00:01 Welcome back. C.A., you have been preaching
00:03 the second coming of Christ for 40 years. 00:07 Yeah. 00:08 Does it still burn brightly in your heart and why? 00:11 It does, the day I baptized my dad one month before 00:15 he had a heart attack and passed. 00:17 I baptized my mom, baptized my sister. 00:19 I joined the church at age 10 all by myself 00:22 and my mother said I'm not gonna stop you 00:23 but I'm never doing that church. 00:25 Well, the day I baptized her that changed. 00:26 And I've seen God change lives 00:30 and seeing God change lives is an addictive thing. 00:33 I'm addicted to serving Jesus 00:35 and I'm addicted to helping others 00:37 who want to serve Jesus. 00:38 It is bright today as it ever was. 00:40 Shelley, what does the hope 00:43 of the second coming of Christ do for you personally? 00:48 My father was killed when I was six-years-old 00:51 and I grew up without a father for a year. 00:54 God is-- 00:55 I finally accepted God as my father 00:58 and the idea of being face to face with Him 01:02 and experiencing that love in way 01:05 where I can touch Him. 01:07 That to me is something very special. 01:09 And just to know 01:11 that we are going to be reunited with those we love 01:15 and that there is not going to be any more pain or sorrow. 01:18 It's a beautiful thing to think about. 01:21 Friend, what hope we have in the coming of Jesus. 01:24 There is something beyond the sorrow, 01:27 the disappointment, the heartache, the grief. 01:30 Something beyond the terrorism, something beyond the famines, 01:34 something beyond the fear. 01:35 Amen. 01:37 Jesus Christ is coming again 01:39 to take us home and that's good news. 01:41 Let's pray, Father in heaven, 01:43 thank You for the incredible good news that is in Jesus. 01:46 May our hearts be buoyed up 01:48 with hope today, tomorrow and forever. 01:52 In Jesus name, amen. 01:54 Amen. Amen. |
