my memory verses every weekend,

definitely raised Christian.

a Christian atmosphere

I had a job at a
place after school,

inside the warehouse.

And there was a
Jehovah's Witness family

that worked there, and
they were quite evangelistic.

And one of them sat down with me

and he began to
proceed to engage

in a very
thorough discussion with me

about what he thought was right
and not right about my faith.

And being the
young man that I was,

I was quite the debater.

I tried my best
to, I should say,

kindly interact with him

and help him to
see things differently,

but I got really frustrated
because of that conversation.

And so I went home
that evening determined

that I was going to
go and study my Bible

and prove this guy wrong.

And so I went
back, and, you know,

you think that I
knew my Bible well,

but even though I was
raised going to church,

I didn't really
study it for myself.

And so I went home that evening,

and I started
studying the Bible.

And, you know, I
kind of got somewhere,

but that connected me

called Desire of Ages.

And when I read a
chapter of that every night,

that's really
what brought conversion

just revealed Jesus

be someone else's God

love the name, GLOW.

How did GLOW begin?

Yeah, so back in 2007 is kind of

when we started
off with the ministry.

That year God had put it
in the hearts of God's people

in Central California

to put together a
large evangelistic offering.

And I think they
raised about $3 million

towards evangelism.

And my boss's boss at the time,
00:11:59.68\00:12:01.72
a guy by the name of
Jerry Page in the church.

Dear friend, yes.

Yeah, he got in his mind

that he wanted to
start a new ministry

to try and get adults involved

in some kind of
literature ministry.

We already had stuff going on
for the youth and young adults,

but he wanted the
adults to get involved.

And so he tasked us with that,

he came to our department

in literature
ministries in 2017,

he said, "Hey, we've got funds,

to share their faith."

And so I was personally
delegated to that job.
