I want to spend my life 00:00:01.50\00:00:06.84 mending broken people 00:00:07.34\00:00:11.87 I want to spend my life 00:00:12.34\00:00:17.71 removing pain 00:00:18.68\00:00:23.02 Lord, let my words 00:00:23.72\00:00:28.62 heal a heart that hurts 00:00:29.92\00:00:34.03 I want to spend my life 00:00:34.46\00:00:39.37 mending broken people 00:00:40.10\00:00:44.67 I want to spend my life 00:00:45.54\00:00:50.88 mending broken people 00:00:51.28\00:00:56.02 Hello and welcome to another 3ABN Today program. 00:01:10.70\00:01:13.30 I'm Greg and Jill- well, WE'RE Greg and Jill Morikone 00:01:13.34\00:01:16.30 and we are so glad that you have joined us today from- 00:01:16.34\00:01:19.37 I don't know-somewhere in the world-maybe here in the 00:01:19.41\00:01:22.18 United States. It's amazing with technology how it can 00:01:22.21\00:01:25.28 go around the world via satellite, internet, radio, 00:01:25.31\00:01:29.35 even, and you are part of the family! We just want 00:01:29.38\00:01:32.72 to say a big, great thank-you for your support of the 00:01:32.75\00:01:35.19 ministry-maybe financially; through your prayers, of 00:01:35.29\00:01:38.29 course, they mean so very much to us and it's making 00:01:38.33\00:01:40.33 a difference around the world! So, we count you as family. 00:01:40.36\00:01:44.27 We've met some of you here at our camp meetings or 00:01:44.30\00:01:46.74 different events; maybe you've come through on a 00:01:46.77\00:01:48.74 tour or something or we've been to a church. So now, 00:01:48.77\00:01:51.31 when we look into this glass, we're not just seeing a 00:01:51.37\00:01:53.17 camera lens. We're actually being able to put faces 00:01:53.24\00:01:55.91 with you. We look forward to heaven, don't we?-where the 00:01:55.94\00:01:59.65 great big family in heaven we'll be able to meet someday 00:01:59.68\00:02:01.82 for faithful to the Lord Jesus Christ. And talking 00:02:01.92\00:02:04.39 about world family, we have some of our family here from 00:02:04.45\00:02:08.86 Russia. Jill and I have the privilege of going last year 00:02:08.89\00:02:13.63 to Russia-first time-for the 25th anniversary of 3ABN 00:02:13.66\00:02:17.57 Russia. To see what God has done, it has opened my 00:02:17.63\00:02:21.74 eyes and I know yours, as well, because- well, I 00:02:21.77\00:02:25.57 may be talking too much here, but anyway-when I was 00:02:25.61\00:02:27.24 small and when 3ABN Russia, for those of you 00:02:27.28\00:02:29.81 that have been following on 3ABN for many years, my 00:02:29.88\00:02:33.18 sister and I- I was just a young man at the time. They 00:02:33.21\00:02:36.72 were raising funds for 3ABN Russia, so my sister and I- 00:02:36.82\00:02:39.99 I don't remember what we supported with financially, 00:02:40.06\00:02:43.53 but to actually be able to go there and see the 00:02:43.56\00:02:46.96 facility, to see what God has done there just brought 00:02:47.00\00:02:50.93 tears to my eyes. To meet our family there...wow. 00:02:50.97\00:02:55.77 I think it's a taste of what heaven's going to 00:02:55.90\00:02:58.61 be like. It actually tears me up right now just thinking 00:02:58.64\00:03:00.38 about it. It was just a moving emotional experience 00:03:00.41\00:03:02.54 but in a positive way because it's just neat to see how 00:03:02.58\00:03:05.15 God has worked to do such amazing things-through 00:03:05.25\00:03:08.42 you, too. Thank you for your support of 3ABN Russia. 00:03:08.48\00:03:11.15 - Amen. That's right; it was an incredible experience to 00:03:11.59\00:03:14.29 go there, because I felt like I went halfway around 00:03:14.32\00:03:17.33 the world to meet family that I never knew I had until 00:03:17.36\00:03:20.93 that very moment. - Oh, I know. - So, thank YOU for 00:03:20.96\00:03:23.87 standing with the ministry of 3ABN and the ministry 00:03:23.90\00:03:27.34 of 3ABN Russia. Because of what you have done, many, 00:03:27.40\00:03:30.81 many people are coming to a knowledge of Jesus. So, 00:03:30.87\00:03:33.48 we want to introduce our family to you at this time. 00:03:33.58\00:03:37.45 They came from Russia to here at 3ABN and we're so 00:03:37.51\00:03:41.65 excited to have each one of you here. We have Julia 00:03:41.68\00:03:44.49 Outkina-you are the executive director of 3ABN Russia, my 00:03:44.55\00:03:48.89 sister in Jesus, and a mentor to us, and we thank you for 00:03:48.92\00:03:52.79 being here. - Oh, praise the Lord. Praise the Lord. Our 00:03:52.83\00:03:54.86 mentor is the Lord and we mentor one another and 00:03:54.90\00:04:00.30 support one another in the Lord. We are one in 00:04:00.34\00:04:03.24 Him. I learned so much from you. During this visit- 00:04:03.27\00:04:08.34 it is our second visit together. You will introduce 00:04:08.44\00:04:11.15 the guys just in a minute. We are learning so much. 00:04:11.21\00:04:14.75 You are introducing such wonderful things here, 00:04:14.78\00:04:18.55 so praise the Lord for all of us together. - You know, 00:04:18.59\00:04:21.06 sister Julia, I think God has given you many gifts... 00:04:21.09\00:04:23.16 - Yes. - ...and many talents. But I'm always, you know- 00:04:23.19\00:04:25.23 this is, again, talking about the electronics and 00:04:25.29\00:04:28.00 the age we live in. We can send an email and you get 00:04:28.03\00:04:30.97 it pretty quick! Isn't that amazing? I don't know-it 00:04:31.03\00:04:32.47 just goes thousands and thousands of miles. But God 00:04:32.57\00:04:35.34 has given you a gift in being able to give wise counsel. 00:04:35.44\00:04:41.04 When you send emails, Jill will email you, and Jill will 00:04:41.14\00:04:43.81 read the emails that you send back. God has given you 00:04:43.85\00:04:46.51 a tremendous gift and we thank you for being willing 00:04:46.55\00:04:48.75 to share those gifts that God has given to you. You've 00:04:48.78\00:04:51.89 blessed, I know Jill and myself, and of course, 00:04:51.92\00:04:54.92 many people there in Russia, too. What a blessing. 00:04:54.99\00:04:56.83 - It is an encouragement from the Lord. Thank you. 00:04:56.86\00:05:00.50 You're so busy here, Greg. We don't have very much 00:05:00.53\00:05:03.77 time to say such things to one another and it 00:05:03.80\00:05:07.30 really warms my heart when you say this to me. Praise 00:05:07.34\00:05:10.74 the Lord. - Thank you for your diligence and for 00:05:10.77\00:05:14.08 fulfilling the calling that God has for your life. I 00:05:14.14\00:05:17.48 think we're talking about heaven, but in eternity, 00:05:17.51\00:05:19.51 you'll know the full impact of your hard work and 00:05:19.55\00:05:21.85 effort. - It just- I know all the crowns will go to Christ. 