00:01 Well, today we've been talking with Pastor Octavian Poenaru
00:04 and he has been sharing his testimony. 00:07 And during the news break, I was just telling him 00:09 and I'll just repeat it on air. 00:12 God has given you a special gift to, 00:16 I believe to read people's hearts 00:19 and to be sensitive to that. 00:21 How important is, you used two words 00:24 during the news break authenticity and commitment? 00:27 Talk about that just a moment? 00:31 Well, in the end what matters the most both for ourselves 00:37 and for our people, 00:38 for other people is the truthfulness 00:41 and authenticity. 00:46 Even as hard it is but I think we have to face the question, 00:50 "Am I truly in love with God? 00:53 Do I truly-- am I truthful to God deep in my heart?" 00:57 It doesn't mean that we don't struggle. 01:00 We've this or that and we are not, 01:02 we can be tempted and we can struggle, 01:04 but in the end the question is how truthful, 01:06 how committed in my heart. 01:10 And the authenticity and commitment, 01:12 I think they go hand to hand. 01:17 I think commitment, 01:20 it's a very, very important thing. 01:23 If we are not committed in the end 01:27 somewhere a crisis will come and the collapse will follow. 01:34 But if we are committed, 01:35 God will take us through in His grace and in His power. 01:39 And I think that the, the more as the Bible says, 01:44 if we understand how much He loves us, 01:46 we will love Him because He first loved us. 01:48 And that's so important is to understand 01:52 that the heart of your Father, 01:54 how much He is looking to you to be authentic. 01:58 Not to hide, be authentic but to commit yourself to Him. 02:02 Pastor Octavian, thank you so much for being here today. 02:06 And we've enjoyed your testimony 02:09 and may God richly bless the work 02:11 that you are doing there in Washington. 02:13 And for those of you at home, our prayer for you 02:16 is that the grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, 02:19 the love of the Father 02:21 and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit 02:22 will be with you today and always. 02:25 Bye-bye. |
