00:05 Spend my life 00:07 Mending broken people 00:12 I want to spend my life 00:18 Removing pain 00:23 Lord, let my words 00:27 Let my words 00:29 Heal a heart that hurts 00:34 I want to spend my life 00:40 Mending broken people 00:45 I want to spend my life 00:51 Mending broken people 01:07 Hello and welcome to another 3ABN Today program. 01:09 Thank you for joining us, 01:11 each and every day and thank you for your love 01:13 and your prayers and financial support of 3ABN 01:16 as we endeavor to take this great gospel 01:18 of the kingdom into all the world. 01:19 Today, and as a co-host Dr. Yvonne Lewis. 01:22 Hey. 01:23 Can we just call you Yvonne today? 01:24 Oh, of course. 01:26 I get a little nervous when I have to call somebody doctor. 01:27 Oh, my goodness. 01:29 We will just do the Yvonne thing. 01:30 Absolutely. Okay. All right. 01:31 So you're just one 01:33 of the regular people today, right? 01:34 Yeah, but we have a real serious doctor here today. 01:36 Oh, we do. Well, we want to talk about it. 01:38 Why don't you introduce our guest today? 01:40 Okay, I'd be happy to. 01:42 To you're right we have Pastor Lonnie Melashenko. 01:46 All right. 01:48 And he is the narrator of this whole project, 01:50 "The Love It Work" project and you know him very well. 01:52 And we're gonna be introducing today. 01:53 We are gonna be introducing. 01:55 Okay, we will come back to Lonnie in a minute. 01:56 Who else do we have? 01:57 My sweet Yolanda Palmer, 02:00 who I call Lala, who I have known like forever. 02:02 She is my sister. Okay. 02:04 And Dr. Schubert Palmer. 02:06 And they are both with Heart 02:09 and Soul International Ministries, 02:11 that's they have created this project. 02:14 But Dr Palmer is also the chief cardiologist at, 02:18 tell me the hospital? 02:19 White Memorial Medical Center. 02:21 White Memorial Medical Center. 02:22 So beside being a cardiologist, he's also a musician. 02:26 Oh! Great, absolutely. 02:28 We're thrilled to have you guys here. 02:29 Our folks at home, they love music 'cause a lot of times, 02:32 we are rolling and we have other guests. 02:34 But today we're going to really-- 02:36 if I can use the word showcase a project they're doing. 02:40 Projects not even a word. 02:42 Sometimes projects come and go. 02:43 This is something that lasts for eternity. 02:45 Right? 02:46 And we're going to let you all explain to us 02:48 what you've done and we're actually going 02:50 to show some samples of it. 02:51 But I want you to give a little bit of background 02:53 and find out about Lonnie. 02:54 There are very few people watching this program today, 02:56 if they're members of the Adventist Church, 02:59 won't know Lonnie Melashenko and know his family, 03:01 his father and we'll get us 03:04 a little bit update on the Melashenkos. 03:07 Well, the Melashenko family singers are continuing to sing 03:10 but my dad and mom passed away couple of years ago. 03:13 So we're doing the best we can as the next generation. 03:16 And that's a struggle sometimes too. 03:18 Your dad just needed a little more enthusiasm, didn't he? 03:20 Oh, wasn't he awesome. 03:22 Wasn't he an exciting guy? 03:23 He was. Yeah. Yeah. 03:25 So I'm sort of right now doing a part time revivalists 03:29 for The Columbia Union Conference 03:31 and have a long leash to travel 03:33 around the globe to camp meetings 03:35 I just did this year was in New Zealand 03:37 and right next to the Arctic at Newfoundland and Labrador, 03:41 a couple of weeks ago and it was so cold, 03:43 it was literally below freezing. 03:44 So we were from pole to pole with a gospel 03:46 and this is what it's all about. 03:48 Yeah, the Melashenkos have been in the church for, 03:50 we say forever and leaders in the church 03:52 and I love it because they're always doing something. 03:56 They're not those who just setting by, 03:57 they're coming up with one project, going here, 04:00 going there and great respect 04:03 to you guys for what you've done 04:04 for the cause of God for your folks. 04:06 Sorry, they have passed 04:07 but they are now resting in Jesus. 04:09 Taking a little nap. And they're taking a nap. 04:11 That's a good term and soon, 04:13 very soon you'll be able to meet with them again. 04:17 We'll all be meeting together as God's family. 04:20 And we look forward to that. Thank you. 04:21 We wanna talk a little bit and you guys. 04:23 Now I thought you know Yolanda and I went back a long way. 04:26 So I know it's gonna be 20 years, 04:28 maybe 25, somewhere in there. 04:30 But you guys even go back farther. 04:32 Tell me about it? We do. 04:34 I don't know, if I can say it with, 04:35 you know, I'm just a cry baby. 04:36 That's all right. 04:38 But I don't know if I can even talk 04:39 about Yolanda without crying because-- 04:41 We got handkerchiefs over here. 04:42 Okay, good. I might need one. 04:43 That's right. Yeah. 04:45 Well, she and I have been close since the 70s 04:48 and when we did Jingles together, we did... 04:51 Now, what's Jingles? 04:53 Oh, commercials. 04:54 Singing like what? 04:56 Oh, man. Wow, okay. 04:58 Did any Fritos or? 05:00 I think, Lala did Fritos. I call her Lala. 05:02 I think Lala did. Did you do Fritos, Lala? 05:04 You do diet Coke or? 05:06 Coca Cola. 05:07 She did Coca Cola. I did Diet Coke. 05:09 Okay. Burger King, Pizza Hut. 05:11 Yeah, yeah. 05:12 You did all those? Yeah, yeah. 05:14 Well Danny. You too? 05:15 Do you know the name of the lady 05:16 who just passed away in Hollywood? 