00:05:21.88\00:05:27.06 - That's right. But how precious He is that He's dealing with us, 00:05:27.22\00:05:32.36 He's- I mean, He's surrounding us with His love, with His 00:05:32.46\00:05:37.60 grace... The ministry that we are privileged to be 00:05:37.70\00:05:42.27 involved in-3ABN, 3ABN Russia-we can say to 00:05:42.37\00:05:47.01 other people how precious God is, so I praise the Lord 00:05:47.11\00:05:52.68 for these opportunities. - Amen. Absolutely. I just 00:05:52.81\00:05:55.68 think that Julia is such an incredible blessing. She's 00:05:55.78\00:05:59.45 a woman of God, she's a woman of prayer, a woman 00:05:59.55\00:06:03.22 of faith, and I just- Greg is right. When she sends those 00:06:03.29\00:06:06.19 emails, she has great insight into people, into 00:06:06.26\00:06:10.10 situations, and great wisdom. I know God has called you 00:06:10.20\00:06:15.04 for such a time as this, you know?-to be involved 00:06:15.14\00:06:18.54 in the beginning of 3ABN Russia and as executive 00:06:18.61\00:06:21.88 director for so many years, and sitting next to you, 00:06:21.94\00:06:24.61 we could say is your right-hand man. Alexsei 00:06:24.68\00:06:27.52 Britov is the general manager of 3ABN Russia, and the 00:06:27.65\00:06:31.62 Lord has brought him in to stand in the gap and fill 00:06:31.75\00:06:35.66 a lot of those responsibilities for you. - Yes, that's 00:06:35.79\00:06:39.13 right. Alexsei's truly my right hand... You know, 00:06:39.23\00:06:42.93 no-just sitting here to my right. [laughter] You know, 00:06:43.03\00:06:47.64 the Lord puts people together to complement one another 00:06:47.70\00:06:52.27 in the ministry. Alexsei complements me so much. 00:06:52.37\00:06:56.38 We have different personalities but we both love the 00:06:56.51\00:07:00.25 Lord; we want to serve Him, and we just serve Him 00:07:00.35\00:07:03.32 together. Praise the Lord for that. - We can actually 00:07:03.39\00:07:06.35 call you, Alexsei, Pastor. Right? 'Cause God's- 00:07:06.42\00:07:10.19 you're a pastor and I think you still do some preaching; 00:07:10.26\00:07:13.29 is that right? How many years were you a pastor? 00:07:13.36\00:07:15.33 [speaks in Russian] 00:07:15.40\00:07:21.04 After he graduated from Zaoksky Theological Seminary, 00:07:21.40\00:07:25.04 he was a pastor for six years. [speaks more Russian] 00:07:25.07\00:07:33.92 "I'm a head elder in our church." [more Russian] 00:07:34.02\00:07:37.22 He preaches in the churches very often and, of course, 00:07:41.32\00:07:46.03 he loves preaching at 3ABN Russia through the programs. 00:07:46.13\00:07:50.50 [Russian] 00:07:50.60\00:08:00.14 The conference invites him to preach in different 00:08:00.71\00:08:04.15 churches, so he's sometimes, several Sabbaths, running; 00:08:04.25\00:08:08.75 visits different places; he preaches the Word of God 00:08:08.85\00:08:12.05 and he always promotes the cause of 3ABN Russia in 00:08:12.12\00:08:15.32 those places. - Amen. [Russian] 00:08:15.39\00:08:24.93 Sometimes he preaches in our church; sometimes, he 00:08:26.37\00:08:31.01 does the communion service for the congregation. 00:08:31.97\00:08:37.21 - Amen. - Thank you for your service. We appreciate it- 00:08:38.88\00:08:41.88 - Praise the Lord. - And yeah, for your role at 3ABN Russia. 00:08:41.95\00:08:44.05 - And Alexsei is a joy. You know, when we were there in 00:08:44.09\00:08:47.56 Russia this last fall, he has wonderful humor; you can tell 00:08:47.59\00:08:51.99 that the employees relate with him and enjoy him-and he 00:08:52.03\00:08:54.80 was our translator! We had such a wonderful time, so 00:08:54.83\00:08:58.20 it's a privilege to have you here, Alexsei. - Thank you. 00:08:58.23\00:09:01.34 - And sitting next to you is Vadim...Trusyuk. I hope 00:09:01.40\00:09:04.97 I got that right. [laughter] - Jill has learned it! 00:09:05.07\00:09:07.74 - Good job, baby! - Yeah! It took her a while. She is 00:09:08.38\00:09:13.82 so quick at catching new names, new last names; 00:09:13.88\00:09:18.15 she was amazing, how she remembered people there 00:09:18.22\00:09:20.46 in Russia and their relatives and the relations between 00:09:20.52\00:09:23.93 them. But for some reason, Vadim's name was difficult 00:09:23.99\00:09:27.93 for Jill to remember his last name-probably because 00:09:28.03\00:09:31.83 the emphasis goes on the last syllable, "Troo-SOOK." 00:09:31.93\00:09:35.24 - Right. And that was hard. I always wanted to say, 00:09:35.37\00:09:37.67 "TROO-sook" instead of "Troo-SOOK." Yes. 00:09:37.77\00:09:40.58 - So, you have learned it. [Vadim speaks in Russian] 00:09:40.64\00:09:47.78 No wonder it's been hard for you to remember my 00:09:47.92\00:09:50.59 name-many people in Russia pronounce my name in a 00:09:50.65\00:09:54.06 very weird way there. - So they don't even 00:09:54.12\00:09:56.59 pronounce it right...there. - I f- I feel better. Thank you. 00:09:56.62\00:10:00.90 [laughter] [Alexsei speaks in Russian] 00:10:00.96\00:10:07.00 - This is a Ukrainian name. - Oh! And Vadim is 00:10:07.10\00:10:10.27 production manager at 3ABN Russia and does an incredible 00:10:10.34\00:10:14.01 job with his team there. We were so blessed by our 00:10:14.14\00:10:18.15 time there and watching you work with your team. 00:10:18.21\00:10:20.42 - Yeah. He does a great job. Praise the Lord for him- 00:10:20.45\00:10:23.95 very dedicated, very open to- it is easy to work 00:10:23.99\00:10:32.19 with him as a team. He listens and he wants to 00:10:32.23\00:10:36.53 accomplish and he wants his personnel that are under 00:10:36.56\00:10:40.50 his responsibility to accomplish, so praise 00:10:40.54\00:10:43.94 the Lord for Vadim. - Amen. You were mentioning earlier, 00:10:43.97\00:10:47.48 Julia, about coming here and learning from the 3ABN 00:10:47.51\00:10:50.15 team, but you know we took Rodney and Brad, who are 00:10:50.18\00:10:52.81 our senior directors here- been here a long time. 00:10:52.85\00:10:54.88 They were back in Russia in 1992-hadn't been back 00:10:54.92\00:10:58.25 in 25 years, so we took them on the trip; we all 00:10:58.29\00:11:01.02 went together, and they were just commenting on what 00:11:01.06\00:11:03.63 we were able to learn and glean from your staff that 00:11:03.66\00:11:06.66 work in production and everywhere else there. 