So that happened. 00:04:24.49\00:04:26.76 We wanted to build a facility for kids 00:04:26.80\00:04:29.50 just like the daughters that we adopted. 00:04:29.53\00:04:31.83 So now we've got a crisis center 00:04:31.87\00:04:33.27 for abandoned and abused girls and their babies. 00:04:33.30\00:04:36.00 We developed a medical program 00:04:36.04\00:04:37.64 and over 60,000 people now have been given 00:04:37.67\00:04:39.87 free medical and dental services 00:04:39.91\00:04:42.04 because of that initial group that drove me along to Quito. 00:04:42.08\00:04:45.65 Since been a real blessing. 00:04:45.68\00:04:48.62 Tell me a little bit about the support. 00:04:48.65\00:04:50.19 We know all this is not free. 00:04:50.22\00:04:52.55 How do people like our viewers at home, 00:04:52.59\00:04:54.96 they are looking at projects, the Lord is impressing them. 00:04:54.99\00:04:58.46 What can we do to support your work? 00:04:58.49\00:05:00.90 Well, of course, we need donations like everybody else. 00:05:00.93\00:05:05.57 But we also need the passion 00:05:05.60\00:05:07.17 and the expertise of the volunteers 00:05:07.20\00:05:09.37 and we love volunteer groups, 00:05:09.40\00:05:11.04 and if somebody wants to come and do a children's ministry 00:05:11.07\00:05:13.21 or evangelistic meetings or medical or dental work 00:05:13.24\00:05:15.78 or construction, 00:05:15.81\00:05:17.45 there are so much work to do 00:05:17.48\00:05:19.01 and if we, if you have the heart for service, 00:05:19.05\00:05:21.62 and if you want to experience a part of the world 00:05:21.65\00:05:23.35 maybe you've never seen before, 00:05:23.39\00:05:24.92 then the Lord has plenty of divine appointments 00:05:24.95\00:05:27.89 waiting for us if somebody just wants to come. 00:05:27.92\00:05:29.89 Absolutely. 00:05:29.92\00:05:31.26 Do you have a website 00:05:31.29\00:05:32.63 or something people could go to? 00:05:32.66\00:05:34.00 We do. 00:05:34.03\00:05:35.36 It's peopleofperu.org and there is a place on there. 00:05:35.40\00:05:38.83 Well, no surprise if there is a donation button 00:05:38.87\00:05:40.74 right there on that page. 00:05:40.77\00:05:42.10 Okay, peopleofperu.org. 00:05:42.14\00:05:44.97 So if the Holy Spirit is impressing 00:05:45.01\00:05:46.88 and you would like to support, 00:05:46.91\00:05:48.38 you may do so at peopleofperu.org. 00:05:48.41\00:05:52.41 Right? 00:05:52.45\00:05:53.78 Well, thank you so much for what you're doing 00:05:53.82\00:05:55.42 to help the less fortunate around the world. 00:05:55.45\00:05:58.99 Well, it's been a blessing 00:05:59.02\00:06:00.36 and we've had over 5,000 volunteers 00:06:00.39\00:06:02.49 in the last 14 years 00:06:02.52\00:06:03.86 and I can tell you, 00:06:03.89\00:06:05.23 the volunteers are the lifeblood of what we do 00:06:05.26\00:06:07.66 because God utilizes their talents, their passion, 00:06:07.70\00:06:11.50 their resources and their energy 00:06:11.53\00:06:13.84 and it's all for the glory of God. 00:06:13.87\00:06:15.34 It's been a real blessing. 00:06:15.37\00:06:16.71 All right. 00:13:08.15\00:13:09.65 Well, I think the simplest way at the moment 00:13:09.68\00:13:11.79 is childimpact.org. 00:13:11.82\00:13:14.09 So childimpact, one word, .org. 00:13:14.12\00:13:17.33 Okay. 00:13:17.36\00:13:18.69 Jim, thank you so much for what you've done 00:13:18.73\00:13:20.20 for the cause of God for so many years 00:13:20.23\00:13:22.43 around the world. 00:13:22.46\00:13:23.93 With Asian Aid now Child Impact 00:13:23.97\00:13:26.13 and, Lia, thank you so much for what you're doing 00:13:26.17\00:13:28.50 for the cause of God. 00:13:28.54\00:13:30.27 As a dear friend of mine used to say, 00:13:30.31\00:13:31.94 did you get it or did you miss it? 00:13:31.97\00:13:35.71 The ministry that is now called Child Impact International 00:13:35.74\00:13:40.62 used to be called Asian Aid USA. 00:13:40.65\00:13:43.25 Same ministry just some different people at the head. 00:13:43.28\00:13:46.72 Jim Rennie is still very much on board 00:13:46.76\00:13:49.29 and it's still a wonderful ministry 00:13:49.32\00:13:51.16 doing a great, great work in India and Bangladesh 00:13:51.19\00:13:56.97 and the Southern Asia part of our world field 00:13:57.00\00:14:01.24 and doing a great work 00:14:01.27\00:14:02.60 and they certainly deserve your support. 00:14:02.64\00:14:04.21 They've been working for many, many years 00:14:04.24\00:14:06.11 under the leadership of Helen Hager, 00:14:06.14\00:14:07.68 you will recall, 00:14:07.71\00:14:09.04 but still doing a great work for the Lord. 00:14:09.08\00:14:10.81 Now, in this section, 00:14:10.85\00:14:12.28 Danny Shelton interviews Kibidula Farms. 00:14:12.31\00:14:16.22 Kibidula Farms and Kibidula Farms is located in Tanzania. 00:14:16.25\00:14:22.76 So we're gonna hear about the great work 00:14:22.79\00:14:24.59 that they are doing 00:14:24.63\00:14:26.29 with 140 students in primary school 00:14:26.33\00:14:29.06 and 65 lay evangelism projects going on. 00:14:29.10\00:14:33.94 You hear about Kibidula Farms, Jason Fournier is director 00:14:33.97\00:14:37.27 and Antionette Fournier is a volunteer 00:14:37.31\00:14:40.38 and they will be talking about that great work. 00:14:40.41\00:14:42.68 That will be followed by Amazing Facts. 00:14:42.71\00:14:44.85 You know that name. 00:14:44.88\00:14:46.21 You know the speaker/director is Doug Batchelor, 00:14:46.25\00:14:48.25 Danny and Doug get a chance 00:14:48.28\00:14:49.62 to talk about some of the things 00:14:49.65\00:14:51.09 that Amazing Facts is and will be doing very, very shortly. 