05:18 Do you? She was... 05:21 What was her name? Everybody knew. 05:24 Whitney Houston. Oh, Bobbi Kristina. 05:27 Oh, Joan Rivers? Joan Rivers. 05:29 Oh, yeah, Joan Rivers. 05:30 The comedian Joan Rivers. 05:32 When Yolanda was-- 05:34 Let's put it this way, she was a Philistine, 05:36 she was a heathen, she did not know Jesus. 05:39 She was into the world, big time in Madison Avenue, 05:42 she did a thousand jingles, 05:45 commercials that everybody's heard. 05:46 Coke is it. 05:48 Continental Airlines, we move our tail for you. 05:50 American Airlines. 05:52 Meow-meow-meow, cat food, you name it. 05:54 And so Joan Rivers dubbed her the queen of jingles 05:59 because nobody has done as many as she has. 06:01 I saw the program, I saw Joan Rivers introduce her 06:05 and she said something like, "It's been years and years. 06:08 My next guest has sang to more people than Michael Jackson 06:11 and she started naming and everybody's like, 06:13 "Well, who would that be? 06:14 We would know." 06:15 And she brings her out. 06:17 And you had a somebody to piano there it seems like. 06:20 It's been a long time since I saw that 06:22 but the impact of commercials, how many people, 06:27 you know listen because I'm never been 06:29 to a Michael Jackson concert. 06:30 I never listened to him sing or dance on television. 06:33 I've seen him by accident a time or two, 06:35 that was enough for me 06:36 but everybody hears commercials, right. 06:39 And so really you guys have sang to millions. 06:42 Did you know that Yvonne 06:43 and her sang together for many years? 06:45 That I didn't know. Jingles, yeah. 06:46 Yeah, yeah. We did. 06:48 You guys were into bedtime, right? 06:50 We were. 06:51 Tell us a little bit about, we've got time. 06:53 Well, we, one of the things 06:56 that I so admire about Lala was that, 07:00 and I grew up in the church and so I didn't smoke or drink, 07:04 she didn't smoke or drink. 07:06 And so we would go out together 07:09 and we would just listen to the music and we were. 07:12 But you weren't raised Adventist, Yolanda? 07:14 No, I wasn't not. I was raised. 07:16 Okay, so Yvonne was 07:17 but you left the church for a while? 07:19 Left the church and I was out of the church 07:20 when I met, when I met. 07:22 I know, I know. I know I'm glad I'm back too. 07:25 But we would do all of these projects together 07:30 different jingles and different. 07:32 We sang on, just the two of us together with, 07:34 which they use for iPhone 6. 07:38 Oh, yeah. 07:39 iPhone 6 commercial that's you two singing. 07:41 Praise the Lord. We were happy. 07:42 Oh, yeah, you are happy. 07:44 I heard about it going through her mailbox, Lonnie. 07:46 And that's just this past year, you know, so. 07:48 Yeah. 07:50 So we did a lot of secular things together. 07:55 A lot of music and then 07:59 in 1985, was it? 08:04 Yes. 08:05 We both began to move toward the Lord 08:09 and we started to read the Bible and all. 08:15 And so a new pastor was coming 08:21 to my grandmother's church 08:23 and my grandmother, Rosalie Jones 08:25 who was a Bible instructor and all, she said, "Come to, 08:28 come to church this Sabbath and hear this pastor. 08:31 Young pastor there? Young pastor. 08:33 Okay. And so I said, "Okay." 08:35 And so I went and I was just so enthralled 08:40 by this young pastor and the word-- 08:42 the Word of God that he was sharing 08:45 and I asked Yolanda to come and hear him as well. 08:49 And it was C.A. Murray. Yes. 08:52 And we praise the Lord. 08:53 C.A. Murray, we came to the Lord through him. 08:56 Yolanda came to the Adventist Church 09:00 and there are lot of things in between 09:02 but it was just, it was amazing. 09:05 So we had our journey in the world together 09:09 and we work together 09:11 and then we had our spiritual journey together. 09:15 These two women together, almost have enough gold records 09:20 to compete with Fort Knox. 09:23 They have a lot of, but I'll tell you what, 09:26 I'll say how humble they are. 09:28 And when I first heard about C.A. 09:30 was saying we've got to go to Yvonne's. 09:32 I want you to see these gold and platinum records. 09:34 He was telling me all about her several years ago. 09:37 I said, "Okay, we'll go." 09:38 Then we went over there and I said, 09:39 "I don't see any gold and platinum records." 09:41 So we asked her, "Yvonne, 09:43 where is your gold and platinum records?" 09:44 It's in her house, right? It was apartment at the time. 09:46 She said, "In my closet." 09:48 I said, "Why don't you have them up?" 09:50 She said, "That's my old life. That's nothing. 09:52 You know what I'm doing now is so much more, 09:54 you know, loving God and serving God. 09:56 That's most important. 09:58 These don't really mean anything to me." 09:59 Amen. 10:00 And so now both her sons said, 10:02 "Mom, can we sell them on eBay?" 10:03 No, I know. 10:07 They wanted some money there but it was great. 10:08 So, okay, go ahead. 10:10 No I was just gonna say that we-- 10:14 I watch the transformation with Lala over the years, 10:18 like the way, we were mentally the consumerism 10:23 and all of that, where we were to once 10:28 we love the Lord and we were following Jesus, 10:31 where that took us. 10:33 And so I'm so proud and thankful for. 10:36 You became a lot more poorer and her's rich. 10:38 Right? 