Hey, kids, it's time for Sabbath School. Grab your Bibles and 00:00:01.96\00:00:03.30 let's go. 00:00:03.33\00:00:04.67 Welcome back to Sabbath School. I am so glad that you're here 00:00:31.16\00:00:33.93 with us again today. (Miss Ruthie) We have an exciting 00:00:33.96\00:00:37.23 program with our sharing time. We have a really fun mission 00:00:37.27\00:00:40.87 story and our Bible story with Miss Michelle is about who our 00:00:40.90\00:00:45.54 neighbor is. So before we get to that, let's sing some praises 00:00:45.57\00:00:49.71 to Jesus. So join me in singing. 00:00:49.74\00:00:52.95 Hello boys and girls. My name is Sue Hinkle and I want to tell 00:06:00.82\00:06:05.19 you a story that comes from Adventist World Radio. Adventist 00:06:05.23\00:06:10.50 World Radio loves to share Jesus with people all around the world 00:06:10.53\00:06:15.54 You know there's so many people that have never heard about 00:06:15.57\00:06:19.27 Jesus. And one time there was a very special Sabbath School 00:06:19.31\00:06:24.51 class. Do you have a very special Sabbath School class 00:06:24.55\00:06:27.85 too? Well this Sabbath School class had an idea. They wanted 00:06:27.88\00:06:33.29 to do something for Jesus to tell other people about Jesus, 00:06:33.32\00:06:37.49 but they weren't sure what to do but then they had an idea and 00:06:37.53\00:06:42.76 you know what they did? They decided they were going to 00:06:42.80\00:06:48.20 collect money. They were going to do everything they could to 00:06:48.24\00:06:51.71 try to raise money to send it to Adventist World Radio so that 00:06:51.74\00:06:57.81 they could buy Bibles to send to people that had never heard 00:06:57.85\00:07:02.68 about Jesus before. So the kids started thinking, what can I do? 00:07:02.72\00:07:06.96 What can I do? And one child they got money for their 00:07:06.99\00:07:11.33 birthday and they took all their money and they brought it to 00:07:11.36\00:07:16.06 Sabbath School for their mission project. And then some other 00:07:16.10\00:07:19.73 kids thought what can we do? We'll have a bake sale. So their 00:07:19.77\00:07:23.97 moms and their dads they made things, food and desserts, and 00:07:24.01\00:07:31.08 they sold it and all the money that came in from that bake sale 00:07:31.11\00:07:36.99 then they gave that to Sabbath School for their special mission 00:07:37.02\00:07:41.89 project. One boy that was a little bit older, he decided he 00:07:41.92\00:07:47.90 would help mow lawns for people and so he would mow some lawns 00:07:47.93\00:07:52.80 and they would get money and they brought it. You know what? 00:07:52.83\00:07:57.91 They raised so much money. They raised almost $2000 for Bibles. 00:07:57.94\00:08:05.85 Can you believe that? That's a huge amount of money. And once 00:08:05.88\00:08:10.75 they had all that money they sent it in to the office of 00:08:10.79\00:08:15.62 Adventist World Radio and do you know what happened then? 00:08:15.66\00:08:18.69 Adventist World Radio bought Bibles, lots of Bibles and sent 00:08:18.73\00:08:24.57 it up to this village in the Philippines. In this remote 00:08:24.60\00:08:29.70 village many of them did not know about Jesus until just a 00:08:29.74\00:08:34.21 little bit before. And they started learning about Jesus but 00:08:34.24\00:08:37.91 they had no Bible to learn about Jesus themselves. So what they 00:08:37.95\00:08:44.79 when they saw those Bibles coming that the kids from the 00:08:44.82\00:08:49.12 Sabbath School had given the money and the people bought 00:08:49.16\00:08:53.33 Bibles, then it came to their village and they had boxes and 00:08:53.36\00:08:59.67 boxes of Bibles. They started handing the kids Bibles, the 00:08:59.70\00:09:06.14 adults got Bibles and they were so excited. They just took their 00:09:06.17\00:09:11.55 Bibles and they held it close to them like that and don't you 00:09:11.58\00:09:16.15 think those Sabbath School kids that raised the money for Bibles 00:09:16.18\00:09:19.99 were so excited that they had done something for Jesus. They 00:09:20.02\00:09:26.19 had, they had done something very important. Sometimes you 00:09:26.23\00:09:30.27 think, well I'm just little what can I do for Jesus? You can do a 00:09:30.30\00:09:36.77 lot for Jesus, you know that? Do you know that you could raise 00:09:36.81\00:09:41.34 money for something very special too. Maybe you want to think how 00:09:41.38\00:09:47.02 can I raise money? Maybe I could do chores around the house. 