parables that Jesus talked

lessons that He gets from us.

21, begins with verse 33.

It says, "Hear another parable,

"There was a certain landowner
who planted a vineyard,

"and set a hedge around
it, dug a winepress in it,

"and built a tower.
00:01:52.74\00:01:54.24
And he leased it to vinedressers
and went into a far country."

Now if you remember this story,

you remember that when time came
for them to have the harvest

and for the
vinedressers to pay their part,

he sent a servant to collect,
and the servant was killed.

He sent another.

The same happened.

So finally he
said, I'll send my son,

and when he sent his
son the same thing happened.

The son was killed.

And then it tells us here.

It says, "Therefore, it says,

"when the owner of
the vineyard comes,

what will he do to
those vinedressers?"

And they all said,
well he will destroy them.

And Jesus answered and He says,

"Have you never read in
the scriptures, verse 42,

"The stone which
the builders rejected

"has become the
chief cornerstone.

"And this was the Lord's doing,
and it is marvelous in our eyes.

"Therefore I say to you,

"the Kingdom of God
will be taken from you,

"given to a nation,
bearing the fruits of it.

But on whomever it falls,
it will grind him to powder."

We need to fall
on the Rock of Ages.

Fall on Jesus because
He says if we fall on Him

we will be broken and we
will receive life eternal,

God says that the Kingdom

would be taken away from people
who were simply Jewish by birth

and given to those who
are Jewish by new birth,

you, it can be a Jew,

Gentile, it can be anyone

who accepts Jesus
Christ and receives Him

as their personal
Savior, great parable,

lot of truth here,
one that we need to study

often than perhaps we do.

But He is waiting
for us to receive Him

writing to us and talking to us

challenges that they're facing,

marriage
problems, financial problems

and particularly in the economy
in which we find ourselves today

So whatever that problem
is, you can bring it to God.

He can see you through it.

Health problems that
we right now are praying

for several friends who
has some real challenges

with their health and I
know from personal testimony

that God can bring you
through a health challenge.

And He'll do it I believe if
you simply trust Him to do so.

He may use
Medical Science as well

to bring about that healing,

the one that does the healing.

bit about the background.

talk about your background,

and how would you get into this?

Well, I guess it all
started when you know,

Susan grew up Adventist.

But I didn't, I hadn't
even heard of an Adventist

before I met Susan. Okay.

And we were both in school
at Arizona State University,

Public University,
getting our Engineering Degrees.

And I met Susan and we
started studying together.

We were taking some
of the same classes.

And long story short, you
know, she invited me to church.

And she grew up
in an Adventist Home,

I did not grew up actively
going to church regularly,

but I was more than
interested in joining her.

to go to church on Saturday.

with early on the weekend?

later we felt more and-more

at least we were involved in.

how that was gonna take place,

the Lord just kind of
