00:02 for just a moment or two 00:04 in case there's something that we forget, 00:06 something that we didn't say. 00:07 Right. 00:08 We always have another closing thought. 00:10 That's right. 00:11 But, Bobby, you had said something, 00:13 your prayer for the day 00:14 because when we get up in the mornings, 00:17 what do we do? 00:19 I know you love to get you up at 6 o'clock 00:21 and spend time with the Lord and Bible study and prayer. 00:25 Everybody has their own way of greeting the Lord 00:29 every morning so... 00:30 Yes. 00:32 We want to hear, 00:33 how does Bobby Davis greet the Lord every morning? 00:35 Well, again this is not an original prayer. 00:37 But over the years, 00:39 I have heard many people talk about what they pray 00:42 about first thing in the morning. 00:43 And when I heard this prayer, 00:44 I thought I need this in my life. 00:46 And finally, over period of time 00:50 of training myself to say this, 00:52 the very first thought in my mind is, 00:54 "Good morning, Lord, what can I do for You today?" 00:57 That sets the course for my entire day. 00:58 Wow! 01:00 And all day long, I beg Him to just open my eyes 01:03 and look for those opportunities 01:04 to help others. 01:06 Sometimes it's to listen to somebody, 01:07 sometimes it's to share something with them, 01:10 help them in some way, 01:11 but every day has purpose and meaning 01:13 when I say good morning, Lord, what can I do for You today? 01:16 I love it. 01:18 So really what he is saying is "Here I am, send me." 01:20 That's right. 01:21 So that's what we wanna encourage 01:22 each and every one of you 01:24 that God has something special for you and your life. 01:27 Isn't it amazing when Jesus was hanging on the cross, 01:31 He could look down the stream of time, 01:33 and see you and me. 01:35 Yes. 01:36 To see each and every one of you, 01:38 God has something special for you and your life, 01:41 something that He wants you to do. 01:43 Everyday we should say, "Lord. 01:45 Good morning, Lord, what can I do for You today? 01:49 Lord, send me." 01:50 Our time is all gone for today. 01:52 So until we see you next time, 01:53 may the Lord richly bless you 01:55 abundantly more than you could ever ask or think. |
