- You know, this makes me wish I were young 00:00:01.36\00:00:02.70 again, had it to all do over with. What we'd 00:00:02.73\00:00:04.53 like to do-just got a few minutes left-let's 00:00:04.67\00:00:06.87 get a closing thought from each one of you. 00:00:06.97\00:00:09.14 And Sunika, we'll begin with you. - Okay, sure, sure. 00:00:09.24\00:00:11.77 So, I think going on a mission trip really was 00:00:11.87\00:00:15.24 a huge blessing in my life. I never thought 00:00:15.34\00:00:17.05 that I would have the opportunity to stand 00:00:17.15\00:00:20.05 before people and to speak or to preach, 00:00:20.15\00:00:22.28 but God was able to use me to reach those people. 00:00:22.92\00:00:25.99 And so, I would say that if you're looking for a way 00:00:26.09\00:00:29.12 to reach out to people, it doesn't have to be on 00:00:29.22\00:00:31.56 some huge? mission trip, but you can reach 00:00:31.63\00:00:33.73 out to people right where you are. But I would say 00:00:33.83\00:00:37.00 if you are looking for a high school to go to, 00:00:37.07\00:00:39.80 Weimar is a great place. And I know for me, it's 00:00:39.87\00:00:42.60 definitely changed my life. Before I came here, 00:00:42.70\00:00:45.14 I didn't really have any sort of relationship with 00:00:45.24\00:00:47.44 God, but it's really changed the way I've 00:00:47.54\00:00:50.55 seen a lot of things, and God's really used this school. 00:00:50.61\00:00:53.42 - If He's changing you now, He's just changed 00:00:53.52\00:00:55.68 your future. Miss Venice. - Well, I think it's impacted 00:00:55.72\00:01:01.39 my life in a big way. Before I came to Weimar, 00:01:01.46\00:01:05.03 I didn't really have a relationship with God, 00:01:06.63\00:01:08.46 and through... - And that's growing up in a very strong 00:01:09.20\00:01:12.43 Christian family, too. - Yeah. I kind of depended 00:01:12.53\00:01:15.64 on my own works to kind of... - Sure, I understand. 00:01:15.74\00:01:21.48 - And this last year, I realized how much I 00:01:21.58\00:01:25.45 needed to be dependent on Him. - Amen! - His 00:01:25.51\00:01:27.62 righteousness that covers me. - Amen! - And so, I 00:01:27.68\00:01:30.99 realized that at Weimar, and I'm very, very thankful 00:01:31.09\00:01:33.49 for that. - Oh, that is such a beautiful... That's 00:01:33.56\00:01:36.66 music to my ears-to hear that you've learned that 00:01:36.73\00:01:39.36 at such a young age, 'cause if we could all just learn that, 00:01:39.46\00:01:42.63 that's what it's all about. Okay, Justin. 00:01:42.76\00:01:46.33 - Weimar has changed my life; it's changed my family's life. 00:01:46.43\00:01:50.41 I mean, I've been able to learn different trades 00:01:50.51\00:01:53.91 there at Weimar, I've learned something that 00:01:54.01\00:01:55.84 can get me through college, make me a good living, and 00:01:55.91\00:01:59.35 I've also been able to discover different things 00:01:59.45\00:02:01.95 like dentistry and stuff like that and that I might 00:02:02.05\00:02:04.92 want to go into in the future. And most importantly, my first 00:02:04.99\00:02:08.96 year that I was there at Weimar, I mean, my life 00:02:09.02\00:02:11.29 completely changed. Before that, as Venice said and 00:02:11.43\00:02:13.86 Sunika said, I didn't really have much of a 00:02:13.96\00:02:17.13 relationship with God, and I was able to be 00:02:17.23\00:02:20.14 baptized there directly because of Weimar. I 00:02:20.24\00:02:22.74 know that I would not be the same person today 00:02:22.80\00:02:24.47 if it wasn't for Weimar. We have Week of Prayers 00:02:24.57\00:02:28.08 twice a year there. I mean, it's just completely surrounded- 00:02:28.18\00:02:31.68 Weimar's completely surrounded by spiritual 00:02:31.78\00:02:34.12 things, and I've really been able to focus on 00:02:34.18\00:02:36.12 God because of Weimar. [Amen!] - Glory to God. 00:02:36.22\00:02:39.95 Kirk? Give us a final word. - Well, it's been 00:02:40.06\00:02:43.66 a blessing; but I think one thing I would like 00:02:43.76\00:02:45.99 these young people to experience is when things 00:02:46.06\00:02:49.76 come their way, to see God's goodness and 00:02:49.86\00:02:51.97 recognize His goodness in all the trials. It's so 00:02:52.13\00:02:55.27 easy to get discouraged and complain, but turn 00:02:55.34\00:02:59.94 that complaining around to see what God has in 00:03:00.04\00:03:02.14 store for you in a mighty way. I've seen it in my 00:03:02.21\00:03:04.05 own life, and yeah. I'm excited to see those 00:03:04.08\00:03:07.22 young people that recognize that and grasp that and just 00:03:07.32\00:03:11.32 ask the Lord what He has in the trials. - Amen. - I 00:03:11.39\00:03:15.72 mean, you look at the stories in the Bible of 00:03:15.82\00:03:17.16 ? some of the great people, some of the greatest 00:03:17.19\00:03:18.63 trials was when they surrendered to Him, 00:03:18.73\00:03:21.40 God made dramatic things happen in their life. 00:03:21.50\00:03:25.53 - That's... I'll tell you that-my personal 00:03:25.63\00:03:29.40 experience in my life, the worst year of my 00:03:29.50\00:03:31.27 life, turned out to be the best year of my 00:03:31.34\00:03:33.48 life, because I learned how to surrender to 00:03:33.58\00:03:36.41 the Lord and I learned what true faith was. 00:03:36.48\00:03:38.51 Sunika, thank you for being here. - Thank you 00:03:38.61\00:03:42.15 for having me. - Venice, I can't believe you're all 00:03:42.25\00:03:44.45 grown up. And we are so glad that you've 00:03:44.52\00:03:48.16 joined us today-Justin, as well. And thank you, 00:03:48.26\00:03:51.26 Kirk, for what you do. You know, our prayer 00:03:51.33\00:03:54.43 for you at home is that the grace of our Lord 00:03:54.53\00:03:56.93 and Savior Jesus Christ, the love of the Father, 00:03:57.00\00:03:59.03 and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit will be 00:03:59.13\00:04:01.37 with you always. See you next time. 00:04:01.44\00:04:03.97 - God bless. 00:04:04.11\00:04:05.77