10:40 Well, yeah, and yeah I mean. 10:42 Earthly speaking. Earthly speaking. 10:43 But spiritually you became rich. 10:45 Oh, but you can't compare. 10:47 You just can't compare 10:48 what you have and Lala, you know. 10:50 Amen. 10:51 What we have with the Lord, we would never go back. 10:54 Yes, praise God. Praise God. 10:56 And so she wasn't really writing a lot then. 10:59 She wrote some stuff, for your first solo project. 11:04 But this project, the Holy Spirit has just been 11:08 working through you on this project. 11:10 And that's why we're here today. 11:12 We wanna talk about this new project 11:14 exciting things are happening. 11:16 We are 100 percent behind you and I know our folks will be. 11:19 We just gotta get it out to them. 11:21 So one of you all, I know you're the narrator 11:24 but whoever wants to do it, 11:25 sure if one of you tell us what this project is. 11:28 We've kept everybody in limbo now. 11:31 Well, many years ago, the Lord impressed Yolanda, 11:35 put my words to music. 11:39 And she thought that meant is writing more songs. 11:44 And then as we kept praying and fasting it 11:46 became clear that what he was saying is, 11:49 "No, I want to put my words, my actual words to music." 11:52 And as we kept praying about this, it just hit us. 11:58 This was around the time 3ABN was doing 12:00 the Ten Commandments you made that. 12:02 Yeah, Ten Commandments Weekend. 12:03 The Ten Commandments weekend and it was an inspiration. 12:06 Amen. 12:08 And using that, we said, "The Ten Commandments." 12:11 Yes, that's it. Put my words to music. 12:14 So the Lord led us, giving Yolanda the melodies 12:18 but doing everything, just God's words. 12:23 Putting it to music and then the Lord impressed as well. 12:26 Maybe not just hearing the commandant. 12:28 But I have actually explained each of these commandments. 12:32 So he showed us how he explained 12:34 each Commandment in his own words 12:37 and then the Lord led us to have Lonnie 12:40 to be a part of this project, 12:42 so that he could repeat God's words. 12:45 So the entire production is God's words. 12:50 A Bible study in the musical. 12:52 Yeah, the music is not just 12:54 a Voice of Prophecy's family reunion music, 12:58 it's not Gaither style, it's not even Danny style. 13:02 This is almost opera, it is high end. 13:07 It is so powerful. 13:09 When you think of Handel's Messiah. 13:11 Each of these commandments comes out in, 13:14 I mean they are out there in their gowns 13:15 and their tuxedoes and it is so powerful. 13:18 I'm actually moved to tears, having heard it several times, 13:21 when they do the Fifth Commandment 13:23 or the Seventh Commandment, it is just unlike anything. 13:26 We hope to take this 13:28 to the Sydney Opera House to London, 13:30 we want to go to the Carnegie Hall 13:32 in New York City 13:33 and the world needs to hear God's word 13:36 in an exciting new way 13:38 because you know, we've done evangelism 13:39 in our own little small circles in the past. 13:42 One of my favorite text is Isaiah 55:89. 13:46 Lonnie, my ways are not your ways. 13:49 Neither are your ways my ways says the Lord. 13:51 Because as the high as the heavens 13:53 are above the earth's 13:54 so are my ways higher than your ways 13:56 and my thoughts than your thoughts. 13:58 And when we look at the God's messenger 14:00 way back there in the 1800, 14:01 who said in the very last days before Jesus comes, 14:05 God wants His people to step out of the box 14:08 and do things, kind of like 14:11 a spiritual Evel Knievel Danny Shelton dreamed of doing, 14:14 going on television. 14:16 Who would have dreamed something like that? 14:18 God said, "My ways are not yours." 14:20 I want to do it above anything you've ever done before. 14:24 These folks kind of took what Virginia-Gene Rittenhouse 14:27 with the New England Youth Ensemble years ago. 14:29 She felt impressed before she died, 14:31 to write the Great Controversy music 14:33 and take it to Carnegie Hall. 14:35 And it played before a standing room of the audience 14:39 which told these folks. 14:41 If you take God's word and you put it up at a level. 14:45 Not everybody likes that kind of music but guess what? 14:49 It's time for the key people of the world to hear this 14:52 in a new way and I think you've got a quotation there 14:55 from Evangelism that tells us 14:57 that we need to think outside the box. 14:58 Yes. 15:00 This was an incredible direction 15:03 from the servant of the Lord. 15:05 Chapter 35 in the book Evangelism, 15:08 the very first two paragraphs called something like this. 15:11 "In the cities of today 15:13 where there is so much to attract and please, 15:15 the people can be interested by no ordinary efforts. 15:19 Ministers of God's appointment to find it necessary 15:22 to put forth extraordinary efforts in order to arrest 15:26 the attention of the multitudes. 15:28 And when they succeed in bringing together 15:30 a large number of people 15:32 they must bear messages of a character. 15:34 So out of the usual order 15:36 that the people will be aroused and warned, 15:39 they must make use of every means 15:41 that can possibly be devised for causing the truth 15:46 to stand out clearly and distinctly." 