00:14:51.12\00:14:55.16 And finally in this section, Danny talks with Mark Finley, 00:14:55.19\00:15:00.46 international evangelist, someone we know very well. 00:15:00.50\00:15:03.13 Some time ago he began a Living Hope School of Evangelism 00:15:03.16\00:15:07.80 there in Virginia 00:15:07.84\00:15:09.57 doing a very, very fine job up and running, 00:15:09.60\00:15:12.27 and we want to hear about 00:15:12.31\00:15:13.64 what Mark is doing to carry on the legacy of the work 00:15:13.68\00:15:16.91 that he's done for so many, many years. 00:15:16.95\00:15:20.75 These three, very exciting, very diverse ministries, 00:15:20.78\00:15:23.89 all doing a great work for the Lord. 00:15:23.92\00:15:26.29 Let's take a look. 00:15:26.32\00:15:29.32 I'm standing here and talking 00:15:29.36\00:15:30.69 to Jason and Antionette Fournier 00:15:30.73\00:15:33.90 and you all are doing mission work, 00:15:33.93\00:15:36.16 great mission work 00:15:36.20\00:15:37.77 in another part of the world rather than here in America. 00:15:37.80\00:15:40.44 Tell us where you're working, and what it is that you do? 00:15:40.47\00:15:44.27 Okay. I live in a place called Kibidula in Tanzania. 00:15:44.31\00:15:48.21 It's East Africa 00:15:48.24\00:15:49.74 and we run a mission station 00:15:49.78\00:15:52.05 where we have a school of agriculture. 00:15:52.08\00:15:54.48 We educate young people, mostly high school dropouts 00:15:54.52\00:15:57.82 and even primary school dropouts. 00:15:57.85\00:16:00.26 Give them life skills, how to live 00:16:00.29\00:16:02.66 and be successful not just in life but as Christians, 00:16:02.69\00:16:07.30 and we run a printing press 00:16:07.33\00:16:09.56 where we print literature, mostly texts and Bible studies. 00:16:09.60\00:16:14.00 We publish books for sale into the colporteur system 00:16:14.04\00:16:18.71 and we have a primary school. 00:16:18.74\00:16:21.11 We have 140 kids 00:16:21.14\00:16:23.24 that are, yeah, just at our place learning. 00:16:23.28\00:16:26.35 And we have a lay missionary training center 00:16:26.38\00:16:28.88 where we train about 65 lay evangelists every year. 00:16:28.92\00:16:31.99 These are people who come from churches in Tanzania 00:16:32.02\00:16:34.66 for five months at a time 00:16:34.69\00:16:36.06 to learn how to be more effective in soul winning. 00:16:36.09\00:16:38.63 And then what we do is every year, 00:16:38.66\00:16:40.06 we choose some of the best of these lay missionaries 00:16:40.10\00:16:42.93 to go out to unreached parts in Tanzania 00:16:42.96\00:16:45.97 to work as Bible workers, raising up new companies. 00:16:46.00\00:16:48.67 And as a result of this program, 00:16:48.70\00:16:50.64 the need for churches has been huge 00:16:50.67\00:16:52.47 because the very poor people in the community, 00:16:52.51\00:16:54.64 they can't afford a roof. 00:16:54.68\00:16:56.64 So they're not gonna have a church. 00:16:56.68\00:16:58.11 So the one day church program 00:16:58.15\00:16:59.48 has been a huge blessing to this program. 00:16:59.51\00:17:01.35 So by God's grace we have been able to build 00:17:01.38\00:17:03.18 over 500 of these churches. 00:17:03.22\00:17:04.55 Five hundred? Yeah. 00:17:04.59\00:17:05.92 In Tanzania. 00:17:05.95\00:17:07.29 Now, I know this takes a tremendous amount of money. 00:17:07.32\00:17:10.99 Where do you come up with this money? 00:17:11.03\00:17:12.39 Is there something that our folk at home 00:17:12.43\00:17:14.73 that our viewers because 3ABN viewers, 00:17:14.76\00:17:16.90 they are the greatest, greatest viewers in the world 00:17:16.93\00:17:19.20 because they are not just viewers, 00:17:19.23\00:17:20.57 they are supporters too. 00:17:20.60\00:17:22.00 So tell us a little bit what you would like for us to do 00:17:22.04\00:17:25.81 to help continue this great ministry? 00:17:25.84\00:17:28.14 Well, first of all, I would like to say, 00:17:28.18\00:17:29.98 we covet your prayers. 00:17:30.01\00:17:31.35 I mean, if everyone 00:17:31.38\00:17:33.01 who is hearing this, pray for us. 00:17:33.05\00:17:34.38 I believe the Lord would bless even more. 00:17:34.42\00:17:36.55 But the one day church program 00:17:36.58\00:17:38.45 has been a tremendous blessing in Tanzania, 00:17:38.49\00:17:41.99 housing tens of thousands, 00:17:42.02\00:17:44.46 I mean, many, many people in a church home. 00:17:44.49\00:17:49.06 There is an aspect of the one day church program 00:17:49.10\00:17:51.07 that viewers don't realize 00:17:51.10\00:17:52.93 and that is that every church comes with a budget, 00:17:52.97\00:17:56.00 and every penny that we save in building the churches 00:17:56.04\00:17:59.27 goes to support the mission. 00:17:59.31\00:18:00.64 So my husband and his team would go out and build churches 00:18:00.68\00:18:03.35 and he would sleep on the ground with the guys, 00:18:03.38\00:18:05.25 you know, trying to save money 00:18:05.28\00:18:06.85 because every penny that remains over 00:18:06.88\00:18:08.82 goes to support the mission. 00:18:08.85\00:18:10.19 So it's more than just building churches. 00:18:10.22\00:18:12.09 It's really supporting missions in a broader way. 00:18:12.12\00:18:14.46 Absolutely. Yeah. 00:18:14.49\00:18:15.82 How can we? Do you have a website we can go to? 00:18:15.86\00:18:18.79 www.kibidula.org. 00:18:18.83\00:18:21.43 K-I-B-I-D-U-L-A. 00:18:21.46\00:18:23.97 Okay. 00:18:24.00\00:18:25.33 We want to thank you so much for what you do. 00:18:25.37\00:18:26.74 We know, it's not easy, 00:18:26.77\00:18:28.70 especially when you're doing things in different countries, 00:18:28.74\00:18:31.24 foreign countries around the world. 00:18:31.27\00:18:33.07 But your commitment is wonderful. 00:18:33.11\00:18:35.38 I know that God will continue to lead, 00:18:35.41\00:18:37.58 guide and direct and bless you abundantly 00:18:37.61\00:18:39.98 more than you all could ever ask or think. 