00:11:06.70\00:11:09.03 So, it was a blessing, I think, both ways. You come 00:11:09.06\00:11:11.80 here, we go there, and it's a blessing. - Yeah, that's 00:11:11.83\00:11:14.07 right. - Yeah, for sure. Now, we- 00:11:14.14\00:11:15.70 - You know- excuse me- - Go ahead. - When Danny 00:11:15.74\00:11:18.87 and Mollie were in Russia one day and we were in 00:11:18.91\00:11:22.21 the Red Square and Mollie saw St. Basil's Cathedral- 00:11:22.24\00:11:27.18 so beautiful-and- you have seen it; you were impressed 00:11:27.22\00:11:31.52 also. You searched-I mean, you went through everything 00:11:31.55\00:11:35.36 there. You searched all the sites. When Danny and 00:11:35.39\00:11:41.00 Mollie were there, Mollie said, "If the Russian crew 00:11:41.06\00:11:47.10 master skills, artistic talents, we're combined with an 00:11:47.14\00:11:52.84 American organization... What great results that would 00:11:52.87\00:11:56.95 bring!" And Danny said, "And we're a witness to 00:11:56.98\00:12:00.52 them! This is 3ABN Russia! We're- you know, the 00:12:00.55\00:12:06.62 artistic skills of the Russian people are combined 00:12:06.72\00:12:08.82 with an American organization." So praise the Lord for 00:12:08.89\00:12:11.93 3ABN Russia and for 3ABN. - Amen. Yep. It's definitely 00:12:12.03\00:12:15.50 a team effort for sure, so we've actually been 00:12:15.60\00:12:18.43 given a little intro here to our program for today; 00:12:18.53\00:12:20.84 there's going to be some video rolls-I think we have 00:12:20.94\00:12:22.57 like 6 or 7 of them-quite a few. We're going to go 00:12:22.67\00:12:25.37 to what's, really, an update of what's going on at 00:12:25.44\00:12:27.74 3ABN Russia. A couple of other neat little tidbits 00:12:27.84\00:12:30.28 will come out and we are going to go to some music 00:12:30.35\00:12:32.31 here shortly-I know you have a scripture-but our 00:12:32.38\00:12:34.72 music today is actually Tim Parton, and HE was 00:12:34.78\00:12:36.82 able to go on that trip along with others. I 00:12:36.89\00:12:38.85 know that it was a blessing for him, as well. You have 00:12:38.92\00:12:42.36 a scripture; maybe we should go to that and then 00:12:42.42\00:12:44.03 we'll go to the music. - Sure! This scripture is 00:12:44.06\00:12:45.79 Matthew 24-I'm sure you can quote it at home- 00:12:45.83\00:12:48.96 Matthew 24 verse 14. "And this gospel of the kingdom 00:12:49.03\00:12:53.13 will be preached in all the world as a witness 00:12:53.20\00:12:56.20 to all the nations, and then the end will come." 00:12:56.24\00:13:00.11 Why does that mean something to you all with 3ABN Russia- 00:13:00.21\00:13:03.75 that scripture? - Alexsei said before the program, 00:13:03.81\00:13:08.58 when we were talking about the scripture- he said that 00:13:08.65\00:13:12.65 there- [speaks in Russian] 00:13:12.75\00:13:17.86 In Russia-just in the country of Russia-there 00:13:17.89\00:13:21.30 are 190 nations which means there are different ethnic 00:13:21.36\00:13:27.34 groups with their own traditions; many of them 00:13:27.40\00:13:31.51 have their own languages but all of them speak 00:13:31.61\00:13:34.01 Russian. So when 3ABN reaches Russia, it reaches 190 00:13:34.08\00:13:41.28 nations. And, you know, the same thing's with the 00:13:41.38\00:13:44.65 other countries of the world! They also have many 00:13:44.75\00:13:47.42 nations, so when the Lord asked us to preach to- 00:13:47.49\00:13:51.09 He just gives us this commission to go and preach to every 00:13:51.19\00:13:54.26 kindred, tongue, and nation. In Russia, 00:13:54.33\00:13:58.30 190 are reached. - Wow. - Praise the Lord. Gospel 00:13:58.37\00:14:02.70 to the world; that's for sure. - There, we talk 00:14:02.80\00:14:04.37 about the former Soviet Union-it is much more. 00:14:04.44\00:14:06.51 They all speak Russian very well. - Wow. Praise 00:14:06.61\00:14:09.38 the Lord. The gospel- it's going, and that's 00:14:09.48\00:14:12.31 what we're going to talk about today: what God is 00:14:12.41\00:14:14.92 doing in and through 3ABN Russia-on satellite, many, 00:14:14.95\00:14:19.59 many cable companies have picked up the signal and 00:14:19.65\00:14:23.26 many people in Russia and around the world who speak 00:14:23.36\00:14:27.36 Russian are able to learn about the Lord Jesus Christ. 00:14:27.46\00:14:31.17 So, we're very excited about that. - That's 00:14:31.23\00:14:32.90 right! Let's go to our music. Tim Parton has put 00:14:33.03\00:14:35.34 a wonderful rendition together on the piano 00:14:35.40\00:14:37.77 entitled, "A Shelter in the Time of Storm." 00:14:37.87\00:14:40.61 Amen. - Amen. Wow. - Jesus makes us happy, 00:17:48.73\00:17:52.13 doesn't He? - Absolutely. He does. - Yeah, we hear 00:17:52.17\00:17:54.54 this; it's just... - Yup. - Uh-huh? 00:17:54.60\00:17:56.81 - Tim has a wonderful touch, doesn't he, with 00:17:56.91\00:17:58.64 the piano? Boy, it just makes you wanna...be happy! 00:17:58.74\00:18:01.41 Yeah! In the Lord, just like you mentioned. 00:18:01.44\00:18:02.78 "A Shelter in the Time of Storm." What a powerful 00:18:02.81\00:18:04.68 rendition-thank you so much, Tim. And in case 00:18:04.71\00:18:06.92 you're just joining us, we're almost halfway 00:18:06.98\00:18:08.78 through this hour already. It seems like it's gone by 00:18:08.82\00:18:11.39 so fast. [speaks more Russian] 00:19:28.26\00:19:35.80 On the other hand, we helped when Jean and 00:19:35.90\00:19:38.77 Patricia McClintock came to Russia to hold their 00:19:38.87\00:19:41.31 evangelistic campaigns. [Russian] 00:19:41.38\00:19:51.05 After I was a pastor for 6 years, I was in business 00:19:54.36\00:19:57.76 for 9 years. During those years, when the Lord gave 00:19:57.86\00:20:05.03 me an opportunity to financially support 3ABN 00:20:05.13\00:20:08.67 Russia, I always did it with all my heart. - So, you've 00:20:08.70\00:20:12.64 been associated with 3ABN Russia for many years- 00:20:12.67\00:20:14.78 with support and all of that. That's great. 