00:01 Wonderful, praise the Lord.
00:02 Well, we've been talking to Neil 00:04 about the Taiwan International Seventh-day Adventist School 00:08 and we want to know-- Briefly we have little time. 00:11 Give us your final thoughts? 00:15 If you don't mind I wanted to share with everyone 00:18 what kind of clientele we have. 00:20 Our students are not Christian, 00:23 most of them much less Seventh-day Adventist. 00:25 So this is truly a mission school. 00:27 We're able to share the gospel 00:30 with people who have little to no knowledge of Christ. 00:33 They know of Christianity as a quaint western philosophy 00:36 and not as a real lifestyle. 00:39 So we're there planting seeds. 00:42 We have had one-- 00:43 excuse me two outrights conversions. 00:45 Someone who had actually gone to southern 00:47 and she converted 00:49 and a baptism of another student 00:51 during his sophomore year. 00:53 We have students who do want to know more. 00:56 They want to know about this God of ours 00:58 who loves them now today for who and what they are 01:02 and not because they have earned this love 01:05 or not because they have to do some kind of ceremony. 01:08 We have had a lot of success with students 01:10 who want to know more about Jesus. 01:13 They ask in private. 01:14 They participate in volunteer based 01:17 Bible studies. 01:19 And so even though I have mentioned 01:21 quite a few different challenges 01:23 that we've had. 01:25 It's like what my high school history teacher 01:27 described when he was in the Royal Navy in England 01:30 during World War II. 01:31 They would have 01:33 explosions going on around them. 01:34 If it didn't hit them, 01:36 they continued on about their day. 01:37 We have spiritual attacks and explosions, 01:40 we don't get hurt, we're okay. 01:41 Praise the Lord. 01:43 Well, we want to thank you for being here 01:44 and we want to encourage you to pray for the school. 01:47 And those of you that are feeling 01:48 or understanding the Holy Spirit 01:50 is calling upon you to join as a teacher, 01:53 contact them, 01:54 they will love to hear from you. 01:55 And we want to encourage you to also let them know 01:57 you are praying for them. 01:58 Thank you and may God bless you. |