00:18:40.02\00:18:41.78 I can say one more thing is just, 00:18:41.82\00:18:43.18 if people can support ASI 00:18:43.22\00:18:44.75 because it's here at ASI where people come together 00:18:44.79\00:18:48.19 and literally just brainstorm 00:18:48.22\00:18:50.43 and so many new mission projects are born here 00:18:50.46\00:18:53.46 just half an hour ago, 00:18:53.50\00:18:55.20 we were thinking this, this is amazing. 00:18:55.23\00:18:57.73 We can add this to our program 00:18:57.77\00:18:59.10 just someone sharing what they're doing 00:18:59.13\00:19:00.64 in the business world 00:19:00.67\00:19:02.00 and so ASI has just been super, super good in helping missions 00:19:02.04\00:19:06.01 to grow their infrastructure and their programs 00:19:06.04\00:19:08.14 and if the people can support ASI, 00:19:08.18\00:19:09.61 they are supporting the missions. 00:19:09.64\00:19:10.98 All right, great plug for ASI. 00:19:11.01\00:19:13.25 Those of you at home, you heard it. 00:19:13.28\00:19:14.88 ASI is a great organization. 00:19:14.92\00:19:16.65 This is my 32nd ASI to come to 00:19:16.69\00:19:19.89 and it's been wonderful to work with people like you all 00:19:19.92\00:19:22.52 and the folks here 00:19:22.56\00:19:23.89 that are committed to sharing Jesus in the marketplace. 00:19:23.93\00:19:26.46 Thank you. Thank you. 00:19:26.49\00:19:27.83 Thank you, Danny. 00:19:27.86\00:19:29.20 I'm standing here with Pastor Doug Batchelor. 00:19:29.23\00:19:30.73 Hey, Doug. Hello, Danny. 00:19:30.77\00:19:32.10 How are you doing? 00:19:32.13\00:19:33.47 Well, I'm always doing good 00:19:33.50\00:19:35.24 but today I'm doing a little better. 00:19:35.27\00:19:36.87 I want to share with you about a little miracle 00:19:36.91\00:19:39.01 that happened last night 00:19:39.04\00:19:40.44 and the Lord used you as part of it. 00:19:40.48\00:19:43.11 Now this is totally unrehearsed. 00:19:43.14\00:19:44.81 He doesn't know, right? You have no idea what I'm... 00:19:44.85\00:19:46.18 I don't know what you're gonna say. 00:19:46.21\00:19:47.55 You don't know what I'm gonna say. 00:19:47.58\00:19:48.92 I really don't know what you gonna say. 00:19:48.95\00:19:50.29 All right. 00:19:50.32\00:19:51.65 Well, last evening, I got a phone call 00:19:51.69\00:19:53.29 about probably quarter to nine in the evening, 00:19:53.32\00:19:55.82 meetings were just about over 00:19:55.86\00:19:57.63 and my sister all of a sudden, 00:19:57.66\00:19:59.66 your brother Kenny had to go to the emergency room. 00:19:59.69\00:20:02.56 He'd had open heart surgery some months ago 00:20:02.60\00:20:04.67 and still really has a lot of issues 00:20:04.70\00:20:06.87 that he's been fighting. 00:20:06.90\00:20:08.24 So he was in AFib and his pulse is racing. 00:20:08.27\00:20:11.34 It goes up to as high as 175 beats a minute 00:20:11.37\00:20:14.98 and so here we are at ASI 00:20:15.01\00:20:17.68 and so we start to leave and Yvonne's going with me 00:20:17.71\00:20:19.78 but we are meeting people 00:20:19.81\00:20:22.38 and they want to talk and I said, I'm sorry. 00:20:22.42\00:20:24.22 So she says, let's just go up the escalator 00:20:24.25\00:20:26.86 and to the second foyer we can get across 00:20:26.89\00:20:29.76 and get to the hospital. 00:20:29.79\00:20:31.63 As we go up to the second floor, 00:20:31.66\00:20:33.60 right behind us on an escalator was Doug Batchelor by himself 00:20:33.63\00:20:37.30 which, you don't catch Doug at these meetings 00:20:37.33\00:20:39.33 by himself very often. 00:20:39.37\00:20:41.17 I told you what was happening and you said, let's do what? 00:20:41.20\00:20:44.04 Let's pray. Let's pray. 00:20:44.07\00:20:45.57 And we said our prayer, by that time 00:20:45.61\00:20:47.08 it's probably five to nine something like this. 00:20:47.11\00:20:49.98 We said a prayer for Kenny, right? 00:20:50.01\00:20:51.35 Right. 00:20:51.38\00:20:52.71 So Yvonne and I went to the hospital. 00:20:52.75\00:20:54.75 It took us a while to get there, 00:20:54.78\00:20:56.48 probably 20 minutes to get a taxi, 00:20:56.52\00:20:58.55 we were anxious to get there 00:20:58.59\00:21:00.16 and then another 20 minute drive. 00:21:00.19\00:21:01.96 So I get to the hospital, I go in. 00:21:01.99\00:21:04.59 I go in Kenny's room, 00:21:04.63\00:21:05.96 they say, oh, he's in bed 11 00:21:05.99\00:21:08.43 and he's setting up, he's smiling. 00:21:08.46\00:21:10.47 He looks fine. 00:21:10.50\00:21:11.83 His pulse is normal. 00:21:11.87\00:21:13.20 I look at his blood pressure. 00:21:13.23\00:21:14.57 I look at all of his vitals and they look good, 00:21:14.60\00:21:17.91 and I said, "How are you doing?" 00:21:17.94\00:21:19.27 He said, "I'm fine." 00:21:19.31\00:21:21.11 I said, "What happened?" 00:21:21.14\00:21:22.91 And the doctor came in and said, 00:21:22.94\00:21:24.58 "We just did all your tests, 00:21:24.61\00:21:26.48 everything is back to normal, is totally normal." 00:21:26.51\00:21:29.48 They don't know why but they are normal. 00:21:29.52\00:21:31.55 Kenny said, "I can tell you what happened 00:21:31.59\00:21:34.12 and he looked over to me 00:21:34.16\00:21:35.49 and he said, you guys were praying." 00:21:35.52\00:21:37.63 He said it a little bit before nine, 00:21:37.66\00:21:39.86 right before 9 o'clock everything stopped. 00:21:39.89\00:21:42.86 My heart was out of rhythm, 00:21:42.90\00:21:44.33 all of a sudden this peace came over. 00:21:44.37\00:21:46.33 I totally feel normal 00:21:46.37\00:21:48.37 and God touched me and healed me, 00:21:48.40\00:21:50.74 right then I feel, feel, 00:21:50.77\00:21:53.27 he said, "I just felt so normal" 00:21:53.31\00:21:54.71 and his color was back, 00:21:54.74\00:21:56.28 everything looked so great nice and well. 00:21:56.31\00:21:58.78 Kenny, exactly that time 00:21:58.81\00:22:00.48 Yvonne and Pastor Doug and I were praying for you. 00:22:00.52\00:22:03.52 So he said, "Tell Pastor Doug, thank you that God used you 00:22:03.55\00:22:07.62 to give him back to normal, for healing. 