00:22:42.96\00:22:45.79 interest payment from it. 00:22:45.83\00:22:47.43 And depending on the amount you put in, 00:22:47.46\00:22:50.80 you're gonna get a monthly interest payment 00:22:50.83\00:22:52.57 or a quarterly interest payment. 00:22:52.60\00:22:56.34 And right now, it's kind of interesting. 00:22:56.37\00:22:57.87 It's earning 4%, which is a whole lot better than, 00:22:57.91\00:23:00.78 you know, in a checking account or in a money market. 00:23:00.81\00:23:03.91 The other thing, what's great about a trust 00:23:03.95\00:23:05.81 is it's revocable. 00:23:05.85\00:23:07.38 So, you know, the life changing events happen. 00:23:07.42\00:23:10.45 So you can take that money back out, still, you know, 00:23:10.49\00:23:13.59 gain the interest, which is better than 00:23:13.62\00:23:15.19 a checking account. 00:23:15.22\00:23:16.56 But also this is more Cash Trust or I mean, 00:23:16.59\00:23:19.33 when you agree that it's more for a reserve account 00:23:19.36\00:23:22.93 for a future to utilize. 00:23:22.96\00:23:27.57 You know, you operate your daily activity, 00:23:27.60\00:23:30.01 you wanna keep that in your checking account. 00:23:30.04\00:23:31.91 But more for a savings or reserve account in the future, 00:23:31.94\00:23:35.84 I would think that a Cash Trust earning 00:23:35.88\00:23:37.81 4% currently right now is a great option, 00:23:37.85\00:23:40.95 a great investment tool for I would say 00:23:40.98\00:23:44.45 the 40s, maybe 50s. 00:23:44.49\00:23:47.72 But yeah, even in the 60s or 70s. 00:23:47.76\00:23:50.09 I think it's a great tool. 00:23:50.13\00:23:51.46 Or 20s? Or 20. 00:23:51.49\00:23:52.83 Someone in their 20s, says, hey, you know, 00:23:52.86\00:23:54.20 I have some money 00:23:54.23\00:23:55.56 and it's sitting in a checking account. 00:23:55.60\00:23:56.93 That's right. That's right. 00:23:56.97\00:23:58.30 It could be invested, it could be drawing interest. 00:23:58.33\00:23:59.93 And it's very safe. 00:23:59.97\00:24:01.84 And it's a great tool that all of us, you know, 00:24:01.87\00:24:06.91 whatever age group that you're in, 00:24:06.94\00:24:09.01 you can utilize this and, you know, be a blessing 00:24:09.04\00:24:12.45 and have a good interest rate where, you know, 00:24:12.48\00:24:14.72 you have saved money earning 4%, which that's a good rate, 00:24:14.75\00:24:19.62 especially in today's dollars and investing. 00:24:19.65\00:24:23.19 Excellent rate. 00:24:23.22\00:24:24.56 Excellent. Yeah. 00:24:24.59\00:24:25.93 I like to brag about how good it really is. 00:24:25.96\00:24:27.30 Yeah. 00:24:27.33\00:24:28.66 Because it feels good to talk about it. 00:24:28.70\00:24:30.43 Because we know, we're blessing your family. 00:24:30.47\00:24:34.04 And we are also blessing your giving possibilities. 00:24:34.07\00:24:37.37 That's right. 00:24:37.41\00:24:38.74 Because that interest can be accrued, 00:24:38.77\00:24:41.34 that interest can be taken by you and applied. 00:24:41.38\00:24:44.41 People are taking the interest 00:24:44.45\00:24:47.05 and turning it right back to 3ABN every month. 00:24:47.08\00:24:50.15 That's a blessing. That's a good thing. 00:24:50.19\00:24:52.29 And if you haven't decided to do that, give us a call 00:24:52.32\00:24:55.79 because we can arrange that for you. 00:24:55.82\00:24:58.09 And being able to get that donation right back 00:24:58.13\00:25:00.53 to 3ABN every month is a good plan. 00:25:00.56\00:25:03.83 God will bless you. 00:25:03.87\00:25:05.40 What's the Trust Service number and then, 00:25:05.43\00:25:06.77 well, I see you, Jason? 00:25:06.80\00:25:08.27 800-886-4800. 00:25:08.30\00:25:12.64 800-886-4800. 00:25:12.67\00:25:16.54 And somebody standing by even though we're missing. 00:25:16.58\00:25:20.42 You know, that's a great way for systematic giving. 00:25:20.45\00:25:23.75 When we think about systematic giving, 00:25:23.79\00:25:25.65 we hear about in our churches, but, you know, 00:25:25.69\00:25:27.99 3ABN is an organization that really appreciates 00:25:28.02\00:25:32.89 systematic giving. 00:25:32.93\00:25:34.30 These monthly donations that come in really help 00:25:34.33\00:25:38.07 in how we can provide good quality content 00:25:38.10\00:25:41.57 to share around the world about Jesus and His love for us, 00:25:41.60\00:25:45.11 and how we can share the good news. 00:25:45.14\00:25:46.88 So the kingdom of heaven can be grown by 00:25:46.91\00:25:49.84 what we do here and by your support. 00:25:49.88\00:25:52.08 Amen. 00:25:52.11\00:25:53.45 And then we have several people 00:25:53.48\00:25:54.82 that are doing that. 00:25:54.85\00:25:56.18 They're saying, okay, I want 10 or 15% every month 00:25:56.22\00:25:59.25 before you put in my interest, take 10 or 15%, 00:25:59.29\00:26:02.66 and give it to 3ABN. 00:26:02.69\00:26:04.46 And so it is a very systematic way of giving. 