just all the beautiful colors and-- 00:01:36.86\00:01:40.69 and the snow, and the fire places, 00:01:40.72\00:01:43.51 and all the aromas that you think about 00:01:43.54\00:01:45.48 this time of year-- 00:01:45.51\00:01:46.66 It's the sprit of the people, 00:01:46.69\00:01:50.01 they get in to this giving spirit, 00:01:50.04\00:01:52.83 they are happier-- 00:01:52.86\00:01:54.13 It is because we are highlighting 00:01:54.16\00:01:56.91 Jesus Christ as our Savior to the world. 00:01:56.94\00:01:59.51 Yes, because Jesus is the reason for the season. 00:01:59.54\00:02:03.94 And I love that. 00:02:03.97\00:02:05.25 When you made Jesus first in your life, 00:02:05.28\00:02:06.96 I love that you just can't help 00:02:06.99\00:02:09.12 and want to share Him all year long. 00:02:09.15\00:02:11.11 But I love that we have a special time 00:02:11.14\00:02:13.12 and we really think about His birth. 00:02:13.15\00:02:14.45 And we can reflect on His birth. 00:02:14.48\00:02:16.21 That's right. 00:02:16.24\00:02:17.27 We really think about what God has done for us. 00:02:17.30\00:02:18.92 We think about Jesus birth and what God's amazing gift, 00:02:18.95\00:02:22.56 that He would send His only Son to this earth to die for us, 00:02:22.59\00:02:26.33 so that we might have eternal life for Him. 00:02:26.36\00:02:28.34 And we cannot concentrate on that too much, 00:02:28.37\00:02:30.92 we cannot stop thinking about that too much. 00:02:30.95\00:02:33.02 We should really think about what Jesus did His special, 00:02:33.05\00:02:37.10 you know, gift on Calvary that He did for us. 00:02:37.13\00:02:39.40 And you know, we talk about sharing Jesus all year long 00:02:39.43\00:02:44.80 but, you know, we can really take the opportunity 00:02:44.83\00:02:49.03 to share Jesus specially at the holidays. 00:02:49.06\00:02:52.87 That's right. 00:02:52.90\00:02:54.40 And something, something that I do it 00:02:54.43\00:02:56.48 in every holiday is I always invite-- 00:02:56.51\00:03:01.79 I mean anybody who needs a little cheering up, 00:03:01.82\00:03:04.98 whose had a hard year 00:03:05.01\00:03:06.53 or whose gonna be lonely for the holidays, 00:03:06.56\00:03:09.30 I invite them to my holiday table. 00:03:09.33\00:03:12.47 That's right. 00:03:12.50\00:03:13.54 And we are encouraging you to do the same. 00:03:13.57\00:03:15.88 And in fact, Cinda always makes her home so inviting, 00:03:15.91\00:03:19.23 she always has a very special holiday theme 00:03:19.26\00:03:21.48 and I think our long time viewers have come to know 00:03:21.51\00:03:24.09 that when we are doing a holiday program, 00:03:24.12\00:03:26.02 you gonna get to see one us 00:03:26.05\00:03:27.41 in this table decorations and today is-- 00:03:27.44\00:03:31.09 That's right. 00:03:31.12\00:03:32.15 You are not gonna miss out, 00:03:32.18\00:03:33.21 today you are going to get that as well. 00:03:33.24\00:03:35.33 To give you ideas how to decorate 00:03:35.36\00:03:36.88 your buffet table and then just, you know, 00:03:36.91\00:03:38.88 put the food out and invite people 00:03:38.91\00:03:41.00 that you would normally not even invite your home. 00:03:41.03\00:03:42.70 Right. 00:03:42.73\00:03:43.76 May be somebody that you have seen that-- 00:03:43.79\00:03:44.82 may be that you noticed 00:03:44.85\00:03:45.88 they don't really have anybody sitting with at church. 00:03:45.91\00:03:47.64 And may be your neighbor that you never see him 00:03:47.67\00:03:49.27 when coming and going from there house 00:03:49.30\00:03:50.69 and you know, there is, there is-- invite people. 00:03:50.72\00:03:53.58 There's somebody wonderful opportunities 00:03:53.61\00:03:55.24 to have those divine appointments 00:03:55.27\00:03:56.70 where we can really just love people to Jesus. 00:03:56.73\00:03:58.66 Or those single people in your church 00:03:58.69\00:04:00.41 who don't have families and they are all by themselves 00:04:00.44\00:04:02.95 and where the holidays aren't very happy for them. 00:04:02.98\00:04:06.31 There is no better-- You can help them to be happy. 00:04:06.34\00:04:08.84 That's right, there is no better way 00:04:08.87\00:04:10.12 than friendship evangelism to touch hearts for Jesus. 