00:22:07.66\00:22:11.13 Praise the Lord. 00:22:11.16\00:22:12.49 We just need to thank the Lord, that's wonderful news. 00:22:12.53\00:22:14.46 I praise the Lord, 00:22:14.50\00:22:15.83 tell Kenny, that we are just so excited for him. 00:22:15.86\00:22:17.33 Well, here is the other thing that happened. 00:22:17.37\00:22:19.43 As I was leaving his room, 00:22:19.47\00:22:20.94 someone down in the emergency room 00:22:20.97\00:22:23.87 started saying, hey come here, come here. 00:22:23.91\00:22:26.47 I don't know who is there. 00:22:26.51\00:22:27.84 I'm not the doctor so I just kept walking. 00:22:27.88\00:22:31.05 My sister and all came and got me. 00:22:31.08\00:22:32.55 She said, 'There is a man that has to see you. 00:22:32.58\00:22:35.38 He's been watching 3ABN for 20 years. 00:22:35.42\00:22:38.05 He started in Las Vegas 00:22:38.09\00:22:39.89 but he wants to you to come and pray with him." 00:22:39.92\00:22:42.99 So I went, his name is Warren, Warren, if you're watching. 00:22:43.02\00:22:46.26 So we prayed for Warren and it gave Warren assurance. 00:22:46.29\00:22:48.83 He was having the defibrillator put in 00:22:48.86\00:22:51.93 and I said, God had Kenny's back, 00:22:51.97\00:22:54.00 He's got your back and so we are able to pray, 00:22:54.04\00:22:55.90 so you're praying 00:22:55.94\00:22:57.27 and all of that was a great blessing. 00:22:57.31\00:22:58.84 You know, praise the Lord. 00:26:40.83\00:26:42.43 Not long ago, we were in Bulgaria 00:26:42.46\00:26:44.20 and I am so thrilled with what God's doing around the world. 00:26:44.23\00:26:46.97 You know, when you see the moving of the Holy Spirit, 00:26:47.00\00:26:49.77 it is remarkable. 00:26:49.80\00:26:51.17 A little funny story about television, you'll enjoy. 00:26:51.21\00:26:53.48 We were streaming our programs live 00:26:53.51\00:26:56.11 and I got a little note from two young men, 00:26:56.14\00:26:58.58 maybe 11 or 12 years old. 00:26:58.61\00:27:00.42 They said, Pastor Mark, 00:27:00.45\00:27:02.25 we are sitting on the couch 00:27:02.28\00:27:04.12 eating popcorn watching your programs, 00:27:04.15\00:27:07.12 but we made a decision for Christ 00:27:07.16\00:27:09.46 and put the popcorn aside 00:27:09.49\00:27:10.99 and knelled down and made a decision for baptism. 00:27:11.03\00:27:13.06 Amen. 00:27:13.09\00:27:14.43 So, you see, you never know what's gonna happen. 00:27:14.46\00:27:16.67 One night, I came into our meetings at about 5:30 00:27:16.70\00:27:20.37 in the auditorium that we were in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. 00:27:20.40\00:27:23.84 And as I came in, I noticed on the left hand side 00:27:23.87\00:27:27.38 a group of people sitting 00:27:27.41\00:27:29.24 and it was before the meeting 00:27:29.28\00:27:30.61 maybe an hour or hour and a half before the meeting 00:27:30.65\00:27:32.45 and there were hundred people sitting on the left hand side. 00:27:32.48\00:27:34.45 I said, this is strange. 00:27:34.48\00:27:36.28 Usually, at hour and a half before the meeting, 00:27:36.32\00:27:38.55 the auditorium is fairly empty, maybe a few scattered people 00:27:38.59\00:27:41.19 but a hundred people standing there 00:27:41.22\00:27:43.26 and sitting there. 00:27:43.29\00:27:44.63 And I looked at them, they were not ethnic Bulgarians, 00:27:44.66\00:27:47.10 they were gypsies. 00:27:47.13\00:27:48.76 And I went over and began to talk to them. 00:27:48.80\00:27:50.20 They said, Pastor Mark, we have watched you in our church 00:27:50.23\00:27:53.87 on streaming video. 00:27:53.90\00:27:55.24 Wow. 00:27:55.27\00:27:56.60 Your messages came into our village 00:27:56.64\00:28:00.01 and we decided that we had to start keeping the Sabbath. 00:28:00.04\00:28:03.88 That whole group began keeping the Sabbath 00:28:03.91\00:28:06.08 and now they were coming to our evangelistic meeting 00:28:06.11\00:28:09.38 looking forward 00:28:09.42\00:28:10.79 to an evangelistic meeting in their own village. 00:28:10.82\00:28:13.05 So God has amazing ways of reaching people. 00:28:13.09\00:28:15.09 Isn't that amazing? This is good stuff. 00:33:24.23\00:33:28.07 As we continue here at ASI in Houston, Texas, 00:33:28.10\00:33:30.51 I'm here with William Mack of Adventist Child India. 00:33:30.54\00:33:34.21 So good to be with you today. 00:33:34.24\00:33:35.58 Thank you, I appreciate the opportunity. 00:33:35.61\00:33:37.15 Tell us what is Adventist Child India? 00:33:37.18\00:33:39.11 Okay, Adventist Child India is a sponsorship program 00:33:39.15\00:33:41.72 that helps close to 2000 children 00:33:41.75\00:33:44.05 of the poorest Adventist children in India 00:33:44.09\00:33:46.45 that come from the villages 00:33:46.49\00:33:47.82 that run around maybe barefooted 00:33:47.86\00:33:49.19 as they're growing up. 00:33:49.22\00:33:50.56 And those are the ones we are able to help 00:33:50.59\00:33:51.93 through kindergarten through 12 00:33:51.96\00:33:53.29 and even in the college level now. 00:33:53.33\00:33:55.03 And how did this vision get started, 00:33:55.06\00:33:56.97 I mean, what's the longevity behind it? 00:33:57.00\00:33:58.73 Okay. 00:33:58.77\00:34:00.10 Dorothy Watts who was a missionary in India, 00:34:00.14\00:34:01.50 who had a real interest in children, 00:34:01.54\00:34:02.87 who saw the need. 00:34:02.90\00:34:04.24 It started in 2005 00:34:04.27\00:34:05.84 and it was for the newly 00:34:05.87\00:34:07.21 baptized Adventist families in India. 00:34:07.24\00:34:09.31 There were a lot of them at that time. 00:34:09.34\00:34:10.85 And these poorest families would never be able to get, 00:34:10.88\00:34:14.05 you know, educate their children in India 00:34:14.08\00:34:15.75 without help 00:34:15.78\00:34:17.12 because it does cost money just like here in the US, 00:34:17.15\00:34:19.45 you know, to go to a private Adventist school there. 