But as we began doing
that, we've been missionaries

Everybody's had a chance

looking around at

and saying, I'm not hearing

as much as I want
to hear about missions

and then it hit me,

There are two new
immigrants coming in

every minute to America.

That's about a million a year,

new people from
around the world.

Some of those
coming from countries

that you cannot
share the gospel,

like 70,000 refugees a year
from countries like Somalia,

Afghanistan,
Iraq, Myanmar or Burma

and these are people
00:14:45.38\00:14:46.72
when they arrive
life is so strange,

so different, so difficult,

even though they are
so thankful to be here

coming from war torn countries,
yet everything so new,

the snow, the ice, the
school system, everything.

And it hit me as I
came across the statement

that this was God's plan.

Just as back in Jesus'
day after He went to heaven.

they heard in their own language

and they took it
back to those countries.