15:49 And then one more followed, 15:51 the very next paragraph she said, 15:52 "Let every worker in the Master's vineyard, 15:55 study, plan, devise methods, 15:58 to reach the people where they are. 16:00 We must do something out of the common course of things. 16:05 We must arrest the attention. 16:08 We must be deadly in earnest. 16:11 We are on the very verge of times of trouble 16:14 and perplexities that are scarcely dreamed off." 16:17 Wow. It's time to do things. 16:19 We've got a promo. 16:21 Let's show the clip. 16:23 Let's show it and then we'll come back. 16:24 And we will talk about it some more. 16:25 Good. 16:27 Exciting epic event are astir as the U.S. Congress 16:32 prepares their historic welcome for well loved Pope Francis 16:35 to the U.S. House of Congress in September. 16:38 Then he travels on to Philadelphia, 16:40 for the 2015 World Meeting of Families, 16:43 where he is expected to share 16:45 his vision of family day in America. 16:49 As the nation's capital turns its attention 16:52 to all things spiritual, 16:54 God has opened a miraculous stone, 16:56 on the heels of the pope addressing Congress 16:59 to place his Ten Commandments 17:01 in the spotlight for congressmen, diplomats, 17:04 ambassadors and legislators, right inside the Beltway. 17:09 Yes, the Love At Work, Ten Commandment musical 17:13 will be presented live in the nation's capital, 17:15 October 3, at the Washington National Cathedral 17:18 at 6 o'clock p.m. with many of your favorite singers 17:22 including Steve Darmody, 17:23 Jennifer LaMountain, Rudy Micelli, 17:25 Charles Haugabrooks, Christian Berdahl, 17:28 Yolanda Innocent-Palmer, Neville Peter and others 17:32 with Chaplain Barry Black as master of ceremonies 17:35 and yours truly Lonnie Melashenko as narrator. 17:39 To learn more, visit loveatworkmusical.org 17:43 or text Love to this number for a free song and updates. 17:49 A 125 years ago, Ellen White predicted this, 17:53 when she said, "God is going to bring around 17:56 a condition of things where the good men 17:59 and the men in authority will have an opportunity 18:02 to know what is truth in deed. 18:04 This last warning to the inhabitants of the earth 18:07 is to make men see the importance 18:09 God attaches to His holy law." 18:12 Help us make this happen. 18:14 Will you pray? Will you tell others? 18:16 Will you post and tweet about this event 18:18 on your social media networks? 18:21 Will you invite your governor, mayor, Supreme Court justices, 18:25 your congressmen or your congresswomen, 18:27 October 3, at the Washington National Cathedral 18:30 at 6 o'clock p.m. 18:32 The Love At Work Ten Commandments Musical 18:35 in Washington D.C. Follow us on Facebook. 18:48 Amen. Praise the Lord. 18:50 That's exciting. 18:52 You know the world is in morgue right now. 18:54 Oh, yeah. Yes. 18:56 How would you? 18:57 I can't even imagine living in today's times, 19:00 even right here in America and not having faith 19:04 and our strength and our hope in God. 19:06 I mean if you're not a Christian, 19:08 what do you have to look forward to? 19:10 All of these things that are happening 19:11 but we know the answers. 19:13 Yes. 19:14 'Cause we go right back to the Bible, right? 19:16 I would say we've read the back of the book, 19:18 Lonnie, and it says we win. 19:20 That's real simple but it's the truth. 19:22 We read the back of the book 19:23 and they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb 19:26 and the word of their testimony. 19:28 And so what you're doing is timely. 19:30 This is God's timing. There's no doubt about it. 19:33 I mean this is something and taking it to areas 19:36 where people might not expect it. 19:39 Getting out of the box as you said earlier. 19:41 And as you said 3ABN, we're trying to do that too. 19:44 It's timely that we do this. 19:46 Jesus is coming soon and we can do this 19:49 with great power and great authority 19:51 because we come in the name of the Lord. 19:53 Tell me a little bit, Yolanda, then we're gonna 19:55 actually show one of the songs for the people. 19:58 But this has been a burden of yours for a long time. 20:01 Your husband is supporting you saying let's do it. 20:04 Tell us about where you recorded? 20:05 How you came up with the music 20:07 and a little bit of the insight. 20:09 People like to know the inside story 20:11 before we watch the final product. 20:13 Yes, well I am so excited that first of all, 20:16 the Lord allowed me to marry this wonderful man. 20:19 Okay. 20:20 Because being in ministry, you know, we are broke, so. 20:26 And then when you're seeking a mate, 20:28 you know, you want it to be to the glory of God. 20:31 And as I prayed and prayed and prayed and fast 20:33 and pray for three days and I said, Lord, 20:36 I really I'm praying for a man 20:38 that I can work together in ministry. 20:39 We can lift up Jesus. Souls can be won to the Lord. 20:42 All right. 20:44 And I didn't pray for a doctor. 20:45 I just said, Lord-- 20:47 Actually, she did not want to marry a doctor. 20:49 I thought that would be clear. All right. 20:51 Thank you. Thank you. 20:52 This is the time to do it. 20:54 But you know as Lonnie has mentioned, 20:56 for such a time as this and I'm ready to cry already. 21:01 All right. Okay. 21:02 Because it's just amazing to see 21:04 how God brought us together. 21:05 And it's amazing too that God allowed me, 21:08 as I came into the church to meet you, Danny, 21:11 and then how you had me sing 21:13 and do a concert at that prayer breakfast 21:16 for ASI many years ago, 21:18 and that really kicked off the ministry and then for God 21:22 to have Yvonne and I together for all these years. 