I always think about that time 00:17 when Dr. Kellerman came back from that sermon 00:20 and he was compelled to start Bethesda Medical Mission, 00:23 and just the fact that he was listening so intently 00:27 to what was being said 00:28 and how he was able to derive that character of mercy 00:34 of what Bethesda meant, 00:36 and what he wanted to do about it 00:38 and I always think, "Suppose if he came home 00:41 and he had that... that burning in his heart 00:43 and he let that fire go out, 00:45 and he just decided, 00:46 "Ah, I'm not going to do anything about it" 00:48 and that is what I would love for everyone to see 00:52 and to feel from what I was saying is that 00:54 if you have a calling in your heart 00:57 and you feel like there's something that you need to do, 00:59 especially when it comes to serving someone else 01:02 or blessing other people, 01:04 please go out and do it, 01:05 I mean, if you feel from this interview that you think that, 01:08 "Yes, I would love to join Bethesda Medical" 01:10 or, "Yes, I would like to 01:12 financially help Bethesda Medical" 01:14 please, just get out... do what you can... 01:17 give us a call... we'll find something for you to do 01:20 because I think when God's calling on our hearts... 01:22 that's the time that we have to move 01:24 and we have to do something about it, 01:26 the other thing is... 01:27 Bethesda Medical is a great Organization. 01:29 I am so proud to be here 01:31 to be able to talk with you about it, 01:33 and to be able to share with your community 01:35 about how wonderful God has blessed us 01:38 and how we're able to bless other people. 01:40 So, I am praying and hoping that Bethesda Medical will grow 01:44 after all these years of our service and what we've done 01:48 and that there's much more wonderful things to come. 01:51 You know, I heard Pastor say the other day 01:54 that there are so many times people will come 01:57 and hear a sermon 01:58 and they say, "Boy! that was a good sermon" 02:00 and nothing happens... 02:01 so what he did is... 02:03 on his bulletin, he has added three questions 02:06 and those three questions with a little space after them 02:09 are: What new thing did you learn today? 02:12 What old thing were you reminded of? 02:14 and, What do you plan to do about it? 02:17 Kareen: Exactly. 02:18 The Word of God is living and active 02:20 if we're living and active, 02:23 when that Word comes on us, 02:25 it is meant to motivate us, it's meant to get us up 02:30 and praise God for this... the good doctor 02:34 and how he responded 02:35 and I'm just so excited about the passion 02:38 that you have for this ministry 02:41 and just want to thank you for what you do for the Lord. 02:43 Kareen: Thank you. 02:44 Shelley: Thank you for being here. 02:46 Well, our prayer for those of you at home 02:48 is that the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, 02:51 the love of the Father 02:53 and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit 02:55 will be with you... not just today 02:58 but every day through eternity. 03:00 God bless. |