00:34:19.49\00:34:21.62 So that's the reason for it. 00:34:21.66\00:34:23.86 And so the best thing about it 00:34:23.89\00:34:26.96 is that now starting about two years ago, 00:34:27.00\00:34:28.80 we are even in the college level. 00:34:28.83\00:34:30.33 So those children 00:34:30.37\00:34:31.70 who want to work for the church afterwards, 00:34:31.73\00:34:33.07 there is a huge need for teachers 00:34:33.10\00:34:34.74 in the Adventist system. 00:34:34.77\00:34:36.10 There is a lack of Adventist teachers. 00:34:36.14\00:34:37.47 They could be even theology majors, do counseling, 00:34:37.51\00:34:40.88 nursing and also some in the business department. 00:34:40.91\00:34:43.48 Those children will be able to help right now also. 00:34:43.51\00:34:46.11 So we are really happy about that. 00:34:46.15\00:34:47.85 Do you have your own facilities or do you just sponsor children 00:34:47.88\00:34:50.55 to go to facilities already in existence? 00:34:50.59\00:34:51.92 Okay. 00:34:51.95\00:34:53.29 We work with the Southern Asia division. 00:34:53.32\00:34:54.66 So our offices are at Hosur in Tamil Nadu, 00:34:54.69\00:34:57.66 in the state of Tamil Nadu and there're offices there. 00:34:57.69\00:34:59.86 So we get some help from them 00:34:59.89\00:35:01.50 and we have four people 00:35:01.53\00:35:03.03 besides Nancy, my wife and I that run the whole program 00:35:03.06\00:35:06.30 and so we literally cover all of India. 00:35:06.33\00:35:09.50 We have 40 boarding schools that we are associated with. 00:35:09.54\00:35:12.47 All together there is about 280 schools in India. 00:35:12.51\00:35:15.21 Most of them are day schools. 00:35:15.24\00:35:16.81 But we only work with the boarding schools 00:35:16.85\00:35:18.45 because the newly Adventist kids getting in could have, 00:35:18.48\00:35:22.05 you know, participation in the worships, 00:35:22.08\00:35:24.39 morning and evening and Sabbath school and church. 00:35:24.42\00:35:26.72 If they went to a day school, 00:35:26.76\00:35:28.09 they wouldn't be able to do that. 00:35:28.12\00:35:29.46 So but only six of us, 00:35:29.49\00:35:31.53 you know, do this 00:35:31.56\00:35:32.89 and the best thing is that when someone were to donate, 00:35:32.93\00:35:35.53 94% of the money that comes in through the donations 00:35:35.56\00:35:39.40 goes to children. 00:35:39.43\00:35:40.87 Only 6% is kept by the organization. 00:35:40.90\00:35:42.77 We just don't have a big overhead. 00:35:42.80\00:35:44.51 Now what are the ages that are covered 00:35:44.54\00:35:45.87 by the ministry of Adventist Child? 00:35:45.91\00:35:47.91 Okay, some children 00:35:47.94\00:35:49.38 are as little as five or six years old 00:35:49.41\00:35:51.01 that start in LKG, lower kindergarten 00:35:51.05\00:35:53.92 and so not a lot 00:35:53.95\00:35:55.45 but some of them are that young 00:35:55.48\00:35:56.82 going to a boarding school then, 00:35:56.85\00:35:58.19 up to 12th grade. 00:35:58.22\00:35:59.55 So that's usually around 18, 19 00:35:59.59\00:36:01.32 and then again those children that are giving you commitment 00:36:01.36\00:36:04.89 to work for the church afterwards, 00:36:04.93\00:36:06.26 we are helping them to college. 00:36:06.29\00:36:07.83 And after this program is done, 00:36:07.86\00:36:09.26 you mentioned briefly 00:36:09.30\00:36:10.63 that some of them go on to work for the church. 00:36:10.67\00:36:12.53 What about the impact to their families 00:36:12.57\00:36:14.14 like the moms and dads, 00:36:14.17\00:36:15.50 is there something also that reaches out to them? 00:36:15.54\00:36:16.91 Okay. 00:36:16.94\00:36:18.27 Yes, I know that education is really the only way 00:36:18.31\00:36:21.41 to get out of the poverty level 00:36:21.44\00:36:22.98 that a lot of families are in. 00:36:23.01\00:36:25.01 So, yes, they can give back to their families, 00:36:25.05\00:36:27.88 their community and their church afterwards. 00:36:27.92\00:36:30.09 Yeah, they can at least get the education, 00:36:30.12\00:36:32.42 at least till the 12th grade level 00:36:32.45\00:36:34.42 and it really makes that big of a difference to them. 00:36:34.46\00:36:36.69 Let's talk about sponsorship. 00:36:36.73\00:36:38.06 How is this afforded and what are some of the crisis 00:36:38.09\00:36:40.10 and how a person can get involved? 00:36:40.13\00:36:41.53 Okay. Good question then. 00:36:41.56\00:36:43.97 We have sponsors a program 00:36:44.00\00:36:45.83 that only is $35 a month, $420 a year. 00:36:45.87\00:36:49.34 You don't have to pay at all in one time 00:36:49.37\00:36:51.21 but if you want to pay monthly, that's fine. 00:36:51.24\00:36:52.77 It actually extends with the general conference 00:36:52.81\00:36:54.71 and the money is then routed to us in India then. 00:36:54.74\00:36:57.38 So that's all it costs to really make a big impact, 00:36:57.41\00:37:00.38 the difference on the child's life 00:37:00.42\00:37:02.08 and what was the other question? 00:37:02.12\00:37:04.55 And how is the money funded? 00:37:04.59\00:37:06.02 In other words, do you have a website? 00:37:06.05\00:37:07.39 Okay, we do have a website, 00:37:07.42\00:37:08.86 www, of course, adventistchildindia.org, ORG. 00:37:08.89\00:37:13.66 So it definitely explains things there, 00:37:13.70\00:37:15.63 and you know, you can see 00:37:15.66\00:37:17.50 definitely how the program works then. 00:37:17.53\00:37:19.83 Well, Bill, thank you so much 00:37:19.87\00:37:21.20 for giving us the information we need 00:37:21.24\00:37:22.77 and you know, we know that lives are gonna be changed 00:37:22.80\00:37:25.17 not only for time but also for eternity. 00:37:25.21\00:37:27.54 May the Lord bless you. 00:37:27.58\00:37:28.91 We'll continue here at ASI with other amazing stories. 