00:26:04.49\00:26:08.50 And they seem very happy about it, you know, 00:26:08.53\00:26:10.83 because they don't have to remember, 00:26:10.87\00:26:12.23 oh, I have to send another check this month. 00:26:12.27\00:26:13.60 That's right. That's right. Oh, of course. 00:26:13.64\00:26:15.64 So, I'm thinking nuts and bolts here. 00:26:15.67\00:26:18.04 If I have a Cash Trust, say, I'm a couple, I'm married, 00:26:18.07\00:26:20.88 we start with $20,000. 00:26:20.91\00:26:22.38 And then I say, a year down the line, 00:26:22.41\00:26:25.81 oh, I have a little more money and I wanna invest that, 00:26:25.85\00:26:28.65 can I add to it? 00:26:28.68\00:26:30.02 Yes. 00:26:30.05\00:26:31.39 And if so, is there dollar amount 00:26:31.42\00:26:32.75 or how does that work? 00:26:32.79\00:26:34.12 You can add any amount to it. 00:26:34.16\00:26:35.49 Once you have it established, the minimum has been paid, 00:26:35.52\00:26:37.03 you can add any amount. 00:26:37.06\00:26:38.39 And we have people that send in consistently 00:26:38.43\00:26:40.10 like $100 a month. 00:26:40.13\00:26:42.33 And others it's like maybe once every couple years, 00:26:42.36\00:26:44.73 they get like you said a little extra 00:26:44.77\00:26:46.10 and they put it into their Cash Trust. 00:26:46.13\00:26:48.00 And it's also as you said, revocable, 00:26:48.04\00:26:50.57 so we have people that call in and they'll say, 00:26:50.61\00:26:53.01 the storm blew my roof, part of my roof off. 00:26:53.04\00:26:56.11 Can I have some of the money back, you know, 00:26:56.14\00:26:57.91 and we say, oh, certainly. 00:26:57.95\00:26:59.28 You just have to put it in writing, 00:26:59.31\00:27:01.05 because you can't do anything with your money 00:27:01.08\00:27:03.08 unless you put it in writing. 00:27:03.12\00:27:05.05 And you can, you know, withdraw whatever you need to, 00:27:05.09\00:27:08.06 for those kinds of emergencies or unexpected expenses. 00:27:08.09\00:27:11.06 That's right. Absolutely. 00:27:11.09\00:27:12.43 How long does it take to get that? 00:27:12.46\00:27:13.86 If I put it in writing, do I have to wait 00:27:13.90\00:27:15.56 a month to get it? 00:27:15.60\00:27:16.93 How long does it take? 00:27:16.97\00:27:18.30 Well, once we receive the request, 00:27:18.33\00:27:19.67 as soon as it just takes a few days, 00:27:19.70\00:27:21.04 it depends on the amount if you're asking 00:27:21.07\00:27:22.47 for 300,000 back, it might take a little bit 00:27:22.50\00:27:24.47 longer than a couple days but... 00:27:24.51\00:27:26.17 You know, and what's good is if it's needed right away, 00:27:26.21\00:27:29.21 we're happy to wire the money. 00:27:29.24\00:27:30.71 We can ACH which is little, 00:27:30.75\00:27:33.31 it's less expensive to do an ACH, 00:27:33.35\00:27:35.85 which it takes two days in for that process. 00:27:35.88\00:27:38.95 But usually a turnaround time is within a week or less. 00:27:38.99\00:27:43.29 It's usually within a few days. 00:27:43.32\00:27:44.66 Yeah, we've had some within three days. 00:27:44.69\00:27:46.26 Yeah, absolutely. 00:27:46.29\00:27:47.63 Some banks are right on posting it 00:27:47.66\00:27:49.00 as soon as we release it. 00:27:49.03\00:27:50.47 And we release it as fast as we can... 00:27:50.50\00:27:53.10 Once we've gotten your written notice. 00:27:53.13\00:27:55.00 Your morning requests go faster than 00:27:55.04\00:27:56.77 your afternoon request. 00:27:56.81\00:27:58.14 Yes, of course. 00:27:58.17\00:27:59.51 And I love that because basically that's peace of mind. 00:27:59.54\00:28:01.31 Right. Yes. 00:28:01.34\00:28:02.68 It is, isn't it? 00:28:02.71\00:28:04.21 What about talk to us about another document, 00:28:04.25\00:28:06.18 what about CGAs, Charitable Gift Annuity? 00:28:06.21\00:28:08.65 Well, now the Charitable Gift Annuity 00:28:08.68\00:28:10.45 is a little bit different plan. 00:28:10.49\00:28:12.02 Okay. 00:28:12.05\00:28:13.39 Some people don't wanna have their money tied up 00:28:13.42\00:28:16.29 and can't get it back. 00:28:16.32\00:28:18.13 But don't worry about it. Remember, it's God's money. 00:28:18.16\00:28:20.80 So think about that while I tell you about 00:28:20.83\00:28:22.83 Charitable Gift Annuities. 00:28:22.86\00:28:24.57 It is God's money, and somewhere along 00:28:24.60\00:28:27.74 the line you have in your mindset, 00:28:27.77\00:28:30.47 I am going to give this to the Lord's work. 00:28:30.51\00:28:33.71 God gave it to me, now it's gonna be time 00:28:33.74\00:28:35.74 for me to give it to Him. 00:28:35.78\00:28:37.65 So you prepare the document. 