21:25 And for such a time as this, God brought Yvonne 21:29 into the kingdom for such a time as this. 21:31 Because whenever I call Yvonne and I say, 21:33 "Yvonne, guess what's happening now." 21:34 She's like, "Oh, tell me Lala, tell me, what's happening?" 21:36 She has always been so encouraging, 21:38 so loving, so sweet. 21:40 And I just thank God that whenever I talk to her, 21:43 she says, "I'm going to talk to Danny. 21:44 We're going to pray. 21:46 We're going to see 21:47 if we can have you on the program." 21:48 And so it's always been-- 21:50 God has just always allowed everything 21:52 to just work so beautifully. 21:54 And as Schubert and I prayed, 21:55 when he gave us this project we prayed, 21:57 "Lord, how do we do this? 21:59 What do we do? 22:00 We don't know, what to do Lord?" 22:01 And so he began to just show us 22:03 how to orchestrate the songs, how to write the songs. 22:05 Schubert would come home and say, 22:07 "Honey did you write three songs today?" 22:08 And I said, "No I haven't written one." 22:11 And he says, "What are you waiting for 22:13 and I said, "Honey, I have to be inspired. 22:15 This has to be from the Holy Spirit" 22:18 And so as the Lord gave us the songs, 22:19 we prayed who do we get to orchestrate the songs. 22:22 The Lord worked miraculously through that 22:24 and sent a gentleman by the name of Martin Anduette, 22:27 who was in the business with the Yvonne and I. 22:29 Okay. Arranging, doing jingles. 22:32 And so it's just amazing to see. 22:33 He left that, he walked away. 22:35 He walked away from that, became Seventh-day Adventist. 22:37 We met him miraculously 22:39 and then he became the producer of the music. 22:42 And then to have Lonnie on board. 22:44 Is that coincidence or divine providence, would you say? 22:46 Divine providence. 22:47 And then we prayed, "Lord, okay, 22:49 now that You've given us the music. 22:51 How do we market it? 22:52 And you all allowed us to come on the program 22:55 and market it here. 22:56 And then we say said but, "Lord, 22:57 we need everybody's hands in this. 23:00 What do we do? Who You're gonna send now. 23:02 Lonnie calls and says, 23:03 "You know, I feel impressed to help you guys market it." 23:06 Okay. We might praise God. 23:09 And so from this point as we have gone 23:12 to different churches and you know the-- 23:16 what is, Loma Linda University, Lavon Drive Church, 23:20 Santa Barbara, White Memorial Church. 23:23 Now God has opened the door miraculously for us 23:26 to go to the Washington National Cathedral. 23:29 Wow. Who would have thought it? 23:31 In 150 years, this church has never been able to do 23:36 anything significant to impact the ambassadors, 23:39 the diplomats, the lawyers, 23:40 the chief justices of the Supreme Court, 23:42 all of the representatives from other countries 23:44 within the Beltway. 23:46 We've always hoped someday somehow to do something. 23:48 From the General Conference to the division, 23:51 down to the conference, the union, 23:53 they're all getting behind this. 23:54 We're going to be meeting momentarily 23:56 with the different conferences to get them. 23:58 This isn't for us. 24:00 We don't want to sing to our own people. 24:02 We want our people and those of you 24:04 are watching today, you know a justice, 24:06 you know a mayor, you know somebody 24:08 who travels to Washington every week, 24:10 you know lawyers and attorneys. 24:12 We want you to call or arrange to fly to Washington 24:15 and come with them to the National Cathedral. 24:18 Now this is going to require a little bit of extra 24:21 something we've never had before. 24:23 We used to say, "Well, come out to a meeting. 24:24 Just have a nice free seat, 24:26 there will be a reserve seat for you. 24:27 No, because we're inviting members of Congress, 24:30 we're inviting the White House. 24:32 Now, we have national security and big bucks are involved, 24:35 tens and tens of thousands of dollars, just for security. 24:38 That means, they have to pre let people know, let us know. 24:43 We have to get their phone number, 24:44 we have to get their email, and they have to be cleared 24:46 by security with the government. 24:48 So we don't want our people to just come fill up the seats. 24:51 We're looking for the people in Washington to come. 24:54 This is something we've never done ever 24:56 in the history of the church and you saw in the video clip. 24:58 God says in the last days, "I will make it possible 25:01 for people in high office to come." 25:03 And that's where I get excited about this. 25:05 I get emotional. 25:06 There's never anything like this in history 25:08 of the planet and that's where Esther came 25:10 to the people of her country for such a time as this. 25:14 Who would have known that this little... 25:17 nothing she was an orphan girl and Mordecai says 25:22 who knows if you haven't come to the nation 25:24 for such a time as this. 25:25 Daniel, Joseph, this Daniel and this kid that grew up 25:31 in a farm of the prairies of Saskatchewan in Canada. 25:33 This lady who grew up in the area of Hollywood 25:37 would put together these kinds of things 25:39 for such a time as this. 25:40 I don't think it's by accident 25:42 that we are going to be having something like this. 25:44 And by the way these folks are so committed to this, 25:47 they would probably wish 25:48 give me a little kick under the table. 