00:09:47.05\00:09:52.09 Maybe mommy and daddy would give me money if I did something 00:09:52.12\00:09:56.12 special. Maybe you could ask your grandma, your grandpa 00:09:56.16\00:10:00.83 if they would somehow help give money and you could do a very 00:10:00.86\00:10:07.77 special project too. Wouldn't that be really exciting? And you 00:10:07.80\00:10:12.34 don't even have to send the money far away. You could even 00:10:12.37\00:10:16.44 do something special in your own neighborhood. So this week I 00:10:16.48\00:10:21.45 want you to think what can I do for Jesus? What can I do that 00:10:21.48\00:10:26.55 might help share Jesus with someone else? Okay boys and 00:10:26.59\00:10:30.79 girls. Bye bye. 00:10:30.83\00:10:33.86 ¤ ¤ 00:10:33.90\00:10:38.87 Hi everyone. I want to tell you about some really special people 00:10:38.90\00:10:43.20 in my life. In fact they're the people who live very close to 00:10:43.24\00:10:47.44 me. (Miss Michelle) I'd say I'm talking about my neighbors. I 00:10:47.48\00:10:51.68 must have the best neighbors ever. For example, our next door 00:10:51.71\00:10:57.65 neighbor is our grandma. Can you imagine? My little boy loves 00:10:57.69\00:11:02.56 living next to his great grandma it's so special. Also we share 00:11:02.59\00:11:07.46 the same driveway with some more neighbors who are a lovely 00:11:07.50\00:11:10.30 couple who our family has known for years and we know that 00:11:10.33\00:11:13.84 they are always there if we need them and they're always so sweet 00:11:13.87\00:11:17.64 and kind to us. Then in the front yard we have some really 00:11:17.67\00:11:20.48 fun kids to play with and their mom and dad and grandma and 00:11:20.51\00:11:23.48 grandpa and then on the other side we have another couple who 00:11:23.51\00:11:26.28 are so sweet. They even gave us some free sand for my son to 00:11:26.31\00:11:30.65 play with in his sandbox and he loves it. It's like his 00:11:30.69\00:11:34.92 favorite thing to do. And on the other side some of our church 00:11:34.96\00:11:37.53 members are actually our neighbors and it's so special to 00:11:37.56\00:11:40.40 have some really wonderful neighbors all around us. Today 00:11:40.43\00:11:44.90 our question is, Who is our neighbor? Let's pray. 00:11:44.93\00:11:50.51 Dear heavenly Father, thank you so much for my neighbors. I just 00:11:50.54\00:11:54.04 want to pause and say thank you for them. Thank you that they 00:11:54.08\00:11:56.68 look out for us and for each other and thank you for giving 00:11:56.71\00:12:00.25 us really fun people in our lives. I pray the Holy Spirit's 00:12:00.28\00:12:03.32 with us today as we talk about who our neighbor is according 00:12:03.35\00:12:06.89 to you. Not what the world says. In your name we pray, Amen. 00:12:06.92\00:12:11.23 All right. Today's story is probably most commonly known as 00:12:11.26\00:12:16.87 the Good Samaritan. Now back in Jesus's time the definition of 00:12:16.90\00:12:22.87 neighbor was a little different when Jesus came up with a 00:12:22.90\00:12:27.18 definition. The Pharisee's definition was the people who 00:12:27.21\00:12:30.48 live next door and many of us may have that same definition 00:12:30.51\00:12:33.55 but Jesus' definition was different than ours. In fact, He 00:12:33.58\00:12:38.19 said that there was a little broader look at who was our 00:12:38.22\00:12:42.36 neighbor. In fact, in the 10 commandments it talks about how 00:12:42.39\00:12:45.39 we should treat our neighbor. Exodus 20 verses 16 and 17 I 00:12:45.43\00:12:49.46 mean especially focus on the last two commandments, number 00:12:49.50\00:12:52.03 nine and number 10. Twenty verse 16 and 17: In Exodus 20, back, 00:12:52.07\00:12:58.64 back, back here verses 16 and 17 Here we go. Sixteen says:... 