it broke apart early on
in my life that the home did

and I was brought
up going to church,

going to Christian schools,

you know, I had good education,

had a-- I was taught who God is.

But, and one thing
that I was taught also

was the understanding that

after, through the teen

I eventually got to a point
in my life after high school,

where I had to make a decision.

I was thinking, you
know, I can't really follow God

and have everything

And so I basically had

because I can't
struggle with my conscience

to declare our liberty.

disconnect from God,

we're actually

I've been there, I know

But what are some of
those avenues that you went down

followed you down,

for the most part I was,

I was fairly protected.

involved into a lot of drugs,

you know, I've heard
some incredible testimony

and so how God has
pulled people out of crime.

I was pretty,
pretty, pretty fortunate.

I had a nice middle-class
upbringing, you know,

but I think that

wanting to achieve
what I wanted, that I,

you know, things started coming
into my life at an early age.

Let's, we call adult material.

Things that, things that
we shouldn't be looking at

came in at an
early age in my life

and it implanted
the wrong seed, okay.

As I, as I got through college

I was doing the typical things
that you'll do in college,

you know, at a where you are not

in a Christian
school or anything,

You're, you are drinking,

you doing those
things on the weekend.

That whole free spirited...

I was, I was
following my passions,

I got-- I found a
previous marriage and,

and this is little
bit hard to talk about.

was quite a ways back

and it-- that marriage
ended really bad through,

through adultery and

how a relationship should be

and seeking
something in my heart

that just was gonna
lead down the wrong path

And for about 10
years after that,

I had a lot of guilt, a

always trying to fill my heart

would take me out of that.

responsible for destroying

that relationship.

And so I filled my heart
with my sports, my activities,

would take my mind off of it.

We met about four years ago

I felt it was the God,

bringing someone to me.

At that point
Tony didn't have faith

and we were dating and so
when the question came from me,

we hit a crossroads.

The Lord started
and not because of me

that I brought him to the Lord

Well, give us a
peak into your background

because you know, God
is putting this is a family

that God is putting together.

Well, I was brought
to the Lord when I was 15

from a friend who had had
some terrible trauma in her life

but she was so
happy and I just thought,

you know, I want what she has.

And so I-- I came to the Lord
but I didn't follow the Lord.

I came to the Lord, was baptized

and then lived my
life away from the Lord

for a very long time.

I didn't know the full extent

of what was
giving her that peace,

you know, reading
the word, praying to God,

I was just in church
when I could be and--

and so, through some hard
times and some broken marriages.

I was a single mother and
then when Tony came along,

he just was-- he was
just a breath of fresh air

because I had never
experience someone with,

even though he didn't
know the Lord right away,

he had responsibility,
he had love for my son.

So I began to change
and grow closer to Lord too.
