00:01 Well, certainly, we just want to thank you so much
00:03 for being with us today. 00:04 We have Pastor Mel Matthews has been our special guest. 00:09 And God has certainly proved Himself faithful in your life. 00:14 Amen. Has He not? 00:15 You know, as I look back and, of course, 00:18 Vietnam has been a long time ago. 00:20 But I can see step by step how God has guided my life. 00:23 Even when I was not following Him, 00:27 He was always there. 00:29 He was always there and able, 00:32 and through His love and His goodness 00:34 to draw me back to Him. 00:37 And He's just blessed my life in so many ways, 00:40 and I've just loved the Lord so much 00:42 because of all those things. 00:44 And I am so grateful to be able to give this testimony 00:49 to such a larger audience tonight 00:50 I've ever been able to do before. 00:52 Amen. 00:53 Well, you certainly, you took a stand, 00:56 God provided the way out and He is faithful even... 01:01 You know, there're so many times 01:03 that I feel in my life that I've been faithless, 01:05 but He's faithful in His love, He'll chase you down. 01:08 What would you say to someone who is thinking 01:12 if they are Seventh-day Adventist, 01:13 we've just got 30 seconds. 01:15 Would you join the volunteer or what should they expect? 01:21 We have a number at Seventh-day Adventist 01:22 that they have. 01:24 And, but you do not have the right to have Sabbath off 01:28 or not to bear arms depending upon 01:30 what you choose as your specialty. 01:32 You know, if you're volunteering 01:33 to be a chaplain's assistant, 01:35 obviously bearing arms is not a thing 01:37 that you have to probably cope with. 01:40 But once again, you know, if you're in a combat unit 01:45 and volunteering as a infantrymen, 01:47 you're going to have to deal with your company commander. 01:50 And that's the only right you have. 01:52 Okay, so we're gonna have to really give that some serious 01:55 thought before they do volunteer work. 01:58 Pastor Mel, thank you so much... 01:59 God bless you, Shelley. 02:01 For joining us today and sharing your testimony. 02:03 For those of you at home, our prayer is that 02:04 the grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, 02:07 the love of the Father, 02:08 and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit 02:09 will be with you always. 02:11 Amen. |
