about this 30 years,

because it was only
a dream in our heads.

And so we were just
starting building that property,

and some folk came to me,

They said that they loved
the Lord and health ministries

and I said, "Well, I
don't have the money to go."

And a man called me
named Dale McBride from--

From San Diego.

San Diego and Dale said,

"Well, you ought to go to that."

And I didn't know Dale,
but he knew a friend of mine.

I said, "Dale, I

If the Lord wants me to go,

go to Big Sky, Montana."

and got out on my knees,

it and the phone rang.

and it was Dale again.

Dale said, "Well,

answer to praye for you.

I went to Big Sky, Montana.

happy that we were there

and she thought everybody ought
to know about these young guys

It was visionary
news. It really was.

Well, it was.

And so all we had
was, I remember a floor

and a shell of a building

and she was asking
everybody if I could speak.

How did that work?

Well, lots of people would come

stage time or microphone time,

difficulty was that things

were pretty well planned
out and because of the plans,

they also wanted to
plan some recreation.

And their recreation,

they had programmed
for Friday afternoon.

And that's when the
interesting thing took place.

All right, it began to rain.

And I understood that,

If the Lord wants me to

was speaking upfront

meeting and I saw Henry,

for them to go outdoors,

but I thought, well, I

saw him in this crowd.

people and kind of motioning,

I knew who you were.

I've been there,
so you were introduced

president, who they were.

just and I saw him nod yes.

But it looked like he was--

So I said, I'll
get up and walk by

then I'll know it's him.

to the restroom or something.

So I went up to you

and I'll never
forget the words he said.

He's such a humble man,
he said "Can I impose on you,

speak to us this afternoon."

And Henry, only heaven

will be able to
reveal that decision you made

was our springboard.

I met May Chung there,

who was a great
supporter of 3ABN for many years

till her death in
the last few years.

I met numerous other people
there that have supported.

I ended up meeting
McNeilus through ASI.

Then, people began to hear
about us, the grassroots level.

People who caught the vision
and could give $50 or $100.

And people didn't know us.

We were literally just building.

It was only a dream.

prompted you is for real.

But it was an exciting story.

anybody that's looking forward

to the soon coming of the Lord

would certainly be

of a dramatic
spectacular kind of story

But it was an exciting
story that had to be told.

be apprehensive about that

opportunity to serve in New York

with a television
operation as we were invited to,

to serve in Detroit

with a multicultural
evangelistic program.

And we were invited to
come to Country Life, Paris,

a vegetarian
restaurant in the City of Paris,

France and live at an outpost
down close to Fontainebleau.

And we talked
it over as a family

and knelt in prayer and
determined to go to France.

So we sold our company
after 55 years in the family

and journeyed
overseas for the year

that we promised him.

Amazing and at a time
you were fairly young man.

either one of those,

it's like you're
trampling on God's law.

And when we tell God we
don't want Him, He leaves.

Holy Spirit is
a great gentleman.

So we as a country, so
where is that gonna lead.

in a faith based ministry.