00:28:37.68\00:28:40.18 And many people have done it, so they're not afraid of it. 00:28:40.22\00:28:43.15 I wanna emphasize, we have many of those 00:28:43.18\00:28:45.35 and we thank God for each person 00:28:45.39\00:28:47.12 who has done that for us. 00:28:47.16\00:28:49.06 On those documents, it's irrevocable. 00:28:49.09\00:28:53.50 So what you put in, you will not see that 00:28:53.53\00:28:56.13 full dollar amount again, because it becomes reduced 00:28:56.16\00:28:59.43 as your interest is paid through to you 00:28:59.47\00:29:02.24 through the years. 00:29:02.27\00:29:03.71 So it's more than just interest, right? 00:29:03.74\00:29:06.11 Its interest and part principle. 00:29:06.14\00:29:08.04 Both. Yeah. 00:29:08.08\00:29:09.41 Okay. Right. 00:29:09.44\00:29:10.78 And it's for lifetime For lifetime. 00:29:10.81\00:29:13.31 So you telling me it's guaranteed? 00:29:13.35\00:29:15.78 It's guaranteed. It's guaranteed for life. 00:29:15.82\00:29:17.42 That's right. 00:29:17.45\00:29:18.79 Now, if you're just starting out in your 65, 00:29:18.82\00:29:21.39 and you wanna get into it, great time to start. 00:29:21.42\00:29:24.39 Sixty five years old, put your money in there. 00:29:24.43\00:29:27.23 And then you're gonna be earning the interest 00:29:27.26\00:29:31.07 will be paying you from both, like you said, 00:29:31.10\00:29:34.40 and maybe you last another 20 years. 00:29:34.44\00:29:38.04 And part of that money still left there. 00:29:38.07\00:29:40.81 You were 80 when you did it, and now you're 100. 00:29:40.84\00:29:44.15 We actually have some of those out there. 00:29:44.18\00:29:46.38 So don't ever think you're too old to do 00:29:46.41\00:29:47.92 one of these for God. 00:29:47.95\00:29:49.28 That's right. So invest your money. 00:29:49.32\00:29:51.65 What still is in the account. Oh, this is such a blessing. 00:29:51.69\00:29:55.42 What still in the account is for God 00:29:55.46\00:29:58.66 and for this ministry to tell the story of Jesus. 00:29:58.69\00:30:03.20 That's what that money is left therefore. 00:30:03.23\00:30:05.27 Thank you. 00:30:05.30\00:30:06.63 So you're saying that 00:30:06.67\00:30:08.00 when you do a Charitable Gift Annuity, 00:30:08.04\00:30:09.70 that it's irrevocable, but you have 00:30:09.74\00:30:11.61 a guaranteed interest for the rest of your life? 00:30:11.64\00:30:14.54 It's a guaranteed income. Income. 00:30:14.58\00:30:16.11 Income. Okay? 00:30:16.14\00:30:17.51 And what percentage? 00:30:17.55\00:30:18.88 I mean, do we know does it depend on your age 00:30:18.91\00:30:20.52 does it depends... 00:30:20.55\00:30:21.88 It depends on your age. How much you put in? 00:30:21.92\00:30:23.35 Yeah. It depends on... 00:30:23.39\00:30:24.72 If it's a one life or a two life, 00:30:24.75\00:30:26.65 it depends on your life expectancy, 00:30:26.69\00:30:28.66 which we have tables. When your birthday is. 00:30:28.69\00:30:30.36 So, yes, we're gonna ask you, when your birthday is. 00:30:30.39\00:30:33.23 Some people will, don't ask me my birthday. 00:30:33.26\00:30:35.00 Yeah. God loves your birthday. 00:30:35.03\00:30:37.07 He gave you your life on that day. 00:30:37.10\00:30:38.97 And when you go to invest and it's gonna be 00:30:39.00\00:30:40.67 for the Lord's work. 00:30:40.70\00:30:42.04 Tell us your birthday. It's very important. 00:30:42.07\00:30:43.64 Right. 00:30:43.67\00:30:45.01 Now, if you're 90 years old, wonder how many people 00:30:45.04\00:30:48.91 are 90 year old and they haven't planned yet. 00:30:48.94\00:30:52.25 Give me a call. I've got a senior citizen plan. 00:30:52.28\00:30:54.92 The older you get, the better it becomes. 00:30:54.95\00:30:56.89 That's right. Yeah. 00:30:56.92\00:30:58.25 Climb up to 9.5%. Really? 00:30:58.29\00:31:00.26 That's right. Yeah. 9.5%. 00:31:00.29\00:31:02.62 So we're here... You're kidding? 00:31:02.66\00:31:04.09 9.5% for the rest of your life, guaranteed. 00:31:04.13\00:31:07.46 For the rest of your life, Jason. 00:31:07.50\00:31:09.56 Whether it be a monthly distribution 00:31:09.60\00:31:12.23 as far as your income or a quarterly 00:31:12.27\00:31:14.17 or semi annually or annually, 9.5%. 00:31:14.20\00:31:17.27 I mean, you have to be 00:31:17.31\00:31:18.64 90 years old or a little bit higher, 00:31:18.67\00:31:20.21 you know, a little bit older than that. 00:31:20.24\00:31:21.78 But, you know, I see it as a very effective tool 00:31:21.81\00:31:27.75 for those people who want a stream of income 00:31:27.78\00:31:31.45 for the rest of their life, like kind of a paycheck. 