00:20:14.84\00:20:17.01 [Russian] 00:20:17.08\00:20:20.05 I was a general manager for over 2 years. - Okay. You 00:20:20.32\00:20:23.79 guys there at 3ABN Russia. Amen. Good job. 00:20:29.62\00:20:32.66 But you're the production manager at 3ABN Russia 00:20:32.73\00:20:35.10 and have been a part of 3ABN Russia how many 00:20:35.16\00:20:37.13 years for you? [speaks in Russian] 00:20:37.27\00:20:41.50 September will be 12 years that I am 00:20:41.60\00:20:43.37 with 3ABN. - Wow. - I didn't know... [Vadim 00:20:43.41\00:20:46.14 speaks more Russian] 00:20:46.21\00:20:51.21 I came to 3ABN having just graduated from grade 00:20:51.28\00:20:54.98 school and started college. [more Russian] 00:20:55.02\00:21:03.73 And I'm thankful to 3ABN and I'm thankful to the 00:21:03.76\00:21:07.00 Lord that I grew up to be a mature person at 00:21:07.03\00:21:10.90 3ABN. [Russian] 00:21:10.93\00:21:16.54 I went through different- I climbed up a ladder- 00:21:16.60\00:21:21.54 as far as my professional career. I started just 00:21:21.61\00:21:24.31 as a cameraman. [more Russian] 00:21:24.38\00:21:31.65 And then the Lord brought me to a position of 00:21:31.69\00:21:34.76 production manager, and I praise the Lord for 00:21:34.82\00:21:37.63 that. - Amen.. - Well, you and your team do a 00:21:37.69\00:21:39.53 great job. You do very high quality work-and 00:21:39.59\00:21:42.40 it's nice because we may talk about that a little 00:21:42.46\00:21:43.93 later-but the government even- Russia's recognized 00:21:43.97\00:21:46.37 3ABN Russia for the quality of programs that 00:21:46.47\00:21:48.84 have come out. Well, we have a number of videos, 00:21:48.90\00:21:50.91 so sister Julia, why don't you set one of these up 00:21:50.97\00:21:53.58 up for us? - Yeah. You know, Greg and Jill have, 00:21:53.64\00:21:58.98 as I said- they wanted to know everything about the 00:21:59.05\00:22:02.78 sights of Russia that they could visit; but much 00:22:02.85\00:22:05.22 more than that, they wanted to know everything 00:22:05.32\00:22:07.46 about 3ABN Russia. Oh, I mean, they went to 00:22:07.56\00:22:10.66 every place. - It was fun. - They went to every 00:22:10.73\00:22:14.36 office. They met every person. They asked about- 00:22:14.40\00:22:19.33 I don't know, even the families of these people, 00:22:21.04\00:22:24.51 and they still remember that. So, we have prepared 00:22:24.54\00:22:26.88 several videos. One of them is Greg, Jill, and the 00:22:26.91\00:22:33.35 3ABN team-the wonderful group that came for our 00:22:33.38\00:22:38.92 25th celebration- 25th anniversary celebration. 00:22:38.99\00:22:42.72 I know that 3ABN has covered that in your 00:22:42.76\00:22:47.00 program 3ABN Today, but the footage that we are 00:22:47.06\00:22:49.80 going to show our dear viewers today is made 00:22:49.86\00:22:52.63 by 3ABN Russia. - Ooh, so this is different! 00:22:52.73\00:22:56.44 - So, if you recognize some places or something, you 00:22:56.50\00:22:58.71 may comment on that. - Should we roll it now? 00:22:58.77\00:23:03.24 - Yes! - Okay; all right. Let's roll that video now. 00:23:03.31\00:23:06.28 This is the first time for us to see- 00:23:06.31\00:23:08.05 - Yeah, your entry... - Oh, nice! This is coming 00:23:08.15\00:23:09.72 in! - Yeah. - This was the welcome! - Oh, that 00:23:09.78\00:23:13.36 was amazing. - I loved that! - You can see me with 00:23:13.42\00:23:15.76 my cell phone. [laughter] This is in your studio. A 00:23:15.86\00:23:21.56 dedication there. Wow. Yeah, it's just amazing 00:23:21.66\00:23:24.40 what God has done. There's Mr. Danny. - We went with 00:23:24.50\00:23:27.54 Danny and Yvonne. This was in the conference- 00:23:27.60\00:23:30.71 is that in the conference office? - Yup. That was 00:23:30.81\00:23:33.48 a nice gathering of the workers there. We were 00:23:33.58\00:23:35.94 so blessed. - That was incredible. - It was our 00:23:35.98\00:23:38.05 conference room for 3ABN Russia. - Yes, thank you. 00:23:38.11\00:23:40.38 - There's- Brad Walker was there. Yes. - Brad 00:23:40.45\00:23:41.88 and Rodney, and- - And I see... - Oh, 00:23:41.95\00:23:43.62 what a blessing. - Amen. Reggie and Ladye Love 00:23:43.72\00:23:45.25 Smith. - Some of the tour. Just beautiful. - Nice. 00:23:45.32\00:23:48.09 - Oh, this was (Greg and Jill together:) the school! 00:23:48.19\00:23:50.29 - That was wonderful. - That's with the conference 00:23:50.36\00:23:52.93 staff there. Yup, the president of the conference. 00:23:52.99\00:23:57.37 It's amazing how big the building is-3ABN Russia. 00:23:57.43\00:23:59.63 You can have the school. These are some of the 00:23:59.70\00:24:03.00 offices. - There's Anna. - There's outside. - In 00:24:03.10\00:24:06.54 front of the building. Aw! That's like walking on 00:24:06.61\00:24:09.71 memory lane! - Good job! Yes, absolutely. - You 00:24:09.78\00:24:12.18 know, you were there only one time so far, and 00:24:12.21\00:24:16.28 you still say that it's like home. - It is. - Did 00:24:16.32\00:24:19.02 it feel like home when you watched that? - Oh my, 00:24:19.05\00:24:20.96 great memories. Oh, yes. Yep. I liked how you said, 00:24:21.02\00:24:23.99 "So far." That means we'll make another trip over 00:24:24.06\00:24:25.59 there, yes. [laughter] - Oh, yes. We look forward 00:24:25.69\00:24:27.73 to that! [Alexsei begins speaking in Russian] 00:24:27.80\00:24:31.97 - America is as far from Russia as Russia is from 00:24:32.17\00:24:34.67 America. [laughter] - That's true. It's the 00:24:34.74\00:24:37.37 same distance, isn't it. - Yeah, that is right. So, 00:24:37.47\00:24:39.64 probably what he means to say is, "If we can 00:24:39.74\00:24:41.84 travel here..." - We can travel there. 00:24:41.94\00:24:44.05 That's right. What a wonderful trip, though. 00:24:44.15\00:24:46.38 We were- it's amazing to see, actually- 'cause we 00:24:46.45\00:24:48.68 showed shots of the school, 'cause the school is in 00:24:48.78\00:24:50.45 the building. - Yes! - The same building as the 00:24:50.52\00:24:53.02 studios, as the conference office, as all the other 00:24:53.12\00:24:56.46 production offices... - As the church, as the 00:24:56.56\00:24:58.26 apartments... - That's true. - Which just really 00:24:58.36\00:25:00.20 touched my heart. From the moment we got there-we 00:25:00.30\00:25:02.90 got off the plane-here was Julia; here was Alexsei 00:25:02.96\00:25:06.53 and here was everyone else just greeting us- as 00:25:06.60\00:25:09.17 soon as we came through customs- we came through 00:25:09.30\00:25:11.57 customs and they were there. We rented the bus 00:25:11.67\00:25:14.61 and we went through- we did a tour with so many 00:25:14.68\00:25:17.78 sights. But what touched my heart the most was 00:25:17.88\00:25:20.82 the sacrifice of the Russian people and the 00:25:20.92\00:25:24.05 love of the people, you know? The food that they 00:25:24.15\00:25:28.46 provided; and the hugs and the smiles and- the ministry 00:25:28.56\00:25:31.86 that takes place there is just incredible. - Oh, it is. 00:25:31.96\00:25:35.00 - It ministered to my heart being there. - Makes you 00:25:35.06\00:25:37.63 feel very welcomed and just well taken care of. 00:25:37.73\00:25:41.44 What a great trip. - You mentioned at your 00:25:41.54\00:25:44.41 introduction to this program about how you 00:25:44.47\00:25:47.34 sacrifi- how you donated money-how you sacrificed 00:25:47.48\00:25:49.98 your finances- - Oh, many people did. 00:25:50.05\00:25:51.98 - Yeah, for the sake of 3ABN Russia, and when we 00:25:52.01\00:25:56.25 had that meeting in the conference office that you 00:25:56.32\00:25:58.55 saw there, Greg was so very moved when he met 00:25:58.62\00:26:06.70 the conference president. Because when Greg was 00:26:06.76\00:26:09.43 donating the money-the conference president who 00:26:09.53\00:26:11.77 is a young guy- - We're the same age, 00:26:11.90\00:26:14.00 actually; born in the same year. - Yeah, the same age! 00:26:14.10\00:26:16.40 His heart was converted and given to Jesus, and so 00:26:16.50\00:26:19.94 now these two people meet: the one who gave 00:26:20.01\00:26:22.51 and the one who received the blessing through that 00:26:22.54\00:26:25.31 donation. - And here he is-the conference president. 