world to be without a witness.

And so He sent a
message for this hour.

this message of the three angels

time of evolution and communism.

prophecies of Revelation.

And as they did, they sensed

in this message of

that God had a special message,

God had a unique message.

for this generation

that is shaped
that is tailor made

to meet the
challenge of evolution,

challenge of atheism.

A message for us today.

That message was given to
John on the island of Patmos.

John was the last of
the living disciples.

He was there in his 90s.

Patmos is an amazing place.

I visited it on
numerous occasions,

about nine miles long.
00:10:53.25\00:10:55.92
It's an idyllic island today.
00:10:55.95\00:10:58.15
It has about 3,000
people living there.
00:10:58.19\00:11:01.86
You come into its
port called Skala.

And it was there
00:11:04.69\00:11:06.03
that John exiled on
the island of Patmos,

a prisoner for the Lord,
00:11:09.53\00:11:11.17
sent there by the
pagan Roman Emperor Domitian,
00:11:11.20\00:11:15.40
because John would not sacrifice
00:11:15.44\00:11:18.74
to the idols of Rome.
00:11:18.77\00:11:20.58
And there on that
island, Jesus visited him.

There on that island,

John had a vision of the future.

The island was illuminated
with the glory of God.

And John there saw these scenes

in the Book of Revelation.

suffering and the pain.

island, God broke through.

There on that island,

God moved powerfully

the Book of Revelation.

It was Jesus who visited John.

not some common book,

It's quite amazing to me

people who visit that cave

see this very verse,

down through the centuries

have sense there's
something special here,

a call to worship the
creator in an age of evolution.
