Moody. 00:16 Okay. 00:17 And Dwight L. Moody says, "Of a hundred men, 00:20 one will read the Bible, 00:22 the other ninety nine will read you, the Christian." 00:25 That's just something to think about. 00:27 Your life might be the only Bible 00:30 anyone ever sees. 00:31 Powerful thought. 00:33 And hopefully, that that life reflects through Jesus. 00:35 Amen. Wow. D? 00:37 Brief thought from Desire of Ages, 668, 00:39 "The all true obedience comes from the heart. 00:41 It was heart work with Christ. 00:43 And if we consent, 00:44 He will so identify Himself with our thoughts and aims, 00:47 so blend our hearts and minds into conformity to His will, 00:50 that when obeying Him, we shall be 00:52 but carrying out our own impulses." 00:54 And basically, the point that's made there 00:56 is that Christ's will can be carried out through our lives 00:59 and while we're doing that, 01:01 we'll be doing what we want and we'll enjoy it. 01:02 That's right. 01:04 By being connected to Christ, 01:05 His will and our will will become one. 01:07 Pastor Dinzey? 01:08 Our loving and compassionate Savior is waiting for us 01:12 to yield to Him that He can do the next process 01:16 in our spiritual growth. 01:17 So I want to encourage everyone to, moment by moment, 01:21 yield your will to the Lord and you will see 01:24 that He's going to be doing that work 01:26 that you cannot do and victory will be yours. 01:28 That's right. 01:30 And we all know that famous passage, John 15:5, 01:33 "I am the vine, you are the branches. 01:35 He who abides in Me and I in him 01:37 bears much fruit for without Me, 01:40 you can do nothing." 01:42 Brothers and sisters and friends 01:43 those who are watching the program, 01:45 may your desire to be to bear fruit 01:48 by abiding in Christ. 01:49 As you abide in Him, 01:51 He will be revealed and reflected to the world. 01:54 May the Lord continue blessing you 01:56 until we see you again. |