00:26:25.35\00:26:27.68 It's just neat. It's neat; you just never know. 00:26:27.78\00:26:30.22 You just put it out there and say, "God, what 00:26:30.29\00:26:31.75 would you have me do?" and you put it out there 00:26:31.82\00:26:34.16 and let God do the multiplying. - Yeah. 00:26:34.22\00:26:36.02 Isn't that amazing. - So, we have some more videos. 00:26:36.06\00:26:38.63 - Oh, yes. Alexsei's going to introduce the second 00:26:38.73\00:26:41.46 one. - Okay! [Alexsei speaks in Russian] 00:26:41.56\00:26:47.50 The impressions? that we are going to have just 00:26:47.54\00:26:49.14 shared about how they felt in Russia... 00:26:49.20\00:26:52.01 [more Russian] 00:26:52.11\00:26:55.98 We would like to let our dear viewers see what 00:26:56.04\00:27:00.72 Greg and Jill saw there- just opening the curtain 00:27:00.78\00:27:02.82 a little bit. - Oh, good! [Russian] 00:27:02.88\00:27:07.69 So, what you will see- what the viewers will 00:27:07.72\00:27:10.53 see-is what Greg and Jill saw there, so we'll try 00:27:10.56\00:27:13.96 to comment on that for our viewers. -Okay! Good; all right. 00:27:14.06\00:27:16.67 Let's put our- yeah, roll that roll right now. 00:27:16.70\00:27:19.63 Okay. - This was the 25th celebration and our 00:27:21.34\00:27:26.91 production crew working among the audience. Here 00:27:27.04\00:27:30.58 is Alexsei hosting a program, our control room, Daniel 00:27:30.65\00:27:35.15 teaching a new cameraman. - This is the program 00:27:35.22\00:27:38.52 you host! - Yes, that's right. Visiting with 00:27:38.55\00:27:41.16 3ABN Russia. Yeah, I love this program. - Excellent. 00:27:41.29\00:27:45.49 - It's a beautiful set. - It's really nice. This 00:27:45.56\00:27:49.03 is your control room? - Control room, Alexsei 00:27:49.13\00:27:51.33 hosting another theological program. 00:27:51.40\00:27:53.54 Misha, cameraman. These are the newsbreaks. 00:27:55.10\00:27:59.11 This is the children's program at the school 00:28:01.11\00:28:04.31 of health for tiny tots. Alexsei, video director... 00:28:04.35\00:28:09.42 Alex and myself are hosting a new year program. 00:28:10.95\00:28:13.96 - This is a wonderful group of young people 00:28:14.06\00:28:17.36 from the south of Russia. This is the cooking program. 00:28:17.39\00:28:22.43 Here, what they are doing with the preparing- 00:28:22.50\00:28:26.23 - That's the stage. - Yes, that's the stage. 00:28:26.30\00:28:28.97 This was our preparation for Calvin Taylor's 00:28:29.04\00:28:31.57 concert. This is another part of our new year 00:28:31.61\00:28:35.84 program when we went outside. We taped all 00:28:35.88\00:28:39.31 that-it was cold, but it was so nice. We 00:28:39.35\00:28:41.82 greeted the viewers from the outside. 00:28:41.92\00:28:46.12 Other programs... These are the youth programs. 00:28:46.22\00:28:50.76 All this is possible due to joining hands together, 00:28:50.83\00:28:55.33 discussing what is in our hearts so that we can 00:28:55.43\00:28:59.60 bring more and more of God's plans through the 00:28:59.67\00:29:04.34 programs. Here are the new programs which you 00:29:04.41\00:29:08.44 haven't seen, and some of them you have already 00:29:08.54\00:29:10.31 seen before. We are looking forward to the 00:29:10.38\00:29:14.25 time when we can talk more about all the new 00:29:14.35\00:29:17.35 programs that we have created in the past few 00:29:17.42\00:29:21.02 years. They are really, very interesting. People 00:29:21.12\00:29:24.19 are creative, they produce a lot of good, interesting 00:29:24.29\00:29:28.76 programming. - Yeah. Amen. A wide variety. 00:29:28.86\00:29:32.20 - Yeah. - Very nice. So we saw some of those 00:29:32.30\00:29:36.07 shots with the snow. That was not fake snow. 00:29:36.10\00:29:39.24 - No! That was- - Real Russian snow. 00:29:39.31\00:29:41.61 It looks very cold. When we were there, there 00:29:41.68\00:29:45.55 was just a few little bit of snowflakes-I think 00:29:45.61\00:29:47.42 when we were in Red Square, was it?-just the 00:29:47.48\00:29:49.25 one evening, and that was only- we were there in 00:29:49.35\00:29:52.49 October. - We were. - So I can only imagine the 00:29:52.55\00:29:54.46 middle of winter. But, just beautiful programming. 00:29:54.52\00:29:56.66 Just great quality, again, and I know many people 00:29:56.73\00:29:59.66 are being blessed. - Uh-huh. - How many programs- 00:29:59.76\00:30:01.83 I don't know who wants to answer this-how many 00:30:01.90\00:30:03.53 programs do you produce a year? And do you do 00:30:03.57\00:30:07.77 a series? Like here at 3ABN, we would do 13-part 00:30:07.84\00:30:10.87 series or 26-part. [Julia translates] 00:30:10.94\00:30:20.72 We do about 20 hours of programming a month. 00:30:21.88\00:30:26.49 This is what we can say, so we may multiply by 00:30:26.55\00:30:29.39 12. - Amen! [speaks in Russian] 00:30:29.49\00:30:35.10 - Yeah, sometimes 22, 23 programs a month. I mean 00:30:35.16\00:30:38.60 hours! Hours. - Amen. - Yeah, fantastic. 00:30:38.67\00:30:43.44 - Yeah. We try- of course, we want new programming 00:30:43.51\00:30:48.11 on the air all the time, but we rerun the old 00:30:48.18\00:30:51.21 programs a lot and- well, developing our 00:30:51.28\00:30:54.95 programming as much as we can. There are some 00:30:54.98\00:30:56.69 programs that need more time to produce them. 00:30:56.75\00:30:59.75 There are some programs that need less time to 00:30:59.82\00:31:02.19 produce them, but I'm so happy for the new 00:31:02.22\00:31:04.89 programming. When Alexsei became the 00:31:04.93\00:31:07.60 general manager of 3ABN Russia, the new series 00:31:07.70\00:31:12.33 just flourished. We have many, many new series. 