00:31:31.49\00:31:35.09 And what I've seen it's a peace of mind that people, you know, 00:31:35.12\00:31:39.29 they like it so much once they do it, 00:31:39.33\00:31:41.66 they do more than one, more than two. 00:31:41.70\00:31:44.80 We have some person that has given it like. 00:31:44.83\00:31:46.94 A whole drawer full. Oh, yeah. 00:31:46.97\00:31:49.04 A whole file drawer full. Yeah. 00:31:49.07\00:31:51.71 So. Yeah, I mean... 00:31:51.74\00:31:53.07 Interest is coming from somewhere else. 00:31:53.11\00:31:54.64 And instead of wasting that interest... 00:31:54.68\00:31:56.04 Yeah. 00:31:56.08\00:31:57.41 She's calling us and saying, do me another one. 00:31:57.45\00:31:59.01 That's right. Do me another one. 00:31:59.05\00:32:00.82 When I leave this earth, God's gonna need this money. 00:32:00.85\00:32:03.72 You know, and I think because people worry less 00:32:03.75\00:32:06.92 with Charitable Gift Annuities and have that stream of income, 00:32:06.96\00:32:10.06 they live longer. 00:32:10.09\00:32:11.43 Of course. 00:32:11.46\00:32:12.79 And we've seen that over and over again, 00:32:12.83\00:32:14.43 they don't pass their life expectancy, 00:32:14.46\00:32:17.90 they fly by their life expectancy. 00:32:17.93\00:32:19.50 Yeah. They fly by. 00:32:19.53\00:32:21.10 And, you know, it's a blessing to them. 00:32:21.14\00:32:23.07 And it's a real, it's a win-win situation. 00:32:23.10\00:32:25.64 It's a win for our organization, 00:32:25.67\00:32:27.28 because whatever's left, 00:32:27.31\00:32:28.84 and sometimes we use all that they gave, 00:32:28.88\00:32:32.31 because they live longer than the life expectancy, 00:32:32.35\00:32:34.75 but that's okay. 00:32:34.78\00:32:36.12 We do that because we offer that service. 00:32:36.15\00:32:38.55 But really, it's a blessing to our constituents 00:32:38.59\00:32:41.12 that when they give, they got a stream of income, 00:32:41.16\00:32:43.29 they don't have to worry about it. 00:32:43.32\00:32:44.66 It's the rest of their life. 00:32:44.69\00:32:46.49 And it's up to 9.5% for those who, you know, 00:32:46.53\00:32:49.20 get to 90, you know... 00:32:49.23\00:32:50.57 I'm gonna point out one thing. 00:32:50.60\00:32:52.57 Just in case you think that when you're 65, 00:32:52.60\00:32:56.87 when you're 75, your rates gonna change 00:32:56.91\00:32:58.61 and when you're 85 it's gonna change, it doesn't. 00:32:58.64\00:33:01.14 It's the day you bought the annuity. 00:33:01.18\00:33:03.38 That's right. Okay. 00:33:03.41\00:33:04.75 Your age stays with the date you bought it. 00:33:04.78\00:33:07.35 So with the person we were talking 00:33:07.38\00:33:09.42 about with a drawer full. 00:33:09.45\00:33:11.19 She'd been doing that for 10 years. 00:33:11.22\00:33:12.89 Yeah. Yeah. 00:33:12.92\00:33:14.26 So everyone will have a different rate then? 00:33:14.29\00:33:15.62 So each one has a different rate. 00:33:15.66\00:33:16.99 I got it. 00:33:17.03\00:33:18.36 So your rate changes based on your age or... 00:33:18.39\00:33:19.76 When you enter. That's correct. 00:33:19.79\00:33:21.13 At that time. Yes. 00:33:21.16\00:33:22.50 So a couple of years ago when the rate went back up, 00:33:22.53\00:33:23.97 she hopped up too. 00:33:24.00\00:33:25.33 Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. 00:33:25.37\00:33:26.70 Thank you, Lord, for people who are willing to do this 00:33:26.74\00:33:29.67 and turn around and give it 00:33:29.70\00:33:31.04 as a gift to 3ABN at their demise. 00:33:31.07\00:33:33.41 That's right. Yes. 00:33:33.44\00:33:34.88 So if you were interested in Charitable Gift Annuity, 00:33:34.91\00:33:37.88 you have to be a certain age to enter this, right? 00:33:37.91\00:33:39.78 That's right. What's the age? 00:33:39.81\00:33:41.15 65. 00:33:41.18\00:33:42.52 So if you are 65 or above, we encourage you 00:33:42.55\00:33:45.02 to call our Plan Giving and Trust Services Department, 00:33:45.05\00:33:47.52 give us our number again. 00:33:47.56\00:33:48.92 800-886-4800. 00:33:48.96\00:33:53.29 There's the number on the screen. 00:33:53.33\00:33:55.16 And give us that call. 00:33:55.20\00:33:56.70 You'll be surprised what we can offer you. 00:33:56.73\00:33:58.97 You'll be surprised how you can jump in 00:33:59.00\00:34:01.10 and support the Lord's work, even if you thought 00:34:01.14\00:34:03.47 you had no money to do it. 00:34:03.51\00:34:05.81 There is a way to start some plans. 00:34:05.84\00:34:08.71 So I'm gonna muddy the water and say, yes, at 65, 66, 00:34:08.74\00:34:13.31 that's usually the time and it's usually 00:34:13.35\00:34:16.12 for interest rate purposes, 00:34:16.15\00:34:17.49 it's the most effective for both parties. 