00:37:28.94\00:37:31.38 This is John Lomacang for 3ABN. 00:37:31.41\00:37:34.55 I have the continued privilege of talking to Dr. Verlyn Benson 00:37:34.58\00:37:37.79 who is the president 00:37:37.82\00:37:39.15 of the Adventist University in Central Africa. 00:37:39.19\00:37:41.69 But this is not about education 00:37:41.72\00:37:43.19 but a different kind of education. 00:37:43.22\00:37:45.03 What we learnt in the difficult places of life 00:37:45.06\00:37:48.13 where we sometimes find ourselves. 00:37:48.16\00:37:50.20 Dr. Benson, you've had experiences 00:37:50.23\00:37:52.87 we become familiar with the young man 00:37:52.90\00:37:54.80 by the name of Micah Batchelor, 00:37:54.84\00:37:56.54 Pastor Batchelor's who passed away years ago. 00:37:56.57\00:37:58.84 You spoke to him about 30 minutes 00:37:58.87\00:38:00.21 before his tragic accident 00:38:00.24\00:38:01.78 and we know the end of the story. 00:38:01.81\00:38:03.35 But the Lord has allowed you 00:38:03.38\00:38:04.71 to go through some similar valleys 00:38:04.75\00:38:06.78 where many people don't survive. 00:38:06.82\00:38:08.32 Walk us through your story today? 00:38:08.35\00:38:11.09 In 2013, I went to for my annual medical exam. 00:38:11.12\00:38:16.52 My doctor said of all patients in your age bracket, 00:38:16.56\00:38:20.46 you're the most healthy. 00:38:20.50\00:38:23.16 That made me feel pretty good that I'm healthy. 00:38:23.20\00:38:26.10 Yet one week later, 00:38:26.13\00:38:27.47 I had a very severe pain in my abdomen 00:38:27.50\00:38:31.21 and it prompted me to go back to the doctor 00:38:31.24\00:38:34.38 and he said, wow, I don't understand this. 00:38:34.41\00:38:37.25 So he did a test, CT test and biopsy 00:38:37.28\00:38:43.18 and I was diagnosed with incurable liver cancer. 00:38:43.22\00:38:47.26 I went to the Mayo Clinic 00:38:47.29\00:38:49.19 and I was given one chance out of a hundred to survive. 00:38:49.22\00:38:54.26 In other words, the chances of survival 00:38:54.30\00:38:56.46 were just not there. 00:38:56.50\00:38:58.93 Three to six months to live, the maximum. 00:38:58.97\00:39:01.87 So this is not really a story about me 00:39:01.90\00:39:05.24 so much is a story of God. 00:39:05.27\00:39:08.58 I had a Russian secretary for a number of years. 00:39:08.61\00:39:13.11 She was learning to speak English better. 00:39:13.15\00:39:16.08 We shared 1 Corinthians 13 00:39:16.12\00:39:18.65 and she said, you know, the final verse 00:39:18.69\00:39:20.66 is not the way you Americans read it. 00:39:20.69\00:39:23.19 In Russia, we add a little bit more to it. 00:39:23.22\00:39:26.29 I said, you can't add to the Bible. 00:39:26.33\00:39:29.36 Well, it says, and the greatest of these is love. 00:39:29.40\00:39:33.44 That's right. 00:39:33.47\00:39:34.80 However, I said, no the Bible is however, hope dies last. 00:39:34.84\00:39:40.94 You know, God put someone in my life 00:39:40.98\00:39:42.51 years before I needed it 00:39:42.54\00:39:44.41 and that ray of hope changed my approach 00:39:44.45\00:39:47.88 to the possibility of facing death. 00:39:47.92\00:39:51.29 So the first thing I did is called my family together 00:39:51.32\00:39:54.59 and asked for a dedication and anointing at the church. 00:39:54.62\00:39:58.39 I dedicated everyone to the Lord 00:39:58.43\00:40:00.06 and said, if I have just a few months to live, 00:40:00.10\00:40:02.96 then my family is yours God. 00:40:03.00\00:40:04.80 You take care of them. That's right. 00:41:09.10\00:41:10.77 I'll throw out all the refined sugar 00:41:10.80\00:41:13.03 and I had lots of fruit, that's the natural sugar, 00:41:13.07\00:41:17.41 the antioxidants kill the cancer 00:41:17.44\00:41:18.97 but the refined sugar doesn't. 00:41:19.01\00:41:21.21 So I went through months of chemo. 00:41:21.24\00:41:24.05 One day the... 00:41:24.08\00:41:26.11 My oncologist came to me and said, 00:41:26.15\00:41:28.38 I don't know why I do what I do. 00:41:28.42\00:41:30.59 All day, I've given patients bad news, 00:41:30.62\00:41:33.05 the cancer is growing. 00:41:33.09\00:41:34.42 I was in a special study with 14. 00:41:34.46\00:41:36.42 All had the same kind. 00:41:36.46\00:41:38.39 One by one they were dying. 00:41:38.43\00:41:40.60 And the doctor said everyone, today, I had to give bad news. 00:41:40.63\00:41:44.10 You're my last patient. 00:41:44.13\00:41:45.57 But I don't know what's happening with you. 00:41:45.60\00:41:47.97 Your tumor is actually shrinking. 00:41:48.00\00:41:50.31 It is smaller. 00:41:50.34\00:41:52.37 And so all of the extra juicing that my wife was doing, 00:41:52.41\00:41:56.91 the belief in God, the confidence 00:41:56.95\00:41:59.45 that I have entrusted my life to God. 00:41:59.48\00:42:01.68 Amen. 00:46:30.75\00:46:32.95 Yes. 00:46:32.99\00:46:34.32 We have a home that actually Walla Walla University 00:46:34.36\00:46:36.83 helped us build a few years ago. 00:46:36.86\00:46:38.49 It's a miracle of God. 00:46:38.53\00:46:40.16 We had been trying to raise money for ever 00:46:40.20\00:46:42.20 and then they came in and helped us. 00:46:42.23\00:46:44.90 There we have a girl side and a boy side 00:46:44.93\00:46:46.57 and then our common area 00:46:46.60\00:46:47.94 where family can do stuff together. 00:46:47.97\00:46:50.31 Now, where are the locations that the ministry has impacted? 00:46:50.34\00:46:54.28 Is it in one part of the world 00:46:54.31\00:46:56.11 or just talk about the different locations? 00:46:56.14\00:46:57.68 Sure, right now, we're just in Uganda 00:46:57.71\00:46:59.88 and 'cause I say Uganda and that's, 00:46:59.91\00:47:01.45 I'm really on because of funds, 00:47:01.48\00:47:02.82 we're trying to also have started some projects in India 00:47:02.85\00:47:06.12 and then wherever the Lord leads. 