00:01 Well, friends, as you know our time just flies by
00:03 almost imperceptibly but we have been touched 00:07 and inspired by some wonderful stories today 00:09 but there is a good ending to the Rwanda story. 00:12 Well, Dr. Hamel, tell us about Rwanda. 00:14 What happened over there? 00:15 Many of us are aware of the genocide 00:17 and the war that ensued after that, 00:18 but what's the good news about Rwanda today? 00:21 Rwanda is very much a Christian country 00:23 and God is healing Rwanda. 00:27 Just recently, they baptized 00:29 close to 100,000 new members in Rwanda. 00:32 Wow. Yes. That's huge. 00:35 And that country is very peaceful 00:37 and very stable again today. 00:40 So we serve a God who is fully able to heal and redeem 00:45 that which the devil seeks to destroy. 00:48 And the story of missions in a nutshell 00:50 is sharing God's good news through His grace. 00:53 That's right. Wow. 00:55 He invites us to take up our cross, 00:57 because we all have one. 00:59 To follow him, because there's good news as we follow him. 01:02 And you know after the cross is the crown and-- 01:05 but thank you so much for being here today, 01:07 we surely appreciate it. 01:08 It's a pleasure. 01:10 And we're praying for God's blessings 01:11 to continue in your life as you go forth in the power 01:13 and the grace and strength of the Lord. 01:15 You know, friends, there's a mission for you, 01:17 you might be in Brooklyn, you might be in California, 01:19 wherever you might be, overseas. 01:21 We pray that the Lord will impress your heart 01:23 to work with him in preparation for His soon return. 01:26 God bless you until we see you again. |