00:34:17.52\00:34:20.39 However, if you're younger, and you don't know what to do 00:34:20.42\00:34:23.06 with the money, but you believe in 3ABN, 00:34:23.09\00:34:27.03 we can do a Deferred Gift Annuity, 00:34:27.06\00:34:29.83 where we could hold that until a certain point 00:34:29.86\00:34:33.30 when you get so. 00:34:33.34\00:34:34.67 If you're in your 40s or 50s, or even late 50s 00:34:34.70\00:34:37.61 and you say I wanna do a Charitable Gift Annuity, 00:34:37.64\00:34:39.34 but I don't want my payment until I'm 65. 00:34:39.37\00:34:42.08 We can hold that until you're 65, 00:34:42.11\00:34:45.18 we invest it and it grows to the point when you reach 65. 00:34:45.21\00:34:49.98 That's when the Charitable Gift Annuity gets in gear 00:34:50.02\00:34:54.22 and we start sending the payments after you. 00:34:54.26\00:34:55.86 So you would not start to see a return for yourself 00:34:55.89\00:34:58.13 and we start sending on the payments after 00:34:58.16\00:34:59.49 investment until you reach 65. 00:34:59.53\00:35:00.86 And that's why they call it a Deferred. 00:35:00.90\00:35:02.23 Deferred. Got it. 00:35:02.26\00:35:03.60 Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, it's an excellent plan. 00:35:03.63\00:35:04.97 So the younger can get involved. 00:35:05.00\00:35:06.33 That's right. 00:35:06.37\00:35:07.70 And I appreciate you bringing that up, 00:35:07.74\00:35:09.07 because that is one that the younger people 00:35:09.10\00:35:11.37 can definitely do. 00:35:11.41\00:35:13.27 I didn't even know that. So I learned something new. 00:35:13.31\00:35:15.24 Yeah, and the interest rate for that is bumped up 00:35:15.28\00:35:17.91 because you have invested for a number of years. 00:35:17.95\00:35:19.71 That's correct. 00:35:19.75\00:35:21.08 So it's a better interest rate for your age too. 00:35:21.12\00:35:23.62 Okay. What about Property Trust? 00:35:23.65\00:35:25.19 I know we talked about Cash Trust, 00:35:25.22\00:35:27.32 and that's the dollar amount 00:35:27.36\00:35:28.89 you can put in that's at any age, 00:35:28.92\00:35:30.46 but what is a Property Trust? 00:35:30.49\00:35:31.83 What does that mean? 00:35:31.86\00:35:33.19 Property Trust, I think are really important 00:35:33.23\00:35:35.33 in that especially if your family's 00:35:35.36\00:35:37.67 not around you. 00:35:37.70\00:35:39.33 There's so many people that and this buys to me too. 00:35:39.37\00:35:42.47 My daughter is over 600 miles away. 00:35:42.50\00:35:45.07 Okay, if my husband and I were to suddenly pass away, 00:35:45.11\00:35:49.58 it would be a burden to her to come here and to try to, 00:35:49.61\00:35:53.98 you know, sell our home, 00:35:54.02\00:35:55.92 take care of all the furnishings 00:35:55.95\00:35:57.29 and to do everything. 00:35:57.32\00:35:58.92 Property Trust is a blessing, 00:35:58.95\00:36:01.22 and that we put it into the trust. 00:36:01.26\00:36:03.73 And we give that duty, you might say to 00:36:03.76\00:36:07.50 Three Angels Broadcasting, they become, 00:36:07.53\00:36:09.46 when my husband and I pass away, 00:36:09.50\00:36:11.43 3ABN becomes the successor trustee 00:36:11.47\00:36:13.34 and takes care of everything. 00:36:13.37\00:36:15.10 They come, they put the house up for sale, 00:36:15.14\00:36:17.87 they take care of the realtor, they take care of even 00:36:17.91\00:36:20.94 taking care of the property until it's sold. 00:36:20.98\00:36:23.65 So it's really no burden at all to the family 00:36:23.68\00:36:26.38 when you pass away then. 00:36:26.41\00:36:27.75 And does that mean, I'm sorry, if you have a Property Trust, 00:36:27.78\00:36:30.09 you can still make a decision and say like for you, 00:36:30.12\00:36:32.45 for instance, you want your daughter 00:36:32.49\00:36:34.09 to get be a beneficiary of certain percentage, 00:36:34.12\00:36:36.19 then 3ABN would get a certain percentage, 00:36:36.22\00:36:37.96 you can still choose that too? 00:36:37.99\00:36:39.33 Yes. 00:36:39.36\00:36:40.70 And we always ask that 3ABN get a minimum of 25%, 00:36:40.73\00:36:43.33 but the other 75% can go to your family, 00:36:43.37\00:36:46.40 can go to friends, can go to other ministries. 00:36:46.43\00:36:49.00 You can decide what you wanna do 00:36:49.04\00:36:51.61 with the money that after you've passed away. 00:36:51.64\00:36:54.28 But I think the greatest blessing is that 00:36:54.31\00:36:56.11 it's not a burden to your family. 00:36:56.14\00:36:57.48 Yeah. 00:36:57.51\00:36:58.85 Because so many who call in and say, well, 00:36:58.88\00:37:00.72 I've got two children in Pennsylvania, 00:37:00.75\00:37:02.75 one in Texas and one over in Washington. 00:37:02.78\00:37:05.02 And I live in Tennessee. That's right. 