was something, they had to be

running around in town.

a lemming kind of thing.

Everybody at the dorm; it
was empty on Friday night.

And I was in the dorm
and trying to behave myself.

But everybody, it's like it's
Friday night; we have to go out.

We just have to go out.

never understand that.

And I was so glad when I
got to an Adventist school that

it was not this push.

Well, on Friday night we
actually had to go out, too.

But this idea that you have to
go out, and you have to drink,

this pressure to do what the

world is trying to do.

And that's dominion.

You're not in control
of your own facilities.

In my book I wrote years ago,
a young lady went to a party

and she smoked crack.

She didn't know that
just; crack was so addictive.

Back in the day they
didn't know that from your first

sampling you're hooked.

You have no
control. It's got you.

That's dominion, where
you're not in control of

your facilities anymore.

That's dominion. Well,
your Bible is saying sin is not

going to have that over you
when you're in Christ Jesus.

You're not going to be subject
to wherever sin wants to take

whatever sin wants to do.

I heard it on an illustration
years ago about under.

The illustration was
that you would be on a road

that has no exit points.

And you're driving on that
road, and you are subject to go

wherever that road leads
you, which I thought was an

interesting way to look at it.

Under is whatever the logical
end is, you've got to go there,

So if the law is taking you
there, and the law is condemning

Hagiasmos is sanctification,
which in the Bible can be used

We are being sanctified.

There was a time when you

What shall we say then?

Shall we continue in
sin, that grace may abound?

Paul makes some
powerful statements.

In Romans 5:20 he

grace did much more abound.

His point is that no
matter how much sin there is,

or how terrible the results
of sin are, God's grace is

sufficient to deal with it.

That is a powerful, powerful
statement for those who've been

sinning a long time.

You can fall so far in sin
that even as you're praying for

deliverance you don't believe
that deliverance can come.

That's how the Devil can
rearrange your thought process.

But the truth is there's nothing
you have done, there's nothing

you are doing, there's nothing
you can do that Christ has not

your parents got; just give you.

little gift from your parents.

nothing to do with that.

other is probably stress.

is because of the way it's in

whatnot. It's hereditary.

You can get predispositions
from your parents.

genetic stuff, and He can cure

grabbed the little brass ring,

that it was fools gold.
