00:03 Shelly, in the last minute and change 00:05 that we have, talk about a couple of things, 00:08 one, prayer and the prayer lists 00:09 you were talking about. 00:11 And then you were telling me 00:12 this great story about Sacramento Academy, 00:14 walk me through that. 00:16 And in fact, talk to the camera 00:17 so that other people kind of get your burden. 00:18 Sure, thank you. 00:20 So Sacramento Adventists Academy, 00:21 they chose to help children in our assistance program. 00:24 So each child in each class of kindergarten sponsors 00:27 a kindergarten child. 00:28 First grade sponsors a first grade child. 00:30 And they move along each grade with the child in Uganda, 00:34 and they communicate with them through letters. 00:36 And so one year, as academy, 00:38 the 12th graders were graduating 00:40 after academy they go on 00:41 to wherever university they're going to, 00:43 what they did is they did a fundraiser, 00:45 and they raised the money to put that child 00:47 that they sponsored through university. 00:50 And so it's just an amazing thing 00:52 to have this tree on the wall 00:53 with all the different pictures of the kids 00:55 they're sponsoring. 00:56 Yeah, and the other thing 00:57 is prayer you were talking about. 00:59 Yes, so if you can't go to Uganda, 01:01 if you don't have the money to sponsor a child, 01:03 if you don't have the energy to volunteer here, 01:06 the most powerful thing is prayer, 01:08 so we have prayer partners 01:10 that we send out prayer request lists too, 01:11 and then you just help pray for our needs 01:14 so that God will provide. 01:15 I think the academy thing is just really cool. 01:18 That's a neat thing. 01:19 A first grade class sponsors a first grader, 01:21 second grade class sponsors a second grader, 01:24 so that you move 01:25 with that child through each year, 01:26 and then you graduate together. 01:28 That's really, really neat. I really, really like that. 01:31 And, of course, the ministry can use your prayers, 01:33 we could always... 01:35 You can't pray too much, you can't pray too hard, 01:36 you can't pray too long. 01:38 And any ministry for the Lord 01:41 could certainly be bathed in prayer. 01:43 Well, our time has fast slipped into eternity. 01:46 Allow me now in closing 01:47 to wish you both grace and peace 01:49 through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. 01:51 We'll see you again soon.