00:37:05.05\00:37:06.89 And it's like, I don't want my kids to have to worry about 00:37:06.92\00:37:09.29 taking care of everything when I'm gone. 00:37:09.32\00:37:11.63 And so that's when a trust is a real blessing to the family. 00:37:11.66\00:37:14.40 Because they say, oh, my kids are gonna love to hear this. 00:37:14.43\00:37:16.93 They don't have to worry about anything. 00:37:16.97\00:37:18.43 That's right. 00:37:18.47\00:37:19.80 And some people have been hanging on to that house. 00:37:19.83\00:37:22.20 Because, you know, I really wanna give it 00:37:22.24\00:37:24.34 to my children that's been in my heart a long time 00:37:24.37\00:37:27.44 that my children would get the home. 00:37:27.48\00:37:29.24 That's right. 00:37:29.28\00:37:30.61 Now, how are you gonna divide it up? 00:37:30.65\00:37:32.48 Like, you said, they're in five different places, 00:37:32.51\00:37:34.55 how we're gonna bring this house together? 00:37:34.58\00:37:36.55 Do we sell one, you know, 00:37:36.58\00:37:37.92 the living room and one the kitchen? 00:37:37.95\00:37:39.49 Okay, this is where we have to get sensible and say, God, 00:37:39.52\00:37:43.09 what would you have me to do? 00:37:43.12\00:37:45.19 Should I put this in a trust? 00:37:45.23\00:37:47.23 And should I leave it 00:37:47.26\00:37:49.56 and trust You to take care of it 00:37:49.60\00:37:52.60 through 3ABNs staff that can come and do that. 00:37:52.63\00:37:56.27 And we do not have enough staff running around here 00:37:56.30\00:37:59.67 to go to every house and clean it up 00:37:59.71\00:38:02.54 and do the mopping and what have you. 00:38:02.58\00:38:04.45 People want to know, how do you get all that done 00:38:04.48\00:38:05.95 and then get it on the market. 00:38:05.98\00:38:07.32 I was thinking that. Which means... 00:41:25.55\00:41:27.18 Which means what? 00:41:27.22\00:41:28.55 What does it mean when it goes into your estate? 00:41:28.58\00:41:30.02 That means that you're no longer in control 00:41:30.05\00:41:33.12 and the local government is in control of your resources. 00:41:33.15\00:41:37.83 Now... 00:41:37.86\00:41:39.19 Now, if you don't want it to go to the wrong place... 00:41:39.23\00:41:43.23 Or the wrong people. 00:41:43.26\00:41:44.60 Or the wrong people, then this is a time 00:41:44.63\00:41:46.94 to really seriously think about the pay on death. 00:41:46.97\00:41:50.54 Right. 00:41:50.57\00:41:51.91 Which in some banks, you have that you go in 00:41:51.94\00:41:54.54 and it's a nice young, beautiful teller, you know, 00:41:54.58\00:41:57.05 and she says, I don't think we do that here. 00:41:57.08\00:42:00.68 Oh, well, my financial person has told me to come in here 00:42:00.72\00:42:05.15 and do a pay on death. 00:42:05.19\00:42:07.16 Oh, I've never heard of that before. 00:42:07.19\00:42:10.33 I don't know that we've ever done that. 00:42:10.36\00:42:12.89 Right. And you say, just a moment. 00:42:12.93\00:42:15.43 They walk back out. 00:42:15.46\00:42:17.37 Earlene, I'm at the bank, 00:42:17.40\00:42:19.80 and they're giving me a run around. 00:42:19.83\00:42:21.87 I said, go back in and say, 00:42:21.90\00:42:23.37 when I die, who's getting my money? 00:42:23.41\00:42:26.61 That's right. Just like you had to. 00:42:26.64\00:42:28.51 That's paid on dead. 00:42:28.54\00:42:29.88 You have to be in control of your finances. 00:42:29.91\00:42:32.98 That means, if you go to the bank, 00:42:33.01\00:42:34.78 and you've always trusted them 00:42:34.82\00:42:36.92 and please continue to trust them, 00:42:36.95\00:42:38.29 they do a good job for us. 00:42:38.32\00:42:39.65 But be in control of what's happening for you. 00:42:39.69\00:42:42.62 What's happening on your account. 00:42:42.66\00:42:44.29 That's right. Yeah. 00:42:44.33\00:42:45.66 You know, what's interesting about a POD or a Paid On Death 00:42:45.69\00:42:48.30 is those type of assets, you don't even have to put them 00:42:48.33\00:42:51.47 in a trust because when you put the POD 00:42:51.50\00:42:54.80 that saves all the efforts, 00:42:54.84\00:42:57.44 it doesn't go into anybody's estate 00:42:57.47\00:43:00.04 because you have named the beneficiary right 00:43:00.08\00:43:03.48 in the document 00:43:03.51\00:43:04.85 when you sign up for that investment tool, 00:43:04.88\00:43:06.95 whether it be a checking or investment, 00:43:06.98\00:43:09.52 a brokerage account, if you just put POD, 00:43:09.55\00:43:12.35 it goes directly to that, and it's outside 00:43:12.39\00:43:15.52 all these other instruments. 