There is an apocalyptic vision
on this ram and this goat.

goat were both used

as sacrifices in

But the only time
the ram and the goat

were mentioned
together in the temple services

was on the Day of Atonement.

So what we're
seeing here is this vision

has something to do
with the sanctuary ritual

and the judgment
of ancient Israel.

So let's look, we're
gonna begin with verse 3

fast moving vision.

watching a sci-fi movie picture

and as the vision unfolds,

was a ram which had two horns,

and the two horns were high,

but one was
higher than the other,

and the higher
one came up last."

You know in verse
20 as we go on down,

the Angel Gabriel
identifies this ram

as Medo-Persia.

remember that the bear

was raised up on one side,

the bear that had the
three ribs in its mouth.

because the Persians

and the northward expansion

from the west so fast

even touch the ground.

The whole earth felt his fury.

was the winged leopard

And God who knows the future

predicted the rise of
Greece and Alexander the Great.

with rage against him,

there was such savage fury

decimated the Persian Empire.

"Therefore the male

the large horn was broken,

powerful overnight.

And his kingdom was divided

between four notable
ones, his four generals

appearance of a man.

So they rose from that
nation but without its power.