00:12:58.67\00:13:05.15 You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor. 00:13:05.18\00:13:08.68 That means you should not lie. And then 17 says:... 00:13:08.72\00:13:12.02 You shall not covet your neighbor's house, you shall not 00:13:12.05\00:13:14.29 covet your neighbor's wife nor his male servant, nor his female 00:13:14.32\00:13:16.73 servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey nor anything that is your 00:13:16.76\00:13:19.03 neighbors. 00:13:19.06\00:13:20.70 Now was Jesus saying, You can lie about anybody as long as 00:13:20.73\00:13:24.70 they're not living next door to you? And you know, Billy Bob Joe 00:13:24.73\00:13:31.01 who lives one town over you can wish that you had his car but 00:13:31.04\00:13:35.24 your neighbor's car, nope, that breaks the 10th commandment. 00:13:35.28\00:13:38.45 No. The principle of it is that we shouldn't lie about people. 00:13:38.48\00:13:42.48 Or to people. And that we shouldn't covet or want what 00:13:42.52\00:13:45.99 those people have. And that's really important to not do those 00:13:46.02\00:13:50.26 things. So this helps to broaden the definition of neighbor. 00:13:50.29\00:13:54.36 A neighbor isn't just someone who lives right next door to you 00:13:54.40\00:13:57.30 A neighbor is actually anyone around you. Anyone is 00:13:57.33\00:14:03.44 technically your neighbor according to Jesus. Jesus 00:14:03.47\00:14:06.71 actually became our brother and our neighbor and we're all 00:14:06.74\00:14:10.05 brothers and sisters then in Jesus. Jesus says everyone and 00:14:10.08\00:14:13.85 He's our example so we should also consider everyone to be our 00:14:13.88\00:14:17.65 neighbor. But you see back then the Pharisees had a very 00:14:17.69\00:14:21.59 important list that they kept going and I have it right here. 00:14:21.62\00:14:25.36 It says The Not My Neighbor List They said okay people are my 00:14:25.39\00:14:29.73 neighbor except heathens, nope. Samaritans, nope. Publicans, 00:14:29.76\00:14:36.14 nope, that's a tax collector. Sinners, nope, well he probably 00:14:36.17\00:14:40.48 didn't have any neighbors then. Poor people, nope. And oh they 00:14:40.51\00:14:44.95 forgot one, I better add one, Yup these people definitely are 00:14:44.98\00:14:49.52 not my neighbors, ignorant people are not my neighbor. 00:14:49.55\00:14:53.62 Right? Or a word that is more commonly used today although 00:14:53.66\00:14:58.33 probably not one that we should include in our everyday verbiage 00:14:58.36\00:15:00.70 is dumb. Dumb people are not my neighbor. That's their list. Is 00:15:00.73\00:15:05.93 that a very Christlike list? No. In fact, right with number four 00:15:05.97\00:15:12.01 they have no neighbors. In fact, they are not their own neighbor. 00:15:12.04\00:15:14.81 Right? But they liked to think they were better than everyone 00:15:14.84\00:15:17.91 else because they followed their very special rules and that made 00:15:17.95\00:15:23.08 the best. Mmm. Hmm. And they went even further to us to say 00:15:23.12\00:15:28.52 even like the people on the list even them was like touching 00:15:28.56\00:15:31.29 them was like touching someone with a disease, euww, that they 00:15:31.33\00:15:34.96 might catch. Can you imagine living like that? They must have 00:15:35.00\00:15:37.80 had such sad lives. I actually feel really bad for them. And on 00:15:37.83\00:15:41.34 top of that they loved to argue. In fact, they loved to argue 00:15:41.37\00:15:45.07 about, like well who's good enough to be my neighbor? Who's 00:15:45.11\00:15:46.44 good enough to be my friend? Right. Neighbor might be a 00:15:46.47\00:15:49.11 synonym for friend. But Jesus loved everyone and that made 00:15:49.14\00:15:53.11 them upset. Let's flip over to Matthew 9 verse 11. This is just 00:15:53.15\00:15:58.55 one example that just really upset them. And it says:... 