00:43:15.56\00:43:16.99 But if you have, you know, in estate or you have assets 00:43:17.03\00:43:21.06 that you wanna put together and you have 00:43:21.10\00:43:23.93 a beneficiary list and a distribution, 00:43:23.97\00:43:26.63 it's a lot easier to put it in a trust 00:43:26.67\00:43:29.10 for a trustee to say, okay. 00:43:29.14\00:43:31.97 And the trustee, you wanna make sure 00:43:32.01\00:43:34.08 you trust them and how those monies 00:43:34.11\00:43:37.38 are going to be divided to the way the instrument says. 00:43:37.41\00:43:42.85 And that's what's so important about a trust is, 00:43:42.88\00:43:44.55 the better it's written, 00:43:44.59\00:43:46.29 the better the effect is at the end 00:43:46.32\00:43:48.62 and more peace of mind and less drama at the end. 00:43:48.66\00:43:52.43 And, you know, sometimes we like drama, 00:43:52.46\00:43:54.53 but in these type of cases... 00:43:54.56\00:43:55.90 We don't like dramas. No, we don't want drama. 00:43:55.93\00:43:57.43 We prefer not having the drama. Yes. 00:43:57.47\00:43:59.10 That's right. 00:43:59.13\00:44:00.47 We've been through some of that. 00:44:00.50\00:44:02.04 And that's why we're doing these education programs. 00:44:02.07\00:44:03.81 Yes. You know? 00:46:38.09\00:46:39.43 So, yeah, let's talk about CRUT. 00:46:39.46\00:46:40.80 Can I ask one thing? Yeah. 00:46:40.83\00:46:42.16 So for the Self Administered Trust is, can that be property 00:46:42.20\00:46:44.70 and finances or...? 00:46:44.73\00:46:46.74 Yes, it can be everything. Okay, thank you. 00:46:46.77\00:46:48.14 Yep, yep, yep. 00:46:48.17\00:46:49.50 So CRUTs are, let's say, 00:46:49.54\00:46:51.77 it's a document, that's a trust, 00:46:51.81\00:46:53.94 but it is an irrevocable trust. 00:46:53.98\00:46:56.51 And basically what happens it's usually designed 00:46:56.54\00:47:00.22 to mitigate capital gains. 00:47:00.25\00:47:05.59 So, let's say you have a piece of property that's worth, 00:47:05.62\00:47:08.76 you know, let's say 500,000 or a million dollars, 00:47:08.79\00:47:12.46 but you only paid $100,000 for that piece of property. 00:47:12.49\00:47:16.20 So what you would do 00:47:16.23\00:47:17.63 is you would stick that into a CRUT, 00:47:17.67\00:47:20.54 a Charitable Remainder Unit Trust, I know, 00:47:20.57\00:47:23.41 it's these acronyms, they're funny. 00:47:23.44\00:47:26.11 But anyway, a Charitable Remainder Unit Trust, 00:47:26.14\00:47:29.08 that is an instrument where you would put that in there, 00:47:29.11\00:47:33.78 and then you would get 5% for life on that instrument, 00:47:33.82\00:47:39.75 and we would pay that out to you, 00:47:39.79\00:47:42.02 and that you would not have to pay 00:47:42.06\00:47:43.83 capital gains all up front. 00:47:43.86\00:47:46.56 A part of your payment would be a little capital gains, 00:47:46.59\00:47:51.13 but that's part of IRS regulations and all that. 00:47:51.17\00:47:53.57 But as far as having a piece of property that's very 00:47:53.60\00:47:58.17 appreciated that you don't want pay capital gains, 00:47:58.21\00:48:01.28 a Charitable Remainder Unit Trust is a great tool 00:48:01.31\00:48:05.58 to benefit from to utilize that property in a way 00:48:05.61\00:48:10.25 that will benefit the organization. 00:48:10.29\00:48:12.19 What happens is, you get that 5% for life, 00:48:12.22\00:48:15.49 and then after that or term of years, 00:48:15.52\00:48:17.66 whatever how we write the document. 00:48:17.69\00:48:19.89 But then after that, 00:48:19.93\00:48:21.30 that remaining asset goes to 3ABN. 00:48:21.33\00:48:25.90 So, it's a great document. 00:48:25.93\00:48:27.80 It's a way to control some of your capital gains 00:48:27.84\00:48:31.47 that you may have with appreciated property. 00:48:31.51\00:48:34.04 And it's a great tool that is utilized here at 3ABN. 00:48:34.08\00:48:37.51 Yes, we're very, very grateful to have 00:48:37.55\00:48:40.02 a tool that can do that. 00:48:40.05\00:48:41.72 That's powerful. That's right. 00:48:41.75\00:48:43.08 Yes. Absolutely. 00:48:43.12\00:48:44.45 And if you're planning, which we pray that you are. 00:48:44.49\00:48:47.96 If you're planning with the Lord, 00:48:47.99\00:48:50.16 choose the strong documents. That's right. 00:48:50.19\00:48:53.46 A will is kind of wishy-washy. 00:48:53.50\00:48:56.50 Now a will does come with a trust. 00:48:56.53\00:48:59.90 But that's a poor over-will. That's correct. 00:48:59.93\00:49:01.87 And that's just slightly different. 00:49:01.90\00:49:03.84 But just a very simple will when you've got all this stuff. 00:49:03.87\00:49:08.78 It's not adequate. 