with a very interesting story

family that had seven children,

little boys was sick.

And, of course, he had
to be taken to the hospital.

Now, let me
give you a background

as to the situation at home.

They were a poor family.

And because of the
limitations in the home,

really, when there
was a full glass of milk,

you can only drink part of it.

And if you were first,

you have to be
careful not to drink too far,

so that the next
person can have some milk.

So this little
boy in the hospital

after he was made comfortable,

were immersed in paganism

for over 400 years,

and they lost a
knowledge of God,

a knowledge of His goodness,
a knowledge of His mercy.

practice of paganism,

So when we get to Exodus 19:4,

a declaration is made
that is very powerful.

what I did to the Egyptians,

and how I bore
you on eagles' wings

and brought you to Myself."

Now, this is, was stated

so that the people
of Israel can realize

they were in a
condition of bondage,

they were slaves,

and to them,
00:06:13.27\00:06:15.07
getting out of that situation

seemed like it
would never happen.

But God, through a
series of miracles,

brought them out of Egypt.

And it says here,
bore them on eagles' wings.

This is a very
interesting declaration.

In fact, I took the
time to look at some videos,

and I saw this video
of an eagle on its nest.

Somebody went way up there,

because they put their
nest way up into the mountains.
00:06:42.10\00:06:44.67
And they had not only a
camera, but a microphone.
00:06:44.70\00:06:48.90
And there was this mother eagle
00:06:48.94\00:06:50.94
with his chicks beneath her
00:06:50.97\00:06:53.51
with her wings outstretched,
00:06:53.54\00:06:54.88
and there was this
powerful wind blowing.
00:06:54.91\00:06:57.88
And the title of the video said,
00:06:57.91\00:07:01.72
how a mother eagle
takes care of her young.
00:07:01.75\00:07:04.42
And she was
there, from time to time
00:07:04.45\00:07:05.85
she will look below to
make sure they're all safe,
00:07:05.89\00:07:08.52
nice and warm, protected.

And this is a picture
of how God is for with us.

He wants to protect us.

That's why you have so
many powerful scriptures,

illustrating God's love
and tender mercy toward us.

Deuteronomy Chapter 32,

the apple of His eye.

As an eagle stirs up its nest,

you see Jesus telling to people,

take no thought for tomorrow.

He tells them, don't worry.

Look at the fields,

see how God takes
care of the fields.

See how God takes
care of the birds.

If He takes care of birds,
you are more value than birds,

God will take care of you.

And so, let's go to
now to Deuteronomy 1:29.

Again, everything that
God does for His children

thoughts of peace concerning us.

So I encourage
you to approach God,

learn about His loving care,

learn about His
plan of salvation,

dig deep into the
plan of salvation.

And during this quarterly,

wonderful messages

of God's everlasting covenant
and His love for His people

because He wants to have
this relationship with us

When you spend time with God,

it seems like time
just goes by so fast.

When you're
digging into God's Word,

and you begin to
feel that warmth feeling

and that peace,

that time comes that
you have to go to work,

or have to go somewhere,

oh, man, I have to do this.

And it's almost like you don't
want to detach from yourself

from that study

and that time spent with God.

But the wonderful thing is,

that wherever we
go, God goes with us.

and stay close to the Lord.

Let's go now to this message
that is written the lesson

very, very interesting

concerning the eagle.

The eagle was known

for its unusual
devotion to its young.

It too lived on mountaintops.

In teaching its young to fly
it carried them upon its back

to those great
heights into the depths.

If the baby was still too
young and too bewildered to fly,

swoop down beneath it,

You know, there are some
people that study animals,

and some of them have said,

"Well, I have never seen this."

But there are
testimonies of people that have.

I mean, the
internet is such a...

You can have resources
there to find this out.

And one of the things I read was

that this father and son
were out in the wilderness,

and they actually
saw an eagle doing this.

They were watching for
about an hour and a half.

And they saw the
eagle repeatedly do this.

And he would push the
young outside of the nest
00:11:53.17\00:11:56.28
and the little baby
would start going down
00:11:56.31\00:11:59.65
and they saw, at
one time they wait,
00:11:59.68\00:12:01.52
he waited till about 150 feet.

And when the
father eagle or mother,

we don't know which one it was,

knew that or saw that

little baby was not
fluttering his wings

and actually flying

would com beneath, catch them,

carry them back up to its nest.

And the testimony says,

"We were waiting and waiting

to see if this
will happen again.

And at one point,

waited about 15
minutes before trying again."

You know, this is
very interesting to me.

Because God is so
merciful, so kind,

that He waits till
He knows we're ready

before He gives us or
allows us to be tried.

He is patient and loving.

You know Satan,

the Bible points out
that he is as a roaring lion

seeking whom he may devour.

And you don't know it,

but God every
day is protecting you

from all the
attacks of the enemy.

Every day, the devil
would like to end your life,

but God has His powerful angel

and they say, "No,

perfectly marked free life,

taxes, have perfect health.

individuals who say,

"I'm a good person,

new set of doctrines

that we are saved.

Nothing could be
further from the truth.

Doctrines can't save you,

the Sabbath can't even save you,

the Ten
Commandments can't save you,

you are saved by
grace through faith.

But in this saving relationship,

His covenant law to Israel