00:47:06.15\00:47:07.62 Our prayer is always that God takes us to the children 00:47:07.66\00:47:10.33 who are crying out for help 00:47:10.36\00:47:12.06 and there is no other organization helping them. 00:47:12.09\00:47:14.96 Just whoever, you know, 00:47:15.00\00:47:16.33 there are so many children suffering, 00:47:16.36\00:47:17.83 there is child brothels, trafficking, 00:47:17.87\00:47:21.14 child pornography wherever they are, 00:47:21.17\00:47:23.41 we just want to be able to go help them. 00:47:23.44\00:47:25.44 What are some of the ways 00:47:25.47\00:47:26.81 that people can get involved financially, 00:47:26.84\00:47:28.38 sponsorship and what is the general cost of that? 00:47:28.41\00:47:30.75 Sure. 00:47:30.78\00:47:32.11 We have different levels of sponsorship. 00:47:32.15\00:47:33.48 If it's in the orphanage, it's about $120 per month 00:47:33.52\00:47:35.58 but you can split it with other sponsors 00:47:35.62\00:47:37.82 to $80, 60, 40 whatever you can do. 00:47:37.85\00:47:40.32 And in the community for elementary, 00:47:40.36\00:47:42.09 it's $20 per month and then high school is $40 per month 00:47:42.12\00:47:45.33 and then it goes a little higher 00:47:45.36\00:47:46.80 as the education level goes higher. 00:47:46.83\00:47:49.20 And then we also have opportunities for volunteers. 00:47:49.23\00:47:51.43 Yeah. 00:47:51.47\00:47:52.80 So in our home especially we're looking right now 00:47:52.83\00:47:54.70 for a nurse and maybe a baby caretaker. 00:47:54.74\00:47:57.71 We have three babies. We got one at eight hours old. 00:47:57.74\00:48:00.91 Right now, there are six months and a year 00:48:00.94\00:48:03.11 and we are looking for someone to help us 00:48:03.14\00:48:04.81 with babies and also teachers. 00:48:04.85\00:48:07.02 Because tutoring our kids like 00:48:07.05\00:48:08.42 when we get the children off the street 00:48:08.45\00:48:10.02 they are 12, 13 and they are just learning their ABCs. 00:48:10.05\00:48:13.29 So tutoring our kids, 00:48:13.32\00:48:15.32 and just having educational activities for them. 00:48:15.36\00:48:18.06 We're also looking for a minister 00:48:18.09\00:48:19.49 who might want to come volunteer 00:48:19.53\00:48:21.06 because our small local church there doesn't have a pastor 00:48:21.10\00:48:24.13 and our kids don't get the best experience. 00:48:24.17\00:48:25.87 Wow. 00:48:25.90\00:48:27.24 And for those who might want to volunteer 00:48:27.27\00:48:29.27 or be a part of the ministry financially, 00:48:29.30\00:48:31.44 what's the website they can go to, 00:48:31.47\00:48:32.97 to connect with you? 00:48:33.01\00:48:34.44 Christalis.org. 00:48:34.48\00:48:35.81 CHRISTALIS.org. 00:48:35.84\00:48:39.75 Well, Shalini, thank you so much, appreciate it, 00:48:39.78\00:48:41.65 and may the Lord bless you with Christalis ministries, 00:48:41.68\00:48:43.89 12 years now and continue to grow. 00:48:43.92\00:48:46.45 Right now just in Uganda 00:48:46.49\00:48:47.82 but we know that God has many, many doors open for you. 00:48:47.86\00:48:49.66 Thank you so much. 00:48:49.69\00:48:51.03 Thank you, thank you for having me. 00:48:51.06\00:48:52.39 I'll tell you, our stories continue here at ASI 00:48:52.43\00:48:54.20 and we'd like to inform you just stay with us. 00:48:54.23\00:48:56.43 There are more incredible stories to come. 00:48:56.46\00:48:58.57 This is John Lomacang with 3ABN. 00:48:58.60\00:49:01.37 Hello, we are continuing here at ASI in Houston, Texas 2017, 00:49:01.40\00:49:05.47 and I'm with the president of the Adventist University 00:49:05.51\00:49:07.58 of Central Africa, Verlyn Benson. 00:49:07.61\00:49:09.88 So good to have you here today. 00:49:09.91\00:49:11.25 Thank you very much. 00:49:11.28\00:49:12.61 You know, the ministries of the Adventist church 00:49:12.65\00:49:14.05 are broad and wide and so many places 00:49:14.08\00:49:16.22 are contributing in different ways. 00:49:16.25\00:49:17.95 Tell us about the university and its history 00:49:17.99\00:49:20.86 and how its touching lives in Central Africa? 00:49:20.89\00:49:24.69 The Adventist University of Central Africa 00:49:24.73\00:49:27.50 was the first non-government university 00:49:27.53\00:49:30.20 to be established. 00:49:30.23\00:49:31.60 It was established many years ago 00:49:31.63\00:49:32.97 in a place called Mudende, 00:49:33.00\00:49:34.67 but after the genocide, it moved to the city of Kigali, 00:49:34.70\00:49:38.27 and that's where we are located today. 00:49:38.31\00:49:40.71 We have a wonderful opportunity to be a very special testimony 00:49:40.74\00:49:44.65 to the world. 00:49:44.68\00:49:46.01 We currently have 3,000 students 00:49:46.05\00:49:48.72 in business, in IT, in education, theology. 00:49:48.75\00:49:54.76 But we are adding a medical school. 00:49:54.79\00:49:57.53 The reason for the medical school 00:49:57.56\00:49:58.96 is the president of Rwanda came to the Adventist 00:49:58.99\00:50:02.06 and said so many are failing, 00:50:02.10\00:50:04.80 we are not having enough doctors to serve Rwanda. 00:50:04.83\00:50:08.77 Would you consider making a medical school here? 00:50:08.80\00:50:11.87 So we have a special request 00:50:11.91\00:50:13.31 from the president of the country. 00:50:13.34\00:50:15.24 And this is sponsored by ECAD, East Central Africa Division. 00:50:15.28\00:50:19.01 Yes. 00:50:19.05\00:50:20.38 And it will serve all of the surrounding countries 00:50:20.42\00:50:24.32 and be a medical school for Central Africa. 00:50:24.35\00:50:27.32 Okay. 00:50:27.36\00:50:28.69 And university, you talked about, 00:50:28.72\00:50:31.26 is this a new building? 00:50:31.29\00:50:33.56 Has this been recently established 00:50:33.60\00:50:35.16 or is this coming out of the fact 00:50:35.20\00:50:36.73 that the genocide caused people to move? 00:50:36.77\00:50:39.63 Give me some clarification on that? 00:50:39.67\00:50:41.60 Yeah, the original campus 00:50:41.64\00:50:43.57 was located in northwest Rwanda. 