25:51 They are so committed to this. 25:55 It's costing big bucks, big bucks. 25:57 One of those little clips that you'll see, 25:59 I can tell you that they spent two days 26:01 just trying to figure out how to get 26:03 a great big grand piano on the beach in Florida. 26:05 The rest of us are waiting for our turn to tape. 26:08 It cost big bucks to put together 26:10 the Ten Commandments video. 26:12 But that's why she was impressed to marry 26:15 someone who can help but he can't do it by himself. 26:18 It's way beyond anything he's ever dream. 26:20 So we need people to seriously look 26:23 from who are watching today and write in 26:24 and asked for questions from 3ABN. 26:26 How they can get involved. 26:28 Gene and I, we're going to invest 26:29 some of our life savings 26:31 to invest in this for such a time as this. 26:33 Why would I want to wait with my money? 26:35 Sent it to 3ABN. Send it to Love at Work. 26:37 Send it to what you saw on the screen 26:40 because we don't have that opportunity very much. 26:43 Soon we will throw our money to the moles and bats. 26:45 Why didn't we get involved? Yeah. 26:46 Absolutely. This is the time. 26:47 Let's lift up the trumpet, loud let it ring. 26:49 Jesus is coming. 26:50 And this is a chance to share 26:52 before the Congress and the high officials. 26:55 And look at when it's happening. 26:57 The Pope is going to be here in September 26:59 talking about really Sunday sacredness. 27:01 Yes. 27:03 And here we have this huge event 27:06 right after that for our congressmen, 27:09 all that to let people know this is the law of God. 27:13 Not tradition, but this is the law of God, 27:16 and it's top notch. 27:19 This, the DVD, I happened to have 27:22 the privilege of attending a concert to a Sokol. 27:25 Yeah. 27:26 The anointing was so powerful there. 27:30 You could just sense the Holy Spirit's presence 27:33 because this is the Word of God set to music. 27:37 And God's word will not return on to Him void, 27:41 but will accomplish that which He pleases. 27:43 Amen. 27:44 So, this is powerful, powerful stuff. 27:47 I might have preached up on the air. 27:49 You are. She is speaking. 27:50 Whenever we invited people before, 27:53 you know, our Adventist people of course come 27:55 but we don't want them to come. 27:56 We want them to come with a visitor 27:58 and they shouldn't really get to come 27:59 unless they bring somebody. 28:01 And that was the condition at Sokol, 28:03 Loma Linda, The White Memorial. 28:05 They had to bring an evangelical or somebody, 28:07 you know, with those administrators and legalists, 28:09 they believe in the Ten Commandments. 28:11 So we met people afterward and I was there, 28:14 I never witnessed this before, 28:15 people who come up to me afterward. 28:17 You know I grew up in the Adventist chruch 28:18 but I'm married to such and such 28:20 a person here, she's Baptist. 28:21 We now go to the Baptist church. 28:22 But after listening to this concert, 28:24 we never dreamed God's Law was so powerful. 28:27 And they're weeping and saying, 28:29 "I'm going to go home and I'm going to take 28:30 a whole second look at God's Ten Commandment Law. 28:32 And by the way the musical of The Ten Commandments 28:35 is just a part of an ongoing ministry. 28:38 We won't have a chance to do that 28:39 in Washington perhaps. 28:41 But tell us a little bit about the follow up 28:42 Bible studies are all set to music too. 28:44 Okay. 28:46 For churches to pick this up and follow it up. 28:48 Yeah. 28:50 We're in the final production stages of the Bible studies 28:55 come out of the Ten Commandments. 28:57 In fact, every commandment is a gateway 29:01 to an important study. 29:02 For example as you look at the ninth commandment, 29:06 "Thou shall not be false witness." 29:08 This is a wonderful introduction to a study 29:10 on the State of the Dead. 29:12 They call it the very first lie. 29:15 As a result of that is why we are here today. 29:18 That's why God hates lying so much and that, 29:20 so the commandments are telling you 29:22 about God's character and is also leading 29:25 into a Bible study about some aspect 29:27 that's very important to us. 29:30 And then the Lord led my darling wife to save others. 29:33 We've had enough about these Bible studies. 29:35 Let's-- we need to do something beyond 29:38 and that is put these Bible studies to song. 29:41 And the way that happens is 29:44 for this subject of the State of the Dead, 29:46 there are probably nine or ten key verses 29:51 in the Bible that are connected together. 29:54 Make each one of them a song, 29:56 so you have gotten to remember these verses 29:59 so somebody who is listening, 30:01 who has never known this subject, 30:02 they're hearing God's Word. 30:04 It will go to the right side of the brain 30:06 which is the warm side, 30:08 and cross over to the left, the reasoning side. 30:11 For those of us who've already known this truth, 30:14 we have another way to remember the scriptures 30:16 because if it's in song, it sticks around much longer. 30:21 I've been teased enough, 30:22 I have got to hear one of the songs. 