00:15:58.59\00:16:02.32 And one the Pharisee's saw it [that would be Jesus] eating 00:16:02.36\00:16:06.06 with all sorts of different people. And they said to his 00:16:06.09\00:16:10.00 disciples why does why does your teacher eat with tax collectors 00:16:10.03\00:16:11.73 and sinners. [Ugh.] When Jesus heard that he said to them, 00:16:11.77\00:16:16.67 Those who are well have no need of a physician but those who are 00:16:16.71\00:16:20.14 sick. [Mm huh] But go and learn what this means. I desire mercy 00:16:20.18\00:16:26.38 and not sacrifice. For I did not come to call righteous but 00:16:26.41\00:16:31.42 sinners to repentance. 00:16:31.45\00:16:32.79 Let's think about what Jesus said. He said, if I go and I 00:16:32.82\00:16:36.93 take my son's temperature, right and it is not high then you're 00:16:36.96\00:16:43.97 not going to find in the emergency room or at my son's 00:16:44.00\00:16:46.50 pediatrician are you? No. I wouldn't go there because he's 00:16:46.53\00:16:50.17 not sick. He doesn't need a doctor. But if I take my son's 00:16:50.21\00:16:54.18 temperature and it beeps and it's red and, oh my, so high 00:16:54.21\00:16:57.88 then you sure know I'm going to go and get some help for him. 00:16:57.91\00:17:00.08 Right? Just like that people who don't recognize their need for 00:17:00.12\00:17:05.15 Jesus, it's like, I don't know what I can do to help you. 00:17:05.19\00:17:08.66 But if people realize that we're sick, we have a sin sickness, 00:17:08.69\00:17:12.59 then we can know that we can go to Jesus and he will help us. 00:17:12.63\00:17:16.23 He will give us the medicine which is His salvation that will 00:17:16.26\00:17:21.77 save us, that will heal us from our sin sickness. And that's 00:17:21.80\00:17:26.11 when they continued to be irritated with Him. They wanted 00:17:26.14\00:17:28.98 to trick him, so they sent a lawyer. Now lawyers can be very 00:17:29.01\00:17:32.88 good at arguing and they can be tricky people, although I have 00:17:32.91\00:17:35.35 some very good friends that are lawyers and I know that they're 00:17:35.38\00:17:37.45 there to help other people. But this lawyer was there to trick 00:17:37.49\00:17:42.39 Jesus. And so they said that they were going to send him to 00:17:42.42\00:17:47.00 Jesus. And that's in Luke. Interesting. We're going to hop 00:17:47.03\00:17:50.27 on over to Luke now for the rest of this story. Luke chapter 10 00:17:50.30\00:17:54.74 and we're going to start up in 25. Luke chapter 10 verse 25. 00:17:54.77\00:18:00.48 We're going to quickly read through the story of the good 00:18:00.51\00:18:02.04 Samaritan. It's probably familiar one to you. If not, 00:18:02.08\00:18:04.28 I hope you enjoy it for the first time. Here goes. 00:18:04.31\00:18:06.41 And behold a certain lawyer stood up and tested him saying, 00:18:06.45\00:18:09.85 Teacher, what should I do to inherit eternal life? [I want to 00:18:09.88\00:18:12.95 live forever. What should I do?] And he said to him, Well what is 00:18:12.99\00:18:15.86 written in the law? What is it that's you're reading of? 00:18:15.89\00:18:17.89 [Lawyers are very smart people and they read a lot and that's 00:18:17.93\00:18:20.53 why they're smart.] So he answered him, Well it says you 00:18:20.56\00:18:23.30 shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and all your 00:18:23.33\00:18:25.50 soul and all your strength and all your might and your neighbor 00:18:25.53\00:18:27.44 as yourself. And He said to him, you have answered rightly. Do 00:18:27.47\00:18:31.67 this and you will live. And he wanting to justify himself said 00:18:31.71\00:18:35.94 to Jesus, Well who is my neighbor? 00:18:35.98\00:18:37.55 He was feeling a 00:18:37.58\00:18:38.91 little guilty because he didn't necessarily love people like he 00:18:38.95\00:18:41.38 should. So he decided to ask another question to distract 00:18:41.42\00:18:44.45 Jesus and distract himself from his guilt. 