00:49:08.81\00:49:10.65 Please think twice about a will that maybe you have now. 00:49:10.68\00:49:14.45 And you think it has everything in it. 00:49:14.48\00:49:16.22 You say, God, what should I do with this? 00:49:16.25\00:49:18.72 That's right. Call us, talk to us about it. 00:49:18.75\00:49:21.22 But if you have nothing, at least get a will. 00:49:21.26\00:49:25.03 If you have nothing, at least get a will. 00:49:25.06\00:49:27.06 That's right. That's right. Yes. 00:49:27.10\00:49:28.43 And that can start quite young too. 00:49:28.46\00:49:30.33 That's right. 00:49:30.37\00:49:31.70 This is another thing that brand new parents, 00:49:31.73\00:49:34.74 brand new households, newlyweds, what have you done? 00:49:34.77\00:49:39.61 Have you planned? 00:49:39.64\00:49:41.24 What if something happens to one of you? 00:49:41.28\00:49:43.58 What have you planned? 00:49:43.61\00:49:45.15 Don't be caught out there with nothing. 00:49:45.18\00:49:47.78 It's very important that you have something 00:49:47.82\00:49:51.05 and we have something for everybody. 00:49:51.09\00:49:53.15 This is not just no people's plan. 00:49:53.19\00:49:54.59 That's right. This is for everybody. 00:49:54.62\00:49:56.62 That's right. 00:49:56.66\00:49:57.99 And it's good to plan it now while your mind is crisp 00:49:58.03\00:50:01.53 than to wait later on and you might forget 00:50:01.56\00:50:04.10 something or lose something, 00:50:04.13\00:50:05.50 it's better to do it while you're younger. 00:50:05.53\00:50:07.40 And then you can think about it as you go on. 00:50:07.44\00:50:09.37 And that just builds peace of mind. 00:50:09.40\00:50:10.77 It does. Absolutely. 00:50:10.81\00:50:12.54 Because, you know, I mean, it's just amazing to me, 00:50:12.57\00:50:14.81 life is uncertain at best, would you say that? 00:50:14.84\00:50:18.65 I mean, life is... We don't know the future. 00:50:18.68\00:50:20.95 I mean, the Bible says, "Don't worry about the future." 00:50:20.98\00:50:23.89 And we know that sufficient unto the day is the evil, 00:50:23.92\00:50:26.32 but don't worry about the future. 00:50:26.35\00:50:28.29 But yet we are called to plan for the future. 00:50:28.32\00:50:30.93 That's right. 00:50:30.96\00:50:32.29 Because that is vitally important 00:50:32.33\00:50:33.66 for the peace of mind, 00:50:33.70\00:50:35.03 I've been hearing that this whole hour 00:50:35.06\00:50:36.40 as we've been talking together is the importance 00:50:36.43\00:50:38.50 of having that peace of mind. 00:50:38.53\00:50:40.94 The importance of knowing what's gonna happen 00:50:40.97\00:50:43.44 with your loved ones, with your finances. 00:50:43.47\00:50:46.01 The importance of planning ahead for the Lord's work 00:50:46.04\00:50:50.21 and saying, yes, I want part. 00:50:50.25\00:50:52.81 Some people give 100% and we... 00:50:52.85\00:50:55.68 That's a two hander. We praise the Lord for that. 00:50:55.72\00:50:58.35 But we understand some people say, 00:50:58.39\00:51:00.16 I have children, I have grandchildren. 00:51:00.19\00:51:02.62 I have other ministries that I want to support too. 00:51:02.66\00:51:05.53 And we praise the Lord for that too 00:51:05.56\00:51:07.70 because it's all of us working together 00:51:07.73\00:51:10.93 to ensure you have that peace of mind to ensure 00:51:10.97\00:51:13.27 those properties, all of that's handled. 00:51:13.30\00:51:17.01 I love the Property Trust. 00:51:17.04\00:51:18.61 So I just wanna encourage you we're gonna put up 00:51:18.64\00:51:21.34 the address right now, and the website for 00:51:21.38\00:51:23.71 a Plan Giving and Trust Services Department. 00:51:23.75\00:51:25.88 If you're interested in Charitable Gift Annuity. 00:51:25.91\00:51:28.42 If you're interested in a Cash Trust 00:51:28.45\00:51:31.25 or a Property Trust or Self Administered Trust 00:51:31.29\00:51:37.19 or a CRUT, we call it, 00:51:37.23\00:51:39.09 a Charitable Remainder Unit Trust. 00:51:39.13\00:51:41.20 And I probably forgot some others. 00:51:41.23\00:51:42.83 You just give us a call at 00:51:42.86\00:51:44.90 our Plan Giving and Trust Services Department, 00:51:44.93\00:51:47.30 and we would be delighted to help you. 00:51:47.34\00:51:51.77 If you would like to learn more about 3ABN Trust Services, 00:51:51.81\00:51:55.34 and how to use your financial resources, 00:51:55.38\00:51:57.71 investing wisely and at the same time 00:51:57.75\00:51:59.81 helping the work of your ministry, 00:51:59.85\00:52:01.82 then you can contact them at 3ABN Trust Services, 00:52:01.85\00:52:06.05 PO Box 220, West Frankfort, Illinois 62896. 00:52:06.09\00:52:10.99 That's 3ABN Trust Services, PO Box 220, West Frankfort, 00:52:11.03\00:52:16.70 Illinois 62896. 00:52:16.73\00:52:19.17 You can call 800-886-4800. 00:52:19.20\00:52:23.30 It's 800-886-4800 00:52:23.34\00:52:27.08 or go to our website at www.3abn.org 00:52:27.11\00:52:32.45
