00:01 Oh, amen.
00:02 We are down to our closing couple of minutes here. 00:04 Pastor Kenny, Pastor John, 00:05 both give us the closing thought 00:06 to sort of wrap this up. 00:08 You know my thought here is, people are saying 00:09 that you know, is this something we really need 00:10 in the church today, 00:12 is this really in the New Testament time. 00:13 Just read one passage of Scripture 00:15 and we can see in the Book of Revelation 1:1. 00:18 It says here, "The Revelation of Jesus Christ..." 00:20 I like that. 00:22 It says here "Which God gave to him..." 00:23 This is showing spirit of prophecy, 00:24 God working through men. 00:26 It says, "To shew unto his servants 00:27 things which must shortly come to pass, 00:30 and he sent and signified it by his angel 00:33 and unto his servant John." 00:35 Yes, yes. 00:36 That's the way the gift is given, right. 00:37 It's talking about here, given. 00:39 Jesus Christ, God gave it to Jesus, 00:40 right, Jesus gave it to an angel 00:42 and angel passed it on, you see, to John 00:43 and John wrote it in the book for us today. 00:46 It's good. It clarifies to us that God has his gift. 00:51 It's in operation. 00:52 It's a New Testament church and we need it. 00:53 Amen. Amen. Praise the Lord. 00:55 And one final sin in Revelation 12: 17, 00:57 "And the dragon was wroth with the woman, 00:59 went to make war with the remnant of her seed, 01:01 which keep the commandments of God, 01:03 and have the testimony of Jesus Christ." 01:06 That's Revelation 12:17. 01:07 Revelation 19:10, 01:09 "The testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy." 01:11 The devil doesn't want us to know how the story ends 01:14 and anybody who is letting us know 01:16 by God's inspiration how the story ends, 01:18 he wants to stop that vision. 01:20 He wants to shut our eyes. 01:21 And so praise the Lord 01:23 that the Lord gave Ellen White these insights of the future 01:26 so the church will come behind and no gift 01:28 and we can warn the world 01:29 with the Three Angels' messages that Jesus is soon to come. 01:32 Praise God for that active gift. 01:34 Still alive and working in the church today. 01:36 We could take an hour 01:38 just on the testimony of Jesus being the spirit of prophecy. 01:40 There's a powerful and deep text. 01:42 Well, our time is fast slipped into eternity. 01:44 I hope you've heard something that has spurge you to study. 01:48 Allow me in closing to wish you both grace and peace 01:50 through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. 01:51 We'll see you again soon.