00:18:44.49\00:18:46.15 Then Jesus answered 00:18:46.19\00:18:48.89 and said [a story. I love Jesus' stories, parables.] A certain 00:18:48.92\00:18:52.76 man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho and fell among thieves 00:18:52.79\00:18:56.46 who stripped him of his clothing wounded him and departed 00:18:56.50\00:18:59.63 leaving him half dead. 00:18:59.67\00:19:01.00 Thieves busted out, they grabbed his 00:19:01.04\00:19:03.67 wallet, this is Miss Michelle's wallet. They took his money, 00:19:03.71\00:19:06.34 they took his credit cards. They probably didn't want a zoo 00:19:06.37\00:19:10.11 membership, but who knows. They took his Costco card. They 00:19:10.15\00:19:13.78 took his, Mmm, they probably couldn't use his health 00:19:13.82\00:19:15.52 insurance card. They took his, ah, driver's license, that 00:19:15.55\00:19:18.65 wouldn't help them much. So they took everything and they left 00:19:18.69\00:19:21.56 him for dead. They beat him up too. They didn't just take 00:19:21.59\00:19:25.19 things, they beat him up and they left him for dead. Wow! 00:19:25.23\00:19:29.06 This is a sad start to the story let's see what happens. 00:19:29.10\00:19:32.03 Now by chance a certain priest came by on the road. [Priest, 00:19:32.07\00:19:35.87 right? This would have been like one of their pastors back then.] 00:19:35.90\00:19:38.14 And when he saw him, he passed by on the other side. 00:19:38.17\00:19:41.24 He clutched his Bible closer and thought, Oh no. Woops, sorry, 00:19:41.51\00:19:44.41 probably made a loud noise there. I don't want to help him 00:19:44.45\00:19:47.78 I don't have time. I need to make it to church. I got to prep 00:19:47.82\00:19:50.15 my sermon for tomorrow. I don't know what day it was. But 00:19:50.19\00:19:53.86 anyway. And he didn't help. How sad. 00:19:53.89\00:19:55.76 Likewise a Levite, [that would have been 00:19:55.79\00:19:57.13 someone who works for the church] When he arrived at the 00:19:58.09\00:20:00.80 place, he came and looked. He saw him and passed by on the 00:20:00.83\00:20:04.27 other side. 00:20:04.30\00:20:05.63 Once again, they thought that even if they 00:20:05.67\00:20:07.00 touched these sorts of people that they were touching 00:20:07.04\00:20:08.60 someone with a disease. How sad. All this man needed was some 00:20:08.64\00:20:13.48 help. 00:20:13.51\00:20:14.84 But a certain Samaritan as he journeyed came where he 00:20:14.88\00:20:18.45 was and when he saw him he had compassion on him. So he went 00:20:18.48\00:20:26.42 to him 00:20:26.45\00:20:27.79 and he got out his first aid kit, he was prepared and he 00:20:27.82\00:20:31.83 took his bandage and he bandaged his wounds. They're making this 00:20:31.86\00:20:37.87 hard to get into. Anyway, he bandaged his wounds and he took 00:20:37.90\00:20:41.87 care of him. Like everyone should have, right? And then he 00:20:41.90\00:20:47.21 put him up on his donkey. And let's continue reading what the 00:20:47.24\00:20:49.88 Bible says. I guess I don't need to put that back in there right 00:20:49.91\00:20:52.01 now. Let's keep reading. 00:20:52.05\00:20:53.38 So he went to the man and was pouring oil and wine on them. 00:20:58.02\00:20:59.69 And he sat him on his own animal and brought him to an inn and 00:20:59.72\00:21:01.82 took care of him. Now on the next day when he departed he 00:21:01.86\00:21:04.23 took out some money and he gave it to the inn keeper and said to 00:21:04.26\00:21:08.76 him, Take care of him. Whatever more you spend I will come again 00:21:08.80\00:21:13.17 and will repay you. So which of these three do you think was a 00:21:13.20\00:21:17.07 neighbor to him who fell among the thieves. 00:21:17.11\00:21:18.84 Now by this time God had spoken to the lawyer's heart and the 00:21:18.87\00:21:21.81 lawyer knew. He knew the Pharisees were not correct in 00:21:21.84\00:21:25.25 their dealings with other people and who was actually the 00:21:25.28\00:21:27.95 neighbor. But he also was very steeped. The time and the 00:21:27.98\00:21:33.82 culture of that time was so ingrained in him that he 00:21:33.86\00:21:36.89 couldn't bring himself to say the word Samaritan. He couldn't 00:21:36.93\00:21:39.66 say well the Samaritan was the good neighbor. 00:21:39.69\00:21:41.36 So the man answered, He who showed mercy on him [which is 00:21:41.40\00:21:45.87 code for the Samaritan]. And Jesus said to him, Go and do 00:21:45.90\00:21:50.31 likewise. 