Yes. 00:55 One of the pictures we had earlier 00:58 on the motor bike of our whole family, 01:01 and that was our first trip with the children, 01:03 because before that I felt like 01:05 kind of they were too little to really. 01:07 There we are. 01:08 Okay, Mary Ann was four 01:10 and James was six in that picture. 01:11 That one was taken in Thailand. 01:13 It was on a trip where we then went to Thailand in India, 01:15 did evangelist series in India. 01:17 And the reason we brought them involved us because, 01:20 we believed that purpose in a family 01:23 gives you so many reasons 01:24 for so many good things in your family. 01:26 Like, daddy, how come I've to eat this? 01:30 Because you wanna be healthy 01:31 for the Lord, to serve the Lord, 01:33 for the people that are dying In India, 01:34 dying in Africa without the Gospel. 01:37 Daddy, why do we have to go to church? 01:38 So you can learn about the Gospel, 01:40 so that you can share the truths 01:42 with people that are dying without every hearing this. 01:44 And all this kind of things. 01:46 So James was about six, Mary Ann four and we're like, 01:49 I'm going all the time and leaving them at home 01:52 and they are sacrificing, they're missing their daddy. 01:54 Why? 01:55 Well, how old they have to be before they get involved? 01:58 And I'm like, earlier the better. 02:01 So we took them 02:02 and while we're doing evangelist series in India, 02:05 James, surrounded by all these kinds. 02:07 We drive up to the church every evening and people, 02:09 kids would come out, "James, James, James." 02:11 And James came out, he loved it. 02:13 And he said, Dad, 02:14 this is what I want to do with my life. 02:16 Wow! At six. 02:17 Well, James, how do you like missions? 02:19 I love it, it's my life now, it's normal, I love it. 02:22 So you don't want to come back to America 02:24 and just get normal again? 02:25 No. 02:27 Because, what normal is, it's not overrated. 02:29 It's overrated. Wow, that's huge. 02:31 It felt so scary. It's overreacted. 02:33 Because you can lose your eternal life. 02:35 Wow, just blend back in become a jelly bean 02:38 in this big bowl called America. 02:40 Yeah. 02:41 What about you, Mary Ann, how do you like missions? 02:44 It's really awesome, Really awesome. 02:47 What you wanna do with your life? 02:48 Yeah. I'll be a missionary. 02:50 Oh. 02:51 You really want to continue to be a missionary? 02:53 Yeah. 02:55 What's your idea for India? 03:00 Some friends of ours in Cambodia 03:01 has started a Horse Ministry. 03:04 They use horses with some of the children there 03:06 that had been abused and emotionally damaged. 03:09 And offering them a chance to heal 03:12 through the interaction with animals. 03:14 And she would like to do 03:16 something similar to that in India. 03:17 Wow, 20 seconds. 03:19 John, how could you challenge our viewers and listeners? 03:22 Oh, man. 03:23 The Gospel message, 03:26 giving the Gospel message to the world 03:27 is a feast for heart, feast for the soul, 03:29 feast for the spirit in any way 03:30 that you can get involved with God's work. 03:33 Go directly to Him 03:34 and He will teach you how you can be most effective 03:37 for Him in these closing events of earth's history. 03:39 Amen. 03:41 Well, friends, our time comes and goes so quickly, 03:42 but here at Jesus4asia.org 03:47 is where you can get actively and financially involved 03:50 in this ministry. 03:51 So until we you again, may the Lord bless you 03:54 and give your life to the cause of Christ. |
