00:01 I told you, this was gonna be
00:02 an exciting teaching, and it is. 00:04 I was just asking Paul, 00:06 it's like, when somebody calls me 00:08 and says, oh, you need to go council 00:11 or ministry to this woman who's just lost a child. 00:14 If I know a woman who has lost a child, 00:18 who's been comfort by God 00:20 and come out on the other side of that, 00:22 I would recommend that she is the one 00:24 that councils with that person because there is empathy. 00:31 The person, the woman who's lost the child 00:34 can receive better from the woman 00:37 who has been through that herself. 00:39 And as we're sharing this story, 00:40 Paul, you said, that's it, that's what this is all about, 00:43 is when we recognize that Christ as our high priest, 00:48 suffered in every way that we did, 00:50 He way tempted in every way that we're, 00:54 that there's that empathy 00:55 that there's opens the door for healing. 00:58 Yes, and we know from the neuron-science 01:00 now that if, I were start learning Spanish 01:03 my brain would develop new pathways. 01:05 You can stay younger by learning new things, 01:07 a music instrument. 01:09 So when you begin to think 01:11 in a new way about Jesus' suffering 01:12 and begin to apply the gospel on a personal way, 01:15 it actually starts developing 01:17 new neuron-logical pathways in your brain 01:19 as part of the healing process. 01:20 So you see yourself in new way like that woman 01:22 who's lost a child. 01:24 She hears from somebody else who's lost a child, 01:27 there's a point of connection. 01:28 Yes. 01:29 And what we wanna do is see that Jesus, 01:31 our high priest of Hebrews 4 01:34 can understand our pain by going through it, 01:36 tempted yet, without sin. 01:38 So we have a sinless savior 01:39 to offer us healing and victory. 01:42 So the idea of the perfect Christ 01:45 is not as intimidating? 01:47 I mean, His robe of righteousness 01:49 is given to us, 01:50 His perfection is given to us, 01:52 but He's been through what you're going through. 01:55 Do not ever think that Christ doesn't understand, 01:59 He understand you better than you do yourself. 02:03 Paul, thank so much for being here today. 02:05 Thank you for writing this book, 02:07 The Hidden Half Of The Gospel, 02:09 and our proof for you 02:10 is that the grace of our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ, 02:13 the love of the father, 02:14 and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit 02:16 will be with you always. 02:18 Bye bye. |