00:50:43.61\00:50:46.17 Okay. It was isolated. 00:50:46.21\00:50:48.01 So there was a desire to have a university 00:50:48.04\00:50:51.45 more accessible to the students, 00:50:51.48\00:50:53.21 the population in the city. 00:50:53.25\00:50:55.88 There is a huge population in Kigali. 00:50:55.92\00:50:59.75 So we are very close. We have two campuses. 00:50:59.79\00:51:02.32 One close to the downtown which is a brand-new campus, 00:51:02.36\00:51:06.03 science and technology building. 00:51:06.06\00:51:07.40 If you go to our website, you see a beautiful building. 00:51:07.43\00:51:11.23 And then we have about three and a half miles 00:51:11.27\00:51:14.80 farther from the city 00:51:14.84\00:51:16.17 and that's actually very close to the international airport, 00:51:16.20\00:51:18.64 we have a main campus. 00:51:18.67\00:51:20.01 That's where the medical school is being built. 00:51:20.04\00:51:21.38 Okay. 00:51:21.41\00:51:22.74 And what are some of the curriculum 00:51:22.78\00:51:24.11 that's a part of this? 00:51:24.15\00:51:25.48 I mean, do you have a theology curriculum included there? 00:51:25.51\00:51:26.85 We do, we do. 00:51:26.88\00:51:28.22 We have theology, we have the IT. 00:51:28.25\00:51:31.42 We have business, we have education 00:51:31.45\00:51:33.76 and we have 3,000 students currently. 00:51:33.79\00:51:37.03 We are now build, in the process of building 00:51:37.06\00:51:39.09 new dormitory for women, new dormitory for men 00:51:39.13\00:51:42.43 that will give us 500 students more. 00:51:42.46\00:51:45.97 And a new cafeteria 00:51:46.00\00:51:47.34 for feeding up to a thousand people 00:51:47.37\00:51:49.30 at a time and a guesthouse, 21 unit guest home 00:51:49.34\00:51:53.74 to serve visiting faculty to come. 00:51:53.78\00:51:56.78 We think the medical school, 00:51:56.81\00:51:58.41 we are collaborating with Loma Linda. 00:51:58.45\00:52:01.05 It will be state of the art and a model for Africa. 00:52:01.08\00:52:04.52 So it's maintaining accreditation across the board 00:52:04.55\00:52:07.06 whether you go to school there in Rwanda or in America. 00:52:07.09\00:52:10.29 How does that fit into the qualification of education? 00:52:10.33\00:52:14.13 The education is based on the European model. 00:52:14.16\00:52:16.83 So students out of high school 00:52:16.87\00:52:18.30 will go directly into the medical school. 00:52:18.33\00:52:20.64 So it means there is a big demand on sciences. 00:52:20.67\00:52:23.51 So we are trying to increase the level of the sciences. 00:52:23.54\00:52:27.28 But it will serve the surrounding countries 00:52:27.31\00:52:30.51 and allow students to come. 00:52:30.55\00:52:34.12 One interesting facet as we start up, 00:52:34.15\00:52:37.52 we are not gonna be able to fill 00:52:37.55\00:52:38.89 the medical school immediately. 00:52:38.92\00:52:40.66 There is a golden opportunity for US students 00:52:40.69\00:52:44.69 to come and experience international education. 00:52:44.73\00:52:47.43 I was gonna ask that. 00:52:47.46\00:52:48.80 Because right now we are serving in North America 00:52:48.83\00:52:52.90 less than 25% of Adventist young people. 00:52:52.93\00:52:55.30 The cost of education is just simply too high. 00:52:55.34\00:52:58.07 But going to Africa, you can study the entire year, 00:52:58.11\00:53:01.91 the tuition is less than a thousand dollars. 00:53:01.94\00:53:03.71 Okay. 00:53:03.75\00:53:05.08 Now, that's amazing because we talk about 00:53:05.11\00:53:06.45 cost of tuition and that's cost prohibitive 00:53:06.48\00:53:08.68 in America is getting more and difficult. 00:53:08.72\00:53:10.39 So students going there 00:53:10.42\00:53:12.09 can also benefit from the education 00:53:12.12\00:53:14.29 that will give them qualification around the world. 00:53:14.32\00:53:16.83 How can somebody find out more about it? 00:53:16.86\00:53:18.36 Is there a website? Yes, there is. 00:53:18.39\00:53:19.96 There is a website. 00:53:20.00\00:53:21.33 If you... 00:53:21.36\00:53:22.70 It's actually quite simple. 00:53:22.73\00:53:24.07 If you go to Google maps. Okay. 00:53:24.10\00:53:25.83 You can actually just type in, 00:53:25.87\00:53:27.57 Adventist University of Central Africa on Google Maps 00:53:27.60\00:53:32.77 and that will take you right to our campus, 00:53:32.81\00:53:34.98 our main campus, very close to the airport. 00:53:35.01\00:53:37.68 And if you look at the website, you just Google 00:53:37.71\00:53:40.52 for Adventist University of Central Africa, 00:53:40.55\00:53:42.95 there is a website, there is lots of photos. 00:53:42.98\00:53:45.22 There is lots of information. Wow. 00:53:45.25\00:53:47.22 Well, thank you so much president Benson. 00:53:47.26\00:53:49.02 We appreciate it so much 00:53:49.06\00:53:50.39 and we know that whatever the Lord does, 00:53:50.43\00:53:51.76 He does best 00:53:51.79\00:53:53.13 and your presence there will be a blessing to others. 00:53:53.16\00:53:55.03 Thank you so much. Thank you very much. 00:53:55.06\00:53:56.50 One of the great pleasures that we at 3ABN have 00:53:56.53\00:53:58.83 is going to ASI 00:53:58.87\00:54:00.34 and highlighting these wonderful ministries 00:54:00.37\00:54:02.84 that are doing such a great work 00:54:02.87\00:54:04.61 for the Lord around the world. 00:54:04.64\00:54:07.04 They deserve your prayers and your financial support 00:54:07.08\00:54:10.08 and your love. 00:54:10.11\00:54:11.45 Well, our time is fast slipped into eternity. 00:54:11.48\00:54:13.45 Allow me now in closing to wish you both grace and peace 00:54:13.48\00:54:16.69 through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. 00:54:16.72\00:54:18.39 We'll see you again soon. Bye-bye and God bless. 00:54:18.42\00:54:21.02