00:31:12.43\00:31:15.87 Some of them are in the same and previous sets, 00:31:15.97\00:31:19.41 and some of them are in completely new sets with 00:31:19.54\00:31:22.51 completely new graphics. So, this is a bigger 00:31:22.61\00:31:26.21 accomplishment of working with Alexsei-he inspires 00:31:26.31\00:31:28.75 people; people are enthusiastic; their 00:31:28.85\00:31:32.22 talents are all- they're willing to serve the 00:31:32.29\00:31:37.89 Lord with their talents, so, praise the Lord 00:31:37.99\00:31:40.06 for these programs. [Alexsei speaks in Russian] 00:31:40.10\00:31:49.87 - And the Lord has blessed us with new workers, 00:31:49.94\00:31:52.44 with new talents, new people-He just has 00:31:52.47\00:31:55.91 brought the right people so that we can make 00:31:55.94\00:31:59.71 new programs. [speaks more Russian] 00:31:59.78\00:32:09.52 - Alexsei emphasizes that I'm very detailed as far 00:32:26.17\00:32:29.48 as the sets, as far as graphics, as far as 00:32:29.54\00:32:32.41 the style of taping is concerned, so he's saying 00:32:32.51\00:32:36.18 whatever new set you see, whatever new graphics 00:32:36.25\00:32:40.36 you see, all this has gone through Julia. 00:32:40.46\00:32:43.49 That's right-sometimes it's hard for me when 00:32:43.59\00:32:46.63 I have one vision and other workers have a 00:32:46.73\00:32:49.63 different vision, but I still have it on my 00:32:49.73\00:32:53.47 heart that I won't- for the programs to look 00:32:53.57\00:32:56.91 the best, to be the funnest, and I personally 00:32:56.97\00:33:00.38 wouldn't be able to create anything. I mean, I'm not 00:33:00.44\00:33:02.98 a creator. I'm a critique. This what I would say, 00:33:03.08\00:33:06.31 but we have such wonderful personnel, 00:33:06.41\00:33:09.05 such talented people in graphics,? 00:33:09.18\00:33:13.32 in program development, 00:33:13.39\00:33:16.66 Well, a lot of new people. It was wrong to 00:33:16.73\00:33:21.60 start mentioning names because I should mention 00:33:21.70\00:33:24.53 ALL of them-each one of them in their own area. 00:33:24.63\00:33:28.17 So, yeah. We are a great team. Praise the Lord. 00:33:28.27\00:33:32.14 - We're creating and Dr. Julia makes it more and 00:33:32.21\00:33:36.21 more perfect. [laughter] 00:33:36.34\00:33:38.45 - I don't know if they're all happy about- I 00:33:38.55\00:33:43.02 mean, if they're always happy about that... But 00:33:43.12\00:33:45.49 we work together and we reach good standards. 00:33:45.62\00:33:48.62 - Amen. That's good. You know, Vadim, I 00:33:48.72\00:33:50.06 noticed in the last footage- the roll that we 00:33:50.13\00:33:53.60 showed, I saw that you were doing more camerawork 00:33:53.70\00:33:57.27 outside, which is different, because we 00:33:57.33\00:33:59.93 have these studio cameras that I'm looking into 00:34:00.04\00:34:02.60 right here, but then you're taking some cameras 00:34:02.67\00:34:04.84 outside for your New Years. Are you trying 00:34:04.94\00:34:08.78 to do more remote shooting? [Julia translates] 00:34:08.88\00:34:13.95 - Yeah. I would say that we don't feel like we 00:34:14.52\00:34:17.09 do enough of that. We want to do more- 00:34:17.15\00:34:19.69 [speaks in Russian] - Yeah. You started 00:34:19.75\00:34:25.36 talking to Vadim and Vadim wanted to introduce 00:34:25.43\00:34:27.93 one more video which shows a different aspect 00:34:27.96\00:34:30.67 of our life there. - Yes, Vadim; what is 00:34:30.73\00:34:32.57 that? [Vadim speaks in Russian] 00:34:32.63\00:34:39.87 - Today, we are not talking only about how 00:34:39.91\00:34:41.24 we produce video and radio programs. [Vadim continues] 00:34:41.28\00:34:45.45 - Not only how we spread them and distribute 00:34:45.51\00:34:47.72 them. [continues some more] - We also want 00:34:47.78\00:34:53.25 to tell you that when a certain time comes, 00:34:53.32\00:34:55.09 our workers, no matter what position they're in, 00:34:57.43\00:34:59.79 they change their clothes, take the construction 00:34:59.89\00:35:05.83 instruments, and become painters and carpenters 00:35:05.93\00:35:09.27 and builders and bricklayers. This is what our next 00:35:09.34\00:35:13.98 video is about. 00:35:14.04\00:35:15.94 - So, we don't have people-professionals- 00:35:22.42\00:35:24.92 we don't have to pay much money for that; we 00:35:25.09\00:35:28.12 just do it with our own strength. Vadim 00:35:28.22\00:35:30.89 also says that the second part of the video will be 00:35:30.96\00:35:33.66 a little funny. We sped it up. You'll see how 00:35:33.73\00:35:38.87 we build new sets. - Okay. So let's go to 00:35:39.00\00:35:41.90 that footage now. I believe this one is 00:35:41.97\00:35:43.51 full audio. Let's go to that. 00:35:43.61\00:35:44.97 - Wow. That is impressive. I like the 00:37:21.77\00:37:24.37 time-lapse, as well. I mean, just amazing. 00:37:24.47\00:37:26.57 And like you said, Vadim, it's just that you 00:37:26.68\00:37:29.71 can wear your suit and tie, and then change your 00:37:29.78\00:37:33.78 clothes, and be building a set. I think that's neat, 00:37:33.92\00:37:36.79 because what that does is building teamwork, isn't 00:37:36.85\00:37:38.89 it? Everyone gets in there and does the project 00:37:38.95\00:37:40.76 together as a group. Beautifully well-done. 00:37:40.86\00:37:43.29 - Yes. That's right! So, as I was saying- I 00:37:43.36\00:37:47.00 always keep saying that God brings all the 00:37:47.10\00:37:49.76 necessary talents into His ministry. When 00:37:49.83\00:37:52.67 something is missing, then he brings a person 00:37:52.77\00:37:55.44 with those talents. If a person doesn't want to 00:37:55.50\00:37:59.14 use the talents, then the person goes to 00:37:59.21\00:38:01.64 other places. Well, this is how it happens. 00:38:01.71\00:38:05.71 I would say that Alexsei is one of those 00:38:05.85\00:38:08.88 examples how the Lord brings the right talents. 00:38:08.98\00:38:12.05 As he has mentioned, he used to be a pastor 00:38:12.15\00:38:15.76 for a long time. His talent of promoting 00:38:15.89\00:38:21.60 things grew as he was a businessman. So, in the 00:38:21.76\00:38:29.07 next roll- he's going to talk more about the 00:38:29.14\00:38:31.44 next roll. It's kind of a surprise roll, so 00:38:31.54\00:38:34.51 I will let Alexsei talk about that. [speaks in 00:38:34.61\00:38:37.65 Russian] - When I was a young 00:38:37.85\00:38:43.28 pastor... [continues] I understood that 00:38:43.35\00:38:48.16 Russia is such a country where the constitution 00:38:48.29\00:38:53.93 guarantees the freedom of conscience and the 00:38:54.06\00:38:56.00 freedom of speech. But I also understood 00:38:56.10\00:39:00.27 that it needs to be fought for, because 00:39:00.37\00:39:07.54 there are such forces- there are certain 00:39:07.68\00:39:09.78 religious organizations- that claim that they 00:39:09.88\00:39:13.88 are exclusive. And smaller denominations- 00:39:13.98\00:39:21.92 and there are not as many Adventists in 00:39:22.02\00:39:23.73 Russia-could have their word among the 00:39:23.83\00:39:29.76 people. They need to stand for their rights. 