00:02 that we haven't shocked too much today. 00:04 But it is a conversation we need to have. 00:05 We do. 00:07 Jen, just talk to us for a moment 00:10 about the sacredness of sex. 00:11 What are we trying to do with this program... 00:13 What we're trying to do is 00:14 we're trying to put a spotlight 00:16 on God's ideal for human sexuality. 00:19 His design for human sexuality, 00:21 and then we're going to talk about... 00:23 We're going to, you know, sort of reinforce 00:25 that spotlight or that design by talking about 00:29 what happens when we deviate from it, 00:31 some of the fallout of that, 00:33 and then we want to create a movement back to that ideal 00:35 and encourage people on the Lord 00:37 that they can experience radical transformations 00:39 through the grace and power of God 00:41 and get back to His original design. 00:43 Amen. Jay? 00:45 Well, you know, we know 00:47 that God is not the author of confusion, 00:48 and so this program being called "Intimate Clarity" 00:52 is providing clarity on God's divine design, 00:55 and so if you've ever departed, God wants you back. 01:00 Amen. 01:02 You know, I want to read something, 01:03 1 Thessalonians 4:33. 01:05 It says, "For this is the will of God," 01:07 Paul wrote, "your sanctification," 01:09 that means, being set apart from the worldly things, 01:13 set apart for God, 01:14 "that you should abstain from sexual immorality 01:17 and each one of you know how to possess his own vessel 01:20 and sanctification and honor, not in passion of lust, 01:24 like the Gentiles 01:25 who do not know God," and I wished... 01:27 Well, let me go on, 01:29 "that no one should take advantage of 01:31 and defraud his brother or his sister in this manner, 01:35 because God is the avenger of such." 01:37 We are defrauding each other if we don't understand this. 01:42 Thank you so much for doing this series. 01:45 Thank you so much for being here today, 01:47 and thank you for helping me muddle 01:50 through what could be a difficult topic. 01:53 Our prayer for you at home 01:54 is that the grace of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ, 01:57 the love of the Father, 01:58 and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit 01:59 will be with you always. |
