00:01 And that is good information.
00:03 Lords and lady, we have just two minutes and change. 00:05 Let us start with you, Ryan, just a little closing thought, 00:07 put a little bow on our study today. 00:09 Absolutely. 00:11 You know, one of the questions you ask in preparing 00:15 for this that I really... 00:16 It really spoke to me, 00:18 what is the antidote for legalism? 00:22 And there's no doubt 00:23 that the answer to that is love. 00:25 Amen. Amen. Amen. 00:26 Love. 00:27 When you truly have the love of God in you, 00:30 and you have Christ in you, and you walk as He walked, 00:34 you talk as He talked. 00:35 You respond to the gospel as He responded to the gospel. 00:38 And so and I would say, 00:40 you know, as the great love chapter of 1 Corinthians 13, 00:44 "Love never fails." 00:46 And so that would be my answer to this whole conversation. 00:51 When you have the love of God in you, and you truly love Him, 00:54 as He says, "You will keep His Commandments." 00:56 It's not a means by which we gain salvation. 00:59 But because we are saved, we love Him. 01:01 Well said. Shelley? 01:02 And I would just take that a step further to say that 01:05 another antidote, my response would have been love and mercy. 01:11 I believe that, you know, God's been merciful to us, 01:15 and we need to be merciful in response to others. 01:19 And I think love and mercy, both are antidotes to legalism. 01:24 Legalists are not very merciful people. 01:27 Amen. Well said. 01:28 Johnny? 01:30 You know, when I look at the cross 01:32 and what Jesus Christ has done for me on the cross, 01:36 it tells me that the law is holy, 01:39 just and good and could not be changed. 01:42 And that's why Jesus had to die for me. 01:44 Amen. 01:46 It could not be changed. 01:47 He had to die for me because the law could not be changed. 01:49 And to me, it helps me to understand 01:52 that He expects me by His grace to love Him 01:55 and keep His Commandments. 01:56 Amen. Well said. 01:58 If we could have worked ourselves into the kingdom, 02:00 Christ's death would have been unnecessary and irrelevant. 02:03 "He has shown you, O man, what is good, 02:04 and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, love, 02:07 mercy, walk humbly with our God." 02:08 Our time has fast slipped into eternity. 02:10 Allow me in closing to wish you both grace and peace 02:13 through our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. 02:15 We'll see you again soon. Bye-bye and God bless. |