00:04:10.15\00:04:12.28 And when you invite some one into your home, 00:04:12.31\00:04:14.91 you are sharing Jesus. 00:04:14.94\00:04:16.94 There is another part of it that is, it is so special 00:04:16.97\00:04:20.81 and that is, is that in this day and age 00:04:20.84\00:04:23.11 families are just being split apart 00:04:23.14\00:04:25.65 and this is the time when we can even make 00:04:25.68\00:04:28.57 our family feel very, very special. 00:04:28.60\00:04:30.34 Special, that's right. 00:04:30.37\00:04:31.40 To celebrate what Jesus Christ is done for families 00:04:31.43\00:04:35.35 and I think you know, 00:04:35.38\00:04:36.65 just making something special for them, 00:04:36.68\00:04:38.79 says I love you and doing little special-- 00:04:38.82\00:04:41.93 And you are special. 00:04:41.96\00:04:43.00 And you are special, so you are right sis, 00:04:43.03\00:04:45.65 this is-- this is a wonderful time of the year 00:04:45.68\00:04:49.06 to also make our families feel. 00:04:49.09\00:04:51.50 Like they are very important and special-- 00:04:51.53\00:04:53.44 And loved. 00:04:53.47\00:04:54.51 Because when we do that they will start to glimpse 00:04:54.54\00:04:56.87 how much Jesus Christ really loves them. 00:04:56.90\00:04:58.97 Because unless we show God's love 00:04:59.00\00:05:00.99 how can anybody really know what is love? 00:05:01.02\00:05:04.40 And I loved, how we learned even as a child 00:05:04.43\00:05:06.79 and we talk about our mom and dad a lot 00:05:06.82\00:05:09.46 and because we just really love them 00:05:09.49\00:05:10.92 and they were set really godly parents-- 00:05:10.95\00:05:12.93 And examples to us. And examples to us. 00:05:12.96\00:05:15.17 I loved how mom would always have 00:05:15.20\00:05:17.85 a special night usually Friday nights, 00:05:17.88\00:05:19.98 where it was a all the best dishes that she has, 00:05:20.01\00:05:24.28 special goblets those blue goblets and yeah-- 00:05:24.31\00:05:26.28 I have, there is only one left 00:05:26.31\00:05:28.13 and I have it in a box. 00:05:28.16\00:05:30.12 Its like-- 00:05:30.15\00:05:31.19 And it is just that brings back such more memories 00:05:31.22\00:05:33.64 because she didn't just save the best for the guest. 00:05:33.67\00:05:35.79 That's right. 00:05:35.82\00:05:36.85 She wanted her family to feel, like we were loved and special. 00:05:36.88\00:05:39.96 And so that's where we got it, 00:05:39.99\00:05:41.99 it was our training from our mom and dad. 00:05:42.02\00:05:43.78 And also what I love that mom and dad, 00:05:43.81\00:05:46.89 every holiday we didn't have money for gifts. 00:05:46.92\00:05:50.41 In fact, some years we didn't get gifts. 00:05:50.44\00:05:53.27 That's right. We made home made things. 00:05:53.30\00:05:54.74 We made home made things, and sometimes may be-- 00:05:54.77\00:05:57.05 Cards. 00:05:57.08\00:05:58.11 It was only one gift a person, but you know, 00:05:58.14\00:06:00.83 so mom and dad always focused 00:06:00.86\00:06:03.57 on what we could do to other, for other people. 00:06:03.60\00:06:07.15 So that way the focus was not on us, 00:06:07.18\00:06:09.94 even though we were little children 00:06:09.97\00:06:11.90 and even though we-- 00:06:11.93\00:06:13.01 I mean, as we grew up through the years 00:06:13.04\00:06:14.80 it wasn't on what we were getting, 00:06:14.83\00:06:16.97 it was what are we gonna do 00:06:17.00\00:06:18.68 for someone and who would you-- 00:06:18.71\00:06:19.74 Come and give. 00:06:19.77\00:06:20.82 Who would you gonna do something for this season. 00:06:20.85\00:06:23.11 That's right. And we did it as a family. 00:06:23.14\00:06:24.19 And that's because I loved it and we did it as family. 00:06:24.22\00:06:26.22 That's right, when you thinking about others, 00:06:26.25\00:06:28.20 that's really the best blessing anyway. 00:06:28.23\00:06:29.99 There is no better and there is really 00:06:30.02\00:06:32.17 a no better joy than to serve Jesus 00:06:32.20\00:06:34.32 and we are helping others we are serving Jesus. 00:06:34.35\00:06:36.55 You know, when we are thinking about others. 00:06:36.58\00:06:37.94 That's right. So-- 00:06:37.97\00:06:39.01 And it says in John 13, it tells us 00:06:39.04\00:06:42.50 that we are to love one another 00:06:42.53\00:06:43.75 and it says by this we will all will know 00:06:43.78\00:06:46.70 that we are disciples of Jesus Christ. 