30:24 You all have built this up so big, 30:26 I can't wait to see, how about you? 30:28 I know at home they want to hear it too. 30:30 So why don't we, you gonna do the Fourth Commandment first. 30:32 Fifth Commandment. Oh! Which one? 30:34 The Fourth Commandment. Ok. 30:35 The Fourth Commandment first 30:36 and then maybe we'll come back and do the fifth one. 30:38 Right. Yes. 30:39 Okay. 32:09 Remember the Sabbath day, 32:19 To keep it holy, holy 32:30 Six days shalt thou labor, 32:35 And do all thy work 32:39 But the seventh day 32:43 Is the Sabbath of the Lord thy God 32:50 Keep it holy, holy 33:02 The seventh day 33:04 Is the Sabbath of the Lord thy God 33:11 Keep it holy, holy 33:22 Remember the Sabbath day 33:33 In it thou shalt not do any work 33:43 Thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter 33:54 Thy manservant, nor thy maidservant 34:04 Nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger 34:09 That is within thy gates 34:15 Keep it holy, holy 34:26 The seventh day 34:29 Is the Sabbath of the Lord thy God 34:36 Keep it holy, holy 34:47 Remember the Sabbath day 34:57 For in six days 35:00 The Lord made heaven and earth, the sea 35:04 And all that in them is 35:08 And rested on the seventh day 35:13 Wherefore the Lord blessed 35:15 The Sabbath day and hallowed it 35:20 Keep it holy, holy 35:32 The seventh day 35:34 Is the Sabbath of the Lord thy God 35:42 Keep it holy, holy 35:53 Remember the Sabbath day 36:03 Remember the Sabbath day 36:14 Day! 36:23 Day! 36:35 Amen, beautiful work. 36:37 Huge production. 36:39 I know a little bit about productions around here 36:41 and that's a big production. 36:43 And I see why you were building it that way, 36:46 but then what an incredible opportunity 36:48 to take this to a lost and dying world. 36:51 And take it to people who might not listen 36:54 to some other style of music 36:56 but even the venue where you're going. 36:58 Yes. 37:00 People will come too, Man, 37:01 what's happening there that must be him. 37:03 I want to go see what's going on. 37:04 Yes. 37:06 Incredible. 37:07 How long did it take you to on this project 37:09 from beginning to end? 37:11 Well, we started in 2004 37:13 and we stopped for about three years. 37:15 And then we took it back up about a year and a half ago. 37:19 So about two and a half years 37:20 it took us to complete the project 37:23 and we're still working on it. 37:24 You know, you never end. 37:25 You just want to make it better and better. 37:27 I think the Bible studies and isn't that a great concept. 37:29 Oh, tremendous. 37:32 And one of the things about Lala is, 37:35 and I know Schubert too. 37:36 They have a standard of excellence. 37:38 They're not going to just half do anything. 37:41 It's top notch. 37:43 And so we should be supporting this effort 37:46 because it's top notch and people need to hear 37:50 the Law of God set to music. 37:52 We know that music is such a powerful force. 37:56 Hip hop music has gotten into the brain. 37:59 Why? 38:00 Because the lyrics are, 38:03 you know, there's rhyme to lyrics. 38:04 Then there's the beat. 38:06 Then there's just the whole feel of it. 38:09 Well that's a satanic demonic deal. 38:12 We want to use the word of God to get into the mind 38:17 and what better way than through music. 38:19 Amen. 38:20 And I wouldn't expect it any less 38:22 when you have him involved too. 38:23 I know Melashenko is gonna have to be writer. 38:26 It's not getting out there. 38:28 Well, you know, the thing about the Palmers 38:31 and what you said is so true. 38:33 Wanting to get that up above the normal. 38:36 And it is not cheap. 38:38 We have not had the official church 38:41 under girding, financing. 38:43 This whole event is being sponsored just my layman. 38:46 That's great. 38:47 And this layman isn't enough to-- 38:50 He's kind of backing it all this time 38:52 but you know that they had their house on the market 38:54 because they're so much in earnest, 38:57 "This is gotta get out." 38:58 That's why Gene and I wanting to participate 39:00 and we would encourage anybody listening today, 39:03 send their money, there will be a little visual up there later. 39:05 Put an address right up there. 39:06 And because this is the kind of thing 39:08 it takes all of us together. 39:09 Can I give you a little analogy? 39:11 Sure. 39:12 When I was in the Philippines number of years ago, 39:13 we did a series of meetings, covered the entire Pacific Rim 39:16 and I learned in the Philippines 39:18 that they have a little term, way out in the jungles 39:21 where they don't have any moving equipment 39:23 or earthmovers or caterpillar tractors. 39:27 When they want to move a bamboo house, 39:28 the nice house, pull it to another little village. 39:32 They will call all the different villages 39:34 to come together and they would put 39:35 a great big long 20x30 foot bamboo pole under that house, 39:39 then another person will come 39:40 and bring his pole and the put it under, 39:42 till they get 20 or 30 or 40 of these, 39:44 then somebody gets at the other end 39:45 and altogether they use the word Bayanihan, 39:48 like buy-uh-nee-hun. 39:51 That's the term. 39:53 And at that moment everybody lifts and guess what, 39:55 that whole house they can move it 39:57 a couple of miles and put it back down. 39:58 I have a picture of that in my office. 40:00 It the best picture I've ever seen of the church 40:03 and why God calls us 40:04 to corporately do things together. 