that I found very interesting.

some of the stories in Daniel

were localized,
historical incidents

that reflect
somewhat the end time events

depicted in Revelation.

And that was one of the days

that I had that we
look at the drama and trauma

as I said of the Hebrew worthies

and Daniel there in Babylon.

But it gives us somewhat of
an idea of the kinds of things

that God's people will have
to traverse in the last days

as we come down to
the last days of history.

We are all going
to be called to stand.

You know, I
question myself on this,

the idea that I'm going to have

to give an account
for the faith that I have,

not only with my
words or with my deeds.

Those things that I hold dear,

that I believe in God,

I'm going to have
to articulate in word

and deed before Christ comes.

all of us who have to pray

stand up and walk with Jesus.

There is no pass on trial,

there is no pass on tribulation.

In fact, it is
through trial, and testing,

and tribulation that
our faith is made strong,

and this is affirmed

When we read Revelation 12:1-17,

personally as a bridge chapter

of both elements.

It is a part
apocalyptic, so it is symbolic.

But it is also historical

because there was war in heaven,

and Satan was
cast out to this earth,

and he did tempt God's people,

ultimately responsible

for the death of the Son of God,

and the persecution
of the Latter-day Saints.

This is all very, very real.

And so we have
this bridge chapter,

and then we move into 13,

historical, move
into 14 which is,

to me, the
pinnacle of Revelation

when you get to the
messages of those three angels.

But they are...

There are historical sections,

and there are
apocalyptic sections,

and together they weave
a picture of where we are,

and where we are going,
and how we are to get there.

Last question, then I'm done.

The lesson says, we seem

to keep repeating
ourselves in history.

What can we do
as a people of God