00:06:46.73\00:06:48.81 So how we show love to one another 00:06:48.84\00:06:51.52 says who we belong to. 00:06:51.55\00:06:53.14 That's right. You know-- 00:06:53.17\00:06:54.20 I love that thought too, and that's one of my favorites. 00:06:54.23\00:06:56.53 I love the fact that mom and dad in-- 00:06:56.56\00:06:59.84 they involved and included all five of us children. 00:06:59.87\00:07:04.51 Yep, there's five of us. We have two brothers. 00:07:04.54\00:07:05.76 And to, and to making the holiday special 00:07:05.79\00:07:08.41 for our family and for those around us, 00:07:08.44\00:07:12.71 the people that we knew, 00:07:12.74\00:07:13.91 people that we didn't even know. 00:07:13.94\00:07:15.27 And they didn't spend the lot of money. 00:07:15.30\00:07:17.05 No. 00:07:17.08\00:07:18.11 We actually remember how we would go out 00:07:18.14\00:07:19.86 and pick-- the little holly berries 00:07:19.89\00:07:22.47 and we would string it with popcorn 00:07:22.50\00:07:25.40 and we find this little bush and dad would bring it in 00:07:25.43\00:07:28.44 and we put our popcorn strings and our berries around it. 00:07:28.47\00:07:33.04 And it wasn't always the most, 00:07:33.07\00:07:34.51 you know, fun loving people at church 00:07:34.54\00:07:36.87 that they invite into our home either. 00:07:36.90\00:07:38.38 I can remember, I don't if you guys remember this 00:07:38.41\00:07:41.10 but there is a one particular lady in our church 00:07:41.13\00:07:43.93 that didn't never had-- 00:07:43.96\00:07:44.99 she wore the same thing to church every single day. 00:07:45.02\00:07:47.39 She didn't smell very good because I, you know, 00:07:47.42\00:07:50.01 she didn't smell like she bath very much at all 00:07:50.04\00:07:52.27 and she just was always but, boy, by herself. 00:07:52.30\00:07:54.90 Mom and dad just welcomed her into our house, 00:07:54.93\00:07:57.99 we invited into the home and you know, 00:07:58.02\00:07:59.79 none of us made it even seem like she smell bad, 00:07:59.82\00:08:05.15 we just showed her love. 00:08:05.18\00:08:06.41 Do you know that woman changed? 00:08:06.44\00:08:07.97 Mom helped her find cloths, 00:08:08.00\00:08:09.55 mom slowly she was able to, you know-- 00:08:09.58\00:08:11.59 Throughout the year just be friend to her. 00:08:11.62\00:08:12.65 About cleanliness to the ears 00:08:12.68\00:08:14.08 and it made a huge difference in her. 00:08:14.11\00:08:15.56 That's right and so you know, you as parents keep in mind 00:08:15.59\00:08:20.24 that you are the example for your children. 00:08:20.27\00:08:23.49 You can tell your children all kinds of things, 00:08:23.52\00:08:26.34 but you need to show them. 00:08:26.37\00:08:27.40 You are the example. 00:08:27.43\00:08:28.47 And and if you don't have children 00:08:28.50\00:08:30.96 so you are single whatever and your-- 00:08:30.99\00:08:33.52 you still can be a mother in Israel or a father in Israel 00:08:33.55\00:08:38.10 that shares with the church kids 00:08:38.13\00:08:40.40 and those around you. 00:08:40.43\00:08:41.53 Well, that lady I was speaking about, 00:08:41.56\00:08:43.45 till the day she died thought of us as family. 00:08:43.48\00:08:46.13 And so you know, God really does want us 00:08:46.16\00:08:48.80 to reach out and help, help others 00:08:48.83\00:08:51.04 and think about others and it's about the giving. 00:08:51.07\00:08:53.25 And we learned to really love her 00:08:53.28\00:08:55.12 and see the beauty in our heart. 00:08:55.15\00:08:56.88 That's right. 00:08:56.91\00:08:57.94 There's lot of times we compare the outside and we think-- 00:08:57.97\00:09:00.08 Exactly. 00:09:00.11\00:09:01.15 But when we look at through God's eyes 00:09:01.18\00:09:03.38 into the heart we see the beauty. 00:09:03.41\00:09:05.56 Exactly. That's all I was gonna say. 00:09:05.59\00:09:07.56 When, when she actually came to our home 00:09:07.59\00:09:10.15 and we actually spent time with her-- 00:09:10.18\00:09:12.29 She was a-- she was precious. 00:09:12.32\00:09:14.57 We were like wow, she is really nice. 00:09:14.60\00:09:16.74 We like her.
