I came to certain parts
that I didn't understand,

groups of friends of mine.

groups were Adventists,

were non-denominational.

So I learned from both groups,

but the Adventist's truth,

it just made so much
more sense to me, you know?

And I realized that
that was the Bible truth.

I continued to study
and I was baptized maybe,

what, three months after I
started studying the Bible.

in an Adventist home either.

I thought I was a Christian.

is when I really
got into deep study,

out the Adventist church

Adventist Christian

is because I believe this church

truths than any other.

So my mother and my
father were both Adventists and,

it meant to go to church

seven days of the week.

I went to the home church
there and the Pathfinders,

and if you've ever
been to a black church,

it's all day events.

So, you know, AY, and socials,
and everything else in between.

And what does AY stand for?

So it's actually a
program in the afternoon,

Sabbath afternoon directly,

children, teenagers.

saturated in church culture?

doesn't save your relationship

inspired by a few things.

you know, I am from Orlando.

But when I first
came into the church,

one of the things was,

realized young adults

were leaving the church.

That was a big thing.

you go to the churches,

I mean, there's two young adults

at this church,
maybe five at this one,

There wasn't something
bringing them all together.

And so that was
one of the reasons

why we wanted to
have a vehicle to bring

from the different churches

so there can be a