00:39:29.83\00:39:32.00 And I found out that there is such an 00:39:36.47\00:39:38.14 international organization- International Association 00:39:38.17\00:39:41.01 for Religious Freedom. I was 24 years of age 00:39:41.11\00:39:49.45 at that time, and this organization was started 00:39:49.52\00:39:52.55 by Seventh-Day Adventists worldwide. So I thought, 00:39:52.65\00:39:55.36 why not open a chapter of this organization 00:39:55.42\00:39:59.43 in Nizhny Novgorod? I got a provision 00:39:59.49\00:40:06.60 from Euro-Asia Division that I tried to organize 00:40:06.67\00:40:09.97 a chapter of that organization. And then 00:40:10.07\00:40:17.75 for a year and a half, I worked with different 00:40:17.81\00:40:19.91 denominations of Nizhny Novgorod, trying to unite 00:40:19.98\00:40:22.88 them into that chapter, letting them know that 00:40:22.95\00:40:32.79 if we are just separate, we cannot be a 00:40:32.89\00:40:39.90 success, fighting for religious freedom; we 00:40:40.00\00:40:42.70 should be together. So, if we work together 00:40:42.77\00:40:50.18 standing for the values of religious freedom, then 00:40:50.25\00:40:55.78 it will be effective. The Lord knows the end 00:40:57.49\00:41:05.96 from the beginning and He took care of it that this 00:41:06.06\00:41:09.50 chapter was organized in Nizhny Novgorod. - Amen. 00:41:09.56\00:41:13.87 - Because only 2-3 months after this chapter of the 00:41:17.84\00:41:21.94 International Association of Religious Freedom was 00:41:22.04\00:41:24.55 organized in Nizhny Novgorod. Some religious 00:41:24.58\00:41:30.52 forces that were against freedom for other 00:41:30.59\00:41:33.52 denominations decided to adopt a law on the local 00:41:33.66\00:41:41.23 level, restricting religious freedom for 00:41:41.33\00:41:49.10 Protestant churches, including Seventh-Day 00:41:49.20\00:41:54.44 Adventists. At that time, our chapter was 00:41:54.51\00:42:00.38 registered already and we responded very 00:42:00.45\00:42:08.96 quickly as that chapter was newly organized. 00:42:09.06\00:42:11.46 We invited mass media and presented our 00:42:11.53\00:42:15.76 position on what we think about the Seventh-Day 00:42:15.86\00:42:20.14 Adventist Church being called to tell? 00:42:20.24\00:42:22.54 that those forces tried to do as well as other 00:42:22.67\00:42:25.54 Protestant organizations. 00:42:25.64\00:42:27.08 I was head of that chapter in Nizhny Novgorod, and 00:42:39.92\00:42:46.29 we invited mass media to our city. Then, what you 00:42:46.39\00:42:52.50 will see in the first part of the next video is 00:42:52.57\00:42:55.04 news on a secular channel in Nizhny Novgorod 00:42:55.10\00:43:00.71 where they very favorably presented our position 00:43:00.78\00:43:05.28 on what is really constitutional and what is 00:43:05.38\00:43:08.75 against the law. 00:43:08.82\00:43:10.39 We wrote an open letter to the administration of 00:43:18.19\00:43:21.26 the city and their attempt of those 00:43:21.33\00:43:23.23 forces, and those forces were significant. That 00:43:23.30\00:43:27.40 was a police academy of Nizhny Novgorod. 00:43:27.50\00:43:31.04 The police academy was influenced by some 00:43:31.11\00:43:33.84 churches there to recognize every 00:43:33.94\00:43:36.38 Protestant church at 00:43:36.48\00:43:39.15 So we wrote an open letter, we sent it to the 00:43:39.21\00:43:41.38 administration of Nizhny Novgorod-and as a result 00:43:41.45\00:43:45.19 of that, the administration ignored all those previous 00:43:45.29\00:43:49.39 decisions of that police academy and of those 00:43:49.49\00:43:51.96 forces who were against religious freedom. So, 00:43:52.09\00:43:56.03 Alexsei has presented the first part of that video, 00:43:56.13\00:43:58.13 and the second part of that video shows how 3ABN 00:43:58.23\00:44:01.60 Russia today works for promoting religious freedom 00:44:01.70\00:44:08.64 for our sake so that more companies can take our 00:44:08.71\00:44:12.65 programs. This needs to be proclaimed. People 00:44:12.71\00:44:15.95 need to hear that we're about good things; we're 00:44:16.02\00:44:20.86 about improving the society. The cable companies 00:44:20.96\00:44:24.83 respond positively to it. - Amen. So, should we go to 00:44:24.89\00:44:28.13 that footage now? - Yeah. - Okay, let's roll that 00:44:28.20\00:44:30.33 footage now regarding religious freedom. - This is 00:44:30.40\00:44:33.60 the beginning of that video roll. This is a 00:44:33.64\00:44:36.20 sitting of that chapter of the International 00:44:36.30\00:44:40.84 Association of Religious Freedom. These are parts 00:44:40.91\00:44:43.45 of the police academy meeting. This is the open 00:44:43.55\00:44:49.32 letter that they wrote. - And that's you, Alexsei. 00:44:49.42\00:44:52.39 - Yes! And that's Alexsei! And this is today-our 00:44:52.49\00:44:56.79 current situation. We participate as mass media 00:44:56.86\00:45:00.46 in different events, like 500 years of Protestant 00:45:00.56\00:45:05.13 Reformation, Prayer Breakfast on the country 00:45:05.20\00:45:10.97 level. And others- you saw Alexsei taking 00:45:11.07\00:45:14.21 interviews from the prominent people-representatives of 00:45:14.28\00:45:17.21 different religions as well as, for example, first 00:45:17.28\00:45:20.52 deputy head of the administration of the 00:45:20.62\00:45:23.22 president of Russia, a reverend on internal 00:45:23.32\00:45:26.49 affairs to the president of Russia, head cardiac 00:45:26.59\00:45:35.66 surgeon of the whole country. Then, we put 00:45:35.76\00:45:38.80 these interviews together, we put them on our 00:45:38.90\00:45:41.70 programming so that people are more favorable 00:45:41.77\00:45:45.04 in the non-mainstream Seventh-Day Adventist 00:45:45.11\00:45:47.91 programming, then we put promos for the cable 00:45:48.01\00:45:52.51 companies, and the cable companies are much more 00:45:52.61\00:45:56.15 open to taking us for rebroadcasting. - Wow. 00:45:56.22\00:46:00.89 Praise the Lord. You know, God's timing is perfect, 00:46:00.99\00:46:03.02 isn't it? So, yes, go ahead. [speaks in Russian] 00:46:03.09\00:46:10.53 We are doing this not to promote ecumenical 00:46:10.60\00:46:13.10 ideas; not trying to play games-trying to 00:46:13.20\00:46:18.57 unite with the state- not at all. [Alexsei continues] 00:46:18.64\00:46:25.95 We do it for the sake of cable companies, that 00:46:26.05\00:46:28.98 they take our programs; that they see that we 00:46:29.08\00:46:32.19 are recognized on high levels. So, this is our 00:46:32.25\00:46:36.52 own purpose, and it works. We have anchors in the 00:46:36.62\00:46:40.63 cable companies. Well, we have a few more minutes 00:46:40.73\00:46:44.00 left-so sorry about that! Let us have a quick 00:46:44.10\00:46:51.04 look at how the Russian workers greet you. 00:46:51.11\00:46:54.84 - Oh, wonderful. I want to see if I can recognize 00:46:54.94\00:46:59.21 their na- this is Tatiana! - Right! Oh, we 00:47:16.33\00:47:19.47 know Mikhail. - Yes! Your favorite Mikhail, the 00:47:19.53\00:47:21.24 graphics editing. - And Angie! - Yes! This is 00:47:21.34\00:47:23.97 Angie! She took all those beautiful pictures. - And 00:47:24.07\00:47:27.08 Bogdan. - That's right! - Sasha and Olga! This 00:47:27.18\00:47:30.75 is nice. - You are correct! Jill, she remembers 00:47:30.81\00:47:33.05 all. - Velina, program developer. - Valery? 