40:06 Amen. For such a time as this. 40:08 Sure, Esther was there but she needed more KI, 40:13 she needed other members praying for her in support. 40:16 For such a time as this, Danny Shelton had a dream 40:18 but he needed others to get behind. 40:20 For such a time as this Yolanda and Schubert 40:22 have been asked by God to do something 40:25 but they need us to help Bayanihan. 40:27 We can do that which we could have 40:30 never done by ourselves. 40:31 But that's why we are so appreciative of 3ABN. 40:34 Amen. 40:35 Coming to help us lift this great big opportunity up, 40:38 to let the world know 40:40 and regardless of where you're watching. 40:41 if you're in some other part of the planet 40:43 and you know somebody in Washington, 40:45 you know an ambassador, 40:46 maybe you're the president of a country 40:48 and there are many Christians in countries 40:50 and you have a chance to be in Washington 40:52 and bring some of your leaders, 40:54 you come to Washington on October 3, bring them. 40:58 Bring the members of the chief justices 41:00 or the lawyers, there's tons of those around in Washington. 41:05 This is an opportunity together, 41:07 I could not do that. 41:08 You don't know all of these people, Yvonne. 41:10 I don't think you know all the attorneys. 41:12 Some of us don't want to know certain people. 41:14 I have Yvonne make a call to Donald Trump, 41:16 see if we can get him there. 41:18 Right. 41:20 And then, right, this is to me a buy a knee hon. 41:22 And God is honored, when we do things like that 41:24 because guess who gets the glory. 41:26 It isn't Yolanda, 41:28 it isn't Lonnie, it isn't Danny. 41:29 That's right. 41:30 And we want to enlarge the footprint of the family 41:32 of heaven as a result of something like this 41:34 and I am so honored that we're sitting 41:36 in the circle together, lifting today. 41:38 Amen. Amen. 41:40 Absolutely and our viewers-- 41:42 We have people literally around the world, 41:45 every continent I go to, 41:47 people come and say I watch 3ABN. 41:50 And we get these testimonies of changed lives. 41:53 But what we have, we have something in common. 41:56 The folk that stick with 3ABN watching it 41:59 are looking forward to Jesus coming back. 42:00 Amen. Amen. 42:02 They believe in keeping Ten Commandments not nine. 42:04 And they believe since Jesus is coming soon, 42:08 the blessing is on the go. 42:10 And there's a book, we call the blessing is on the go. 42:12 Yes. 42:14 And so every one of these folk watching 42:17 realize if we want God's blessings, 42:18 we don't sit around and wait for them. 42:20 You could have sat around for many years 42:23 and just said this is a good idea. 42:25 Yes. 42:26 But you wouldn't have been blessed 42:28 if you hadn't taken the steps forward. 42:29 That's right. 42:30 So you and Schubert working together. 42:32 Look what's happened, Schubert? 42:33 Amen, and by God's grace this is not something 42:35 that will be just for the cathedral. 42:38 By God's grace we will be around the world. 42:41 You know, we pray that this program 42:43 will not be just limited to the United States. 42:46 We've gotten invitations from outside 42:49 and by God's grace, 42:51 we may be in your country wherever that will be. 42:55 Absolutely. 42:56 We really seriously believe that 42:58 it needs to show in the Sydney Opera House, 43:00 it must show in Carnegie Hall, it must show in London, 43:04 maybe in Moscow because for such a time 43:08 as this God says, "Think out of the box." 43:11 And I'm just a little small cog in for you are, 43:15 but together with the Holy Spirit. 43:17 We've got some ideas, 43:18 we're really hitting evangelism hard. 43:21 And we'll be happy to try to work 43:22 with you guys to come in summer, 43:24 we're going to go into major cities, 43:26 some major continents and do some huge evangelism, 43:30 where we're talking about doing satellite meetings 43:33 ahead of time, all around for weeks, 43:35 even months, ahead of time. 43:36 Then have the reaping meetings 43:38 and you probably should do one of those with us. 43:41 And in some of these places and we'll bring this music 43:45 and put it to the people around the world. 43:48 Praise God. Praise the Lord. 43:49 I think we should do this. 43:51 Why don't we just commit to that today? 43:53 Work together on it. I think our-- 43:55 I may just cry again. I know, I'm such a baby. 44:00 I'm older, I'm a crybaby too. I don't get it. 44:03 I didn't use to be crybaby. Now I'm a crybaby. 44:05 Now, everyone tells me the same thing. 44:07 I can't get through an appeal 44:08 at the end of the seminar, without breaking down. 44:10 Because you know what? 44:13 I'm damaged goods. 44:14 I've had cancer big time, a couple of times. 44:16 My own personal testimony, 44:18 I shouldn't even be here on this television set 44:19 but God isn't finished with me yet. 44:21 Amen. 44:22 And somebody sent me a quote from Billy Graham 44:23 and it's kind of, you know, 44:25 it's a maybe not for an Adventist environment. 44:27 But there's no box made by God or man 44:30 but that the sides can be flattened out, 44:33 and the top blown off, 44:34 to make a dance floor in which to celebrate life. 44:37 Okay. I love it. 44:38 God wants us to celebrate for Him, 44:40 for His eternal kingdom 44:41 because His party is like nothing we can imagine. 44:44 So let's start celebrating. 44:46 Amen.