00:21:50.34\00:21:53.61 Wow! Isn't that amazing? The Bible says you shall love the 00:21:53.64\00:21:58.91 Lord your God with all your heart and your neighbor as 00:21:58.95\00:22:02.95 yourself, in Luke 10 verse 27. And this story once again used 00:22:02.98\00:22:09.66 a Samaritan just like our story from last Sabbath with the 00:22:09.69\00:22:12.66 Samaritan who remembered to say thank you. Those stories with 00:22:12.69\00:22:15.26 the Samaritan, someone who wouldn't typically be considered 00:22:15.30\00:22:20.00 to be one of God's chosen people wouldn't have even made the 00:22:20.04\00:22:23.04 neighbor list. Samaritans are number two on the Not My 00:22:23.07\00:22:25.87 Neighbor List and yet the Samaritan showed what God is 00:22:25.91\00:22:30.48 actually like. Wow! Have we passed by someone that we can 00:22:30.51\00:22:36.42 help? Mmm. That's a sobering thought isn't it? And sometimes 00:22:36.45\00:22:41.06 sadly in today's day and age it's not safe to help people. 00:22:41.09\00:22:44.36 But when it is safe it's really important that we do that. 00:22:44.39\00:22:47.96 Even when we don't feel that it's the safest we can try to 00:22:48.00\00:22:50.50 think of something that maybe we can do. I know it's hard because 00:22:50.53\00:22:54.24 maybe somebody is asking you for money and you don't have any. 00:22:54.27\00:22:57.17 Or maybe someone's asking you for a ride, but you don't feel 00:22:57.21\00:22:59.77 safe having them ride in the vehicle with you. It's sad the 00:22:59.81\00:23:02.24 times that we live in, isn't it? But there are always ways that 00:23:02.28\00:23:05.41 we can be a good neighbor to other people. Maybe you can make 00:23:05.45\00:23:08.15 a list of those ways with your family and think of some ways 00:23:08.18\00:23:10.85 that you can show others what being a good neighbor, what 00:23:10.89\00:23:13.72 loving God really looks like. Because when people see us they 00:23:13.76\00:23:18.39 should think wow, that's someone who shows mercy on someone else. 00:23:18.43\00:23:22.83 Mmm. I hope people can say that about us today. And Jesus can 00:23:22.86\00:23:27.04 help us to become more merciful and more like the good Samaritan 00:23:27.07\00:23:30.97 See ya' next time. 00:23:31.01\00:23:32.44 ¤ ¤ 00:23:32.47\00:23:45.79 It's time to review our questions from last week. Let's say it together. 00:25:11.44\00:25:14.71 Luke 10:27:... You shall love the Lord your God with all your 00:25:14.74\00:25:20.45 heart and your neighbor as yourself. 00:25:20.48\00:25:22.98 ¤ ¤ 00:25:23.02\00:25:38.67 I love stories that my grandpa told me (Uncle George) when I 00:25:38.70\00:25:42.00 was young. Grandpa liked to sell books and he did in some very 00:25:42.04\00:25:47.11 interesting places. Sometimes it was even dangerous. One evening 00:25:47.14\00:25:55.58 he was selling books, because you see people were home to buy 00:25:55.62\00:25:59.65 books about Jesus at night. So he came to a house and he 00:25:59.69\00:26:05.36 knocked on the door and a gentleman opened the door and 00:26:05.39\00:26:10.60 said, What can I do for you? I'm selling books. So he invited him 00:26:10.63\00:26:16.00 in and when Grandpa went into that house something felt kind 00:26:16.04\00:26:20.64 of strange because there wasn't just one man there, there was 00:26:20.68\00:26:24.18 two, three, four, five, six men. And somebody locked the door 00:26:24.21\00:26:30.19 behind him. He was in trouble. And they said, What are you 00:26:30.22\00:26:36.02 selling? And he kind of kept an eye on what was going on and 00:26:36.06\00:26:39.59 knew it wasn't quite right. They were going to try to hurt him. 00:26:39.63\00:26:43.03 And so he prayed to Jesus and he said, Jesus help me. And he said 00:26:43.06\00:26:49.80 to the men, I don't think I belong here and he walked to the 00:26:49.84\00:26:54.38 locked door and he opened the door and he walked out. He knew 00:26:54.41\00:26:59.11 that his angel had unlocked the door to keep him safe. It's good 00:26:59.15\00:27:05.35 when we can work with Jesus as a partner in our work isn't it? 00:27:05.39\00:27:10.76 ¤ ¤ 00:27:10.79\00:27:14.83 Thank you so much for joining us for Sabbath School.