00:47:33.15\00:47:36.99 - Valery. - And Alexsei. - Engineer. - And Max! 00:47:37.09\00:47:40.42 - Max, cameraman and duplicates video disks. 00:47:40.56\00:47:45.19 - Tatiana. I am sorry, she is not- I'll say it later. 00:47:47.63\00:47:52.43 - Lina and Mikhail. Julia...and Julia. 00:47:52.53\00:47:57.17 Really great producer. - And Lina and Lina. 00:47:57.27\00:48:00.48 - Accounting. - Angie. Olga. - Satellite department. 00:48:00.54\00:48:04.11 - Yes, and Irene. Alexsei and Irene. - Irene is 00:48:04.21\00:48:09.25 sound producer. - Wow. - Praise the Lord. 00:48:09.35\00:48:11.72 - I cannot believe you know- no wonder she's general 00:48:11.85\00:48:15.46 manager of 3ABN here! She remembers everything! 00:48:15.56\00:48:19.69 - They helped coach me a little bit, but I do remember 00:48:19.79\00:48:22.80 faces. It's just so incredible to see the 00:48:22.86\00:48:26.07 team that you have the privilege of working with. 00:48:26.13\00:48:28.84 Incredible people. - Jill didn't make a single mistake 00:48:28.94\00:48:33.04 and I made a mistake- I said Tatiana was in marketing 00:48:33.11\00:48:36.21 but Tatiana is not in marketing. She's in 00:48:36.34\00:48:37.98 video programming. [laughter] - But again, it seems like 00:48:38.01\00:48:42.75 your staff wear multiple hats. There are many things, 00:48:42.82\00:48:45.99 and what a great privilege- good to see 00:48:46.05\00:48:47.62 them all again, right? - Yes! - Want to go to 00:48:47.72\00:48:50.49 something else? - Yes! There is the final video 00:48:50.59\00:48:53.13 of the map of our accomplishments and 00:48:53.26\00:48:55.43 you may probably want to talk about 3ABN Russia 00:48:55.53\00:48:57.40 in general while we show- - Should we go to that 00:48:57.50\00:49:00.77 now? - Yep. Look at what you see. This is the coverage 00:49:00.84\00:49:05.51 of our satellites. They cover the whole of ex-Soviet 00:49:05.61\00:49:08.84 Union! And see? We are now on 118 cable companies 00:49:08.94\00:49:14.95 rebroadcasting our 24/7 signal. - Wow, all those 00:49:15.05\00:49:17.39 little red dots? - Yes! All the red dots. - In 402 00:49:17.49\00:49:20.99 Russian cities- this is the accomplishment of the 00:49:21.06\00:49:25.56 Lord. We wouldn't be able to do that, but He 00:49:25.66\00:49:28.13 does it. As we're bringing people like 00:49:28.20\00:49:30.37 Alexsei who helps promote 3ABN Russia 00:49:30.47\00:49:33.27 through those different cable companies, bringing 00:49:33.37\00:49:35.87 people like Vadim who organizes processes there 00:49:35.97\00:49:39.31 on an excellent level, bringing all those artists, 00:49:39.41\00:49:42.68 and the creative people who do the super programming 00:49:42.78\00:49:45.65 for the glory of God. - Amen. - And it continues 00:49:45.71\00:49:48.95 to grow. I mean, that is just amazing what God 00:49:49.05\00:49:51.52 is doing. I mean, every time we get a report 00:49:51.62\00:49:53.39 from sister Julia and what's going on there, it's 00:49:53.46\00:49:55.22 just amazing because doors are opening in unbelievable 00:49:55.32\00:49:58.16 ways, and you just have to say, "Praise be to the 00:49:58.23\00:50:01.26 Lord," because we don't know who these people 00:50:01.36\00:50:04.27 are in these homes and these cities that are 00:50:04.37\00:50:05.90 getting reached by the gospel of Jesus Christ. 00:50:05.93\00:50:08.30 I know all this, though, costs money, so I think we 00:50:08.40\00:50:11.27 want to talk a little bit about that, as well. 00:50:11.37\00:50:13.11 - When did 3ABN Russia launch on satellite? I know 00:50:13.24\00:50:17.61 it's $9,000 a month for 3ABN Russia to be 00:50:17.68\00:50:21.78 on satellite, and then, of course, the cable 00:50:21.88\00:50:24.09 companies can take that signal. But when did we 00:50:24.19\00:50:26.79 launch- how long was it? - We launched at 00:50:26.89\00:50:28.39 the end of 2013. At that time, it was $12,000. 00:50:28.52\00:50:32.49 Then, another of Alexsei's achievements- 00:50:32.59\00:50:35.46 we negotiated to $9,000 and got on two 00:50:35.56\00:50:39.03 Russian satellites. It is amazing what the 00:50:39.13\00:50:43.30 Lord is doing. But now we need $9,000 a month 00:50:43.41\00:50:46.61 to keep on satellite, and I know that 3ABN 00:50:46.78\00:50:49.21 doesn't have that money available. [Alexsei speaks] 00:50:49.28\00:50:55.45 And $9,000 for two satellites is not a high 00:50:55.52\00:50:59.69 price. - It's not at all. I agree with you, 'cause 00:50:59.79\00:51:02.06 I know we deal with satellites here. What 00:51:02.16\00:51:04.06 we want to do is put up the address for 3ABN 00:51:04.13\00:51:07.23 Russia. As we just mentioned, it is $9,000 00:51:07.30\00:51:10.20 a month for the gospel to be able to be spread all 00:51:10.30\00:51:14.40 over the ex-Soviet Union for people to hear the 00:51:14.54\00:51:17.54 gospel in their own language. So, if the 00:51:17.61\00:51:19.37 Lord puts on your heart to support, maybe you 00:51:19.47\00:51:21.84 can give a whole month's worth. Maybe you say, "I 00:51:21.94\00:51:25.41 can give $10 a month." That will make an incredible 00:51:25.51\00:51:28.12 difference. Just mark your gift "3ABN Russia" 00:51:28.25\00:51:31.99 and we're also going to put up their contact 00:51:32.09\00:51:33.92 information. If you want to support what they're 00:51:34.06\00:51:36.42 doing there-not only the satellite-but what's 00:51:36.56\00:51:38.76 taking place there in Russia, here is how you 00:51:38.86\00:51:41.40 can do just that. 00:51:41.50\00:51:43.33 Your support can help keep 3ABN Russia on 00:51:48.74\00:51:51.07 satellite and on cable as they reach millions of 00:51:51.14\00:51:53.98 Russian-speaking viewers and listeners all over that vast 00:51:54.08\00:51:56.58 continent. Satellites not only bring the gospel to home 00:51:56.64\00:52:00.22 satellite dishes but also to the 122 cable companies that 00:52:00.28\00:52:04.99 rebroadcast our signal.
